Speaker 2 (00:22):
You're listening to the Best of the Odd Couple.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
All right, rob G, we watched it. It was a
blow They got blowed out. It was embarrassing. If I
saw embarrassing, like typed a million times on.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Social media, even just for a penny. I mean, my god,
because that's all we heard, rob G.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
I mean that's putting it lightly. We talked about author
off the show.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
You know.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
It was a big controversy coming in, like, hey, is
Bally getting gonna play? You're not gonna play? And then
President Trump gets involved, FIFA gets involved, the red card
is suspended, the best player is gonna play. It's all
setting up for USA to have this triumphant win on
home soil, advanced to the round of eight, and instead,
not only do they not win, they got smacked like

(01:05):
the junior varsity, like they had no business being on
the field with those guys. They lose four to one
and it wasn't even that close. If that doesn't any
justice and if there's the insults injury to add to
this whole situation. Fox put out the numbers earlier this afternoon,
Big numbers. Over thirty million people tuned in to watch
that debacle, peeking at over thirty eight million, making it

(01:28):
the most watched soccer match in the history of America.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
All to watch us.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
We the bed, big wet and for me, Yeah, you've
heard the song, is this on?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
It's on? You've heard of America the beautiful? Right? That
was America the Booty because it was stinky.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
There's nothing else you could do but America the Booty.
And let me tell you this for all you people
who tried to talk yourself, this is what we do
in this country. Try to elevate us and think we're
better than other people around the world. And no matter
what the situation or circumstance. Yeah, it's in the United States, right,

(02:09):
they're playing a home game, Yeah in Seattle. Yes, Fox
has the coverage. Oh yeah, the World Cup. This is
our oyster. We're finally gonna arrive. Everyone in America is
gonna watch it, and before this is all done, the
US might win a World Cup and all the little
boys all and girls all over the country are gonna

(02:32):
turn the soccer and go, you know what, this is
a sport.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
We finally got it.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
All the promises that have been made to me since
I was a kid about how soccer was gonna take
over the sports world, and you know what we got.
Us Men's soccer is as phony as a three dollar bill.
And every single time they come up against the best
of the best in the World Cup, actually.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
They flame out, they turn in a bad job, they fold,
they turned to Google. That's what happened yesterday.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Alex rob g Elijah, Steve Desager, Kelvin Washington. You guys
were on the edge of your seat. And it wasn't
because you had to go to the bathroom. You really
were like, oh, yeah, I can't wait. We got our
best player, one of our best players back.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
This is gonna be incredible. That thing was over in
two minutes.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
This was your first night alone with a young woman
in high school. Old I'm just saying it was over quickly,
very quickly, and an embarrassing fashion.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
And once again you were duped America.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
You got duped into buying that something different was happening
because of the home field advantage, because of all the hooplah,
because so what happened prior to the other rounds when
it came time to play the best of the best.
Belgium beat the United States earlier in a exhibition five
to two, and.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
They stopped the US four to one in this game
when it mattered the most. It was ugly. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
I think only thing I'll say, I think you're mixing
up hopeful with like. I don't think anybody was like, Oh,
this is the year we're gonna get it done and
we're about to beat everybody was more so this could
be because of reason X, Y and Z you were
hopeful this year. But to me, I looked at it
like this, First off, you ever remembered that club that
been in your neighborhood for years. Everybody's like, Yo, the

(04:37):
DJ's lit, it's got a great view of the rooftop
in LA the girls are great to drink. You gotta
go to this club is great. To me, that club
was the World Cup and everybody else in the world
knows about it. Everybody else goes, They enjoy it. And
we're a little late. We I don't want to go.
I got work tomorrow, I got the kids. We never
really participated in this club. And you finally go and

(04:57):
you meet a girl and you're going back and forth
with her, you're messaging, you're texting, all that good stuff,
and you got left on red. And that's to me
America leaving the fans of American fans on red.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
I meaning this was the moment we finally at this club.
We're checking it out.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
The ambience is great, the flow is great, we're all in,
the DJ's banging, we're about to dance, and you left
me on red. Everybody was all in. This is the
first time in my life. I'm getting text from certain people.
Oh yoah, you're watching match, or yo, what you got
up for this weekend? We might go watch some games.
And I think the World Cup in and of itself
was bigger than the American team. People have enjoyed the

(05:31):
World Cup more so than specifically this American receiven I
think that's a compliment to the World Cup living up
to the hype, all these star players living up to
the hype. America itself did not. Again, everything was there
for your taking. This was supposed to be the easiest
bracket that we've had, the easiest go at it. We
even got the President jumping in and giving us our

(05:52):
guy back, right, allegedly getting our guy back. And then
of course this is on home soil. North America were
playing up in Seattle, soiled. Everything was there for the taking,
and they wet the bed. They let us down, They
left us on red. They didn't come to the club
with us. That is popping. The World Cup has been popping.
I'm telling you now, I've not watched this much. I've

(06:13):
been watching so many other teams. Mexico that was a
great one. And shout out to Mexico because the difference
for them losing.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
They fought against England.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
They fought, they fell out on the sword, and Mexican
fans were like yo, even though they're sad, they were
like wow. They fought hard and competed to the very end.
We got blowed out. As you said, from the very beginning,
we didn't even compete. We looked black then less than
we looked like we just weren't supposed to be out there.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
We looked like we left our real team on a plane.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
We had to send a JV team, And so I
think that's the biggest letdown is you don't mind the
loss it happens, but it's also how you lose. Like man,
we just did not look like there was any growth
against the best teams and it was all for the
taking an opportunity to really advance, and we didn't do it.
We got left on red thought we were viving, thought
we were in a little something. Some thought we was

(07:00):
about to see what's up with us? And they left
us on red rob And it's to me a massive
loss of opportunity. The World Cup has been spectacular, the coverage,
the games, the other stars. I talk about it with
Alex all the time, all the stars that I've always heard,
the names that you see, the commercials that you're.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Not not what the people here in this country care about.
I'm sorry, no, I'm not. This was this was sold
a bill. You guys sold a bill of goods. I'm
totally in agreement with that. I'm not saying that's what
makes it messed up is that the World Cup has
been amazing and it's gotten the attention of a lot
of people who are typically into it. And then the
addition to it was supposed to be and the American

(07:36):
team might finally advanced passed around of sixteen, and they didn't.
They were terrible and they didn't even look like they
could compete, And it puts you right back in square one,
where here we are gaying who's going to be the
next round.

Speaker 2 (07:47):

Speaker 1 (08:34):
This was probably the weirdest story we ever saw. Big
Facts when it comes to the NFL.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Yeah, this is bizarre and we've seen some crazy stories
this year. You know, you got gambling in the NBA.
I don't know, He's not a really a story. You've
got the US goalkeeper kicking the grass at thead of
the ball. You know that was embarrassing. This story is
just weird. I can't think of a better way of
describing it. So ESPN Seth Wickersham, who does great journalism nowadays,
if there's any guy left in sports media who does journalism,

(09:02):
Seth Wickersham's like right at the top of the.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
List, shout, Seth, what about me? Oh go ahead, Yeah, no,
it's okay.

Speaker 7 (09:07):
So, so Seth was embedded with the Broncos during their season,
not last year, the year before, right during the to
be around Seth Sean Payton and follow the team they
had just got rid of Russell Wilson took that massive
cap hit.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
How are they going to respond?

Speaker 8 (09:24):
Right?

Speaker 4 (09:24):
And that was the big conversation. So in his profile,
Seth Wickersham dropped this nugget that has everybody raising their eyebrows.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
All right, here's what he subd. Was gonna read it verbatim.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Sean Payton and Bill Belichick go back decades forged by
mutual respect, and mutual trauma for working under Bill Parcels.
When Belichick and the Patriots of divorced in twenty twenty four,
Peyton considered presenting Broncos own owner Greg Penner a proposal
for the ages hired Belichick as the head coach and

(09:56):
that he reached fifteen wins, enough to break Don Shula's
career record three forty seven. Peyton would temporarily step down
to assistant coach and run the offense, then moved back to
head coach after Belichick became the all time leader. In
the end, though, it was too complicated and maybe too fanciful.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
That's the stupidest thing I've heard, and I've heard some
stupid stuff since I've been on this show. Let me
this is what I mean. Where people get too wild
and crazy and for themselves, Sean Payton, this is not
a pee wee football league that you pay to be
the coach of and you own in some local community
where like I can do what I want. I'm gonna
put my guy in there. Yo, this is my boy
right here. He's a good coach. I'm gonna throw him in.
I'm gonna go sit on the side. I'll come back

(10:35):
in a year and have two years or so. This
is the NFL, And what do we say the NFL
stands for not for long, rob d The average coaching
stent is three seasons at best three seasons is the average?

Speaker 3 (10:47):
There?

Speaker 5 (10:47):
So the idea that he was just gonna sit on
the sideline until he won fifteen more games.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
What if it took him three to four year? What
if it team sucks?

Speaker 5 (10:54):
What if they went three and fourteen and you know
what I mean, you're gonna sit there for season after season.
Idea that you would even do that as if you're
not You've win a super Bowl winning coach, you've got
respect within the league. Why would you even do that
and play the NFL as if it's a game. I'm
gonna just go sit over here be an assistant coach.
And if I'm the Broncos, I'm offended that you even

(11:15):
bring this to me, Robb, because I'm like, bruh, this
isn't the reverse. You're not Bill Belichick in New England
twenty something years, five six super bowls where it's like, oh,
you're this established guy. You just got here with the Broncos.
You just got here. This is year two with you.
We then got rid of Russell Wilson's seventy something million
dollars for you, and now you want to play some

(11:36):
musical chairs. We'reb a move over here, and then when
he gets the wins, I'll bounce back.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
And that's offensive to me.

Speaker 5 (11:43):
If I was a player, dude, we talk about all
this time, everybody thinks of a Tom Brady or EMMITTT. Smith,
of these guys who've had these long careers. Dude, average
player careers like three years or so, three and a
half years mean, And I ain't got time for you
to be switching coaches. Who's this different system, different programs.
I'm trying to succeed so I can have a career

(12:03):
and make money and provide for my family and have
as long as career as possible. See the idea that
you're gonna play around and switch coaches and come back,
that's just crazy.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
I can't even believe it. The audacity of him.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
Again, who was not somebody who'd been with the Broncos
for a long extended amount of time. Stupid, dumb And
I can't even believe that the I might, you know,
I might have went full Rob Parker and if he
came up to me.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
Were out golfing or something.

Speaker 5 (12:26):
He said, I got an idea, owner would if I
sit to the side, fired.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
As soon as he came down.

Speaker 5 (12:33):
Fire because you're not taking it seriously enough for me
that you would come with the idea that a guy
I'm not even familiar with like that, I gave you
the keys of this this franchise, and you want to
go sit down.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
Let him win fifteen games, and then I'll bounce back. Man,
get out.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
I would have went full Rob Parker and fired him
right on the golf course or at the dinner or
wherever he brought that idea to me.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
This should come as no surprise.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Another half baked idea from Sean Payton, the author of
bounty Gate.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
Do you remember bounty Gate with the Saints.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Let's put a slush front of money together and have
our players go out and try to hurt other people
playing on the other team.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
How about that? You thought that was ridiculous and terrible.
You remember Sean.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Payne got suspended, the league told him to cut it out,
like two or three times, kept doing it. They went
from two thousand and nine doing that to twenty twelve.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Idea.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Can you imagine other players buying into the eye. Nobody
said to Sean Payton too, we want to win the game.
Why would I want to hurt and stop somebody's career
and possibly injure them.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Really, and now this preposterous idea.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
They would be phony anyway, And I don't think people
would have recognized it.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
I really don't. I think people would have said, this is.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
A farce, this is prefabricated, it ain't real. Sean Payton
still the coach that got Bill Belichick standing there so
that he can get some his needed wins and passed
Don Schuler and act like he's winning his coach in
the NFL. Thank god nobody went along with this trash.

(14:24):
It tells you about Sean Payton, though. I mean, that's
just like the idea of the league. But I'm glad
you use that word disrespectful. He's disrespectful to Russell Wilson.
He had a personal thing against Russell Wilson for whatever reason.
The guy did go to two Super Bowls and win
one and now this again disrespectful to the players. He

(14:48):
did it to Russell Wilson, to the players in bounty Gate.
And we're not talking about paper towels and now the
coaching ranks. He was going to soil the coaching ranks
by propping up Bill Belichick. Sean Payton, why didn't you
pick your nine year old son and let him be
the head coach? Cause it would be the same thing.

(15:09):
People would be what what is this a joke that
the league propam wouldn't even allowed it? Come on, dude, no,
Sean Payton, you have fire Sean Payton and hired Bill Belichick.
Now maybe I'll buy into it. You're fired? How's that?

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Come on? You know what else? It is weird too.

Speaker 5 (15:25):
Everybody has you know that friend who like overly indebted
to somebody that's too too much difference to him, like
I'm in difference, Like I owe him this, I he
did this. No no, no, no, no, that's just your man's
or not your older brother. You know you're big homie
or whatever. But like, dude, you're you're grown man. You've
won a Super Bowl. No no, no, like you could

(15:45):
admire Bill Belichick. I mean like, but it's some weird
everybody like that.

Speaker 9 (15:49):
That.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
Again, everybody has that friend or that family and they
just like they owe them to the rest of their life.
I owe them this, or they always are bigger than me.
They're they're you know, they they sun me, or like
I gotta any time I can, I gotta make sure
they're in a position.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
And I feel like it's that like some.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
Weird, oh my, some weird indifference, like I owe him this,
like he did something for me, because that just logically
doesn't make sense, like if anything, you know, maybe he's
your elder statesman. He wants to look out for you,
I want to get you in position, I want to
help you out or something. The idea that you're doing
this for him, it's just weird. And again I keep thinking,
I go back to the players, rob because I look

(16:25):
at it as the players of Like, dude, it is
hard as heck to win in the NFL. Right, you
can even be not a bad team, but have a
few bad plays and now your season is terrible. And
the idea that was just gonna keep changing systems, changing coaches,
changing ideologies and philosophies, and just so he can do
this for a year and a half and it might
have been two, three years. You never know them. Guarantee
you win fifteen games in a year or two he

(16:46):
might be three years. Sho you've seen teams be terrible
for a few So just the idea that you would
do that, Like what kind of least did he think
he had with the Broncos?

Speaker 3 (16:54):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (16:55):
Working about he Yo, I'm a chill over here for
two three years or something and then I pop back
up and then when you need I'm gonna be over
here to refrigerators pull me out. Like what what kind
of what kind of least does he know? What does
he know on the Broncos owners that he can just
have them, you know, have play.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
His war game like it's like it's his team, like
he don't know it at dead bodies.

Speaker 5 (17:15):
Hey, do me this favorite because you owe me that
I'm gonna go sit over here for a few years.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
That's crazy. Did they win for Super Bowls? That I
forgot about it? And that's what I'm saying. Belichick was
doing this.

Speaker 5 (17:26):
It makes sense, ay man, Okay, after twenty some years,
can you do me a silid Okay, not that he should,
but you at least would go Okay, I can see that.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
You just got here the year before and you already
got to want to do these types of things. Makes
no sense to me. Rob g.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Your thought as a third voice because we both disagree.
You see anything to this, or you're preaching to the choir.
I would love to hear people think that this is
possibly a good thing for Bill Belichick and for football.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
There cannot be a single person who think this is
good for Bill Belichick or for football.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
It would have looked bad.

Speaker 9 (17:59):
It's embarrassing for all parties even bring this up. Ida
and I don't again, we don't know that how far
along this idea got.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
But if Bill Belichick knew about it and was cool
with the idea of Sean Payton presenting it with the
owner to the owner, then shame on Bill Belichick too,
because for you to have, even though it's tainted in
some ways, arguably the single greatest coaching career in all
of sports. And right because it's harder to win in

(18:30):
football than it is in the NBA, I think we
can all agree on that. Like, there's a reason why
if you win one Super Bowl you're a made man.
God forbid, dude, want six of them? Right, I'm not
even counting as a coordinator. And for you to find
a way or to be okay with becoming the all
time wins leader in such a cheap fashion would be

(18:51):
I'm not going to say it's as bad as bounty
gear as a spy game to flay gate, but it's
just like it would taint everything about him and his legacy,
even more so than this USC debacle.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
I agree.

Speaker 5 (19:03):
Why would he want to look that desperate? You just
mentioned it went through without the down shoe the record,
most people look at Bill Belichick as the greatest coach
or at least in the mix. Why we know, But
the idea that you would be looking so desperate, it
doesn't make sense because you don't need that. Like if
I'm his girlfriend, out of this okay, Dn, we ain't
even talked about her.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
In a minute. Now, she'd amaze she's doing. Now she's
still around, and yeah, she'll be yelling us some money
didn't run out. I guess I suld yell at somebody soon.

Speaker 5 (19:30):
But I just yeah, the desperation that it reeks of
is what makes it weird to me, because it was not.
It wasn't even like why would he Why would you
want to do that? And why would Bill Belichick need that?

Speaker 8 (19:38):
Do?

Speaker 5 (19:38):
You were highly regarded, you are who you are legacy wise,
you don't need those wins that that it's not that important.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Sure would be a great notch on the belt, but
you don't need it.

Speaker 2 (19:48):

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Well, Rob, I had a trash talk he never had
time to get to.

Speaker 9 (20:03):
I'm trashing Geraldo Rivera.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
Do you want to know why that's racist?

Speaker 4 (20:11):
That's a little racist.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
You want to know why because.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Because he is a n A h J Hall of
Famer and he never had menteen Night and Magic City.
I thought it was you know, you were supposed to
do that as a Hall of Famer of the National
Association of insert race here Journalism. And you're a hall
of famer, your job is to lead the next wave

(20:36):
of journalists a dark curtain onto the dark stage, sitting
around the.

Speaker 5 (20:43):
Dark gonna be dark. What you're saying about that is that?
I mean, how you know he wasn't that got to
be racist? How do you say magic? We hear you
on the air right now. I know, gosh, what do
you know what? We could have went to the one
from from dusk till dawn. I can't say the money
air but because it's inappropriate. But we could have done that.

(21:05):
Why do you know I'm mad at your trash. Let
me trash. You should help me in this trash. And
rob G, after all these years of him knowing you,
all these years, I've been knowing you by what eight years?
Rob G has never gone to N A h J
as much as you talk about as much as I talk,
you need to go there? So what is I'm trashing you?
Why don't you ever go? Hurrado might have invited you

(21:27):
had you went. It might be a secret society thing
you just don't.

Speaker 4 (21:30):
Know about, like the Illuminati.

Speaker 5 (21:33):
I won't go that far, okay, but made about that.
I'm like rob he might not have a flyer maid
what it.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
Would have just been a text that would address it.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
Might be a whisper Rob over here, get your T shirt,
get doc.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
I don't even understand why all the good that I do,
oh gosh, and none of it seems.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
To don't even bring the violins, Alex, don't bring him.
All were done was try to help the next generation.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Like that's my calling, Like you know, like your dad
and Rob G, your dad and Alex whatever.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
Conspiracy exactly.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
But all I've tried to do since I'm sans kids
is try to help the next generation.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
I'm still heavy on the allegedly sayings kids thing. I
think there's a thirty two year old.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
You don't think I wanted to take my son to
his first script club.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
Of course I did.

Speaker 8 (22:31):
Strawberry Parker was gonna be at the stage making it rain,
but I didn't.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
Know I was gonna meet two generations to Parker men.
But the idea that there's something wrong with.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Going to a legitimate business and establishments not the end of.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
The whoa whoa, whoa whoa. Don't fast forward past that,
Just say it, where's my bra? That you wanted to
be like Lebron at the club with my son.

Speaker 5 (22:57):
Yo, Alex, He's sounded like he was taking into applebe
I wanted to break bread with these young men.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
That's on it, to break bread and imagine T shirts.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
Like a team.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
Then wear a T shirts, but they get them forever,
commemorate the moment.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
That's all it is. Is your name gonna be on
the shirt?

Speaker 5 (23:15):
Of course? Oh yeah, of course, Rob. How don't you
get mint teen night, not mint tea tona night? How
don't you get that. You know what when when you
go to a new city. Alex Right helped me out.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
So you're going somewhere on a convention you want to
like if you were in what do we go Birmingham, Alabama?

Speaker 3 (23:38):
You do the whole bridge, and you know.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
And and and the civil rights movement, you know, you
follow those steps when you go to Atlanta. There's a
lot of stuff down there as well civil rights, but
there's a lot of historical things that you want to
be a part of. And you can't go down there
and experience Atlanta without the idea. Magica is a landmark.

(24:01):
I don't disagree, and that we have Magic City Monday
here because we love uh Magic City.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
How I got in the Wii, but okay, stay off
the weeds. That was just open.

Speaker 5 (24:11):
You put me in the French Wii up on that thing.
But it's all right, Rob. Nobody said don't go. Nobody
said don't go with a couple of the homies. But
to have minteen nights is wild.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
I love how you compared it to civil rights movements.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
To the king right now, Mom, I want he compared
it to you trying to get people to go to church.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
I didn't even want to use it. Oh but you
and Chris Bussagan invite people to church and pray.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Exactly and make them feel well a little weird, like
nobody has ever wed.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
I can't say no.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
He's invited me to TRU for two years, A right
something you ain't came yet, day worship and Magic City too.

Speaker 5 (24:52):
Just something now, Calvin, you're pointing the beast guy put
her on the pole.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Mit.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
We're both making donation.

Speaker 3 (24:59):
We are rob g Can you see him now?

Speaker 5 (25:04):
Anyway? So anyway, this is what you need to do
in journalism. You like what your man about. This is
how I throw my ones now.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Normally I like to.

Speaker 5 (25:13):
Get a vertical angle to almost like a picture. Here's
sports for your sports journalism. One on one and sometimes
I use a screwball when I want to get it
right there so that it doesn't hit the ground.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
You know what I mean. Remember, you gotta set the precedent.
You gotta tip, and then you pull back. Now here's
the big work for it. I keep a string on
it so nobody knows that I pull it back. Okay, y'allll.
Just I try. I tried to do the right thing. Try.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
I try to do the right thing to help establish
like a bond. Uh sometimes you know, gott to take
people to their own environment so that they can have
a bond with you.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Especially, Wait, what's their own about it?

Speaker 5 (25:51):
Their own? Just put young black men in the box
their own what it?

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Shut up and shut up?

Speaker 5 (25:59):
And that up at T work is crazy shop.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Can I wait till August tenth so I could get
to the convention and get it over with?

Speaker 3 (26:11):
I mean, but I do want it.

Speaker 8 (26:13):
We're gonna have a great time to over with Roby
knowing this stupid ass diet.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
I'm gonna go to this dumb convention and that's it.
Oh under five pictures we get that night. It was
a success.

Speaker 5 (26:25):
No pictures, not not of that, but just the fact
that you have the time of your life cheesing up
in there.

Speaker 9 (26:30):
All right.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
All I'm gonna say is speaking of the diet. And
I do want to give an update. When Kelvin said
I had no shot at reaching my goal where you
at one ninety six, sixteen pounds away from my goal
with five weeks to go, Nah, I'm gonna concede that
I might get you know what I mean, like five

(26:55):
pounds away I could get eleven pounds, and I know
I can't. I know, I I.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
Don't want you to.

Speaker 5 (27:01):
I think you'll find out because Bro, if we go
down with that Atlanta, some get into it and we
gotta scrap.

Speaker 3 (27:04):
You get a little too skinny, brouh, have a little
something and you tell them.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
But but the idea that I got, that got that
that far off, you know what I mean, knock that
much weight off.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
It's impressive. I told you.

Speaker 5 (27:16):
And the best part about it is you promised that
you're not gonna put that much weight on this.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
No, no, no, I'm gonna. I'm gonna change next time.
I really am. I'm not.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
I went crazy last year. And the good thing is
the super Bowl is here, So I'm not gonna eat
like I did when when we're on the road, because
because remember why not, because we're not on company dime anymore.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Wait, we're not, right, rob g. When they have it here,
do they give us a pert Yeah? Yeah, okay, So.

Speaker 5 (27:44):
Moved to Sofi Stadium. Menteen night is going down. You
on Google right now trying to find the place.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
All I'm gonna tell you is one mentee who did
not get an invitation was highly disappointed and actually offended
that they didn't get one. No no, no, no no.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
We know those who are going to attend are going
to have a great time. That's not the question, Rob.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
We know that.

Speaker 5 (28:11):
It's just a menteen knight. This sounds crazy, all right,
and you got a logo. That's the best part about
it too,
