NFL Top one hundred was released overnight and it was
ranked forty to thirty one. The guy who came in
at number thirty three overall, Jared Goff, sounds about right,
thirty three best player in the NFL. You know, it's
not nothing cool about the problem. What that is is
that is six spots ahead of Justin Herbert Oh, eleven
spots ahead of Joe Burrow.

Here's my favorite.

Thirty six spots ahead of Lamar Freakin' Jack Rob Parker.

It doesn't make sense. And this is typical. You know
what for a long time, Jared Golf and I know
that's your quarterback there, Kelvin, but he's overrated and people
keep talking about Jared Golf this and that, and he's
overrated for this reason. I don't care what numbers he

puts up. He has not been able to put up
the numbers in those big games that you need him
to put it up. And that's where if you're gonna
hold that to Lamar and some of these other guys, right,
and I get it, they're coming off injuries and maybe
that's why they're pushed down the you know what I mean,
pushed down but Jared golf some of the biggest games.

And you noticed Kelvin last year two years ago, right,
was it?

No? Yeah, because they make the playoffs last year two
years ago, that game against Washington at home nine and
a half point favorites, and Jared Goff went to bed.
If he was that quarterback and people really thought he
was that dude, he would have.

Never been traded from the Rams.

Remember the Rams had a smoking hot offense when he
was there. They actually were averaging like thirty five points
a game. Come to Super Bowl, they scored three points
on an eighty nine yard field goal and that was it.
They were like, Okay, he's a weak link. We gotta
do something else. That's where Matthew Stafford. They took Matthew Stafford,
who hadn't even won a playoff game in.

His career, over Jared Goff, who.

Was a pro bowler, who had his offense click in
one of the top five offenses in the history of
the NFL. None of it mattered because they didn't think
he could get the job done when it matted. Most
last year, if you remember, they played the Minnesota Vikings
Kelvin against a third string quarterback and he threw what

four picks? He was awful in a game the Lions
had to win. If you remember that, that was another
one of those moments where Jared Golf turns into Jared
Tennis and he's just no good. And that's why when
you look at these lists and people prop them up
and they look at some stats and all that, I
don't buy into him. I think he's a good quarterback

middle of the row, but I don't think he's an
upper echelon quarterback man.

He is Rake thirty third, he's raked depending on which
one you look at about the eighth best quarterback. You
did all that talking just to tell me the man
is properly rated. Nobody said he's better than Patrick Mahomes
or he's better than Josh. I don't think he's better
than Mark Jackson, and I agree with you. That's Lamore
and Joe Burrow.

The two lists we've been going off of do it differently.
So the tiers one we just talked yesterday, who were
on the phone with again, Mike Sando, and he didn't
even a minute, like it's kind of random how we
do it. It's history is also projecting future, and it's also current.
The top one hundred is based simply off who had
the best year, who was looking good last year, So

that one I can get away because it makes sense.

But Dave had the playoffs last year. I mean that's right,
but they were.

Not in eight his his his stats were in his
stats were If I told you his stats, you would
think he was in the MVP race. No thirty four
thirty four touchdowns in eight interceptions, okay, but forty five
hundred yards anybody else, that is an amazing season for them.

But if anybody did he get the numbers when the
games that mattered they lost. They lost to Minnesota at home,
and then they lost to a third string Go look
at the numbers and the two biggs.

So he, to me, is properly rated.

an NFC Championship game, which we all agree they should
have won against the forty nine ers. Credit to forty
nine ers for taking that game from them. And you
how long did you cover the Detroit Lions?

Todd Francis agent's actually really smart. He's top three contract agent,
and he waited to see what Beashon, Robinson God and
Jonathan Taylor got. And what's funny is these things usually
go like this in mid March when the extensions to
get downe our guys signed with other teams. But because

He's got done so late, they waited. I thought France
played it really really smart. And Gibbs, you're talking the Lions.
I think they would tell you as they told me,
Gibbs is probably better than they thought he was. They
did not know he was as physically strong as he is.
They knew how explosive he was, but they didn't know
he was as violent as a runner as he would
turn out to be and more physical. You don't have

that is six spots ahead of Justin Herbert Oh, eleven
spots ahead of Joe Burrow.

if you're gonna put Mahomes as a number one quarterback,

not played any MVP level in years in two anyone
playing well like he's still top five. I'm not saying

I don't know who's doing. See now, if you ask
NFL executives, if you if you like, let's say you
put let's say the three of us are putting together
our list and we have to talk to thirty two
general managers. They can't vote for their quarterback. Okay, you

can't do that. Just exclude your guy. If Joe Burrow
is not in the top five, get rid of the list.
He doesn't control the ineptness, and then not get petive
part of their defense. The defense is not competitive, it
hasn't been in years. That's not his fault.

Todd Francis agent's actually really smart. He's top three contract agent,
and he waited to see what Beashon, Robinson God and
Jonathan Taylor got. And what's funny is these things usually
go like this in mid March when the extensions to
get downe our guys signed with other teams. But because

He's got done so late, they waited. I thought France
played it really really smart. And Gibbs, you're talking the Lions.
I think they would tell you as they told me,
Gibbs is probably better than they thought he was. They
did not know he was as physically strong as he is.
They knew how explosive he was, but they didn't know
he was as violent as a runner as he would
turn out to be and more physical. You don't have

to take him out in goal line situations. He's actually
a fairly big guy. He's way bigger than you think.
And it's been look without him because they got all
sorts of problems with their secondary. I was right when
I thought they'd drop off last season. I'm not high
on him again. I'm sorry. I just they were my

I'm not feeling it. I'm just not feeling with that team.

Were they insufferable? Were they like of all the teams
in Detroit, the Tigers. When the Pistons fell off, obviously
they had some they had a great run, right and

the Red Wings as well, but their ineptitude is one
of the worst in NFL history. Was it just terrible
to cover that team? It was easy because you know,
as pain focus, like it's like, oh guy, there you
go get But it was.

They were down twenty one to nothing in the first
quarter like almost every week, like you would already know
that they could every year. It was so bad and
Matt uh Matt was just a terrible general man. It
might be arguably the worst general manager in the history
of sports.

No, I would put them out there because remember to

really got me, and I don't know if you remember this,
