Are you ready.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Quite a minute, Alex, It's time for in Grogny here

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Are you kidding? Who wrote that? Who wrote a skit
like that?

Speaker 1 (04:58):
On Sunday Line? When I first watched that, I was
on the road made a whole movie with Pat Terrible.
The movie was terrible because it's a five minutes yeah
you know what I mean, not a not an hour
and a half movie, which they would you can't make that.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
But but my god, whoever wrote that was incredible. I'm serious,
no way.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
The bestball Rob g was. Rob was about to tell
us I was on the road. I had on this flannel.
Why do you remember exactly? The first know why?

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Because I was on the road in the hotel and
I laughed so hard like I could. I was like,
this is so funny because there are people like that
where you're where you're like.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
You know, Rob, I'm just saying.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
Like Rob, well, that's why they got That's what listen,
that's why people. Now you go to the profile page,
they're gonna tell you. You know, they put put the pronoun there.
They let you know you ain't got a guess nowadays.

Speaker 1 (05:49):

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Roll. I'll be working with this dude. Nothing back there
almost two years. He ain't never laughed his hard off nothing, Robby.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Even Chris and its laughing you are.

Speaker 6 (06:25):
That was the essentially your Chris Russa laughed right there.
Alex clicked that I need that laughing.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
My god.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
It funny stuff been on this show. That's the thing.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
You laughed hard, all right, Alex, Alex, one more time
and then we'll get to the show.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
One more time, just one more for me.

Speaker 6 (06:50):
It's time for and Roger here comes back.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Okay, then we're trying to buy Pat stop for her birthday.
Or his birthday or whatever. Right, they were trying to
buy stuff, and so they were like, Pat, we want
to get you something for your birthday. What should we
get you? And then uh it said, I don't know
something from the gap?

Speaker 3 (07:14):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (07:14):
So you didn't know there's something from the gap? Okay,
we got you?

Speaker 3 (07:20):
All right? All right, well gee.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
Let's go here, let's get back to the show here. Sorry,
YouTube will be some more comments later in the show.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
I already know. Here we go.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
We're keeping an eye on the NBA playoffs. You know,
we got game three Nix.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
And what is it? Forty four forty less? Uh Nicks
up by four.

Speaker 6 (07:36):
One on a run?

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Bro?

Speaker 3 (07:37):
What is it now?

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Mix up?

Speaker 5 (07:40):
It's tough, It's tough. But the other game is tonight
the Nightcap Victor Wimany. I'ma on the Spurs taking on
Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves. And ahead of that game,
Yard Barker, which we get some content from. They got
some good stories on there.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
What what Wait a minute? That those are fans right
right and stuff like they're.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
Like sports bloggers and opinion like they write little blurbs
about stuff.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
You didn't help yourself right here.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
They didn't go to journalism school.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
He let him get these takes off, rob So there's
a columnist or a blogger or whatever you want to
call him.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
He writes for Yard.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
Barker wrote a piece ahead of Game three on the
heels of Anthony Edwards after game two, making his franchise
record forty eighth career playoff game appearance from Minnesota, the
most in Timberwolve's history.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Floated out.

Speaker 5 (08:29):
The idea, is Anthony Edwards already the greatest player in
Timberwolve's history.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Go ahead, Kelvin, cause I don't know.

Speaker 6 (08:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (08:39):
No.

Speaker 6 (08:39):
The answer is an emphatic no.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
And we got a pause and calmed down and let
people play their duration of their time with a team,
their tenure. Relax. Pumped the breaks, matter of fact, hit
the anti lot break. You can hit the drift break
if you want to do a Tokyo drift. Hit the
breaks for a minute. All right, people, Anthony which is
gonna be is a good to great player. He gonna
have an amazing career. Let's settle down. That answer is

(09:03):
Kevin Garnett. The answer is Kevin Garnett for several reasons,
because I think you got to forget the cultural impact.
He was the first guy to come out of high
school in quite some time. Right, you had Moses Malone. However,
many years before that he had a nickname already. He
was the kid the ticket. And I think what he
brought to an organization that I can't even think of

(09:24):
what the timberw was did before him, Like, I literally
don't remember a single thing before him. Maybe I think
they had Cherokee Parks or something, if that's the best
I can think of. And Kevin Garnett gave them something
to hope for. He gave them identity, He gave them passion.
He gave him blood, sweat and tears. And I understand
he didn't have all the success. He didn't win rings there,
but they also didn't do a lot to build around him.

(09:45):
They got step Marbray out of there too early, and
I think, but let's just settle down what he meant to.
That's why the other night, because they had bad fuel,
blad blood between him and the organization. He finally came
back a month or so ago for the first time,
they go crazy.

Speaker 6 (10:01):
They have welcomed him back.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
You got the new ownership group Alex Rodriguez and the crew,
and they want to bring back.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Guys who mean so much with an organization.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
And I don't think anyone means more to the Timberwolves
than Kevin Garnett.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
Can he eventually get that? Sure? Can we give him
some time too? Please? Yes?

Speaker 4 (10:16):
And also I think they got a great guy and
Anthony Edwards in that there's some echoing of the same temperament.
Right Kevin Garnett. We knew, vocal, cared, passionate. You never
questioned was he gonna play? Never question his heart Anthony
Edwards for all the young guys who were starting to
do low management. And I don't want to play. He plays,

(10:37):
He wants to play. He shows up, he plays both
sides of the ball. He's very vocal, He's got that
great charismatic personality.

Speaker 6 (10:44):
He's on his way.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
But I think it's too fast to already say that,
pump the brakes, relaxed, chill, let some marinate, like Big
Mama did when she was cooking up something. She let
it marinate before she just do it out there. You
got to let all the season and get up in there.
And so I just think it's a little premature. But
I love the temperament. I love what he keep winning,
like his desire to play, his desire to win, talking trash,
he cares he is a historian of the game. He

(11:09):
very well could be, but absolutely as of current today,
if he were to retire today is Kevin Garnett. But
I think he's on the track to be. And they
should be happy that they got a guy who wants
to win, who cares about winning, cares about the city,
cares about his teammates.

Speaker 6 (11:22):
But hold up, it's Kevin Garnett.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
I just it's so premature.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
What do we do with celebrating a guy who didn't
make it to the finals, was on the doorstep twice,
that's what you're celebrating. Is that how pathetic the franchise
is that you're celebrating not getting there. I just don't
even understand it. It's just not what are we doing?
Like really, like, can you win something? Should we put

(11:49):
a statue out for him? Already? Since they got to
the Western Conference finals two years in a row and
didn't make it to the finals, is he worth a statue?
It's just mature. Stop rushing everything. Can he win something
for you? Can you make it feel good a little bit?
To at least decide, hey, this was something that we

(12:10):
haven't had before. Yes, win a title. I would look
at you and go, wow, that's amazing. Aunt Man won
a title for the Timberwolves. Can you believe they want
a championship? But instead, no, we want to celebrate everything,
every little one.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Oh yeah, he's played in a lot of playoff game.
That's nice.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Good. How about winning? Can we win something? Can you
win a stuffed animal at the circus? Can you win
something to raffle at the big sale? Can you win something?
My goodness, gracious? So well, the pushback be to you.

(12:54):
Rob G's got it, Yeah, Rob G.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Hey, someone's got to push back on y'all old folk.
He's out here.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
Look, Rob, you hit the nail on the head inadvertently
there in your ramp. Have you seen the history of
the Minnesota Timberwolves. It is not illustrious the Lakers. They
are not the Celtics, they are not They're not even
the Golden State Warriors.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Right.

Speaker 5 (13:15):
They've only made it to the Western Conference Finals before
at Man once in their franchise's history. It is not
a ridiculously high bar to clear. And if we're gonna
make the argument in sports, which is what we do
over and over and over that winning is the most
important thing. It's all that matters when we talk about football.

(13:37):
The reason why outside of Rob Parker, Tom Brady is
universally regarded as the greatest quarterback whoever lives because he
has seven super bowl No, no, no, I gotta stop you
because here here's the problem with your pushback.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
It's not based on just your team history. It should
be based on like winning, like like there's a degree. No,
I get it, seriously. It's the reason that I had
a problem with was that the Memphis who had.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
The sixth man with Tony Allen and.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
Tony Allen as you're retiring like like that that's not
the standard. I get it that you haven't done it yet,
but the standards still should be about trying to win.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
I agree with you a champ.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
But the thing is is that if I if nobody
has won a championship, then there's only so many things
that can go off of.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
And like I was saying, the wait, so, like I
was saying.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
With Tom Brady, he's regarded as the greatest because he's
wanted the Super Bowls even though almost every single current
or former NFL player that we've spoken to on this
show has said the best quarterback I've seen is Aaron Rodgers,
Dan Marino, Paynon Manning.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
It's never Jan Away.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
There's never anyone who has said the best I've ever
seen Pat Rombas. No one has ever said it's Tom Brady.
So when you're talking about the greatest player in Minnesota
Timberwolve's history, just by the fact that he he's done
something twice in two years that you've only done once
in fifty years, how can you not say that he's

(15:08):
already the greatest and most accomplished place.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Because they didn't win their history. Because they didn't win,
it's not enough just to go. I just think that
that is such a low bar and toil this point.
So we with that said right up until and showed
up then that we should have had for Kevin Garnett.
He should have been celebrated in a statue out front.
He is, but there's no statue out front for him

(15:33):
because they didn't win anything.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
It's my point. I just can't get with that. I
don't understand.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
I understand, like you don't have a history yet you
hope to build one, right, but to just say well,
we've been in existence for thirty years and we haven't
done dog crap. So let's pick out somebody who was
halfway decent and put up a statue or retire a number.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
That's not how it should be done. It just isn't.
I'm gonna wait, yeah.

Speaker 6 (16:02):
And I was just gonna say too, rob g.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
This is where I think sometimes best and greatest get
a little mixed up. In my opinion, Edwards may end
up being the better, maybe the better career. Maybe he
gets to a finals, maybe he wins with maybe he
just gets there once or twice, he doesn't win it.
The point is he's already will have achieved more than
Kevin Garnett technically, but that doesn't mean you're the greatest
of something in what you mean to that city, that town.

(16:26):
And I think Kevin Garnett as of now, he means
more to Minnesota, right, he meant more to blood, sweat
and tears them seeing. Man, we ain't giving this guy
much of nothing, And look how hard he's playing. He
shows up every night. Not a single soul on this
God's green earth has ever questioned man. I wonder if
Kevin maccarnett came to play tonight.

Speaker 6 (16:46):
Never in your life.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
Have you ever wondered about that about him. Never in
your life did you worry that it mattered to him.
Never did you worry that he was gonna show up
and get the fans everything he could.

Speaker 6 (16:55):
And I think that also makes it where.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
People are more inclined to remember that, to be nostalgic
about that, because the feeling that person gave them what
it meant is again he let it all out on
the floor.

Speaker 6 (17:07):
And so again it's not even fair too.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
And Edwards had this conversation because he's twenty what four
or five, He's not even in his prime yet, which
is why I said he eventually could surpass him. But
as of today, it's not even fair and he's not.
And we gotta pump the brakes. And like I said
with Big Mama, do let that thing marinate all right?

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
six sixty three sixty nine. And is Anthony Edwards the
greatest player in Timberwolve's history.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
We want to hear from you. We'll continue that conversation next.

timberwolf of all time, kind of greatest, I should say, greatest,
surpassing Kevin Garden.

Wud Yorker or whatever that thing is.

Speaker 6 (19:40):
There we go, Alex, who is that? I told you

Speaker 3 (20:03):
What is the dog?

Speaker 1 (20:06):
The cartoon dog, Muttley or whatever, Mombley Montley.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
Here we go again, Muttley, Muttley, Alex, Alex, here's what
I need to laugh.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
I know the Motley Crew. No Muttley.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Here?

Speaker 12 (20:51):
Let's go Wolves back there?

Speaker 3 (20:53):
You go.

Speaker 12 (20:55):
Yo on this take?

Speaker 11 (20:56):
Honestly, like, as a lifelong Wolves sank and I think
any Minnesota fan will tell you KG is a goat.
Not so much for you know, performance when you talk
about like getting to all like Western Conference finals and stuff.
We had the one year with Freewell and Cassel.

Speaker 9 (21:13):
And it was magic.

Speaker 11 (21:14):
But I mean that guy represented the best of us
as far as Minnesota's Like how many times he would
bring out kids to his place in Long Lake and
just cook hot dogs for local basketball teams and stuff.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
Man, Like, I hope they will all beef those hot dogs.
I'm just saying, hey.

Speaker 12 (21:31):
Yo, I think when you look at a goat, as
far as like for the team, it's also what happens
in the community, and like KG put us on the map,
but he was also like ride or dive for our
community and ant with.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
The Batman and Man Superman.

Speaker 12 (21:48):
Wolves in five is great and we love it, but
we're not there yet.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
Thank you. All right, it's there, you go. I love that.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
What about what was it Josh and Durham? You're on
the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
What's up? Josh?

Speaker 9 (22:05):
Hey? What's up all you guys doing?

Speaker 3 (22:06):
Doing great?

Speaker 4 (22:07):
Brother?

Speaker 9 (22:09):
All right, I'm gonna make it quick. If anything, I
would have to agree a little bit more with Kelvin
than I do with with Rob. I actually probably more
agree with with Rob. G Rob, you're just talking about
you know the thing you say about pretty much everybody.
They didn't win anything. Well, that wasn't the question. That's
comparing them across the whole league. You have to compare

(22:31):
him to other Timberwolves players, which would put me on
the path. Though what Kelln was talking about, Rob, you
actually didn't even mention another player. So I don't know
how you're gonna say no to the question. But anyway, Kelvin,
you're saying that it's kg if. If what you guys
really care about is wins and how far a player
takes a team, then it has to be that's not.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
What the how does that determine anything? That doesn't determine
anything question.

Speaker 12 (22:55):
No, it's not Timberwolf.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
That's not somebody could numbers and never make the playoffs
and you would say no because I'm just asking you.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
No, I'm asking you and forgot.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
I'm asking you right now, if a guy had scored
the most points in Timberwolve's history right one is scoring
tied or whatever, and they didn't make the playoffs, so
they never got to the Western Conference final, he wouldn't
be the greatest Timberwolve.

Speaker 9 (23:21):
Not according to you.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
No, I'm asking you the player that has more wins. No,
it's not about just going further.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
I'm saying, if you have all those numbers, then you
could be considered that even though because maybe they weren't.
Maybe they didn't, you didn't have anybody else to go
along with you. But just getting to the Western conference
finals twice compared to once makes you the best player ever.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
That doesn't make sense to.

Speaker 9 (23:46):
Me, better than any of Kevin.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
Nobody counts individual win percentage. Stop that for me.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Stop that to me, Michael Jordans win percentage, you don't
know what it is.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
Stop it.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
That's a made up stat. His winning percentage is better
for one and for me, And.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
Come on, wins. No, That's why I said it's kg.
That's why the first call was more aligned with what
I was saying. Just in that, dude, dredat doesn't always
mean just wins. It meant what you meant to a city,
how you made people feel. And it's not just simply oh,
this person has gone to a one more Western Conference
final than somebody. And when you're talking about an organization,

(24:27):
it also embodies that what that person did and felt
for the organization. All right, NICKI k on the way

my girl, Nicki k Spectrum Network sports hosts and reporter.
You can follow her at Nikki k s N one Nikki,
what's up girl?

Speaker 7 (25:00):
Hey kel a long time note chat? How you doing?
How you doing?

Speaker 4 (25:03):
Rob?

Speaker 5 (25:03):
Or?

Speaker 7 (25:04):
The ViBe's good on a Friday?

Speaker 6 (25:05):
What are we feeling? No?

Speaker 3 (25:06):
They're bad? Are you kidding? Nikki? Be ready you to
say that, Nicky?

Speaker 6 (25:11):
Nicky, don't listen to that man. He's lying to you. Alex.
Tell her, show her how he sounded a few minutes
ago having the time of his life.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
Nicki.

Speaker 6 (25:24):
So you know it's been a great Friday. He sided
like that, Nicki. Let's get to it.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
We could talk about the fact that the Lakers are
down too old, but I think coming out of that game,
and Rob and I talked about in the first hour,
the big conversation is you got I don't know, they
had a Laker convention with the referees at half court.
You got JJ Reddick going off postgame. You got the
entire internet talking about the flopping thunder. Give me your
takeaway from Yeah, they lost, but a lot of people

(25:50):
are upset with how the game was officiated.

Speaker 7 (25:53):
It was it was really interesting. I felt like there
was no rhythm whatsoever. The Lakers, you know, had that
one point lead after the second quarter going into half time,
and then all of a sudden in the third quarter,
it was just like it was junkie and it felt
like a lot the whistles were really tight on the
Lakers side, and then you know, you see Lebron, who

(26:15):
JJ did say is like has been one of the
worst officiated guys in the league at superstars in the
league because he barrels towards the bucket and and you know,
he goes through a lot, And I think there is
something to be said about the bigger trend. You know,
the smaller guards can react to you know, contact a
little bit more visibly, but you got a freight train,

(26:37):
a mac truck like Bron, and you know the contact
doesn't seem as demonstrable. So yeah, the officiating, I mean,
that's always going to be a talking point. But you
know what bottom line is the Oklahoma City Center are inevitable.
And even if the Lakers had all the whistles going
their way, even if they had Luka Doncic, I don't

(26:59):
I don't know how much of a series this could
even be.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
It's worse than that, Nikki, come on, like, it's just
the referees are terrible.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
It makes it unwatchable.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
But now everybody now we know why no one likes
the OKC Thunder. It's just it's brutal with all the
whistles and they get all the calls and defensively they're
grabbing people and they get away with stuff and they're flopping.
I mean, what an awful watch. Who wants to watch
basketball like that? People say, why don't the Thunder get loved?

(27:29):
They got this young organic team and SGA is a
great young guy and all this other stuff.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
It's a bad watch, Nikki.

Speaker 7 (27:38):
But Rob then I'll I'll point you on the convers
and say, okay, when you've got Jared McCain drilling series
and you've got aj Mitchell showing up, when you know, like,
when you've got them like they can trut out five
guys as their second string who would be starters anywhere
else in the NBA, and to see the way they've
all sacrificed their ego to become part of this collective

(27:58):
unit and which missing the majority of the third quarter,
I mean like that. Also, on the other hand, I
get it, I get what you're saying, but they're playing
to the league's rules. So I don't think it's a
Thunder issue. I think it's an NBA. It's a league issue.
It's an officiating issue. Shake Gill. Just Alexander is playing
to what the rest are giving him. And you know,

(28:19):
it's the same same thing James Harden leaned into. And
and also on another hand, like sha Shay can go
off and he's automatic and can't miss just as much
as he can get to the free throw line. So
I don't if anything, they're they're they're they're playing to
the rules, not you know, bending them.

Speaker 6 (28:39):
You know, Nikki, you used to cover the Thunder. Help
me understand.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
Sam Presty, we obviously talked about the files and the
file merchants and all that good stuff, but they have
been He's just done his job great for the last
ten to fifteen years.

Speaker 6 (28:51):
And what is it that either makes what is he
looking for? What type of player?

Speaker 5 (28:56):
Like?

Speaker 4 (28:56):
Why has he been able to get guys no one
else saw bring in free agents, don't know saw draft guys.
Who's this guy and that ends up being a stud
How what is he what is he looking for?

Speaker 6 (29:05):
What does he see?

Speaker 7 (29:07):
Well, first of all. He came up through the San
Antonio you know, cone of cone of silence, cone of
you know, meticulousness.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Right.

Speaker 7 (29:15):
So, and this man is as obsessive as any great
ever is, right And like we see if up close
and personal, how JJ Reddick calls himself a sicko. I
think Sam Presty would would kind of identify along the
same lines. And you look at his history and bringing
in a Kevin Durant, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and obviously

(29:35):
he was maligned for you know, the trade that sent
James Harden packing and then Kevin Durant leaves. But he
has tried to retool time and time again this this
franchise that on paper, you know, how are you going
to get superstars to stay in Oklahoma City? And he
brought in Paul George, he brought in Carmelo Anthony of

(29:56):
all people. And what he has been able to identify,
I think in this iteration of his you know kind
of ability to scout talent is finding the personality now
that doesn't demand, that doesn't demand the superstar treatment. And
he found a Shay first and foremost. He brings in

(30:17):
a chet who's kind of like a wemby light, if
you will, and then he found all these athletic pieces
to go along and fill out this roster, and and
for it's guys that are willing to sacrifice their minutes
and really just want to win. So I think if
you look at this iteration of Sam Presty's time as

(30:39):
a GM, he's probably learned a little bit more not
just about the length and athleticism and guys that he loves,
but about the ego and lack thereof that it takes
to really put together a winning a winning culture in
Oklahoma City.

Speaker 6 (30:57):
I want to go to the Lakers real quick.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
Lastly, is there any chance anything you would do any
any way to salvage this this series if possible now
that it's coming back to LA.

Speaker 7 (31:08):
Here's what I have to say. I think JJ Reddick
is coaching his tailoff, and I think Laker fans, I'm
going to deflect what the question you just you just
asked me and just say, like, we got to appreciate
every minute we're saying Lebron James out there and what
he's able to do at forty one. And it's also
really cool kind of recognizing I sat down with JJ

(31:30):
at the start of the season and he talked to
me about Luca, you said, Lebron, and then he's like,
you know, I believe Austin Reeves is one of the
greatest offensive players on the planet. And I kind I
almost scoffed when he said that. And you know what, though,
Austin's value to this team and what he's been able
to do as an undrafted player in the league. And yeah,
he's coming back from an injury, so he kind of

(31:52):
had to shoot himself out of the slump that we
saw him in from, you know, coming in the middle
of the round in Houston in Game one against OKAC.
But I think I think we just appreciate, appreciate what
this is and look for the really really appreciate the
Lakers defensive efforts because they did a good job frustrating

(32:13):
Shay in Game one. Their game plan is stout.

Speaker 6 (32:16):
It's just, uh, you know, they're too much to handle.

Speaker 4 (32:20):
They are and that could be for ninety five percent
of the teams in the league. Maybe set for the Spurs. Oh, Nicki,
we got to end it there. Appreciate you as always,
have a great weekend.

Speaker 6 (32:30):
Out happy Friday, all right, Thank you, NICKI for that.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
On the way.

Speaker 6 (32:39):
Never in his life as you've been happy.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
Uh, there may be a pushback to a date to
a big fight and could be proof that maybe some
people ain't checking for We'll explain what we mean.

like the first little John you know what I mean,

(33:41):
More like scream and chant and kind of get you going,
like not necessarily ain't listening for like lyrical thing, just
a feel and like, hey, get you on the dance floor.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Yeah, oh yeah, he's an entertainer all the way around,
no doubt. What I said to do us in life
was to see him perform.

Speaker 6 (33:59):
What did he say about the lunch table and something?
What's the we were talking the other day the song
you said?

Speaker 3 (34:04):
He said, in a hard role? What a hard role?

Speaker 9 (34:08):
Right?

Speaker 3 (34:09):
We found it out? Yeah, that was it.

Speaker 6 (34:12):
Hey, all right, got to have that hard role. Yeah,
you gotta have that.

Speaker 4 (34:15):
Well, nobody knows what New Yorkers. So let's get into
this rob g the fight that's supposed to be out
of a super fight Paki Mayweather PAQA Part two.

Speaker 5 (34:27):
Some news about that, Yeah, not the kind of news
that we want to hear, because we know the guy
who all put it together, our friend of the showy
from Salam him and his production company helped put together
a rematch with he Mayweather and Packia to take place.
You got insurance on that Mexican American Independence Day weekend,
which is a huge fight weekend. If you anything about
the fight game, it's always singing a mile. And then

(34:47):
that went in September and it was going to take
place that weekend at the sphere. Will we find out
today it's been reported that the fight has been pushed
back to the week after and it's no longer going
to be at the Sphere, It's going to be at
the T Mobile Arena down the street.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
And you know what that means. What's that they ain't
selling tickets?

Speaker 1 (35:05):
You can't you can't turn the lights on at that place,
you know what I mean, like the electric bill, Like
there's got to be a certain So that's why they
got out of there. They probably weren't selling enough tickets.
You know, they need to get into a smaller venue
like a UFL team. You know what I mean, you
just don't sold enough.

Speaker 6 (35:25):
What you have. You're just compared it to the UF
and now you gotta stop. You have to be stopping
you nothing in life? Was that funny rhyme? What UFL
team is crazy?

Speaker 5 (35:39):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (35:40):
Yeah, what I'm just saying there now sellingick rob g Am?
I right, that's why they move out of a vent like.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
Yeah, the price of what you'd have to pay, Rob
g I mean, when you think of the YouTube concert,
what was it they did like a play there or
something like that.

Speaker 6 (35:53):
It wasn't just a musical.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
As a Wizard of when I was in Las Vegas.
Everybody said, Rob, see the Wizard of Oz. That's my
favorite movie. Whatever, I want to go buy a ticket.
It was like two hundred and fifty dollars. As much
I loved The Wizard of Oz, Guess what, who wasn't
paying two hundred fifty dollars to see it?

Speaker 7 (36:10):
Me?

Speaker 4 (36:11):
I ain't gonna lie, Rob, that was pretty That was
pretty cheap of you. I ain't gonna lie.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Two hundred and fifty dollars.

Speaker 6 (36:16):
That's pretty cheap.

Speaker 4 (36:17):
In twenty twenty, the year of our Lord savor A
twenty twenty six, I'm not paying paint that bad.

Speaker 6 (36:21):
I thought you were gonna say like seven to fifty,
didn't you think, Rob.

Speaker 3 (36:23):
G I'm not paying two hundred fifty dollars.

Speaker 6 (36:25):
I'm sorry see this.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
I know you've already seen it since nine eighty, but
I've seen it more like two hundred times.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
Am I gonna you're spoiled?

Speaker 6 (36:33):
The spear is a whole different thing, man.

Speaker 4 (36:36):
I thought you're gonna say, and it ain't like you
gotta do two fifty for like five people or something.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
It's two fifty. It's uh, it's seventy five dollars for popcorn.
It's forty two dollars large dolls I would.

Speaker 6 (36:49):
Pay for me.

Speaker 4 (36:51):
I would go pay two fifty to see a play.
I pay two fifty to go see outcasts, see.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
A movie from to see a movie from nineteen thirty nine.

Speaker 5 (37:00):
You're not just seeing the movie. It's like the whole experience.
You pay for that at the sphere. Yeah, yeah, you
throw real apples at you. I don't want to be
it now.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
You don't want to get caught in the actual tornado.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
No, I mean two hundred and fifty dollars, that's what
you're paying for.

Speaker 6 (37:19):
A Yeah, Alex, I figured it out. Rob G.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
He don't want those real, live monkey flying things coming
at you.

Speaker 5 (37:24):
Now.

Speaker 6 (37:24):
You gets scared. That's what it is.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
That's the part that scared me enough.

Speaker 6 (37:28):
It's too live for him. Robb G.

Speaker 4 (37:31):
He figured it out that he saw some stuff on
YouTube like, wait, the real money.

Speaker 6 (37:34):
Back in the crowd running around.

Speaker 3 (37:36):
I'm not trying.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
I'm not trying to have that monkey tail touched me
in the back of my head or something.

Speaker 6 (37:40):
I'll be like, yeah, yeah, you you that's what it is.
That's what you look.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
But yeah, I think I think that not only the
size of the Sphere more so what you have to
pay for the Sphere because it's such a unique experience.
So people probably, oh, yeah, I'll go see it and
then I'll get like Rob said, I'll get one hundred
and fifty dour ticket. It's a one hundred and two
And the Sphere minimum is probably so high because of
what it is and what it costs and what the
experience is.

Speaker 6 (38:03):
I imagine people were like, now I'm not paying that.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
You were looking at a minimum of a thousand dollars a seat.

Speaker 4 (38:07):
See, that's what I'm saying because a boxing match these guys.

Speaker 1 (38:10):
But if it was worth it, if you really thought
those guys were worth seeing again, But people are like, this.

Speaker 6 (38:16):
Was fifteen years ago. It would sellout.

Speaker 4 (38:18):
Yes, it had been the hottest ticket of the year
for sure, but not being that and what guys are.

Speaker 1 (38:23):
Nobody wants to pay for an old timers game. Okay,
that's what it is. It's an old timers game. No
the Big Three.

Speaker 6 (38:31):
Of boxing, your favorite movie of all time?

Speaker 3 (38:33):
Go, I'd rather get a box see at the UFL game.
How about that
