minutes old in polonies, former NBA Vet, Fox Sports Radio,

(01:43):
NBA analysts and of course trash talking. So we got
a lot to get to our number two and Rob
g This was probably the weirdest story we ever saw,
fact when it comes to the NFL.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
Yeah, this is bizarre, and we've seen some crazy stories
this year.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
You know, you got gambling in the NBA. I don't know,
it's not a really a story.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
You've got the US goalkeeper kicking the grass instead of
the ball. You know that was embarrassing. This story is
just weird. I can't think of a better way of
describing it. So ESPN Seth Wickersham, who does great journalism nowadays,
if there's any guy left in sports media who does journalism,
Seth Wickersham's like right at the top of the.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
List shot Seth, what about me?

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Oh good, yeah, no, it's okay.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
So, so Seth was embedded with the Broncos during their season,
not last year, the year before, right during the to
be around Seth, Sean Payton and follow the team they
had just got rid of Russell Wilson took that massive
cap hit.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
How are they going to respond?

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Right?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
And that was the big conversation.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
So in his profile, Seth Wickersham dropped this nugget that
has everybody raising their eyebrows.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
All right, here's what he sunds gonna read it verbatim.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
Sean Payton and Bill Belichick go back decades forged by
mutual respect and mutual trauma for working on Bill Parcells.
When Belichick and the Patriots are divorced in twenty twenty four,
Peyton considered presenting Broncos own owner Greg Penner a proposal
for the Ages hired Belichick as the head coach until

(03:14):
he reached fifteen wins enough to break Don Shula's career
record three forty seven. Peyton would temporarily step down an assistant
coach and run the offense, then moved back to head
coach after Belichick became the all time leader in the end, though,
it was too complicated and maybe too fanciful.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
That's the stupidest thing I've heard, and I've heard some
stupid stuff since I've been on this show. Let me
this is what I mean. Where people get too wild
and crazy and for themselves, Sean Payton, this is not
a pee wee football league that you pay to be
the coach of and you own in some local community
where like I can do what I want. I'm gonna
put my guy in there. Yo, this is my boy
right here. He's a good coach. I'm gonna throw him in.
I'm gonna go sit on the side. I'll come back

(03:52):
in a year and have two years or so. This
is the NFL. And what do we say The NFL
stands for not for long robs. The average coach coach
is three seasons at best three seasons is the average?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
There?

Speaker 4 (04:05):
So the idea that he was just gonna sit on
the sideline until he won fifteen more games. What if
it took him three to four year, What if it
team sucks? What if they went three and fourteen? And
you know what I mean, You're gonna sit there for
season after season. The idea that you would even do that,
as if you're not You've you've win a super Bowl
winning coach, you've got respect within the league. Why would
you even do that and play the NFL as if

(04:26):
it's a game. I'm gonna just go sit over here,
be an assistant coach. And if I'm the Broncos, I'm
offended that you even bring this to me, Rob because
I'm like, bruh, this isn't the reverse. You're not Bill
Belichick in New England twenty something years, five six super bowls,
where it's like, oh, you're this established guy. You just
got here with the Broncos. You just got here. This

(04:47):
is year two with you. We even got rid of
Russell Wilson's seventy something million dollars for you, and now
you want to play some musical chairs. We'rema move over here,
and then when he gets the wins, I'll bounce back.
And that's a fa to me if I was a player, Dude,
we talk about all this time, everybody thinks of a
Tom Brady or emmittt. Smith that these guys who've had

(05:08):
these long careers. Dude, the average player careers like three
years or so, three and a half years mean, and
I ain't got time for you to be switching coaches.
Who's this different systems, different programs. I'm trying to succeed
so I can have a career and make money and
provide for my family and have as long as career
as possible. See the idea that you're gonna play around
and switch coaches and come back, that's just crazy.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
I can't even believe it.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
The audacity of him again, who was not somebody who'd
been with the Broncos for a long extended amount of time.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Stupid, dumb, and I can't even believe that.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
The I might, you know, I might have went full
Rob Parker and if he came up to me, were
out golfing or something, he said, I got an idea, Owner,
what if I sit to the side, fired as soon
as he came Now, fired because you're not taking it
seriously enough for me that you would come with the
idea that a guy I'm not even familiar with like
that I gave you the keys of this this franchise.

(06:00):
You want to go sit down, let him win fifteen games,
and then I'll bounce back mack it out. I would
have went forull Rob Parker and fired, and right on
the golf course or at the dinner or wherever he
brought that idea to me.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
This should come as no surprise. Another half baked idea
from Sean Payton, the author of bounty Gate. Do you
remember bounty Gate with the Saints. Let's put a slush
front of money together and have our players go out

(06:30):
and try to hurt other people playing on the other team.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
How about that? You thought that was ridiculous and terrible.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
You remember Sean Payne got suspended, the league told him
to cut it out, like two or three times, kept
doing it. They went from two thousand and nine doing
that to twenty twelve.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Idea.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Can you imagine other players buying into the eye. Nobody
said to Sean Payton, Dude, we want to win the game.
Why would I want to hurt and stop somebody's career
and possibly injure them.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Really, and now this preposterous idea.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
There would be phony anyway, And I don't think people
would have recognized it.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
I really don't.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
I think people would have said, this is a farce,
this is prefabricated, It ain't real. Sean Payton still the
coach that got Bill Belichick standing there so that he
can get some his needed wins and passed Don Shuler
and act like he's winning his coach in the NFL.
Thank god nobody went along with this trash. It tells

(07:42):
you about Sean Payton, though. I mean, that's just like
the idea of the league. But I'm glad you use
that word disrespectful. He's disrespectful to Russell Wilson. He had
a personal thing against Russell Wilson for whatever reason. The
guy did go to two Super Bowls and win one
and now this again disrespectful to the players. He did

(08:06):
it to Russell Wilson, to the players in bounty Gate,
and we're not talking about paper towels. And now the
coaching ranks. He was gonna soil the coaching ranks by
propping up Bill Belichick. Sean Payton, why didn't you pick
your nine year old son and let him be the
head coach? Cause it would be the same thing. People

(08:27):
would be what is this a joke that the league
probab wouldn't even allowed it? Come on, dude, no, Sean Payton,
you have fire Sean Payton and hired Bill Belichick. Now
maybe I'll buy into it. You're fired how's that?

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Come on? You know what else, it's weird too.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
Everybody has, you know that friend who like overly indebted
to somebody that's too too much defference to him, like
I'm indifference, like I owe him this, he did this.
No no, no, no, no, that's just your man's and that's
your older brother. You know, you're big homie or whatever,
but like, dude, you're you're grown man. You've won the
super Bowl. No, no, no, I you could admire Bill

(09:03):
Belch me like, but it's some weird everybody like that.
That Again, everybody has that friend or that family and
they just feel like they owe him to the rest
of their life. I owe them this, or they always
are bigger than me, they're they're you know, they they
sun me, or like I gotta any time I can,
I gotta make sure they're in a great position.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
And I feel like it's that like.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
Some weird oh my, some weird indifference like I owe
him this, like I he he did something for me,
because that just logically doesn't make sense, like if anything,
you know, maybe he's your elder statesman. He wants to
look out for you. I want to get you in position,
I want to help you out or something. The idea
that you're doing this for him, it's just weird. And
again I keep thinking, I go back to the players,

(09:40):
rob because I look at it as the players of Like, dude,
it is hard as heck to win in the NFL. Right,
you can even be not a bad team, but have
a few bad players and now your season is terrible.
And the idea that we're just going to keep changing systems,
changing coaches, changing ideologies and philosophies, and just so he
can do this for a year and a.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Half and it might have been too three years. You never
know them.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
Guarantee you win fifteen games in a year or two,
he might be three years. Shoot, you've seen teams be
terrible for a few So just the idea that you
would do that. Like what kind of least did he
think he had with the Broncos?

Speaker 2 (10:12):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (10:12):
Working about Heyo, I'm a chill over here for two
three years or something, and then I pop back up
and then when you need me, I'm gonna be over
here to refrigerators pull me out.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Like what what kind of what kind of least does
he know? What does he know? On the Broncos owners
that he can just have them, you know.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Have play his war game like it's like it's his team, like.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
He don't know it at dead Bodies. Hey, do me
this favorite because you owe me that. I'm gonna go
sit over here for a few years. That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Did they win four Super Bowls? That I forgot about it?
And that's what I'm saying. Belichick was doing this.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
It makes sense, ay man, Okay, after twenty some years,
can you do me a silid Okay, not that he should,
but you at least would go Okay, I can see
that you just got here the year before and you
already got one. Want to do these types of things
makes no sense to me.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Rob G. You have thought as a third voice because
we both disagree, you see anything to this or you're
preaching to the choir. I would love to hear people
think that this is possibly a good thing for Bill
Belichick and for football.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
There cannot be a single person think this is good
for Bill Belichick or for football.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
It would have looked bad.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
It's embarrassing for.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Even bring this up, even pitch this idea, and I.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
Don't Again, we don't know how far along this idea
got But if Bill Belichick knew about it and was
cool with the idea of Sean Payton presenting it with
the owner to the owner, then shame on Bill Belichick.
Two because for you to have, even though it's tainted
in some ways, arguably the single greatest coaching career in

(11:45):
all of sports, and right because it's harder to win
in football than it is in the NBA. I think
we can all agree on that, Like, there's a reason
why if you win one super Bowl you're a made
man God. For me, doude want six of them? Right,
I'm not even counting as a coordinator. And for you
to find a way or to be okay with becoming
the all time wins leader in such a cheap fashion

(12:07):
would be I'm not gonna say it's as bad as
bounty gearing as a spy gating the flay Gate, but
it's just like it would taint everything about him and
his legacy even more so than this unc debacle.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
I agree.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
Why would he want to look that desperate? You just
mentioned it went through without the down shoeler record. Most
people look at Bill Belichick as the greatest coach or
at least in the mix why we know. But the
idea that you would be looking so desperate, it doesn't
make sense because you don't need that.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Like, if I'm this girlfriend, out of this okay, Dn,
we ain't even talked about her in a minute. Now
what she's doing now she's still around her, she she'll
be yelling us some money didn't run out.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
I guess she could yell at somebody.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
Soon, but I just yeah, the desperation that it reeks
of is what makes it weird to me, because it
was not. It wasn't even like why would he have
why would you want to do that? And then why
would Bill Belichick need that?

Speaker 7 (12:56):
Do?

Speaker 4 (12:56):
You were highly regarded? You are who you are legacy wise,
you don't need those wins. That is not that important.
Sure it'd be a great notch on the belt, but
you don't need it, all right. It is the odd
couple on a trash talking two.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
They don't forget in about twenty thirty minutes, trash talking
will behind your way. But do you believe what Luka
Doncon said about Lebron James. We'll get to that next.
It is the odd couple Rob Parker Kelvin Washington on
a trash talking Tuesday right here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Stick and stay.

Speaker 8 (13:33):
If you also think US men's national soccer team should
probably not play anymore.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
In the US BAND, well they definitely not for four
more years at least, all right, so check it out,
speaking of the world's biggest soccer tournament is still going on,
by the way, it's still going on.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
It's still heating up in the States.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
And calshi you can trade every match from the knockout
rounds all the way to the final. And the Argentinians
had a historic three to two comeback today over Egypt
that was amazing. And now Argentina is currently training at
nineteen percent to win the tournament, meaning one hundred dollars
trade pays out five hundred and thirty seven if they
can win it off.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Should I make that trade? LEXI? I don't know. He's
not big on Argentina right now.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
On calshi, you're trading to get spears in a live market,
meaning there's no house and as the probability changes. This
is what's cool about it. You can buy in and
out of your positions, so check it. For a limited
time download the Caushi app. Use code odd odd to
get twenty dollars when you trade twenty. That's code ODD
to get twenty dollars when you trade twenty. Calshi klshi

(14:31):
calshi trade on anything.

Classic beat Nuts, A couple, Rob Parker kelvin Washington. It
is a trash Talking Tuesday which is coming up in
about twenty twenty five minutes or so, looking forward to
that olden polonies getting ready to join us as well.
So we still got a lot left in this hour
and every day. Truck and bus drivers are out there
keeping America moving and working to keep our road safe.

(15:53):
But large and heavy vehicles don't stop like cars. They
need more time and a lot more space. So remember,
stay back, stay safe. America's pros rely on you. Paid
for by fmcs A Robji Luka was showing some love
to one of his friends, Joker and Uh in a
proposed tournament.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
If you will, Yeah, showing love to one friend and
may have disrespected another. Let you guys decide, all right,
So Luca, you know making the rounds internationally, right. Jordan
Brand doing a lot of promo tours, asking a lot
of questions, and one of the reporters, I guess, did
a quick hey two on two setting, who's your ideal teammate?

(16:33):
And he goes down the list. He goes Shay Gilgo,
Alexander Nikol Jokic, Nikola Jokic, and he goes down list Wenber, Jokic, Jogic,
Jiannis Yoki, Jokic, Lebron or Jokic. Jokic didn't even think
twice about it. Now eventually he goes down the list.
Jokic your bird, he takes bird bird or Jordan takes Jordan.
That's how it ends. But how do you feel about

(16:56):
Luka Doncic, no hesitation saying in a two one two
set and give me the joker over the king all
day every day.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
I don't feel any type of way.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
That's his man's they're actually very good friends and obviously
he's new friends with Lebron, but that's that's his homie
and not to mention jokers incredible and especially in the
two on two setting.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
I think that was a loaded question, rob G. You
left out a word in there, was that washed king?

Speaker 4 (17:19):
And then that's why he might be having some Yeah,
maybe he wasn't thinking all time, like everybody's twenty eight
year right.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
And Lebron's forty two years are you're asking me that
he's a wash king?

Speaker 4 (17:29):
No, h a wash king? Yeah, that's what you got
on washs right now? You got on your magicity Monday
jeans right now?

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Whatever?

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Where where's miss Mary Mack when I need her?

Speaker 4 (17:40):
You're always talking about you have on your h What
should be calling you when you wear your stuff? It's
just sugar daddy pants and all that. But I'm not
mad at that. But it made me think, Rob g
and you can jump in on this. You know who
you know ball, Rob Park and everybody. I mean, who
who are you taking two on two? Like if you're
designing a two on two, everybody's twenty eight and they're
you know, they're prime whatever, thirty and you're creating this

(18:00):
two on two team to beat anybody.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
With anybody or just with Luca because he's the guy
being asked these ques.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
I'm taking Luca out of it, so.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
It's not Luca and whoever. It's just No, I'm not
taking Lebron. At to say, I'm not taking Lebron.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
No, I'm saying, let's say they're all twenty eight, meaning
like they're Pete. But that's not what the question was.
Taking Lebron right now, Rob nobody, Lebron ain't taking Lebron.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
That's why the question isn't that ridiculous or that foul, right.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
But Larry Bird ain't playing right now, so he was
doing it under the assumption of your all time Yeah,
all time, if you had all time players, who's your teammate.
That's why he ended up with Jordan, because he went
through the list, got to Larry Bird, took Bird over Joker,
got to Jordan, took Jordan over Bird.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Well, he was wearing a pair of Jordan's so that's
pretty obvious.

Speaker 4 (18:42):
He was at the Jordan, which, by the way, he
is Jordan. It's not like he's wearing a pair of
Steph Curry. So he took Curry over Cory's shoes. He's
got the archives of what got now he's a Japanese company,
got anta answer four hundred million dollars ron. They's basically
just paid him because none of us are going to
see the shoes.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
No, no, it's just ridiculous like companies. Okay, yeah, he's huge.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
And he'll be selling a bunch of shoes there. But
and you ain't gonna walk to the grove out here.
See nobody answers.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Only a deer might have antos.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
That was good. I on the fly out, I.

Speaker 6 (19:21):
Take another us a game over there.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
So the next time you call Alex and Fluff, remember this.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
You gotta eaven it out. Okay, So listen, Steph Curry
missus a free throw over hewin.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
You particular for comedy, Yeah, college shows. I think you
need to get back on stage.

Speaker 6 (19:43):
Do it please?

Speaker 2 (19:43):
I told you you do it. I'll do it.

Speaker 6 (19:44):
You and Kate open for you. You'll sound better.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
See there you go. That was definitely a good one
right there, Alex.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
I appreciate that they'll be like yeah after that. You know,
you just don't want to take anything now.

Speaker 5 (19:58):
Whoever you get for your open has to be very
clean humor because you're gonna get so dark and it's like,
we can't have two dudes back to back like that.

Speaker 6 (20:06):
Oh my dark or get dark? You have you heard
Rob's comedy every Front?

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Well, we hear the cop. I don't know, would you
do that comedy stage?

Speaker 1 (20:13):
We hear the cop I did it in Vegas and rocks.

Speaker 8 (20:16):
So I want you to do a comedy special after
you're no longer doing radio.

Speaker 6 (20:22):
That's what I would love to hear you.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
That would be good.

Speaker 6 (20:24):
Uh huh to lose.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
I got something to lose. I'm not going to lose now.
I mean I guess no, I think you do. I
mean I enjoyed my paychecks. I'll take you radio show.
You got a website, you got a US Hall of Fame.

Speaker 6 (20:38):
Coach.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
They can't bring you back on the Marborough shop.

Speaker 5 (20:41):
You gotta yeah, And there's a lot of things Rob
deposit at the place that you live downtown night gone.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
I don't know, and abj membership with our first time
kicking someone out of the Hall of Fame. They about
to treat you like Pete Rose. They gonna have remnants
of you in the Hall of Fame, but not the whole.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
You give me Jordan and King by the way, give
me Kobe and Kevin Garnett.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
So Kevin Garnett, Jordan and Bird, Yeah you can, you could.
I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
You know who's Larry defending it?

Speaker 4 (21:15):
You might need a little size, I mean Bird is
you know that's the first of all. I'm never gonna
be mad at Jordan Byrn that's an incredible Offensively, you
might have the greatest.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Parents make it taken and you get the ball first.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
You might might win. Have the greatest they're making it
and you don't get the ball.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
With my ration up, Jordan and Jordan, and but I'm
like Jordan king Gard now he's struggle with an Iverson
type Wight, like a smaller guard Steph Curry.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
That's why I didn't go with Shaq.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
Yeah, because if the other teams got a fast sha
can't stepping three feet past the ring.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
But also if it's make it and then we might
never lose. That's why we're dream He can guard Shack
Shack go Shack, but he can guard him and then
if it was some other like if it were Dirk
or something bird he can see can stick with him enough.
So I guess Jordan and the King were my that
was my I feel like I got all covered jump shots,
post ups, defense, but.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
I I don't know. I don't think Luca and Lebron
had any kind of relationship.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
They both speak highly of each other. They've been so
they've been, I don't think so. Years ago when he
was coming up, Lebron was a big fan. He was
tweeting and all this.

Speaker 5 (22:16):
He tried to sign him to be the official, the
first shoe guy under the Lebron umbrella. Yeah, Jordan has
his brand. It was going to be the Lebron brand,
and he wanted Lucas. Yeah, he's been Team Lucas Lucas like.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Nah, fam of going to the Jordan brand, he said, yeah,
I don't want my sneakers on the discount of Rocket.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
I was just an outlet.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
I've seen them there too, and all the Lebron sneakers?
Who is did you have any current sales?

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Who?

Speaker 4 (22:41):
Who's who is Kyrie? Like, who's the if Jordan's moved
him away over there?

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Right?

Speaker 1 (22:45):
We know he's goded choose wise and player, but Katie's
pretty high up. Katy okay Lebron. I mean Kyrie doesn't
have this shooting now he's with the antitoo.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Oh yeah, well I remember his were big. A lot
of his were big. Yeah, a lot of things. So
who is it?

Speaker 4 (23:00):
Is it?

Speaker 5 (23:00):
I guess KD people like the loss for a while. Jah, Yeah,
he had something for a while. Nobody wears the Honises
stuff a lot, and.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
That's why Nike's in trouble.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
You've ever heard somebody say, man, then me go grab himianis.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
Yo? The yo? That was?

Speaker 4 (23:21):
That was like back in the day, you came up
with the wrong shoes one of those The is crazy
just the way that sounds.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
But you're to your point.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Nike is Nikes and taking the They're taking a major
hit big time.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
What is it is a design? These kids, the kids
like the other stuff. They're wearing the A six now
they're wearing the on clouds.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
The kids are wearing hulking kids are wearing they don't
have money for two hundred and fifty dollars sneakers. Yeah,
just I mean those other sneakers don't cost that much.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
They're calling it.

Speaker 4 (23:52):
They're called fifty yeah, I know. And they're they're wearing
a bunch of other stuff. Now that's it's like the
cool what I'm saying. Money has a lot to do
with it.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Like people, people don't aren't trying to spend two hundred
and fifty dollars like the whole even like Travis Scott
Market in the all resale, that's all that that's fallen
by the wayside.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
There used to be a big was it was a
great hell.

Speaker 4 (24:10):
A lot of teenagers made a bunch of money off
there all right on the other side, Olden Polinice will
chop it up with him right now.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Steve is Sager getting you updated.

you want to get in now you can eight seven
seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven ninety nine
on Foxes to number The call to get in right now,
joined by our man Olden Polinice Form, NBA VET, Fox
Sports Radio NBA analysts Old and what up?

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Man?

Speaker 7 (24:47):
Hey fellows, how y'all doing good?

Speaker 1 (24:49):
How are you?

Speaker 7 (24:50):
I'm wonderful as always.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
You kept up with the World Cup it all of course.
I am.

Speaker 7 (24:55):
Oh my god, Hey, I'm upset right now.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Man, Come on, set, Why are you upset like the
rest of us.

Speaker 7 (25:01):
I'm Shenanigan's going on man, Argentina, Come on, man, Egypt
got robbed.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
What you're saying though, you can't score three runs in
like thirteen three three goals in thirteen fifteen, got rob Man.

Speaker 7 (25:15):
That was not a freaking penalty, man, that was and
it's like what seventeen seconds after the fact. Come on, man,
I like that VR, but it's foul when you're gonna
use it. In that capacity.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
That was wrong. What about America? What about the America?

Speaker 7 (25:30):
I knew, I knew we were going to get our
bust up. Man, the minute FIFA rescinded that red flag,
I knew we're going to get blasted because Belgium was
on a mission to show them.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
So they were pissed.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
They were pissed around.

Speaker 7 (25:43):
So but you know what, I you know, the funny thing,
your boy came out. Yeah, you know, I called fee
for to let him know. Hey, they got to take
a look at that.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
Yeah, and they said he's the reason older than wrong.
They said when he showed up for the next day lost.
That was the only time they lost, like forty days.
They said, he showed up for America.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
We lost. That's what the streets are saying, Olden, you know.
And he showed up at my wedding as well.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
And look, I got divorced in five.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
At least you got five out of it.

Speaker 11 (26:13):
Yeah, I got.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
I got the ziggy as well. I'm just saying, there
you go, you got Kelvin. Don't let him keep him away.
It's gonna go in the id. Keuple.

Speaker 4 (26:27):
Let me give him away real quick. Hey, let's get
to some hoops. Man, it's been we had to eat
from on earlier. I see the same question.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Just go ahead, go ahead, right, I'm gonna say, Olden,
I think the players Union and everything, I think they
got fleeced. Because we don't have free agency anymore. People
are dumping contracts. They're like, nope, we don't want We're
not paying these people. We're not paying these guys. It
looks like it's been a reverse for the NBA players

(26:55):
and and and the non movement and you can't go anywhere.
And Jalen Brown gets dump because they don't want to
pay the extension.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
You know what I mean, they don't work. Yeah, Like
to me, it feels like it's over. It is.

Speaker 7 (27:10):
And you made a great point. The Player Associates did
get fleece, but that's always been the case with the
Player Association. I mean from when I played, even beforehand.
We tried to get it right. But there was a
coup and they got rid of Billy Hunter. You know,
I'm sorry, not Billy Hunter. Charlli Grantham. When Charlie Grantham

(27:30):
was in there, Charlie Grantham had the players set up
ready to just sit out the whole season because he
had to deal with Nike that was gonna just pay guys,
you know, salaries until you know the strike was over.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
But these guys had a coup and they got.

Speaker 7 (27:46):
Rid of them. And so to me, it's always been
the case. There's always been a leak within the player
association and it has never changed. So they're never going
to be right because you know, no one's gonna have
the uh no fortitude to say, hey, let's just sit out.
You know how baseball does.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
We don't give it that they missed the World Series.
They're like, what, okay, you.

Speaker 7 (28:07):
Don't give it? And I said that so many times,
fellas if you'll stop playing doing the finals, what do
you think the NBD is gonna do?

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Imagine the Super Bowl?

Speaker 1 (28:18):
We we said it and we've done it here on
this show a million times. NFL as much money as
that league makes, they have terrible healthcare, terrible pension plan.
And until you stop the games, olden, you'll never have
any left.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
They keep adding.

Speaker 7 (28:33):
Game, right, Yeah, they keep adding game. That's funny, but
that's shoot though. But that second apriln is kicking everybody's butt.
And also the fact that now we're getting the influx
of owners that are from corporate America. And so that's
another issue. Is a Chisholm in Boston, a man in Portland.
These guys are coming in like, Hey, I'm cutting this

(28:55):
man didn't want to give.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Our T shirts. Dude, that was crazy.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
That's going to cut into that's gonna cut it into your money.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
Got a coach sit there the whole entire season except
for two games when Chauncey was there, and then it
was like, NA, we're good, you can go now. Had
him over performing, made the postseason and everything.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Uh, let me ask you cause.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
He better on Chauncey in this situation.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
Dang, it's out out. Let me go to the Eastern
Conference right now?

Speaker 4 (29:19):
After the moves that we've seen so far, obviously a
lot of people say the big puzzle piece Lebron, what
happens there?

Speaker 2 (29:24):
But what do you make of the Eastern Conference? Is
still the Knicks?

Speaker 4 (29:26):
I mean, they lose Mitchell Robinson, you got all of
a sudden, Jalen Brown with the Sixers, you got Kawhi
if there in Toronto.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
What do you make of the Eastern Conference right now?

Speaker 7 (29:35):
I mean, the Knicks is still the team to beat.
It's always going to be the case, because that's all
you know until they you know, you defeat the champion,
that's who it is. And so I think it's an
upgrade from Mitchell Robinson, to be very honest with you,
you know, between he and Andre Drummonds. So that's if
it's not an upgrade, it's at least a watch. And
so to me, they the team to beat. But I

(29:58):
like what Philadelphia did Helen Brown getting him was insane.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
But again, the.

Speaker 7 (30:05):
Elephant in the room is inbed health. You know, is
he gonna stay healthy? And that's gonna be the case.
So if he stays healthy, I see Philadelphia really doing
some work. And if they happen to get you know who,
then they really gonna be in the mix for a title.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
All right, real quick, just where's gonna end up? We
got thirty seconds, where's Lebron gonna end up? With a
gut feeling, I.

Speaker 7 (30:27):
Only thought it would be a no brainer with the
with the Warriors because Draymond got out of his contract.
But logically I'm saying Cleveland because they've already said that
they're gonna give Brownie. They're holding a spot for Brownie,
So I think that's gonna be way he ends up.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Yeah, I mean logically that would makes it. That makes
go back home one more year. So on paper it
makes sense. All right, we'll see the excitement might be
somewhere else. Oh, appreciate you man, Thank you.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
All right, guys, no doubt all right.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
On the way, trash Talking Tuesday eight seven, seven ninety
nine on Fox Your chance to trash anybody anything. We'll
shut up and let you do it. That's next. It's
the ot Cup of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 4 (31:16):
Fox Sports Radio. Hey dj Ali Alex, I don't know
this one doing. It's the I Couple. Rob Parker, Kelvin Washington.
Shout out to Odin Polonies said a good time. We're
oh you can always get that on the podcast. And
for over forty years, tire Reck's been helping customers find
the right tires for how for one, for where they
drive ship fast and free back by free row has

(31:37):
a protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation
tire rec dot com. It is the way tire buying
should be without further ado. It's time for trash talking Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
Don't talk about me, it's it's trash talking Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
I don't know whether to smile.

Speaker 5 (32:01):
Let's see kick a field.

Speaker 7 (32:02):
Go man.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
I, let's get to it. Who we got, let's get
it kicked off.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Ted in Tahoe, you're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Who are you trash?

Speaker 1 (32:15):
And Ted?

Speaker 12 (32:17):
Oh Man, I got a couple of people in one
trash here and a shout out to Sea kelvin yesterday.
I just tuned in today, but shout out to yesterday
for a point out. Fisis corruption. But check this out,
as we saw in one of the five Knicks championship games,
you know, one to five and one of the US
men's runs towards the championship in the World Cup, when
the Orange Donald reared his head regarding that, regarding like

(32:40):
showing up at Madison Square Garden and corruptly influence too.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
FIVA.

Speaker 12 (32:45):
That's the two teams, that's the two worst performances of
those teams, and it's the only game the Knicks lost,
the only one that men team lost. So I think
we need a hashtag or a meme or something that
says like something about hashtag Trump effects or hashtag Trump Kurt,
and everybody should be sure to never let him anywhere
near whoever their beloved team is. Oh and by the way,

(33:07):
Cape Verde and he just both won. Argentina lost both
those games, but of course corrupt FIFA helped Argentina win.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
All Right, that is what Alex saying out here in
these streets.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
Antoine in Los Angeles, you're on the couple of Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
Oh you're trash and antswan.

Speaker 13 (33:25):
Obokkeel I got a trash. Both the basketball teams here
in Los Angeles.

Speaker 9 (33:30):
Let me tell you.

Speaker 13 (33:31):
About both the Lakers, the snow time Lakers.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
Let it go, let it know, let it know.

Speaker 13 (33:38):
They are not gonna be as good as they were
last year. I can guarantee you that. And with Lebron
walking away from the team, I could definitely tell you
how Laker fans feel. They're saying, do you need help
with your bags? Let me walk into the car. Do
you have a right to the airport?

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Wow?

Speaker 11 (33:56):
And and for the Clippers.

Speaker 13 (33:58):
For how short short they came up with Kawhi Leonards
and Paul George, Well, let me tell you this about
the Clippers. They had an opportunity when they went to
the conference finals against Phoenix and they had no Kawhi Leonard.
Why no, not because of his management, because of a
dirty freaking Joe Wingles taking out his meniscus. They had

(34:20):
the chance, that was their only chance, and it was
because of a dirty freaking Joe Ingles. They came up short.

Speaker 11 (34:26):
They still beat Utah without.

Speaker 13 (34:28):
Kawhi Leonards And that's why I got to talk to
Clippers because they still came up short.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
All right, all right, appreciate, appreciate any I don't know
he's on the team. But what about Chance in Alabama?

Speaker 1 (34:40):
You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio?

Speaker 2 (34:42):
Who are Chance?

Speaker 14 (34:45):
You know what, I'm gonna trash A gen Z and
all their talk about how soccer, how kids growing up
they're going to be switching to soccer. You know what
may happen to a few kids. But NFL is always
and will be God in this country, and it ain't
going nowhere, folks. I mean, I don't want to hear

(35:05):
about concussions and all that. It's where the money's at,
It's where the thing's at in this country. And as
Kings gen Z, you can keep on crossing your fingers
or whatever it is. I know what's third now. It
is third most popular sport. So you know, tip tip
tip my head to that.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
All right, you will never surpass NFL. All right, No
Tremaine in Arkansas? You're in the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
Who are you trashing Tremaine?

Speaker 11 (35:36):
Okay, guys, I'm just as irritated with Rich Paul and
Lebron and with Sean Payton and Bill better Check.

Speaker 14 (35:41):
You know why.

Speaker 11 (35:42):
It's the same thing. Two buddies thinking that their guy
is bigger than the lead. How dare you come out
with a white board?

Speaker 4 (35:50):
Oh you think you are?

Speaker 11 (35:51):
They ask you if the Knicks check, if the Knicks
wanted you?

Speaker 14 (35:54):
Oh they checked?

Speaker 11 (35:54):
Then you think you from old Black Sun. I want
to man, I ended the white Boy on my Twitter account.
I put the Big Three on that. You know what
I put on that? Well, you get some get back
from Beasley and you can get a roll on the
last Friday. You got oil, oil and golf and all
these other talking points on that. He made the micury
of the league. Man, I'm pat of them, sick of them.

(36:16):
I'm ready to go an.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Try out on my No doubt Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
What about Mace in San Diego? Now you're in the
odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. Who you trashing Mace?

Speaker 15 (36:29):
Okay, Guilgus Alexander for graciously gregiously ruining the NBA by
constantly flopping, you should be getting fined and suspended and
be exempt from the MVP award and mandatorially forced to
wear a skirt and book an appointment at Niel Salong's
getting your nails painted with Caleb Williams. Come tunted by
the fact you'll fall on seventeen point four of your shots,
which is the highest in the league. That is absolute
Bravo Sierra than for feminizing the sport, having said that

(36:52):
your initials actually stand for suspicious girly attributes. That's way
more suitable. You're caliber. Your style of play doesn't depress
me because you're a huge flo You crashing fall so
much you can call yourself the Big Bosper. You're nothing
but a fraud, another true winner who doesn't possess account
to win the game of chess against Bobby Fisher. There's
no chance you could absorb a punch from Kermit Washington.
It'd be so tragic because you couldn't get your dress

(37:13):
shopping done. We all know you're swaying and constantly facing
do us all favored go back to Kenada and overindulghing
you're Canadian bacon?

Speaker 1 (37:20):
Wow? All right, how about it?

Speaker 2 (37:23):
Can we squeeze in May in New Orleans? All right?

Speaker 1 (37:27):
We got time? I mean, I'm sorry MJ in New Orleans.
I'm sorry you're on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Who you trashing MJ about? Say Mace, MJ.

Speaker 16 (37:37):
I'm trashing the association. The governors are turning into one
and done college basketball and nil Dcason teams are drafting,
making trades and free agency. He's starting to feel like
Chuck when he plays who he plays for while they're
promoting the champions of championships the Southeast and Lakers, Jaylen

(37:57):
Brown getting booted to trust the process and playing Where's
Waldough when Lebron James is overkilled again?

Speaker 7 (38:04):
My care is fading fast?

Speaker 1 (38:06):
Stop it.

Speaker 16 (38:07):
You guys have a great show man.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Thanks for taking me a doubt.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
Please appreciate you who we got. We got.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
Woman went through everybody. I went through everybody, all right,
shout to everybody anyone wants to trash you, I think
I want to trash somebody.

Speaker 8 (38:21):
I want to trash everybody on the US men's national team. Also,
I want to trash all the fans. I also want
to trash anybody who paid for the games. I want
to trash anybody who spoke highly of them. It's not
that I'm hurt, Rob, It's just like you've ever had
a point in your life where you knew like dang,
only if I took advantage of that.

Speaker 6 (38:38):
Yes, you know, I can still hear you ran k it? Okay?

Speaker 2 (38:41):
Cool.

Speaker 8 (38:42):
I'll just say this like, this was the time. If
we ever wanted soccer to be anything in this country,
it was now. And now we actually sent ourselves back further.
Like a lot of people can say about, you know,
political reasons, politics and presidency and stuff, I think the
same thing happened to us. From what happened if you
were anybody who wanted to believe, or you were a
young sports fan and started watching soccer. This is only
going to bring people towards the World Cup moving forward.

(39:04):
But as for a brand and as the US men's
national team, everybody should retire in every aspect. I'd rather
have fresh eighteen year olds for the next World Cup
than any of these players. It was unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (39:14):
Wow, this is let's want you want to wipe out? Yeah, Lexi,
and you had you listen, you were really in. You
saw the route. Do you saw the map? The road map.
It wasn't the best teams we had to play. It
was sitting there for this. This was the chance to
do it, and they didn't do it. In the last
point I keep bringing up is they didn't even look good.
They didn't even look like they belong. That's the worst place.

Speaker 6 (39:33):
It looked like they showed up.
