but you think they got what two weeks weeks?
Speaker 6 (01:00):
Do you?
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Two weeks from today? Right? Do you think something? Now?
Ig what you think? Silver?
Speaker 5 (01:08):
Like, I gotta do something, Adam Silver, the pushover Connossioner.
I know that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
No, first of all, they got legal approval before they
went to do all that. You know there's a lot
to before you're selling tickets and you're making promost.
Speaker 5 (01:22):
Apply Georgia got his hoodie, right, all that like that,
that has to be done way, way, way in advance,
in no way that they don't think that there's a
chance that could be a pushback.

Yeah, we got a lot of it's per the huge
shout out to the eye mab, the utub beans always
weighing in real heavy and anything we're talking about. And
naturally Rob Parker's diet has really taken a conversation.
Speaker 8 (02:11):
To the next level.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Oh here we go.
Speaker 7 (02:12):
Of course, Vince Garcia says Rob will do anything but
hit the gym.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
No, it's not true. True, that's not true.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Let me tell you. Along with the gym, you have
to eat right. That's a part of it.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
You don't do the right, you just do the less. No,
I give you credit, you do the less. You gotta
eat right. The gym is a part of it. I
have one in my buildings.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
I had before twenty twenty or whatever COVID happened.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
I was six years ago before COVID.
Speaker 5 (02:41):
Robe, that makes it worse. No, Kobe was already six
ago before. It makes it seven?
Speaker 4 (02:46):
No, No, no, it was during whatever it was, Rob,
Do you remember I had a trainer?
Speaker 2 (02:50):
So what y'all knew each other for three weeks? No,
I had a trainer. I was.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
I was in the best shape of my life. I
was in I was in a good spot. And then
all hell.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Broke clues, all nobody coming to my other friend.
Speaker 7 (03:02):
Now we got babe, and Babe says, did Rob Parker
just pull a slice of pizza out of his pocket?
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Yes? I did.
Speaker 7 (03:09):
Sean, the official mayor of the odd Mom shout out
to Sean. What Sean rob uses the water to soak
his dentures? Then is the morning drink man is very efficient?
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Wow? Killing two birds with one stone?
Speaker 7 (03:23):
And uh, this is one specifically for Mary? Mario Loco says,
why does she have a KFC bucket on her head?
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Wow? Man, let's not hate on? Is that?
Speaker 3 (03:35):
What?
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Mary?
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Is?
Speaker 6 (03:38):
That?
Speaker 2 (03:38):
White meat? A dark meat. I'm just as when Mary
is dark all right, fitting juice.
Speaker 5 (03:43):
We knew a time and remember she got her caller
who loves her nagger Mary, I love Okay, love is extreme,
he said, he is like or lust.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Mary. I swear I could be a good man.
Speaker 7 (03:55):
Now you're married, and then we can't let dub slide
real quick when Arizona Ron says, Calvin, keep the bears
out your stinky mouth.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
You just a hater there he is. He's all all
the way hater, you know he is. He hates to
hate that. Let me say this too, but I will quick, uh,
because we're gonna talk about wide receivers, college wide receivers.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
And I thought you was about to do Marcellus talk.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
About no, no, no, I'm gonna give it to you,
but uh, you are here today.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
We had him on. Never mind, we had him on.
He was supposed to be here. That's how I purposely
take off what I know he's going to be on.
That's what it is.
Speaker 5 (04:33):
No, no, no, real quick without like a couple of
my previous co host jousting match Robers, who you got
money on Rober or Marcellus.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
He got a new hit.
Speaker 7 (04:41):
Marcellus what have you seen Marcellis in person?
Speaker 2 (04:44):
I've seen him.
Speaker 8 (04:46):
He's a massive human.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
I'm smarter and more agile. I don't know about the
smart to Columbia. What I got a master's degree? He
did go to Columbia. What are you talking about? I
got a masters degree? That's hard to you? How much
for how much for the Columbia?
Speaker 9 (05:07):
For you?
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Please?
Speaker 4 (05:10):
I'm proud of that degree. But anyway, speaking of New York,
there's a little riff C. C. Sabbathia and Phil Mushnick,
who's the comments of the New York Post, who says
kind of like they're going to the Yankees are gonna
retire his number right and put them in with all
the all time great Yankees, Like they're lowering the standards
of greatness for C. C. Sabbathia. And I'm confused. You're
(05:37):
very You're first Ballad Hall of Famer. How is that
not great enough? And you won a World Series with
that team? How is that not greatness? The Baseball Hall
of Fame superseds the team ceremony. Yes, what are you
talking about?
Speaker 2 (05:59):
You're not get it.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
I'm actually going I'm looking up his his his you know,
his stuffs because I'm like, am I missing something?
Speaker 2 (06:07):
It doesn't make sense.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
The baseball your first ballot Hall of Famer, and you
think the team that you played for in the hat
that you're wearing in the Hall of Fame, which is
the n why you don't think he.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
Belongs in the team's hall of fame. So look at this?
Why this is crazy to me? He ranks the Is
there a team with more history in baseball?
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Right? Probably all sports? Sports? Maybe? Right?
Speaker 5 (06:33):
What if I told you he ranks fourth in franchise
history for strikeouts and tenth and wins of all Yankees.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
Ever, that guy can't get in there. That don't even
make sense.
Speaker 5 (06:45):
Six time All Star and Cy Young Award winner MVP
for the Al ALC That's.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Right, that's the year that they won the World Series
in two thousand thousand and nine.
Speaker 5 (06:58):
God's a great you know if you want to go
even for anthropy started a great something?
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yesous, I don't It makes no sense.
Speaker 5 (07:04):
And more so if you it'd be different if you're like, oh,
I just like you know, I maybe you should make off.
Maybe there's there's a thought you don't think he can
make off. But the idea that like he's ruining the
Yankee way, that's what. But here's the other one that's crazy.
Don Manneley's in Don Mantley.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
They didn't. They never want to go to everyone.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
He's not in the Hall of Fame, but he's in
the Yankee Hall of Fame. Does that make sense?
Speaker 5 (07:25):
And that's where it gets into what I told you
off the air where you were talking about this.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Yeah, but he did it the Yankee way. He had
that you know what I mean. When people this is
when it starts to get into that the other stuff.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
Rob g Let's go to the Indianapolis and the combine
and lemonade that happened there.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Lemonade that cool refreshing drink.
Speaker 7 (07:46):
Yeah, Normally on this show, we don't really get too
much into the combine. You know, the underwear Olympics never
really been our cup of team, just not, you know,
not say it doesn't have a huge you know following
people gotta watch that.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Don't but don't remember McVeigh didn't show up.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Coach rams have not been there in years years.
Speaker 7 (08:05):
So you know, that's never been a thing for us.
But when there are storylines that developed, we be remissive.
We didn't talk about it. And this week or. This
year's biggest storyline in terms of players has been USC
wide receiver Makayle Lemon.
Speaker 8 (08:20):
Now you know who mikay Lemon is.
Speaker 7 (08:21):
He was the Blittanikoff Award winner last season as.
Speaker 8 (08:26):
The top wide receiver in college.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
He could be He.
Speaker 7 (08:33):
Led the power forward, receiving yards and yards after the catch.
So when he declared for the twenty twenty second of
our draft, the expectation was slam dunk, no doubt about it.
Top ten, top fifteen pick at worse. Flash forward to
the combine and the production is not a problem. It
seems to be that everything else, however, has been one.
(08:56):
First off, he did the media rounds a couple of
days ago. He met with the media, asked some questions
and they asked him about you know which receiver he
would compare himself to models the game after says I'm
Ross Saint Brown. His answer was not bad whatsoever. You
just read it. I'd say Amaras Saint Brown, type of
greedy plays with the way he can have a positive
impact team without the ball in his hands.
Speaker 8 (09:16):
It's perfect. But if you watch the video.
Speaker 7 (09:19):
He's kind of moving his body like a snake. He's
almost seducing the reporters with the way he's glaring deep
into their souls was like that it made everybody very uncomfortable.
And now over the weekend is when these guys have
their big interviews with all the different teams, and multiple
people have reported that Makai Lemon has basically bombed all
of his interviews. One person even said that the teams
(09:42):
they spoke to said that they've taken him off their
draft board completely. A third scout anonymously said that Lemon
quote walks around like he's got somewhere better to be. Guys,
questions very simple, how much stock do you put into
these bombed in interviews reportedly with Kayle Lemon? And and will
it overtake what had been a stellar collegiate career at USC.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
I don't believe that he was taking off the board
for that, I'm shocking to me.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
But no, the same thing. Do I think that?
Speaker 10 (10:13):
Do?
Speaker 5 (10:13):
I think they might have had some some chicken wings
and some beer afterwards, like doubt the kid's kind of weird. Sure, absolutely,
do I believe they're taking them off? No, because one
thing I've learned about the NFL is it doesn't matter
what you do they have, They have people who have
killed me literally, Dante Stalworth, and it's a terrible situation.
But there's been no limit. As long as you don't
(10:34):
kneel for any causes for African Americans in this country
and the injustice for all, as long as you don't
kneel about that, you got a chance to get back
in the league. You mentioned the drunk driving, calling, calling
people the N word be girlfriends, betting up girlfriends while
them on guns, wives selling drugs, doing drugs, picking crime.
You can get in the NFL and stay in the NFL.
(10:56):
That's why it's just comical.
Speaker 4 (10:58):
Aaron Hernandez, everybody knew before he was drafted about him
and Levan's involved in them in gangs.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Yeah, he got picked up by the Patriots. They thought
they even hit the jackpod.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
Really, but this kid, uh has a offside conversation.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
The NFL stands for that.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
And you remember during that time when they had the
list of all the people had felonies, they were called
the National Felony League because so many players in the
league had felonies and some misdemeanor.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
And I think with this again, do I think he
could be a little strange?
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah, you know what else?
Speaker 5 (11:33):
They called strange Caleb Williams little emotional, little emo as
as the kids call it, paint nails, all all that
kind of a loaner. They asked, what do you do?
I like to go home and hold my dog and
watch movies. I'm not even funny. He literally says that
I'd like to go home my puppy and just watch movies.
Like he's not your typical Rod Rod quarterback the way
he answers questions.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
And you know, so what draft pick was he?
Speaker 5 (11:57):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (11:57):
He number one? I did right? I did somebody?
Speaker 4 (12:00):
So can you imagine your jobs on a lot like
I didn't like him because he showed nails exact exact green.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
Or I don't know anybody.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
He didn't say that he was gonna go home and
watch film twenty four hours a day. He said he
was gonna watch a movie and hold a puppy. I
don't think he could play for.
Speaker 5 (12:17):
So I one thousand percent believe they might rag on them.
They might go home, talk to their friends, talk to
other scouts due that kid's weird joke joke. Yes, but
what I've learned is if you're talented, that buys you
so much stocking leeway in most leagues, but for Dagon
Shore the NFL. So I don't overly buy it or
put stock in this. Again, I do think there may
be a team or two that are like, uh, you know,
especially if they're loaded or if they haven't.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Receivers have the put they bring the diva Now you
don't want it to you.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
You don't mind the to version and that it was
always great on the field. What you don't want is
that Antonio Brown, I'm not sure everything is okay version,
So you know you you want to leave more left,
Little Dez Bryant, little extra times. I'll do with that,
little Odell Beckham head and should his commercials in the streets.
I can deal with that. So I don't overly buy that.
(13:06):
And I think just as greater the greater good. Oh
the interview is bad or this, that and the other.
If you are great talented and you're on their board,
sads for something wild like murderous or something you say or.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Something putting together a boys choir? What are we? What
am I?
Speaker 4 (13:23):
What am I missing? We're not putting together a boys choir.
It's okay. Everybody's not going to be the same. Can
he play and again if.
Speaker 5 (13:34):
You started looking at his history and he's got issues,
I think teams should do more, be more proactive.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
That they drafted Aaron Hernandez.
Speaker 5 (13:42):
They drafted, they drafted Tyreek Hill, They drafted guys who
come out with issues. You know they've been I mean,
we know millions of hundreds of athletes.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
The region, the only region Ray Rice didn't get back
in the league.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
He he was already on his way down, like tell him.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
But everybody saw that video, and everybody was afraid that,
you know what I mean, Like seriously, like you, ty
We we didn't see no video, Joe Mixon. We saw
video was a game changer for ray Rice, no doubt,
persada non grata. There was no way any general manager
could have a press conference and stand up there with.
Speaker 5 (14:19):
Him that there was a game chain. We learned so
much from from then on about our own psyche. I
can tell you this happened. You can read I see it,
but when I see it, it's a game.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
I can't see it.
Speaker 7 (14:30):
Not a question for you guys now. I think everything
you're saying is one hundred percent accurate. The caveat beings
you mentioned, Tyree Hill, Ray Rice, Aaron Hernandez, Joe Mixon
most recently. None of those guys won in the first round. Now,
Joe Mixon was the closest where he was projected to
go in the first round, fell to the second round
after that video surface.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Well, he was a number one, was he was?
Speaker 8 (14:51):
You believe that.
Speaker 7 (14:53):
These reportedly terrible interviews will be enough that pushes him
from top ten top fifteen out of the first round.
Speaker 5 (15:01):
Again, I'm gonna answer no. I mean, not that he
could drop to eighteen. But my point would be those
are strange, like that kid's a little cookie, but hey
versus violent. If I'm hearing he's punching his girlfriend, I'm
hearing that's a little different, then they might take a
flyer later around. I give you that. But what I'm
saying is just glad Like the video I saw who
(15:22):
was a kid with the with the smoking with the
tony remember that Jeremy tuns I remember that he dropped
a little bit of that he had a heck of
a career and.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
He wound up.
Speaker 5 (15:32):
But that was a big moment that that was like
he was in that thing man, he had on a
bang mask.
Speaker 4 (15:40):
Getting to let me tell you something, if you would
have that that that night when that video dropped or whatever,
he probably would have needed to be changed.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
I'm there was the whole new Mama, can you give
me some new underwear? He must he had like bang
mask going going crazy with it, which again is you know, now,
it's not that big of a deal.
Speaker 7 (16:00):
And his slide was from top five to thirteenth, right,
so it wasn't.
Speaker 10 (16:03):
It wasn't, but he did drop right, but he became
the highest pay tackling for That's what I said, having
a really good career, which again I'm not an advocate,
but like there's a there's worse.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
Things all right, eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox
eight seven seven nine six sixty three sixty nine. Should
be a weird guy, be enough to knock Lemons being
a weird out of the first round.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
I don't know, Rob guh what.
Speaker 5 (16:30):
You think he was trying to do? Robb g with
that like the little lookdown stared at what what?
Speaker 2 (16:35):
It's kind of weird. It was just weird. It's weird.
He got a video on today, look at it. It's
on our look on you tube.
Speaker 7 (16:41):
Oh and then you got the workout video today, which
I know I people have really seen it yet because
they're back at work, you know, Monday. But the combine
coach says, hey, run this drill three quarter speed. We're
trying to get the timing down with the quarterbacks. Okay, cool,
and he's clearly not paying attention. He's kind of in
his own world, watching walking around. So then it's her
his turn to do the drill and he just jogs
it at like. But i'ma say, the past goes forty
(17:04):
yards back. And I told Rob G he's always representing him. Dude,
I'm not working out. I'm the Blitna cough winner.
Speaker 6 (17:12):
I'm not.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
If you can't watch the.
Speaker 4 (17:14):
Film of me playing in real games in college at USC,
then you don't need Then I don't need to be
drafted by I'm dead serious.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
What is he doing? Well?
Speaker 5 (17:23):
The opposite could be saying is his person could be saying,
what are you doing?
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Just run half speed? As No.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
No, I'm saying, but I want to put myself, not him.
He's supposed to be a top, top first round pick,
not him. The quarterbacks ain't out there throwing.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
You get the interview.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
That's what I'm saying, all right, eight seven, seven ninety
nine on Fox. Where are you on this Makai Lemon controversy,
if there really is one, and is it a deal breaker?

to talk about what the Vikings are doing. Also Magic
City Monday, but I'm talking about today we're talking about
the one that's happening in Atlanta and a couple of
weeks from the day.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Two weeks from today. Man, I bet, I'm so mad.
I can't. I was gonna fly. I went looking for flight.
Why aren't you going again? I got drewery duty that once,
and I don't know if I'm gonna get called. Some
things for you are worth the risk of going to jail.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
No, you know what the problem is is that I've
been off all.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
So yeah, I can't do it anymore. I can't. I
gotta go.
Speaker 5 (19:25):
Like this time, if they was me, I finally went,
but I luckily went served my day. I literally just
kept me there all day as a reserve and never
did anything. I'm gonna say, I know a criminal when
I see one, that's what you get up there and said,
but that see, but you gotta get to that part.
I never even got to that party. I was just
a reserve. Maybe thirty of us and everybody else did that.
(19:45):
And we're basically if one gets elected and the judge,
I need more people and more candidates that would have
been us. So we got to just sit, chill, be
on our phone, read a book, you know, go to
lunch and collect. I don't know it was the fifty bucks,
sixty bucks or something like that. I'm gonna try to
get some numbers one on them there. I'll do something
out of this.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Hey, I'm not mad at you. Go ahead, all right? Hey,
yeah girl? You know, yeah, be a call out here.
What you're doing out here? Girl? Come on, get some
lunch on me. I gotta tell you on something. We
know you ain't got a man.
Speaker 5 (20:11):
I'm just dag. Why you know seeing got a man?
All right, I'll take maybe one quick call. I see
a few calls. Let's take a few of my bad
Let's take a few, all right. So we're talking about
if you didn't know mikay Lemon, star receiver from the Trojans,
expected to be a top ten, top fifteen pick, but
had some weird I don't even know what to call it,
just some weird moments at the draft after Combine, really strange.
(20:34):
And now some team said the some teams say they
don't know about them. I say, baham bug I don't
believe it. Rob actually doesn't believe it either. One of
the times we agree eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox,
who we got.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Kevin in Culver City. You're in the couple of Fox Sportraito.
What's up? Kevin? All the time, all the time, A
little slow, but I got you, well I've been slow.
Speaker 6 (20:56):
Hey man, you guys, that's that was me last year
with jury. Same thing with Kelvin. You know the judge
he said, you got to say like I'm trying to
get out. He said, now you're saying, so, I'm with you.
It's just a grind, a great mindset on it.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
All I'm going to say is, uh, you know I've
had issues with cops before in my life.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Okay, Well it's African American. We expected that. So keep
on going, keep him up, keep him on.
Speaker 6 (21:21):
I know, I know mackay. I've known him since he
was man Low selling Medo. This is a great kid.
He's always been a great kid, always did the right thing.
And I'm just gonna give you a little behind the scenes.
When we had Zacharie Brand from Vegas, McKay worked his
way all up on the depth chart to number one
and got the Berlinakopp Award. When everybody was leaving Zacaraie
(21:43):
went to Georgia. Everybody was transferred, affecting. He could have
went anywhere in the country, won the championship Alabama Anywhere
l s U. He stayed and played it out at
USC for for the full uh for his full three years.
Great kid. People don't know how to deal with us.
We're l A kids, so it's want to swag with
these LA kids. Armar had it. We came out like
I'm a beast. That's just how it is. That's the
(22:05):
mindset of the rappers in that area, Compton Long Beach.
You know you had cand All of these guys like that.
They have a swag, so a lot of these gems
because they don't speak that language. So his ravato is
just like confident and then they say that hockey eagle.
He did nothing wrong off the bill. He just has
good swag. I hope he falls to the rams. I
really do, because if you watch him as a swat.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
I'll stop with the rams. Oh my god, I'm in
my mind.
Speaker 6 (22:30):
I'm just saying. He's a great technician as a route runner.
If you look at the tape, he's one of the
best on tape. He was a great coming term, our
most explosive excited place since we had this. Reggie Bush.
The kid's a great kid.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
All right, Kevin, you go to Kevin. Let me tell
you something.
Speaker 5 (22:43):
If his agent ain't the one you all, you better
call you exactly.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
We appreciate you. Thanks Kevin.
Speaker 4 (22:49):
Jordan in DC, you're in the odd couple. Fox Sports Radio.
What's up Jordan?
Speaker 11 (22:53):
Oh hey Rob Kevin, how you guys doing.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
What's happening?
Speaker 7 (22:58):
Oh?
Speaker 11 (22:58):
Not much with Makad Lemon. So the first time I
saw that video, I saw it on mute, So I
just saw a face expression I thought it was I
thought he was doing a Zoolander impression or something like that.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Blue still going.
Speaker 11 (23:11):
Yeah, it sounds like he gets into his modeling bag.
But as far as the second the draft stock, I
think that would be ridiculous. I'm a firm believer that
when someone has that much great production on tape, we're
playing real football. You can't let that drop. And I
still remember people going crazy about Anthony Richardson's uh A
combine or is that Zach Wilson's pro day? Yeah, wake
(23:33):
he threw a ball in short to the T shirt
and how that turned out.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Thank you. I'm with you.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
Yeah, I just I'm always gonna trust the film of
you playing in a real college football game.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
More than anything.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
And that's why I said, like, I don't if this
was something serious. Yeah, but I mean, is he a
little strazy maybe coming in a little arrogant in the meetings. Okay,
well you know we're the young man. There's some things
you can work with, you know what I mean. That's
my opinion. Joran appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
Yeah, Sure, on in Sacramento. Sure, Fox Sports Radio, what's
up show.
Speaker 9 (24:09):
Real quick man? Wings are good? Yes?
Speaker 2 (24:11):
Are you kidding?
Speaker 8 (24:13):
Wings the time?
Speaker 9 (24:15):
So, Kevin Kolber City pay this man his wings?
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Yes, he said, wins are good all the all the time.
You're right, You're right. I gotta get wed.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
Hey, Sean, we had a smorgsburggas Borg Smorgsborg the other day,
Robb g when you weren't here, Like I think we
were overboard.
Speaker 9 (24:35):
Now, Rob, Rob Parker still sucking his teeth from all
them lemon pepper.
Speaker 5 (24:39):
Wings, robb Let me tell you I'm never ordering wings
for Sean. Let me tell you I'm never ordering wings
for the person sitting to my right. What I heard, Mary,
it's one thing to like order. I left the room,
like I said, order this pack, this this, you know,
this this family pack whatever I come back in here
and I.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
Hear him talking, no, just order this, just do this,
just click this, we'll do that.
Speaker 5 (24:59):
And I come back Sean, and it went from like
whatever dollars or thirty more dollars we had it messed around.
Speaker 6 (25:06):
I had a private catering man.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
Yeah so I know. So yeah, Robbie, I'm only ordering
when he's not here.
Speaker 7 (25:12):
In the curtain back real quick. I have that have
been with my daughter. That's why I missed on Friday.
But I'm driving to and listening to the odd couples
listen to this.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
You're okay now My.
Speaker 7 (25:19):
Daughter's like Daddy, were listening, like, oh, these are the
guys I work with. This is the show I'm on.
Speaker 8 (25:23):
Oh cool?
Speaker 7 (25:24):
And the part they here we go to break Kelvin's
doing to tease Rob runs into the studio to get
more wings.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
So there's like a dead air for a few seconds.
Speaker 5 (25:34):
Yeah, yeah, you must have been listening.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
Yeah that boy had twenty seven.
Speaker 8 (25:42):
I've never been more embarrassed to be like, yeah, that's
the show I work on, right.
Speaker 5 (25:44):
Rogie, who does that? I put my card in and say, yeah,
just order that. When I come back, he's like, yeah,
just could you put your real quick note of wings him.
Speaker 9 (25:59):
Uh represent your job day. But man, on this man, look,
it's just a zestier, sassier generation of man. Man. I
wouldn't be surprised if Bro did that on purpose, just
to make sure he slides, to Kevin's point earlier, to
a team that has a better roster, better GM and
just better overall team. Man. I'm not mad at Bro,
Like Rob rob Gi said, the best man little UZI
(26:20):
Berg got all these dudes act a little fast year.
Don't let that effect the way you're looking at they
tape Bro.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Sauce it up, all right, I have it, appreciate it.
They're all zesty. We'll get one more. I don't know
if you know who. Let us get on this car.
Speaker 9 (26:36):
All right?
Speaker 8 (26:37):
We are right and we took it to like nineteen
to them.
Speaker 4 (26:40):
This podcast, Andre in Massachusetts, the last one up on this. Andre,
you're on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up?
Speaker 6 (26:48):
What's going on?
Speaker 12 (26:49):
Thanks for taking taking a call. Since when are these
wide receivers not out like they're auditioning for the Supremes
see the first Prima Donna to play wide receiver?
Speaker 6 (26:58):
Are we not?
Speaker 12 (26:58):
Are we new to this right, not half twelve Owens,
Michael Irvin, all of these receivers who didn't exactly comport
themselves and didn't act one hundred percent, you know, walk
the line like everybody else.
Speaker 6 (27:10):
So it is preposterous to me.
Speaker 12 (27:11):
He's he plays a position that's vote for individuality.
Speaker 5 (27:16):
No.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
Thousand, I mean, that's that's what.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
And again, it wasn't anything criminal me little like I said,
they can go home, shoot off a couple of texts,
laugh at him and that boy kind of strange, laugh
and move on. But he didn't do anything wrong to me.
So and again I wasn't. In the interview rooms they
say some of them say he bombed. I don't know,
but I still think he's too talented for somebody to
really reconsider. All right, appreciate that. We're gonna check in
with Steve Seger. Get you updated. We'll come back and
(27:39):
talk a little bit.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
More Sega saying, my goodness, forty years Steve the Sega,
and we're gonna talk a little bit more about magic.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
So conty, I think I've been doing too much. Dodgers
is what it is. State's fine.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sport talk lineup in

Speaker 2 (28:09):
Ooh hey, Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 5 (28:12):
A couple Rob Parker kelvin Washington on a Magic City Monday.
Gonna have a little further conversation about that because we
had it last week, but then some news came.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
We'll get to in just a second.
Speaker 5 (28:21):
For over forty years, ty Rack's been helping customers find
the right tires for how, for what and for where
they drive, ship fast and free back by free road
hazard protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation
ti rack dot Comedy is the way tire buyings should be. Mary,
you asked a great question, you will, Rob G. And
there I'm gonna take that to my Instagram. We don't
have to talk about it now, but.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
It's hard for debate.
Speaker 5 (28:41):
They said, which decade had the best R and B
seventies and nineties, and you would think it was the
younger one, Mary with the seventies. So I'm gonna put
that on my answer. That's a good question. That's a
good question, all right, Rob G. Magic City Monday for US,
Magic City Monday in two weeks for the Atlanta Hawks
and not everybody's in on it. Yeah, big deal.
Speaker 7 (29:00):
In case you missed the story, Magic City Monday, the
world famous gentlemen's club in Atlanta, Magic City Night t
Eyes can perform at halftime. They're gonna serve Lemon Pepper Wings,
Lou Williams Lemon Pepper barbecue Wings is gonna be a
whole thing, right.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
See that sounds better to me to just regular drive.
Speaker 7 (29:18):
So it was a big talking point on this show
because Magic City Monday is a brand name for us,
which they stole.
Speaker 8 (29:23):
Wold get into that later.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
That's right.
Speaker 5 (29:25):
Trademark in front is excited as he gets I'm not
sure he's not like a zero point big facts. The
way you get so excited big facts, The look at
your face last week we start talking about.
Speaker 7 (29:36):
This, Considering the way y'all got into it, you can
assume that there's people around the league who also felt
some kind of way about it. Right while Luke Cornett,
the backup center of the San Antonio Spurs, wrote a
lengthy blog post about Magic City Monday and he is
calling on the NBA and their constituents to cancel it.
(29:57):
And here's what he said. I'm manrid it. In part,
he should desire to protect an esteem women, many of
whom work diligently every day to make this best basketball
league in the world. We should promote an atmosphere that
is protective and respectful of the daughter's, wives, sisters, mothers,
and partners that we know and love. Allowing this night
to go forward with our protests would reflect poorly on
us as an NBA community, specifically and being complicit in
(30:19):
the potential objectification and mistreatment of women in our society.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Are you ready? Yes?
Speaker 4 (30:27):
Backup centers should be heard, should be seen, not heard.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
How's that? What?
Speaker 4 (30:33):
Like you want to talk about misreading the room? And
we talked about it sellout overnight? What is sellout? And
record record time? Record time? This is unique to this community.
I'm that serious. And you know this. I mean I've
been going there since the nineties. Okay, it's a different place.
I don't go to just any old place anytime I'm
(30:54):
on the world, I don't. That is a place that
has a connection with the community. And I'm not surprised
that it sold out. There weren't people there picketing or
saying that, you know, like like women's groups could have
easily done that and come on down on the hawks.
But you kind of got to know. And I think
(31:16):
he's misguided here. And here's the other part that I
have a big issue with.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
Where was your.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
Blog or your lathy blog about gambling? And you know
why there's no blog about gambling because gambling's legal, right,
and the NBA's in bed with gambling. And guess what
so is working at a strip club. They pay taxes.
It's illegal business. It's not illegal. If it's illegal, he
(31:42):
has a leg to stand on. You might not want
to take part in it, which I respect, and I
have no issue with. It's a legal business. This is
how women in that place or whoever make money. They
got to pay for school, They got to get dipe.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
Are we ever gonna get rid of that theory? I'm
just saying this.
Speaker 5 (32:03):
Ain't you said ninety two whenever you started going ninety one?
They just making money. Now schools smooth. And I ain't
saying nobody don't know that.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Anybody.
Speaker 5 (32:11):
I just said I don't know, Well, you would know
better than I. But let's not act like that. It's
a new what used to be taboo. All you gotta
do is turn on your Instagram, somebody either that they're
partying Mary Grease. They're either they're participating having fun or
the dancing, or they're girls who wish they were dancing
like the dancer. It's a whole What used to be
taboo in underground is no longer the case. It's very popular.
(32:32):
So the lead to your point. All the songs that
they mentioned live they listen Men in Magic City and
all that, and you know you hear them all, especially
in the Atlanta artists for the last twenty years they've
been rapping about it. But my point is, I told
you I don't have a problem with that's your personal preface.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
You want to go out. I don't have a problem with.
Who am I to tell somebody what they need to do?
Can you do your life? And this is not mine?
And you've never been there? The only thing no, would
you go just no, no, no, no.
Speaker 5 (32:59):
Those days are yeah. When I was like back in
the day, I try. They laughed at us because we
were all young.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
They are like, how much y'all think about it? Did
you go on?
Speaker 5 (33:08):
No, I'm saying they laughed at the idea of like,
you know, like, however much it was, we were like, oh,
it was packed it. I think we can't remember what
event though. Yeah, though, so those days are that that's
not mine, that's not my era now. But my biggest
thing is I get it. I knew Atlanta will love it.
I told you that Atlanta will be all in. It's
a big deal. But I just thought then when we
(33:29):
talked about it, that the NBA being tied to it.
It's just a one of those you can but should you?
Speaker 4 (33:38):
But because there's only fans are also sponsoring events like
sporting events, only.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
Fans specifically the NBA.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
I'm not saying no, no, no, no, no, no nobody, but
I'm just saying, like, the whole thing has changed.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
If this was twenty five years, I would agree with you.
But once you down with the gambling and that thing.
But now let me add to that because that's the point.
But what moral ground are you standing on.
Speaker 5 (34:07):
I'm glad you said that because I agree. We've talked
about the gambling and prop bet we've done. That's been
a big thing on our show. That's why I do
wonder if there's a part of them all right, we
got the gambling, we got issues with players.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
Coming back and forth.
Speaker 5 (34:20):
You know, this has not been great for us, Terry Rozier,
Malik Beasley, all the stuff that went on Chauncey billis
is that's still pending, and all that investigation, No.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
Where did that go. You haven't heard anything on right.
Speaker 5 (34:29):
So you have all this stuff, the stench to which
handful of years ago you joined in on this NBA.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
And that's my point.
Speaker 5 (34:36):
Is there a regret of opening up Pandora's box, of
doing that, doing that? So that's why I just thought,
not that this it makes sense for Atlanta. Anybody knows Atlanta,
you know it. It totally makes sense, But more so
the league. Okay, if you told me, say it was
one of our shorter conversations we have, we call them,
you know, forty five. So we were have one of
those because Magic City was doing some unsanctioned NBA thing
(34:59):
and NBA was like, nah, we'd rather you not. That
would make more sense. But the idea that the NBA
is like, come on in, do your thing, Atlanta Hawks,
I'm still shocked.
Speaker 4 (35:08):
One of the owners, Rob g correct me. Isn't he
one of the Hawks owners? He was hyperboud. It's part
he's a part of Like he's the one who put
together the documentary of Omar about Magic City, Like there's
a connection between.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
But that's but that's documentary right now.
Speaker 7 (35:27):
But it's a woman actually, okay, Jamie Gertz, co owner,
actress and the film producers, the one.
Speaker 8 (35:32):
Who did the docus hearies.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
So that makes sense.
Speaker 8 (35:34):
If you don't know who she is.
Speaker 7 (35:35):
You ever see the movie Twister, she plays the woman
that the guy leaves.
Speaker 8 (35:39):
For Helen Hunt.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
Well, that's too much, man.
Speaker 8 (35:42):
I'm saying you've probably I don't know if you've seen
any of her stuff.
Speaker 4 (35:44):
Okay, but but she's involved in the documentary right produced it.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
There you go, and she's a part of the hall.
So I know the Hawks.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
I know Atlanta. I'm talking larger NBA being connected to something.
What if something goes wrong money, Look, I just I
didn't think the NBA would be tied to it. Again,
Atlanta Hawks, I get Atlanta, the city totally get makes sense.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
Like I mean, I know they would be and that's
part of their communities.
Speaker 5 (36:12):
People go, people go for lunch, people go with business
suits on, people go at night. You know, shoot, I
read Young Gus, But let me telling epic stories in there.
But let me tell you.
Speaker 4 (36:23):
Don't think the NBA when they saw that it sold
out in twenty four hours or whatever, it was.
Speaker 5 (36:28):
Oh yeah, they might be going, do you know what
I mean? It turned around knowing wink wink, we shouldn't
be doing it.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
Nothing.
Speaker 4 (36:33):
But but I think that that softens the blow. Would
you would you admit like like you not to agree
with the no no, no, But I'm just saying like
they did.
Speaker 2 (36:41):
But then it's like, there aren't we didn't see these
stories of people.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
Picking it outside the arena State Farm Arena saying we
don't want this in our time.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (36:51):
Disrespect Chili like that? Well, Chili was out there. He
was the only one. He was out there, dang it.
Chili brought his fam and they were out there. But
you get my point. Thought, Yeah, it wasn't a fun
I must I'm not shooting. I got people down there
to any fuss. Rob did you see in Atlanta? Like
that's none. So but if there's an opposing player, I'm
just hying with double. In this case, we know there's one.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
And h he's the only one that if there is
a you.
Speaker 5 (37:16):
Know, like the game in which I'm playing is associated
with that like, I'm just coming in town, varked game.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
Then I just Monday having to be Magic City.
Speaker 7 (37:26):
So Jonathan Isaac It plays for the Orlando Malay. He
is a Christian. He does speaking engagements famously. Uh preach
that a local church and none of his teammates shut
up and that was a big deal.
Speaker 8 (37:37):
But I'm sure he's not happy about it.
Speaker 2 (37:39):
Okay, don't go.
Speaker 8 (37:41):
He plays for the other team. All Right, he's not good.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
I've actually shocked he hasn't.
Speaker 5 (37:45):
It's early because we got a couple of weeks, but
I'll be he definitely gonna speak up. He he goes
speaking about everything.
Speaker 4 (37:52):
That's fine and everybody. You can't please everybody. The bottom
line is it's a part of that community. It fits in.
I'm not surprised that's sold out like it did. I'm
not surprised the hoodies are going off, the off the shelves.
I'm not any of that stuff doesn't surprise me because
it's a different place, and I wish I could go,
Yeah you still might you get off Jerry duty. I'm
(38:14):
so bummed
