Speaker 3 (00:52):
Yeah, this is ridicul Well, now you gotta come up
with a black one.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Come up with something, Rob, I'll be fired so fast.
Well side, that's okay. Listen, Alex know listen as as
the Black men on the show. Right now, go ahead, bro,
you got permission from me. I've signed off, and the
Black delegation don't fall allow this.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
They said the same thing to that.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Uh what's that guy from from Law and Order and
Jurassic World. He made a joke he got look carried away.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
He had a black friend and say no, no, you
can say it. You can say it, and then it
didn't go for you. Right job, and you know what's funny.
And then then and then I can't let you do
it because then I'll get rid of cute. See that's
what I mean. Brother, Let's give it up passes out
here in these streets. No, we got Lamar Mitchell bet MGM,
director of Trading going to join us here and then
we'll have last call NFL pigskin pickoff as well, Uh,

(01:35):
rob Zie. One of the one of the games we
talked about with with Seaun King, I brought up that
we got the Texan going to Kansas City.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
The Chiefs needed. Texans needed as well. But they've been
on the road kind of change.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
They turn their season around and uh, this is gonna
be a big game for them.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Oh, it's a big game for both teams because if
you look at ESPN Next Gen Stats and they have
the projections right and here who if you win this game,
here's the chance you make the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
If you lose, your chance you make the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
So the Texans, if they win this game, the projection
they have a seventy eight percent chance of making the postseason,
with the loss about thirty eight percent. So you know
it's a big swing, but there's still hope for them
one way or the other. With Kansas City, if they win,
it would only be a fifty five percent chant So
even still they have a big up he'll climb to

(02:21):
get to. If they lose, the projection is twelve percent
chance to make the playoffs. So we make this joke
all the time, like, hey, this is a must win
for this game do or die. You got to treat
like a playoff game. According to the metrics for Kansas City,
this is the literal definition of a must win game.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Yes, and absolutely for them, but this is I'll tell
you what, So I'm going to go to the other
side of the ball and I'm gonna go to the Texans,
and the Texans one of the I think you've heard
me say this now for probably two two football seasons.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Att over year doing the show. The Texans defense continues
to keep them in games.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
They're so good and they were just being games last
season and then even this season that they didn't necessarily
quote unquote if you will deserve to be in You're like,
how are they howard to fourth quarter and the other
team's only up five, only up six. They've certainly been
dominating because their defense has has been doing a great
job of keeping them in these games. Uh, they've been spectacular,
and you got to credit their coaching staff. And that alone,

(03:20):
as we know, travels defense travels that alone. What do
we say, defense wins championship? That alone can win you
some games. You shouldn't have that alone with special teams
can definitely do that. But what's been more interesting now
is the turnaround of the offense. And not great, but
the offense is trying to now keep up with the
Texans and if you look at what they've been able

(03:41):
to do lately, man as far as winning some of
these games, they've got some good wins. They've got not
only just the wins to rob g but the actual
the amount of points the offense put up at times
which for them ain't a lot, but.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
It's been serviceable than what they were before with the defense.
So you look, if you go back some you know,
they beat twenty three nineteen, they beat the Bills. That's
a big win. They did that on the back on
November twentieth, you know they obviously then they beat the
Colts earlier.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
That's a big win. Last week, now they got the Chiefs.
They beat the Jags. That's a really good win. Now
if I told you that ten weeks ago, maybe not.
But now that's a really good win twenty three nineteen.
So the offense is starting to play better. She's a
Stroud is probably in the middle. Not as bad as
last season. He's better than last season, but not as

(04:29):
good as his rookie campaign that we're like, oh.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Look at this guy. So he's kind of in the
middle of what we had hoped for him.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
But they got an opportunity to do something that because
you justly brought the odds that I think a lot
of teams in a particular division and in a particular conference,
and Dagget maybe even the whole NFL.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Maybe shit, we would love to see that.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
And that is they can finally be Buster Douglas and
knock out the Mike Tyson of football, which is Patrick
Mahomes and the can't healty Chiefs. And I know a
lot of people are well the but you know what
I mean. The Chiefs went fifteen to two. The Chiefs
all with their offense, they're only winning one point game.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
They can't keep get it. And they got all the
way to the Super Bowl again. Yep, what they do.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Year they won a Super A year before that won
a Super Bowl. They lost, but they ran a Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Like.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
They've been just so consistent the last you know, five
six years. They've been the team that Josh Allen is like, man,
look at me, I'm finally balling out, filing the posts.
We're gonna lose this to I beat them all the time.
I'm like, five and one in the regular season doesn't matter.
You can't lose it. Who can't beat him in the postseason?
Lamar Jackson, MVP, MVP, you're doing this. Can't beat him
in the postseason. Other teams can't be NFC teams can't

(05:37):
beat him in the Super Bowl. For the most part,
obviously they've lost a couple, but my point is the
Texans have an opportunity to not only do themselves some
good win a game that you can continue to keep
them on a row and continue to have a chance
to win their division and get you know, into this
postseason and lock a position up at some point here
hopefully for them, but.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
They can do it again.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
The rest of the NFL would definitely appreciate is knock
out Mike Tyson, Knock out the boogie man, out the
bully on the block. Because I don't care what Rob
Parker says, I don't care what other people may say.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Chiefs haven't played that great. But if they were to
sneak in this postseason and I literally asked you, looked
at you because somebody's gonna be coming out the AFC
North And if it's the Ravens or Joe Burrow, the man,
I say, who you got Bengals or Chiefs? Ravens are Chiefs?
Who are you picking? Probably the Chiefs?

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Would you finally be the year you'd picked them? I
don't know who you picked before, but do you Is
this the year you would say the Bills can finally
be the Chiefs?

Speaker 3 (06:29):
You get what I'm saying, even if it just makes
you pause.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
That appreciation from some AFC teams, they'll say finde please
knock these guys out.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
For yes, And that's something that you guys have talked
about on this show, you know, for a couple of weeks. Now,
as we've seen this season play out, it's like, yeah,
you know, Drake May is gonna probably be the top seed.
But if it's really comes down to Drake May versus
Lamar Jackson, are you really gonna pick Drake May Or
if it's Daniel Jones going up against Patrick Mahomes, are
you really gonna pick that? Probably not bow Nicks, Right,

(06:58):
And these are teams that objectively, by every metric, the
Patriots are a better team. The Broncos are a better team.
I mean, up until last week you said the Cults
are a better team. But it's like, yeah, but when
I get to the playoffs, can I in my right
mind pick against the established Patrick Mahomes, the established johsh
Allen and so on and so forth, Right, And if

(07:19):
Houston can get this done where we almost take that
off the table, where it's like, yeah, even though they
haven't been good this season, they really weren't that great
last season. They just find ways to win, especially in
the playoffs, Patrick Mahomes, and you read they're gonna figure
it out in a way that you just can't. If
they can get that off the table, you have no
idea what kind of backlipside be doing and what kind
of bathlets football America will be doing. Because last season

(07:41):
when these two teams squared off in the playoffs, obviously
we all remember, it was like a couple of fantom
roughing the passer penalties.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
Even Troichman was saying like, hey, this is ridiculous that
Patrick Mahomes a getting these calls in a playoff game,
and ultimately those proved to be the difference makers in
my opinion. In that game, Houston outgained the Kansas City
Chiefs by over one hundred yards, did not turn the
ball over, and they became the first team in fifty

(08:12):
instances to lose a playoff game having those stats in
their favor outgame by over one hundred yards without losing
it without turning the football over. And that's because Patrick
Mahomes on a key third and seven, no matter how
bad he's played, is going to find a way to
get a first down.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Harrison Butker, who.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
Could miss two field goals earlier in the game is
going to make that fifty two yard kick into the
wind because that's just what they do, year in a
year out. So if Houston could do us all a
favor and be Buster Douglas one time. Because the difference
between the Kansas City Chiefs, we let it stats being
a outside chance of the playoffs and having the door

(08:50):
slammed in their face is one win on Sunday.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
By the way, I don't know who the we is.
Let me put me in the Wii now, you know
you don't want to see them, and you know it.
Don't be putting me in a week You don't want them
in the play you know I want them to know,
yes I do. You don't. So I can have Chiefs
Lions in the super Bowl and Rob Parker. Because here's
what happens.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
If that actually does happen and it is Chief's Lions,
you're gonna be like, oh crap, I don't want to
see those guys in the super Bowl. My lines are
finally there and we gotta face him.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
The Lions can beat him. They can, then you would
you would not feel good about picking.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Up absolutely not. Then I turn into Wii. I mean,
I'll be part of that week. A couple of things
to look at here. We've talked about it a million
times this season. If you're the Texans, I'm start here.
So Texans have the number one total defense in the NFL.
They're only allowing This is crazy, rob g. You only
getting two hundred and sixty four yards when you play us.
If you're the Texans, that's what they hear of Our
Lord twenty and our Lord and Savior. Two hundred and

(09:42):
sixty four yards is crazy, right? And then they're number
two in scoring defense. You're only gonna get sixteen and
a half points, third in leagues and passing the yards
per game, you're not gonna get a lot of that obviously.
The strong run defense, so and they're also very opportunistic
as well.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
You're getting a lot of turnovers.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
So I say that to say defense keeps him in
the offense isn't great.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Offensive.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
The Chiefs has been better this year, without a doubt.
It sure has been better. Still not the old days,
but it's been better than last season. But where I'm
going with that is if you keep it close, this
ain't your dad's Kansas City Chiefs of last year. They're
on five in close games, so if you're the Texans,
well untill last.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Week, right till last week they wanted over time.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Ye if they want it overtimes, you can say, just
maybe they stay on brand for this year meeting the
Chiefs and if we're close, we can pull it off.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
They haven't been great in that regard.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
The only concern I will say for the Chiefs and
whoever else is on the rest of the schedule for
the Texans to say, whoever else is on the Chiefs schedule.
It is December, and you know what Patrick Mahomes has
done in December his career. It's insane.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
It went a lot.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
It's like this, like Jordan Love and Toyota than right,
they said went to Toyota than that. His numbers go
through the roofs. Is got to Patrick Mahomes. Patrick Mahomes
in December? Uh is actually carry i'mnna look it up.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Well, going back to the record, going back to Houston.
While you're looking that up, it's twenty six and six
in December games. So good that's my team hasn't won
twenty six games in three seasons. Good luck. He's twenty
six and six in December, so probably like five seasons
if I'm being honest with myself, suck they do.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
But listen as a team that formally sucked, it'll it'll
come around at some point.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
So going back to this game, and I don't want
to get too much in the ex's of those I
know America doesn't they wanted to hear the hot takes, right,
But an underreported aspect of this game is as and
you mentioned Houston's defense is the only elite unit I
think in either teams in this situation, whether it's the
Chiefs offense, Chiefs chief is good, but not that right.

(11:50):
The Chiefs offense is good, but it's not elite, right.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Even though they are like yards per game. That's what's gon.
Texans defense is elite.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
And according to the injury reports that came out on Friday,
the Chiefs will be without their starting left tackle, their
swim tackle is going to move over, and potentially two
o their starting offensive linemen, a guard and their right
tackle could both be out in this game. It's bad
enough going against Will Anderson, Danielle Hunter and that defense

(12:20):
fully healthy, but if you're back there with the makeshift
offensive line, it could get late, real early in Kansas City,
which is great.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
The only thing if you're the Texans, if I'm Demiko Ryans,
I'm saying, we know that we don't think their defense
too is good and we can't turn the ball over.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
And our offensive line is also bad. Exactly right. CJ
still has PTSD from last season. He's still run around
for no reasons.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Sometimes, Yes, but I think you also have to remember
if you're the Texans, just saying we can't turn the
ball over because our defense will play good enough, but
if we give them short fields, we give them opportunity,
extra possessions, you know, then then how long can you
keep Patrick Mahomes? You know, for CD Shroud and you
have two interceptions, you're the Texans, and you go for
it them four down, maybe at the forty your own

(13:09):
forty five ors, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
You you can't do that because.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Even though your defense is good, it's not fair to
say we're gonna give them chance at the chance at
ten and stop.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
He's got to get Davis Mills on, that's all.

Speaker 6 (13:19):
Ye.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Hey, Davis Mills gotta be like, hey, Moe, why can't
I keep playing? I was playing way I was winning.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Davis Mills and all that neck.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Yeah, that's a little crack, Alex. You might have your
first one of the day right there, all right.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
On the way. Uh.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
The Bears, as you just mentioned we were talking about
with Sean King are nine to three.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
But do you believe in him? We'll tell you next.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
It's the ocoming on a fucky flash back Friday. Alex,
don't believe in him? Stick with your boys. It's Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (13:48):

than that. No, that, I don't believe in none of that.

This is how you know Christmas here when you hear
this one man speaking of hip hop. By the way,

(14:48):
hold on, turn this song down a little bell is
this song is too nice and great in classic.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Put on some ominous and dark and just like dang,
just like that. You want some dark? Yeah, some a
little dark. Anybody watching the Diddy Oh yeah, the Diddy doc,
the you know the all Man. This one's called The Reckoning.
I don't.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
I don't watch salationis stuff. For the most part, I'm not, like,
it's not my my deal and I don't have time.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
Usually it's not sad. It's not sad. Well, I mean,
who's so hod are you on? Because your diddy it is?
We know we're on my gosh, we know it's side.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
We're on.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
No debate here, debate many problem Like you're watching it
a little bit.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
I am watching it.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
Fifty cent has been on a tour to get everybody
watching this, and a lot of people because they have
personal beef and I'll stay out of that, but like,
let's just say women are involved and da da da
dad and stuff that happened back in the day. A
lot of people are all fifty just being petty and oh,
it's gonna be a hit job. And I'm only an
episode and a half in, but it's actually very well done.

(15:53):
What aside what you dont but it's actually very well produced,
very well directed and done.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
You you're further like an episode ahead of me. Yeah,
I think I'm through. I'm in the third episode right now,
like halfway through it. And because I don't play for
that Netflix premium, I still get the ads. So it's
like the second ad it's stopped.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
Now, Wait what, well, I don't have I don't I
don't remember paying for premium. Why do I have ads?
You have ads? I don't have a I don't have ads.
Oh I am paying for hold on.

Speaker 7 (16:16):
That's funny though, by the way, I'm paying for a
platform that have to pay a lot of ads on
that platform.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
So it's cable TV. When Calvis, I was like, what
are we doing? Oh that deserves a did the Washington's
are struggling? No, I can't right now, right now, now,
right now, it's inappropriate.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Break We'll play break you. Well, there's a conversation. That's
another conversation. Half yes, can people do that, so I should. Yeah.
On a serious note, the fact that fifty got this
on Netflix is makes all the difference because I'm so
if this would have been on Lifetime, Yeah, it would

(17:00):
have been like a too B because I've seen like
a two.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
B P Diddy die. Everybody was rushing to put him
up right, and it.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
Was just all of the most US weekly TMZ, nothing
even choir, yeah, but all of the grimiest, dirtiest A
guy who knows the guy who knows the guy is
the one who got interviewed for this one, right. And
credit to fifty on Netflix is they got like legitimate
recordings from a deposit from a we call it a coffer.

(17:28):
It's not like it's not like a deposit like a
real thing with a shooting. And it's not just on
the sex trafficking in the casting, and it's all the
way back to the Biggie and his rise just power Park,
and you see that this is not just a oh
this was later in his life, once he got famous,
he started doing allegedly and all this stuff like no,
he has a history and a pattern of doing allegedly

(17:51):
wild stuff that nobody ever talked about.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
And they paint a picture of someone who was falling
in love with like the percept should have what a
mogul is, a made man, the idea of it, uh,
because they do a great job painting his personal like
growing up and his dad, I always heard him talk
about it. Dad was like a street kind of legend
around his neighborhood who got killed and and so you
almost get the He's like, I got to live up

(18:15):
to that, but I also want to be like this person.
I want to be like this, And so he's like
putting all these things into a blender of like what
a alpha business mogul, minded street guy is. And you
see how that, to Robz's point, plays into all these
different categories.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
So far, I'm into it.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
I'm in it, and it's it's actually more interesting than
I was prepared for, Like, oh wow, it's much more
well done.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
So Ali, I think you'll be like, oh, it's not
just like you said he said, she said kind of
a thing. And by the way, a Benjamin's beater in
the next break, I'll take that bit. All right. Yeah
they did come back with that did that show? And
I fought my.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Head like that no, all right, lamar Mitchell bet MGM
coming up in a little bit real quick. I want
to talk about you. We were talking now Seaun King.
This is one me and Rob Parker get into it
with Rob G. He actually was really offended. Actually my
whole quick take. I'll give you this because I know
you have thoughts on this. The Bears, I still don't
buy them, and as a couple of teams. Maybe I'm wrong.

(19:06):
I just don't buy the Bears. Maybe I'm wrong, I
just don't fully buy the Broncos. Now buy them a
little bit more because of the defense. The Bears defense
very opportunistic number two in turnovers, but not great. They
get more of the turnofs, which then helps Caleb Williams
and the offense because they get better field position. They
get some opportunities in different positions, different parts of the field.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
But Caleb hasn't been great.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
And I said to Rob that I believe they've been
playing well in winning just inSpot him And I told Rob,
don't go crazy because as he was, because that's what
their own coaches said. Ben Johnson said that, and I
said to me, also, I'm also throwing a compliment their
way that they leave the NFC and they actually have
really some good room to improve if their quarterback plays

(19:52):
into the stretch of the season and into the postseason,
if Kayleb Williams improves.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
But I haven't bought into him.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
I I haven't fully been bought into them, I full
and I don't think they're that great. I think they
have had some great close games we talked about this
last segment with the Chiefs, that they've been able to
close out in Caleb's has made, to his credit to
throw a few throws here or there, scrambled here or there,
made some plays. But I just don't buy them as
when you look at Bohemoth, even though they're leading the NFC,
and for good reason.

Speaker 4 (20:19):
Because according to ESPN's next Gen stats, if they lose
this game, despite being the number one team in the
NFC right now as we speak, their playoff chances dropped
down to twenty two percent.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
That's crazy.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
They don't believe in them at all. They all agree
that this is smoking mears and the winning body the
skin of their teeth, and this kind of style of
football is not sustainable. It's not gonna do to winning
high level and more specifically to Ta Kaylab. I think
that the Packers are gonna exposes the wrong word. But
I think they're going to reveal him as he's got
a long way to go to really take the next step.

(20:53):
And just just to clarify that point, last week against
the Eagles, he completed forty seven percent of his pass
and if you're a guy like Rob Parker.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Well you know it's because they won the game and
you know the receivers dropped a lot of bass.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
Rob, you you know that according.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
To this stat twenty seven percent of his passes were
deemed off target. So basically, one out of every three
or so passes he throws is not in the neighborhood
of anybody. Now, just because he's not getting picked or
he's not taking sacks, you're getting the illusion that he's
playing better than what he is.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
He's really not.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
And I think this week you're going to see the Packers,
who have a great front front seven, they have a
great defense. They're gonna reveal like, hey, I know the
number says that they're nine and three, they're closer to
like a six and six.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
And I listen, I'll say this too. Caleb Williams is
in the second year.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
I think I think I was more on that glass
half full last year a lot than I was like, man, listen,
he's got a terrible coach, right, he's you know, he's
making some strides. And then even this season he makes
some plays here there Sean King said sometimes and he
didn't say this way, So I'll praise it in my
own own words. But it's a gift and a curse

(22:02):
when you're that naturally talented that you can rely on
that as opposed to just simply what the player is
or what the design is, what my first read is,
and I think your escapability and you know, he said
he called them a frantic QB and I get that
because he's like, he's twitchy and right, he can get
out of this, as opposed to this drop back.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
This is it. Here's the first hitch, get rid of
the ball. It's there.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
But that's why I said, if you're the Bears or
Bears fan, you can be optimistic that hey, so last
little bit less maybe a quarter of the season, if
you can lock it in, get better, get to where again.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Even Ben Johnson says, we've been winning any Spideer of
our passing game, Rob Parker, this isn't me, just me,
or this isn't just rob g this is their own
coach saying that they can become even scarier though, because
they are I believe number two in the rushing attack. Again,
the running game has really come about one hundred and
fifty yards a game. Like I mentioned, the defense is
very opportunistic. And again, if you can get one more

(22:54):
level up from Caleb the end of the stretch, push
for the playoffs, and then into the playoffs, they can
be scary. Or if you're Bears saying, wow, this is
year one of this experiment with Ben Johnson and Caleb,
you can say next year, where could we be? You know.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
So there is a lot of optimisms. I don't want
to make it like, well, I don't believe in them
and they're terrible. I'm just saying they're ahead of schedule.
That's the part for me where I'm going to a
head of schedule. You've won a few games, and I'm
kind of like, how did you pull that off? You
didn't look great even winning some of them, and I
just fully don't buy you yet. But they can tell
Kelvin Washington to shut up, and if they make a
great push the rest of this the rest of the

(23:26):
regular season and into the postseason. All right, goa happened,
Lamar Mitchell, I'm with you and in Lions that bayern
is Lions last game of the season. It's gonna be
huge Sunday night football. I think that'll be huge. Ben Mgm,
director of Trading. Lamar Mitchell is gonna join this year.
Don't forget we got last called NFL picks can pick
off right now, Steve Seger getting you set on what's trending.

Speaker 7 (23:43):
Hey, Steve, Hey, there by the way, you mentioned Bear's
currently top seed. They've had seating for the NFL playoffs
for fifty years now. There's never been a quarterback who's
been dead last in completion percentage while he's quarterbacking the
number one seed.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
That's what's happening, right, So.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
You feel like that's that's some point, just the historical
it's gonna level off eight, yeah.

Speaker 7 (24:02):
Or better, get better, But yeah, yeah, it's just how
can this continue. That's a lot of close games, and
it's not like when Mahomes was winning close games. This
is a different dynamic. The last quarterback to even be
bottom five in completion percentage while he's leading the number
one seed was Rex Grossman of the Bears. Almost twenty
years and that was gross wow to get to the

(24:24):
Super Bowl. Ten State's new head coach will be Matt
Campbell from Iowa State. Iowa State's new coach Jimmy Rodgers
from Washington State. There are four conference title games tonight,
including on Fox TV late first half at Boise State
Broncos ahead of a ten and two UNOV team twenty
one seven also in progress at twenty three pint TWU

(24:45):
Lane home team up seventeen to seven on number twenty
four Texas for the American Conference crown for the Sunbelt
championship at number twenty five, James Madison Duke's up seventeen
to fourteen on Troy in the third quarter and about
ten minutes it's left in the game. A Conference USA
Kennesaw State shutting out Jacksonville State twelve nothing. College football

(25:06):
selection Sunday is this weekend. This Saturday night, number one
Ohio State against number two Indiana for the Big Ten
title in Indianapolis on Fox TV. Each team is twelve
to zero. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will play Sunday. He
returned to full practice today. Quarterback Jade and Daniels of
Washington will return to start Sunday at Minnesota. Vikings quarterback

(25:27):
JJ McCarthy is back. Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is out
for the year with a foot injury. Bengals wide receiver
T Higgins returns Sunday at Buffalo. He cleared concussion protocol.
US men's soccer will face Paraguay and Australia in next
Summer's World Cup, and then it'll face a European playoff winner.
The FIFA World Cup draw was today in Washington, DC.

(25:48):
Dominance in college hoops for number eleven Gonzaga, which ripped
Kentucky ninety four fifty nine. As for the NBA game,
it's mercifully over. In Boston, Celtics beat the Lakers one
twenty six to one oh five. Celtics from three point
range twenty four for forty five Austin Reeves thirty six
points for Las. Luka Donsich was out again for family reasons,

(26:09):
but could return Sunday. Lebron James of La was out tonight.
Philadelphia leads mid third quarter at Milwaukee, seventy six to
fifty six. The Bucks expect Giannis Antennakumpo to miss up
to four weeks with a string CAF Rockets leading early
third quarter against Phoenix seventy four fifty eight. Big lead
for the Pacers at Chicago mid third quarter eighty two

(26:30):
sixty seven. Pacers have a record four and eighteen. Currently,
Pistons are tied with Portland late third quarter seventy eight all.
And the Knicks led their game twenty three to nothing
in the first quarter against Utah and Nicks now I
had with nine minutes to go one twenty one eighty two.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Back to you, Steve. Thank you have a great night
and weekend, my friend.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
You're the best, Steve. It is the odd couple. Rob
Parkers out.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
We got Rob g and kelvin Washington with you on
this fucky flashback from and as we do on Fridays
around this time. We were joined by our man Lamar
Mitchell bet MGM, director of training.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
Always great to have you on what Seth lamor Seth.

Speaker 6 (27:07):
Lamar's up robing tonight.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
We're doing good man, We're just hanging out. We're Rob
Parker free right now.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
You know he was another vacation vacation, yeah, you know,
he always talks that smack.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
I'm here every day, boy, I tell you what happened
this past summer.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Let me tell you something. My gosh, I thought he
was a teacher. Well he is a teacher, but you know,
he had the summer off. I didn't know where he went.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
See what I like is that Me and Lamar like
actually friendly off the air too.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
So when I'm like, hey, he's on vacation, I'll be
in today, He's oh, yeah, yeah, he went back east
because he wanted to save money on holiday travel. So
he goes three weeks before christ and Lamar gets it
because he like, like that sounds like.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Rob that is by the way, By the way, that
really is what it is. Let me go knock a
oh god, go see some family flight was flight was
only eleven dollars.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
It was almost twenty dollars. They got new ship pagn
No Alex new Jim Piple. All right, let's get to it.
Let's start here. Kyle Hamilton said this week the Ravens
Steelers rivalry is the purest form of football that you
can actually get. It's a hard nosed, physical, smash mouth football.
And the numbers show that Unders are eight and one
of the past nine Steelers Ravens meetings dating back to

(28:18):
twenty twenty, so what kind of action are you seeing
on the total which is set at right now around
forty two and a half in this game?

Speaker 3 (28:24):
And kind of action are you seeing overall? Lamar?

Speaker 6 (28:27):
You know that's two questions, Shelgan, because the Sharp definitely
bet this game under. They know that these guys do
for a under. But believe it or not, the public
forty one ticketcount on the over, wow, and five to
one and the money on the over. But this is
definitely Jos versus prosed when it comes to the total.
You know, these two teams know each other, they don't

(28:47):
like each other a lot, and it's gonna be hard
pressure sporting points in this game with the way these
offense has been playing lately.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
All let's get to the real team here, my Raiders
b boy hosting the Broncos on Sunday. You got arguably
the best teams already to be the worst team. And
now on his face you'd be like, hey, denver minus
seven at that slam dug right, But the Broncos have
lost four straight against the spread of teams losing records,
including to my Raiders, who covered the spread for a second.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
No, they didn't come line, Lamar, are you seeing any
action please, just a little bit on Vegas.

Speaker 6 (29:20):
This spot rob you, you'd be happy because the shops
are on your Raiders.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
That's right as they should be.

Speaker 6 (29:28):
They took the Raiders early at seven and a half,
and even though we are still at seven and a half,
they took it because it went to eighth or it
went back to the seven, and it's back at seven
and a half. So definitely the Sharks are on the Raiders.
But this is the Joey game, the Joey's They love
the Broncos. Seven to one ticket count in favor of
the Broncos and three to one in favor of the

(29:50):
Broncos on the money. So definitely Joe's pros again in
this situation here, But the Sharks definitely love your Raiders.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Yeah. I might be a Joey on this. I don't
even like guys named Joey Fonte Joey from Friends somebody tone,
I'm yeah, I might be Joey on this.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
All right, let's go to the Bengals. The playoff hopes,
of course, are on live support. We know that they
basically have to win out to even have a shot.
Lamar and the Stars, uh and it starts of course
this week in Buffalo, where they are five and a
half road dogs to the Bills. The silver lining for
them though is at the Buffalo Bills, they're on four
in their past four games against teams that are losing
record with losing records, so which the Bengals are by

(30:25):
the quoy.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Of course, we know that where are the Sharps on
this one? And is it Joe Burrow scared them a
little bit.

Speaker 6 (30:31):
We opened this originally at six and the Sharks took
it at tik the Bengals plus six. We're still currently
at six. Got some buy it back at minus five
and a half at some point, But right now the
Sharks are really on the Bengals in this situation here
the public, they aren't decided either way. They're even on

(30:52):
the money and even in the tickets as far as
what they're doing in this game. But the Sharp's definitely
early on tifty Bengals plus a six points, which is
where we curtally lie right now.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
Lamar, Mitchell, Ben and Jim here are the our couple. Lamar,
you got a lot of games with your play up implications,
of course, one game that does not and one game
I'll be watching on the biggest TV I own though, Browns, Titans,
Cam worerich at yours Sanders. The total for this game
and unbelievably low, a JV esque thirty three and a half.
Any Shark backet in this game.

Speaker 6 (31:21):
You know that's funny because when you said which game
it was, I was single one. You already bought up
the Raiders. So no, But seriously, in this situation, it
is a really low total, and I'm surprised the Sharks
have not touched it. The public hasn't touched it. I mean,
the money is about even and the tickets are about even.
In the situation, they haven't really gone over the thirty

(31:43):
three with a lot of confidence, and they haven't gone
under the thirty three and a half or with the confidence,
and the Sharks have just said it's not enough that
we want to mess with. So nothing on this total here, really,
all right?

Speaker 3 (31:55):
Lamar Mitchell.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Of course, he is the bet MGM Director of Trading
on with the couple, Rob g and for Rob Tob
of Washington NFC North.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
Let's talk about this.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
When we've been talking about the Bears and whatnot throughout
the show, they're going to be NFC North is up
for grabs when the Packers host the Bears, and it
should be a good one. That has to be one
of the ones most folks want to watch except for
Rob g. You've got two of the hottest scenes in
NFC North. You got the Bears they've won five straight,
and you got the Packers who have won three. What
kind of action are you seeing, Lamar seeing in this
game when it comes to the Packers, they're sitting at

(32:24):
a six and a half point home favors what you're seeing, Well,
you know, we open.

Speaker 6 (32:29):
This at five and a half and immediately immediately the
shots took the five and a half and that's where
the shots have been. They've been on the Bears on
this believe or not. They really like the Bears in
this situation. The public is split though. The public is
about two to one in favor of the Bears on
the ticket count, but money is coming in heavy on

(32:50):
the Packers are about three to one, almost three to
one in favor of the Packers, so it's kind of
a toss up in this situation, Sharks are definitely on
the side of the Bears. Public split fifty to fifty
basically on the tickets. As far as you know, going
for the Bears of the money, So we'll see what happens,
but definitely Packers money and Bears tickets. But the sharp's
definitely on the Bears in this situation here, so we'll

(33:12):
see what happens. Good matchup though, better than that Raiders
Broncos right, dare you how.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
Danny were friends?

Speaker 4 (33:19):
Lamar Stick of the AFC Jags Colts fight for the
top spot in the AFC South on Sunday. You got
the league's top rush Jonathan Tat's taking on the leagu's
top ranked run defense. So it should be a really
tight game, I would expect. That's probably why it spread's
only Indie minus one and a half. What kind of
actually seen this game?

Speaker 6 (33:36):
We originally opened it at one and a half, and
the Sharps immediately laid it up to two, and then
they took back until we're still at one and a half.
Right now, the public is another like the Bears game
here situation. The public even Stephen on the tickets and
even Stephen on the money. So public still hasn't decided.

(33:57):
Maybe they'll get some news on Sunday when they decide
which way they want to go, But right now, ticket
counts even in this situation, and the money's even. But
like I say, early money. When we first open us up,
Sharpe said, hey, this one and a half, we got
to lay it, and then they took it back at
two and now were the city's pretty at one and
a half. So we'll see what happens. Definitely should be
a good matchup along with those Bears and Packers. Should
be one of the better matchups for the weekend.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
Hoping. So we got a couple more with you, Lamar.
I'm gonna go to Matthew Stafford.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
He had his worst game of the season last week
against the Carolina Panthers.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
He had three turnovers.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
But look in of course at the board right now,
and I don't think the betters care about that because
I see that over eighty percent of the action is
on the Rams at a favored by eight on the
road in Arizona. Is that the pros or the Joe's
who are betting on Las.

Speaker 6 (34:41):
Both This is gonna get. This will be a game
that we're gonna need the house. I'm gonna need Jacoby
Brissett and mcconnels to cover that big number because we
open this up they late the seven, seven and a
half up to eight. The ticket count in this situation
is about five to one right now in favor of
the Rams, and the money is about four to one
in favor of the Rams. Oh, they expect the Stafford

(35:02):
led Rams to bounce back heavily against the against the
Cardinals here, So this will be a game, like I say,
might be another game where it's like the Raiders. The
House is definitely gonna meet the Cardinals in this situation.
So definitely Sharps and the Joe's are definitely on the
Rams in this situation.

Speaker 4 (35:17):
Last for me, lamar Chiefs season on the line of
course sunny name and they face Houston.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
I read this week.

Speaker 4 (35:21):
Unders are nine and three in Texas games this year,
which is tied for the highest mark in the NFL.
That's including some bad teams like the Titans in the Brown.
So the fact that that they're the one tells you
how great their defense is. Points are obviously going to
be at a premium. What kind of ass do you
see on the total in this game of things like
forty one and a half last I checked.

Speaker 6 (35:38):
Yeah, so we open this at forty three and the
Sharps immediately bet that down to where we are right now.
So we're seeing nothing but under money from the professional
money here. But the public, you know, public, they love
the overs. It doesn't matter. Public is about three to
one in favor of the overs and about two to
one in money in favor of the over. But the
Sharps definitely have been pounding us under respecting that Texan defense.

(36:01):
And we'll see what happens, you know, if the Chief
de things can bounce back from that game they just
had last weekend, so we'll see. But definitely the Sharps
are definitely on the under. The public is definitely, just
like I said, on the over in this situation, no doubt.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
Hey, lamar Man, thanks as always, brother, appreciate it. Have
a wonderful weekend you.

Speaker 6 (36:17):
And mal La more Thanks Hello, you guys up for

We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today.
