Speaker 6 (01:27):
Maybe when you're talking about the taxes, implications of income
tax in Nevada, Gino Smith, what about that might be
a stretch on?

Speaker 1 (01:34):
What about all the stuff that I got right in
football season? Those twelve things?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
You remember?

Speaker 4 (01:39):
What about the Sam Donald?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Be quiet?

Speaker 1 (01:42):

Jackson territory?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Man?

Speaker 2 (01:48):
What are you talking about? What have you done lately?
Football season was a while ago. We got to kill

He did a great football season.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
You can't I killed it.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
We got a Clay g wanted to I'm in on

GPT to get through college.

Speaker 6 (02:06):
Chat GPT didn't exist. But I'll tell you this. I
went so to that point. I had all a's in
high school, got to college. I was seezed get degrees.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Boy. I hit a wall, a big wall.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
And Scott Lewis who listens to your weekend show. He
is a big fan of Ears.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Thanks Scott.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
This is why I like Martin. He's a very smart gentleman.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Gust Scott Lewis from Fox Too in Detroit. That's not
the same Fox. I never worked at Fox Too. I
was Channel seven guy. He was a channel so w
X y Z. Now I bring my guitar to work
like Stephen Clark. Stephen Clark the main anchor there. I
used to play the guitar.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
No idea the news.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I was very inside baseball.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Exactly. No, it's all good, Martin. Tell everybody what time
the show was on on Saturdays.

Speaker 6 (02:54):
Eight to eleven easterns moscific Martin, weis Mossy be Monsey's
playing hooky this week?

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yep, exactly what's she going? What's going on in some another?
How many times are gonna go to Disneyland? You know
I got passes rhyme, I just don't. But how many
time you're gonna go to the strip club?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Rhyb?

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Like you ain't never seen it before in your life?

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Two? Not three, not four?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I'm going to be going since the nineties. Can you
lay off?

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Since the year of Fibber.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
I'm not lying.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
As soon as Rob turned eighteen, he was going to
the Dirty Movie Theater in the strip club.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Gamble what is it a lotto ticket? And walked right in.
No but that was I'm talking about Magic City when
I went there, Alex, how do I not go? Dim
mop every hour?

Speaker 4 (03:37):
That was a great slogan.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
That was the peep shows when I was in Wilkesbury, Pennsylvania.
I've said this before, like the like the most unbelievable
thing I've ever seen, you know, in those days, just
kind of gross when you think about it now.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
It was gross then too. But their thing on the
on the.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
One key on the building said we mop every thirty minutes.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I mean that's service, Martin.

Speaker 6 (04:08):
I mean, you know, that's the type of stuff that you.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Some things are better.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Hey, that's how you stay in business.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Bro Ma.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
You even didn't say that if they only mopped every
two days and what, I.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Wouldn't want to be in that business in general. Okay, Martin,
but do you know what, it's a different time, Alex.
Da Floores is so sticky, terrible.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Uh there's a spot you missed the road. Three seat
set on some.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Guy, that's my favorite seat. Two come over here.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
No, that's the worst is actually going to a movie
theater to see that stuff.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Oh lord, everybody's all like embarrassed and shamed of themselves.
But they're all in there anyways, I.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
Feel like if you're in there, you can't be embarrassed
to a shame yourself in the moment.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
But entrance and exits the only time, right when.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
It's in the dark, you don't get yeah in that way,
lights to come on, you know what I mean.

Speaker 7 (05:01):
At the end of the movie and quick. You know
what's wild to probably see in your lifetime. You know
how we went from like no phones to mobile phones FaceTime,
You guys went to where it was like a shaming
thing where you'd have to go rents, like a dirty movie.
There's a wall now only fans is publicized. It's unbelievable
that crazy it is. But it's the same thing as
we look at sports. Gambling like that was taboo.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Even at the day when I was in high school
doing the football sheets, it was like, you know, the
teachers you know, didn't want to see him. If they
saw him, they would take them away from you, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
And now look where it is.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
They got gambling houses inside the buildings, inside the arene.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Rob I was doing a weekend show here. This would
have been away a decade ago now, and we got
invited to broadcast live at the Sands in Las Vegas
because Tony Romo was having a fantasy football like convention
and they were like no one they announced it, they
said out the invitations. Like a month later, the NFL
shut it down. It was too close to gambling for
fantasy football.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
That's what I'm saying. It's amazing where we are now.
Things were better than It's unbelievable we didn't know it.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
I wish there was a way to know about the
good times before he knew they were the good times.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
It's never that way.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Well, speaking of bad times.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
It's a segway and a half right there, right we go.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Russell Westbrook had bad times last night after his game
with the Siberia Kings.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Rob g here we go, take a listen to.

Speaker 8 (06:23):
This's the job is to talk about the game, what's
happening in the game, not stir up a bunch of
I don't want to cut here cause I want to
get fine, but stir up a bunch of stuff that
it's not accurate. And that's my problem. Like being in
the league a while, I've been able to experience a
lot of as times where people outside of our building
or outside of the film such outside of what we

(06:43):
do daily, how much work we put in. That is
not an easy job to do.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
It's not an easy job to do.

Speaker 8 (06:49):
And I think the respect level is that we respect y'all,
respect what y'all do. Y'all come in, y'all make y'all comments,
and nobody say nothing.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
But I don't.

Speaker 8 (06:56):
I don't have to sit back and not seeing that
I've been I've been the media is you know, that's
been my thing, and been on the road buck. As
a leader of this team, it's my job to speak
up for the guys in locker room. We talk about
they see it, I hear it. Because of the comments
you guys make. You got guys thinking about a whole
bunch of random things that have nothing to do with
the game, and you guys are making false comments about
our team and what we're doing here. And I don't
appreciate that. So my acces that you respect what we

(07:19):
do and we respect what you do.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
No, no, you don't.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
And you know what, I thought, that was the most
ridiculous ramp by Russell Westbrook. It really was, because, first
of all, I would have put put up my hand
in the press conference Martin. I was said, what are
you talking about specifics, who said what and who said it?
What are you talking about? When they asked them Connor

(07:44):
about that, he was like, well, I'm not going to
get in. I'm not what was this? It was like,
I'm not going to get in go around on that,
whatever that meant.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
And number two, if.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
We don't know what you're talking about, and we're not
in the film room and we don't know what it
matters or whatever, doesn't matter what we say, what are
you bothered for? What are you punching down on sports reporters?
I just don't even get that after all these years.
That's what's really bothering you, is that the reason why
the King can't win a game Martin is because of

(08:15):
what the sports writers are saying.

Speaker 6 (08:17):
Really, yeah, it's honestly, Honestly, when I've heard this initially,
I was kind of sad, like Russell Westbrook has been
in this business now for over fifteen years and has
yet to understand that you as an NBA player, just
like I as a commentator, those reporters in the locker
room who are doing the beat writing, the fans who

(08:39):
are commenting on all of the consuming all of it.
Everybody plays a role in like the sports industrial complex,
Like this is something.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
That you have to do if you just want to hoop.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
There are plenty of places where you can go hoop
and nobody will give it down, nobody will care. You
just have to also not get paid millions of dollars
while you're hooping.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
But you know what I'm saying, If it's I.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Just want to play the game, he asks, like he
doesn't understand what goes on, or the idea would be
like you're an actress or actor and the.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Movie critic doesn't like your movie.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
That's what they get paid for to tell people whether
it's a great movie or a bad movie, whether you
should spend your money on it, or whether you shouldn't
spend your money on it. Why are you so bothered?
And you know what I would have said, I'm not
even kidding you. Okay, we're not in the film room,
we're not at practice. We don't know about all. Were
you at our Did you talk to my producer? Do

(09:35):
you know what we were trying to put together for
the show? Do you know what I talked to about
my editor? Have you ever written a column for a
major newspaper in the United States? Can you write seven
hundred words. If I gave you a laptop that made sense.
Come on, dude, I get it. You have a job.
We have a job to go and swing on nameless faceless.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
People who are doing a job for a living. That's
what they do.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
I remember when somebody called up and said, oh, so
and so was just trying to sell a book.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Yes, he is trying to sell a book.

Speaker 9 (10:11):
You're gonna write a book Martin that nobody wants to read.
When I hear people say that, they just want people
to read their columns, they just want people to get clicks. No, yes,
I want to do a three hour radio show, not
say anything and not have anybody bothered or moved by

(10:32):
anything I said.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Does any of that make any sense? It's ridiculous. Every
time I hear that.

Speaker 6 (10:39):
And this is after a loss in which I was
here anchoring last night, I must hear Sugarin of everybody
who was listening, apparently, but uh, you had the Pelicans
and the Kings, two teams that if you add their
win totals together to day, they don't have forty wins combined. Right,
They like they're there. The Kings are the worst team
in the NBA, who just lost to the worst team.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
In the NBA. There's no positive to talk about, right,
what would like?

Speaker 6 (11:07):
What do you want me to say here, Russell Westbrook,
I get it maybe, And there's people saying Russell Westbrook
shouldn't be on this team going forward. It is not
necessarily an affront to you personally, but more along the
lines of the team building aspect of the whole thing.
This team has won nineteen games. They've won nineteen games.

(11:27):
This is a laborer love for everybody at this point.
Everybody's being a professional because you know those people in
the locker room, I mean, I'm sorry in the press
room covering the team did not sleep as kids thinking
our dream as kids, thinking, man, I cannot wait to
cover the worst team in the NBA. You're watching Michael
Jordan hit the free throw line, jumpers over Craig El,

(11:49):
watching him up over Bier, Russell thinking, man, I can't
wait to ask champions questions, right, Like, if you know
that's your dream to be in the media, it's like
you can't wait to be at the moment and when
somebody the confetti's falling down and somebody's yelling something, So
how did it feel that's what that's what you would
think about. It's like we think about moving to California.
People are envisioning the West Side, not Boile Heights. You

(12:12):
know what I'm saying. People think about the ocean and
Santa Monica. Like you may be out there that's still LA,
but that's not what you were dreaming about. Right, So
I'm not even trying to take a big knock on
a neighborhood. But when you're in Sacramento, you are not.
You were dreaming about covering the best teams in the NBA,
and you want you would love it if the team
you were covering was one of those.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
But I just I don't understand, Like what does he
get out of that? Like it just doesn't make any sense.
You're right, do you know what we used to go
to practice? When I started covering the NBA, Martin? They
used to let us watch practice, Okay they did, then
they cut us out of that.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
So what do you want us to do?

Speaker 10 (12:49):
Right?

Speaker 2 (12:50):
And if we don't know anything, we have to ask.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
If you don't tell me, as a reporter, what do
I or a columnists?

Speaker 2 (12:56):
What do I have to do? Martin?

Speaker 1 (12:57):
I have to come up with something and guess or
figure it out for myself because you won't take an
interview or you won't tell me with what's going on.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
So there's two options.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
You cooperate and give us the information that we're looking for,
and when you don't, I have no option. I have
to figure it out myself. And that's where stuff like
that happens. But this idea of punching down on nameless,
faceless reporters and people just doing a job is mind
boggling to me. That to me, honestly, that's what you

(13:30):
want to do fifteen years into the big league. Seriously though,
because you're sitting there and he's talking about unfair like
the Kings, he's talking about being a leader of this team.
And listen, I'm not gonna sit here and say I've
watched even twenty Kings games this year, right like I
have it. I've been locked out those guys in that
I've never missed a King's game exactly.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
But but you have an opportunity. He calls usself a leader.

Speaker 6 (13:52):
I agree, right, he's just off the strength of those
kids who were playing now grew up watching Russell Westbrook
in Oklahoma City, right, go to the like so I
agree that his voice probably carries a good deal of
wait in that locker room. So instead of being like,
you know, the media is the worst, this that the
third blah blah, why are you not big enough? What

(14:12):
they should be talking about, because ultimately this is the
thing that every athlete needs to understand. You are the
one with the microphone, right, that's a whole new the
new media. This or we're taking back the narrative. We're
taking back the narrative. No, people are writing exactly what
you say into that microphone.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
If you say whatever you like.

Speaker 6 (14:31):
Anthony ArKade Cunningham, remember the GQ article, He's like, no,
I think I'm the best American in the NBA. Nobody
paraphrased that. Nobody, they quoted it. It's a cool quote,
that's what he said. And half the time, even more
than half the time, now we got video of seeing
you say it. Right, So it's like when you're coming through, like,
if you want to control the narrative, Sacramento Kings, Russell Westbrook,

(14:53):
do that, then set the tone because you have the
opportunity after every game.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Hey, I'm gonna tell you I've been around this league
for a long time.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
I know we lost to the Pelicans, or the bad
loss for us, whatever, whatever, But let me tell you
there are two young players who are going to be
good in this league. And let me tell you about
Joe Blow, let me tell you about Bill Smith and
what they did that maybe you didn't see in the game.
These guys can play and in two or three years
this will be a better team.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
That's a story, and that's that.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
That's something you can do rather than just coming into
a press conference and pointing at the media and blaming
them because you lost.

Speaker 6 (15:31):
So don't because don't be the complaint. Be the change,
Be the change because you could have been. You could
have been instead. This is but you've been every single
time you've ever had an opportunity in front of the
media and Rob.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
The fast thing I'll say is I just it's sad to.

Speaker 6 (15:47):
Me that for a career that has the driver's license
in terms of age, that you have thought like a
big entity of it was always out to get you.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Like it doesn't make any that doesn't even make sense,
out to get you. You've had this great life, made
all this money, top seventy five player, going to go
into the Basketball Hall of Fame, and you're worried about
four sports writers in Sacramento?

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Really after you lost to the Pelicans eight.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven nine nine.

Speaker 2 (16:17):

Speaker 1 (16:20):

Post it right after you get off the show. But first,
we got some breaking news with mister Steve de Seger.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Breaking news from Fox Sports.

Speaker 11 (18:10):
The Raiders are trading edge rusher Max Crosby to the
Baltimore Ravens for two first rounders. The one for this
year is number fourteen overall. It's not official till next week,
but certainly in place. Deal Raiders, Crosby to the Ravens.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Back to you, all right, Steve, thank you Martin your
first idea. Take on this because I love it. If
I'm a Ravens fan, are you kidding me.

Speaker 6 (18:34):
My first take, I haven't completely digested the Ravens part
of it. My first take is I don't think a
single move the Raiders have done since Tom Brady and
John Spytech took over and have made sense, like in
a vacuum trading Max Crosby today. I understand the logic.
You can build up for next season so on, and you're
going to get two first round picks right this year

(18:57):
next year. When we watch teams every year ago from
worst the first, you're drafting a quarterback with the first
overall pick. We assume at this moment in time, if
you're doing that, your clock starts immediately. I don't know
how it makes you better tomorrow to trade Max Rosby,
Like unless the guy you get in twenty six for
that first round pick is a stud, but.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Unless there's another part of it. He didn't want to
be there.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
And you know, like Pat Roley once said when he
was coaching the Knicks, and I'll never forget it, either you're.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
In or you're out.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
And once somebody's out Martin, you got to move on
from him, even though he's a great player.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
Do you know?

Speaker 2 (19:35):
That's why I was asking. But That's why I say
the Raiders things with you, you know what I mean, Like
somebody guy has the Raiders logo tattoo on for life.
I got it.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
But he once he asked out and he was really
mad at the organization. You remember when they wanted to
shut him down at the end of the year and
didn't want him to play, and he went away from
the facility.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
All I'm saying, if I'm a Ravens.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
Fan, though I'm a static like to get a player
of that cou you're serious about it, like this is ridiculous.
That team was way too good Martin to have not
been able to get to a Super Bowl. Like by
this point, you got a quarterback who's a two times
could have been easily a three time MVP all these
other things, and I.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
Just say a three time All Pro.

Speaker 6 (20:20):
It is three times every other everybody else got the
numbers that.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Up, right, three time All Pro, Like like to be
the best quarterback in football three times in his career,
to be that young, and then some of the other things.
It's always something going wrong here, but but Crosby is
a right. That ain't a wrong, you know, Like there's
always something When they lost the game to the Steelers
field goal kicker, mister field goal. And then you remember

(20:46):
when they lost to Buffalo, they had a two point
convergion dropped, you.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Know, like a lot.

Speaker 6 (20:54):
I had a guy like Max Crosby to me when
me and Robb you were talking about this before the show, like,
a great pass rusher is equivalent to a great closer
in baseball. But the tricky thing about a closer if
you never are leading going into the ninth inning, you
got the best one in the world, it doesn't matter, right,
And so that's why I think that on its face,

(21:16):
of course, you tell him you're adding a top five
pass rusher to a team with Super Bowl aspirations.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
I said, yes, two thumbs up. That's a good idea
rob G.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
From the Raiders perspective, rob G, of course is our
Residents Raiders fan. So just you know, you knew what
was coming, you knew what was gonna be painful. But
now are you mad at it? Are you happy because
you got the first round picks? And do you follow
him to the Ravens as a fan? Like I'm not
saying you kind of call me the bo Bentzon the

(21:45):
Fox Sports Radio. Oh don't you put that out there. No,
Martin is so righty cancer and left right now. The
Tom Brady era of Raiders football has been basra It
has been trash.

Speaker 4 (21:56):
He has been horrible. He has no idea what he's
doing at the lead decision maker. You guys touched on it,
Tom Brady, and this is not opinion, this is factual.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Look it up.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
Had a personal decision. It was his decision. They ran
it by him. He handpicked Pete Carroll fired after year one,
and we knew that was a bad high from jump
Chip Kelly, not only bringing him up from college, making
him the highest paid coordinator in football. Didn't even make
it through the season. Gino Smith dumped after one season.
They paid him fifty eight million dollars the equivalent in

(22:27):
one year for Gino Smith.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
And that's after part of it too. They vetoed Sam.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
Darnold exactly, and now you trade away your only good player,
a guy who, to Martin's point, wanted to be a
Raider so much so he got a tattooed on his body,
so much so that when they tried to shut him
down and get the number one overall pick, he said, no,
I don't do that. I played football. I'm here to
win games. Put me out there, and they said no.

(22:55):
And now you're going to have on the heels of
last season drafting a running back in the top ten
when we have no offensive line to speak of. They're
all in now on a quarterback in Fernando Mendoza, who
most people who cover the league and are scouts and
gms if he's decatives, all agree that if this was
two or three years ago, he's like the fifth quarterback.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Take it right.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
But Tom Brady sees this guy who's six' five kind
of like, me kind of an underdog just like, me
really an athletic just like, me but he's really smart
just like. Me he's gonna be just like. Me, no
it doesn't work like, that. Bro you Have Bill belichick
calling defense for twenty years with the top five defense
every year go to The Super. Bowl you Have Bill
belichick still in the signs from all these teams so
you can get to The Super bowl year after. Year

(23:36):
and Now Tom brady's gonna fly in in between calling
games For fox and playing flag football with The paul,
brothers and he's expecting us to have a winning. ORGANIZATION
i don't get, it, Man this is.

Speaker 6 (23:47):
Embarrassing this would be a shorter flight that's not In
Sauid arabia.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Anymore that's, right it's pretty. Bad but you talked About
Max crosby's. TATTOO i Think. ALEX i Thought alex had

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Younger SO i don't disagree with that energy.

Speaker 6 (25:41):
Though but when you have a new, ownership that's my
only thing is when you have a new ownership, group new, head,
coach new, whatever at a certain point you do have
to start, winning and you it's hard to win without.

Speaker 12 (25:52):
Good is their chance to start?

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Over And, JOE i don't know they.

Speaker 12 (25:57):
Get it depends on who they get for their draft.
Picks but to be, judge in a couple of, years
if they get an Offensive jacko somewhere along the line
and they get another edge rusher next. Year, man look pretty?

Speaker 2 (26:09):

Speaker 6 (27:46):
INCREDIBLE i wish there was some type of way to,
Know LIKE i know that.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
There are shows that put people to, sleep but you
know What i'm, Saying BUT i want to know LIKE
i would.

Speaker 6 (27:55):
Know this is BECAUSE i was thinking to say, THAT
i think the. Opposite my man's in a, coma, right
so they got his vitals, locked they got the tracking
his vitals, right, Right so if HE'S i want to
know if it's spiked at certain, points you know What i'm,
Saying like if at certain points like after The seahawks
won The Super bowl And rob K vidders And ship
doing a lot of, That like if they's spiked in that, MOMENT.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
I could just see. It let you just do this
if you were in a. Coma let's wiggle your right
toe and. Caution all, right let's.

Speaker 6 (28:24):
Take brandon in, riverside uh around out the Called, brandon

Speaker 10 (28:52):
Everybody i'm gonna telling. You, hey as a as A bear, fan.

Speaker 14 (29:01):
And we sucked for many.

Speaker 10 (29:03):
Years so until after this past, YEAR i always rooted
for The ravens because Of lamar AND i was, like,
oh and WHEN i just heard that, news, OFF i
really think they can make it to The Super bowl
now BECAUSE i picked them every year for the past five.

Speaker 14 (29:19):
Years went a football. FOOL i get.

Speaker 10 (29:22):
In i'm like The ravens because you have that type
of quarterback and. Defense for the last two Years i've allowed.

Speaker 14 (29:29):
Them they lost like plenty of games for.

Speaker 10 (29:32):
Them, Yeah lamar and the, offense, well you know they'll
run up the.

Speaker 14 (29:35):
Score they'd be a three. Touchdowns then you know they
lost the game because they gave up three to four.
Touchdowns three touchdowns with a field goalf you that's a
great it's a great pickup for. THEM i love that
for the, organization And i'm glad they made. That i'm
glad they went for it is a difference.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
MAKER i.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Agree and you can't keep Thinking lamar is gonna be young,
forever you know WHAT i? Mean, like you don't want
to waste a window that you, have and and The
chiefs are going the other. Way you start looking around THE.
Afc are you really afraid of The? Patriots you know
WHAT i mean to? Say we can get. There it can.
Happen SO i love.

Speaker 6 (30:14):
It just some context. Here this is the first time
in The ravens thirty one year history they've traded a
first round used a first round pick to trade for a.
PLAYER i find that kind of, interesting especially when you
consider that brain trust has been In baltimore for quite some.
Time this is not something that they. Do and Also
Diana rassini with an interesting. One both The ravens and

(30:35):
The Dallas cowboys had been working on this for, days
keeping communication with The. Raiders The jaguars were another team
trying to put together a big package that would get it.
Done i'll tell you, this if The cowboys have made this,
MOVE i would have hated. It you're trading all these
first round picks just to get a little bit. Older
that would have been. Bad but, UH i like this
for The. RAVENS i like this when you got. It

(30:57):
if you have A Super bowl, win if you have
a team that you thinking in The Super, bowl you
have to have two.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
THINGS i, mean obviously you have the quarterback.

Speaker 6 (31:03):
Already you got to have a really good, kicker and
you gotta have a really good pass rus kicker is.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
Right too big. TIME i think people, sleep people, overview
people blow past. It every year and special, teams we'll
see Him.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Loseary you wouldn't be talking About Tom brady because Those
Super bowl winning. Kicks if he missed two of those
or missed you know WHAT i, mean it's a whole
different conversation About Tom. Brady drove him down to the
twenty yard line and then vanitary, mix missed the, kick
and you.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
Lose The Super.

Speaker 6 (31:31):
Bowl all YEAR i was, SAYING i don't think The
rams are true Super bowl contenders because they're special teams
and the biggest game of the.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Year they show up all, right last call time coming
up On The Odd.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Couple, uh and we want to hear from you eight,
seven seven ninety nine On. Fox anything you want to
get in will do that and much. More it Is
