Hi, this is Jordan Rich with Connors Rose Corner, and
today we're talking wine with our good friend Ken Hoggins
of Ken'swineguide dot com. Ken, how about some suggestions for
summertime dinner wines.

We'll start with a Ziada twenty twenty three savignon blanc
from Napa Valley. It's thirty five dollars. This was my
favorite savignyan blanc from a recent blind tasting with a
tasting panel. It was nicely balanced, smooth, graceful and seamless.
Loved the passion fruit poached bear flavors in there with
some gooseberry and lime. It's pretty complex. Certainly a savignon

blanc that you can enjoy on its own, but for
that summertime dinner, it'd be an excellent pairing with the
Zuni Cafe roast chicken.

Okay, I know you have a second choice. What is it?
Speaker 2 (00:43):
This is an impressive rose from GoldenEye twenty twenty three
vin Grie pinot noir from the Anderson Valley for thirty
eight dollars, scored at ninety three plus points. Teresa and
I love this wine a lot. We went away and
killed the bottle pretty quick. Medium plus bodied, balanced, round,
crisp and bright. Tasty, mild grapefruit flavors in there, some

gentle red raspberry flavors, stone dust and tangerine finishes. Dry
its flavors in a city, we're very refreshing, terrific rose.
Pair it with steam muscles with garlic wine broth.
