Hello, summer lovers, and welcome to Connoisseur's Corner. This is
Jordan and joining me today is Ken Hoggins. He's got

And Ken, let's touch on a very important topic. Wine
suggestions for the beach in the pool.

Yeah, covering a lot of white wines these days, and
we're going to start with a Sauvignon blanc from martin
Borough down in New Zealand. The Craigie range twenty twenty
four to mouna twenty six dollars or less. Probably could
even get it right around twenty scored at ninety three
plus points. Listeners will find it to be medium bodied,
balanced around very mouth watering, some light white ripe fruit

and lime flavors in their little ginger tea saline and
mera lenin. Finish is dry. It's flavors and acidity linger
and are nicely sustained. Other than just bringing this to
the beach and enjoying it, if you've got some food
with you, have a nice grilled swordfish sandwich.

Yeah, last time I told you about Fingerlakes dry styled reslings.
This time I'm going to bring you to Australia, to
the Claire Valley. Recently covered the twenty twenty four Jim
Barry water Veil rasling sixteen dollars absolute steel, light plus bodied,
integrated plus acidity, bright, fresh, viscous. Panel loved the lime
and tonic water flavors with some white pepper and green

apple and a little bit of grape pith in there.
Flavors in dacidity are very refreshing, which is perfect for
summer with food. This would go perfectly with some broiled scallops.
