Here at Bridgewater State, I pose the question, how would
you like some free tuition?

Leslie lives in Brockton and is on campus dropping off
her granddaughter, who's a commuter student. Her eyes lit up
when I told her about the school's plans for free
in state tuition roughly eleven thousand dollars a year beginning
next fall.

Especially what the economy it is now and how much
it is to go to college.

Now, there are certain qualifications. Household incomes have to be
under one hundred and twenty five thousand dollars, But for
students who take part in the program, which will be
called Bridgewater Commitment, it will offer one of the most
affordable four year degrees in the state for students here
who qualify. This is the cherry on top of an
already great experience.
