It's been the scourge of humanity ever since we crawled
out of the primordial soup and started walking around on
two legs, planting a foot in one of the not
so little Green and White Birthday presents. Geese leave lying
around everywhere. Well, now those feathery miscreants are getting a
dose of futurism.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
It just takes pictures of the dock every few seconds
and identifies what's in the picture.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Andrew Roy's a retired engineer in a rower at the
Riverside Boat Club in Cambridge. He's cooked up an AI
powered goose shoer that sprays a shower of water when
it spies one of the egg laying fimes. It's been
a huge problem there.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
I have seen fifty geese on this dock at one time,
and they will hang out for three or four hours
and they will poop all over the dock.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Now, the geese get there down ruffled, but they come
away unscathed. And despite my best efforts at a goose impersonation,
and if I were to just like crouch down like this, yeah,
