The city's electric Delivery Bike voucher program is the brainchild
of Stephanie Grohle, Assistant Commissioner of Transportation Planning.

Businesses that apply for this program can receive up to
five thousand dollars towards the purchase of an e cargo
delivery bike.

The goal is to help small businesses impacted by the
COVID nineteen pandemic shift away from using cars or third
party delivery.

And that helps save them money because the third party
delivery companies take a cut of the profit, so this
program can help businesses keep all of the profit for themselves.

She says. It can also help business owners and customers
who want to be more environmentally friendly. The deadline, however,
