Medford Public Library Holds 'History Of Nintendo' Open Event

If we work with many schools, colleges, libraries where we
go to a lot of different places. We'll go at
cons and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Max Silvestri is with One Up Games, which is a
video game store that has virtually every console you can
think of, and they're not collecting dust on the show.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
It's just really great and I'm really glad that the
library has a space for this, and it's kind of
I'm sure like draws kids, you know who might not
be here otherwise.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
They've got consoles booted up and ready to play at
the Medford Public Library with a blur up to the
side explaining each's history. Some kids are used to older
games like Super Mario World, Mario Kart Double Dashed because
of emulators, but others are learning the blow on the
cartridge technique to clean out dust and how to play
with corded controllers for the first time.
