Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Let's go around the room.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Oh, totally surprising. He's in such a good mood. I
wonder why, what's up, Scotty, what's on your mind?

Speaker 3 (00:15):
To that?

Speaker 4 (00:15):
Then I didn't know I was doing this. I'll tell
you what I'm doing this weekend. My girlfriend Megan and
I are driving to New Hampshire to see Darius Rucker
and George Burge. Very excited. We're going to go see
a country concert in New Hampshire. It sounds awesome. Yeah,
that's awesome. Well, she's always wanted to see Darius and
Hoodie and the Blowfish, never had the chance, and this
is as close as we can get, so we're going there.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
I gotta say, I've known you for how many years?
Oh god, thirty something, yeah, thirty one. I've never seen
you as happy as you are today.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
I don't think it gets any happier than this, I
really don't. I'm at peek happiness.

Speaker 5 (00:49):
And Megan happy too. I saw her in the hallway
just before and she seems happy. You haven't pissed her
off yet.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
It's happiness. I'll tone it down, okay, froggy, what's on
your mind today?

Speaker 6 (01:01):
I need you guys to tell me who's right and
who's wrong in this case.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
You know you do this three times a week. By
the way, there's you're always You're always wrong. You're always wrong.
Not this time.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
So our doctors, the new doctor's office that we're going
to here in Tampa, we were outside of there and
they had like they must have a hundred plumeria trees,
which is like the trees you see in Hawaii. They've
got the flowers that almost look plastic, but they're real. Well,
you can supposedly cut a root off and just put
it in the ground and it will grow. Yesterday we
went back there to drop off paperwork. He says, like,

(01:32):
bring your tremors. I'm like, why, I want to cut
part of the root off to put one in the ground.
I'm like, no, that's stealing. I'm not going to go
to the doctor's office and cut a root off and
bring it home. It even there's signs in the parking
lot that says it's under surveillance. I'm not doing that.
That's theft.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
Correct, Yeah, I can.

Speaker 7 (01:50):
Ask them if you can.

Speaker 6 (01:51):
Well, the building management isn't there at the doctor's office.
I'm not no, I'm not doing I'm not going there
and stealing anything.

Speaker 7 (01:57):
Wasn't going to wait.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
She wants you to take part of the root, though,
you say.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
Yeah, like cut it out, like cut a piece off
of a tree that's in the ground and take it home.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Well, if it's a piece that's hanging.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
No, no, you're you're actually right from ones. Absolutely, thank
you very much. That's stealing and I'm not going to
jail for that.

Speaker 7 (02:14):
I agree with Lisa.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Get the flower.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Oh, do not listen to Gandhi ever.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Good for the earth.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
You want more flowers, more trees, you can have more
bees around to feed.

Speaker 7 (02:26):
It's a good thing. It's just a flower. Not killing it.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
You're stealing it. You're stealing it.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Ask someone or leave a note, Hi, I took a
part of your flower.

Speaker 7 (02:35):
If you want to let.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Me know, I don't know, you know what. The more
I know Gandhi, the more I I'm afraid to turn
my back to her. Oh my god, thank you, thank you.
I was speaking of Gandi goddif it's on your mind today.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Hello, all right, Daniel Froggy and I were just talking
about this off the air. So the world Cup is
in town. That means you're gonna see tons of people
from tons of places. Forty eight countries are in in
the United States, and that means there will be jerseys
people representing all different places.

Speaker 7 (03:02):
Do not be the person.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Who yells at them to go back to where they
came from. They are here because we invited them for
a reason, and that is a crazy thing to do.
There are guests, they're going to go back when they
want to go back, but they came to support our
economy and see a beautiful thing happening. The World Cup
is a huge deal. Don't be that person that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Here's an idea. Don't tell anyone to go back to
the country, no matter why they're here. We actually had
a text with someone who was wearing the Mexico jersey
at Target yesterday and someone told them to go back
to their country. Are you kidding me?

Speaker 7 (03:35):
That's a crazy thing to do. Don't be those people.
Enjoy it. Invite people and treat them well and it's nice.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Yesterday it was someplace and there were people with four
different countries represented on their cats, on their jerseys.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
It was the coolest thing.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
They were all talking about the matches and how excited
they were.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
It was awesome. That's what it's all about.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Let's go back to Texas. You're not a New York
here exactly, j Lo me to go back to Texas, Jack,
to where you came from. People are texting and saying
it's not stealing. Take a branch, Take a branch. Plants
can be propagated. Take a branch. But you know they
said that she she wants the roots too.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Though.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
What if everybody in town went and propagated that plant
they did, no plant left.

Speaker 7 (04:18):
Imagine how pretty the town would be.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
How can you argue with that? Okay, Danielle, what's on
your mind?

Speaker 5 (04:26):
So yesterday I pull into my driveway and on my
lawn is a ten foot inflatable messy holding a soccer
ball and it's you know, it says Lows on the
front because I think he sponsored by Lows.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Tell him to go back to his country, exactly.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
I said to my husband, He's like, we're going all
out in this house. So, I mean, my house is
so decked out for World Cup right now. There is
soccer stuff everywhere. It's Last night he was hanging an
England flag in the living room and I can't keep
all this stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
I can't. We have so much Chobe. We are like
Chochki family. And I walked downstairs and yes, chairs like
that looks pretty good? Like, oh, like, I love this.

Speaker 5 (05:04):
So we decorate our house where we buy something cool
everywhere we go. It doesn't matter for matches. If it
means something to us, it's in the house, and that's
what it's all about.

Speaker 7 (05:12):
Who cares?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
So should have you ever come in and say your
house is messy? It literally is?

Speaker 3 (05:16):
It?

Speaker 7 (05:17):
Really is?

Speaker 4 (05:17):
All right? This?

Speaker 5 (05:18):
So we're looking And actually the neighbors were so excited
that he was on the lawn yesterday. They were very
happy to see our ten foot messy standing.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
On You better.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Thank god you don't live in a ho a neighborhood.
They would you would be killed. Scary. What's up with
you today? I just want to wish my dad, Tony
Skeary a very happy eightieth birthday, tomorrow's birthday, and I
know he shares it with our friend Greg t and

(05:47):
your husband Alex. Oh yeah, oh my god, Tomorrow's Alex's birthday.
Thanks for mind, but happy birthday to Tony, Happy birthday,
Greg tea birthday to Alex what's up with you today?
Straight day? Today's a big day, National Jerky Day. What's
your favorite dried meat? Elvis? I have so many dried

(06:15):
meats on my mind. I little turkey jerky. I love
a good turkey jerk. Yeah, a little beef jerky. You
can jerk pretty much anything, So do yourself a favor
and your meat. You can jerk any meat. Dry at
your meat and just jerk it and have a good time.
It's so good, it's such fun. It's so full of protein.

(06:35):
You don't realize that. Put it in your brotea. I'm
gonna chop up. I'm gonna chop up some jerky. Put
it in my protein. There you go. Wow, this is
the strangest day ever. I feel like maybe I'm still
asleep and this is a nightmare. All right, let's three
things we need to know?

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Is it here?

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Let's do three things we need to know from Gandhi
Live from Charlotte. Thank you to everyone in Charlotte at
the iHeart Studios for taking care of Gandhi today. All right,
three things? What's going on?

Speaker 7 (07:06):
All right?

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Iran's state media says no deal has yet been reached
on any piece with the US.

Speaker 7 (07:11):
But that there's a possibility it could happen.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
President Trump announced yesterday that he had canceled planned strikes
in the area because a deal was imminent, to the
point where he said it could be signed as soon
as this weekend. The man accused of killing a Minnesota
state lawmaker and her husband pleaded guilty to federal charges yesterday.

Speaker 7 (07:29):
We remember this story.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Right, Vance Bolter was charged with shooting and killing Minnesota
Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark. State Senator John Hoffman,
his wife Yvette, and their daughter Hope were also injured
in a separate shooting. The judge accepted the recommendation from
the government of two consecutive life sentences plus forty years.
And finally, a family of four was rescued after a

(07:52):
ride malfunction at six Flags Saint Louis left them stranded
over one hundred feet in the air.

Speaker 7 (07:56):
Does it seem like this is happening more and more lately?

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Does crazy?

Speaker 7 (08:01):
Yeah, there's been a lot of malfunctioning rides lately.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Authorities say the issue with the sky with the Park's
Skyscreamer ride Thursday evening left two adults and two teenagers
suspended about one hundred and twenty feet above the ground.
They were stranded up there for almost three hours until
Cruz got a high angle rescue operation going to bring
them back down.

Speaker 7 (08:20):
Thankfully no injuries were reported. And those are your three things.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
But what a beautiful view?

Speaker 3 (08:26):
Yeah, for three hours you had that view, just dangling.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
If I'm upside down for three hours, could you imagine
if you're upside down for three hours.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
That's not I don't think that's healthy. I mean, they
must have to come up and get you.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
I tried.

Speaker 7 (08:40):
Are you kemmy?

Speaker 5 (08:42):
Come on?

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Do we have a game? Can we have some fun?
Is there something fun we can do?

Speaker 7 (08:49):
Can we have a family feud? This feels like a
family feud day?

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Oh you want to do a fear? Come on morning?
You want to continue to argue? We haven't argued. Have
we disagreed? I don't know we have. You're on a gummy.
I don't know if you're gonna remember this. I think
I'm still effed up a little bit from that sleep.

(09:12):
That sleep gummy.

Speaker 5 (09:13):
I'm gonna if we call you tomorrow and just say
you said all this stuff, you won't even know you
would be like, well, I said that

Speaker 1 (09:20):
I'm sure I'll remember bits and pieces of that
