Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning, show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Around the room, and I'm gonna start with Danielle today. Okay,
what's on your mind?

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Someone try and keep it clean butt.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
My husband and I have a tendency to grab each
other private what, yes, will chase who?

Speaker 1 (00:19):
My husband and I?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
You grab each other's private?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Yeah, we chase each other around and we think it's
funny and we grab each other y.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Yeah, we think it's fun Okay, So I.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Sometimes forget where I am, so I'm going to apologize.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
I think they were listeners.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
To be honest, you grabbed the listener's junk with my
husband's junk. But I'm pretty sure the listeners saw it.
We were in like the Latte bakery place yesterday and
my husband and I were kidding around and I like
just grabbed it, and then someone turned around and looked,
and Sheldon goes, I think they're listeners, and I think
they just show.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
So you grabbed my junk.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
I just love you, honey, That's what it was all about.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
It.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
My son goes, I swear you guys, you really got
to stop.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
You grab your son's father's junk in front of me, and.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
He goes, this is a healthy relationship. See, your mom
and I love each other. So I apologize to whoever
you were.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I didn't offend.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
It was a price called Tate. They make gray lattes. Yeah,
so I kind of gray.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
She grabbed it out of love. I did. What's up
with you today, Proggy?

Speaker 4 (01:26):
You know, mine's kind of the same thing, except it's not.
It's not as much so much joy and love at least.
And I were in the grocery store on Friday night.
She ran over my foot with the cart and she goes, well,
move your foot. And the guy in the prose department
saw the whole thing happened. He looked at me and goes,
I'm sorry. I'm I'm like, you saw that right. I
did not do anything wrong. I just had my foot there.

(01:47):
He's like, yeah, she didn't even say she was sorry.
You didn't care.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
And see, I'm like, I have a witness. She finally
someone sees what pain you go through? Oh boy, I
have a witness.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
She laughing, didn't cares or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
I'm so sorry. What's up with you? Gandhi?

Speaker 5 (02:03):
All right, I have to say ask, no matter what
it is, always ask because the worst that's gonna happen
is somebody says no, and then you're in the exact
same position that you were when you started out.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
But if you don't ask, you're never going to know.
And I'm saying that.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Because over the weekend, you guys saw I had a
couple friends in town and they wanted to go to
a steakhouse. They wanted to go to Delmonico's, which is incredible.
Oh yeah, so our guy Dennis made us a reservation. Fabulous,
and then we get those automated texts that say, thank
you for your reservation, here's the dress code. And they
did not have the proper attire to go to this restaurant.
So they were like, no, no, what are we gonna do?

(02:35):
So I said, well, I'm just going to write back
and say, hey, thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
I'm really sorry.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
We're not gonna be able to go because of this
dress code unless you want to let us in. And
what did they say? We will make this exception for you.
That is, if you guys need to come in, no problem.
We know people are traveling and it's summertime. I don't
know that they're going to do that for everyone. So
I'm not recommending it, but just ask you never know
you miss one hundred percent of the shots you don't take.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Let's let's talk about this, Yes, let's talk about dress
codes at restaurant. Yes, I know there is a restaurant
here in New York City that requires gentlemen a jacket. Yes, right,
which is kind of unusual in this day and age.
It used to be a lot more. We went to
a great restaurant Saturday night and it said business casual.

(03:16):
I'm thinking, okay, so that's a pair of nice pair
of pants and a collared shirt.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
You know.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
A lot of the guys in there had caps on backwards,
caps and shorts. And someone was there's the guy wearing thongs.
Ow oh the slippers?

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Yeah, oh, I know what?

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Okay, So how streaked are they really? I mean, they
want they want business. They don't want to turn people away.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
I know some people are really hardcore about it and
will turn you away. It happened to us at a
restaurant in Miami. Brandon had shorts on and they made
us sit in a corner and he had to sit
so his legs weren't visible. They still let us in,
which was very nice of them. I think it used
to be like a status thing, right, like we want classy, professional,
well to do people, But now all of that has
changed so much that you can't tell somebody's status based

(04:08):
solely on what they're wearing.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
I don't know, right, It's like, remember that restaurant Miami
made me go back up and change because I had
a had on.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Yeah, yeah, that's right, yep, yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
I got really mad at them. I yelled at them.
You did, yeah, you did.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
I like it?

Speaker 2 (04:19):
So dress codes, do we like it?

Speaker 1 (04:20):
We don't like it?

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Yeah? No, I think it's for instance, when you go
to Carbone, for instance, Yeah, you know what you I
don't know. It's a show. You know. They are great
masters in the restaurant business at reminding you that it's
more than food. It's a show. It's a show, and
you're walking on to the stage to have dinner. And
so I think it's nice to dress you know it is.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
I also think, though, if you want athletes, if you
want artists and like eclectic people, you might need to
be a little bit more lenient with your dress code
because I can't picture them tossing on like a tucks
or whatever to show up for dinner right.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
The restaurants I had got. I mean, if I'm wearing
cutoffs and Daisy do, that's where I go cut off.
I mean, hey, scary, what's up with you today.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
If there's one thing I do to test about summer,
it is applying sunblock. I hate it. It's prevented me
from going to the beach before I will sit home.
Sometimes I don't like the feel of it. It's gross. However,
I discover I hate I hate the application of it
in the way it feels on my body. But I
will say this. I discovered this product called super Goop.

(05:29):
It's Maria Sharapova, the tennis star. It's her line of
I swear to you weightless clear sunblock. You squirt it
out of the tube and it goes on clear, and
I swear to you, within five seconds, it's gone in
your skin and your skin is bone dry.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
It's a rub in.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
But there's also a roll on too, and I and
again it's thirty or thirty forty fifty. They have to
three of them. The thing is not to be confused
with Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop. This is Maria Sharapova is super good.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Guys, girls. This is the okay goop? Yeah, not super coop. Okay, Okay,
I'm gonna try it.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
I have some at home.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Do you like it?

Speaker 3 (06:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
I mean I think there's a lot of sunscreens that
kind of go away right away, but this could be
maybe different.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Do you see how red I am? Yes?

Speaker 1 (06:18):
You needed sunscreen this weekend.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
I forgot to apply. I was in Central Park all
day and I'm going I have a tould disappointment today.
She's gonna yell at me.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Yeah, prepared for.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Being yelled at. Yes, because skin cancer is a very
serious Absolutely, he let me ask you this. So Alex
and are both going to her today. She's great. I
love doctor Burris. I can't wait to see you. Alex
has never been to her, but I talked to him
into going to her because she's that great. So since
we're married, it's like, are we gonna both go into
the room and be naked in front of her?

Speaker 5 (06:52):
I've still I've seen some videos that start out this way.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Not really, Because I said to Alice, is you know
I'll sit in while you're being sam He's okay, I'll
sit in while you're being zamed. I'm thinking this is
gonna be kind of creepy. Two naked guys in there,
and she was examining us.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
You're gonna have a good time.
