Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning show. Uh, what's our list of things
to do here? You won't go to around the room?
Go around the room there, big boy?
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Okay, number one on the list. I went around the
room with my own stuff.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Let's see what everyone's thinking about today, gandhy what's on
your mind today?
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (00:18):
I want to give a shout out to Rip Michaels
from wild'n Out. So I had Nick Cannon and Rip
come in yesterday and I did an interview with them
for a podcast that's coming out in the future. And
there was an incident with Rip and I, like eight
nine years ago where he came to Boston and I
ended up getting in trouble because he was late.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Long story.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
So I gave him crap about it as soon as
the interview started, because you know me, I like to
hold a grudge. And maybe ten fifteen minutes ago, I
was standing out in the hallway and who comes around
the corner but Rip with this massive bouquet of flowers
and a bottle of champagne in what appears to be
some sort of like Tiffany box, but I don't think
it is it's insane. He did it just to say
(00:59):
sorry for some thing from eight or nine years ago.
It is the nicest, like, holy cow. He didn't need
to do it. I did give him crap about it,
but this was so so nice. So rip Michaels, thank you.
You are incredible. I asked someone who's doing back in
the building. He said, just making good on things that
I messed up in my life.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Oh wow, that's amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Making amends eight years later. That never too late, though,
That's so cool. That's so cool, and that that looks
like a great gift he gave you. It's some sort
of strap on. What is this strap on?
Speaker 4 (01:26):
What is is a strap on?
Speaker 2 (01:28):
For sure?
Speaker 4 (01:28):
No, it's some sort of champagne that you have to
like undo from its harness.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
I don't, I don't I like that block.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
I'm too poor to know what's happening over here.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
There you go. Hey, by the way, uh, you were
hanging out.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
With uh see Nick Cannon and many others yesterday for
your new podcast.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
When is that one coming out?
Speaker 4 (01:45):
You know that one will be out next week, next Wednesday. Currently,
Curtis Lee was taking all the attention.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
From Curtis Curtis Lee What's what a superstar? That excellent
Danielle who also has her own podcast, where's your new
one coming out?
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Actually it's out right now. Is the makeup from Aladdin
and the Lion King. It's called the Oh my gosh,
thank You. Behind the Magic. I'm telling you today is
the day because I woke up late. My brain cells
are fried. It's called behind the Magic.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
Thank You.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Please listen to it. And next week I'm doing something
really really cool which I can't wait to talk about. Oh,
that's gonna be fun. But last night I went to
see a show called The Fear of thirteen. I know
that Gandhi had seen it earlier in the week, and
it's about this guy, Nick Yaris, who was convicted and
sentenced to death for a crime he didn't commit. He
served twenty two years on death row. Right, So Adrian
(02:36):
Brody's in it, Tessa Thompson is in it. They're incredible.
Nick is in the audience for some of these shows,
and I had seen him in a picture that Gandhi
had posts, so he was in the audience last night
when I was there. So during the show, I'm watching
him and watching the show, watching him and watching the
show watching his reaction to his story come to life.
At the end of the show. I mean, of course
(02:58):
they got a standing ovation. I was hysterically crying. It
was so emotional. But he said, what I want you
guys to do is I want you to go out
and just say something nice to one person today. Just
go out and say something nice to one person today.
It will make a difference in their lives. And it
was just so simple from a guy who spends so
much time behind bars for something he didn't do. And
(03:19):
I kind of just took it with me when I left.
And I think that's the reason why when I woke
up this morning and I was running late, I thought, whatever,
it is, what it is life, you know what I mean.
I woke up, I feel good.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Whatever.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
So thank you for the Fear of thirteen. Nick Harris,
Adrian Body, Tessa, it's amazing. Go see it, Nate, you
will love it. You need to go see it. And yeah,
it's on Broadway right now for a limited time.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
You know what a good point. You know, sometimes life
gets tactic. Yeah, and you just can't make all cylinders
work at the same time.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Oh well, I can't remember my podcast name. It's just
we're gonna get to the day. We're all gonna be good. Hey,
Froggy with you today.
Speaker 6 (04:00):
So I don't know if there needs to be a
class or whatever. There is, however, so recently, and it
appears to be worse recently, we went to some nice
restaurants when we were in Miami. I was in a
couple of gas stations on the way driving home, and
for some reason, there seems to be giant, massive puddles
at the bottom of men's journals in every bathroom I
(04:21):
go in, and I don't understand. What is the disconnect?
Speaker 2 (04:25):
I don't I got it. Their winners are so small
they don't.
Speaker 6 (04:28):
Reach stand a little closer.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
That's it. I don't understand.
Speaker 6 (04:32):
I don't want to stand in it.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
I was doing.
Speaker 6 (04:35):
I had to do a split almost to use the
bathroom the other day, and because I didn't want to
stand in a puddle, just either go to the toilet
or just there's got to be a class. I don't
understand what's happening. I can't be just me that's seeing this.
It appears to be a problem of greater occurrence recently.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
Do you think if they made mine go to the
bathroom barefoot? That problem will go away.
Speaker 7 (04:56):
Oh yeah, so I don't know about that.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
You know what, I don't know if you have to
have a class to teach men how to pee in
a urinal, I think that's just kind of sad.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
I don't know what. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
It's here too, you know, at iheart's urinal as well,
you know, But anyway, I don't.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
I don't. Why are you talking at a gas station
when you drop an electric car.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Because we get something to drink? You want to go
stand in urine? Hey, Nate, what's up with you today?
Speaker 2 (05:24):
So we all wash our hands after we go to
the bathroom. Right, wash your hands regularly?
Speaker 6 (05:29):
Right?
Speaker 5 (05:29):
How often do you wipe off your phone? This is
just a reminder you good for you your hands and
then wipe off your phone. You know, you are just
basically going back to square one when you wash your
hands and then you just pick up your phone with
that wiping it off. These things are justgusting. Yeah, wipe
them off, baby, especially about me. You know, I.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Clean my phone when I change the batteries, and my
smoke detector every time we change the clocks, oh wow,
twice a year. Never never forget Hey, scary, what's up
with you?
Speaker 7 (06:06):
A new episode of my Brooklyn Boys podcast drops later
this morning, and I.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Was you still doing that?
Speaker 7 (06:12):
Oh my god, it's going strong. I mean, you wouldn't
know because you're you don't listen to it.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
But I'm telling you, it's my son's favorite podcast.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
It is. I listened to it. There's a few people
still listening, I hope, so you know.
Speaker 7 (06:24):
Anyway, But that being said, if you never checked it out,
check it out. But we went to go record that
last night and I was in a rush too, and
I didn't have time to eat dinner. So I looked
at the back of my refrigerator and there was a
week old Chinese food and I'm sitting there. It was
noodles and dumplings, and I just said, oh should I?
(06:45):
Should I not? This is seven days old? So I
started doing it. So I sat down, I ate one dumpling,
and then I started talking to chat GPT, and for
the first time ever, chat GPT disagreed with me and
told me I needed to throw it out immediately.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
I freaked out so bad.
Speaker 7 (07:00):
I threw away the rest of it because no, no,
but I just don't know if it's a bad or
good thing. If they say bacteria goes grows quickly on
that stuff. They say, so seven days is wait too much?
I'm guessing I don't know if seven days is seven days,
what's what's the Really?
Speaker 1 (07:19):
I don't think I would. I don't think I would
wait seven days to eat it. But you are you
do you boo? You you kill you boo.
Speaker 7 (07:26):
I just don't know what the real expiration date is.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
But chat, I love how he said for the very
first time chat GBT disagreed with her.
Speaker 7 (07:33):
Well, because it always agrees with you. It always patronizes you, right,
doesn't it.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Yeah a lot.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Tell it to not just not agree with you and
it will stup a little.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Oh really.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
And by the way, you can hear the world famous
Brooklyn Boys podcast starring Brody and Scary episode Scary and Brody.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
It drops every week and there you go and there's
your around the room.
