Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Let's go around the room.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
I want to know what's on the mind. That was
what's on my mind? The erosion of my view.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Are you okay?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I'm triggered. It's gonna be okay. It's okay, Daniel. What's
on your mind today?

Speaker 4 (00:19):
So I got a new car recently, and unfortunately in
the first guy's gonna all laugh at me. And in
the first two weeks of having it, I had a
little incident.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Surprised of nobody, I didn't shut up talking.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
There was there was like a little divider on the
floor between the two parking spaces, and I did not
see it. It was there, and I went a little
too close to it. So, but Sheldon was away when
this happened. So when he came home, I said, hey,
we have to get this fixed. And he said to me,
I'm sorry, we're not getting it fixed. And I said
why and he said, because we're gonna wait and see

(00:55):
what else goes on.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Guess what.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
So two days ago, when we had that big storm,
something fell on the roof of my car. I think,
and I have a little dent on the roof of
my car, or somebody climbed on the roof of my
car and stood on it. And he comes outside and
goes say, there was a reason we didn't get the
car figs. He's like, look at this, but I didn't
do this.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
He's like, you can live with this. We're gonna wait.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
I'm like, yeah, I know when I wanted to look beautiful.
He's like, I don't even want to talk about it.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
When's the Irish State Fair mid August?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Okay, if you start driving to Des Moines, now, you
know at the Iowa State Fair that they get all
the cars together in the middle of the crash up derby,
the crash.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Derby pavey right there.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Your car's getting ready for it, getting ready for you're rehearsing, gandhi,
what's up with you today?

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Well, it's Wednesday, so that means.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
You I know who you're doing too.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Yeah. It was Nick Cannon and Rip Michaels and we
had a really good time. We talked for a while
about all kinds of stuff, including a new diagnosis that
he is working through. That's a fascinating one.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
That's tease.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
You have to listen if you want to know what
it is, and all kinds of other stuff, viral moments
of course, his kids and all the stuff that goes
on with it.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
But it was fun.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I had a really good time. So please go listen
to Sauce on the Side wherever you get your podcasts,
like the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
We love Sauce on the Side Wednesdays. Hey, uh, Foggy,
what's up with you today? So I don't know whether
this means today is going to be a good day
or a bad day. I'll tell you what happened. On
my way in I had a bunch of things in
my hand. I put my sunglasses on top of my
car and it was dark. I grabbed a lot of it.
I grabbed what I thought was everything, and I put
it in the car.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
On the way to work, I realized that I forgot
to put the sunglasses in the car. So all the
way there, I'm thinking, oh, they're gone. Whatever, there's another
nice pair of sunglasses gone. I got to work. Somehow
they had slid off the top of the car down
the bad glass and they were sitting in the area
between like that back thin area and my glass. Nice
lucky and I still got them. So does that mean

(02:51):
so I forgot them, but now they're saved. So does
that mean today's a good day? Or do I need
to be careful? It's a good day. It's a good day.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I would run down to the casino. Your luck is
with you today? Hard Rock Here, I come there. You go,
Hey Scattery, what's up with you?

Speaker 2 (03:07):
My Brooklyn friends must be smoking crack. We're going a
why okay, have.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Context. We're gonna watch the Knicks tonight. And they're like,
so we got an inn at a table. We got
the owner of the table. They said we could go
to O'Brien's. O'Brien's a block from the garden. I'm like,
you guys are crazy. There's gonna be road closures and chaos.
I'm like, look, I want to enjoy the game. I
want to be there in it, but I don't think

(03:36):
I want to be in the thick of it, and
I don't want to be in the belly of the beast.
So I think we're trying where the group chat's going
crazy now because we got to have make alternate plans.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
But I don't know.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
You must.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
You gotta be nuts to go up right now. It's
more fun when you win so funny.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
No no, no no, but there's gonna be all kinds
of disruptions, no way, And then what if there's another
one of those fiascos like they were.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
The other Okay, Connie cautious?

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Are you scared of Knicks fans?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Are you well?

Speaker 6 (04:03):
Oh they're monsters are orange?

Speaker 5 (04:05):
I'm good, but I'm just saying it's gonna be chaotic.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I'll never get get to work tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Then you should go. I vote you go, scary. It
depends on how much excitement you want. You know, there's
gonna be excitement there most likely, yeah, you know, or not.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Putting yourself into that situent. Okay, then don't go. I wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
I wouldn't go, you know me, I'd under my bed.
I gotta do every Halloween. Hey, what's up with you today?

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Nate? So?

Speaker 6 (04:33):
Our country is two hundred and fifty years old this year.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (04:37):
I finished a book called seventeen seventy six George Washington.
Obviously not perfect, as history has gone on to show,
but at the same time, what a fascinating guy and
with this guy had to work with. He had less
to work with than anybody in history. His second in command.
You know how he learned about the army and to
be a general. How's that he read it in a book?

(04:58):
Like nobody knew what they were doing? Nobody seriously, he
had no help. But he obviously one of the the
uh you know, fathers of our country. And what he
did is really quite fascinating. So if you have a second,
just go read about George Washington and what he did
to get this country to one year. It was really something.

(05:22):
They had nothing. Nobody wanted to be here. Nobody wanted
to do this. They had no shoes, they had nothing,
and they still managed to create a country house. Carry
O'Brien's wasn't even open. You have done the knicks I
got there.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
You go. It's true.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
You know what you think about their fight for independence
and uh well the people they were fighting weren't even
from here. They were from an ocean away.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
So there was.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
No uh you know, satellite phone to call over. I
waited another bomb, no seriously, So so everyone was at
everyone was at a disadvantage. There would be a battle
that would be lost and they wouldn't know it in
England until six months later. That's so crazy, right, I'm married?
Where is he he died on the battlefield. What was

(06:10):
his name. His head's in King of Prussia, his legs
in Virginia.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Anyway, there you go around the room
