Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
and the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Around the Room. This is my favorite time in the show.
I don't even have to vote on decisions for the show.
I guess I can just make a decision. We're going
to start doing these twice a day.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
What?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Can you guys keep up? Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
I don't think I have that much going on in
my life.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Well, you're going to have to make some... Make it
all right. Chat GPT. Here's why I love Around the Room.
Because it gives everyone an individual spotlight. In the show.
Because we do have a crowded room. And so when
we try to have our conversation sometimes, it gets really
crowded and it's hard to get your thoughts in. So
this is an opportunity for everyone to have their moment.

(00:45):
So let's go. Let's start with Gandhi. Around the room.
It's up to you. Go.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
I'm worried about myself because when I was home with
my mom and dad, they are obsessed with a show
called Columbo. Apparently they found some channel where it's like
on loop. It plays all day. They will stay up
until like one, two in the morning watching Columbo. And

(01:11):
I was like, well, I want to hang out with
my parents. So let's give this a shot. Not going
to lie. It's not a bad show.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
It's a good show.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
I was like, what is this?

Speaker 5 (01:19):
Columbo.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Columbo.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
And then I went and I did a deep dive
because I was like, what in the hell is happening here?
It was on in the 70s, then it went away,
and it came back.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Yes, absolutely.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
You all know this.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
It came back just like Columbo came back every single time.
And another thing. Peter Falk.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Go ahead.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Oh, no, that was it. Another thing. Peter Falk, the
guy who played Columbo, he was actually a big moneymaker
at CBS, at Television City, whatever. And we visited a
friend who had his old office, the Peter Falk office,
which was haunted. Crab was flying across the room every day.
Peter Falk was haunting his office. By the way, that's Falk, F-A-L-K,

(01:57):
if you're wondering. But yeah, he was famous wearing that
stupid trench coat. He would interview someone who he thought
was a murderer. Then he'd walk out the door. Then
he'd go, hey, one more thing. He'd turn back and
come in.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
That's good.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
And he dropped the bomb. I love that you're a
Columbo fan.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
Man, it was hilarious. All of the fight scenes.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Great. It was incredible. Next, look up the show Mannix.
You'll get into it. Oh, okay.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Nate, what's up with you? So ever look unhealthy like me?

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
You know, you look in the mirror and you're like, boy,
I just look sickly. It's because you're not tanned. So
yesterday I went and got a spray tan.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
And look how healthy and vibrant and vivacious I look.
Don't I look great?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
You do look vivacious.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
I thought it was high blood pressure when you walked in.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Yeah, because you've got a little tomato red face.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
Isn't it amazing how much healthier you are? you look
when you got a little color in your skin, right? Like, like,
like with a tan. I don't tan. I am one
of these people from whatever Scandinavian country. I, I, I
go out in the sun, I burn, I peel and
I get skin cancer. That's my routine. So when I
get a spray tan, I actually look like I'm alive.

(03:02):
So do yourself a favor. Get a spray tan if
you don't tan normally.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
I got the farmer's tan on my legs. Because you're
always wearing shorts and you don't wear a bathing suit
all the time. So you've got that little tan line
right where your shorts end.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
It looks so ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
I'm like, what is this?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Well, Froggy has golfer's tan because he wears these little
white socks. So he's like dark, burnt orange down to
his ankles, and he's translucent. You can see his bones
and his veins and his feet. Hey, we'll go to
Producer Sam. She's back around the room. Go ahead. All right.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Yes, my husband and I did have a baby, but
there is big news in my household otherwise.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
William had his first yogurt last week.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
What?

Speaker 3 (03:41):
What his first yogurt my husband had his first yogurt
ever oh my gosh it went a little too well
elvis there's no more room in my fridge he found
his new hyper fixation and what is that what is
that kind that we like oh icelandic provisions yeah whatever
that is it is delicious and and that's all we
i'm telling him he has to eat it for breakfast
lunch and dinner because he didn't check expiration dates like

(04:02):
dude you got to burn through this but my 36
year old husband tried yogurt for the first time and
now it's half of his personality.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
That's the best one. William's a healthy guy anyway, and
I think this will be right in line with everything
he's trying to do in his life. Big time for him.
Good for you and your birth of yogurt. Scary, what's
up with you today?

Speaker 6 (04:19):
I love when brands have big personalities on social media.
I love when they can make fun of themselves, poke
fun at others. So, of course, you know, Denny's does it, Wendy's. Yesterday,
of course, Apple releases its iPhone Duo. Well, you know
that the Samsung Galaxy has had it for several years now,
the foldable phone. So they write on X to Apple,

(04:41):
let us know when you're done reheating our leftovers.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Burn! Oh, man. And it got millions of retweets and watches.

Speaker 6 (04:50):
And I just think, I'm not a Samsung guy by
any stretch of the imagination, but shout out to you guys.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Hats off.

Speaker 6 (04:57):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
I love the Wendy's fights. Those are my favorite. They're awesome.
Wendy's gets snarky.

Speaker 7 (05:02):
Hey, Froggy, what's up with you today? So over the weekend,
we had an incident with our dog Rex. He had
the runs for quite some time. It was a very
awful situation. So on Saturday, we had to take him
to the doctor, and we called and said, hey, can
we bring him in? They said, yeah, but you'll need
to get a sample and bring it with you. I'm like, okay, well,
he's going to go again in any second, so I'll

(05:24):
grab one. So I'm like, how am I going to
grab this? I had to get a teaspoon and a
Ziploc bag and follow him around in the yard.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 7 (05:32):
I'm chasing him. He's trying to run away from me
because he's trying to do his business in private. And
I'm chasing him with a spoon and a Ziploc bag,
trying to get a sandwich.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I got it.

Speaker 7 (05:43):
But I would love to know what it looked like,
me chasing my dog around the yard with a.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Spoon in the bag.

Speaker 7 (05:48):
I would love to know where that spoon is. I
put it in the bag and gave it to the vet.
I'm like, here you go.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Contribution.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Jason.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Poor guy. Hey, Danielle. It's all you. What's up?

Speaker 1 (06:03):
So some of us have our parents still. Some of
us have one. Some of us don't have them at all.
But last night I took my mom to Practical Magic
2 to see the movie, to see the screening. And
it was kind of like a premiere because the whole
cast showed up. I'm just telling you, spend the time
with your parents when you can.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
I had the best time with my mom and she
is the cutest because she doesn't go to a lot
of these things. So, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman walk
right by her and it was, oh my gosh, I
gotta text Sheila and she's texting her girlfriends and she's
taking video and she was so excited.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
I just saw Sandra Bullock.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Look how beautiful they are. Look at Nicole Kidman. She's
so nice. She said that it was the cutest, cutest,
cutest thing ever and I had the best time with
my mom. So, Spend time with your parents when you
can because one day you're going to say, gosh, I
should have.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Believe me. Without doubt.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Without doubt. You know what? There's a big movement going on.
At least there's a reporting on this movement about kids
who are divorcing their parents and parents who don't talk
to their siblings. Whatever. And I just think that's a
scary thing. That's a scary road to go down. I
know politics in a family can be just horrendous. And
I never really had those in mind. So who am
I to say anything? But yeah, you know, you can

(07:17):
have these fights, these squabbles, but when they're gone, they're gone.

Speaker 6 (07:19):
Right.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
Poof.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Yep. They're gone. That was a good point. And by
the way, addressing your mother, Danielle, we took a vote
while you were in the bathroom. We voted she's cooler
than you.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I tell you, she's more social than me. She's lived
in my town a lot less, and she knows more
about the town and things than I do.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Crazy. She's great.

Speaker 6 (07:39):
Awesome.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
You know what? You hope and pray that your parents,
as they get older, are going to be just like
Danielle's mom.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
Yeah, definitely.
