Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning show.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Let's take a little trip. Let me see your passport. Oh, okay,
here it is. You're all approved. Let's go around the road.
Let's start with you today, Nate. What's on your mind? Okay?
Speaker 3 (00:18):
A lot of people are traveling, you know, for vacation.
Right is the summer months.
Speaker 4 (00:23):
Move on.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Here are two things to learn if you ever go
to a country that you don't speak the language. A
lot of people are intimidated. They don't know how to
speak French, German, whatever. Just learn we do you say
these two things? You say hello? You learn that and
I don't know how to speak your language. You learn
those two things, and I guarantee the person you're speaking
to we'll speak English back to you.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
Oh wow.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
So, for instance, France, boj junipa pap francais, Hello, I
don't speak French. That's all you need to know, because
you're greeting them and you're apologizing for not speaking their
life language.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
And then they'll take it from there. Trust me.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
At works, I've been to several different countries and I've
learned to say that phrase and many different languages and
It's always helped me.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Isn't that interesting how we're the ones that don't speak
the languages. Yeah, it's really sad, but they meet us
halfway at least. Very good, very good advice. Thank you
very much, you Nothaniel. What's up with you today? Froggy.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
This is just a reminder when you are in your car,
you're on stage, you are not alone. Yesterday I was
driving in the car and I saw this guy. He
had like a tray. He was eating a full on tray,
balanced on his belly and on the steering wheel, and
he was eating while driving. And I'm like, this is
so not safe. It's so unsanitary. Everything about this is wrong.
(01:42):
And that finally made eye contact with this guy. He
just gives me the like, what are you gonna know
about it? It's like whatever, I'm like, have a nice day.
I'm like, dude, when you are in your car, drive
and you're not alone, people can.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
See, just so you know, and be careful buffet. I mean,
really he was eating good a tray. He's eating it
on a tray though. That seems that seems very very organized.
Speaker 5 (02:06):
Me.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
What's up, Danielle, Mine's gonna be about language too.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
My son wanted to learn Spanish. He took like Spanish
honors in school.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
But he's like, yeah, I want of this.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
So we sign him up for Babbel, right, and he's
been using it and I'm telling you, he's now using
it everywhere and anytime we can go out about that,
he says, I'm gonna come home and I'm just gonna
speak Spanish. You guys are not gonna know anything that
I'm saying, and I'm just gonna this is gonna be
my new first language. He's so excited.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
So it's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
I love when, you know, especially kids take on something
cool like that, learn a new language and stuff and
embrace it. So it's a lot of fun that Babbel
really does work. And not an endorsement or anything that
I'm paying for this.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
We paid full price, okay for the record, Yes, hello, scary,
what's up with you?
Speaker 6 (02:56):
And most people will never experience this because they're but
their educated guests would logic would dictate that driving at
five o'clock in the morning is probably.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Really easy because there's.
Speaker 6 (03:10):
No one on the roads right wrong as a five
o'clock in the morning driver, that has got to be
the most treacherous time to drive.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Because they're on the road with these big ass box trucks.
Speaker 6 (03:22):
I got cut off by a cream O Land dairy trucks.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
They don't even look where they're going. They don't signal,
they just veer into the lane.
Speaker 6 (03:29):
And these delivery trucks are always in a rush to
get onto their routes and make their deliveries. So even
though there's far less traffic and far less cars on
the road at that hour, I'm saying that is the
most dangerous time to drive because these bastards don't look
where they're going.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
These Wow, you just called you just hold on. You
just called the Creamo Land dairyman a bastard. Yeah, that
guy was coming out of the Holland Tunnel.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
You know who you are.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
And I see you.
Speaker 6 (03:55):
Every morning at that time because I'm driving there too.
Why they swerving veering right?
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Okay, Okay, calm down, calm down, calm down, calm down.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
The road.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Okay, what's up with you today, Scotty Bee. Oh, mine's
kind of about dairy also. I'm oh good.
Speaker 7 (04:12):
You know, I try not to eat that much ice
cream anymore, but every once in a while you have
to have an ice cream Sunday. You know, they're good
for good times and bad times, Like two years ago today,
I had a depression Sunday at friendlies.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
And then just over the weekend we went out and
happiness Sundays.
Speaker 7 (04:28):
Like they're really good for both ends of the spectrum
of your emotions.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Hold on, hold on depression Sunday.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (04:35):
Yeah, when I broke up with a girlfriend like two
years ago, I went and I had a sad depression Sunday.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
And did it help you or did you just have.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Something just got fatter? You know what ice cream Sundays do?
We all agree they're all good. Yeah, okay, good, okay, gandhi,
what is on your mind today?
Speaker 4 (04:57):
So I was having a conversation with a friend the
other day and he said, you know, I love that
you're up for anything, but also down for anything.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
And I said, what is the difference?
Speaker 4 (05:05):
He was like, up for anything is like a positive
Hey let's go see a movie and dinner.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Yeah, I'm up for anything, let's do it.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
Down for anything is I know? I could say hey,
let's go keep this car in the middle of the night,
and you're like, yes, I'm down.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
There's a total difference between being up for something and
being down for something, and I just like that you're both.
And that made me laugh because I've never really thought
about it.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
But that's true.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Up and down are totally different connotations.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
I've never thought of that. Absolutely true. That's true. I'm
down with that. I mean, I'm up for that. I'm
up both right down to ride. Yes,
