you one more time.
Speaker 1 (00:11):

Speaker 2 (00:12):
These four pieces of sound of sound have something, I'm
gonna say, very important, something very important in common. What
is it.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
He's blowing in the wind.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Remember the last time that invited me to a hospital
coup of coffee?
Speaker 2 (00:39):
I was what did we get on this topic?
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Send me David Junior. All right, if you want to
get in touch with us, you know, as soon as
we text us whatever. What do those four pieces of
sound have in common? It is very important and it's
something that Gandhia put together for us. I'll like it
a lot, Okay, I mean, you know, even though Nate
prefers the Lost I conversation, say that what's is the
answer to this connections? Like right under our nose? Thinking
(01:04):
too deeply on it, because I'm like.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Way, no, I don't think it's right under your earth.
Are we gonna go? Oh yeah, no.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
You know what, You'll be happy you learned it. Let's
move on. Let's get out of the true things we
need to know. Gandhi, what's going on? All right?
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Negotiations between nurses and hospitals remain at a standstill as
the strike enters its tenth day. Nurses at New York Presbyterian,
Mount Sinai and Montefior say that they will be on
the picket line for as long as necessary as they
demand better healthcare benefits, safe for staffing, and protections from
workplace violence. Since nurses went on strike last week, negotiators
(01:37):
have only had one meeting and both parties remained divided
on every big issue. The hospitals have brought in freelance
travel nurses, with Mount Sinai releasing a statement saying to
ensure ongoing high quality care, it has made an additional
commitment to working with agency nurses.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
We talked about this a little bit.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
Millions are bracing for the arrival of a major winter
storm expected to bring ice and snow.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Are you excited?
Speaker 2 (02:02):
No?
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Okay, It's happening to.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
A giant part of the country this week, from Texas
all the way up into the Northeast. In the meantime,
a frigid Arctic air will continue to freeze parts of
the Midwest, the Great Lakes, and the Northeast. Forecasters say
that air comes ahead of a storm that will hit
much of the southeast and the east Friday through Sunday.
The National Weather Service says to expect snow, sleet and
(02:26):
freezing rain from the southern Rockies and mid South before
heading east. And Finally, several beaches across Australia were closed
Tuesday after four shark attacks in less than forty eight hours.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Three of the attacks happened off of Sydney.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
None of the attacks have been fatal, though one victim
is reportedly fighting for his life. Experts say bull sharks
were most likely behind these attacks. A scientist with the
Australian Marine Conservation Society said ocean temperatures have been warmer
than usual and runoff from heavy rain has actually sent
prey into the waters, which is making the sharks hunt
more right in those areas.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
And those are your three things.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Well, surprise, I think we may have an answer for connections.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
Okay, whoa, Okay, let me just do that.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Let's let's just uh, let's change our programming strategy and
go right to Katie. Okay, Katie is online too. U
Hi Katie, Hi, how are you? We're doing great? I'm
hoping that you do, in fact have the answer. These
four pieces of sound right here? Have something in common?
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Friend is blowing in the wind.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
Can't remember the last time invited me to a hospital
cup of coffee?
Speaker 2 (03:42):
All right? All four? All four of something in common? Katie?
What is it?
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Okay? So it's Bob Dylan, Harry Belafonte. Sorry, I'm at
work and I'm a teacher. So the bell just went off.
So it's Bob Dylan, Harry Belafonte, Marlon Brando, and Sammy
Davis Junior. They were all advocates for civil rights with
doctor King.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
There you go. Yeah, they all actually believed in him
so so much they marched alongside doctor Martin Luther King, Jr.
Isn't that correct? See? Oh you glad you learned that today. Okay,
I knew two of them.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
I'm actually a history teacher too.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
This makes sense.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
We love you for many reasons. What do we have
for our friend, Katie? She's just ticking off all the
boxes here, kat you we're gonna give you five hundred
bucks thanks to sand in your way, thanks to sandals.
I'll get it into all about sandals in a second. But congratulations, teacher.
I know, I know you got to go to the
bell ring but it's okay. Why you like teaching today? Well,
I won five hundred dollars on the show.

to help pay for a field trip for my students.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
I teach criminal justice and criminal law and I'm taking
my criminal law kids to the FBI headquarters and the
boss is just kind of extensive.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Wow. Okay, well then it's on the way. It's five
hundred dollars enough to carry.

love Katie.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Look at that. Love Katie had nothing to do with
eye loss. It was a great moment there.
