but we don't hear her. Yeah, she is in where Charlotte?
Where is she? I believe so yes, we believe she's
(01:32):
in a studio a city somewhere. We don't know where
she is, and we're trying to get north Carolina. Oh,
we love Charlotte. Anyway, we'll get her on in a minute. Hey, well,
welcome to Friday. The look the day after the kickoff
of World Cup. Give us the scores from the big game, Danielle.
Speaker 5 (01:47):
Well, last night Mexico beat South Africa to nil. That
was like the big game yesterday. There were two games,
but the other one no one was talking about, which
is sad. But anyway, and today we have the US
tonight nine pm. So it's gonna be fun. Canada first too.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Yeah, all right, well there you go. World Cup is happening. Yes, yes, Ricky,
I do, I do, Ricky, I really do want it.
This is the song that brought him back onto the
map years ago after his Manuverlough retirement. I love it.
Welcome to Friday, Yo, look at that you want? Yes,
(02:33):
I do? Thank you, Ricky, or as I say in
pig Latin, Icky Ray, I don't know where that came from. Hey,
welcome to the day. So Gandhi is in Charlotte in
a studio. They can't get it to work. But I'm
looking at her. She's texting us, but we can't call her.
We're calling, We're trying to call you. She can see me.
We're trying to call you. Hey, ghanhi, Ghani. Let me
(02:57):
help me. I don't know Andy, we are trying to
call you. We're trying to call you right out on
a piece of paper. She can see us.
Speaker 6 (03:09):
You are.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
It's so funny. So I was telling everyone listening, because
we have three listeners, as you know, uh, we can
see we can see you, but we can't hear you.
So I'm trying to tell you in sign language. We're
trying to call you.
Speaker 7 (03:27):
It's hard to read the sign language. But my dad says,
seeing me and not hearing me is the best.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Version of me.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Well, you know what I'm agreeing with, daddy. Hey, you're
you're in Charlotte for a wedding and we thought that
this hookup would work. You're at an iHeart studio and
I can't believe engineering at iHeart isn't working. It's kind
of unusual, you know.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
This side.
Speaker 7 (03:51):
There were like a thousand emails back and forth, and
everybody was super helpful and friendly, and yesterday they were like,
we're good to go. We're waiting to test with you
New York, and then New York never replied, so.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
Well, okay, that's unusual. Usually the New York crack engineering
team is always on it.
Speaker 5 (04:11):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 7 (04:13):
But then someone said they tested at four thirty this
morning and it was good, and then clearly it was not.
So I've done everything I could to get the day off.
Speaker 8 (04:21):
It's not working well.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
All right, Well, but you made it into the studio,
so I guess we don't have to We don't have
to charge this up as a vacation, right, So you
made it in, you get paid for the day. You're good,
all right?
Speaker 9 (04:32):
Yay.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
Hopefully I'm gonna get on with the show. But we'll
check back with you in a minute. So just sit tight.
We'll have you on before noon.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
Oh gosh, that's nice, all right, all right, all.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
Right, So there's a there's Gandhi just sitting out there
in Charlotte. What a beautiful place to be sitting. Hey,
Roseanne is online six, our first caller of the day.
She's already had quite a morning. You think Gandhi's having
a bad morning? Hey, Rosanne? Tell everyone what's happened to
you so far this morning?
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (05:01):
So I wake up to a clogged toilet, so I
have to fix that. Yeah, Oh that's that's the greatest,
and I'm just grateful. Look at an overflow, because that would.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Have been quite quite Okay, okay, clog a toilet? Check
what else?
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Okay?
Speaker 10 (05:14):
All right, So I'm a teacher. So I have to
fill my stanley up with ice cold water on this
terribly hot day. And my water filter isn't working from
my twenty five hundred dollars refrigerator. You know, because you know,
you spend twenty five hundred dollars on a refrigerator, you've
expect fresh water.
Speaker 11 (05:30):
But absolutely, so I had to fix that.
Speaker 10 (05:34):
This is all before or five am, by the way. No,
and I have to get to work early today because
I'm in a show. I'm a teacher, by the.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Way, wait while I want back up, back up. You're
in a show, talk about that?
Speaker 10 (05:45):
Yep, oh oh, it's hysterical. I'm playing the wicked witch
and I have quite a laugh and I have to, like,
you know, add my own little thin to things and.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Naked f ah today. Look, I bet you talk to
the best of you talk to the best of Broadways stars, actors, actresses.
They have days like this, they have clog toilets. But
you know what, when you're on that stage you've got
to perform. You gotta be that wicked, which you're gonna
gotta be the best damn wicked. Which ever, thank you,
Daniel toilet forget about your toilet? Yeah, so who clogged
(06:17):
the toilet? What do you think went down there to
clog it? What do we think?
Speaker 11 (06:21):
I don't want to know.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
Yeah, you know what, sometimes we eat way too much fiber.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
I'm just saying, why am I picturing her standing there
with a plunger, dressed with green makeup, cackling.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Even wicked witches have clogged toilets, Roseanne. It's gonna get better.
It has nowhere to go but up. What do we
have for our friend? Roseanne? Come on, don't be stingy.
Sounds like we had a bad day there, Roseanne. How
about the full Elvis durantup Aeroline. Uh so the next
time this happens, you can at least look good while
you're working on it.
Speaker 10 (06:54):
Okay, that is awesome, Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
All right, break your leg. They're wicked witch, have a
beautiful day, a beautiful weekend. Thanks for being a teacher.
We love you, We love everything about yours. And hold
on a second, Okay, put a smile on our face.
Thank you. But as far as the contest of loving
each other, we win. We love you more than you'll
ever love us. So there, but I have a great
(07:17):
day of us there. Well, this is where we usually
go to Gandhi for three things we need to know.
She can't do it, but we'll just listen to her bed.
You know, I've never really listened to this. Every time
we play this, she's talking. I don't hear it. Now
we can hear it. Yeah, it's a good beat. It's
got some good rhythm. Turn it up, scary. Can we
(07:40):
send this to John Summit Heaven remix it? All right? Okay,
well there you go. That's what we listen to when
Gandhi's talking. All right, Scary, Can you get off the phone.
We're doing a showing a show.
Speaker 6 (07:52):
I'm patching Gandhi through zoom so she can hear us
on zoom and we can hear her.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Okay, we'll get to her in a minute. Are you guys, scary?
The screen is all messed up here. I can't see anything.
I got you, I got you, no one, come.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Again, Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 12 (08:10):
It was good then and it's better now. For over
forty years, Pedigree has been bringing out the good in dogs.
Every bowl delivers one hundred percent complete adult nutrition, supporting
six health essentials for your dog. That's the Pedigree Goodness Promise.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
This is Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Is mercury and retro grade?
Speaker 5 (08:38):
Oh, I don't know. We had a look.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
Sure seems like it. Yeah, I mean everything's falling to hell.
We just heard that. You know, Q one O two
in Philly. Their entire building is without power. Yeah, some
people are texting and wondering where we are. See the
screen behind scary is supposed to have the Elvis Drane
Morning Show logo, Now it says it has the iHeart
logo just switched on its own, on its own. Yeah,
(09:02):
this place is falling apart. Well, it sure seems like
Gandhi Gandhi is in our Charlotte studio. We had her
connected earlier, but now we had to find another way
to connect her. She's on zoom now is that what
you're doing? What are you doing? Hi, Gandhi Hi?
Speaker 13 (09:18):
Hi?
Speaker 14 (09:19):
Hello?
Speaker 3 (09:19):
Well there you are.
Speaker 15 (09:21):
Yes, I can hear you guys perfectly. It actually sounds
really good. Good good job bootlegging it. Someone's coming in
here to try and figure this out asap.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
So okay, well I don't know, maybe we should maybe
we shouldn't mess with it all right, So Q one
O two and Philly is out. Roseanne called our first
caller of the day her toilet is clogged. Okay, add
that to the list. Can you text me now what
is going just god awful wrong in your life? I
think mercury could be in retrograde even though it doesn't
(09:50):
know it is. Text me at fifty five if your
texture is working. So there's that. It's Friday, though, I've
been a great Yeah, Gandhi, whose wedding are you in Charlotte?
Speaker 4 (10:01):
For my cousin Pooja?
Speaker 3 (10:04):
And I'm so excited, So don't tell me this is
one of those big fabulous Indian weddings.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Yes, so every.
Speaker 15 (10:13):
Family wedding of mine is a big fabulous Indian wedding
because we're all Indian?
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Could you so you just call it a wedding?
Speaker 5 (10:19):
Yes, we call them weddings. Yes, that's it.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Danielle. When I asked Gandhi out for dinner, I said,
let's go have Indian food. She said, well, I just
called it food. You're right, that is true. We don't say,
let's go out for American to do. What are you having?
We're having American? What would that be? A cheeseburger? You know,
I don't know. Yeah, So a big what three day affair?
(10:43):
Is that?
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Is that?
Speaker 3 (10:43):
How long this is going to be?
Speaker 15 (10:45):
Yes, so they can go anywhere from you know, three
to seven. My sister didn't want that, so she did
a quick two day and my cousin's doing three. So
yesterday we did some stuff. Today is the sun geeth
and tomorrow is actually the big wedding.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
The what today's the what the sun geet? Okay, what
do we do there? To some geek?
Speaker 4 (11:01):
So it's it's a really cool ceremony. I mean, it's
not even like a ceremony.
Speaker 15 (11:05):
It's a big party where all the different friends and
family show up and the gift you're supposed to give
is a gift of art in some way, so you
can sing, you can dance, plan an instrument, You're just
supposed to present something from the heart and it gets
really really cool.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Wow, Daniel, how come we were never invited to Indian weddings?
Speaker 5 (11:23):
Because Wow, I went to a Pakistani wedding recently and
that was a big party too. They do a lot
of the same traditions and it was amazing and everybody
looked gorgeous and they did the hennah on their hands
and they I mean it was The food was incredible.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Yeah, we need to be invited in one of these. Yeah,
come on, we'll be the turning white people.
Speaker 15 (11:43):
Well, my other cousin just got engaged as well, so
I will see if everyone can come.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
To her wedding.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Right, what's the currency in India is what's it called
a rupee? A roopee? That's right, rupee?
Speaker 4 (11:55):
Rupees?
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Did they do the rupee dance.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
Dance?
Speaker 3 (12:00):
What it's like the dollar dance?
Speaker 10 (12:03):
We do?
Speaker 3 (12:04):
Hello, lady, Hello, that's an Italian.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
Thing, the dollar dance?
Speaker 9 (12:07):
Right?
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Yeah, money is a roopy dance. It's a joke. I'm kidding.
There's no roopee dance. I would love to do the
rupe dance. All right? So what else is going wrong?
Someone here needs a new roof. The roof is leaking.
I'm off for the weekend vacation. It starts now. Oh
good for you. It rained ins on my car, got
my windshield replaced. They didn't seal it, right, Oh yeah,
(12:29):
oh no, someone else calming texting saying it's Friday. Calm down,
it's gonna be okay. You're right, it is Friday. It's
gonna be okay. All right, we're still trying to figure
out how to connect Gandhi through the regular way, but
we can hear her now. So what do you think?
Speaker 15 (12:46):
Well, yesterday, I remember you saying, doesn't it feel like Friday?
Speaker 4 (12:49):
It should be Friday? And we should have just taken
that queue.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
And called her a week.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Well too late, No, no, it's very early.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
We're in.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
But here's an interesting text and it kind of puts
things into perspective. My mother had a stroke three weeks
ago and she's waking up today. She's starting to wake up. Okay,
does that put things into perspective?
Speaker 6 (13:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (13:21):
All the best to you and your family. All the
best of you and your family. Let's get into the horoscopes.
Who's doing them? It's Scottie b and Danielleman. Oh my gosh,
what a pair. And I was just talking about Danielle.
Speaker 6 (13:37):
Ok.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Sorry, Okay.
Speaker 12 (13:45):
If it's your birthday today, you share it with Chris Young,
Robin and Jesse reyes Gemini. Yeah, Jesse ray Is, you've
got to play Jesse rayes. Today we keep promising we
will Gemini. Your attention is being pulled in too many directions.
Make a list and focus on what actually needs to
get done. Your day is a six hey Cancer.
Speaker 5 (14:02):
Reach out to someone you've been thinking about. The conversation
could shift your whole day. Your day isn't eight.
Speaker 12 (14:07):
My fellow leos. If a plan isn't exciting you, it's
okay to sit this one out. Your energy is better
spent elsewhere. Your days of seven.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
Hey Virgo, don't let one small thing throw off your
entire day. Reset, keep it moving. Your days of five Libra.
Work around a problem, not with it. You'll be glad
you did. Your day's a nine by to take a
step back before responding to something that could be misunderstood.
Timing matters today.
Speaker 12 (14:29):
Your day's an eight Sagittarius. Stop getting in the way
of your own greatness. Step outside your comfort zone. Your
day is a nine Capricorn.
Speaker 5 (14:36):
Burnout is near. It's time to take a breather. Give

Speaker 12 (14:42):
A change in routine will do you a lot of good.
Your day is an eight pipe Pisces.
Speaker 5 (14:46):

be on all the time.
Speaker 12 (14:51):

Speaker 3 (15:04):
You know what I put the call out there? I said, textest,
let us know how your Friday is going, just to
see if everyone else's Friday is kind of messed up.
You should see what people are saying. Have you read
the text?
Speaker 6 (15:13):
Guys?
Speaker 3 (15:14):
Yeah, look at this no issues? Life is good?
Speaker 5 (15:18):
Oh that's good?
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Or I'm exhausted. What a week? I have good news.
I paid under four dollars for a gallon of gas today.
Look at that.
Speaker 5 (15:24):
That's good.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
Someone else, I'm getting my period in four days, okay.
Mallory in West Virginia went to bed last night, discovered
a snake in her garage. Was afraid to go to sleep,
so she put duct tape under the door that goes
to the garage. Doesn't know where she doesn't know where
the snake is. Now she's afraid to go downstairs and
make coffee.
Speaker 5 (15:44):
Oh boy, look at this.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
There's so much stuff is going that's going on. But
you know what, life is good if you're breathing, if you,
like Uncle Johnny used to say, if you if you
wake up in the morning and you don't feel wood,
meaning you're in a coffin.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
Yeah, you're okay. That's a good thing. It's true.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
Are you guys ready for your Friday?
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Yeah? Yeah, Elvis Duran cop if you think she should
tougher Elis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 10 (16:11):
I get you when you're like actually on the phone.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
On Elist Ran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
Hey got a challenge for you. If you're not into soccer,
world football, whatever you want to call it. World Cup
is exactly what's going on. It kicked off yesterday. Why
don't you just like dabble in it and see if
you start to get excited about the enormity of what's
going on.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Around the world.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
Yes, it is big. I mean, you know, just like
the Olympics. The Olympics kick off. It's a great thing.
It's a global thing, and I love that part about
it even more than the sports itself, the sports themselves
or whatever.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
You know, what else I think you should do if
you can wind a local bar that celebrates and champions
your team, where the country you come from, and if
they're playing at the Cup, being surrounded by everybody on
the excitement, it just makes.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
Such a difference, you know, and you would know and
you know what you had me at local bar. I'm whatever,
what are you guys watching? Okay, soccer, let's watch anyway.
So Mexico won kicking it off yesterday and this weekend
there's gonna be a lot of bars with a lot
of people screaming at the TVs and go out and
(17:20):
get into it. And another thing about the World Cup,
the music. We've got Shakira, this Jesse Reyes song. You know,
I think she is singing this song in Canada today
at a World Cup event.
Speaker 5 (17:34):
Right the Canada Bosnia game kicks off three pm Eastern time,
so she's going to be singing it, yeah, for their
like opening ceremony.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
So Gandhi, she ran into the room the other day.
We've got to play this Jesse Rayo song because I
know you love her.
Speaker 15 (17:49):
Yeah, I'm just obsessed with her in general and the
song that you listen to all of the songs that
they're releasing for the World Cup. They all have a
really similar theme. There's like a little bit of afrobeat
in there, and it's a dope song. She seemed up
with a woman named Eleanna who's an incredible singer as well.
And Jesse's birthday is today. She's performing today and she
just dropped a new album today. And I'm telling you, guys,
(18:09):
she's incredible. I'm obsessed with tell you what on Instagram?
Speaker 3 (18:12):
Yeah, her creeper. You actually tried to DM her and
she didn't DM back. Huh Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
So then I just post on her on her posts
every single day. I reply to them like.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
She's if someone out there's a lot, like she's my friend.
If someone out there knows Jesse Rays, would you please
tell her give us a call? Thank you. Yeah, I'll
play your song for you after we do whatever is
we're about to do. What are we doing? The Danielle Report,
The Danielle Report. So, Danielle, you do you as Nate said,
the Dan Yell Report. Report, You do that and then
we'll play Jesse Rayis. We'll play her official FEF for
(18:44):
World Cup two thousand and six songs.
Speaker 5 (18:45):
Sounds good coming up?
Speaker 3 (18:46):
All right, Danielle, you're up.
Speaker 5 (18:47):
I'm gonna actually kick it off with Scotty Be for
a minute because I have serial news kicking off my report.
K Pop Demon Hunters has a new serial out, So
now you can eat breakfast with your favorite cape.
Speaker 12 (19:00):
Yes for a limited time. General Mills is releasing Hunterrick's
Peach Mango Lucky Charms and Soga Boys Secret Flavor cinnamon
toast Crunch. So we don't know what that's gonna be.
It's a secret and sounds awful. I'm sure the marshmallows
are great though. It's at Walmart story starting June twenty ninth,
and then nationwide July twentieth.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
Oh, I cannot wait?
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Try it?
Speaker 5 (19:22):
Can we try it on your podcast?
Speaker 3 (19:23):
We should be getting it too, Okay. Peach Cereal peach mango, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:27):
Might be good.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
The peach cheerios remember those were great. We'll see why
not just eat a peach or a mango. I'm saying artificial?
Don't you love how I just kind of crapt all
over your story? Back to you, Daniel, what else you have?
Speaker 5 (19:40):
Olivia Rodrigo fulfilled the dream of hers last year when
she had lined Lollapalooza. But she went on and there
was somebody very important that wasn't watching her when she performed.
That was her mom. And here's the reason. Her mom
is a big fan of Corn and Corn was performing
at this time as Olivia Rodericko, so her mom skipped
(20:04):
her show to go see Corn, Oh crazy Corn with yes,
not well, the other Corn is not performing.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
I don't think Oh no, it does ha ha ha.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
That is true.
Speaker 11 (20:15):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (20:16):
By the way, Olivia Rodrigo referenced her partial deafness in
the song What's Wrong with Me from her album that
just got released. She admitted in an interview, there's quite
a lot that's wrong with her. She said, I'm sixty
percent death in my left ear. So if you tell
me a secret, make sure you go over to the right.
So there you go.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
Let's see.
Speaker 5 (20:36):
Travis Kelcey attended the last night's Songwriting Hall of Fame ceremony.
Of course, Taylor Swift arranged for a private jet to
fly him from Kansas City, where he spent the week
in mandatory mini camp training with the Chiefs, and the
family's mother sat side by side because soon they're going
to be related to each other.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
So cute.
Speaker 5 (20:55):
Dwayne Johnson, he had a little bit of a scare.
He thought he had testicular camp Sir. He underwent an
ultrasound April thirteenth, and that morning he was actually scheduled
to promote Jumanji three with Kevin Hart and Jack Black.
He said he went through the entire twenty four hours
not knowing what was going to happen, but he said
he is okay. He found a really painful lump on
(21:17):
his left testicle, went right to the doctor and it
turned out it was a reproductive tube that became plugged
with fluids that began to pool.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
So, oh, you got yeah, is that the Yeah?
Speaker 10 (21:29):
You know what?
Speaker 3 (21:30):
And guys, you should you should check yourself. Yep, you
really should check yourself when in the shower in the morning,
just kind of give it a little, do you know.
And that's that's how Alex found out he had testicular cancer.
Speaker 5 (21:42):

You also have the Knicks and the Spurs going at
it tomorrow night, game five of the NBA Finals. We
still have Game six of the Stanley Cup Finals going

want to go out and see that. I know our
boy Juju Green, he'll be on with us later today
to talk about it and he loved it. So go
and see that. And that is my Daniel report.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
Good God, so much going on another there's a lotta
full of stuff. So Gandhi is in Charlotte at her
cousin's wedding and how exciting. A whole weekend of fun.
But we can hear you loud and clear, all right,
So Jesse ray talk about.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Her, all right.
Speaker 15 (23:01):
Jesse Rayes is one of the biggest girl crushes in
my entire life. She's a singer, she's incredible. She's got
a new World Cup song out, She's performing at the
World Cup today, she's got a new album out today,
and it's her birthday.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
She's wonderful. I'm telling you go listen to her music.
She's awesome.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
All right. So is this song called Illuminate or Illuminate?
I think it's Illuminate Illuminata be fun, But this is
Jesse rays Gandhi's girl crush, Jesse rays. There you go,
another official World Cup song.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
You like that?
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Yeah, sounds good, It's excellent. Hey, it is Friday. It
feels good. It feels good. It's Friday. If you're listening
to US online in Philly, Q one O two, the
station is out there. Building has no power whatsoever. None, none,
wow zero, Just another day with another list of BS
(23:53):
going on. Okay, So I can hear Gandhi in the background.
We're trying to get her connection from Charlotte working. Can
you can you hear us?
Speaker 4 (24:00):
I can hear you, guys. Perfect.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
Yeah, we're just really low. You got to get close
to that mic and speak loudly. All right, you got
to you got to talking to the mic though, mike.
Speaker 4 (24:09):
Check one, there you go.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
Okay, it's called mic technique. Check check. It's good.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
There's my laptop.
Speaker 15 (24:16):
Then there's another computer and a microphone, and I don't
know where I'm supposed to be doing things right now.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
Well, you're in the microphone now, but it's really low,
so okay, and I kind of like it.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
Rude.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
I'm sorry, did God he say something? Oh? I can't
hear her. Oh, I'm moving on. All right, We're going
to take a break, try to iron this crap out.
But it's okay, it's Friday.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
I want to see what we actually look like.
Speaker 15 (24:36):
Olack o fairy princess that resides over the pits of Hell.
Speaker 9 (24:40):

Speaker 3 (25:12):
All right, so we're having the best day ever. So
Gandhi is in Charlotte at her cousin's wedding, and so
we had her connected to our iHeart Charlotte Studio. And
then we heard another show come on. It's the Woody
and Wilcox show that's been Charlotte down the hall from her.
So we're listening to them. They sounded really great.
Speaker 5 (25:33):
Yea, they sounded good. I was gonna steal their topic.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
You know what was their topic? Do you remember it was?
Speaker 5 (25:39):
It just sounded very interesting. Maybe we should use that.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
We should rip them off. We rip off everyone else.
Now we're gonna rip them off. Well here's the thing.
But there was a lot of echo going on. It
was like a big mess I was loving it. How
come I'm the only one in this company When things
get messy and sound like crap, it's fun to fix them. Okay, good,
Well it's not my job. But you know, this all
(26:03):
started during COVID when we all had to go home
and we all had to try to test our microphones
and things and nothing ever worked. It was funny as hell,
you know, I don't know, it was it was funny,
all right, but now it's quiet. We can't turn around
because apparently they're doing a podcast at the Woody and
Wilcox Show and they were cursing.
Speaker 11 (26:23):
They were they were comparing guys they had hooked up with,
like she had hooked up with guys and he had
hooked up with some of the same guys, and they
were comparing that.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
Really, I want to get them on. Can we interview them?
So you want me to sneak out a second or note, well,
you can turn it on, but if they curse, you
got hit the dumb button quick.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
Oh here we go.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
Let's listen in your podcast and being like, oh, this
Christina lady sounds cool and I bet it would be. Yeah,
you better turn it off. They don't know that we're
listening to him, and that could be illegal. Even that's bad, Okay,
it is creepy. Can you imagine someone turning a song
without us without saying.
Speaker 6 (26:57):
The thing that's crazy though, is Gandhi was coming in
on that same line. So now we can't even talk
to Gandhi.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
She's just sitting in the corner.
Speaker 5 (27:05):
You can question that what we were just hearing on
the air.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
I think they're doing a podcasting a podcast.
Speaker 5 (27:12):
I was going to say, then we could creep on
them because she's on the air.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
Okay, so so so it's Woody and Wilcox, right, that's
the morning show there in Charlotte. Uh so they've both
been with the same guys. Yes, that's so.
Speaker 11 (27:26):
That's what I got from it is that she was
talking about guys that she had hooked up with, and
he had hooked up with some of the same guys
that were going on.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
Oh my god, I'd love to get them on. I
want to. I want to get them on to talk
about that. That's hot. So can we can we try
to get them on? Yeah, and the hall, Gandhi, can
you go ask them if they if they'll come on
with us. It happened. I mean, we can't get them
on in your studio, but we can get them. But
(27:52):
we can turn them on. We can get them on
in their studio because that works.
Speaker 11 (27:57):
In order to hear Gandhi talk, we have to pop
them up, so has to talk while they're talking.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
I just separated it out.
Speaker 4 (28:02):
It works out very well.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
I got Gandi here. There you are, Okay, now we
hear you, we hear you. But we don't hear them
now where they go because they're on the other channel.
I I could put them on. Well, I missed that.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
They were great everybody at the same time.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
You're hearing it, like you're hearing them right now.
Speaker 4 (28:18):
I'm hearing you. I'm hearing both of them. I heard
scary chewing earlier.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Seeah, we don't hear them anymore. Well, but but Gandhi,
did you hear about the topic they were talking about?
What did you say, did you hear the topic they
were talking about? Yes?
Speaker 15 (28:34):
Yeah, Froggy got it right earlier when he said they're
talking about both of them hooking up with the same person.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
Yes, but but not at the same time.
Speaker 4 (28:42):
No, not at the same time. I think they just said,
my god, inconveniently.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
How can we get them on our show?
Speaker 4 (28:48):
I mean, I could go down the hallway and see
what's happening down there.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
Well, if they're in a podcast from that studio, I
don't know, go find out. I think Eric Eric here,
an engineer in Charlotte, said they are there.
Speaker 4 (28:59):
I think are they here? They're here? Okay, we can
go find them.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
Oh god, we got to talk to Woody and Wilcox
about this. Never they're my new favorite show. Yeah, okay,
I wonder what's kind of hooked up with first? What
are your Willcox? We'll find well know, but what is
it will Cox? A woman? Yes, yes, yeah, but I'm
wondering who hooked up with who first?
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Or Willcox?
Speaker 15 (29:24):
I think they're talking about the woman on the show
and another dude hooking up with the same guy.
Speaker 4 (29:29):
I don't think it's either one of.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
The Oh no, see that's different. Never mind, we'll find out.
He looks pretty. You can find out to me in
the pictures. You're determining someone's sexuality by their picture.
Speaker 5 (29:47):
He looks pretty straight to me.
Speaker 3 (29:50):
If you saw a picture of Elvis, would go older.
That guy looks gay. Elvis looks gay. So do what
you do too, show you you know you dress really well? Please?
That dude straight is an arrow. Yeah, okay. People ask
why we call Nate straight Nate because people think he's gay.
We're doing it to let you know he's not.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
Well, it's not a fool, but Nate looks like he
could be gay. Neither of these guys look like it.
Speaker 15 (30:15):
Yeah, I don't know, Eric said, one of them looks
like a pit boss, like a barbecue pit boss and
that's accurate.
Speaker 5 (30:21):
Yeah, like, yeah, he's got that.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
Okay, all right, we'll move on. Where's his sunglasses on
the back of his head?
Speaker 4 (30:29):
Where sunglasses on the back of his head?
Speaker 3 (30:30):
Yes, yep, okay, yep, yep. He's straight. Gay guys would
never ever do that.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
That's a guy.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
You remind me when she was telling me about it
reminds me when I was a kid, my mom said,
I know what you're doing. I have eyes in the
back of my head. Well, she's like a straight man.
She's got suns head. So is Q one or two?
And phillyop back on yet? Are you still off?
Speaker 13 (30:55):
No?
Speaker 3 (30:56):
No, we were told we were supposed to get the
update at some point and it hasn't come through.
Speaker 11 (31:02):
This is the powers off of the building. Every every
everyone in their computers are off of the down, every
one of.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
Them, right, So that's what's going on. So if you're
listening to us on digital, maybe you can hear us
if the powers off, how could I don't know how
that works. I'm not going down that road. Someone just
sent a text in saying Nate is a closeted homosexual.
I could be, could be? Can I ask a gay
man can you be so far in the closet you
(31:27):
don't know you're gay?
Speaker 16 (31:29):
Is that?
Speaker 3 (31:29):
I guess? I guess I'm never been so far in
the closet, So I can't answer that you've got gay
funds though I don't. I don't look. You know, it's
all in It's all up to you. It's all in
your head and in your heart, in your mind. You
know if you're attracted to the same sex or not.
And just because your doesn't mean you're gay. You could
be bisexual, you could be anything. I don't know. Everyone's different. Well,
(31:53):
here's a question like, is a gay man, do you
find every man attractive? Or only?
Speaker 16 (31:57):
Sir?
Speaker 3 (31:58):
No at all? You know, here's how you answer that question.
It's the same question you would ask you as a
straight man, do I find every woman attractive? It's the
same exact thing, Okay, And the fact that someone as
smart as you just asked that stupid question kind of
makes me go, I guess, I guess you're smarter than that.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
No, it kind of goes through that deserted island thing,
right like if I had to, would I and uh,
for me, I do find certain men very attractive. So,
but do you want to have sex with them.
Speaker 5 (32:25):
M okay, all right, well so wait, Chris Pratt.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
I'd like, I said, I'd let him do things. I
don't know if I would do stuff to him. Oh okay,
all right, all right, we're getting somewhere here by the way,
you know, we have a mountain of complaints coming in.
The stations are not working, we can't connect gandhi. Now
we heard the case one oh one up in New Haven,
played Friday by Rebecca Rebecca Black, and we're getting complaints.
(32:50):
This is painful. I cannot believe you're playing this song.
Speaker 5 (32:53):
Well, at least it's Friday.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Thank you, Danielle. I know, but I don't know. I'm
just letting you know. Whoever's in charge of Casey one
on one they don't like that song. I don't like
that song.
Speaker 5 (33:07):
Also, can I make my apology for a World Cup because.
Speaker 3 (33:11):
Yeah, you do. Yeah, and you really pissed off the
South Korea yesterday?
Speaker 5 (33:14):
Yes, South Korea played the Czech Republic and we said
it was one of those games game do yeah. So
it was two to one and South Korea one, So
congratulations to them. So I apologize for not reporting on
that and for saying something that it wasn't an important game.
It was an important game.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
What you said was no one cares.
Speaker 5 (33:34):
I apologize, Thank you, thank you for reminding everyone.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
And then Mexico beat.
Speaker 5 (33:42):
South Africa yesterday.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
All right, World Cup is underway and the controversy begins.
So do we have Gandhi on officially? I don't know
she is, but she's low. I got you right here,
say hi girl, Gandhi?
Speaker 6 (33:53):
Are you on?
Speaker 3 (33:53):
Gandhi? Gandhi?
Speaker 2 (33:56):
Hello?
Speaker 3 (33:57):
Can you hear us?
Speaker 4 (33:59):
I can hear you, but I can still hear the
other people.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
You're still listening to Woody and Wilcox.
Speaker 4 (34:04):
Yeah, can you hear the other people?
Speaker 14 (34:08):
No?
Speaker 3 (34:08):
I no, I can't hear them in your headphones. Okay, well,
let's let that go. That's got to be maddening.
Speaker 4 (34:12):
It's like maddening.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
I feel this is what life is like if you
hear voices in your head all the time. Yeah, now
you know, Now you know.
Speaker 15 (34:20):
I think I'm gonna go back to the other feed
that we were on originally, because this is the go
do that heart attack.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
Okay, We're gonna take a we gotta take a break.
Let's take a break. We're trying to get this thing fixed.
This is fun. This is the best day ever.
Speaker 9 (34:32):
I love this The official Disney on Broadway podcast, hosted
by Danielle So let's.
Speaker 5 (34:39):
Talk about the magic carpet.
Speaker 9 (34:41):
Open your free iHeartRadio app search for Behind the Magic
and listen today Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
Elvis Duran at the Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
Okay, I'm trying to get Andrew to come to the
studio because okay, let me just tell you what's going
on in the background. This has been the most incredible
morning so far. Pay to work here if we have
more mornings like this. All right, So Andrew's not in.
Speaker 5 (35:04):
I don't think he's in now.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
Oh he's not. I'm just talking.
Speaker 5 (35:07):
I don't see him.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
He's not in the building. Okay, Oh he's not here.
Never mind. Uh hold on text Andrew on. Oh sorry,
I didn't know you were home by said okay, okay,
So let me get this straight. Gandhi is in Charlotte
in the iHeart studios and we heard another show coming
(35:31):
through her line to us, and it was a girl
and a guy talking about hooking up with the same guy.
So Eric, the engineer there, said, oh, that's Woody and
Willcox the show down the hall. That's weird. So so
Woody and Willcox hooked up with the same guy. What
So we went online and looked at their photos. They
(35:53):
don't look like people to be hooking up with guys.
Wood is as straight as an arrow.
Speaker 16 (35:57):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
So then Scary realized it's not Woody and Wilcox down
the hall. It's a file playing on his computer here
in New York from the w UT podcast, which I
did some investigating. It's what's the name of the podcast?
Speaker 4 (36:17):
What's your type?
Speaker 3 (36:19):
Yeah, what's your type? M hm, And they were talking
about hooking up with the same guy. So we thought
that was from Charlotte. It was from here. Are you
with me?
Speaker 17 (36:28):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (36:28):
Yeah, yes, on board.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
I gotta listen to this podcast.
Speaker 4 (36:33):
Yeah, they're fun that.
Speaker 15 (36:35):
Her name is Sarah Hartshorn and she was on America's
Next Top Model. I actually had her on my podcast
not too long ago talking about all of the ins
and outs of that show.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
And now she has her own podcast. Yeah, she's great.
Speaker 3 (36:47):
So they used our studio yesterday.
Speaker 15 (36:50):
There's our studio all the time, I think, okay, yeah,
I think a lot of podcasts are recorded in there.
Speaker 6 (36:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
We're like, yeah, yeah, who's been sleeping in mind.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
Uh huh studio exactly, yep.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
All right, Okay, well I think we don't like that. Man,
how long we've been saying this for forever? I can Yeah,
Well no, if you're no, I didn't know that. If
God's doing a podcast and here, that makes sense. But
if it's someone else, Okay, that's that's gonna stop. All right,
Everyone gets a turn, Elvis, everyone takes a turn in
(37:26):
this place.
Speaker 4 (37:27):
Are we about to change the locks?
Speaker 3 (37:30):
Well, no, it's you know, I know, we all know
how it's happening. Okay, we'll fix that.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (37:35):
We have like we have forty five thousand studios in
the building. Why are they all coming to our studio?
It's the biggest Okay, how many people do they have?
Speaker 4 (37:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (37:46):
That's what happens when you have the biggest one. That's
that's how it works. Yeah, I don't know that problem.
I've heard about it.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
I just know this is the first in my life
I've experienced having the biggest one. Yeah, Nate, you're the
executive producer. Tell them to stop. I have a proposal.
We need a door man, We need somebody at the door.
We need a door that controls entry and exit of
this facility.
Speaker 5 (38:09):
Wait a minute, it does look at twelve o'clock.
Speaker 10 (38:12):
No, no to get in.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
I know, but it's it's someone within our show who's
bringing the man. The call is coming, calls coming from
within the house. All right, we'll get to that. All right,
Moving on now. God, we've been on the air an
hour and twenty two minutes. So much fun. This is
so amazing. We haven't talked about the Knicks once. Damn Nick,
we gotta talk about the Nicks. Okay, So this weekend scary.
(38:37):
I am totally believing in your theory. We need to
go ahead and win it, even though it's not at home.
I do not want to wait. Take the chance.
Speaker 6 (38:45):
We got to win in our home court. Doesn't matter.
People see it on this on their screens anyway.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
Done done, done, So they need to win it on
the road in San Antonio. I agree. Okay, So we're
in the World Cup. You know they picked off yesterday.
Did I tell you about eating boil boy kibble last night?
That was fun?
Speaker 4 (39:06):
That sounds so dirty.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
It sounds no boy kibble. It's you know, you've heard
of girl kibble, right, or women kibble or women food
there's another dinner.
Speaker 4 (39:16):
It's girl dinner.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
Girl dinner. Well, it's the equivalent. So what it is,
Guys who you know wanted like a big protein filled
meal that's easy to put together. You can actually make
a big pot of it and separate it in, you know,
servings for the rest of the week. I made that
last night, and I am addicted to boy kibble. I
think there should be a restaurant Elvis that serves nothing
(39:37):
but boy kibble, different variations of it, because yours looked
what did they say resistance? Yes, amazing. You had vegetables
in there, yet protein sort of saucy syrup. I did
have a saucy syrup in my boy kibble. Here's what
you know, rather than a restaurant, maybe the boy kibble truck. Maybe?
Oh were they just ladle it out? All you need
(40:00):
is a ladle now, okay, So I it's I did
ground beef in my boy kibble. Excuse me, ground beef.
I roasted up some chopped up uh sweet potato, and
I put that in there. And there's some peas, and
I chopped up some garlic and onion and and all
sorts of some chili crisp and uh it was full
of everything anyway, Is it soupy or is it dry?
Speaker 16 (40:20):
No?
Speaker 3 (40:20):
No, it's dry. It's not dry. It's like, yeah, it's scubable. Yeah, okay,
it's like like the same consistency as the sloppy Joe
stuff you put on an unbud like that consistency. All right,
So it's thickened, unbelievable.
Speaker 5 (40:35):
That sounds delicious.
Speaker 3 (40:37):
I can't. I can't get enough. I put hot sauce
in there too, I warmed it up. I put orange
marmalade in there. I put everything saucy syrup. Yeah. Who's
in boy kibble?
Speaker 4 (40:51):
Can I lobby for a brand, like a rebrand of it?
Does it have to be called boy kibble? Can we
call it like man fight or man meat?
Speaker 2 (40:57):
Yea?
Speaker 5 (40:57):
Because kibble sounds like dog food.
Speaker 3 (41:00):
I don't like the word boy. I don't like the word.
Speaker 15 (41:02):
Yeah, it's the boy I have a problem with. I
think man meat is better than boy kibble.
Speaker 3 (41:05):
Man meat, man meats. Yeah, man meat can be just
as titillating.
Speaker 15 (41:11):
Because boy me let it not go over very well, guys,
it doesn't sound as illegal as like boy kibble sounds
like there's something wrong with it.
Speaker 4 (41:18):
But man meat. You're like, oh, set me up.
Speaker 3 (41:20):
It doesn't sound illegal until you think it sounds legal
your head.
Speaker 4 (41:24):
Yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 5 (41:25):
But kimble and kimble, I'm sorry, sounds like dog food.
Speaker 3 (41:28):
What kibble is it's just a ball full of nothing,
like just granule yea granular party. Dogs can't own the
word kibble. Kimble is is all encompassing.
Speaker 6 (41:38):
But when I picture boy kibble, I picture a guy
on all fours in a collar, sticking his.
Speaker 3 (41:43):
Head in a dog dish, like, no, no, no, I'm
eating boy kibble. Well, okay, by some kay, Okay, let's
be very clear. That's what your mind is seeing. That's
where it goes, boy kibble.
Speaker 4 (41:56):
I think we should just go with that.
Speaker 3 (41:59):
Okay, kim let me look at it. Kibble a dry,
pelleted food most commonly formulated for pets, cats, most but
I don't care anyway. But it's not man meat because
you've got vegetables in there, You've got some grains, some
syrupy sauces, you get a lot of stuff in there,
so you can't really call it meat. It's like, uh,
(42:20):
I don't even hey this, hey, wait this just in
I got an idea. Don't worry about it.
Speaker 4 (42:27):
We need to come up with the name for your
food trunk.
Speaker 3 (42:30):
Garrett says we should call it dude chow or a
fella fella flakes flakes anyway, whatever it is, it was
really good. I enjoyed making it, I enjoyed eating it.
I'm still enjoying it today. It's full of protein, It's
full of everything I need. It's good. But my problem
(42:51):
is I'm gonna eat the whole pot because it's so great.
So there's that. And then can I talk about my gummy. Oh,
I'm experimenting with different THC gummies so I can sleep
sleep gummies, right. I took one last night and I
don't remember going to bed. I blacked out. This thing
was too much. And as a matter of fact, I
(43:11):
told the guys during the during the song, I woke
up in all my Amazon packages that came in yesterday
were opened. I don't remember opening them. I didn't open those.
Speaker 4 (43:20):
God, what else did you do?
Speaker 3 (43:22):
I don't know. I don't know. Did I call anyone,
did I text anyone? Let me check my text messages?
Speaker 5 (43:26):
But did you get a good night's sleep? Because that
absolutely so that's what's all about.
Speaker 3 (43:32):
It hit me hard, it had it only had one
and a half grams of THC in it, or milligrams rather, right,
which isn't that bad?
Speaker 16 (43:41):
Is it one and a half?
Speaker 10 (43:42):
No?
Speaker 3 (43:43):
No, I don't know.
Speaker 15 (43:45):
One and a half milligrams is not bad. If it
was one and a half grams.
Speaker 3 (43:48):
It, I'd be dead. Anyway, I'm gonna experiment. I'm gonna
experiment it with it again tonight. I see what happens.
Speaker 15 (43:57):
We'd be like a joint in a half. So it's
not out of the realm of possibility that you.
Speaker 4 (44:03):
Had one and a half. And maybe that's what knocks
you out.
Speaker 3 (44:07):
Yeah, well yeah, anyway, let's get into the three things.
Speaker 4 (44:13):
Okay, we need to know.
Speaker 3 (44:16):
I'm gonna go have another bowl of brotein.
Speaker 5 (44:19):
I like that ros, I like that one.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
What do you eat?
Speaker 3 (44:27):
What are you eating, froggy? Are you eating protein? Rotin
protein bowl? I had a good spoonful of brotein.
Speaker 2 (44:38):
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (44:40):
Okay, we gotta we gotta move on into the three
things you need to know. Live from Charlotte. It's ghan Ghani.
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (44:48):
All right?
Speaker 15 (44:49):
The US park Police are investigating the Washington Monument, where
the number is eighty six forty seven appeared etched in
the grass. On Thursday, images taken from the top of
the monument showed those numbers, which were apparently created from
dead or discolored grass. The Trump administration has argued in
the past that that term could constitute a threat against
the nation's president. The Department of the Interior called the
message deranged vandalism, adding that anyone who makes the threat
(45:12):
against the president will be found and held accountable. Interestingly enough,
the largest ibo in history launched today courtesy of SpaceX.
The deal could make Elon Musk a trillionaire. The Reusable
Rocket Company is planning to sell more than five hundred
and fifty five million shares of the company, or one
hundred and thirty five dollars a piece. It values the
(45:33):
company at more than one point seven trillion dollars. As CEO,
Elon Musk will still retain more than eighty percent of
voting power.
Speaker 4 (45:40):
That's how it's going to be for him.
Speaker 15 (45:42):
The shares will be listed on Nasdaq under the sticker SPCX.
And finally, Weimo is pursuing an aggressive expansion plan with
a new subscription tier called Weimo Premier.
Speaker 4 (45:53):
Elvis do Lolono, Right, I Love Right?
Speaker 3 (45:57):
Did you see the photo that the video that Roggie
said us yesterday, the little dog in the front seat
of a Weimo car being driven around town. It was
a dog taking away moo.
Speaker 15 (46:07):
They said the dog should be in the driver's seat.
Speaker 4 (46:09):
That's the thing I want to see.
Speaker 15 (46:10):
It looks like the dogs are driving a car around
down The service is going to cost thirty dollars a
month and it targets avid users.
Speaker 4 (46:16):
And some of the most popular markets.
Speaker 15 (46:17):
According to a blog post from the Alphabet owned company,
The new subscription tier is invite only to start for
select writers in San Francisco, LA and Phoenix. So Elvis,
you're gonna have to wait a minute, and those are
your three things.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
Well, we took that Weimo in a Miami down Where
were we We were in Coconut Growth. You're miam That
thing was fun, Froggy, how much fun did we have
in that with that Weimo.
Speaker 11 (46:39):
We were laughing like little school girls the whole time
we were tackling, laughing.
Speaker 3 (46:44):
It was the best night ever. I would I want
to get up. I want to get on a Weaimo
and just right endlessly around town.
Speaker 11 (46:49):
Do you remember when we when we when we got out,
we tried to book another one because of the rain.
It was closed for the next day and a half.
We couldn't book one. I know if it rains, they
don't work anyway, there you go, Thank you, Gandia. Fabulous
they wake me up?
Speaker 2 (47:01):
Good morning show?
Speaker 8 (47:02):
Are we on.
Speaker 9 (47:05):
Elvis Duran in the morning show? For the phone Elvis Duran?
The Elvis Duran phone tap?
Speaker 3 (47:16):
All right, Garrett? All right, Garrett here with his phone tap.
I want to see what you've brought into us. Okay.
It's like sometimes you open your front door and the
dog has brought you like a dead rat. Oh yeah,
or the cat has brought you a dead bird.
Speaker 16 (47:29):
They present a great presence.
Speaker 3 (47:30):
Well they do it because they love you. Let's see
what dead animal Garrett is going to leave on our
doorstet Let's see how much I love you today. I
really have bumped this one up. What's your phone tap
all about?
Speaker 6 (47:40):
All right?
Speaker 16 (47:40):
So Kira wants to play a phone tap on her
dad and Malik. So Kyra just started driving and Dad
has been worried about his daughter's driving ability since day one. Right,
So Kyra's going to start the call to dad things.
She got into a little car accident. I just so
happened to be the other driver of the accident. Oh boy, okay,
so let's see what happens in today's phone tap.
Speaker 8 (47:57):
Hello, Dad, gotten to a car accident. No, I didn't
call the cop, didn't know what to do. Some guy
hit me and I don't know. I talked to him,
and now he's saying, well, I'm on the side of
the road. There's no street signs. I don't even know how.
(48:19):
I don't know. There's no street signs, and there's trees
and there's no sign. There's like a stop sign, but
there's no streets. I don't know where.
Speaker 16 (48:27):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm getting out of here. I so
you're gonna fix this or no?
Speaker 10 (48:31):
What I want to right now?
Speaker 4 (48:33):
I want to pink him.
Speaker 8 (48:35):
Excuse me, sir. My dad's on the phone and he
wants to talk to you.
Speaker 16 (48:39):
Yeah, hello, who is this? Your daughter was in my way?
Speaker 6 (48:46):
I was.
Speaker 16 (48:47):
I was coming down the road. You you So, here's
a story. I was driving on my eighty nine Toyota Corolla.
I got hit up. My push notification went off. I
scrolled over to see who was and next thing I know,
I said, your daughter's car.
Speaker 8 (49:04):
Okay, okay, no, no, no, on on what you gotta
go to cop, but you can go for me right now?
Take our entrance. We just doing that.
Speaker 3 (49:14):
I want to I want our insurance right now.
Speaker 16 (49:16):
I got no insurance.
Speaker 8 (49:19):
You have no insurance.
Speaker 16 (49:21):
I've been driving for twenty plus years with no insurance.
Speaker 8 (49:23):
Tell me, okay, you're better give an answers number.
Speaker 16 (49:28):
How am I supposed to fix this?
Speaker 3 (49:30):
Am I supposed to be stuggling with that concurance?
Speaker 14 (49:33):
What the hell?
Speaker 3 (49:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 16 (49:34):
I'm gonna be laid for work because of this, all right,
So I don't I don't care, man, I don't.
Speaker 8 (49:38):
Care, because come now, Daddy's getting in his car.
Speaker 10 (49:45):
Do I do it?
Speaker 8 (49:46):
I don't know what's a jettish, but no, he doesn't
have a license plate number.
Speaker 16 (49:52):
You gotta do something?
Speaker 5 (49:54):
You do not yet?
Speaker 8 (49:55):
An he's leaving?
Speaker 2 (49:57):
What I do?
Speaker 8 (49:58):
You want me to see it in front of his car?
Speaker 1 (50:00):
Are yes? Yo?
Speaker 3 (50:05):
Yo yo? Malik no molak.
Speaker 16 (50:09):
My name is actually Gar from Elvis Durant in the
Morning Show. And you just got phone.
Speaker 3 (50:13):
Tapped, gosh.
Speaker 8 (50:21):
Because I wanted to play Soca on you.
Speaker 9 (50:23):
Oh Jesus ripe wow Elvis Duran's phone.
Speaker 12 (50:30):
This phone table was pre recorded with permission granted by
Altarty Space the.
Speaker 9 (50:34):
Elvis Oran Phone tap only on Elvis Duran in the
Morning Show.
Speaker 12 (50:41):
It was good then and it's better now. For over
forty years, Pedigree has been bringing out the good in dogs.
Every bowl delivers one hundred percent complete adult nutrition, supporting
six health essentials for your dog. That's the Pedigree Goodness Promise.
Speaker 3 (50:55):
Increase, alume and go here we go much noise.
Speaker 13 (51:11):
Wow from the Elvis Terran show, Oh God, the Country's
most popular.
Speaker 3 (51:25):
Top forty.
Speaker 2 (51:31):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show, I don't.
Speaker 3 (51:33):
Know, you know, I woke up this morning with a
little bit of a gummy hangover. I think the whole
world has god to hung over. We're getting the weirdest
text today.
Speaker 2 (51:42):
You know what.
Speaker 3 (51:43):
So many people text us. It's it's hard to keep
up with all of them, but they just go so fast.
But everyone's while. You'll catch one and they're like what.
Then I started digging deeper. I started looking at other
texts from people, and I see that our listeners as
a collection, there's something weird going on, something, something in
the something in the milk ain't clean. You know what
I'm saying? May I read something to you? Someone from
(52:09):
Erico two to one in Jersey said someone just said
f on the radio and it was loud as hell.
Did we just someone to say the F word?
Speaker 9 (52:16):
No?
Speaker 3 (52:16):
No, no, not here.
Speaker 2 (52:19):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (52:20):
Someone said, hey, I mean this in the nicest way, please,
enough of the World Cup talk. I hardly doubt many
people are interested in that.
Speaker 5 (52:29):
What it's called world for a reason.
Speaker 4 (52:32):
Yeah, there's a lot of people countries.
Speaker 3 (52:34):
Yeah, we don't have to debate them. I happen to
disagree with them in the nicest way. We will continue
to talk about the World Cup. Okay.
Speaker 6 (52:44):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (52:44):
People giving me more recipes for ru Boy Kimble brotein
protein bowl and a nice brotein bowl. Thank you for
those I don't know. It's just did someone just fart?
Speaker 16 (52:59):
No?
Speaker 3 (53:00):
Sorry? It far No, I will listen. I'm a performer.
When I fart, you will know Froggy is one of
those guys who lifts his arm and cranks it down
when he farts.
Speaker 11 (53:15):
Yes, I'll do the truck pull, I'll lift my leg,
make a face the whole thing. I'm gonna give you
a whole kitten kaboodle. You should be soper out. Let's
see what's going on in the real world. I mean,
is there traffic is this Is this really a Friday?
It feels like it's Saturday to me?
Speaker 3 (53:30):
It does, it does?
Speaker 5 (53:34):
Guys, what are we doing?
Speaker 11 (53:36):
We have also been trying to get the day off
since Thursday.
Speaker 3 (53:40):
Stop it.
Speaker 6 (53:41):
I feel like summer Fridays have kicked in for a
lot of offices. People are leaving early to go out
east or down to the shore, and schools are now ending.
Speaker 3 (53:50):
So and next week, a week or two weeks from now,
New York City Public all end. Okay, so we give up. We'
just not do a show. Yes, but I think that
vibe carries through to the people that are still working.
You know what I mean. We're stuck here, but you
know we have the mentality now stuck. I know, Nate,
(54:11):
you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (54:12):
Wait, you know what might make sense though, because you
know how many people get stuck in traffic on the
way to like the shore in different places. So I
think one of us should leave early on Fridays and
head sure and do a live show from the car
to say, Hey, I'm stuck in the traffic.
Speaker 4 (54:29):
I'm not just an idea.
Speaker 2 (54:31):
No, you don't like that.
Speaker 3 (54:32):
You have done that before, Remember that was years ago.
What Gandhi.
Speaker 2 (54:37):
No.
Speaker 15 (54:37):
I have some friends in from out of town and
they said that the traffic getting into the area was
insane last night.
Speaker 5 (54:44):
Oh yeah, traffic.
Speaker 15 (54:46):
Yeah, I'm getting alerts from my building talking about their
closing down all the streets around me because there's gonna
be some FIFA festival parade and yeah, it's gonna be
it's gonna be a while weekend.
Speaker 4 (54:55):
I'm excited.
Speaker 3 (54:58):
So I'm learning more about what happened while I was
passed out cold with my my THHC laced gummy just
tried to sleep. I'm taking gummies just to try to sleep.
By the way, the name of this company someone was
asking for, I'll tell you the name of it. Uh
Fields f e A l S. Have you heard of
the Fields gummies?
Speaker 16 (55:17):
No?
Speaker 3 (55:18):
No f E A l s anyway, So yeah, it's
one and a half milligrams of THC. And I found
out there was a storm last night. Was there a storm?
Speaker 4 (55:30):
Yeah, oh my god?
Speaker 2 (55:31):
Yeah, what.
Speaker 3 (55:34):
Of the storm really woke me up? Light Oh, the
lightning was intense. The rain was just it was hitting
like machine gun bullets on the wall. It was well,
big big Daddy slept right through that.
Speaker 4 (55:47):
They didn't hear it, eithero, What else happened?
Speaker 3 (55:49):
What else happened while I was asleep? Text me, now,
what happened while I was asleep? Fifty five one is
the number? All right? So no, we're not going to
give up, even though it's a it's we're turning into
the summer months. We've been doing the show for thirty years.
We've been doing it for thirty summers, or this is
our thirtieth whatever. We know how to maneuver through summer.
It's different than winter, it's different than the other seasons.
(56:09):
I get that. But in the words of Nate, we're
stuck here. Yeah, we're stuck here.
Speaker 5 (56:16):
Nate, that's not really nice.
Speaker 3 (56:17):
We're stuck here.
Speaker 15 (56:19):
We can go to work of all the places and
all the jobs and professions. I don't think we're stuck.
Speaker 3 (56:24):
This is great, No think about it though. I mean,
we had to do a show, right and I don't
be stuck here physically, But we're stuck doing this. We
got to do this. This is a service other people.
They're waking up in their urundies right now and they're
opening their laptop to pretend they're working from bed, and
they're not really working. You know that's how that works.
Speaker 15 (56:46):
But then I have but they have to pretend that
they're working for eight whole hours and a job that
they might not even like.
Speaker 4 (56:51):
Yeah, we love this.
Speaker 3 (56:52):
Pretending they're working. Great, but we have to commit.
Speaker 4 (56:56):
We have to work every day.
Speaker 9 (56:58):
Ye, so.
Speaker 3 (57:02):
It's great. I'm not even pretending to work. Alms just
admits I've made a career out of like just kind
of sitting here. So it's kind of they pay us
to commuter and just be stuck here. Okay, worst place
is to be stuck. So Gandhi is in Charlotte for
her cousin's wedding and uh and as you call it
(57:22):
a wedding, Danielle, I called it an Indian wedding.
Speaker 4 (57:26):
It is an Indian wedding.
Speaker 2 (57:27):
Yew.
Speaker 3 (57:27):
I've never been to one. I'm dying to go to one,
you know, I don't know. So that's why I keep
asking Gandhi to marry me. So why can we can
just do it already? You know, I will.
Speaker 15 (57:36):
Absolutely do that, because just because you have a wedding
doesn't mean that you're married.
Speaker 4 (57:40):
You have to do all the legal stuff right, So
we could have a wedding like once in a year,
if we wanted to.
Speaker 3 (57:45):
That's a lot. I mean, if we're going to pay
for it, I mean, I'm gonna like to do a
three day maybe four day extravaganza. We got to wear
all the clothes. People have to go to the shops
and buy the Indian garb whatever it is. Okay, I'm in.
Speaker 5 (57:58):
I'm not seeing all of that. If you two are
not really married, sorry, this is gonna.
Speaker 15 (58:03):
Work'na live like married people.
Speaker 3 (58:07):
Nah, okay, we're not gonna other.
Speaker 4 (58:09):
I promise that is living like married people.
Speaker 1 (58:12):
Right.
Speaker 3 (58:12):
Yeah, not having sex, not in everybody else, that's froggy.
Speaker 6 (58:15):
He knows.
Speaker 2 (58:18):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (58:18):
Text Elvis, are you torn with which basketball team to support?
Because it's Texas and n way, I am originally from Texas,
I'm gonna I am a New Yorker and I fully
support the Knicks. I was a Spurs fan for many
years when I lived in San Antonio, and that was fun.
But no, no, no, it's it's all blue and orange
or orange and blue? Which went? Which way does it go?
(58:39):
Let's see what did you do last night? People texting in?
I farted, okay, great, good for you. While you were sleeping.
I bought a flight to San Antonio. Oh, I wonder
why they're going there. Let's see. I looked up my
window one minute, saw the storm, looked out another minute
and my neighbor's house was gone. Good god, this is
what happens when I'm sleeping. People houses are blowing away.
Speaker 4 (59:04):
Where was that?
Speaker 2 (59:04):
See?
Speaker 3 (59:05):
I don't have a aircut three four seven that's here
in this area, isn't it?
Speaker 6 (59:08):
My god?
Speaker 3 (59:09):
Elvis, I'm a teacher and finally on summer vacation. I
know I have summers off, but I would much rather
have a job that I enjoy going to. Okay, there
you go. Here in Indiana, we had several tornadoes come
through last night. Wow, okay, well a lot of people
were up while I was asleep. Go figure, I'm not
(59:31):
taking another one of these until at least eight o'clock tonight.
So what else? What are you gonna doing this weekend?
Anything good, Danielle?
Speaker 5 (59:37):
Yeah, I got We have Deanna's bridal shower this weekend.
It's not a surprise. I'm not ruining it. So that's exciting.
My niece has had like a hip hop dancer title,
and it's always so much fun because it's that type
of music and my we're just going to be watching
World couple weekend. We've got all the games mapped out
that we're going to be watching, so we're excited.
Speaker 3 (59:57):
Yeah, what about you, Gandhi? You at the week the
Wee can win wedding? Guess that's officially your weekend.
Speaker 4 (01:00:02):
Yeah, big weekend.
Speaker 15 (01:00:02):
But I'm actually back early Sunday morning, and I, like
I said, I have some friends in town, so that'll
be fun to do some stuff with them.
Speaker 4 (01:00:08):
Mother there too.
Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
What about you, Frog? What are you doing?
Speaker 11 (01:00:11):
Going to see you Chris Stapleton and Landy Wilson tomorrow
night at rammag James.
Speaker 5 (01:00:15):
I want to see Lanny. I'm so jealous. Jealous?
Speaker 3 (01:00:18):
Yeah, lovely? What about you, Sketty?
Speaker 6 (01:00:20):
My buddy will is having a little rooftop party tomorrow,
little rooftop barbecue, and he's got a big screen up there,
so we're gonna watch the Knicks hopefully take Game five
and put this thing to bed.
Speaker 3 (01:00:33):
Yeah, okay, what about you? Straight in eight, I'm gonna
be on the streets of New York City when the
Knicks win, and I will be part of the mayhem.
Speaker 11 (01:00:41):
You heard me, the mayhem. Don't get beat up. Don't
get beat up.
Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
I'm not going to get beat up, but I will,
you know, flip slip a hot dog car? Yeah, well.
Speaker 4 (01:00:52):
Do it?
Speaker 3 (01:00:53):
You know, you know what? You know, what are those
nut carts? You know they roast the nuts nuts for nuts? Well,
go flip a nut cart. It sounds like.
Speaker 4 (01:01:03):
You're threatening someone or like telling them off.
Speaker 3 (01:01:05):
Go flip a nut cart. We are officially New Yorkers
this weekend. So what was it Jlo said about her
definition of a New Yorker And she is a New Yorker,
so keep in mind it's coming from a New Yorker.
What did she say?
Speaker 15 (01:01:17):
She said, the only way to be a New Yorker
is if you were born in one of the five boroughs,
and that is it. It doesn't matter if you have
lived there for seventy years. You're not a New Yorker
if you weren't born there. So people started getting irate
about it. I mean yeah, they were really upset because.
Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
They're like, Okay, I disagree with Jlo. I disagree with
that same in many ways. Yeah, well, New York was
built on this melting pot theory. People moved in from
other countries. That's what New York is about. But Jaylo,
she thinks that we're not New Yorkers some of us.
Speaker 15 (01:01:50):
Yeah, okay, And then people are like, wait, so if
you're born there and then you move when you're one
and you live in another place the rest of your life,
are you a New Yorker?
Speaker 4 (01:02:00):
What about the people who are from upstate? Are they
not New Yorkers? This is very strange.
Speaker 5 (01:02:04):
Well, they're upstate New York, so they.
Speaker 3 (01:02:07):
Jlo, you don't think I'm a New Yorker. I don't
think you have any talent? How about that?
Speaker 4 (01:02:12):
Oh wow, roasted?
Speaker 2 (01:02:14):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (01:02:15):
Have you seen her new movie?
Speaker 4 (01:02:17):
Yeah, gotta I gotta say that was a that was
a rough watch.
Speaker 3 (01:02:20):
Actually, I love j Low. I think she's I think
she's very talented. When it comes to singing. I think
she's great. Let's go around the road and she's a
great dancer, and she looks freaking awesome. She's beautiful. Yeah,
but I am a New Yorker, So.
Speaker 4 (01:02:38):
Yes, you are.
Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
I mean, Danielle, you're in New Yorker. Am I a
New Yorker?
Speaker 2 (01:02:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:02:42):
I mean, I definitely think you're in New York. You've
been here a long time.
Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
I've been here almost forty years.
Speaker 5 (01:02:47):
There are people who come over here when they're little kids,
and you know whatever, I think. My husband's a New Yorker. Now, yes,
he came from the from the UK, but he's lived
here more than he's lived there.
Speaker 3 (01:02:58):
You know, he's not according to j Lo, Nope, send
him back. Bring the swamp, Draine, the swamp. All right,
let's go around the room. Well, let's see what's on
the mind of people in the room. And there's a
lot of people in the room.
Speaker 9 (01:03:11):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:03:11):
Can we start with our guest, Scotty Bee. Let's go
around the room. Oh, totally surprising. He's in such a
good mood. I wonder why, what's up, Scotty? What's on
your mind?
Speaker 12 (01:03:23):
Till that then, I didn't know I was doing this.
I'll tell you what I'm doing this weekend. My girlfriend,
Megan and I are driving to New Hampshire to see
Darius Rucker and George Burge.
Speaker 3 (01:03:33):
Very excited. We're gonna go see a country concert in
New Hampshire. It sounds awesome. Yeah, that's awesome.
Speaker 12 (01:03:38):
Well, she's always wanted to see Darius and Hoodie and
the Blowfish, never had the chance, and this is as
close as we can get.
Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
So we're going there. I gotta say, I've known you
for how many years? Oh, god, thirty something, yeah, thirty one.
I've never seen you as happy as you are today. Yeah.
I don't think it gets any happier than this. I
really don't. I'm at peek happiness.
Speaker 4 (01:03:57):
And Megan me too.
Speaker 5 (01:03:58):
I saw her in the hallway just before and she
seems happy. You haven't pissed her off yet.
Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
It's happiness. I okay, Hey, Froggy, what's on your mind today?
I need you guys to tell me who's right and
who's wrong in this case. You know you do this
three times a week. By the way, there's you're always
You're always wrong, You're always wrong. Not this time.
Speaker 11 (01:04:18):
So our doctors, the new doctor's office that we're going
to here in Tampa, we were outside of there and
they had like they must have a hundred Plumeria trees,
which is like the trees you see in Hawaii, and
they've got the flowers that almost look plastic, but they're real. Well,
you can supposedly cut a root off and just put
it in the ground and it will grow. Yesterday we
went back there to drop off paperwork. He says, like,
(01:04:40):
bring your tremors. I'm like, why I want to cut
part of the root off to put one in the ground.
I'm like, no, that's stealing. I'm not going to go
to the doctor's office and cut a root off and
bring it home. It even there's signs in the parking
lot that says it's under surveillance.
Speaker 3 (01:04:53):
I'm not doing that. That's theft. Correct, Yeah, I can.
Speaker 4 (01:04:58):
Ask them if you can.
Speaker 3 (01:05:00):
The building management isn't there at the doctor's office. I'm not.
Speaker 11 (01:05:02):
No, I'm not doing I'm not going there and stealing anything.
Speaker 5 (01:05:06):
Wait, she wants you to take part of the root though,
you said.
Speaker 11 (01:05:09):
Yeah, like cut it out, Like cut a piece off
of a tree that's in the ground and take it home.
Speaker 5 (01:05:13):
Well, if it's that's hanging.
Speaker 3 (01:05:16):
No, you no, you're You're actually right from one absolutely,
thank you very much. That's stealing and I'm not going
to jail for that.
Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
I agree with Lisa.
Speaker 5 (01:05:23):
Get the flower.
Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
Oh do not listen to Gandhi ever.
Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
Good for the earth.
Speaker 15 (01:05:30):
You want more flowers, more trees, you can have more
bees around to feed.
Speaker 4 (01:05:34):
It's a good thing. It's just a flower, not killing it.
Speaker 3 (01:05:37):
If you're stealing it, you're stealing it.
Speaker 4 (01:05:40):
Ask someone or leave a note Hi, I took part
of your flower.
Speaker 3 (01:05:43):
If you want to know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:05:45):
You know what.
Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
The more I know Gandhi, the more I I'm afraid
to turn my back to her. My God, thank you,
thank you. I was speaking of Gandi Goddy. It's on
your mind today.
Speaker 4 (01:05:55):
Hello?
Speaker 15 (01:05:55):
All right, Daniel Froggy and I were just talking about
this off the air. So the World Cup is in town.
That means you're going to see tons of people from
tons of places. Forty eight countries are in the United States,
and that means there will be jerseys people representing all
different places. Love, do not be the person who yells
at them to go back to where they came from.
They are here because we invited them for a reason.
Speaker 4 (01:06:17):
And that is a crazy thing to do. There are
guests they're gonna go back when they want to go back.
Speaker 15 (01:06:22):
But they came to support our economy and see a
beautiful thing happening.
Speaker 4 (01:06:26):
The World Cup is a huge deal. Don't be that
person that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:06:29):
Here's an idea. Don't tell anyone to go back to
the country, no matter why they're here. We actually had
a text with someone who was wearing the Mexico jersey
at Target yesterday and someone told them to go back
to their country. Are you kidding me?
Speaker 4 (01:06:43):
That's a crazy thing to do.
Speaker 15 (01:06:44):
Don't be those people enjoy it, Invite people and treat
them well and it's nice.
Speaker 5 (01:06:49):
Yesterday it was someplace and there were with people with
four different countries represented on their cats, on their jerseys.
Speaker 4 (01:06:56):
It was the coolest thing.
Speaker 5 (01:06:57):
They were all talking about the matches and how excited
did they were. It was awesome. That's what it's all about.
Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
Let's go back to Texas. You're not a New York here,
you exactly. Jlo told me to go back to Texas,
back to where you get from. People are texting and
saying it's not stealing. Take a branch, Take a branch.
Plants can be propagated. Take a branch. But you know
they said that she she wants the roots too.
Speaker 6 (01:07:21):
Though.
Speaker 11 (01:07:22):
What if everybody in town went and propagated that plant.
Speaker 3 (01:07:24):
They did, no plant left.
Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
Imagine how pretty the town would be.
Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
How can you argue with that? Okay, Danielle, what's on
your mind?
Speaker 5 (01:07:34):
So yesterday I pull into my driveway and on my
lawn is a ten foot inflatable messy holding a sogerpl
and it's you know it says Lows on the front
because I think he sponsored by Lows.
Speaker 3 (01:07:48):
Tell him to go back to the country.
Speaker 5 (01:07:49):
Exactly like I said to my husband, He's like, we're
going all out in this house. So, I mean, my
house is so decked out for World Cup right now.
There is soccer stuff everywhere. It's last night he was
hanging in England flag in.
Speaker 3 (01:08:02):
The living room and I can't keep all this stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:08:04):
I can't.
Speaker 5 (01:08:05):
We have so much chog. We are like Chochke family.
Speaker 2 (01:08:08):
And I walked.
Speaker 5 (01:08:08):
Downstairs and yes, chairs like that looks pretty good, Like, oh, like,
I love this. So we decorate our house where we
buy something cool everywhere we go. It doesn't matter for matches.
If it means something to us, it's in the house
and that's what it's all about. Who cares?
Speaker 3 (01:08:21):
So should have you ever come in and say your
house is messy? It literally?
Speaker 9 (01:08:24):
Is?
Speaker 17 (01:08:24):
It?
Speaker 2 (01:08:24):
Really? Is? All right? Is this?
Speaker 3 (01:08:26):
So we're looking?
Speaker 5 (01:08:27):
And actually the neighbors were so excited that he was
on the lawn yesterday. They were very happy to see
our ten foot messy standing.
Speaker 16 (01:08:33):
On You better.
Speaker 3 (01:08:35):
Thank god you don't live in a hoa neighborhood, they
would you would be killed scary. What's up with you today?
Speaker 6 (01:08:42):
I just want to wish my dad, Tony Skeary a
very happy eightieth birthday. Tomorrow's birthday, and I know he
shares it with our friend Greg t and your husband Alex.
Speaker 3 (01:08:56):
Oh yeah, oh my god, Tomorrow's Alex's birthday. Thanks for reminder.
Happy birthday to Tony, Happy birthday, Greg Tea, Happy birthday
to Alex. What's up with you today? Straight day? Today's
a big day National Jerky Day. What's your favorite dried meat, Elvis?
(01:09:19):
I have so many dried meats on my mind. I
little turkey jerky. I love a good turkey jerky. Yeah,
a little beef jerky. You can jerk pretty much anything,
So do yourself a favor and your meat. You can
jerk any meat. Dry at your meat and just jerk
(01:09:39):
it and have a good time. It's so good, it's
such fun. It's so full of protein. You don't realize that.
Put it in your brotea. I'm gonna chop up. I'm
gonna chop up some jerky. Put it in my protein. Yeah,
there you go. Wow, this is the strangest day ever.
I feel like maybe I'm still asleep and this is
a nightmare. All right. Three things we need to know
(01:10:03):
is that we're here. Let's do Three things we need
to know from Gandhi live from Charlotte. Thank you to
everyone in Charlotte at the iHeart Studios for taking care
of Gandhi today. All right, Three things? What's going on?
Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
All right?
Speaker 15 (01:10:14):
Iran's state media says no deal has yet been reached
on any piece with the US, but that there's a
possibility it could happen. President Trump announced yesterday that he
had canceled planned strikes in the area because a deal
was imminent, to the point where he said it could
be signed as soon as this weekend. The man accused
of killing a Minnesota state lawmaker and her husband pleaded
(01:10:35):
guilty to federal charges yesterday.
Speaker 4 (01:10:37):
We remember this story right.
Speaker 15 (01:10:38):
Vance Bolter was charged with shooting and killing Minnesota Representative
Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark State Senator John Hoffman.
His wife Yvette, and their daughter Hope were also injured
in a separate shooting. The judge accepted the recommendation from
the government of two consecutive life sentences plus forty years,
And finally, a family of four was rescued after a
(01:11:00):
malfunction at six Flags Saint Louis left them stranded over
one hundred feet in the air.
Speaker 4 (01:11:04):
Does it seem like this is happening more and more lately?
Speaker 2 (01:11:07):
It does.
Speaker 5 (01:11:07):
It's kind of crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:11:09):
Yeah, there's been a lot of malfunctioning rides lately.
Speaker 15 (01:11:11):
Authorities say the issue with the sky with the park's
Skyscreamer ride Thursday evening left two adults and two teenagers
suspend it about one hundred and twenty feet above the ground.
They were stranded up there for almost three hours until
Cruz got a high angle rescue operation going to bring
them back down. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. And those
are your three things.
Speaker 3 (01:11:32):
But what a beautiful view?
Speaker 15 (01:11:34):
Yeah, for three hours you had that view just dangling.
Speaker 5 (01:11:38):
If I'm upside down for three hours, could you imagine
if you're upside down for three hours. That's not I
don't think that's healthy. I mean, they must have to
come up and get you.
Speaker 3 (01:11:47):
I tried.
Speaker 4 (01:11:48):
Are you kemmy?
Speaker 3 (01:11:50):
Come on? Do we have a game? Can we have
some fun? Is there something fun we can do?
Speaker 4 (01:11:57):
Can we have a family feud? This feels like a
family feud day?
Speaker 3 (01:12:00):
Oh you want to do a favorite?
Speaker 8 (01:12:02):
Come on?
Speaker 3 (01:12:03):
You want to continue arguing. We haven't argued, have we disagreed?
Speaker 10 (01:12:09):
I know we have.
Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
You're on a gummy. I don't know if you're gonna
remember this. I think I'm still effed up a little
bit from that sleep that sleep gummy.
Speaker 5 (01:12:22):
If we go tomorrow and just say you said all
this stuff, you won't even.
Speaker 3 (01:12:24):
Know I did that. I'm sure I'll remember bits and
pieces of.
Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
Still ran in the Morning show.
Speaker 3 (01:12:33):
Hey, it's scary Jones.
Speaker 6 (01:12:34):
And just to bring you up to speed, I embarked
on life journey recently with my friends at Orderly Meds.
I wanted to lose weight a different way, do it steadily,
and still be able to eat what I want. And
of course a lot of my friends and family have
had success with JLP ones, so I figured why not
try that route. Turns out it was the best decision
I could have made. Went to the Orderly med site
and after a free brief consultation, their medical professionals determined
(01:12:55):
that a tranzepetide was best for me. That was about
three months ago, and here I am now up in
my dotage again and still filling one d per. Oh
my XLT shirts and polos have moved to the back
of my closet and I'm fitting into my large stuff again.
These are all great signs. It's all done telemed or
on the phone, online and constantly staying in touch with
text messaging, and all the medication is shipped direct to
(01:13:17):
my door discreetly. If you're thinking about starting on GLP ones, hey,
a conversation with orderly Meds is free. Just go to
orderlymeds dot com slash radio and in minutes you'll have
answers from real medical professionals. Just remember eligibility is determined
by a licensed provider and you should consult your own doctor.

Speaker 4 (01:13:44):
Good morning, I love you all.
Speaker 8 (01:13:46):
That's right, I love you guys.
Speaker 5 (01:13:48):
I listen to you every morning.
Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Morning mister and your morning show.
Speaker 3 (01:13:52):
So excited is what is it? It's new music Fridays.
Speaker 10 (01:13:55):
What it is?
Speaker 3 (01:13:56):
And Garrett has some samples of a lot of new
music out today. We'll get it in to that with
the sound in a moment. Right now, let's get into
Danielle's report. Danielle talk about what Olivia Rodrigo did on
the iHeart stations last night. This was a big night
last night.
Speaker 5 (01:14:09):
So yeah, so her album dropped today or like midnight
last night, so in celebration and get ready for it.
She was giving love advice to people. And if you
left like a little message on the talk back app,
then you might have gotten Olivia to give you some
love advice. It was an hour show, was on all
the iHeart stations. It was pretty cool. So he's just
a little bit of what happened last night.
Speaker 3 (01:14:29):
So my boyfriend forgot our two year anniversary and I
don't know how mad I should be about it.
Speaker 4 (01:14:36):
Oh my god? Ooh to you?
Speaker 5 (01:14:38):
What's the context of it? Was he like doing something
and he just this just straight up for god, he.
Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
Just straight up for god.
Speaker 6 (01:14:44):
I kind of waited the whole day thinking that he
was gonna surprise me later on, and then I called
him once I got out of class and he was
playing video games with his friend.
Speaker 3 (01:14:54):
Oh no, not the video games.
Speaker 10 (01:14:57):
Oh god.
Speaker 4 (01:14:58):
Okay, I don't know.
Speaker 18 (01:15:00):
Maybe I'm like a toxic positivity person here, But have
you guys had a kind of conversation about it since?
Did you like tell him how disappointed you are?
Speaker 2 (01:15:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:15:08):
I told him.
Speaker 10 (01:15:08):
I was like a little bit more sentimental and I'm
more like openly affectionate.
Speaker 3 (01:15:14):
And I don't think he is.
Speaker 10 (01:15:17):
So I was wondering how to navigate that.
Speaker 3 (01:15:20):
You know what I think you have to do.
Speaker 18 (01:15:21):
I think he has to make it up to you.
I think you have to like kind of be like, okay, well,
like if you're gonna do that, then I'm gonna like
take a little bit of a step away and see
what he does and see if.
Speaker 3 (01:15:29):
He father This is the worst advice ever.
Speaker 16 (01:15:35):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (01:15:36):
I love the song. We're playing an album. It's all good.
But no, that's bad advice. Is that bad advice? Is
that good advice?
Speaker 5 (01:15:43):
I mean, I think you definitely have to have a
conversation with the guy, but you know, sometimes maybe if
you take a step back, he'll want you a little
bit more.
Speaker 2 (01:15:49):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:15:51):
It's just two years, they're not married, it's a it's
a boyfriend.
Speaker 5 (01:15:56):
Well, but still he should put more effort in and
not just with his stupid video game.
Speaker 3 (01:16:00):
Am I crazy here? I mean no, Okay, I feel wondering. Okay, Anyway,
it was a lot of fun. Last night on the
iHeart Stations was a living run Rico giving bad advice,
bad love advice. You read the album's great if you
heard it yet, if you tragedy.
Speaker 5 (01:16:16):
The album is fantastic. But okay, and she's you know,
she's very special.
Speaker 2 (01:16:19):
We like her, all right.
Speaker 5 (01:16:20):
Let's talk about George Clooney. He has a suggestion. He
was talking to the Hollywood reporter who should be James
Bond and he thinks it should be Callum Turner. And
that's the rumor right now. That's Dualipa's husband. So maybe
it will be U Callum. We'll see. He's tall, he's handsome,
he's charming, he's British, he's perfect. That's that's George Clooney.
By the way, that's exactly what you said. So Dolly
(01:16:42):
Bardon is giving us Dolly's Cup of Ambition. It is
a brand new signature coffee from Dolly, making its public
debut at Dolly's Tennessee and Travel Stop, which opens June
twenty fourth. It's off exit twenty two on I sixty
five south of Nashville. As you're welcome, So if you're
over there, stop in and say hi and get a
(01:17:03):
old coffee. So pre World Cup matches performing pre Cup Okay,
let me try that again. Pre World Cup match performances
start today, Katie Perry, You've got Future Black Pinks, Lisa
Tyla Anita at Sofi Stadium in la You've got a
lot of Morse at Michael Boublay Alesia Kara in Toronto,
and of course a bunch of other things are going
(01:17:25):
on as well all over the place. I know fan
Fest action has been kicking off everywhere, so a lot
of fun stuff. And what do we have today, Well,
we have two games, Canada and Bosnia and the US
and Paraguay going at it tonight. Tomorrow you have four
matches and then on Sunday you have four matches. You
can hear it all on the iHeartRadio app if you
want to if you can't watch it. And we also
(01:17:45):
have a little game tomorrow night the Nicks and Nia
and the Spurs game number five. And if the Nixt win,
that means they win it all. So we'll see. And
I cannot forget the Stanley Cup Finals because yesterday I
found out that there are people who really do care
about it with the Knights and the Hurricanes and those
two teams, so we need to give them some love
as well. That is happening, and there's a lot of
(01:18:06):
other things to stream. And if you're going to go
to the theaters this weekend, Disclosure Day is supposed to
be phenomenal, you may want to check that out. Maybe
get out a little bit. It's so get out a
little bit, but go into the theater. And that's my
TENI point.
Speaker 3 (01:18:19):
A lot of people are texting in in reference to
that love advice from Olivia Rodrigo when she using her
special that's not on iHeart. The only anniversaries that matter
or when you were legally obligated to address them you
were married, contractually joined together boyfriend girlfriend is fake in
the eyes of the law.
Speaker 5 (01:18:37):
No, I do not agree with that. Okay, all have
dating anniversaries that they celebrate if they've been together, like
you know, a couple of years just reading text.
Speaker 3 (01:18:46):
Here's another one, so dramatic, too much pressure on this stuff.
Some guys and even some girls don't remember stuff like that,
like a two year anniversary from dating. As long as
he treats you right, who cares?
Speaker 6 (01:18:57):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (01:18:58):
Here's another one. You can't get mad if you're just
dating somebody and they forgot the day you started dating. Hello.
Speaker 5 (01:19:03):
I think all the people that texted that in have
forgotten people's dates. They forgotten they dated people.
Speaker 4 (01:19:10):
I don't know the day we're in it, and I
started dating. I have no idea. We just picked one.
Speaker 3 (01:19:15):
Exactly. I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:19:18):
I know the date I started dating. It was yesterday.
Well but it was yesterday, twenty nine years ago.
Speaker 3 (01:19:24):
Okay, all right, well there's that. Let's get into sound
with Garrett Is New Music Friday. Yes, a happy day
after your anniversary, Danielle, Thanks, what's going on? All right?
Let's start with the Knicks first. So this is what
it sounded like at the end of the game when
og Ananobi tipped the ball in and if you're watching
on TV, don't bump some cats. It fires up with
(01:19:46):
three shop no good. But that's gone, it's gone.
Speaker 2 (01:19:50):
It's gone.
Speaker 3 (01:19:52):
Too remaining. Let's take the lead. But let's go around
the world. This this moment, this is what it sounded
like in Spain. Good, it's so excited. What about the France. Okay,
(01:20:14):
let's go to France, my kids on.
Speaker 16 (01:20:25):
And then finally let's go to Germany.
Speaker 17 (01:20:28):
Iron goofs oh Giannoby that is Bronson and Lena Jaalen
Blanston tety line.
Speaker 3 (01:20:44):
I love it.
Speaker 16 (01:20:45):
I'm so excited. All right, let me move over to
new music Friday. So Backstreet Boys has new music. This
is going to be in the new Paw Patrol movie,
the Dino movie. And this is called Bottle Up.
Speaker 3 (01:20:57):
This Moment? What movie is that?
Speaker 16 (01:21:06):
In the Paul Patrol the Dino movie.
Speaker 3 (01:21:09):
They we're here yesterday in the building, an interview, leave
us a surprise, a gift, A gift. I'll go check.
Speaker 16 (01:21:17):
BTS has some new music.
Speaker 14 (01:21:18):
This is called come Over, cam Nast cannot come, m
Last cannot come on.
Speaker 3 (01:21:30):
There you go to Yes. Benson Boone has a new
one called the Time of My Life. I love Benson Boone.
Can we hear that whole song? I can?
Speaker 16 (01:21:44):
I can grab in a second. It kind of gives
me a Freddie Mercury vibe to it as he sings.
So I'm in kid le Roy. So you might have
heard this if you watched Off Campus. This song came
out two years ago, but because of Off Campus on Prime,
the song has become very popular again. And he put
out a remix with Kaylanie. This is Girls. He didn't
do right.
Speaker 3 (01:22:02):
That's too bad. Now you are done. Just trying to
cash out.
Speaker 8 (01:22:06):
You and your friends are trying to latch out, and
I'm not the one that's understand that.
Speaker 2 (01:22:11):
The show danger.
Speaker 9 (01:22:15):
There.
Speaker 16 (01:22:15):
And then finally bb Rexa has another one called one Day. Gosh,
she is a machine working.
Speaker 3 (01:22:21):
Here's another.
Speaker 16 (01:22:30):
Feeling escay you miles away?
Speaker 3 (01:22:37):
Going to make an assumption about that, Thank you, BB,
I'm gonna make an assumption about bb Rexa. She puts
all this music in. She obviously loves what she does.
Speaker 5 (01:22:46):
You know what I'm saying, Oh, maybe this is the
summer of BB that will be fairy.
Speaker 3 (01:22:50):
Okay, we've almost every summer has been BB for a while.
She's she's always putting music out right, She's it's NonStop.
But okay, let's make this the summer of BEBE. I'm
deal and you're a good America guy, all right. Speaking
of Olivia Rodrigo, you know the connection with her and
The Cure, the band the Cure, right, and she talked
(01:23:12):
about that when she was in with us. She did
that duet with Robert Smith from The Cure called What's
Wrong with Me? I believe it's what it's called. And
she was at a glaston Glastonbury festival and she performed
Friday I'm in Love and declared him her personal hero.
Remember that, Yeah, yeah, absolutely some I'm thinking I'm thinking
(01:23:34):
here it is, It's Friday, and a lot of people
may have not heard Friday I'm in Love by the Cure.
This is the song that Olivia Rodrigo loves and I
think if you're hearing it for the first time, you'll
love it too. It's the Cure. Welcome to Friday Young.
Speaker 16 (01:23:48):
Collectively, as a team, you guys are just literally the best.
Speaker 2 (01:23:52):
Elvis Duran in The Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (01:23:55):
Born from the tragedy of ninety eleven, the Tunnel to
Towers Foundation has been honoring America's heroes ever since. Donate
eleven dollars a month and amplify your impact. For a
car or land donation, go to T two T dot org.
That's t the number two T dot org.
Speaker 2 (01:24:12):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (01:24:15):
All Right, a couple of words I wanted to investigate today.
The word of the day is exhausts, exhaustor wellmulated. Have
you heard that exhaustor wellmulated before? It's you're exhausted, overwhelmed,
and over stimulated all at the same time. Exhaustor wellmulated. Okay,
(01:24:39):
I'm exhausted just trying to say it. Is anyone in
the room, it's do I have to say.
Speaker 4 (01:24:43):
It again, supercalifragilistics.
Speaker 3 (01:24:48):
Can you turn her back up? I can't hear her. Scary,
What are you doing? Nod that? What's on? She was
very low. I'm the only one who heard it low.
Speaker 5 (01:24:58):
It might have been your headphones.
Speaker 3 (01:25:01):
M hm no, wait now, Danielle's Danielle's blurry.
Speaker 1 (01:25:07):
Zoom.
Speaker 3 (01:25:08):
Are you having a I've had to Are you having
a stroke? Raise your mouth?
Speaker 11 (01:25:12):
Smile?
Speaker 3 (01:25:15):
My heart's equipment sucks. You're blaming it all my stroke. No, yeah,
that's better. And when when she was talking, when Goney
was talking, it was very low. Then it got loud again. Well, no,
it's a just put the pie down. I'm talking to you. Scary,
Oh my god, scary. Yes, I'm talking to you.
Speaker 4 (01:25:36):
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (01:25:40):
This room is out of control. Scary. I know you're
eating pie and it's good. It's a tasty pie. But
that said, did you did you turn her up? And
now she's louder I moved yes or no?
Speaker 6 (01:25:52):
Yes, I turned her up more okay, But in the
beginning there was an echo in the room, and it
was Danielle's speaker.
Speaker 3 (01:26:00):
Computer speaker was on so good two places. It was
a slight open, so I asked if it was lower
and you all said no, no, we didn't hear that,
but you did.
Speaker 5 (01:26:09):
I didn't hear it all. I didn't hear it in
my phone. But that's okay.
Speaker 3 (01:26:13):
Scary Scary is so into this pie. He can't focus
on his job. I'm sorry. Did you see that? It's Friday.
I'm in love with this pie.
Speaker 15 (01:26:25):
He was doing it earlier when we were trying to
figure out how to connect and he was getting a
bagel and he had cream cheese all over his mouth
and wasn't paying attention to anything we were saying.
Speaker 4 (01:26:35):
And the engineer here took a picture.
Speaker 3 (01:26:39):
Can you say that to us? I want to see that.
I'm gonna have to get it, Scary, We're gonna have to.
We're gonna we're gonna have to make pie illegal while
we're on the air. That's no pies or not pie.
I will give you put the pie down. I can wait.
I can wait for the commercials to eat pie. Thank you,
away back away from the pie. God. These gummies I
(01:27:00):
took last night, I think I'm tripping on something. I'm serious.
I am in the best mood today. I'm ready to go.
What did they put in my gummies? What did I takes?
It's not I don't want to say it's not regulated,
but I mean it's kind of like, yeah, whoever's running
the machine that day, maybe they just crank it up
a little bit more.
Speaker 1 (01:27:20):
Why not?
Speaker 3 (01:27:21):
No, But I do have this extremely euphoric feeling today.
But I took these last night at like seven o'clock,
eight o'clock, and I had the best night's sleep. And
I think maybe that's what it is? Just one or two?
Speaker 8 (01:27:32):
Just one?
Speaker 11 (01:27:32):
I just took one, Um should take two? Planet he
won't wake up till next Wednesday.
Speaker 3 (01:27:39):
That's his plan. It's one and a half milligrams of
THC per gummy and then twenty milligrams of CBD. That's
all it has. It's this fields f e a LS
Tranquil tangerine is the flavor. Anyway, So where did that
pie come from? Scotty brought it in? Yeah, his girlfriend,
your girlfriend, Megan got it. Yeah, she picked it up
(01:28:00):
Tranquility Farms yesterday. Where's that It's in Tranquility, New Jersey
now Alamuchi area, Newton over there, you know what, I
can drive there. I'm driving there to get that pie
so I can see look scary any more. The pies
are great. I wasn't eat you're any more pie. I
tried to sneak a taste while no, you guys were
talking to someone else. Oh my god, I thought we
(01:28:20):
banned he's timing out his bites. We banned the pie
until we go to a break. I'm sorry, I forgured
he's not talking to me right now. I could sneak
a taste. Wow, scary, you are something else anyway. So
back to that word exhaustor wumulated, when you're exhausted, when
you're exhausted, overwhelmed and over stimulated at the same time. Okay,
(01:28:44):
there's another word I was looking at today. Uh, tan maxing.
We've heard of maxing other things, right, yes, now it's
tan maxing. I would call that cancer maxing. You're not careful.
Speaker 4 (01:28:58):
What is the definition of tan maxing?
Speaker 15 (01:29:00):
Because I know a lot of times when people would
take vacation and come back tan, they specifically were certain
collars to make it look better.
Speaker 4 (01:29:07):
I'm like an alien, Yeah, Gandhi sending an alien now? What.
Speaker 3 (01:29:11):
Okay, hold on, let me answer your question while we
fixed that. Tan maxing. It's viral. I saw it everywhere.
It's it's social media everywhere. Gen zers are going to
extreme lengths to chase darker skin. It can be done safely,
but if it's done just with sun I called it cantrimaxing.
That's my point. So yeah, tan maxing it's big right now.
(01:29:34):
Apparently tanning beds are back. I was reading about this
is terrible.
Speaker 5 (01:29:39):
There's so many other things you can do now. There's
so many likes right down or even in the stores.
They have great like you know, tanning lotions that you
just slap on yourself.
Speaker 3 (01:29:49):
You know, if you want to get in a tanning bed,
wait till you're dead and haven't just put the bulbs
in your coffin. You know what I'm saying. Set it
on the timer medium rare, either like a week or
or a week or two. All right, So there he is. Yeah,
these gummies, I'm gonna take another one tonight. If you
(01:30:10):
don't even remember these show tomorrow, I remember that.
Speaker 5 (01:30:14):
No about that's the best part. He's hoping.
Speaker 3 (01:30:18):
The only thing I'm gonna take away from the show
today is yelling it scary for eating pie when I'm
trying to talk to it. He Okay, you have to
envision this. He has the plate up to his face
and he's he's using a fork just to shovel it
off the plate into his mouth.
Speaker 11 (01:30:35):
Right, and he waits for you to talk to somebody
else for four seconds, and so he could eat some more.
Speaker 3 (01:30:41):
No, but I was talking to him directly, and he
just had no concept of anyone.
Speaker 15 (01:30:47):
I think sometimes it was scary if his mouth is working,
he can't think.
Speaker 4 (01:30:51):
At the same time. Because if you try to talk
to him while he's eating, no, hope.
Speaker 3 (01:30:55):
What's the same as when he's talking, he closes his eyes.
Have you noticed that? Scary? You do close your eyes
when you talk? Yeah, because I can only focus on
one thing at a time. One. Yeah, So he's doing
it now. Look, yeah, we're talking. I usually am like
wincing or looking at nothing. I think you have. Okay,
let's say your battery. You have a battery that controls
(01:31:17):
your energy in your body. When you do one thing,
it shuts down all your other stuff. Right, it's a
serious circuit instead of a parallel circuit. Exactly. So when
he talks, he has to close his eyes. He can't
use eyes at the same time as his mouth.
Speaker 4 (01:31:31):
Scary, does it makes sense?
Speaker 3 (01:31:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:31:34):
I can't.
Speaker 3 (01:31:35):
All right, Well, anyway, I hope you have a good weekend, Scotty,
and I hope you do have a great one. It's there.
Speaker 11 (01:31:40):
You don't ever eat and drive, do you never?
Speaker 16 (01:31:43):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:31:43):
Yeah, don't do that. You're like an elector. You're like
an EV. We should plug you into the wall and
charge you up a little bit, all right. Juju Green
is on hold. We gotta get him on here in
a few minutes, talking about the weekend movies, and apparently
he's got a couple of movies he say. He says
are his favorite movies of all time. Yeah, he saw
two movies apparently at the same time, the same day.
(01:32:04):
They he says, they're both his favorite ones. What text
are you talking about here? They're giving you advice on
what to go to order when you go to Tranquility Farms.
Oh really, what are they saying? Make sure you try
their homemade ice cream. It's amazing, and you have to
meet their zonkey. It's a zebra donkey. I guess so, Scotty.
(01:32:27):
Yet I sell you the pictures beautiful.
Speaker 9 (01:32:32):
So that.
Speaker 3 (01:32:34):
I guess that's how it works. It's a it's a
wonky donkey. Okay, you know what. I will be going
to Tranquility Farms. I feel like I woke up in
Tranquility Farm this morning. Okay, So I need the honey
Crisp apple pie, and I need to meet the donkeys
and try the ice creamzes right out front. Okay, all right,
(01:32:55):
So Juju is gonna talk all things movies, either in
the theater or streaming. Everything you need as far as
you're entertainment. This weekend, Juju has it coming up. Yo,
I'm gonna play Hooky Gibbye.
Speaker 2 (01:33:06):
Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
Speaker 12 (01:33:08):
It was good then and it's better now. For over
forty years, Pedigree has been bringing out the good in dogs.
Every bowl delivers one hundred percent complete adult nutrition, supporting
six health essentials for your dog. That's the Pedigree Goodness Promise.
Speaker 2 (01:33:28):
Is Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (01:33:32):
Push the Juju green button. I think he's here there
he is, yeah, right here, otherwise known as straw Hat
Goofy on your socials and of course his podcast Juju.
We have so much to talk about. What are we
watching on stream? And what are we watching in the theaters?
Where do you want to start?
Speaker 1 (01:33:47):
Well, I think we should start big and they go
smaller as we go along. Okay, So first off, I
don't know if you guys have heard, Steven Spielberg has
a new movie out. It Scott's Closure Day. He's going
back to his roots Aliens, and it's fantastic.
Speaker 3 (01:34:02):
I love that.
Speaker 4 (01:34:03):
Well, I want to see this one so bad.
Speaker 1 (01:34:05):
It is a classic st Steven Spielbergian movie. Now, I
will say this, for better or for worse, it's a
very old school style movie. I feel like if this
would have came out the eighties or the early nineties,
would have been the best movie of all time. But
people are more cynical. People don't necessarily like that type
of thing. And I don't want to say they don't
like it, but it just feels old school and will
(01:34:27):
people have the patience to get to the ending, which
I will say has one of the best endings in
all of movies. I will say that, listen, I'm happy
doing that. I'm happy doing that. It's a great ending.
Not telling you what happens, but I felt something. I
felt to think wow, and so yeah, Steven Spielberg Disclosure Day.
(01:34:49):
It's an event, it's a movie, it's a picture. You
should watch it.
Speaker 4 (01:34:53):
How does it end?
Speaker 3 (01:34:57):
Et goes Home?
Speaker 1 (01:35:00):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:35:00):
You gave that away? You spoiled that is this? Okay Spielberg,
you know what? He even said publicly, The whole world
owes me for making outer space such a fabulous place.
All right, okay, check, we want to go see that.
What else? We also owe him for the dinosaurs? Next up?
Speaker 1 (01:35:16):
The Furious. I think I might have hinted at this
a little bit. If not, I definitely hinted that on
my podcast, on my TikTok, on my Instagram. This movie, y'all,
is one of the best action movies that I have
ever seen. If you've seen movies like The Raid, if
you've seen movies like It Man, if you love Tony Jaw,
if you love Joe taslm. This movie has some of
the most creative and insane actionious sequelces that I've ever seen.
Speaker 3 (01:35:40):
To the point we're in the middle of the movie,
I threw my hands up.
Speaker 1 (01:35:43):
And said, I don't even know what I'm watching anymore,
because I've never seen anything like this put to film.
Speaker 3 (01:35:50):
My gabber has been flasted or whatever that way of saying.
Speaker 4 (01:35:53):
That is.
Speaker 3 (01:35:55):
Your gas set has been flabbered.
Speaker 1 (01:35:58):
We don't know my gas that has been flappered for sure,
because I've never seen action that literally broke my brain
and just made me scream out in the theater. How
the hell are they doing this? That's that movie, The Furious.
It's fantastic. It's basically this generation is the Raid. Please please,
I know Disclosure Day's a think. I know Steven Spielberg
is a thing. Please watch The Furious. You will not
(01:36:20):
regret it. It's Corey question for you. Awesome, How come
right now?
Speaker 3 (01:36:23):
They're all like, there's two major, major, incredible films at
the same time. Is that sort of unusual? That's not there?
But treat it as your barbinhiber. I'm calling it. I'm
calling it Furious Day.
Speaker 5 (01:36:35):
Oh wow.
Speaker 3 (01:36:36):
All right, we'll tell you. Okay, so far we have
Disclosure Day and The Furious. Okay, keep going, all right.
Next up, we have a series that just hit season two.
But this is my excuse to tell you to watch
all two seasons. Start from the beginning.
Speaker 1 (01:36:49):
Watch it to get to season two, because if you
like Colman to Bingo and Disclosure Day, you can go
home and watch the four seasons, which pretty great stuff.
I don't know if you guys are watching four seasons,
but it's essentially about a group of friends who are
all married. First season has Steve Carell, and there is
a dynamic that's introduced within the group that forces them
(01:37:11):
to look inward.
Speaker 3 (01:37:11):
On their relationships and how they want it to go.
Speaker 1 (01:37:14):
It's a great it's a great look at just kind
of like aging relationships as well as age dynamics and
things like that.
Speaker 3 (01:37:19):
I really really enjoyed it.
Speaker 1 (01:37:21):
It's highly funny. All the actors are fantastic. It's written
and directed by Tito Fay. Tina Fey is also starring
in it. Will Forte, Colmen Domingos, Steve Carell, Erica Hennison
who played Katie on Broadways Mean Girls. We also had
on the podcast as well. Seriously, really really good show,
really enjoyable show.
Speaker 3 (01:37:39):
I loved it. I think the four seasons rocks. So
you can watch it on Netflix. I love season one,
Season two. I didn't even know what's out. So thanks
to you, all right, something to do this weekend. That's
why I'm here, Elvis, that's thank Thank God for you.
Juju all right, we got one thing that's actually streaming.
It was a big thing that happened in the theaters,
but now you can watch it at home. Michael.
Speaker 1 (01:38:00):
In case you missed it in the theaters, you could
watch Michael at home and is now available for streaming.
Speaker 3 (01:38:05):
God, thank god. I want to see this, Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:38:08):
Uh. It's some of the best musical performances that I've
ever seen in a music biopic. Jafar Jackson is a
star as his uncle Michael Jackson. But oh my gosh, seriously,
I can't think about stop thinking about some of the
experiences that I've had watching like the Bad Performance or
the Human Nature performance and every other performance. All the
performances are so dang good. Just watch it for those
(01:38:29):
alone and watch it with your family because he doesn't
like singing to Michael quit the fail.
Speaker 3 (01:38:33):
Damn, it's incredible. I want to see it. I'm gonna
sit down, grab a bottle of Jesus juice and just
enjoy that deep cut. Seriously, I love Michael. Frailler came
on for some reason some channel I was listening to
yesterday driving around. I'm like, I create that thing out.
It was so nice. So Juju's telling us Steven Spielberg
(01:38:57):
and Disclosure Day could be the best film he's ever
and then he says, we need to see The Furious
because it could be the best film he's ever seen.
True true, Now you gotta be all excited streaming. A
lot of people didn't even know it was back for
season two. The four seasons is there and now also
in your streaming you can see Michael if we're all
gonna watch that as well. This is a huge week.
Speaker 5 (01:39:18):
Guys are allowed to tell us about toy story yet I.
Speaker 1 (01:39:22):
Could tell you, but look, I could give you a
reaction to toy story. Toy Story five. Okay, oh yeah,
Toy Story five, are you guys ready?
Speaker 10 (01:39:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:39:29):
Yeah, yeah, yeah to be every bit is good in
a brochureless Toy Stories two and three. Wow, No, Toy
Story five had me in a puddle. And again, no spoilers,
all reaction. Every toy story has matchup with my life.
First toy story, sorry for the older jokers who are
around here, came out when I was three years old, right.
(01:39:50):
Toy Story three released the same day I graduated high school.
Now we are in the toys versus Tech conversation, the
iPad kids I have an eight year old daughter who
is very much an iPad kid. That is one of
the most emotionally resident things that I could have gotten
out of a toy story three. I feel like these
movies are made for me specifically, and Jesse is the
(01:40:11):
main character. Yes as well, So if you like Jesse,
she's the main character. This timmer around Taylor Swift.
Speaker 3 (01:40:18):
I saw Taylor Swift live.
Speaker 1 (01:40:19):
I did oh yeah, I released it on my Instagram,
so you know, follow me on Instagram you want to
see that already at least like the day of Near
Full Song, she came out with Randy Newman. They say
her new song, and then they also say you got
a friend of me together. Guys, I'm not even a SWIFTYE,
but I was a SWIFTYE for like five minutes.
Speaker 3 (01:40:38):
I was for five straight. It was It was great.
And then she came to the Nixy game the next
day like like what, Yeah, she's very busy that Taylor
Swift and she's planning a wedding. Who knew. Also, Jennifer Lopez,
do we need to run out and see that?
Speaker 4 (01:40:53):
Oh my god, do you.
Speaker 3 (01:40:58):
Hesitation there?
Speaker 15 (01:40:59):
This is It's tricky because whenever we tell people do
not see a movie. It makes people want to go
see the movie, and then they yell at us and
they're like, thanks, Lo, I saw that movie.
Speaker 16 (01:41:07):
What.
Speaker 5 (01:41:07):
I'm so angry because I wanted so much to love
it and I just could not love atrocious.
Speaker 1 (01:41:13):
As someone who loves wrong cars, especially cheesy wrong cars,
there's a line that I must never cross.
Speaker 3 (01:41:20):
That movie is firmly on the other side of that line.
Speaker 4 (01:41:24):
This is a spoiler alert.
Speaker 15 (01:41:25):
When they're in the plane and she looks at him
and she's in full hair and makeup, being the pilot
and says, I'm not just the CEO, I'm also a pilot.
Speaker 2 (01:41:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:41:36):
It was so bad dude playing the plane like I'm like,
it didn't even look real.
Speaker 3 (01:41:43):
That's very believable to me. Hey, hey, I heard that
paycheck j Lo. Juju Green, we love you. Of course,
do a search for straw Goofy. The podcast is waiting
for you and all other goodies. And you have a
great week. We'll see you next week. Juju. Thank you,
you guys, have a great one. Thank you guys.
Speaker 2 (01:42:01):
