So if your car radio is bummed out or anything,
they send it to us. And where you well, I

(01:54):
this is what's wrong with my radio. How much is
it going to cost to get?

Speaker 7 (01:57):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Wow, yeah, I mean it's a little boring, but you know, no.

to do it.

Speaker 10 (02:46):
Yeah, it's it's wild how it works over.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
There and fakes it anyway. Perfect. Let's get into the day.
The three things we need to know to get a started.
What's going on? Gandhi?

Speaker 3 (02:54):
All right?

Speaker 10 (02:55):
The Gulf Coast is raising four imbacts from tropical Storm Bertha.
The latest update from the National Hurricane Center put the
storm about one hundred and twenty five miles south of
Panama City, Florida, heading northwest at maximum sustained winds of
fifty miles per hour. Bertha could bring heavy rain, winds,
rip currents, and storm surges to the region as it
moves along the coast. Those impacts could reach Louisiana by

(03:17):
tonight and moving into early tomorrow morning. Crazy story out
of Columbus, Ohio. Five people are dead after attempts to
save a struggling swimmer from a river in Ohio. This
is a very sad A group was hanging out Sunday
evening along the Syota River and Powell outside Columbus. The
Delaware County Sheriff said one person went into the water
and started struggling. Two people then went in to help

(03:39):
that person. They started to struggle. Another two went in
to help to no avail. By the end all five
were dead. Sadly. Even more sadly, a child who had
been with the group stopped a driver on a nearby road,
saying his family was in the river. The identities of
those victims have not been released yet. And finally, people
love those Costco food court items, right, Oh, call up? Yes, Well,

(04:00):
they're adding a new menu and everyone's excited. The company
now offers chicken strips along with its other popular items.
According to Costco, a single order includes five large chicken
breast strips and a container for dipping sauce for just
six dollars and ninety nine What sauce?

Speaker 1 (04:13):
What sauce?

Speaker 10 (04:13):
I don't know, just as dipping sauce. So I wonder
if you can have your pick of different sauces.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
I need honey mustard.

Speaker 10 (04:18):
That's your choice today. It is what's your choice for
dipping sauce?

Speaker 8 (04:21):
Barbecue sauce, barbecue.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Buffalo sauce. I'm a buffero sauce. Scary. What's your what's
your dipping sauce? Yeah, you're with me on that. What
about your name? I'm a barbecue boy. Yeah, wow, Scotty
be what's your sauce? Always barbecue?

Speaker 11 (04:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (04:36):
Okay, all right, interesting divide here in the room. All right.
The item was tested in stores earlier this year. It
is now being reported it is now being sold at
Costco warehouses nationally. So you can go get it. And
those are your three things?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
You guys ready for your Tuesday. I'll tell you what
that folks, sat plenty noice.

Speaker 12 (04:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
The time of the day Elvis Duran in the morning.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
So join the Tunnel to Towers Foundation on its mission
to do good in honor of America's heroes. Donate eleven
dollars a month and amplify your impact with a car
or Land donation. Go to T two TA dot org.
That's t the number two T dot org.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
This is Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Oh you know what, I wish I was a kid again.
I found a toy that I would love. A doll.
Oh well look, uh it's a realistic dolly. It's called
My Mini Baby Mom and Surprise Doll. It features a
pregnant like Barbie style doll with a removable stomach.

Speaker 8 (05:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
The stomach contains this realistic amniotic sack with a tiny
plastic baby and slime inside.

Speaker 8 (05:55):
I saw that.

Speaker 10 (05:56):
Okay, so far seems kind of real estic.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Why are ruining my surprise?

Speaker 8 (06:00):
I don't want that.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
I want to buy you that for your Christmas.

Speaker 8 (06:03):
I already have that. I did that myself, so I
don't want that. But thanks.

Speaker 10 (06:08):
How it works, I know it works.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Your amniotic sack and all that. I'm not saying it correctly, And.

Speaker 8 (06:13):
It's like the amniotic fluids amniatic sack.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
So it's a little slime that comes out very very lifelike.

Speaker 10 (06:20):
Want no, thank you. I do everything. I can't avoid that,
but I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
So to birth the baby, you remove the dull's stomach.
You pull out the sack and squeeze it until you
can push the baby out and you can flip the
dull stomach around, so her belly is flat. Again.

Speaker 13 (06:35):
Wow, that's not exactly how it happens unless you have
a C section. It kind of happens like that.

Speaker 9 (06:39):
Yes, so if you use it more than once, is
it stretching? Is it stretching the hole out? I would
imagine there's no hole. I just said, have you ever
seen a barbie?

Speaker 1 (06:50):
I just said, what they did? So where does that
come out? I was I clearly said what they do?
You take the stomach out and you squeeze it. Looking
at it now, I'm trying to figure.

Speaker 8 (07:00):
Out it doesn't come out the vagina like a regular bird.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
No, it does not come out to the vagina.

Speaker 8 (07:04):
It's more like a C section.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
But it's it's they should not exactly they should call
it c section. Sally made a video to show Okay, well, no,
I think.

Speaker 10 (07:18):
Because little pervs like you would buy this barbie for
no reason.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Can we not overthink this. I started out as me
being like the innocence of a child and wanting a doll,
and now it's turned into how the whole stretches and
I don't need that.

Speaker 10 (07:35):
I feel like this is exactly what happens when when
new things are introduced someone's like, oh wow, how cool,
And then some guys like, but what about.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
The whole that you are? You the whole guy? I'm
curious like you are. Okay, thank you. Why don't you
go study it some more. I'm gonna find a video
for it. Thanks. If you find it, don't make noises.
We have to do horoscopes. Who's doing horoscopes? I don't know.

Speaker 8 (07:57):
Why don't you have them?

Speaker 1 (07:59):
I'll do it. Give me one, give me one. You've
done enough, Nate, go look for the whole. I found
a video. Okay, thank you.

Speaker 12 (08:07):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
If it's your birthday today, you celebrate with Josh Hartnett
and John LOVETTSH. What hey cancer? Not everyone in the
room has your best interest at heart today. Be selective
about who you open up to. Your day is a sixth.

Speaker 14 (08:21):
And Leo, somebody's been taking notes on how you operate,
and today you find out why your day's a nine?

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Is that you, Nate? Are you trying to take notes
on how I operate? Virgo write out what's been weighing
on your mind. Write it out and getting it out
of your head on the paper is going to help
you out. Your day's an eight.

Speaker 14 (08:37):
Leve brought a chance to shine in a group setting
arrives today, Do not shine away from the spotlight, and
your day's a nine.

that makes all the hard work feel completely worth it. Finally,
your day's a ten, Stary, What what?

Speaker 4 (08:52):
No, it's ten, I'm ready let's go.

Speaker 14 (08:54):
Okay, Okay, okay, Sangittarius, think twice before blindly try someone
who has not yet earned that level of access to
your life.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Your day's of seven, Hello, Capricorn, take the cares of
the world off your shoulders for just a few hours
and give yourself permission just to be. Just be Okay,
I love that advice.

Speaker 14 (09:12):
Your days of six, my fellow Aquarius, is a difference
of opinion with someone close to you actually leads to
a breakthrough if you let it.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Your day's an eight, Hello, Pisces. Stop absorbing everyone else's

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Your day at eight and those are your Tuesday morning horsco.
Hello Danielle, what do you got coming up?

Speaker 13 (09:50):
Snailer Swift won the twenty twenty six World Snailed Racing Championship.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
I'll tell you all about god busy day.

Speaker 15 (09:57):
Huh.

Speaker 8 (09:58):
The World Cup led to a record number of sick days.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Yeah, how many people called out yesterday? Can you text
us now if you called out? I want to hear
from you. Text us At fifty five one, you're.

Speaker 6 (10:13):
Listening to Elvis ran in the morning show.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
So we were talking about whether or not you called
out sick yesterday, you know, after you know, partying it
up on Sunday for the World Cup Final finale. The final,
A few people texted and said that they didn't call out,
but a lot of people said they went in and
they paid the price.

Speaker 8 (10:34):
Oh I can imagine this.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
One texture said I didn't call it. I went to work,
I did a double ship. I was hurting all day.
So I mean, uh, what World Cups what every three years,
four years for three four four but Super Bowls every
year and every year we did the same thing. You
should take off Monday? Wait, really shutting down Monday? Well,

(10:58):
so what do you think that should we be Should
it be okay to call out after a brutal Sunday of.

Speaker 13 (11:05):
Sports if it's your team, if it's your team in
a big game, yes, especially if your team wins, because
you're going to be partying all night long.

Speaker 8 (11:16):
If it's not your team, not so much.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
But the other side of that, Danielle is, Look, I
don't really have a football team, right, but I like
watching the commercials at the Super Bowl, Okay, and you
know I go to a party. Yeah, and it's usually
Sunday night, didn't Someone suggests they move it to Saturday?

Speaker 10 (11:31):
Yes, yeah, yeah, that kind of makes sense.

Speaker 16 (11:32):
Play earlier on Sunday at one o'clock like they do
every other NFL game, right.

Speaker 10 (11:37):
I think you should be allowed to take an optional
spirit day after. Yeah, not be punist because not everybody's
going to do it, right. I don't really care. I'm
not going to party that hard for the most part.
But if you want to party that way, I support
your right.

Speaker 6 (11:48):
To do it. You should.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Okay, so we show up for work Monday, yeah, half
of us?

Speaker 6 (11:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Is that is that acceptable to me and my world?

Speaker 17 (11:58):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Daniel? How is that acceptable?

Speaker 8 (12:00):
Tree? I don't know. We have to talk about it.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Froggy. Well, you just said if it's your team, it's
my team.

Speaker 8 (12:07):
I'd rather not come in.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Froggy, what do you think?

Speaker 16 (12:10):
Yeah, it's fine, fine with you because I love sports,
so it overtakes my life when it happens, so I
get it. Some people are like, I don't really see
why it's that thing, and they're the ones that usually
have a problem.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
I'm fine with it.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
I was just told through text. Is this true? A
lot of people are going to take off after the
super Bowl this year because it's President's Day? Is that true?

Speaker 4 (12:30):
And it's also Valentine's Day.

Speaker 10 (12:31):
That's a good setup. That should probably be the way
it goes.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Well, it should. We should be allowed to take off
Tuesday as well. Those presidents I party hard on President's Day,
you know what, I'm saying?

Speaker 8 (12:45):
So many things on that one Monday.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
What would we do? What would our President's Day partying
look like? We have to celebrate the Calvin Coolidge, You
would get stuck in a bath of like President I have.
He was a big boy, a powdered wig. While you're going,
you're going way back, do some weird stuff.

Speaker 10 (13:03):
Yeah, for sure, honor those presidents.

Speaker 16 (13:05):
Okay, the super bowls on Valentine's Day this year or
in twenty seven.

Speaker 8 (13:10):
Okay, and it's definitely President's Day as well.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
You're saying, after all, right, now, all right, now, you
know I'm going to party like Andrew Jackson. You know
that guy was hit is still in the backyard. Yet
he hit moonshine going it was a moonshine president, wasn't he?
Oh God? All right, let's get into the horror. No, no,
the not horse grip. See Danielle report Danielle.

Speaker 13 (13:30):
All right, so let's look at the sick days and
the World's Cup. The day after team USA lost to Belgium,
attendance at offices fell by twenty six percent. That's ten
times bigger than the typical Monday after the Super Bowl. Guys,
they're saying that this is happening because if it was
your team, especially, you might have taken off. So yes,

(13:51):
it was happening. And I'm sure now we're giving everybody permission,
it's going to happen even more. Did you guys know
that there was a World's Nail Racing Championship? No, well
there is, guys, and it is a slow news day.
So let me tell you Taylor Swifts, Well, it's not
her snail, but the snail was named after her, Snailer Swift.

(14:12):
It's her champion. Congratulations are you serious doing this?

Speaker 8 (14:19):
Snaller?

Speaker 13 (14:20):
Snailer Swift became the global champion by beating two hundred
and seventy other.

Speaker 8 (14:25):
Entrance, a lot of snails who entered this content.

Speaker 13 (14:30):
It was a thirteen inch race course and in a
final time of three thirteen.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Seconds thirteen inches.

Speaker 13 (14:36):
Yes, and it took the thirty minutes and thirteen seconds
to win the championship.

Speaker 8 (14:41):
Congratulations snailer.

Speaker 10 (14:42):
How do you keep them on course? I don't know.

Speaker 13 (14:44):
It's probably got a you know, like bumbers, Yeah, bombers
on each side.

Speaker 8 (14:48):
So interesting, guys, it is a slow news day. I'm
just selling you right now.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Really, yes, all right, I can't tell.

Speaker 13 (14:55):
ESPN's Mark Ogden has taken a look at all forty
eight teams from the World's Cup and he's come up
with his list of the eleven most impressive performances in
the FIFA World Cup. And I will just give you
the number one on the list right now, the goalkeeper
from Cape verdet Beauxina, who everybody's still loving. This guy
gets standing ovations half the places he goes.

Speaker 8 (15:16):
It's so cool. People are loving to see him.

Speaker 13 (15:18):
And I'm hearing that he may be getting some offers
from places, so I'll keep you posted on that point.
Break is coming back to theaters to celebrate the film's
thirty fifth anniversary. If you remember that crime thriller was
Canna Reeves and Patrick Swayzey.

Speaker 8 (15:31):
So many people love that movie.

Speaker 13 (15:32):
Re release is gonna hit theaters on August sixteenth and
August nineteenth. And Kelly Clarkson is just as honest as
our diamonds. She just kicked off her Las Vegas residency.
She had some major tummy issues and she took to
the stage to tell everyone she thought she'd had that
diarrhea of parasite. And she said, when I got back
to my room after Friday show, I was never so

(15:54):
happy to not have a man there because he would
never make sweet love to this again.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Wow, full disclosure.

Speaker 13 (16:01):
She said a couple other things, well, we'll just stop there.

Speaker 8 (16:04):
Why don't we? What are we watching?

Speaker 13 (16:06):
The Sami Swimmer of Shaq's Dunkman. Also, America's got talent,
You've got kitchen nightmares in the Real Housewives of London
And that is my Danielle report.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
All right, So we're talking about calling out the day
after President's Day because we're going to party hard to
honor our presidents. Yeah, and I mentioned President Andrew Jackson.
Did you know President Andrew Jackson was given a massive,

(16:35):
fourteen hundred pound wheel of cheddar cheese by a dairy
farmer in beautiful Oswego County, New York. They delivered the
giant cheese. It measured four feet across the two feet thick,
and traveled in a wagon pulled by twenty four horses.
This guy partied hard. Jackson kept the enormous dairy block

(16:57):
sitting in the White House entrance hall for two years.
I mean back then they called it the People's House
and you could actually just stop by the White House
to see the president. You know that, right? I didn't
know that that has changed.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
Oh yeah, a little bit.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Over time, the aging cheese produced a very strong, pervasive
odor that filled the executive mansions.

Speaker 10 (17:17):
I can only imagine back in the day, it seemed
like everything's stunk anyway.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
Yeah, people stump, Yeah, but this is Andrew Jackson. I've
heard very bad things about him as well, that he
was not the nicest kind, he was not very nice
to me, all races, right, right, right, like that, So
let's not let's not honor him on President's Day.

Speaker 11 (17:36):
There.

Speaker 10 (17:37):
I feel like, if we really break it down, they're
gonna be like two presidents we really honor if we
learn their history.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
I bet even them have flawed.

Speaker 10 (17:44):
Yeah, probably, Oh, give me one. I was gonna say
maybe Teddy Roosevelt maybe right.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Yeah, uh yeah, Okay, I know you have a personal
love for him because of the national part.

Speaker 10 (17:55):
The person outside of that, I don't know. I really
struggle with all the rests.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Yeah, okay, well, let's crew with this presidential day.

Speaker 10 (18:02):
Then take the day away, make it super Bowl Monday.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Okay. So uh we'll say you're off super Bowl super
Bowl Monday, yeah yeah.

Speaker 8 (18:10):
Okay, and it's Valentine's Day, so we'll be off on valiant.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
Okay, let's talk about that. That's gonna be on Valentine's Day.
There are there are a few people left in the
world to go It's Valentine's Day, it's my day. Well,
no it's not. It's Super Bowl Sunday. And I hate
to break it to you. How do you share Valentine's
Day with Super Bowl Sunday? Is there a way that
we can all get along? I'll watch the super Bowl
with Lisa.

Speaker 13 (18:31):
No, I don't think she's gonna okay pizza.

Speaker 15 (18:35):
This is gonna cost a lot of breakups. Marriages will
end more than ever.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 15 (18:40):
I think so?

Speaker 13 (18:42):
Why could you just celebrate Valentine's Day like the day before,
the day after. Why does it have to be on
the fourteen? How would a marriage end because of Valentine?

Speaker 10 (18:48):
Your marriage ends because of that? It was not a
good marriage here.

Speaker 14 (18:52):
But I'm just saying because because a lot of women
take like, like for my girlfriend, oh here he goes,
hold on my girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
Absolutely, it's got to be Valentine's Day.

Speaker 15 (19:00):
You gotta celebrate on the day.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
You gotta wear red the whole thing.

Speaker 14 (19:04):
So how am I going to compromise watching the super
Bowl and taking her out?

Speaker 15 (19:09):
I'm going for the party.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Go to the super Bowl party where that red that
Techi red tuxedo you have to with a cover of mud.
I don't know, no, you know, if anyone who's that
serious about Valentine's Day?

Speaker 10 (19:22):
Yeah, yeah, come on.

Speaker 13 (19:24):
And to be honest, it's so much cheaper to go
out the day before the day after, do you know
what I mean? Like everything is raided, the prices are
all raised on Valentine's.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Can't you just get that little heart shaped Bronx candy
box and call it a day? That's more than I deserve.
I love that.

Speaker 13 (19:38):
And if your team is in the super Bowl, like
it's your team this year, your other half has to understand.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
Yeah, okay, we're wasting so much time on this. If
you're if it's true though, if your marriage is so
fragile that Valentine's Day screw ups are gonna ruin it?

Speaker 10 (19:54):
Yeah right, yeah, egg shells walking on eggshells.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
You have a game going on.

Speaker 10 (20:00):
I do have a game. I have a connections today.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
Oh you do?

Speaker 10 (20:02):
I do? Remember what number ninety?

Speaker 1 (20:05):
I believe, good god, you've done a lot of these.
This is what Gandhi does in the back room.

Speaker 10 (20:11):
I'll give me kind of thing.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Scares of connections number ninety there is right.

Speaker 10 (20:14):
There, so the only one on the page.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
These four pieces of sound have something in common. We
actually figured out the last one easily. He did, Scary didn't,
but we did.

Speaker 10 (20:24):
Yes everybody else.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Okay, here's number ninety. Let's see how easy this is.
Four pieces of sound have something in common.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
It might see crazy say from out to Zoo.

Speaker 7 (20:35):
The first fight club is you do not talk about

Speaker 10 (20:45):
Got it anyone?

Speaker 11 (20:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (20:46):
I got nothing, no idea? I play it again?

Speaker 13 (20:49):
Okay, okay, it might see crazy say from out to zoo.

Speaker 7 (20:57):
The first fight club is talk about bike club?

Speaker 3 (21:01):
Yeah, God down Down Now?

Speaker 1 (21:03):

at eight diamond, Diamond, they're calling you. Can you pay attention?

(21:25):
They're calling you? Okay, okay, hell call Diamond now at
eight hundred two four to two zero one hundred.

Speaker 18 (21:32):

Speaker 1 (22:09):
You want half of this, you better take it now
because I'm not to make fun of it. Do you
have a knife, I'm gonna cut it in And.

Speaker 13 (22:15):
You want to bring him a sandwich that you don't
even like it?

Speaker 17 (22:18):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (22:20):
Square eggs, Okay, let's talk about this. I'm trying to
figure out how they make these eggs.

Speaker 15 (22:26):
It's in the shade of SpongeBob square fist.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
It really is.

Speaker 10 (22:31):
Like perfect corners.

Speaker 16 (22:32):
Now, what if they cooked it in like a square
like contraption.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
They can't. That is an easy way to do that,
by the way, here enjoyed. But the egg is perfectly square.

Speaker 10 (22:46):
A slight slight under undercurrent of rubber.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yeah, yeah, after taste, of course, it's an egg. What
do you mean. I don't think that's an egg.

Speaker 8 (22:56):
I think it might be a fake egg.

Speaker 15 (22:57):
I've been seen videos on TikTok on how they make
it look like that.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's it's not good. It's all chemicals.
And I'm not saying that that's what this is. You know,
we know the name of this establishment. I bet they
have the nutrition on written on the website. I don't
want to say the name of it.

Speaker 10 (23:12):
There are a sassy group of people over there too,
By the way, they'll yell at you if you ask
a question.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Are you serious? Yeahs old, Well okay, well it's cold
and fake. Okay, Well, don't you paid for it? Wait,
it was like seven it was like seven bucks. Out
of money. Well, now say you bought and I'm going
to pay you seven bucks. But now that you took,
have only owe you three fifty for sure. You know

(23:38):
I told you, I've made the big announcement. I'm out
of money. Right, you're good, go in your pockets right now. No, No,
I'm out of No. You know, generally, I believe you.

Speaker 10 (23:50):
I believe you.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
I'm out of money. You can't be out of money.

Speaker 8 (23:53):
I told you you were out of money.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
My my accountant guy, his money guy. He called me said,
you're out of money.

Speaker 10 (24:00):
He's got some stern warnings.

Speaker 8 (24:01):
What the hell have you been?

Speaker 3 (24:03):
But I don't know.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
It's just gone. It doesn't matter. Okay, Okay. Their signature
breakfast sandwich, a fluffy baked egg, sharp white cheddar and
zesty fresno chili relish on toasted rustic salur doo. That
is what this could have been.

Speaker 10 (24:21):
Yeah, that's really just rubber.

Speaker 14 (24:23):
According to Chat, this establishment uses real eggs.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
It's real eggs, but they just overcooked them a little bit. Oh,
scary is into him now, Okay, back to my lack
of money. Just out, don't ask for money.

Speaker 8 (24:36):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
The other day, this this kid try to hand me
a little daisy in the airport, said can you please
give us some money for art? And no, I'm out
of money, kid, yet I took the flour and walked away.
You robbed the kid's Do you remember the Moonies?

Speaker 10 (24:53):
I learned about that the other day Moon Sunny Moon Moon.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Yeah, like the Moonies were they would they were an organization. Uh,
it was cult, but they all, you know, worship Reverend
Moon or whatever. They followed him and so, but they
were in the airports, they'd always hand you like at
a little rose, and they expect some money, but they
always you don't have their And they were the sweetest,

(25:19):
nicest people. But you know, if you're in a hurry
to catch your flight, did you ever see airplane? They
beat him up, which is not good. You shouldn't beat
up a mooney anyway.

Speaker 8 (25:29):
Don't they still around?

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Well? As Curtis sliwa oh.

Speaker 10 (25:32):
Curtis has a lot to say about them. Apparently the
last wedding, according to him, I don't know if this
is true. Set it up though we I'm doing a
little podcast with Curtis every now and then, and he
was complaining about Taylor Swift's wedding at Madison Square Garden
and said the last time people were married there was
this mass wedding of the Moonies too Sunung Moon. I guess,

(25:52):
I don't know. There were like eight hundred people that
married this dude.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
That was the last time they closed down the garden
Minsus's Square Garden for a wedding eighteen seventies probably.

Speaker 13 (26:01):
Okay, uh yeah, around there we eight hundred people married
one person.

Speaker 10 (26:06):
I don't know if they've married one guy, or they
married each other of something.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
Hold on, we're talking about Mooney weddings, We're talking about
square eggs and the fact I'm out of money all
at the same time.

Speaker 10 (26:16):
It all goes together.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
They really don't, but they do. We find a way
to weave them together.

Speaker 10 (26:22):
Yeah, expert storytelling.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
All right, Hey, can we get back to the connections.
These four pieces of sound have something in common? According
to Diamond, this was a no brainer. Is that what
you said, Diamond? Yep, everyone got it.

Speaker 8 (26:38):
Everyone.

Speaker 17 (26:38):
Wow, there are at least four people on hold who
have the same answer.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Okay, pick, let's go to Kia. Hi kiya Hi.

Speaker 19 (26:48):
You guys are amazing, Like every morning you make everybody's day.
You guys really are the best. And Diamond just the
nicest person ever.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
Well, she has you totally fooled. Wow, this conversation we're
having Kia before we get to this connections, we're talking
about the fact that I'm out of money, We're talking
about the Moonies getting married at Madison Square Garden, and
we're talking about square eggs.

Speaker 19 (27:12):
Can I talk about the Moonies? My mom used to
scare me all the time. They were on the corner
of our highway selling the single roses, and she would say,
if you got taken by the Moonies, there are cults,
and I don't have enough money to get you back.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
By the way, I hope we're not offending any Moonies visit.
So now I don't think I think they called themselves
the Moonies.

Speaker 13 (27:35):
The weddings, it says this wedding happened in eighty two
on July first, two, seventy five couples from over seventy
countries were married simultaneously by Reverend Sun Young Moon.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
There you go, yeah at the garden, but you were
never taken by the Moonies. Where are you a Kia?
So all you're all.

Speaker 19 (27:51):
Good, We're all good.

Speaker 10 (27:53):
Did the motives take people or was it like a
voluntary joining up.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
I don't remember anyone being.

Speaker 19 (28:00):
Well, they're very like, we don't know cult.

Speaker 16 (28:05):
Leaders are yeah, okay about that. It wasn't a kidnapping situation.
It was that once you're in, you can't get out.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
Like yeah, once you're what you're in, you didn't want
to get out because your brain told you to stay right, Okay.
They made you repeat things over and over and then
they've watched your brain. Okay, yea I have a I
just I just want. I'm wondering if were you offending
anyone here.

Speaker 10 (28:26):
And probably somebody I had to look up if Mooney's
was a slur, because I don't trust Curtiss, it's not.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
They said, okay, okay, we're going okay. So, Kia, you
were never taken by the moony, so your mother never
had to give you money. But had you been with
me and they took you, I have no money to
give you because I'm out of money. But I got
a square egg for your nourishment.

Speaker 19 (28:47):
Oh oh jeez. I don't think any of this is true.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
It's so true. All right, here we go. These are
this is connections number ninety. These four pieces of sound
of sound have something in common. My crazy from.

Speaker 7 (29:05):
The club is you do not talk about fight club?

Speaker 3 (29:09):
Yeah? God, down, down down?

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Oh okay, what is your answer? What are those four
pieces of sound having common? Kia?

Speaker 19 (29:20):
I think that they were all at the World Cup.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Explain that to me.

Speaker 10 (29:28):
So all of those people are characters. They attended the
World Cup final and they got a little attention while
they were there. So I figured we're still on a
World Cup high why not just highlight that?

Speaker 1 (29:37):
Okay, So Elmo was there.

Speaker 8 (29:39):
Elmo Almo is always there.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
Oh god, yere Farrell was there.

Speaker 10 (29:45):
Yes, Beyonce was there, and Brad Pitt was there.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
Okay, there you go. What are you for, Frank Kia,
she's one of many who got it right. I have
a half of breakfast sandwich with a square No, we've
got the Alvis Strand in the Morning show, Hoodie. It's
on the way thanks to hackingtack Meridian Health. Good going there, Kia. Congratulations.
What are you doing today? I hope it's more fun
than what we're doing. What are you doing?

Speaker 19 (30:06):
Well, I'm doing what you're doing.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
I'm going to work.

Speaker 19 (30:08):
I'm very excited about it.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
We'll have a great day at work. Tell everyone about
that square egg sandwich. It's on the way to your
household on here. You know that was a great great connections.
But you said, because it's so easy, you're going.

Speaker 10 (30:19):
To do what I think I have to make it
more difficult again. The last two were just like easy peasy,
and it's it's tough because if it's two eas and
people are like, mah, too easy, I can't believe it.
If it's too difficult, then it's like man, that was
too hard. So you have to find that middle lane.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Okay, gotta be like the porridge. Yes, it's gonna be
just right, very goldilocks, very good point around here. Yeah. Hey,
By the way, someone texted in saying, hey, so you
attacked Argentinians yesterday. Today you're attacking the Moonies.

Speaker 13 (30:44):
It's gonna say something about Nate having two days in
a row.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Who's it going to be tomorrow? By the way, we
did not attack Argentinians yesterday, No, we didn't.

Speaker 10 (30:53):
So we attack the Moonies today or we just say
they were a cult.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
No one's attacking. Okay, no one's attacking, has very big opinion.
No one's attacking. No one's attacking. We're good. We're good,
We're good. They wouldn't know who we're attacking tomorrow.

Speaker 10 (31:07):
Oh, I actually wanted to think about that.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
Eight times equal opportunity offenders. Let's do it. We do
have a thousand dollars free money phone taple the way,
See something good is going to happen on our show today.
Give me about twenty five minutes, I'll give you the money.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
That's weird Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
Okay, I would say, okay, hold on hello, using a microphone. One,
I want never eat peanut butter right before you have
to talk on a microphone. So you know, I decided
not to eat the squared egg sandwich. So Gandhi says, hey,

(31:52):
I have a little peanut butter sandwich. I'll love it.
Here's here, says Okay, I'll have a quarter. I still
can't talk. It's a.

Speaker 10 (32:01):
Drink some of your water. You should be okay, yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Okay, one on one, you can do this. I went
to the dermatologists today. I'm using this as a public
service announcement. Everyone needs to go to the dermatologist because
skin damage, skin cancer, it's all there. And you know,
the sunshine is look, sunshine is great, Vitamin D wonderful,
A little bit color in your skin fabulous. But if

(32:24):
your fair skin like me and maybe Danielle a little bit,
you can keep an eye on these things.

Speaker 13 (32:30):
I had cancer and you, you guys saw and the
stitches were taken off my face here in the studio, Yeah,
by doctor Blaine. So you need to be careful because
I was lucky because it thankfully wasn't the really bad one.

Speaker 8 (32:43):
But anyone is not good.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Went to see the doctor yesterday, love her and she
she used this acid to kind of, you know, burn
these things off my these barnacles off my head. Like
it was like mullusks.

Speaker 4 (32:57):
The use.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Ris like electrocottery pen for mine. I've had that before too, Zapulo.
This was acid. She puts it on and you're sitting
there like I don't and all of a sudden, Oh
my gosh, you can you can hear it like it's
like I didn't see smoke, but she she zapped, Well,
acid did like eight spots on my on my head.

Speaker 8 (33:23):
Why did he do that?

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Because it's precancerous. Oh, it could be anyway, it could
turn into something that my brother just had a huge
part of his face removed, I mean with a big
like lightning scar. Yeah, and you gotta be careful. This
son thing is a very very very serious thing. And
even if you're brown, Gandhi was saying.

Speaker 10 (33:43):
Yes, please absolutely, brown skin people get skin cancer too.
We do need a little more vitamin D and sunshine.
But if you see a mole that is changing it
a little different, you have to pay attention to it.
My ex boyfriend, half black, half Lebanese, he had a
mole and actually said to me, nah, this doesn't happen
to our color doesn't happened, went and got it checked out,
and it was.

Speaker 13 (34:03):
I met this black man in CVS the other day, right,
and he says to me, we're looking at sunscreen, and
he says, hey, look what. He goes, I'm not usually
into the sunscreen. I don't know what I'm doing. He's like,
could you help me out? And I said yeah, And
then he looked at me and he goes, because I
feel like my skin is starting to burn.

Speaker 4 (34:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (34:18):
So I was helping him out with the sunscreen and
giving him my recommendations.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
Good for you, Danielle.

Speaker 8 (34:23):
I was helping people out.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
You're you're an air talent and a sunscreen consultant.

Speaker 8 (34:28):
Yeah, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 10 (34:30):
I will say I learned a lot about burning. I
didn't know certain things could happen. I didn't know people
could burn their scalp on the pot. Ohy cow, Well.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
You know I have a little balgepot on the back
of my head. She she zaps some stuff up there too.

Speaker 10 (34:42):
Our girl, Abby or digital girl. She just burnt her
lips on vacation. She looked like she got filler for days.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Not crazy. So please please check out your go to
your dermatologist. Yes, and I'm lucky. I have the best
in the world. She's fantastic. I got a little botox
while I was there too, which is too soon. Look surprised.
It takes it takes a while.

Speaker 10 (35:03):
How long does it take for it to work.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
It's like a week at least, you know. You don't
know how boat. I've never had botox. I don't know
how to watulism and a needle. It's just the best.

Speaker 8 (35:12):
I love it. Doctor Blaine does my forehead and it's
so loss.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
Stop staring at my forehead. I'm really trying to see
where you won't see it yet.

Speaker 13 (35:18):
No, first of all, it he just got it. It's
gonna take maybe up to a week for it to settle.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
It takes time.

Speaker 10 (35:24):
Okay, keep poisoning.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
They keep in mind I have not been using it
a lot, so therefore I have lines that are not
going to go away. So but anyway, it'll Botox is.

Speaker 13 (35:33):
Used for a lot of great things, like if you're
sweating under your armpits a lot.

Speaker 8 (35:37):
It can help with that.

Speaker 13 (35:38):
It helps with migraines, and you can get your insurance to.

Speaker 8 (35:42):
Pay for it. If you've tried everything for your migraines.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
Really, yeah, the amount of money any.

Speaker 13 (35:47):
And then yeah, I don't know if you don't get
the migraines like I get. But that's something they told
me that I should try, because yeah.

Speaker 10 (35:53):
Did you guys read that botox is changing the way
people are dating and it's making it more difficult how
because one of the biggest cues on first dates are
facial expressions and whether you're interested or someone even little
movements show like you just did to me, show I'm
listening to you, or I like this, I don't like this.
But when you get a lot of botox, your face
is just frozen and someone can't read you. So they

(36:15):
think you might not like them when you might like them.
And they're saying it's making dating first dates.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
But it's like that bitchy resting face thing.

Speaker 13 (36:21):
Yeah, let's not get that much where you can't move
your We know those people, though, do we all know
those people?

Speaker 10 (36:27):
We just frozen.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
We were hanging out at Walker's for a few minutes yesterday,
and uh, there's someone who works there who looks just
like someone else we know. I mean, so I wanted
to I was going to send a picture to you guys,
but I don't. I'm not going to take a pic.
I feel so creepy taking a photo of someone like,
you know, there in.

Speaker 10 (36:46):
The room, okay without them knowing.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
Yeah, so here's Alex. I could do it. I'll get
a picture over. Sorry that picture? So, so what are
you doing? And there were people behind us. They could
see through his screen what he was doing. I mean,
you put your phone down, but I promise you it
was eerie. How much this person is doppelgangering, if there's
such a word, this person we know. Do you ever

(37:10):
see people like that? You have to do a triple yeah,
they double take a triple tap.

Speaker 8 (37:14):
Yes, I saw scary driving a car in the city
the other day.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
Wasn't scary, no, because they probably because that driver was
driving politely.

Speaker 14 (37:22):
There's been a restaurant owner in Hoboken for the longest
time who looks exactly like me, and a lot of
people who see me in Hoboken say hey, you just
served me at that restaurant the other day. They think
I'm him, and he's me, this guy Vince, and he's
he's a great guy. We've met before, and he does
look like me.

Speaker 1 (37:39):
See, it's one thing if everyone else says they look
like you. But if you think they look like anyway.
Speaking of Alex, we sat in on Gandhi's Sauce on
the Side podcast yesterday. Diamond was there, incredible, and Alex
had to come up and meet me before we went
to the dermatologist. So he sat down. Am I married

(37:59):
to a tornado?

Speaker 10 (38:00):
You too are a tornado? You're a tornado as well?

Speaker 3 (38:05):
I'm not.

Speaker 10 (38:07):
That's a great example.

Speaker 17 (38:08):
I'm not.

Speaker 16 (38:09):
I thought he made you mad yesterday he jumped out
of a bush and scared the hell out of you.

Speaker 8 (38:14):
It keeps it exciting, doesn't it.

Speaker 4 (38:15):
It does.

Speaker 10 (38:16):
You are married to a tornado. Okay, so you are
also a tornado, and the two of you together a
pair of dueling tornadoes, was incredible.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
So you can't really talk about what we talked about
because it comes out tomorrow.

Speaker 6 (38:28):
We good.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
That's okay, okay, go ahead, okay.

Speaker 10 (38:31):
So, first of all, we were talking about sharing locations
because Alex sent Elvis his Uber ride and I said, oh,
you don't just have his location. He has to say
you like. He said, no, we don't share locations. So
it got into this whole thing about how Alex shares
his location with like twenty people who are friends, but
they don't share with each other. Yeah, right, Danielle's face.

Speaker 8 (38:50):
That's a little interesting.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
No, he shares with a lot of people but doesn't
share with me.

Speaker 8 (38:54):
That doesn't make sense. You should be the first person
he shares with.

Speaker 1 (38:57):
And then and.

Speaker 10 (38:58):
Then we started talking about botox and filler and laser beams,
and I found out that Alex has a laser beam
as a laser beam as a weapon. He owns a
laser beam that he can start fires and like rooms
across the hallway.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
It's like, yeah, hold, I got I got I Do
you even buy that thing? Well? Ask him? He's right here, Hi,
Alex Amazon, Hi, good morning, good morning. So we're talking
about the podcast we did with Gandhi and Diamond yesterday.
It's gonna it's it's going to be released tomorrow. Yes, okay, okay,
no problem. So why did you buy this laser beam thing?

(39:36):
What did you hear about?

Speaker 11 (39:37):
Because I saw it online and I thought it was fun.

Speaker 8 (39:39):
Well where did you get it? Amaz was it a
pop up or Amazon? Where'd you get No.

Speaker 11 (39:43):
It's from China and I got it on eBay.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
Okay, tell everyone what it does. Listen to this go.

Speaker 11 (39:51):
So it's a little it's a little contraption. You charge
it and then you turned it on and you push
a button and like twenty feet away you could set
up and on fire.

Speaker 6 (40:01):
Like, why does anyone need that?

Speaker 8 (40:02):
Maybe a boy scout could use that.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
I mean, if you want to light a candle across
the room, their life again.

Speaker 6 (40:08):
You know what he said?

Speaker 10 (40:09):
He wants to do with it though, which was the
best part was a burn people in the back of
the knees.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
Yes, Alex, what do you mean you want to burn
people on the back of their legs?

Speaker 11 (40:19):
Well, if I don't like somebody and they walking by,
I could just zap them.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
Don't do that.

Speaker 8 (40:23):
You wait a minute, have you used it yet?

Speaker 11 (40:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (40:29):
Tell them what you did? Tell them what I am.

Speaker 11 (40:31):
One time I didn't hold it properly and I pushed
the button and I shot myself and burned myself.

Speaker 8 (40:39):
How much does something like this cost?

Speaker 7 (40:42):
Uh?

Speaker 11 (40:42):
Well, I got the cheap model that's like three hundred bucks.
But you could get one that's like one thousand dollars
that could laser through metal.

Speaker 10 (40:49):
Oh my zero.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
And you don't need that, Alex, No, No, you don't
need any of these things. No, one needs them. I
don't want people to know that they can walk around
with the laser ands are burning people twenty twenty feet away.

Speaker 8 (41:01):
Not good, it's wild.

Speaker 10 (41:02):
But the two of you. I had a ball with
you guys, and there was a lot of it's a
lot of fun stuff. You should listen tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
Speaking of having a ball, Alex was there. Yes, Alex,
he only just has one. Okay, what we're gonna say?
Was gonna say something?

Speaker 7 (41:17):
Oh?

Speaker 10 (41:17):
No, I just it's a good it's a good episode.
You guys entertained, Alex.

Speaker 11 (41:21):
I'm sitting here, I'm sitting here now having coffee, and
Magoo is playing with it right now.

Speaker 4 (41:25):
God, nosers playing with it.

Speaker 1 (41:33):
You're sitting around at work shooting a laser around the breaker.
What's that name? Well, you know he brought up the ball.
You know he had one removed?

Speaker 4 (41:43):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (41:44):
Uh, I can't remember, Alex. Do you have a prosthetic
in there?

Speaker 7 (41:49):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Okay?

Speaker 8 (41:50):
Is it a newdicule?

Speaker 11 (41:54):
You can't tell the difference that it's both the same size,
and you know, does.

Speaker 8 (41:58):
It feel the same as the other one?

Speaker 1 (42:00):
Chewy like Calamar nice?

Speaker 10 (42:03):
I like that you've tried.

Speaker 13 (42:04):
No, Seriously, can I if I feel both then well
I know one is not the right one.

Speaker 11 (42:10):
Yes, yes, you could tell me no, I have other questions.

Speaker 1 (42:15):
Is it time to ask a man with one ball?
I would love to hold. I mean, if Alex is okay,
well let me get to music. Ready. We got to
produce this. And by the way, the podcast with Alex
and the Laser beam that catches things on fire is
tomorrow at least on sauce on the side it is
thank you. All right, it's now time for ask a

(42:36):
guy with one ball. I think I can ask this question.

Speaker 9 (42:41):
So pre ball removal and post ball removal, do you
notice less quantity of whatever comes out?

Speaker 11 (42:52):
I think it's more who.

Speaker 8 (42:55):
Oh, Nate wants the surgery?

Speaker 1 (42:57):
Now you would give up ball so you could have more?

Speaker 6 (43:02):
Why just because.

Speaker 1 (43:05):
You're trying to fill up a swimming pool or something?

Speaker 11 (43:07):
Wouldn't?

Speaker 3 (43:08):
Like, my god, this is insane.

Speaker 8 (43:10):
I mean I kind of feel like you're a superhero.

Speaker 13 (43:12):
You've got one ball, more stuff, and you've got that
thing that's burning people's legs.

Speaker 8 (43:19):
You're like super Alex.

Speaker 1 (43:21):
You really are a man of power. Ask a man
with one ball, go ahead, Gandhi.

Speaker 10 (43:25):
So it could be I guess for men with both
balls as well. Do you guys have a favorite a
favorite ball? No, it's all the same.

Speaker 1 (43:34):
Yeah, I got another one.

Speaker 10 (43:35):
Like one doesn't hang lower than the other, But does
that make it your favorite favorite? Is one bigger than
the other?

Speaker 3 (43:41):
Usually?

Speaker 8 (43:42):
Are they always the same like boobs? Because we get
have one boo big.

Speaker 11 (43:48):
They were both the same, but one did hang lower
than the other.

Speaker 1 (43:52):
It's very much. It's very typical. They're very they're not symmetrical. Okay, yes,
I have another one.

Speaker 9 (43:58):
So if you get it in the balls, does it
hurt less than it did before?

Speaker 4 (44:04):
Well, I haven't gotten kicked in the ball.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
Let's try that out.

Speaker 10 (44:07):
Bring the laser.

Speaker 1 (44:08):
Shoot it with a laser.

Speaker 8 (44:09):
Maybe one you can't feel and the other you can't.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
I'm wondering if there's any nerve endings.

Speaker 4 (44:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (44:14):
You're scary.

Speaker 15 (44:15):
Is the fake one hollow? And does it weigh more
than the other one? Can you feel the difference?

Speaker 1 (44:20):
Have you put them on a scale to wave?

Speaker 11 (44:25):
Yeah, the prosthetic one that it's.

Speaker 1 (44:29):
More firm. Well, it's not a hollow though, No, no, no, no,
it's not.

Speaker 3 (44:34):
Hollow like a balnut.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
No, it's it's it's it's.

Speaker 4 (44:37):
Like against the wall, this rubber or.

Speaker 10 (44:39):
Something like that, like silicone like a boob again?

Speaker 3 (44:42):
Or no?

Speaker 10 (44:43):
Yeah, yeah so it could it rupture?

Speaker 1 (44:45):
No, it's not silicone. Does it have a named? Have
you named it? Is this like rapid fire? Do you
give it a name? Okay, a name?

Speaker 4 (44:55):
Yeah, you should.

Speaker 1 (44:56):
Is it attached to anything or just like fling around
in there? Balls? It's gotta be attached to something. It's
got to be.

Speaker 10 (45:07):
Isn't as hard as a pool ball?

Speaker 4 (45:09):
No?

Speaker 10 (45:09):
No, it says they're made of silicone rubber and filled
with either sterile saline solution or solid silicone jel.

Speaker 1 (45:15):
So like a booby could it could burn?

Speaker 10 (45:18):
It should rupture?

Speaker 3 (45:19):
Good?

Speaker 10 (45:19):
Be careful easy.

Speaker 8 (45:21):
I have a question for people who have two balls.

Speaker 1 (45:24):
Okay, my question.

Speaker 13 (45:27):
I know I have boys. I should probably know this,
But does your ball size depend on your other side?
Like if you have a smaller one, so you're gonna
have a smaller you know.

Speaker 8 (45:36):
What has big ball?

Speaker 4 (45:37):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (45:37):
Oh my, that's not good. I've seen something dragging along.

Speaker 1 (45:42):
Send you a video. We're changing the name of the
segment to ask the uni baller.

Speaker 6 (45:52):
This is fun.

Speaker 10 (45:52):
I like this.

Speaker 1 (45:53):
We're gonna let you go. Jesus gone very well. You're
laughing in man who had cancer. I hope you're. When
you go through something like this, you gotta have a
sense of years. Hey, so, uh do you and your
ball have a great day now, don't play with my lads.

Speaker 1 (47:07):

Speaker 8 (47:20):

Speaker 5 (47:22):

Speaker 10 (47:22):
Yeah, I think so?

Speaker 3 (47:24):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 1 (47:26):
He can't say it. He can't say the R. They
are engineered to only say ours when there is no
R and no, don't say are when there is an R.
It's like Florida. It's not a false Florida Florida anyway. Vodker,

you celebrate your twenty first birthday with a phone tap
as we phone tap your mother, our own. Garrett starts
off the call to Shana's mom as the bar owner

birthday party at on Saturday.

Speaker 8 (51:06):

Speaker 12 (51:07):

Speaker 1 (51:23):

Speaker 12 (51:26):
That's when we line her up on the bar and
then the patrons at the bar take shots off of
her stomach.

Speaker 20 (51:32):
I'm just shocked, but I will definitely give her this message.

Speaker 12 (51:36):
And finally her weenie cake will be ready to go
by Saturday night. This is costing close to about two grand.

the bar and everyone pays drinks from your belly. And Okay,

(52:27):
I am so totally upset because I don't know what's
upsetting me more the fact that it's costing two thousand
dollars or that you're going to have all this done
to you. It's I don't know you anymore. I really
I have to say, I have to hang up on
sel upsets. It's a business. Uh nervous breakdown here. And

(52:48):

Speaker 20 (52:57):
Well, he's calling to confirm that all the need to
get done. I don't know whether you're getting two thousand
ols to have this plane, because I'm sure as hell
don't have it.

Speaker 21 (53:06):
A lot of people are putting their effort inces Also,
it's not just me.

Speaker 20 (53:09):
Listen, Shana, I do not want to talk to you
right now. I am so pistant angry at you right
now that this is gonna end up being like the
same like your girlfriend who ended up having that was
just a limo. She had to end up paying for
everything herself. Did you get money up front from everybody?
What for all this to get paid for?

Speaker 11 (53:30):
Well?

Speaker 21 (53:30):
Not, yes, I'm starting no, no, no, no.

Speaker 20 (53:31):
No, Shana, do not tell me, not yet, okay, because
you should have had that money in your pocket Saturday
so you could walk into the game place and give
all the money so that you could have a party
if you want to have a party like that.

Speaker 5 (53:45):
I know you just didn't think.

Speaker 20 (53:47):
Okay, you just didn't think. Again, I spoke to the
guy and he told me that he's gonna give me
the Weini cake for free. That's okay. You know something,
You got to talk to every body on your class
and tell them that they have to come up with
this money tonight.

Speaker 5 (54:05):

Speaker 20 (54:06):
No, no, no, I'm serious, I'm serious.

Speaker 5 (54:09):

to get it. Let's get it out right now. Because
my client is looking at me like that's three dead. Okay,
because you've pushed the envelope. All right, Well, thank you
very much. How much of the the positive you put down?

Speaker 17 (54:28):
Five hundred?

Speaker 20 (54:29):
I'm beyond myself. I'm having a service breakdown.

Speaker 21 (54:33):
Just put the charan you do for your twenty first
birthday relast, missus Miller.

Speaker 1 (54:38):

Speaker 1 (54:53):

Speaker 23 (56:41):
Slash Elvis, Holy potatoes, How we're supposed to do a
show with this?

Speaker 1 (56:52):
This is unbelievable. Yeah, here's the thing about pizza. We're
discussing this a moment ago, and you were gonna find
out why in a second. Here in New York, in
New Jersey, Long Island, it used to be just a
couple of places that were the stars of the show
when it came to pizza, and that was okay, We're
fine with it. Know there was anything else. And then

(57:13):
all of a sudden, these incredible artists started hitting it
up in the kitchen and in these ovens and came
out with different types of dough and god crust and toppings,
the whole thing. And now you have all these unique
superstars in the pizza world here, and they're all fantastic,
and some of them don't have anything in common, but

(57:35):
they're all just great. So I just discovered another one.
Jarrett Seltzer is here, Hi, Jarrett, welcome to the show.
Thanks for having me, well, thanks for being had so Jarrett.
Bagels by Jarrett yep, he's like, well, bagels by Jarrett.
You're talking about pizza. Why don't you walk us through that?

(57:57):
So for years I gave a bagels from home.

Speaker 24 (58:01):
I used to be a director producer, and then I
was editing an animating video content more and I started
making bagels at home and I would give them out
on the Facebook group in town, and the rule was
you had to take a picture of the bagel, you
had to give a review of the bagel, and you
had to pay it forward. Somehow in town, I did
to pay it forward thing because the guys who ran
that Facebook group didn't really like me. So I figured
if we were doing something charitable, they couldn't shut me

(58:22):
down with what I was doing. Okay, so it's a
pretty smart move and it worked, and we gave away
bagels or I gave a bab gave him away for years,
and then fast forward to friends. I used to play
in a band and the singer of the band came up.
We were going to see a concert and I made
some bagels for him. Then his brother came over the
next day and I made bagels for him. He said,
we aren't you doing anything with this?

Speaker 1 (58:40):
So everyone loved your bagels, and the bagels, just like pizza,
people are very very picky about to bagels.

Speaker 24 (58:44):
Yes, it's a serious like you can't mess around with it,
especially when you're opening a bagel shop in a town
where there's been a bagel shop for thirty years town
West Orange. Okay, you know you're taking a chance with it.
So he said, this is a great bagel. Why aren't
you doing anything with it? I said, I don't have
any money. He said, I have money, and he became
my first investor. And so, long story short, I raised
the money that I needed to raise. We had a

(59:05):
six month build out. We opened our shop super successful
right off the bat, and three weeks later the pandemic hit.

Speaker 1 (59:11):
Okay, well, oh yeah, okay, And you know what it
looks like, disaster and sometimes the pandemic was disaster for
many operators, but it was also a blessing and a gift.
It gave you time to do things and make things
happen and learn about yourself and this and that. Yeah,
well it was and you survived.

Speaker 24 (59:29):
Oh the pandemic was honestly great for us because we
were take out, we were new, we were hot, that
we were the hot thing, and no one had anything
to do. So they would wait in their cars for
an hour back then to just to order. But they
had nothing else to do. They were playing on their
phones at home. So why they just play on your
phone the car while you're waiting for some food.

Speaker 1 (59:46):
There you go. So how does that bring us to
pizza today?

Speaker 4 (59:49):
Well?

Speaker 1 (59:49):
Very good. So you started messing around with pizza.

Speaker 24 (59:53):
Yeah, well it actually started with the fried chicken sandwich
that you have. This is amazing, So talk about that
all right. So that's called the lawsuit. That's the slider
version of it. When I was bored because we were
curbside now and making bagels isn't fun. So I made
the fried chicken sandwich for my crew and they're like,
this is awesome. Wh when we put it on the menu,
and I'm like, well, we're a bagel shop And then

(01:00:13):
we're like, but it's COVID rules don't matter anymore, right,
So we put the fried chicken sandwich on the menu
and we had forty people outside an hour before we
open to get it. They never had it, and then
word started spreading about the chicken sandwich. And I was
never a chef, so I said, like, I came from
a band video production. I just happened to open this
place and go for it. I was a good cook.

Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
People came to my house to eat, you know, but
how'd you get to pizza? From chicken sandwiches and bagels
to pizza? So I wanted to start doing I got excited.
So I'm like, well, I make a good pasta. I
make a good this right, and like I just keep
adding all these crazy things to the menu. And then
I was the head chef at that point. So there
I was cooking dinner, making the pastas, you know, doing
the pasta station, and I'm selling a ton of pasta
and I'm dying every single night, and I'm like, I've

(01:00:54):
gotta spread this out. I got to get people to
buy something out. I want them to buy my pasta.

Speaker 24 (01:00:58):
But I can't make a hundred pasta is a night
while other people in the shops lines aren't as busy.
So what if we had pizza to it, maybe people
will get some pizza some pasta, right obviously, what if
we had the Caesar salad maybe that the cold sandwich
line and salad line. I'll get a little bit busier, right,
so like spread it out so that I don't die
all at once.

Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
Okay, he's dying slowly instead. So this cuzza you brought
up today is world class pizza and you just got
the dough right in your in your opinion, Yes and so,
And you're good friends with our friends at Bucky's. Sure,
Am shout out to Dom. It's like we're pizza people.

Speaker 10 (01:01:32):
Yeah, but you guys are friends.

Speaker 1 (01:01:34):
They're all like doing each other. We we we are
you know.

Speaker 24 (01:01:38):
We have a group chat with like twenty different pizza
shop owners and some of the best you know around
and we all just help each other out, right. So
it's like someone's mixer breaks and you're like, hey you
got a mixer guy. You know, someone runs out of
cheese because they had a busy Weekend's like, hey, does
anybody have grande cheese?

Speaker 6 (01:01:51):
I can borrow?

Speaker 24 (01:01:52):
So yeah, no, Dom. You know, Dom was much like me.
He didn't come from that. He was never in food.
So he had come to test out my oven. That's
how I met him, and I was like, dude, you're
the best pizza that's tested out the South.

Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
Maybe it's best not to come from food because you
just want your own. Okay, here I'm looking at some
stuff about about bagels by jar online Google reviews. Are
you ready for this? I know they cannot. Sometimes they're
not very kind. You sorted by by one star, because
that's so much more so, so you're talking about starting
out with bagels. Then here comes a chicken sandwich and
I saw chicken palm out there, yes, And now pizzas. Now,

(01:02:24):
this guy Nicholas says, best doughnut I ever had? What
the hell is going on down the cereal doughnuts?

Speaker 4 (01:02:35):
Doughnuts?

Speaker 17 (01:02:36):
Serious?

Speaker 1 (01:02:36):
Did you bring those? I didn't.

Speaker 10 (01:02:40):
Salad is insane?

Speaker 1 (01:02:41):
Okay, tell them about to say it's salad taste in
CREDI will tell them how much business you do with salad.
So we have our manu literally has like three hundred
plus items on it. Like it's stupid.

Speaker 24 (01:02:53):
That shouldn't make any sense. That's the Lord's Caesar salad,
as we call it exactly right now. The name makes
complete sense to you at this point.

Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
I love it.

Speaker 24 (01:03:00):
And for a menu with over three hundred eightems, that
salad accounts for five percent of our sales every single month.

Speaker 10 (01:03:07):
It's gonna take it home. I'm gonna tell a Scottie
and stuff some in my purse.

Speaker 1 (01:03:10):
Is incredible.

Speaker 15 (01:03:11):
You guys do a pizza out of that too.

Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
We do the Lord Caesar pizza. Okay. I have to
bring us up to current day. This is this is
the reason, the reason Jarrett is here today. You got
a lot of exposure because of World Cup. That is true.
This is true. As a matter of fact, West Orange
is here, Montclair is here, and this is where the Spa,

(01:03:33):
the Spain players are staying right and there in the
Argentinas as well. Argentines were the Short.

Speaker 24 (01:03:38):
Hills Hilton Okay in Norway, right Norway stayed at the
same hotel as Spain.

Speaker 1 (01:03:42):
Yeah, right there, right there, right there, next door. I
used to live. I used to live in Llewellyan Park.
I know the area very well. A haunted house, not good. Interesting,
it's an interesting community. It is, thank you. Anyway. So
you got a call one day from the hotel, you know,
the chef at the hotel, and and he said, or
she said.

Speaker 24 (01:04:00):
What he I had just gotten back from Mexico, was
on the family trip. And he messaged me and he
said Hey, I need to feed Norway pizza tomorrow after
the game.

Speaker 1 (01:04:08):
And I treated the entire country of Norway. Yes, after
the game of.

Speaker 24 (01:04:13):
Met Life, and I had, like I guess I had
like vacation brain going on. I was just like, oh, okay,
like fine, and he's like, can you deliver the I'm like, well,
you know, we don't do our own delivery. You gotta
order online and then you know deliver, which I literally
set the door dasher with Dorway's pizzas. I was I
just wasn't paying attention. And then I was watching the
Doorway games like why did I not offer the deliver
these pizzas myself?

Speaker 1 (01:04:33):
Like what Norway? They wrote wrote, Well, they got back
really late. That was way past my bed time. Yeah.
When they win, they like to hang out in the stadium.
Yeah okay, so you just a pizza order came in
and it's all World Cup related, yes, And then Spain.

Speaker 24 (01:04:48):
Calls and then Spain calls and the coolest part about
it was, I've been working on my pizza dough for
five months about I wanted to switch it. I wanted
my dough to be better and better and better. And
Sarah today morning we actually took pizza out of the
oven and it was the best the pizza dough had been.
I literally like looked at my pizza guy. I high
five to them, like we nailed it. The pizza recipe

(01:05:08):
is done. We had taken every note, every little thing
we did, the temperature of this, how long we mixed it,
for the speed on the mixer, every little piece to
making the dough. And an hour later we got the
message that Spain wants a pizzas. Okay, so you perfected
your your your dough.

Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
Yes, sorry Norway and Spain called, and then Spain calls,
and then these pizzas are incredible. Did bar pies are
my favorite?

Speaker 4 (01:05:29):
I got you.

Speaker 1 (01:05:29):
And but you have the Sicilian style, you have the
thick one, you have the regular ones, and that the
flavors are insane. Okay, there's always two sides to every story.
Don't you love Google review? I love them. This place
is very overpriced. I should have walked out four dollars
for regular coffee, which wasn't large, twelve dollars for breakfast
sand which had a bagel. This sounds like normal to us.

(01:05:52):
Only three choices of bagels and the everything bagel had
more seeds than bagel. I was passing through, not local,
would never go back, and the Jarrett replied, yes, you
should have walked out. My staff was telling me about
how awful you were. Luckily I wasn't there.

Speaker 24 (01:06:09):
Yeah, he's not in the area anyway.

Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
He's not coming back.

Speaker 3 (01:06:15):
I know exactly.

Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
But you know, we learned this here with people texting us.
The people can just sit out there in the dark
and type whatever they want and we never reply to them.
But sometimes you need to reply and go hey, look butthole. Yeah,
once in a while, you gotta do it. I've toned
it down a little bit from my my younger punk rock.

Speaker 15 (01:06:31):
Three items on your menu and this.

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
By the way, if you're just turning us on, Jarrett
Seltzer's here bagels by Jarrett, of course, and doughnuts by Jarrett,
and chicken sandwiches by Jarrett and salvage by Jarrett. And
it goes on imposta and this pizza is in franking incredible.
So you've been on ten ten wins, you've been on
Channel seven. I mean you've been they're all they're knocking
your doors and just because you've fed a bunch of
hockey players, Uh, soccer player.

Speaker 13 (01:06:57):
Wait, did they send you like a picture of like
lemon yamal eating your pizza?

Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
They didn't.

Speaker 24 (01:07:01):
They sent me one picture of the pizzas being out
for Norway. It was like all I had.

Speaker 1 (01:07:04):
And then it's what every news network ran.

Speaker 10 (01:07:06):
With the same to get any feedback from them at all.

Speaker 24 (01:07:09):
Both times, both times everything was finished. Norway crushed theirs
in twenty minutes. They said, of course, Okay, Norway. They
brought their own food, yes, because they thought American.

Speaker 1 (01:07:19):
They did somewhat, somewhat, not not completely see the news
stories where they brought their own food because they think
we're poisoning them with our food.

Speaker 8 (01:07:26):
Well they and they eat pretty healthy.

Speaker 1 (01:07:28):
Oh yeah, they did bring their own salmon that I
know a lot of uyo s yeah uh text. As
a resident of West Orange who's been following his journeys,
just the bigg beginning of his story, I can attest
to this place being amazing, amazing bagels, amazing pizza. The
chicken salad is to die for. Would you sell a
lot of chicken salam? Yeah?

Speaker 11 (01:07:46):
You do?

Speaker 1 (01:07:47):
You don't. Congratulations on everything, Thank you, oh, Sabina, she
coaches on the phone. Wait where do you Where do
you live in West Orange? Are you in Llewellen Park
as well with the haunted houses? I ain't there yet.
B a lot more pizzas. This is Sabina, she's your neighbor.

Speaker 21 (01:08:00):
Where do you live, Sabina, I live in the Highlands.
It's like townhouses that are behind Eagle Rock and we've
been ordering there since. Jarrett had like the Papa that
like a little bakery that was off of main streets
and he had the stuffed bagles, which were insanely bad
for you as from a health perspective, but they're delicious.

(01:08:23):
I remember this is one thing I should I haven't
had it in a while. But it was called the Lawyer,
but everything its laws.

Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
Why do you call it the lawsuit you got sued
by someone?

Speaker 24 (01:08:33):
No, I called it the McChicken when I used to
make it for my friends and then sorry, I.

Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
Messed that up and I got left. I called it
the mcjarrett's. It was the mcjarrett and I'd get sued,
so we had to. He had Mick on the Jarrett. Yeah,
so Sabina, Sabina is here to stand for you and
say everything you're making this pizza?

Speaker 11 (01:08:53):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:08:53):
What was the one I had, was it caramelized and ricotta?
You had the white round dish pie.

Speaker 24 (01:08:57):
We called it because I used to make the pizzas
and I couldn't a round pie, so we call them roundish.
Now I have great pizza, guys, but I couldn't change
the name, so the round pies are not roundish.

Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
They're round okay, but they're called roundish okay. So good Sabina.
Do you have a favorite pizza over there?

Speaker 17 (01:09:11):
Oh?

Speaker 21 (01:09:12):
Bad, which is really bad because it's the com life
Onion one is very good, but also just a plain
on it. I don't know the names off my off
the top of my head because it's literally click click click.

Speaker 1 (01:09:24):
Here's like a lot of weird, weird names. Ye creative.

Speaker 21 (01:09:27):
Yeah yeah, I'm just like, okay, that has all the
ingredients I want to cool, and there's a lot of
stuff on the menu. So it's just you just have
to know what you want and get out of there,
otherwise you will have like decision fatigue and you will not.

Speaker 1 (01:09:40):
Make any There's something to be said for that, but
it's all great stuff. Have you ever thought about limiting
the menu or would you get too many complaints? I
would get complaint because That's the beauty of us. Is
that like if if dad.

Speaker 24 (01:09:50):
Wants chicken palm right, and mom wants Mom's gluten free
and wants Asian and the kids want a pizza and
somebody like you can get all of it and it's
all homemade, and it's all happens to be really good.

Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
It.

Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
Wow, you know it shouldn't work. It shouldn't work.

Speaker 21 (01:10:04):
So Jared, can I Jared, can I ask you a question?

Speaker 1 (01:10:06):
You may so.

Speaker 21 (01:10:08):
I'm on a sour dough journey right now. I've been
doing pretty good about it, and my kids love my
sour dough. And I had some sour dough pieces and
other places around Jersey and in the city. Are you
planning on your own menu?

Speaker 24 (01:10:21):
No sour dough for me. I'm leaving that to Dom
over at BUCkies. I got enough issues on my body. Yes,
there you go, all right, so beIN. We love you,
Thank you for listening.

Speaker 21 (01:10:31):
Thank you, We love you too, so much.

Speaker 1 (01:10:34):
Thanks guys, have a great day. Tell her when in
West Orange we said it, and welcome to ask a
chef about sour dough. Yeah, sowar dough seemed to be
always for soup. That's the thing. There's room for everyone
to do everything. Any questions for Jared.

Speaker 10 (01:10:46):
Or thoughts, I just want to get more of salad.
I've been waiting for the shot up to salad.

Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
We're loving reading the reply. Your replies on Google reviews
are hilarious. You are Italy, a good yelp you. You
are a saucy, sassy little winch.

Speaker 6 (01:11:03):
Are you tormally assaulting them?

Speaker 1 (01:11:06):
I worked really hard. There's like twenty five people that
rely on me to feed their families, So don't tell
me because I'd make three types of bagels. Somebody left
a one star review and blah blah blah blah. They're
thinking you food is just mediocre.

Speaker 9 (01:11:17):
Your reply was this, not sure what you ordered, but
calling our food mediocre while every other review you leave
is also negative, makes me think the common ingredient here
may not be the restaurant.

Speaker 1 (01:11:31):
That's awesome. Thank you awesome.

Speaker 10 (01:11:35):
We needn't hire him part time to answer our technic.

Speaker 1 (01:11:38):
Oh you would, you would have a field.

Speaker 15 (01:11:40):
You deserve more than a four point four.

Speaker 14 (01:11:42):
People downvoted you, and we got to get those scores
up to a four point eight.

Speaker 1 (01:11:45):
Scores or everything to him, scores to us or nothing.

Speaker 24 (01:11:50):
Well, some people read that Yeah, it's tough. It's an
interesting world, the review world. We did once, actually we Yelp.
I had some of the issues with Yelp, so we
ran a contest that you have had to leave a
one star review for us on Yelp, but you had
to the review had to be amazing, and then you
had to justify why you were leaving the one star.
And I said, I'll give one hundred dollars gift cards

(01:12:10):
whoever writes the best one, and like one hundred.

Speaker 1 (01:12:12):
Something, what was the best one. I'd have to look honestly, right.

Speaker 10 (01:12:15):
You make your own rating.

Speaker 1 (01:12:17):
Yeah, yeah, Yelp with't like the feeling. They didn't like
the feeling of the toilet paper or something like that.
One star.

Speaker 24 (01:12:23):
Everyone loves a one star review. There's so much more
fun to read. So let's take a game out of
it and yell, I mean, that's.

Speaker 10 (01:12:28):
Brilliant those one stars first exactly tell me everything.

Speaker 24 (01:12:31):
Help emailed me that they were going to take away
my access to my own cats.

Speaker 1 (01:12:36):
So Begel's by Jarret Jarrett Seltzer's here in West Orange.
The pizza were loving the story with uh woke up incredible.
Now we met Jarrett years ago nineteen thirty two thousand
and four, we had a contest called Radio Star or
something like that, where local bands could send in their submissions.

(01:12:57):
Jarrett was in a band called Houston and Calls. I
was you played with the bass barely but yes, terrible bass.
I hope you made it into the finals, didn't you?

Speaker 24 (01:13:08):
When you played bass every single day? You can like
fake it till you make it, but I was.

Speaker 1 (01:13:12):
I was by far the worst musician, and so the
name of the song was called Exit Emergency. Yep, do
you remember this song? Of course?

Speaker 4 (01:13:19):
I remember you.

Speaker 1 (01:13:20):
Hear the bass and listen till it sounds like a
band I've heard before. Kill The town Center bass is
really booming in there. I'm like, do you miss those days?

Speaker 11 (01:13:45):
Not?

Speaker 8 (01:13:47):
I think you should play at the restaurant.

Speaker 1 (01:13:49):
I'm telling you, I'm I'm so mad. That's the Beauty Reunited.
A few years ago, I had to have my tab
on stage. I practiced for like a month, and I
still suck. That's okay. Do you know when you started
pizza it wasn't the best. I'm sure now it is
the best.

Speaker 24 (01:14:03):
Well, it took forty years to figure out what I
was actually good at. Oh I do think you guys
were gonna blow us up. I was like, David Brody's
gonna make me famous. This is gonna be amazing. Didn't
didn't work out that way? Your friends your friends with Brody?

Speaker 1 (01:14:15):
Right, I am okay, because because you you have shades
of Brody in you, I can yeah, I mean yeah.
When Brody worked with us, he would stay on these
text messages and he would get so burt, hurt over butt,
hurt over everything people say, and he would always enter
them and he never did say who it was. But
if ever you've been yelled at on our on our

(01:14:37):
text messages, it was Brody.

Speaker 4 (01:14:39):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (01:14:40):
Yeah, he took a liking to our band.

Speaker 24 (01:14:42):
And you know radio was for music was that much
bigger back then, obviously, right, So I was like, this
guy's gonna get me on ze one hundred, like this
is it. We're gonna be the next Blink Lady.

Speaker 1 (01:14:51):
It would just played you again. Yeah, look at that.
Look at that twenty years later, look at that. Look congratulations, Jared,
thank you, And I can't wait to come in. I'm
gonna sit down and look get that three hundred menu
menu item menu. Jeez, but I haven't even tried to
parm yet, and that's you needs to try the parm.

Speaker 24 (01:15:07):
I meant Bertie told me last night that your a
parm guy's brought you apart.

Speaker 8 (01:15:11):
Isn't Bobby Brown's hotel the Georgia.

Speaker 1 (01:15:14):
Yeah, yeah, yeah it's it's a very stately hotel there
in the middle, well classy for me. You're trying to say, yes,
that's what I didn't say that. Look at me. Uh anyway, Uh, congratulations,
thank you? And you know what, and when these stories
pop on you know, local and on the networks and
things like that about those pizza guy in West Orange

(01:15:35):
fed the soccer players, good, you know what. Whatever we
can do to get your name out there. Now you're
with us, that's awesome. I would love for Portnray to
come by some time. Hopefully this put us on his
radar a little bit. We might do it absolutely, but
this pizza is fantas I can't wait to go in
and gobble down on somewhere.

Speaker 24 (01:15:52):
I'll tell you we make. We make all of our
pasta in house. We grind her on Burger Meet for
our burgers like we were were the real deal. We
make most of our condiments are homemade.

Speaker 20 (01:15:59):
Some of them.

Speaker 24 (01:15:59):
You sometimes you need craft ranch like that's fine, but
most of our condiments are even homemade, so we take
it seriously.

Speaker 1 (01:16:05):
Mess around and congratulations on everything. Thank you, I appreciate it.
Jareded of course from bingels by Jared. Thanks for coming
into this. Push the button, scary, push any button. I

chefs from the Food Network in here and have a
great conversation with them, and it's always lovely. When you

it really is fun.

Speaker 5 (01:17:30):

talking about her diarrhea because Garrett has it in sound
and we're gonna listen to Kelly Clarkson have diarrhea? I
think is that what you said? We're listening to kind
of You're close.

Speaker 10 (01:18:01):
All right, you guys.

Speaker 13 (01:18:02):
Remember the movie Jennifer's Body back in the day. Megan
Fox was in it, So when it came out in
the movie theaters.

Speaker 8 (01:18:09):
It bombed, absolutely bombed.

Speaker 13 (01:18:11):
But then it went on to be a cult classic
and people are still loving it to this day.

Speaker 8 (01:18:16):
It's called Jennifer's.

Speaker 13 (01:18:18):
Body came out in two thousand and nine, and it
looks like a sequel to the movie is finally on
the way. Yesday, even Gody like it. So, yeah, like
a bad horror film, yes, actually eats people. Seyfried was
in it. Yeah, it's Megan Fox was a sexy man

(01:18:38):
eating she demon.

Speaker 1 (01:18:39):
Yeah, absolutely, high school student who kills her male classmates
and devours their flesh in order to survive. Yes, while
her bookworm best friend must find a way to end
her killing spree. I get it.

Speaker 13 (01:18:50):
There you go, So we may be getting, like I said,
a sequel to it, And like I said, did not
do well in the box office, but cult classic right.

Speaker 1 (01:18:58):
Now, so we office? But what No, it didn't do.

Speaker 13 (01:19:03):
Well in the box office, but it's a cold classic.
I emphasized the butt.

Speaker 1 (01:19:08):
I heard in the box office.

Speaker 13 (01:19:11):
But okay, so I'm singing that played out after the
World Cup final is now being investigated by FIFA. You
guys saw the clash between Spain and Argentina after the final.
Well yesterday FIFA officials confirmed that yes, indeed, an investigation
is underway. Disciplinary action may have to happen, So we'll
see what happens.

Speaker 8 (01:19:30):
I'm it got very nasty, and.

Speaker 13 (01:19:32):
Speaking of FIFA, a lot of the players, a lot
of the coaches didn't like what was going on during
some of the matches, you know, they didn't like what
some of the officials were saying and doing, maybe the
England coach, the Switzerland defender, Emmanuel Egypt coach.

Speaker 8 (01:19:48):
Some others.

Speaker 13 (01:19:49):
So now FIFA is looking into that because they're a
little piss off that people were being a little disrespectful
to maybe like you know.

Speaker 8 (01:19:57):
The officials and stuff.

Speaker 13 (01:19:59):
So that's been investigated as well. I don't know what
they're gonna do if they find anything, but at this point,
it's over right, the pain lingers, What the hell are
they gonna do at this point. Ah, we were talking
about this earlier and Jelly Roll and Bunny, you guys
know that they are done and they actually got a divorce,
but it was amicable and they decided on everything, and
one of the big things was not talking about each

(01:20:19):
other in public. Don't trash each other in public, only
say good things. Well, apparently they needed to include their
eighteen year old daughter and what they wrote because Bailey
threatened to spill the tea. Bailey said, y'all have no
idea what happened. Wait till y'all find out. I promise y'all,
the internet is about to crumble the day I open
my mouth. Now, we think she's defending jelly roll in

(01:20:41):
this from a couple of other things.

Speaker 1 (01:20:42):
That she said.

Speaker 8 (01:20:43):
Yeah, so I don't know, but she says it's gonna
stun fans.

Speaker 4 (01:20:47):
So yes, she's on her dad's side for sure.

Speaker 8 (01:20:49):
I don't know if she's gonna actually say everything.

Speaker 1 (01:20:51):
Or could probably be best if she didn't say anything,
probably correct, let them kind of, let them kind of
work this.

Speaker 8 (01:20:56):
Out exactly so we'll see serious fury of checks.

Speaker 1 (01:20:59):
Aren't you a little curious?

Speaker 8 (01:21:00):
Of course everything I am, But I don't know.

Speaker 10 (01:21:04):
Okay, I tell me everything.

Speaker 8 (01:21:05):
It gets dirty and nasty, and you know that makes
me feel yucky?

Speaker 17 (01:21:09):
All right?

Speaker 8 (01:21:10):
Serious career of Shaq's Dunkman.

Speaker 13 (01:21:11):
Also America's got Talent, Kitchen Nightmares and the Real Housewives
of London over on Bravo and that's my Daniel reports.

Speaker 1 (01:21:17):
Excellent job, then you know, thank you so much. What
was your favorite thing to eat from?

Speaker 11 (01:21:20):
Uh?

Speaker 8 (01:21:20):
Oh the pizza with the pepperoni on it? Yeah, that
was good.

Speaker 1 (01:21:24):
Yeah, Jarrett's bagel, bagel play great pizza, I don't know.
And donuts h Garrett. Yes, not related to Jarrett, No,
not at all. Let's go what do you have? All right,
let's start with Kelly Clarkson.

Speaker 12 (01:21:35):
So she is just starting her A Vegas residency at
Caesar's Palace, and this is her talking about possibly feeling
that she had diarrhea during her first show.

Speaker 6 (01:21:45):
I don't know what's wronging me. I don't know if
I got that thing. You know that people like eat
letting joy.

Speaker 1 (01:21:52):
But last night during the show, I was like, oh
my god.

Speaker 17 (01:21:56):
And I get back to my room and I have
never been so happy there.

Speaker 1 (01:22:00):
He's not a man in the room. There you go, Kelly.
I love how she just tells you like it is.

Speaker 10 (01:22:09):
Yeah, exactly, what beautiful sounding diarrhea she has?

Speaker 1 (01:22:13):
Sang a melody.

Speaker 12 (01:22:14):
All right, So I'm going to play a clip right
now of a preacher who was doing masks and then
started scrolling on his phone.

Speaker 1 (01:22:22):
Okay, listen to what happened. Phones are very important.

Speaker 4 (01:22:25):
Yes, Lord, have.

Speaker 1 (01:22:26):
Your way, have your way, have your way, have your way,
scrolling while making noise.

Speaker 12 (01:22:44):
I hate him, but you know what it reminded me
of when the radio host at the time, Mike Francessa,
was on the air and he started scrolling on his
phone while he was talking doing sports talk radio.

Speaker 1 (01:22:54):
But he didn't make any noise. I was like, I'm
looking up something.

Speaker 10 (01:22:57):
I did an event with funk Masterflex because who that is?

Speaker 12 (01:23:00):
Right?

Speaker 10 (01:23:00):
Yeah, he started scrolling on the stage with his volume
on while someone else was talking. It was crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:23:06):
Wow, some people's level of I don't give an f
is really high.

Speaker 1 (01:23:13):
Here's here's Mike Francesca or Chessa, what's his name, Francessa.

Speaker 3 (01:23:18):
Yeah, I like whim as a player, I really do.

Speaker 4 (01:23:24):
Let's seem let's come up here.

Speaker 1 (01:23:28):
This is on his show.

Speaker 3 (01:23:31):
You the Way.

Speaker 1 (01:23:35):
Okay.

Speaker 12 (01:23:36):
He goes on for like a minute and a half
doing all that. So Elvis, you came across this just
the other day too. So let's go to n y U.
Back in two thousand and five, there was a singing
competition to raise money for cancer research and students you know,
signed up, and this student turned into a very popular artist.

Speaker 1 (01:23:53):
We all know.

Speaker 22 (01:23:54):
Writer Stephanie Germanada, and she is composed to original pieces
for us, and she's gonna come out and perform them
right now.

Speaker 1 (01:24:05):
So listen up.

Speaker 3 (01:24:06):
Here's the Thing of the Weary.

Speaker 1 (01:24:10):
Two thousand and five.

Speaker 3 (01:24:13):
She's just like the sound of your voice in the morning.

Speaker 1 (01:24:19):
She was great back then, like my world. And here's
her other song too, Fanna take a little electric kiss?

Speaker 6 (01:24:33):
We are general rang twisted.

Speaker 3 (01:24:35):
By a myth.

Speaker 1 (01:24:38):
It's definitely Germanada known as Lady Goggles, exactly excellent. You're
gonna wearing we should break. There's so much to say,
so much to do. I got a song to play.

Speaker 5 (01:24:54):
Oh no, we gotta go.

Speaker 2 (01:24:57):
Elvis Duran in the morning show.

Speaker 1 (01:24:59):
Okay, so I'm sorry behind the scenes up meeting, so
we we didn't tell him to put it in.

Speaker 8 (01:25:06):
No, you said you had to listen to it first.

Speaker 1 (01:25:08):
Well, no, I thought he put it in that I
was gonna listen to it.

Speaker 8 (01:25:10):
No, I think I.

Speaker 13 (01:25:11):
Think yesterday you said to me, oh yeah, listen to
that in the morning and then we'll.

Speaker 10 (01:25:15):
Put it in.

Speaker 1 (01:25:16):
Okay, well, then we'll try to find it. You're wondering
what we're talking about, aren't you not? Can I tell you? Sorry?
A little secret anyway? Don't you hate that when you
hear people saying something and they're like, yeah, is.

Speaker 7 (01:25:30):
It in you?

Speaker 10 (01:25:31):
That's gotta be bad to hear too.

Speaker 8 (01:25:33):
This sounds like the dirtiest conversation I know.

Speaker 6 (01:25:35):
Is it in?

Speaker 4 (01:25:36):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (01:25:36):
Is it not?

Speaker 10 (01:25:37):
Do you put it in first?

Speaker 8 (01:25:38):
And then you I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:25:39):
I thought I told you to put it in.

Speaker 8 (01:25:41):
Tell me what it did.

Speaker 1 (01:25:43):
That's never good. It's been in.

Speaker 13 (01:25:46):
Oh well, sorry about that. We should talk about that.

Speaker 4 (01:25:51):
Maybe you should put it in again.

Speaker 1 (01:25:54):
Is intern Julia here today?

Speaker 2 (01:25:55):
She is?

Speaker 8 (01:25:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:25:56):
Oh? Dare we? Dare we get her in here? The
last time she came in she was very very talkative,
but when the microphone come on, she didn't say anything.

Speaker 10 (01:26:08):
Okay, we need to coach her. She's new.

Speaker 1 (01:26:11):
Can you pull up that HW there you are? There's intern.
Do you like Julie or Julia?

Speaker 6 (01:26:15):
Julie?

Speaker 1 (01:26:16):
Intern Julie? Okay, last time we had you in, you
clammed up and didn't talk.

Speaker 6 (01:26:22):
You got I was nervous.

Speaker 17 (01:26:24):
The song makes me cry. I don't want to cry
my first time on the radar talking.

Speaker 1 (01:26:27):
About a song that made you cry. Okay, where's the stuff?
Garrett gave it to me? So we've learned a lot
about in turn, Julie and I just want to see
if this is any of this is true?

Speaker 10 (01:26:43):
Are we now the people scrolling on our phone during
our show?

Speaker 1 (01:26:45):
Yeah, I'm trying to find that.

Speaker 10 (01:26:46):
Okay, Sorry, I just wondering.

Speaker 1 (01:26:51):
So we found out a lot about all of our
interns are very, very, very unique and fun. And that's
how you got the job here because we just someone
saw something in you that was just shiny and thank you.
So far, well, I can't find it. Just what have it?

Speaker 10 (01:27:06):
I don't have Kart said it Garrett in that room.

Speaker 1 (01:27:10):
No, don't go in that room.

Speaker 8 (01:27:11):
Diamond could bring it in, Diamond, Please, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (01:27:14):
In our group chat?

Speaker 2 (01:27:16):
I don't know.

Speaker 10 (01:27:17):
It wasn't in mine?

Speaker 23 (01:27:17):
He said?

Speaker 7 (01:27:19):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:27:19):
Email?

Speaker 1 (01:27:20):
No one uses email? What year is this.

Speaker 11 (01:27:24):
Here?

Speaker 1 (01:27:26):
I already have it? Okay, Okay, this has been the
worst three minutes in the history of.

Speaker 6 (01:27:31):
This medium, making me look bad.

Speaker 1 (01:27:33):
Elvis, all right, you have a never have I ever? List? Yes,
things that you've never I am shocked. At some of
these things. But then again, you know we're from many
generations apart from each other. I mean, I'm sixty something
in your twenty twenty one, twenty one. You have never
separated your whites from your colors when you do laundry.
Never neither have I.

Speaker 6 (01:27:54):
I think it's crazy.

Speaker 17 (01:27:55):
I mean, occasionally it has gone wrong, but I don't
have time for that.

Speaker 6 (01:28:00):
I just throw it all in and hope for the
back the way.

Speaker 13 (01:28:02):
I accidentally did this the other day, I ruined two
white England jerseys that closed one hundred hours.

Speaker 4 (01:28:09):
We all know that.

Speaker 1 (01:28:11):
You know your white shirts are gonna come out blue
or pink. Yeah, but I'm with you.

Speaker 6 (01:28:15):
I feel like that doesn't really happen to me though.
I just put it on cold and it's fine.

Speaker 1 (01:28:18):
Yeah. See, I don't wash on hot anymore because it's
it's wasting hot, it's energy. You have never ever paid
a cell phone bill? No, that's daddy, Okay.

Speaker 10 (01:28:27):
Daddy, actual daddy. You're like daddy.

Speaker 1 (01:28:30):
Do you have a daddy?

Speaker 6 (01:28:30):
My mother and my father?

Speaker 23 (01:28:31):
Okay, okay, okay, okay, there's intern.

Speaker 1 (01:28:36):
Judia has also told us she's never ever had a cavity.
No good for you, I was in my fifties when
I got my first cavity.

Speaker 6 (01:28:44):
Really lots of candy.

Speaker 1 (01:28:46):
No, just you know, old old.

Speaker 10 (01:28:47):
Teeth that sounded so judgy.

Speaker 1 (01:28:49):
You've never pulled. You've never posted on Twitter or x whatever.

Speaker 17 (01:28:52):
You never I don't know is that that might just
be a me thing?

Speaker 1 (01:28:56):
Or you ever scroll there?

Speaker 10 (01:28:58):

Speaker 8 (01:28:59):
The neat to never there.

Speaker 10 (01:29:00):
There's nothing there for any You've.

Speaker 1 (01:29:01):
Never read any Harry Potter.

Speaker 6 (01:29:03):
I know it's horrible.

Speaker 17 (01:29:04):
I've seen all the movies, which is horrible, but I've
never read it.

Speaker 10 (01:29:09):
The books are better than the movie, That's what I've heard.

Speaker 3 (01:29:12):
But that's okay.

Speaker 1 (01:29:13):
You've never ever sent a postcard. No, that's the thing.
It seems that's the thing from the past, isn't it.

Speaker 6 (01:29:20):
Like have any of you sent postcards?

Speaker 4 (01:29:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:29:22):
Yeah, I mean not for quite some time, so I
would understand why you never have?

Speaker 1 (01:29:26):
Maybe two in my entire life.

Speaker 2 (01:29:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:29:28):
You know what you can do in Disney Lisa did
this for me. In Disney World.

Speaker 13 (01:29:31):
You can write out a postcard and there's a mailbox
and you can mail it to someone from Disney World.

Speaker 4 (01:29:36):
That's nice, and then it's postmarked on.

Speaker 1 (01:29:40):
To Disney have you ever been to Disney?

Speaker 3 (01:29:42):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:29:42):
Okay, okay, Well, don't look at me like that. She's like,
oh my god, I've never ever ever watched Star Wars.

Speaker 6 (01:29:49):
No, that is not my thing.

Speaker 1 (01:29:51):
Don't get mad at me. Not missing money. There are
Star Wars fans out there that were hating it.

Speaker 17 (01:29:57):
Really, I feel like this room is the only people
that would re like that.

Speaker 4 (01:30:00):
Well, I've never I've never seen it either, Earl Star Wars.

Speaker 9 (01:30:04):
You could make an argument that you should watch those movies,
the later Star Wars.

Speaker 1 (01:30:07):
Yeah, you're not missing anything. You've never received a speeding ticket. No,
do you drive?

Speaker 6 (01:30:13):
I do drive. I drive a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:30:14):
That's a part of it.

Speaker 8 (01:30:15):
Good for you.

Speaker 6 (01:30:16):
I just I figure it out.

Speaker 1 (01:30:18):
Do you speed?

Speaker 6 (01:30:20):
No? Sometimes?

Speaker 8 (01:30:21):
Have you ever been pulled over? The talk just not
out of it?

Speaker 6 (01:30:23):
Yes?

Speaker 10 (01:30:24):
Okay, nice?

Speaker 1 (01:30:25):
Oh okay, that's different, all right. Have you ever sewn
a button? Now on something? Okay? Can you sew if
you had to?

Speaker 17 (01:30:34):
I went through a phase in like middle school where
I got a sewing machine and I would sew like
little mini pillows for my dolls.

Speaker 6 (01:30:44):
But I've never done anything.

Speaker 1 (01:30:47):
I love that you've done none of these things.

Speaker 8 (01:30:48):
But you've done that I think you could do the button.

Speaker 10 (01:30:51):
If you could do a muffle pillow.

Speaker 6 (01:30:53):
I feel like I could too. You could do I
could figure it out. I just haven't.

Speaker 1 (01:30:55):
Yeah, Hey, Scotty, Scotty uh intern Julia has never bought stays.
Oh my god, Wow, he's our official mail send things.

Speaker 17 (01:31:07):
I guess I have, but there's always just either stamps
in the drawer like at my house, like I've never
bought the stamps. But also I'll just go to the
UPS store and if.

Speaker 1 (01:31:17):
You ever not mail, I have a bot a stamp
in thirty years, maybe because everything's online.

Speaker 17 (01:31:28):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:31:30):
You've never seen Game.

Speaker 8 (01:31:31):
Of Thrones me neither The Red Wedding.

Speaker 1 (01:31:34):
Okay. You've never eaten breakfast for dinner.

Speaker 17 (01:31:37):
I don't really like breakfast that much with you pancakes.
I would rather like, if I'm getting breakfast, I'd get
like steak and eggs.

Speaker 6 (01:31:44):
So if you have like lunch, about a.

Speaker 8 (01:31:45):
Like a big Belgium waffle.

Speaker 11 (01:31:47):
No. Never.

Speaker 1 (01:31:49):
You've never paid money for music or for a song.

Speaker 17 (01:31:53):
No, Like I missed the phase where you had to
like buy a song, like a singular song on like
Apple Music or whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:32:00):
It's not unusual. You've never successfully made rice this is true.
Some people can't do it. I don't get it rice.

Speaker 17 (01:32:08):
I haven't tried that many times to be fair, because
my roommate just started being like, stopped trying.

Speaker 6 (01:32:12):
I'll do it.

Speaker 1 (01:32:13):
Yeah, that's anything.

Speaker 8 (01:32:14):
Even if you buy a rice maker on Amazon. It's
so easy.

Speaker 6 (01:32:18):
That's what I'm gonna do for.

Speaker 1 (01:32:20):
You've never been stung by a bee.

Speaker 6 (01:32:22):
No, I'm so scared.

Speaker 1 (01:32:23):
You've never been to a wedding.

Speaker 22 (01:32:25):
No.

Speaker 17 (01:32:25):
What maybe maybe when I was like a baby baby,
like before I was one.

Speaker 6 (01:32:30):
I think I might have. But no, I've never been
to a wedding.

Speaker 1 (01:32:33):
You've never used a leaf blower neither.

Speaker 6 (01:32:37):
Think I'm getting ransom here.

Speaker 4 (01:32:41):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:32:42):
You've never planted anything.

Speaker 6 (01:32:44):
No, my family is horrible with that.

Speaker 17 (01:32:46):
We try to plant anything in our backyard and nothing
ever grows.

Speaker 10 (01:32:49):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:32:50):
Okay, you've never owned crocs. Okay, that's fine.

Speaker 6 (01:32:54):
I think they're weird.

Speaker 1 (01:32:55):
You've never eaten a corn dog.

Speaker 17 (01:32:58):
They discussed me and I love hot dogs, but the
idea of a corn dogs me, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:33:03):
It looks weird.

Speaker 10 (01:33:04):
Do you like like savory and sweet things? I like
savor only savory.

Speaker 6 (01:33:08):
I don't really like sweet stuff. I love corn dogs
do you put mustard on it?

Speaker 4 (01:33:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 13 (01:33:13):
Okay, try it to look at her.

Speaker 1 (01:33:18):
Are you vomiting in your mouth?

Speaker 17 (01:33:19):
No, I'm not because I love hot dogs, so I
can't judge that much because.

Speaker 1 (01:33:23):
It's like a weener with a covering.

Speaker 10 (01:33:25):
Yeah, sweet covering.

Speaker 6 (01:33:27):
My mom's gonna listen to this.

Speaker 1 (01:33:28):
Okay, Well I did just say anything.

Speaker 10 (01:33:30):
Your mom knows what it is.

Speaker 1 (01:33:32):
You've never rented a movie?

Speaker 6 (01:33:34):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:33:35):
Okay?

Speaker 17 (01:33:36):
Like I said, I remember seeing like the big boxes
outside of like shop.

Speaker 1 (01:33:39):
Right, yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know. That's not unusual
considering you're twenty one years old. Yeah, okay, you haven't
done any of these things? What have you done? Why
don't we give get a list of things you've done
that would amaze them.

Speaker 17 (01:33:52):
I was trying to think of things like around my
age that like I haven't done that, Like, no.

Speaker 6 (01:33:58):
Sorry, you guys, my have. And I was thinking.

Speaker 17 (01:34:01):
I was texting my friends and they're like, Julia, you
kind of are a millennial like and I was like,
I'm going to a bon Jovie concert.

Speaker 6 (01:34:07):
This weekend, Like that's like a good type of person.

Speaker 1 (01:34:10):
The okay, I would never go to a bon Jovi concert.

Speaker 8 (01:34:15):
Well, it was fun, do.

Speaker 1 (01:34:17):
You have any desire to go to a music festival. Yes,
have you been to any music festival?

Speaker 6 (01:34:22):
I haven't?

Speaker 4 (01:34:23):
You know?

Speaker 1 (01:34:23):
Tomorrow Land is going on the second weekend? Is this
weekend over in Belgium? You should go to that. I
assigned you tomorrow Land.

Speaker 6 (01:34:28):
You should find my ticket.

Speaker 1 (01:34:30):
Oh I can't. I'm out of money. Hell, that's right,
did you know? Okay? Shall we give you some wisdom
from an old guy? I would love that the money
will run out eventually, if you don't already have if
you don't replenish it, well, I know you're twenty one
years old. You're supposed to be out of money. Yeah,
but I should have money. It's all gone, you just evaporated.

Speaker 6 (01:34:47):
What's your favorite thing you used it on?

Speaker 17 (01:34:50):
God?

Speaker 10 (01:34:50):
A good question.

Speaker 1 (01:34:51):
We all sorts of thing.

Speaker 4 (01:34:52):
I was a dad question. My dad used to ask
me that, would you so the twenty bucks you had?
Show me what you have to show for whole?

Speaker 6 (01:34:58):
No saying bon Jovi jokes. I guess I'm all.

Speaker 10 (01:35:02):
That's a good question, though. What what's your favorite thing
that you have spent your money on? I mean, you
have done a lot of really stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:35:09):
Answer the experiences travel?

Speaker 10 (01:35:11):
Yeah, that's a good one.

Speaker 1 (01:35:13):
Buying things from my friends, helping friends out that need it.
I can't do it anymore. Money's gone. Curtis. Oh look
he's Curtis Sliva. There's what you need to hang out with. Yeah,
what about you? This is a great question. What's your
favorite thing you ever spent money on?

Speaker 10 (01:35:29):
I was having this conversation over the weekend. That's why
I thought it was a great one. Same as you.
I said, travel or anything that makes a memory with
people that makes me really happy. I don't care if
I lost money in the process doing it, or it
costs a lot, if it was fun, I'm here for
a good time, not a long time. Whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:35:43):
What about you, Danielle.

Speaker 13 (01:35:44):
I saved money so that I could do the behind
the scenes Disney tour, like for the whole family if
Christmas one year and it was so expensive, but we
skip the lines and you get to do all that stuff.
To me, that was like one of the best investments
I've ever experience.

Speaker 8 (01:35:58):
It was so much.

Speaker 1 (01:35:59):
Yeah, it was the best A.

Speaker 4 (01:36:00):
Frog I would say.

Speaker 16 (01:36:02):
I love giving gifts to other people, Like watching somebody
else get excited when you give them something, something that
they've wanted or something that they're surprised about that always
makes me feel good.

Speaker 1 (01:36:11):
What about you, Nate, what.

Speaker 4 (01:36:12):
Have you done?

Speaker 5 (01:36:13):
Uh?

Speaker 9 (01:36:13):
Well done? Versus what I spent money on that was
worth it? Laser eye surgery.

Speaker 1 (01:36:19):
Okay, I tell you what. I was legally.

Speaker 9 (01:36:21):
Blind before I had the laser eyesery. I could not
even see my glasses. To put on my glasses, I'd
have to like pad around on the floor to see
where my glasses.

Speaker 1 (01:36:29):
It's gonna be able to see.

Speaker 9 (01:36:30):
It was life Chang, the best money I've ever spent
on anything in my entire life.

Speaker 15 (01:36:33):
What about you, Scary, my apartment and my blackout shades
for my.

Speaker 1 (01:36:37):
Apartment, that's the best money you've ever spent because that's
the best thing you've ever spent money.

Speaker 15 (01:36:41):
One past six am on a Saturday and Sunday.

Speaker 10 (01:36:44):
Up until Scary. I was about to applaud all of
us for not have setting one said one material thing right,
and then we got a material thing.

Speaker 1 (01:36:51):
But that's important for me. Yeah, it's called shelter, shelter, shelter.
It's called blackout shade shelter. Text bench coming in intern Julia.
I'm liking Julie more and more after all of these
I'm thirty eight and I'm right there with you. I
never separated laundry, never a button, never watched a Red,

(01:37:12):
Harry Potter or Star Wars. I never had a cavity,
never even got a postcard though, and I never paid
a cell phone bill.

Speaker 6 (01:37:21):
I believe we should be friends.

Speaker 1 (01:37:22):
Where is intern Julie with her fun accent? Where are
you from?

Speaker 6 (01:37:25):
I'm from Jersey?

Speaker 1 (01:37:27):
What part of Jersey?

Speaker 17 (01:37:28):
Sorry, Mamma's county?

Speaker 8 (01:37:32):
I need this list because.

Speaker 6 (01:37:33):
But my parents are from Brooklyn.

Speaker 13 (01:37:35):
Yeah, Danielle my son is twenty one, my oldest. So
I want to ask him all these questions and see
if he's done.

Speaker 8 (01:37:45):
Half of these things.

Speaker 6 (01:37:46):
That's a good idea.

Speaker 8 (01:37:47):
Yeah, I know that he's done laundry.

Speaker 1 (01:37:49):
So how long have you been interning here on the
Morning show?

Speaker 17 (01:37:53):
Since the beginning of June?

Speaker 11 (01:37:56):
Right?

Speaker 6 (01:37:56):
Not that long?

Speaker 1 (01:37:57):
Are you learning anything?

Speaker 2 (01:37:58):
I am?

Speaker 6 (01:37:59):
I'm having fun.

Speaker 1 (01:38:00):
I learned to have fun. Diamond.

Speaker 11 (01:38:04):
Is she?

Speaker 1 (01:38:05):
Is she any good in there? I'll we get her
out of there, I'll move her.

Speaker 6 (01:38:08):
No, no, no, she's great.

Speaker 10 (01:38:10):
She helps me out a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:38:11):
She's that doesn't sound convincing it all?

Speaker 19 (01:38:13):
You mean?

Speaker 1 (01:38:14):
I don't think you care for her?

Speaker 6 (01:38:15):
Are you kidding?

Speaker 1 (01:38:17):
Are you too really getting along in there.

Speaker 10 (01:38:18):
Yeah, we are, Okay, it's not what Diamond texted me.

Speaker 1 (01:38:21):
Oh stop, Diamond. You know you're in that enclosed area
with her. Does she fart a lot because she has
a farting.

Speaker 6 (01:38:29):
No, she's good, she behaves, she waits to leave the room.

Speaker 1 (01:38:32):
Okay, all right, Well in turn, Julia, it was fabulous
having you here. Thank you and all the things that
you haven't done. I don't even I don't think you're
missing much. I think you're okay.

Speaker 3 (01:38:44):
Thank you.

Speaker 13 (01:38:45):
That makes me feel about a leaf blower right away?

Speaker 1 (01:38:48):
You done? Are you ready for the show?

Speaker 8 (01:38:52):

here we go. Okay, I'm not gonna do anything. No, no,
don't don't hit it? He said, don't do anything. Okay,
Now what are you wan gonna do? Hit whit? Why
do I hit? Okay?

Speaker 2 (01:39:23):
Bye today, Elvis Duran in the morning show.

Speaker 1 (01:39:33):
Let's have a conversation about the reverberation of everything that
came out of FIFA and World Cup. Okay, it's still
it's still vibrating, right, It's still it's still echoing through
the hallways. We're still talking about it. Things we learned,
things we observe, things we we can do better with whatever.
I don't know, no matter what I'm about to say,

(01:39:55):
I I love my country. I love living here. And
since I was a little there's always been something that
made you go God, this place. But that's okay.

Speaker 4 (01:40:04):
We live here.

Speaker 1 (01:40:05):
We can say what we want to say about it
because I'm not leaving. I love it. When I was
growing up as a kid, I would hear people talk
about Russia, for instance, Oh, we'd never go to Russia.
That's the enemy. What And then you know, next thing
you know, people are Americans are going to Russia. Things
are fine, things are a little tense often on these
days or back then, it was everyone's little dream to

(01:40:32):
become the president of the United States. I would love
to be president. Wow, that's a cool gig. In the
past twenty thirty years, it's turned into a gig that's
not really a it's a thankless job, it really is.

Speaker 8 (01:40:43):
I would not who In my head, I'm like, who
the hell would want that?

Speaker 1 (01:40:47):
Well, someone who has guts and who's going to go
out there and has thick skin. Yeah. Absolutely, But and
this is not a new thing. This is a lot.
It was a long time coming where being the president
just wasn't as shiny and fun as it seemed to
be in the old days. And respect for that. Okay,
So with World Cup rolling through America through the US,

(01:41:10):
it was so cool the global influence from all these
other countries coming in. But what was more cool, in
my opinion about what they brought into our country is
how a lot of us opened our minds to listen
to it and observe and learn and appreciate it. May
not have to live that way at the same time,
it's cool to observe and learn.

Speaker 8 (01:41:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:41:31):
I think that was a really great thing about having
them here, having the whole thing here. Yeah. But you Gandhi,
you saw a weird stat about the numbers of people
who watched the World Cup. Listen to this.

Speaker 10 (01:41:42):
Yeah, So I was actually watching a video yesterday where
they were walking around in office asking people how many
people more do you think watched the World Cup than
watch the Super Bowl? And everybody was answering, and they
were saying three million, five million, twenty million, thinking, oh,
you know these are pig numbers. No, no, it was
close to one point for billion more people watch the
World Cup than watch the Super Bowl. And watching these

(01:42:04):
people be mind blown by that was just fascinating to
me because I thought, you didn't know this, But the
world watches a World Cup, right, yeah, exactly. The Super
Bowl is America and that's it.

Speaker 1 (01:42:16):
That's it. Well, see, that's the thing. We do. Live
in a bubble that we have created. And this is
not a newly created bubble. This is a bubble I
kind of trying to point out a second ago. This
is a bubble that was around when I was a kid.

Speaker 10 (01:42:26):
Sure, I'm not sure every country has a bubble in
some way.

Speaker 1 (01:42:29):
We feel like we are superior in every single way,
and there's no there's no debate about it, right, there's
nothing to at least learn about what we could do
better on that other countries are succeeding at doing. So
here's my thought. Open your mind when you hear numbers
as easy as the ones Jesus taught us it's this billion.
It's over a billion more people watching the World Cup

(01:42:50):
than the Super Bowl. Understand, there's a world out there.
And I made a joke of this yesterday and I'm serious.
When I was a kid in school, the teacher said,
I'm so excited. It's been a long time coming. Kids.
We're now going to learn the metric system. We're going
to learn centimeters rather than inches. We're going to learn
kilograms rather than pounds. We're going to.

Speaker 10 (01:43:13):
Never did no, which is a bummer when you go
other places.

Speaker 1 (01:43:16):
Having a conversation with my dermatologies yesterday, she said, well,
in the medical field, in order to communicate globally, we
do deal with centimeters. We deal with metric system in medical,
medical numbers and things like that.

Speaker 10 (01:43:31):
Math is universal.

Speaker 1 (01:43:32):
The rest of us have not done that. Why is
it we are like the last ones?

Speaker 10 (01:43:36):
I don't know. I mean there's something about the US that,
you know, we just we are very independent. We like
to do things our own way, and I think we
think it's sometimes better than other places, and maybe it's not.
Maybe it is in some ways, but you know, it's
all over the map. We always laugh about I know,
Nate and I laugh about this a lot that in
the US they will use any type of unit to
measure things besides the metric system. Yest like this was

(01:43:59):
two and a half for free is long?

Speaker 1 (01:44:00):
Like, what do you mean the media was the size
of seventy four geese. Well, no, it didn't take it.
Take it a little more inside, it's the length of
a football field. Well, which football exactly because we have
different lengths.

Speaker 14 (01:44:15):
Yeah, scary, what's going on? I think the problem is
we only know what we know. And I saw that
same video from barstool that Gandhi saw and my mind
was blown when I saw it, and I got to.

Speaker 1 (01:44:25):
Say, I'm happy to have learned it.

Speaker 14 (01:44:28):
And if you use social media the right way and
you get your algorithms working right, your mind could be
open to a lot more than you would have previously known.
And so there so and when we grew up here
fifty sixty years ago, we didn't have.

Speaker 1 (01:44:41):
This, these these resources, well we did, we didn't listen
to them. Hey, does the world eat consume more wheat
or more rice?

Speaker 10 (01:44:51):
I think.

Speaker 15 (01:44:53):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:44:54):
I'm asking. I'm assuming it is rice, I think. But look,
we grew up in a big wheat country, so, but
I wonder because you know, wheat is around the world
as well.

Speaker 10 (01:45:05):
I think also something that's really interesting that a lot
of people might not have the perspective of is when
you look at a population map of the world and
you look at where the majority of human beings live.
The United States, i believe, is about three to five
percent of the entire world's population. Asia alone is half.
So between India and China, you've got half the world

(01:45:26):
between two countries. Both of them meet a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:45:29):
Of rice.

Speaker 10 (01:45:31):
Butter ice.

Speaker 1 (01:45:33):
But as they came to visit us in our three
cities during World Cup, what did they say? They appreciated
here over here a.

Speaker 13 (01:45:42):
Lot of things like how big everything is, the roads,
the buildings, the food portions.

Speaker 8 (01:45:47):
Like they do a lot of people don't have that.

Speaker 13 (01:45:50):
And they said that friendliness that if you look at
how the media portrays the US, it's totally different than
when you actually come here and you talk.

Speaker 8 (01:45:58):
To us or you you know, spend time.

Speaker 13 (01:46:01):
They also said Los Angeles looks so glamorous and then
when you go there it's it's a dump for most
for most accurate. What else did they say? Theres the
size of Lake Michigan. That was They said that that
was really they didn't realize it was as I guess,

(01:46:21):
as big as it is. I guess, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:46:23):
And a sky.

Speaker 13 (01:46:24):
They said, there's a lot more sky here than they thought,
like when they're flying over it or looking up, they
were like, it's it's you know, very open.

Speaker 1 (01:46:32):
Well, we all have the whole world has the same
amount of sky. That's interesting.

Speaker 13 (01:46:35):
But this person said, they live in this huge British
city where it's just skyscrapers and huge buildings everywhere, densely
packed together, and there's so many blind spots you don't
get to see all of that sky.

Speaker 1 (01:46:46):
So this is from the World Cup. What exactly what's
the size of the World Series?

Speaker 10 (01:46:52):
Like, how many people watch it?

Speaker 1 (01:46:54):
The World Series? It's not even a world series. It's
that's that's my point. The World Series really isn't the
World Leading.

Speaker 8 (01:47:03):
No, they don't have that anywhere else.

Speaker 1 (01:47:06):
Why are we calling it the World series? Globally we
call it the World series because it's our world. It's
our world. But you know, okay, anyway.

Speaker 13 (01:47:17):
By the way, school buses was also something because in
a lot of places they're like, we thought that was
just in movies.

Speaker 8 (01:47:23):
Those schools yellow, those yellow school buses. This is from
Reddit if you want to check it out.

Speaker 1 (01:47:29):
So lots of things learned from World Cup, which I appreciated.
You may not agree with all of it. You may
not want to live anywhere else. I know I don't,
and that's okay. But you still can learn about other places.

Speaker 10 (01:47:43):
Travel. It's important. I've learned so many things leaving and
coming back.

Speaker 1 (01:47:49):
And someone was asking me about New York City. New
York City is a pain in the ass. But you
know what, every time I leave it, I'm like, let's
get out of the city. And every time I come back,
I'm so happy to be back. And so, yeah, this
is kind of the way it is. But New York City,
what will we have left if we weren't paying the
ass sent me? What else is there?

Speaker 10 (01:48:07):
Is that half the appeal? Yeah, pain in the ass
and only we can deal with it.

Speaker 1 (01:48:11):
My favorite, my favorite story, and I told this many times,
is someone was coming to work here from another city
and I said, well, how much do you want to
make money wise? They said, well, how much does it?
I mean, how much does it cost to be comfortable
in New York City? And said hear me out because
your answer may not be mine. My answer is, well,
I feel is the truth. There is no amount of

(01:48:31):
amount of money that have to be comfortable in a city.
You could be a multi billionaire, it's still an uncomfortable city. Yeah,
I mean on a different level, but it's still uncomfortable.
So there you go, right, How you like that you're
pointing at something? What are you doing?

Speaker 15 (01:48:46):
What are you doing?

Speaker 1 (01:48:47):
You're pointing at this There's nothing there? Okay, thank you.

Speaker 10 (01:48:52):
I love that We all use sign language, but nobody
speaks the same language with it's happening.

Speaker 1 (01:48:57):
All right, we're going to take a break right about now.

Speaker 8 (01:49:03):
Who chooses to get up at this time?

Speaker 2 (01:49:05):
I know early morning Black Elvis Duran in the Morning show.

Speaker 1 (01:49:11):
All right, shows done, Let's get out of here until
next time. Say peace out, everybody, Peace out, everybody,
