I've been in Argentina fan since I was from from
two thousand and four when I was watching the Cobamerica
and and you know, three consecutive years messally lost championships,
you know, important ones with the national team. You know,
I get it. You know a lot of people are
(06:49):
saying it's rigged that, you know, these reps are not
helping their their case, but these players are amazing and
what they did yesterday that comeback was phenomenal. And I
don't care who wins on Sunday. I just want a

This is Alvis Duran in the Morning Show, just thinking.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
That call we had from our listener, Bruno, our first
caller of the day. I don't know if you missed it.
If you missed it, you missed it. We'll play it
again later. He lit us up talking about how much
he loves us. He went through us, name by name,
how we make his life better. And you know what,
if you could just hear me on, if you could
(09:29):
find someone in your day today and light them up
like that, just out of nowhere, like smack him upside
the heads and then by saying, hey, I'm going to
tell you something. I was thinking about you this morning,
and I'm thinking about how much you bring into my
life and the lives of others around you. It will
change their day. Look how Bruno changed our.
Speaker 6 (09:48):
Day, right exactly. I was having a cruppy es date
till Bruno came into my life.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Here you go, you so anyway, just think that through.
If you could just say something nice to someone and
it'll catch him surprise. I'm sure that's nice.
Speaker 4 (10:02):
Just a thought.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Hey, I have to send a thank you out to
doctor Hutt and all the incredible professionals that work at AMC,
the Animal Medical Center here in Manhattan. This hospital, it's
almost as nice or better than any human hospital I've
ever been to in my life. Not that long ago,
they actually removed a tumor from my Max's head that
(10:24):
was about to go into his brain and about to
spread throughout his body and take his life, which is
not uncommon for dogs. They found it in time, they
removed it, and through miracle, he is doing great. He's
still jumping around. He's about fourteen years old, and he's
still zooming around and jumping like a bunny rabbit in
the backyard playing with Ollie. He's still an energetic little puppy, right.
(10:48):
You saw him yesterday and he's an old man, but
he's man. He's got it. So anyway, I got to
call yesterday after his six month cat scan see T scan,
and I was like, oh boy, and she said Elvis.
I said, yes, doctor Hutt. She said he is as
clean as clean can be.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
Yeah, she went to the God.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Yeah, all the the nodes are good and clean and
small and whatever. She said, we'll see in six months
and after that it'll be every year. And so the
miracle that they pull off at this animal hospital, I
just have to say thank you.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
It was.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
It was as fantastic get that news yesterday.
Speaker 5 (11:29):
Wow, thank you for taking care of Maxi.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
And also, you know, when you're about to do a
CT scan or whatever, they take a deposit, put it
on your credit card. And so she said, and there's
one more thing, mister dan Hoolan, come back. Oh god,
what I what do I owe you? You get an
eight hundred dollars refund?
Speaker 6 (11:46):
When does that happen?
Speaker 3 (11:50):
I should be in Atlantic City on the crabs table today.
Did they say why, Well, because they didn't they didn't
need all the money. I mean, you put a deposit
down on things they could do.
Speaker 7 (12:00):
You know what.
Speaker 6 (12:00):
We took Fred to the vet recently and the cat
Fred the cat, and they actually said, hey, this is
how much the estimate is. And then at the end
of it they said, by the way, you didn't use
it all, so you get a couple of hundred bucks.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
That what happened?
Speaker 5 (12:14):
What opposite? When my freaking lizard passed away, I went
in and they said, this is not good. We're gonna
have to, you know, put him down. I said, okay,
and I paid sixty dollars. And then he died on
his own before it could happen, and they still charged
me sixty dollars.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
I don't mean to laugh.
Speaker 6 (12:31):
Sixty dollars is a lot less than the cat cost.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
What was your lizard's name? That's right, all the lizard
named after marijuana.
Speaker 5 (12:42):
It's a magical grass, hello, it sure is anyway, So
everyone at AMC, thank you for what you've done for
my little my little Maxie man.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Our venture so important to us, right frog, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
They are God. I just love Maxi so much. You're
your two dogs. Outside of obviously my own dog, your
two dogs are some of my favorite And just to
see Maxie still going so strong at fourteen years old,
and what they did for him there. Medicine is truly incredible.
We've seen it on this show with many of us,
and now with animals, what they can do is exactly incredible,
you know.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
And I had a early dear friend say, don't do it.
Don't go through this very invasive surgery for your dog.
I mean, are you doing it for him or for you?
And what are you doing? And I'm like, well, well no,
you know, if I had a tumbe on my head,
I'd want my mom and dad to take it off.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
Is it just me?
Speaker 5 (13:28):
If there's a chance, yeah, for sure.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Anyway, So thank you, AMC love them, love them. They're fantastic.
So you know, call your fat today since send him
a fruit basket, do something? Yeah, into the horse coupes?
Who's doing them? Oh wait wait is it food News Thursday?
Speaker 10 (13:42):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (13:42):
It is, Oh, Froggy, who do you want to do
them with today?
Speaker 4 (13:45):

start all right. Celebrity birthdays today if you celebrate Happy

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Right now we get into the three things we need
to know.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
All right.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
I'm afraid happened.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
We had a lot.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
We had a great positive moment with our friend Bruno.
Speaker 5 (15:25):
Hey, now I knows the news. I don't write it.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
I know, I know it.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
Don't make it.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
What's going on?
Speaker 7 (15:32):
All right?
Speaker 5 (15:32):
Wildfires? Let's talk about those. We have been feeling it here.
Wildfires running in Canada and Minnesota are causing some air
quality issues across large sections of the US. The smoke
was dense and hazy yesterday from Minnesota to Michigan and
even upstate New York and further into the Northeast. Today,
the smoke is expected from Ohio to Wisconsin, with some
possible over Philadelphia, Chicago, and Minneapolis. It will keep heading
(15:55):
south Friday into more of the Midwest and wild things
start to improve in the north. It's just not going
to look good.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
I'll tell you. Yesterday it was hot. It was like
the real feel was like one hundred and something degrees
and you could see and smell the smoke. I felt
like a big brisket.
Speaker 6 (16:11):
I thought the world was ending it once.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
I felt like someone's gonna slice me and make a
sandwich out meat. The world is ending, But we're damn tasty.
Speaker 5 (16:21):
I wonder if that's real.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
Do you think we're smoking like a brisket.
Speaker 5 (16:24):
We are getting smoked as we're walking around, are we.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
Well, that's okay, that's how you barbecue. It's a slow cook.
I mean you cook with smoke. Yeah, in a hot oven.
Speaker 5 (16:35):
They're handing out masks and everything today. It's that smoky,
So we probably are getting more delicious on the inside
as we're dying as well.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
What kind of sides do we want my corny and
cheese cheese.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
L Well, that smoke we know can be very dangerous
for sensitive people like very young children, the elderly, and
people with health conditions, so keep that in mind if
you're going outside.
Speaker 4 (16:55):
It's good for your briskets.
Speaker 6 (16:56):
Yes, okay.
Speaker 5 (16:59):
California lower are considering two bills to track how much
water data centers use as AI fuels industry growth. One
bill would require developers to share estimated water use before building.
The other would require yearly reports on actual water use
once centers are open. Data centers, which we know house
computer servers often need a lot of water for cooling.
(17:20):
California already has more than three hundred and thirty without
knowing details like how much water they'll need or who
will pay for it. Supporters of the new bills say
the fast growth of these centers makes it important to
track water use now. Opponents say current laws are enough
and data centers are not unusually water intensive, so there
is a debate. And finally, wallet hub is out this
(17:41):
week with its rankings of best cities for recreation in America.
While Hub looked at one hundred of the largest US
cities and considered stats in forty six metrics, including the
number of public beaches, fishing places, and restaurants per capita,
the costs associated with enjoying those activities, and the quality
of parks and playgrounds. Any guesses what the number one
(18:02):
city is for recreation?
Speaker 3 (18:04):
Recreation? Yes, don't say Las Vegas and it Las Vegas O.
Speaker 9 (18:08):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (18:09):
Really?
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (18:09):
I didn't know the hell A lot of parks out there,
but apparently they came in first, followed by Orlando, Cincinnati,
and Atlanta, And in bad news for Scary and myself,
Jersey City, New Jersey ranked dead last. Wow, yeah, okay,
no fun in Jersey. You can walk to the train, right,
I guess. Oh those are your three things.
Speaker 3 (18:27):
Check it out. We're so appreciated and I love you.
Elvis Duran in the Morning show you Know here is
talking about these heroes that are recognized by our friends
at Tunnel to Towers. Let's talk about Tunnel to Towers
and recognize what they're doing. Of course, honoring twenty fifth
anniversary of nine to eleven, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation
is doing a lot. They planned the most comprehensive commemoration
(18:50):
in its history from May through September, which is already
going on the Foundation Steal Across America Tour. Listen to
what they're doing with the Stealed Across America Tour. They're
transporting this massive steel beam that came from the World
Trade Center on nine to eleven all around the country
to tell the story in honor of the three hundred
(19:10):
and forty three members of the New York City Fire
Department who made that ultimate sacrifice on nine to eleven.
They're delivering three hundred and forty three mortgage free homes
to heroes and their families. Can you imagine. And they're
continuing their efforts to eradicate veteran homelessness. At the same time,
they're doing so much at Tunnel to Towers, the nine
to eleven Institute. It's the educational curriculum reaching classrooms nationwide,
(19:35):
while first hand accounts are being shared through the nine
to eleven Speakers Bureau and the Foundation's mobile exhibit traveling
all across America. And they've got runs and walks and
climbs and golf outings and the Tower Climb and the
five K events here in New York City. We should
help Tunnel to Towers. Excuse me, because they are doing
so much to recognize heroes and take care of their families.
(19:56):
What a great example they're setting. Help out today. You
can donate eleven dollars a month. It's pretty simple, right,
eleven dollars a month to Tunnel to Towers at T
twot dot org. That's t the number two T dot org.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Call us at one eight hundred two four to two
zero one hundred.
Speaker 8 (20:14):
Get you when you're like actually on the phone.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
Elstran in the Morning show.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
Hey, just as little reminder, if you go to the gym,
any of your your your earbuds in, or if you're
on a plane or just anywhere walking down the street
and you're listening to music in your your headphones or
your ear buds whatever, if you sing out loud, it's
a lot louder than what you hear. You've heard people
(20:40):
do this, right.
Speaker 6 (20:41):
Yeah, Danielle I do it all the time.
Speaker 4 (20:44):
So daniel in the gym.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Yeah, So you get on the treadmill and you don't
do you realize you're singing?
Speaker 9 (20:50):
No?
Speaker 6 (20:50):
Sometimes I don't, but then somebody might tell me.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
I am I mean, has anyone told you, hey, you're
really singing loudly?
Speaker 11 (20:58):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (20:58):
Yeah, well you.
Speaker 6 (20:59):
Think just in the gym, be like hello, yeah, hello.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Well see, because we're in this business and we understand
life with headphones on, we know that when they're on,
you know, and you speak, you don't hear yourself speak,
so you speak louder you without knowing it. You've never
been with someone and they have headphones on or their
earbuds and they you go, hey, what are you doing?
Speaker 12 (21:25):
What?
Speaker 7 (21:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (21:26):
All this time they start screaming, there's no need because
you're right there.
Speaker 4 (21:29):
I like this. This is my favorite song. You like
this song? Dad.
Speaker 6 (21:34):
This happens when I go to do an Amazon return
because I normally do them when I'm on my walk,
so I have my earbuds in. I'm on my walk
and I forget I have my earbuds in, and the
lady will be like, oh is that it?
Speaker 7 (21:44):
That's it?
Speaker 4 (21:45):
Thank you so much God.
Speaker 6 (21:47):
And they're like, really right here.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
So this is so funny the things we do. I've
been on a walk before and I don't realize that
somebody behind me maybe is running, so they're catching up
to me and I just ripped a big one and
they've been like, whoa, that was a good one there. Sorry,
I didn't realize you're behind me and you were around.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Sorry, how did we get into farting all of a sudden?
The things we do? It's true, God, we were Oh
I can't tell the story, never mind.
Speaker 6 (22:18):
What tell it? Tell it.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
We were flying back from Europe the other day and
someone in the in the cabin got gassie and it was.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
So bad.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
I remember a text message about that.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (22:33):
What I remember a text message about that?
Speaker 4 (22:35):
From who?
Speaker 5 (22:36):
From you?
Speaker 3 (22:36):
What did I say?
Speaker 5 (22:37):
Shall I read it?
Speaker 3 (22:42):
I really really bad?
Speaker 5 (22:44):
Do you really want me to read the text?
Speaker 3 (22:45):
And what makes me scared is we'll.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
Go ahead, because it identifies who the person was.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
Yeah, so there were four of us. It was a
kid and Nita and Alex and me and then four
other people.
Speaker 5 (22:56):
Okay, and where did it go? Oh? I farted and
really smelled up the first class cabin like boiled eggs. Okay,
Well there we go.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
Okay, okay, okay, here's the problem. So as we were,
like you know, checking in, and we're putting our bags
on the on the thing that make him go through
X ray whatever, there are people there and they're on
the same flight, and I think they live in New
York and they so they may they may listen. I
(23:30):
don't know, so they may have. They may have come
home with a story about how they're the guy they
listened to in the mornings. Maybe if they do listen,
stunk up the cabin It was a boiled egg.
Speaker 5 (23:42):
Wow, it's not funny, that's hilarious. It's not funny as
it is. You don't expect that in first class.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
They will never upgrade us ever again again, moving on
from yeah, yes, carry what.
Speaker 13 (23:59):
It was in my law being to wait for the elevator.
As soon as the elevator door opened. This guy looks
at me, startled, runs out of the elevator. I walk in,
the doors closed, and then I get the whip.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
Yeah, your track. And that's and that's where that term
comes from. Like if someone comes in here and says
something really rude and walks out the door, we call
it farting and getting off the elevator. You're leaving us
to deal with what you left? Well, I know, but
have you ever?
Speaker 4 (24:23):
Can we move on?
Speaker 3 (24:24):
I don't. I'm just realizing I have so many fart stories.
I don't want to know. You know who has fart stories?
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Is Diamond?
Speaker 12 (24:30):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (24:30):
Yes, Diamond? Yeah, don't you have any good fart stories
come on, Well, I.
Speaker 6 (24:34):
Fought so much that I don't think that any of
them are actual stories. Like I have to fart right
now and I'm trying not to do it.
Speaker 7 (24:39):
You're in room well because my intern is coming soon
and I don't want her to walk.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
In and be like WHOA. So I thought it through
everyone diamond when you're on a plane, apparently, and maybe
I'm wrong, but I think I'm right. The air circulation
is like from left to right, it circles. It doesn't
go from forward to back. So so if you're if
I'm sitting over here and you're sitting across the aisle,
you're going to get it.
Speaker 11 (25:05):
I think.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
I think that's how that works. Is so threatening, let
you know, but then it's going to come back to
me though. It's like a boomerang, a fart boomerang. Oh no,
it's like the neighborhood cats. It just never goes away. No, no, no, anyway, Hey,
speaking of airports, can we talk about airport divorces?
Speaker 5 (25:24):
I love them.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
Hear me out because this could be applied to many
other things in life beyond airports.
Speaker 5 (25:31):
Go So it's when you go to the airport but
the two of you as a couple airport very differently.
One likes to be leisurely and maybe get some food
and look around, goes shopping. The other one likes to
basically run into the plane. So you go to the
airport and meet up at the gate, or you go
separately and still meet up at the gate.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
Yeah, I meet up in the seats. Yeaheah, you don't
have to get on the plane together. Yeah, just hope.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
Who does that? Who does that?
Speaker 5 (25:57):
Scary?
Speaker 4 (25:57):
Scary? Yeah, because scary pree check and his girlfriend does not.
So he leaves her in the security line and says,
I'll meet you at the gate.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Yep.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
That's not a mutual divorce though, that is him abandoning anymore.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Man.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
All right, Okay, the point is this, I don't thank you.
The point is this, what other situations in life? If
you're coupled up, you just don't like being with him
through the process, so you can split it. Sleeping beds, Yeah,
we hear this all the time. A lot of people
in relationships sleep in separate bedrooms or sleep sleep in
(26:37):
separate beds.
Speaker 5 (26:39):
Going out with certain friends, yeah, a lot of couples
don't like to hang out with the same people or
you know, they'll be like, oh, this person drives me insane. Cool, Well,
I'll go out and you can say, oh, no problem exactly.
Brandon and I are an airport divorced couple for sure,
not because of a pre check or anything.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
Parties, parties. Yeah, when we go to parties, we sometimes
we don't we don't cling with other people.
Speaker 8 (27:00):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (27:00):
I think that's how it should be.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
Yeah, Well, and I think that means you're okay with
your relationships.
Speaker 11 (27:05):
You're fine.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
You know, you don't have to be joined at the hip.
Speaker 6 (27:07):
And I like that because I feel like they can
hold their own like you know, and they have people
that they can talk to. And especially if it's like
it's your party that you're going to, it's your friends,
and you know that you can leave your significant other
to like take care of themselves and they're going to
mingle and have a good time. Right, That's a good sign.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
Going to a bar with with Nate is that way
because he's always flirting. And I'm saying he's not always
like on the prowl for his next victim, but I
mean he'll just he'll flirt with guys and his conversations
with total strangers. And then how many times have we've
been on to lunch with each other and I'm sitting
at the table by myself. He's talking to the person
(27:44):
at the next table, and I'm just I don't have nothing,
I have nothing to do.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
You get angry, You get angry.
Speaker 5 (27:51):
You're not hibachi guy. You know the place at the
table that always has a conversation with the other people
at the table.
Speaker 3 (27:59):
Record three times I've had my meal paid for Hibachi
because I am so entertaining at the tables. I got you, bro,
I got you. Put that wallt away. You've been fun
so the about your table, the blackjack table.
Speaker 4 (28:15):
Yeah, I'm cutting them up, man, Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (28:18):
They're like, please give me the bill. I gotta get
out of here.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
Now, what are you gonna be like me? You're an
old man? You just wait. I'm gonna be a life
of every party.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
You know how your dad is right now?
Speaker 3 (28:30):
Yes, he talks, that's gonna be nice. No no, no, no, no, no, wrong,
that's already yeah. We've already decided Nate is an old man.
Speaker 5 (28:39):
Have to shut him down.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
We got to get into the horoscopes and the horse
Danielle report Danielle, Yes, I have an idea Tomurrow morning,
when I come in and do the show, I'm just
gonna leave. We're gonna have a little divorce.
Speaker 6 (28:53):
Okay, you'd like that, But.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
As soon as the song ends, I'll run into the room.
Oh Gandhi already does that.
Speaker 5 (29:00):
I do divorce you, guysom divorce.
Speaker 6 (29:05):
You cheat.
Speaker 5 (29:06):
It's so healthy for a relationship, though.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
Scary also says malls like, if you go to the
mall with a friend, do your own take.
Speaker 7 (29:13):
We'll meet you later.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
Yep.
Speaker 6 (29:14):
Okay. Let's talk about Shia Labuff confronting a stalker outside
of his home. Her name was Alyssa, and there's a
video posted on Instagram. It's on her account, and uh, basically,
Shia said, Hi, how are you? You're scaring my dad,
You're scaring my people. You hear me. You know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 7 (29:32):
God bless you.
Speaker 6 (29:33):
Leave me alone now. Alyssa said, Shaia, I was not
near this person's house. Blah blah blah. In the video,
Shaia approached her car knocked on the driver's side window.
He remained calm, which is a little unusual for him,
but he is serving probation right now. But anyway, so
it's a he said, she said right now. But it's
kind of weird and apparently I don't know it's it's
(29:54):
it's the story is kind of strange. So if you
want to google it, you can read it a.
Speaker 14 (29:57):
Little bit more.
Speaker 3 (29:58):
Yeah, I don't care about him.
Speaker 6 (29:59):
So, okay, it's a stalker situation though.
Speaker 7 (30:02):
It's scary.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Nobody I'm asking you, does any is anyone into Shilah
buff anymore?
Speaker 5 (30:06):
I don't know, not for the right reason.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
He's kind of why are you into hi? Because he's
a mess.
Speaker 5 (30:11):
Such a train wreck. Yeah, there's just something happening at
all moments and I'm like, oh, what do you doing now?
Speaker 3 (30:16):
What wasn't saying though, because I didn't want to hear
the story because.
Speaker 4 (30:18):
Like, what does he do?
Speaker 2 (30:19):
He?
Speaker 3 (30:19):
Is he acting anyone?
Speaker 6 (30:20):
Well, he's serving probation for hacking two individuals in New Orleans.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
He's got a gig, He's.
Speaker 7 (30:25):
Got a gig.
Speaker 6 (30:26):
Okay, let's talk about a giraffe bro born in a
British animal sanctuary that has been named after England's soccer
star Jude Bellingham. Last weekend, Bellingham scored two goals against
Norway just hours after the giraffe's arrival. Until the giraffe
is now called Jude Bellingham. So there you go. Let's see.
(30:47):
Speaking of the World Cup, we know it is Spain
and Argentina meeting for the World Cup finals on Sunday.
So Messi plays for Spain, right, he's thirty nine, and
the big star I mean Messi plays for Argentina. Sar
he's thirty nine. And the big star for Spain is
Lamin yo Mal, who is nineteen years old. He's one
of their really big ones. The two of them actually
(31:10):
had their paths cross years ago. Nineteen years ago in Spain.
Messi was twenty playing for Barcelona and Yamal was a baby.
And what happened was there was a photographer hired to
take pictures of Barcelona fans with their kids, with their
families and with some of the players. So a charity
(31:30):
auction happened for UNICEF, and Jamal's family won the auction
and he was one of the babies in the shoot.
So there are pictures of Jamal in the and there's
Messi at nineteen with him. Hal Kuazure nineteen or twenty,
So they'd met years ago. And now they're going to
meet in the final Spain Argentina on Sunday.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
Step further, what if Messi's his dad?
Speaker 6 (31:52):
I don't think so.
Speaker 5 (31:54):
That would be shocking.
Speaker 6 (31:55):
That would be shocking, be.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Really fun story, it'd be interesting.
Speaker 6 (31:58):
Paust Malon will be headlining the few for World Cup
twenty twenty six closing ceremony. I think it's gonna be
like ninety minutes before kickoff on Sunday, so be interesting.
And then we know we have a huge halftime show
happening as well. Trailer for the third season of the
Netflix series My Life with the Walter Boyce has dropped.
That is coming out on August sixth. You know, La
La Land will be celebrating its tenth anniversary, so it's
(32:20):
gonna return to theaters next month. That was released in
twenty sixteen. Check your local listings if you want to
go and see that. And It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,
returning for season eighteen next month. That's been crazy. That's
gonna premiere nine pm Eastern on a whole bunch of
places on August seventeenth. What are we watching? Descendance is
back with Wicked Wonderland tonight. You also have the series
(32:42):
premiere of The Hawk on Netflix. No World Cup games
to tell you about. Really sorry about that. Really, it's
like withdrawal. It's ridiculous. It's like you're going through something.
And that is my Daniel point.
Speaker 3 (32:52):
Hey, our friend Rosanna Scott. I went to see a
movie called The Envite. She says it's the funniest movie
she's seen.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
In a long time.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
Yeah, it's a movie ninety six percent Rotten Tomatoes. Have
you heard about The Invite?
Speaker 12 (33:03):
No?
Speaker 5 (33:04):
Who's in it?
Speaker 4 (33:05):
These people?
Speaker 5 (33:06):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
It's directed by Olivia Wilde, starring Seth Rogan, Olivia Wilde,
Penelope Cruise, and Edward Norton. It's about a dinner party
between two couples that becomes awkward and explores themes of
marriage and relationships.
Speaker 7 (33:20):
Woo.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
Anyways, she says it was really funny and uncomfortable at times.
Speaker 5 (33:23):
All right, there you go.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Happy birthday, Harry.
Speaker 6 (33:26):
By the way, have birthday harryh.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
This guy that texted in and said, tell me happy birthday.
My name is Harry. Happy birthday, Harry.
Speaker 7 (33:33):
Birthday.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Elvis duran clop if you think she should suffer?
Speaker 6 (33:40):

Speaker 3 (34:03):
Trying to get more protein, trying trying. Okay, so is
this is this? Is this the right yogurt? That's what's
it called? Oh it's not phage.
Speaker 5 (34:17):
I thought it was page too or fag I mean
fraggy yogurt.
Speaker 3 (34:26):
Look at the gig guy leading. Okay, I'm representing. Okay,
I didn't know what it was. It's f a g E.
I used to think it was. Someone did tell me
it was. It was pronounced pronounced bag once and I
was like, oh okay, interesting, interesting promotion and marketing. Okay,
so there's that.
Speaker 6 (34:46):
I thought we were getting pizza today. That's protein.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
Okay about that? Oh you did say during the the
the World Cup gamelet yesterday we should this is when
England was winning by the Yeah, yeah, we should celebrate
with pizza tomorrow. Well then they lost.
Speaker 5 (35:03):
I didn't order, but that's not what the celebration was.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
Well I didn't order pizza.
Speaker 6 (35:06):
The celebration was because Max got a clean bill of
health at the doctor, and I said, we should celebrate
with pizza.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
Don't try to guilt me over my dog.
Speaker 7 (35:15):
That's what she said.
Speaker 5 (35:16):
That was her response when you said Max got a
clean skin, she said, oh, we should celebrate with pizza.
Speaker 7 (35:20):
Yes she did.
Speaker 6 (35:21):
I swear I had nothing to do with.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
The England you know down.
Speaker 4 (35:25):
I didn't even know if they.
Speaker 6 (35:26):
Were playing yet.
Speaker 4 (35:27):
Were they yet? Thank you?
Speaker 3 (35:30):
So I went online. I went to Ruberosa on you know,
grub hub or whatever, and I was I had They're
in my basket right now, I'll show you belly though.
I had all these pizzas. There were like ten pizzas. Yeah,
this is well, we have a maximum order of And
had I ordered their maximum order, it would not it
would not have been enough for everyone because we eat.
Speaker 6 (35:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
And then the raccoon's from down the street that they
rolled through.
Speaker 10 (35:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (35:57):
So anyway, Oh there's a abby come here? Is there
someone bringing pizza in?
Speaker 6 (36:03):
No?
Speaker 4 (36:03):
Okay, well there we go.
Speaker 5 (36:06):
Not a ton of protein with pizza anyway, right, if
you're on a protein kick.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
I think a slice of pizza is well rounded as
far as nutrition me too. Hey, Abigail, good morning.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
Good morning.
Speaker 4 (36:16):
How was your right end today?
Speaker 1 (36:17):
It was good.
Speaker 4 (36:18):
Did you almost get hit by another car?
Speaker 3 (36:19):
No, thankfully the jar pickles almost fall on your head.
Speaker 5 (36:22):
No concussions, yeah, okay, vanishes.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
This is the stuff that happens to Abby.
Speaker 4 (36:26):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
So there's a big debate going on. There's a big
debate going on about the time change. You know, we've
it's been in the news lately, right Gandhi about how
Congress moved it through.
Speaker 5 (36:36):
Now, well, it's passed through the House. The House, the Senate,
I believe has to take it.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
So there is a debate here. Some people think, no,
they don't want they don't want it to change. They
want to us to move our clocks forward and backward.
You know, several times a year. Other people will say
not leave it alone, leave it the hell and then
Neigh brings up a good point in the debate. But
also depends on where you live on the continent. Yeah, sure, Yeah,
(37:03):
the farther east you are in your time zone, it's
going to get light earlier. But if you're in I
don't know, somewhere in western North Dakota, it might not
get light until ten thirty in the morning.
Speaker 5 (37:15):
Is it east west that makes a difference on North South?
Speaker 3 (37:19):
Well, I know, I know North south North south sun
rises North south is different too, correct, kind of it
gets light here first before Miami, but as far as
the time zone goes, that follows.
Speaker 4 (37:29):
East to west time zone thing. Okay, So the latest
sunrise in Florida would be around like eight thirty. It
was like eight to twenty eight was the latest that
could possibly rise. Yeah, and the sun crosses the continent.
There's some parts of a western part of a time
zone that it's going to be very dark late. But
my I don't know. Keep it the way it is.
I don't want to don't change clocks. Don't change clocks.
(37:52):
I don't want to change a clock ever. Again it is,
don't touch it.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
Okay, So you don't want to leave it the way
it is. You just want to leave your clock the
way it is because okay, okay, so abby in this poll?
Can we do? May we do an instagram poll at
Elvis Durant's show. Absolutely all right, I'm ripping this off.
Someone else is doing a pole. We'll rip them.
Speaker 4 (38:14):
There's off.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
There's morning Brew, which it's our favorite read every morning.
They have a poll. Okay, and here it is. Stand
by for their poll. Let me know if you're ready
for their poll.
Speaker 5 (38:27):
I'm ready anytime you're ready. I'm ready to hear.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
About I hear it is. Okay, here's their reader poll.
Do you want permanent daylight saving time?
Speaker 4 (38:36):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (38:37):
The first answer is yes, I want that later daylight
and no changing the clock. I want that later daylight
and no changing the clock. Or no, I don't want
the morning darkness and I'm willing to switch twice a year.
I wish it could be permanent standard time instead. Or
I don't care what they change as long as I
don't have to switch my clock. These are different things
(38:57):
you can different ways you can.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
Put makes it?
Speaker 5 (39:00):
Do you remember all that I'm going to go on
the morning brew.
Speaker 7 (39:03):
And can't we just wait? Yes?
Speaker 6 (39:06):
I want to spring forward. Yes I want to fall behind?
Or yes I want to stay this way?
Speaker 3 (39:11):
How about or never spring or fall? Do you want
to change your clock in October?
Speaker 4 (39:15):
Yes? Or no?
Speaker 1 (39:16):
No?
Speaker 9 (39:17):
Right?
Speaker 13 (39:17):
That means standard times, daylight, permanent daylight.
Speaker 11 (39:22):
I know?
Speaker 5 (39:22):
Am I the only one that does not care?
Speaker 7 (39:25):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (39:26):
You all care about this so much?
Speaker 13 (39:27):
Well?
Speaker 3 (39:27):
I care just because I need content for the show.
Speaker 6 (39:30):
I mean to be honest, I would rather be lighter
when we get up in the morning, like but you
know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (39:36):
But at the time you wake up, it's dark anyway.
Speaker 6 (39:39):
Yeah, no, but it's but it still gets a little
bit sometimes. I feel like when I'm driving in it's
still a little bit lighter, you know.
Speaker 3 (39:47):
So what do you want?
Speaker 4 (39:47):
How would you vote? So?
Speaker 1 (39:48):
I guess you want to change.
Speaker 6 (39:50):
I want to change the clock?
Speaker 2 (39:51):
Right?
Speaker 3 (39:51):
You want to keep it the way it is?
Speaker 4 (39:54):
Well?
Speaker 3 (39:54):
No, well yes, if you say anything else, you're going
to confuse everything.
Speaker 4 (39:58):
She wants to fall back and fall.
Speaker 5 (40:00):
Does she believe in a time change or not?
Speaker 6 (40:01):
That's it right, she wants permanent standard time.
Speaker 13 (40:04):
You want to go back to standard time in the fall?
Speaker 3 (40:06):
It's okay, okay, this is really making you want to
like I want to kick something. It has to be simple, Okay, yes,
I'll make it.
Speaker 4 (40:16):
Do you never want to.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
Change your clock or do you want to change your clock? Me?
Speaker 5 (40:19):
I don't want to change.
Speaker 3 (40:20):
I'm not asking you personal right, right, right, right, right,
This is the question. Okay, do you want to change
your clocks or do you not want.
Speaker 4 (40:27):
To change your clock? Okay?
Speaker 3 (40:29):
Then the time would be the time we're in right now. Okay,
see you're adding stuff.
Speaker 4 (40:35):
It's important.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
It's important because if you want it to permanently read
the time in winter, that's a different story. And if funny, Hell,
every time we have a conversation about the time change,
it's like, wait a minute, this is worse Daniel's cat
eating Remember that story? What we ate Daniel's cat?
Speaker 5 (40:53):
You were talking about the cat waking up at a
different time when the cat what?
Speaker 4 (40:58):
No, he messes up my dog, babies, a lot of things.
If this bill passes, do we never change them again?
Or do we go back to where it was and
we only change one more time? Okay?
Speaker 3 (41:11):
Well I don't know. Can now that game? It stays
exactly where you are.
Speaker 4 (41:15):
To Okay, okay, okay, that's fine. I'm just trying to understand.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
Okay, can we take a vote on how this can
easily be understood?
Speaker 15 (41:25):
Right now?
Speaker 5 (41:26):
I have written down do you want to change your clock?
Do you not want to change your clock?
Speaker 4 (41:29):
Okay? Pretty good?
Speaker 5 (41:31):
Does anyone actually change the clock anymore?
Speaker 1 (41:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (41:33):
I guess it's.
Speaker 4 (41:34):
More an oven at home?
Speaker 5 (41:38):
Do you not want the clock? I'm just trying to
think of how I could complicate it more.
Speaker 6 (41:42):
We wait, we could write, do you want it to
get lighter earlier? Do you want it to get darker later?
That's changing does affect it?
Speaker 3 (41:50):
But that's what affects it.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
It's too vague.
Speaker 5 (41:54):
Can we also have an I don't care button? I
don't care, I don't care about where I can do.
I can try, I'll I'll put it. I'll put something
there for the complete Hold.
Speaker 3 (42:03):
On a second, let's let's go to the peeps. Let's
go talk to Colleen. Hi, Colleen, Hi, I love Red Bank,
New Jersey. By the way, Oh me too.
Speaker 12 (42:12):
It's great.
Speaker 3 (42:12):
That's why you live there, so changing clocks. You enjoy
changing the clock? So why is that?
Speaker 14 (42:19):
Oh, it's like so fun. It's a holiday you get
twice a year. It changes everything up. So if you're
ever feeling scale in your life, it's like, oh wait,
I gotta get up an hour earlier. Now, it's exciting.
I'm a fan of fall back personally. I like when
it gets dark at four thirty. I don't know somethings
wrong with me.
Speaker 3 (42:36):
No no, no, no, no, that this is not a judgment.
That we're not judging.
Speaker 6 (42:40):
I do like the fall back because we get that
extra hour sleep.
Speaker 3 (42:43):
That's very nice, exactly, But they also say that extra
hours sleep. They're thing that when you change the clocks,
it messes everyone up. All right, so you enjoy you
call it. You think it's a holiday, is what you said.
Speaker 4 (42:55):
That's the way you're us.
Speaker 3 (42:57):
It's a celebration, time to celebrate the changing of the time.
Speaker 5 (43:00):
Okay, yeah, all right, yes, does this still impact the
farmers or not?
Speaker 4 (43:06):
Farmers don't care? Read about that?
Speaker 7 (43:08):
You don't care?
Speaker 3 (43:09):
Well, so I did, really I thought I read they
do care. It depends on it depends on where their
farmers located. Probably that. Okay, now you're agreeing with me,
Probably that. But the vast majority of farmers don't care.
And they did try this back in nineteen you were
live Elvis, nineteen seventy four.
Speaker 5 (43:23):
Goodness, do you see it on behalf of all farmers.
Speaker 3 (43:25):
No, they didn't stick with it. They got to October.
Are you speaking for the farmers? I'm speaking for farmers. Okay, seriously,
all right, Colleen, So you're saying your vote is keep
it the way the system is currently. You want to
change that clock twice a year?
Speaker 11 (43:42):
Wheah?
Speaker 14 (43:43):
I mean like Nate said, they tried it once and
everyone of rebells, So let's just we keep doing this.
Speaker 3 (43:49):
Let me clarify. In nineteen seventy four, they got to
October and they're like.
Speaker 4 (43:52):
Oh, even this change is terrible.
Speaker 3 (43:54):
We don't do change. Well, they didn't. They didn't try it,
they didn't.
Speaker 4 (43:58):
Go through it.
Speaker 3 (44:00):
