Speaker 2 (04:57):
Somebod war up so scary. How long was the Ariana's
contract last night? It was about two hours long. Started
just after eight o'clock, right, and you said she had
(05:18):
a couple of technical difficulties, but she just sailed right
through them with no problem.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (05:21):
Right after the opening video, she basically sat there for
like eight minutes behind a curtain waiting for the sound
to start.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
And it was uncomfortable for a while, but then it
got going. And then later in the show. A speaker
blew or.
Speaker 9 (05:34):
Something, so they had to everyone had to sing help
her sing her way through Eternal Sunshine, a keyboard song
from the middle.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
Of the stage.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
You know what, that sounds great. That sounds like a
great moment. I wonder if sometimes people like quote unquote
blow a speaker so the audience has to sing along
and help them out and feel great for them, went
on and all they did it on purpose.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
Genius stuff.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yeah, it is a viral moment.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
You know.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
There was a guy who used to host The Tonight
Show way before Jimmy Fallon. His name is Johnny Carson.
They say he would plant in his monologue every night.
He would he would plant mistakes or he would say
words incorrectly, that's what they said. I'm sure he just
didn't them. He just did them incorrectly anyway, But he
said he did them on purpose so he could get
away with it.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
That's what we do.
Speaker 5 (06:19):
We do all the time, for sure.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
That's right. All the bs on this show, it's all
planned planned to b suh. Do we have a first
caller of the day ready to go? Yes, it's John
and Dingman's fairy Pa. Of course, you're in Dingman's fairy Pa.
How you doing? John? Welcome to Tuesday. What's going on
with you?
Speaker 6 (06:37):
Good morning everyone.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
I'm standing on the beach in Point Pleasant. Oh oh,
and you're smoking your special pen. I guess so very special.
Do we lose John? What happened? He's on? John's on? John?
Speaker 6 (06:54):
John?
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Hi?
Speaker 6 (06:56):
Is his name?
Speaker 4 (06:56):
John?
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Okay, well we'll come back to John. We're having technical difficulties.
He is smoking a special pan obviously. So anyway, that
was a lot of fun. There's your first caller today.
Everyone loud, Hey you do? We're off too, sir, Yeah
we are. We really are. Mercury is Mercury and redtro
I think so, did you? Guys?
Speaker 10 (07:20):
See?
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Speaking of outer space, SpaceX shot twenty nine satellites into
outer space just about an hour ago.
Speaker 5 (07:26):
Oh crazy, that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Yeah, we need more space junk. And here it comes
with that said, let's get into the three things we
need to know? Gandhi, what's going on?
Speaker 1 (07:35):
All right?
Speaker 5 (07:36):
The sister of Lindsay Graham is expected to be sworn
in to fill his US Senate seat today after her
brother's unexpected death. South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster announced yesterday
that the late Republican senator's sister, Darlene, will serve in
the role until the term ends in January. We know
Lindsay Graham passed away over the weekend and are now
finding out that it was due to aortic dissection, which
(07:57):
is a terror in the body's main artery. He was
seventy one years parents are still awaiting answers after a
Mississippi college athlete's body was found on Horn Island last week.
If you haven't been keeping up with the story, it's
been quite controversial so far. No cause of death for
eighteen year old Nolan Wells, but based on differing reports
and some strange evidence, his mother says she doesn't believe
(08:17):
he drowned while swimming. Wells went to the island with
friends to celebrate the Fourth of July, but never came home.
His body was recovered last Monday, and finally, for the
ninth year in a row, Arlington, Virginia is ranked America's
fittest city. That is, according to the American College of
Sports Medicines American Fitness Index. It looks at physical activity, parks, trails, obesity,
(08:39):
chronic disease, and under other indicators coming in at number
two Washington, d C, followed by Minneapolis, Seattle and then
Denver and all the way at the bottom. Any guesses,
uh no, tell us Oklahoma City? Oh yeah, and those
are your three things?
Speaker 2 (08:55):
You guys ready for your Tuesday.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Yeah, let's go bizarre and unsettling.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
That's just so disturbing, like he used his mouth as
a weapon.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Press and Shine Elvis duran and the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
That's hilarious. A friend of ours who we love dearly. Yeah,
they went online to put up their baby registry. They
must have a lot of rich friends.
Speaker 5 (09:54):
Some wild stuff on here. I didn't even know babies
could cost this much.
Speaker 12 (09:57):
And from somebody who's had two babies. They don't wear
that stuff more than a couple of times, but they
grow out of it to spend that amount of money,
I know, like that.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Wow, can you say there's a one there's a onesie
that costs how much?
Speaker 5 (10:09):
Yeah, it's like a little zippy thing. Four hundred and fifty.
But there's a Deidre down set from Montclair. It's nine
hundred and thirty dollars.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
Oh, I mean, I mean you know this is if
you're to spend four hundred and fifty dollars for a
onesie and they only wear it once, that's what they
call it a onesie.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
Oh my god.
Speaker 9 (10:26):
There's a piggy bank on their registry for five hundred dollars.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Why give does it include five hundred dollars?
Speaker 4 (10:33):
Wow?
Speaker 5 (10:34):
You know the piggy bank is for it's for college fund,
so they all, yeah, it's a kickstart.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
It's just a graphic of a piggy bank.
Speaker 6 (10:41):
Probably, if you can afford a five hundred dollars a
piggy bank, you don't need a college fund. You're all set.
Speaker 5 (10:47):
Yeah, there is there's a baby bird cup that's nine
hundred and twenty dollars.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Okay, is it a cup shape like a baby bird
or do you feed baby birds? With a cup. Which
one is it? Anyway? We love them, you know what.
We have all sorts of friends and I love them all. Hey,
you know, I know it's not Thursday yet, Froggy for
Food News Thursday, but I'm reading today on the Morning Brew,
which I read every day. I know Guardian loves it too. Yeah. Uh,
(11:13):
Olive Garden's about to do their their pass their postives.
Speaker 6 (11:17):
There's a catch this year.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
What's the catch?
Speaker 6 (11:20):
Well, i'll tell you on Thursday during Food News.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Well I'm talking about it now. It's okay. By the
time we do Food News Thursday, Yeah, it's late in
the morning. These people, these same listeners won't be with us,
so we can talk about it now. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (11:33):
Yeah, I'm not sure exactly what the catch is, but
they said it was going to be different this year.
You're gonna have to do certain things to be able
to get it. They're making some changes to it because
in the past it sells out so fast. They want
more people to have the option to get it. But
it's going to have some changes made to it. But
they are doing it again to bringing it back.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
So just to remind you, the Olive Garden never ending
pasta pass it's the subscription plan. Uh, it's a limited
only for a limited number of patrons. I think ten
thousand people. Maybe I don't know. It's okay, listen to this.
It's thirteen weeks of unlimited pasta for one hundred dollars.
Speaker 5 (12:08):
Wow, that's a steal.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
Yeah, you could have unlimited something food wise for that long.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
What would you pick, basta?
Speaker 12 (12:19):
See, I've think I would pick like Nathan's hot dogs
or something like that, burgers or something.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Yase, not enough sodium for you, Danielle. So you put
on your Iheartcarbs T shirt, roll into your pasta pass
at one hundred dollars for thirteen weeks of unlimited pasta.
I mean it says here with four plates of chicken alfredo,
you're breaking even. They said they sold out twenty four
(12:48):
thousand passes in milliseconds last time they did this promotion.
Speaker 5 (12:50):
Wow, how can I afford this?
Speaker 2 (12:54):
Actually? I think business wise, Olive Garden has not been
doing as well as they used to. And they say
these subscription subscription plans bring in a lot of traffic
into the restaurant. It's a good thing for them. So
there you have it.
Speaker 5 (13:05):
Okay, when they say it's unlimited. Does that mean I
can sit there and eat four bowls and take one
to go? Or like, how does that work?
Speaker 2 (13:13):
I'll be there was a note to go order on
the last one. Okay, right, all right, Well we seem
very intrigued, don't we. Yeah, I'm sure by the time
Thursdays here, Froggy's Food News will give us all the
information about all this pass all the deats coming up.
Let's get into the horse gips. We had a request
(13:33):
for Froggy and straight Nate. Yeah, for the hawscopes. Get ready,
I can't wait. I cannot wait till Samantha gets back here.
Speaker 4 (13:44):
Let's go. What do you got?
Speaker 6 (13:45):

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
You know here it is is by Steel Day every
July fourteenth. In today's July fourteen, and we're talking about
back in the day when our studios were downtown in Tribeca,
Downtown Manhattan, over in West Broadway, they would close part
of the street down and they would celebrate by Steel Day.
Remember those days, guys, Oh yeah, it's so fun. There
was a restaurant there called Circle Rouge Suck out Rouge
(16:53):
if you want whatever, and we would get a table
for twenty of us and Big Daddy would buy French
lunch for everyone and we go out on the street
and they were playing games and they had stands with
drinks and it was just so much fun. They don't
do it anymore. But Steel Day just isn't one of
those overly hyped international, internationally recognized events here in the
(17:15):
United States for some reason.
Speaker 6 (17:17):
Not here. Yeah, I imagine France probably a pretty big no, no,
no no.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
They're celebrating right now that their parade is like hours deep.
It's going heavy. I'm watching that right now.
Speaker 12 (17:27):
And their World Cup game is today with Spain. So
can you imagine if they win that, what a celebration
are going to happen?
Speaker 2 (17:33):
That is going to be France and Spain. They're playing
down in Dallas or Arlington, whatever you want to call it.
In Dallas, it's going to be close to ninety degrees.
It's going to be a hot day down there. But
I think both of those teams are used to the heat,
so they'll be okay.
Speaker 12 (17:45):
Yeah, but you know they get those breaks, they get
those breaks hydration, the commercial breaks, yeah, the hydration breaks,
or they pour water on their budgets.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
Hey, question, where are we right now? As far as
World Cup?
Speaker 12 (17:57):
We have that game today, yeah, and then tomorrow, Oh
we have England and Argentina.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
And then on Sunday we have the finals. We have
whoever wins, you know, today and tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
Right, So we're going gone, guys, We're gonna be in
Central Park Sunday. It's gonna be right there on the
Great Lawn that they're expecting over fifty thousand people to
show up and watch the game. And I'm sure there's
gonna be some fun entertainment going on on stage, and
so I'm gonna be there. I don't have anyone going.
I mean, if you want to go, you need a ticket,
(18:29):
but they're totally free.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
Can go out to.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Sure, go to this website. They're totally free for everyone.
If you want to come, you know, sure, come down.
Go to global citizen dot org. That's all you gotta do.
Global citizen dot org. You'll see a little a link
for the watch party happening in Central Park this Sunday.
The weather they're saying, is there a chance to rain?
Speaker 3 (18:53):
But eh, that's all right.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
Hey, if we're gonna play something for Bestiel Day, shouldn't
we play best deal?
Speaker 5 (19:02):
This was a song by Bastille about a place in Italy.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
We exactly it's the song is called Pompeii, which is
not in French. You're right, it is in Italy. Is
Bastille from France? Do we even know about that?
Speaker 4 (19:18):
I don't think.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
So let's look that up.
Speaker 9 (19:20):
You know.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
If they're not from France, I'm not playing it. Oh
my god, association with you guys? Sorry there, Okay, let's
see this is versus. This is like on Hanukah. We
can't find any good Jewish songs. There's nothing, there's no good.
Do we have any French artists a loss on dance? Okay?
Do we have any popular ones?
Speaker 3 (19:43):
Oh my gosh, I don't help me out.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Okay. Anyway, while you're looking for something, uh, Gigi Gastino
that sounds Italian to me? Well the song whatever, it's
sort of French. Anyway. Danielle is at Q one or
two studios in Philadelphia. Tell everyone, why what's going on?
Speaker 1 (20:05):
So?
Speaker 12 (20:05):
Yeah, So my friends at the MLB invited me to
come down and be part of everything going on for
the weekend because it is the All Star weekend, while
it's kind of like All Star week So last night
we went to the home run derby, which was amazing,
and we got to sit in left field so we
were right underneath the scoreboard. There were balls flying at
(20:26):
our heads all different directions. Elvis, you would have loved
balls flying at your head.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
It was fabulous. That's heaven, that's right.
Speaker 12 (20:33):
And then tonight we are going to be going to
the All Star Game, and then we're gonna do a
lot of the cool things today, like we're gonna go
and watch the red carpet and see all of the
players come decked out. Tonight, we're gonna go and we're
gonna boo one soda. It's gonna be great. I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
So that's why she's in Philly.
Speaker 12 (20:50):
Yes, and I and everybody here at the at the studios.
Oh my gosh, everybody has been so wonderful. Cappuccino and
the family. Everybody's been great. So they're really really friendly here.
I love it in Philly.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
We love it.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Yeah, all right, they always roll out the Red Carpet
from pay Dougstino. Yeah, there you go the best part
of the song, at the very end. I love that.
That's a great song. And that's how we celebrate by
Steel today with Gigi Degastino. You know that we can
(21:23):
play Lady Marmalade, we can PLAYDF Punk dof Punk. I mean,
but that's about it. We gotta find some more. Let's
get in there. Why do you want to cut your
hair today? Gandhi, Oh, she needs.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
To cut it's it is very long, much longer than
I thought. It's like halfway down my back at this point,
and I love it. I'm very happy it's back, but
it's pulling my curls down a little too much. So
I just need some life.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
Yeah, gets unruly?
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Yeah, so I mean, is there a little bit of like,
oh no, I mean, you grow your hair out, it
looks so beautiful, but it's unruly. But when you cut it,
does it still kind of slice a little bit?
Speaker 5 (21:56):
You're like, for me, it does, because you know, I
have such a complicated relationship with my hair and I
have my whole life. And then I freaked out because
I lost so much of it. Then it all came
back more than ever. And now I'm like, oh, I
feel like cutting it is betraying my head.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
See, this is something all these guys in the room
don't understand. The conversation during the song there was God.
He said, Hey, Danielle, I guess I have to cut
a couple of inches off my hair today. And then Daniels, Oh, girl,
it'll be okay. Girl.
Speaker 12 (22:21):
It's you feel sometimes you feel lighter when you cut it.
You feel it's just I don't know, it just takes
off the dead ends and you feel a little lighter
for sure.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
But when it comes to augmenting your hair, it's a thing,
you know. And mainly women understand that.
Speaker 5 (22:37):
My sister got a hair cut yesterday and she was
pissed about it. She called me and was so upset.
I think it looks good, but she was not happy.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
If they sometimes you say, oh, take a little bit off,
and they take.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
A lot off.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
It grows back usually. Daniel Live from Q one O
two studios in Philly. What's going on with you?
Speaker 1 (22:53):
All right?
Speaker 12 (22:54):
Well, it looks like Taylor Swept and Travis Kelcey have
a new family member, a fluffy white so puppy. At
Christmas time, there was a rumor that Travis introduced a
dog to Taylor, and then all the Swifties were going
a little crazy.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
And now it is official.
Speaker 12 (23:09):
We have seen the little baby and he is adorable,
of course, but what puppy really isn't adorable?
Speaker 4 (23:14):
Right?
Speaker 12 (23:14):
I mean, come on, so your heated rivalry star Hudson
Williams confronted a group of autograph hounds in Paris. He
snatched one of the photos of him and he tried
to ignite it with a lighter.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
And he yelled at him.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
He said, you know what, you guys followed me.
Speaker 12 (23:29):
To my residence. You guys aren't fans, You're just being creepy.
So I think he thinks they're just trying to make
some money off of him and he is not doing it. Plus,
don't follow somebody to their house.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
That's just not cool.
Speaker 12 (23:40):
So yes, I am in Philly for All Star Week
for the Home Run Derby, and of course tonight is
the All Star Game. We're celebrating my son, Spencer's twenty
first birthday.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
Can you believe it? It's in a couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
He's gonna be twenty one, Yeah, and he's only eight.
Speaker 12 (23:57):
No, he's gonna be twenty one in a couple of
weeks and nically he's graduating college. How crazy is that
because in England it's just a three year program. That's insane.
I can't believe it. Anyway, So last night we were
here celebrating Jordan Walker. He won your home run derby.
It came to him and Kyle Schwarber, who is from Philly,
is a Philly guy. And let me tell you, when
(24:17):
he got up there, the.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
Place went nuts at Citizens Bank Park.
Speaker 12 (24:22):
So when he didn't win and Jordan won, everybody got
up out of their seats, booed and walked out. Okay,
but you know, congratulations to Jordan Walker because that was
pretty cool for him last night. And again tonight I'm
gonna go and I'm gonna boo the New York Mets
want so okay, so you're the worst.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Go this afternoon.
Speaker 12 (24:45):
The World Cup semifinals are happening between France and Spain.
And if you want to watch them more, if you
want to listen to them, iHeartRadio app. You can always
do it there. I don't know if you saw what
our boy, Erling Holland took home to Norway. Well, not
only did he take home her Maide, because you know
he has like the biggest collection of those bags. There's
tons of pictures of him with all different ones. But
(25:06):
he went home with a consolation prize, a stuffed taxidermy
raccoon Gandhi. I thought of you right away. If he's
carrying it on the plane, and I guess he's gonna
put it up in his house, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (25:20):
I prefer them to be alive.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
It's a little short. Well, his is not alive. His
is dead, I'll put it that way.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
Actually taking taxidermy on plane.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
No what with you?
Speaker 3 (25:31):
And yet he took it as a carry on under
his arm.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
He had it with him.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
But I'm guessing they flew private, right, I would think maybe.
I don't know.
Speaker 12 (25:39):
Anyway, let's talk about what people are taking away from
coming here and visiting for the world cup.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
Free refills is.
Speaker 5 (25:46):
Like the biggest thing.
Speaker 12 (25:48):
Everybody is so excited that in America we give free
refills for sodas and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
I didn't realize that doesn't happen everywhere. I had no idea.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
There are also things.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
There's something about that and thought us through as far
as refills go, we use less when we refill here
because in America we use a ton of ice. In
Europe they barely use any ie, so a refill actually
has value there.
Speaker 12 (26:11):
Okay, that makes sense. They're saying incredible stadiums. We have
the most beautiful, huge stadiums here. Everything is massive, the
buildings are massive. Also, everybody is represented. They said, it's like,
you know, like we say, a melting pot. Everywhere you go,
so many people are represented. The food is amazing, and
they said the people are really nice.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
So there you go. So what are we watching the
World Cup semifinals again?
Speaker 12 (26:34):
Like I said, France and Spain going at it today,
tomorrow England and Argentina.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
You have the MLB All Star Game happening tonight.
Speaker 12 (26:42):
You also have America's Got Talent Password and the third
season premiere of Quarterback over on Netflix.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
And that is my Danielle report.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
Hey tell everyone who you heard from about me watching
his special, his his Netflix series.
Speaker 12 (26:55):
Oh yes, yesterday we were talking about the what the
Harlan Coben.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
Harlan Coben, Well, what's the name of the show. I
forget the show?
Speaker 2 (27:04):
I Will find you, Thank you, I will find you.
Speaker 12 (27:05):
So yeah, we were talking about I Will Find you,
and then Harlan Coben, who brings us I will find
you found out that we were talking about him and
he got so excited.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
So we're actually gonna send him over the sound. You know,
we could have him on whenever you want.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
We do know you well, that show is it? I
think it's number one or close to number one on
Netflix right now.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Now it was not one. He's breaking records with that thing.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
Every one I know is beinging it. I'm not gonna
do it. I'm gonna I'm gonna savor each episode and
just take it one at a time. I know that's
weird from people, but I guess.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
I'm really If you make us laugh, you make us smile.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
This is Elvis in the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Join the Tunnel to Towers Foundation on its mission to
do good in honor of America's heroes. Donate eleven dollars
a month and amplify your impact with a car or
Land donation. Go to T two t dot org. That's
t the number two T dot org.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
When c one, This is Alvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Frog, I gotta ask a question. What you keep readjusting
some pillow under your butt? What are you doing. So
what's going on?
Speaker 6 (28:15):
I injured myself on July first. It was fourteen days ago,
two weeks ago. Tomorrow, I injured myself and I fell
and bruised my tailbow and pretty bad. And I can
walk and do everything else, I can't sit down at
to sit down on like one cheek or the other cheek.
But I'm sitting on some egg carton right now and
it's helping a little bit. But it's still very painful.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
You took the eggs out right, yes, okay, all right.
When it comes to falling on your cosis, that pain
lasts a long time for some reason. It's because of
where it's located. And I don't know, but I'm sure
your doctor told you the same thing. It takes a
while for that pain.
Speaker 6 (28:55):
They said it could take four weeks. They said it'll
take two weeks before it gets better at all, and
then between two and four weeks you'll start noticing. So
maybe tomorrow I'll start noticing some some relief.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Well, okay, hold everything, How did you fall on your ass?
What happened? All right?
Speaker 6 (29:12):
So here's what happened. Lisa wanted the air conditioning events
adjusted in the bedroom, and I did not feel like
going out to the garage to grab a ladder, so
I grabbed a barstool and as a barstool with the
back on it, So I went. I stood on the
barstools in socks, and I was standing on my tippy
toes trying to adjust the air conditioning event and I
finally got it adjusted properly. Well, right when I did,
(29:35):
my socks were starting to slide off the front of
the barstool. Two of the legs of the barstool and carpet.
The other two were on like hardwood. It slipped out
from under me and I went to jump in the air,
and when I went to jump to miss it, I
hit the back of it and it went right up
my crack and into the into my back. Oh God,
(29:55):
and a worse Yeah, yeah, I'll tell you. At first,
the first ten twenty seconds, my arms wouldn't move, my arms,
I was paralyzed. And then it slowly like came back
and I was able to like move. But yeah, it
was really, really scary, that's what terrible. Oh I shouldn't
have had socks on and a show.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
No, no, no, wearing slick socks on a bar stool
and it's halfway on the carpeting. No, there's no problems
happened there at all. But I fixed the air conditioning
at least. It's like, oh, it's so much cooler in
the bedroom. Now, that's great. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (30:31):
Oh, she was watching the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
So yeah, the air conditioning is great. But you're paralyzed. Okay,
move on.
Speaker 6 (30:38):
She would have had her cool, cool bedroom, that's all
that matters.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
Oh my gosh, I'm sure she would rather you not fall.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
Come on, I remember I had to do. I had
to reach up to to get something off a shelf whatever.
I remember. I did this contraption where I had a
stool and I put a chair on top of the stool.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
Yeah, and it looked like, you.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
Know, one of those weird circus moments, you know, and
the balancing act. And I got all the way up
there and I looked down and I panicked. I'll never
forget I broke out into this cold sweat, thinking I'm
gonna die.
Speaker 13 (31:12):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
It's the same as those people who climb empire state
buildings around the world or whatever and in New York
City and they look down and go, what have I done?
Speaker 4 (31:19):
What is this?
Speaker 6 (31:20):
It's like stool tetris, you're just putting all together, and
then once you get on the tide, you're like, hey,
I'm up here.
Speaker 5 (31:24):
Oh my gosh. So I'm little, So I hop up
on counters to get things like a cat because it's
just the easiest, easiest way to go. And my sister
made me promised not too long ago. She's like, can
you please just stop doing that, Stop getting on the counter,
get a stool like a human and get up there
and get your stuff.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
Hey, I was talking to Nait a second ago. He
says he was kept awake last night his neighbors playing
music loud, and he just didn't sleep well. And did
ever did everyone else sleep okay last night?
Speaker 4 (31:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (31:53):
Oh yeah? Can I tell you? And maybe maybe I'm crazy,
but maybe obviously I'm crazy. But has this ever happened
to you? You go to sleep and you kind of
fade away a little bit, but your mind is still
sort of wandering, and it takes you to a place
that just isn't real. For instance, this is what happened
to me two nights three nights ago. I heard a
(32:14):
noise like in the attic above my bedroom, and it
could be a squirrel, It could be who knows whatever.
But I started thinking, wow, I've read stories about people
who find people living in their attics. Yes, and so
I actually my mind took me to a space where
I was convinced there's a good chance or someone living
(32:37):
in the attic above my bedroom. So I went to
the little room that has the hats that goes up,
and I realized, well, hold on, it's not even a
pull down a ladder, but there is a shelf unit
next to it. So I started playing with the shelves.
Could someone stand on this? I was looking for, you know, footprints,
like sneaker prints on the shelves, because at that point
(32:58):
our minds go to this weird space when we're halfway awake,
halfway asleep, and you hear convinced that either someone's about
to break in with a knife because there's lightning and
thunder outside because that's how the movies are, or there's
someone living in my attic. I still am not convinced
whether or not there's someone up there. Have you ever
had these things?
Speaker 12 (33:18):
Oh my gosh, I feel like your anxiety too, is
like so much worse at night. So this is my
worst thing, and you might laugh at me, is if
the ceiling fan is spinning and it makes a weird noise.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
In the middle of the night. I'm like, yeah, I
think it's gonna like fly off of the ceiling and
fly across the room.
Speaker 4 (33:35):
It really off.
Speaker 12 (33:37):
Yeah, it's a malfunction. We're all gonna die from the
ceiling fan.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
Like that goes through my head.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
What it's crazy? What's wrong with me?
Speaker 2 (33:44):
Things are a magnified I think when we're half asleep
the GADDI does this not happen to you?
Speaker 5 (33:48):
Oh, of course it does. I have a crazy imagination.
That's why I can't watch scary movies. My ice maker.
I'm convinced that people coming in to kill me. But
if you were to find a person in the attic
when you were trying to look around.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
What would you do?
Speaker 2 (34:01):
I don't know. Well I do know, but I do
know what I would do.
Speaker 5 (34:05):
I don't investigate noises. I think that's a crazy thing.
People who investigate the noise, Like, we've seen enough scary movies.
Why are we investigating the ride? Get out of there,
hide under, do something you need.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
You need to prove yourself that either they're not there
or they are there. No, did I tell you about
the night a voice told me to get out of
the house. Story. No, I didn't, okay, it was three
in the morning, it was a weekend, and I swear
to god it was a I shot out of bed.
(34:36):
I went downstairs, got in my car and drove to
an all night you know gas station that has a
little you know, deli and everything. And I walked in there,
disheveled looking, and there's police in there, like, what's this
idiot doing in here at this hour? And I wanted
to tell them. A voice told me there was someone
in the house. I had to get out, so then
(34:56):
I had to return home, and I, of course I
checked under every bed. Every clause is yes, so stupid.
Speaker 5 (35:03):
No, it's not stupid at all. That is that if
I heard it get out of the house, I'd have
to burn it down.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
I kid you not. It was as loud as loud
could be, Daniel, Did any voice ever till you get that?
Speaker 4 (35:14):
Uh? Yes.
Speaker 12 (35:14):
When I was a kid with my brother Roy, we
were playing in the basement and he was throwing a
ball up against the wall in the basement and we
heard a voice that said stop that.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
And we don't know who it was. It wasn't our parents.
We ran up those stairs so fast and we still
talk about that story.
Speaker 12 (35:35):
There was a person in your attic, yes, well we
think somebody. There was a rumor that someone had possibly
passed away in the house. We don't know if it's official,
but this was in the Bronx back in the day.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
I don't know what it was.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Creepy, I mean anything, Danielle. They're dad, were trying to
sleep and you're bouncing a ball off the way.
Speaker 3 (35:50):
You know, there is that trying to sleep when you're dead.
Speaker 9 (35:54):
This is exactly why I'm always gonna have live in
an apartment, because I have this fear of being alone
in a giant house with several floors, maybe a tool
shed out back, a garage, an attic. I don't want
any of that in my life. A toolshit, I cannot
live with a tool shut out back. No, I just
want to live on one floor. I'm happy with just
(36:15):
a couple of rooms. This way, I know everything's in proximity.
And I think it's a fear of what of all
of what you just talked about.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
I feel like the reasons.
Speaker 5 (36:23):
I'm like, if I scream, so at least someone will
hear it, right, right, the.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
People around me. You know, there's some of the people
do get murdered in their apartment building. But it is
a false sense of security. No I get I feel
more secure in an apartment building as well. Uh, Froggy,
what about you?
Speaker 6 (36:41):
It happens at least once a week. Lisa will wake
me up in the middle of the night and go,
did you hear that? And I'm like, no, I was sleeping,
and she's like, I heard it. This is what it
sounded like. I think it was outside. You should probably
go look. I'm not going I'm not I didn't hear anything.
I'm not going to look at any If you're so
convinced that's what it is, you take a look.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
At you let me know what it is.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
And why don't we always go with a baseball bat, Like,
what are we gonna do with the big well?
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Now, maybe you're gonna play a game of baseball with.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
All I do know is life is frightening when you're
halfway asleep. I think that that is that that place
you go to is just it's no man's land. Yeah,
I don't get it, all right, Scary does not want
to live on a house for a tool shed. We've learned.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
I feel you.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Let's get into the three things we need to know.
We do a thousand dollars free money phone tap on
the way? All right, Gandhi, what's going on?
Speaker 5 (37:35):
All right? Iran is being hit by a round of
US military strikes for the third consecutive night. US Central
Command says the strikes were at the direction of President
Trump and will continue to degrade Iran's ability ability to
attack innocent civilians and commercial shipping in the Strait of
war moves. This comes after Trump said he's reinstating the
blockade of the street in a post on truth Social
Trump said the waterway is open and they are only
(37:56):
stopping Iron's ships and customers from entering or leaving. A
lawsuit demanding that social media companies pay for student mental
health services is being filed by school districts nationwide. More
than one thousand districts argue that social media platforms actually
harm students' mental health and force schools to spend more
on counseling and support. Districts are saying that they've also
(38:18):
had to increase training to address rising student anxiety and depression,
all linked to social media use, and finally, this is interesting.
Chipotle Mexican Grill is getting set to open its first
restaurant in Mexico. Doors will open Thursday in Nuevo Leon
in partnership with Alca Alsee, a leading restaurant operator in
(38:39):
Latin America and Europe. Chipotle CEO Scott boat Right says
that they're entering the country with deep respect for the
culinary heritage, along with the belief that there's a strong
interest in high quality food that the establishment offers. Chipotle
and Alca are planning to expand into Nuevo Leon later
this year and into Mexico City by twenty twenty seven.
The company currently operates more than forty one hundred restaurants
(39:00):
across the world, but the first now in Mexico. For
the Mexican girl, and those are your three things.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
That is interesting. I have many friends who are of
Mexican descent and they have access to the best Mexican
food in the world, especially from their family. They love
going to Taco Bell But to them, that is not
Mexican food. It's it's the same as opening an olive
garden in Italy. I guess, I don't know. They become
obsessed over a food that's not really theirs, but it's
(39:27):
sort of but not really. Yeah anyway, Hey, yeah, the
thousand dollars free money phone tap coming up in about
fifteen minutes. Hang on, I'm sorry. Was that funny?
Speaker 1 (39:35):
Elvis Dan in the Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (39:42):
You don't how much I make up every day? Yeah,
that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
Oh what a danger Elvis ter Ran and the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (39:51):
Wow, look at that beautiful day heading in to the nineties,
upper nineties heat wave hitting the Eastern Seaboard as they
call it. And I was reading the study today about
social media and a new survey, Whether you believe or not,
this survey says it's something to think about. More than
(40:11):
half of Americans think keeping up their online presence feels
more like work than fun. Yeah, a lot of people,
and it's trending in that direction. A lot of these people.
They are saying, you used to just love posting things
because it was a lot of fun. And now they're saying.
Half of these people are saying they're posting less than
they did five years ago, and they're being much more
(40:32):
selective about what they share. So it made me go,
look at my Instagram, and I don't post anywhere near
close to what I used to post.
Speaker 5 (40:42):
What was the last thing you posted?
Speaker 4 (40:43):
You know?
Speaker 2 (40:44):
Uh, okay, let's go there, now, come with me. Okay,
it was me in the Athens airport coming from vacation.
I posted five photos from two weeks of vacation, and
most of them are on the same day. They're saying
that the I guest reasons people are pulling back on
social media are political arguments, endless doom scrolling, and concerns
(41:07):
about privacy.
Speaker 5 (41:09):
Yeah, makes sense, I mean, and with everything that's going
on now we know how much these companies are buying
your data selling your data.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
Now.
Speaker 5 (41:17):
You know, Meta had that whole issue with their muse
feature where they were just going to let people use
you if you were a public profile and hadn't had
your settings set the right way. I mean, I get it.
It seems like a better idea to not.
Speaker 2 (41:28):
Be part of all this, or at least limit and
be selective. I guess, you know, I don't know. It's okay,
so you post something. Let's say I'm sitting on a
beach on vacation. What's the point. Okay, there's got to
be a point. I'm actually taking time out of my
day to post a photo of me on a beach.
Why what what am I doing?
Speaker 3 (41:50):
You're sharing your life and sharing where you are and
what you're doing.
Speaker 2 (41:54):
I am, but okay, let's go further. Why am I
doing that? Why do I need to do that?
Speaker 3 (41:59):
You don't need to do it.
Speaker 5 (42:01):
I do think that fame is the most deadly drug
known to man, and so many people like attention, and
all of these are ways to get attention and have
people compliment you or talk about you, or you know,
just stay on people's minds.
Speaker 2 (42:15):
That's that's definitely probably one of the main reasons people
do it. Ya, I'm asking because I don't know. Yeah,
but I would used to post a lot because it's
just scene like the thing to do because everyone else
is doing it. I don't know, is that a reason
to post because everyone else is doing it. Let's go
to the chief poster.
Speaker 9 (42:34):
I post because I want to share my experience and
I'm so excited in a moment. A lot of people
post because they're bragging. I don't post the brag. For instance,
last night at the concert. If you go to my
story right now, it's all Ariana Grande on my feed.
But it's because I had a really great shot of her,
and I was up close, and I'm like, look at this,
I'm bringing the concert to these people.
Speaker 2 (42:56):
So you're like, you're reporting from the concert as if
you're low.
Speaker 14 (43:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (43:02):
Yes, and people want to see her outfits and stuff. However,
the dude in front of me, he had two phones going.
He was filming the show with one phone and the
other phone he had a second phone who was facing
him with the light on, which was shining back in
my face.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
Oh for reaction.
Speaker 9 (43:19):
Oh yes, And so now this guy's gonna go home
and cut the two things and stitch them together. And okay,
and so that thing he's making that, unless he's getting
paid to do it, that's very time consuming.
Speaker 2 (43:31):
No, speaking of being paid to do it, Alex is
doing this thing where he gets paid for Instagram posts,
and what.
Speaker 3 (43:38):
Are you doing a lot of people do that.
Speaker 13 (43:40):
Now.
Speaker 2 (43:40):
I didn't even know you could do that. Yeah, I
mean I knew you could sell to you know, to
clients and things like that. I get that. But if
you just sign up for this thing on Instagram, he said,
the other day he posted a photo of us at lunch.
He made like nineteen cents.
Speaker 5 (43:53):
Yeah, wow, Okay, they sell your messages telling you, hey,
your post got this many views, you can be making money.
Do you want to do it? I have not done
it because I don't trust metal with my bank information.
Speaker 2 (44:04):
Okay, okay, So if you're making money of posting things,
all right, there's a reason why. Yeah, if you really
enjoy doing that.
Speaker 12 (44:13):
Yeah, because some people give a code, like you know,
use code whatever, and then you know they get a
percentage of whatever they sell.
Speaker 2 (44:19):
That's a different though, that's retail thing. Yeah, that's that's
a different way of making money. And yeah, Nate, I
just assume pretty much every post I see now is
monetized in some fashion, right, Like if I'm looking, if
I see a girl with boobs, and and she's there
and she's showing her boobs, and then in the background
there's a little lipstick, I'm like, okay, this is obviously
(44:40):
she's getting paid for this, but I'm looking at the boobs.
You know, I just assume pretty much everything.
Speaker 3 (44:46):
Do you think she got those boobs for free?
Speaker 6 (44:50):
Paid for them?
Speaker 2 (44:50):
But like, don't you feel like pretty much everything in
your feed is sponsored in some way shape?
Speaker 3 (44:56):
It's a lot.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
Yeah, well not in mine. I'm not making Elvis gets
some boobs and put some lipstick in the back.
Speaker 12 (45:03):
Not what you were putting out there, Elvis, but everything
you see, like there's so many things like sometimes like
I want to buy something or want to do something
that I look at it and I go yeah, But
are they just saying this because they got paid for
it or is it really good?
Speaker 2 (45:16):
It's hard to believe reviews.
Speaker 6 (45:17):
Do you believe the review?
Speaker 1 (45:18):
Is that right?
Speaker 2 (45:19):
I'll give you an example. We were staying at this
resort in Greece and there was an actor there. She
was there with her family, and I love her by
the way that she's extremely talented. She's got hits going
on right now. She was posting from the from the
resort and she was tagging them. She held up a
bag from their retail store with the name of the
resort on it, right, And so I'm always she getting
(45:43):
a free room. Maybe she doesn't. She's she's very, very,
very successful. She can't get any room in the world
on her own.
Speaker 4 (45:51):
You know.
Speaker 2 (45:53):
And we saw them. We saw them at lunch one
day a by the pool. I wanted to go say hi,
but I was like, nah, I don't want to bother.
She was there with her family. They look they're having
a good time but okay, but she was definitely tagging them.
I mean, if I'm staying at a hotel somewhere, I
don't want to tag where I am.
Speaker 3 (46:08):
I don't it's after, yeah, do it after.
Speaker 2 (46:12):
I mean, it's not strangers, it's people.
Speaker 4 (46:14):
I know.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
I don't want showing up. What were you saying, Gandhi?
Speaker 5 (46:17):
No, you know, I just took an amazing Norwegian cruise.
I will be posting that for many reasons. They're a
partner of ours. They they'll take care of it. I'm
gonna do that. I think one of the biggest shifts
with Instagram, at least for me, because we were all
around when it first started. It used to be what
life was actually like in the moment, and now it's
become what everybody wants you to think their life is like,
(46:38):
and it's so curated and just not real anymore. And
I think that that's what's fatiguing about all of it.
Speaker 12 (46:43):
Yeah, have you ever seen those pictures of families and
they were like, right when we took the picture, and
the family's like hi, they're all smiling, and then they
go right after the picture and they're all fighting with
each other again.
Speaker 3 (46:55):
Each other.
Speaker 2 (46:56):
Well, you know, I think we've all seen enough of
that example, Danielle, where you don't really trust all the
smiles that you see now now. But anyway, but it
goes back to what Scary says I said earlier. I'm
so excited I want to share it with the world
with people you don't even know. You're excited to share
it with people you don't even know? Is that a
weird thought?
Speaker 9 (47:14):
That's one hundred and eighty one thousand of my fans
on Instagram. I'm like, you know what, I'm gonna give
whatever you call them, they're followers, so I'm like, I
want to give them something cool because it's a stand you,
they stand you. It's a mundane money, it's a mundane
Monday night.
Speaker 3 (47:28):
But scary.
Speaker 5 (47:29):
If you hadn't had the good seats that you had,
which you did tell us, would you have posted No,
the same thing.
Speaker 9 (47:34):
No, because I'm not I'm not going to post a
garbage shot. I mean, why should I care? I would
not post.
Speaker 2 (47:39):
Hold on? Hold on, are you telling me that you
you weren't a little proud to show how great your
seats were at the Ariana Gronde concert A little bit, Yes,
of course, I mean maybe no, no, let's let's be honest.
But but but the really thing that you answered that
you didn't you didn't answer my question. Let's put it
(48:01):
this way if I can. Okay, it's a yes or
no question.
Speaker 5 (48:04):
Scary. Do you know a picture when you are in
like you know, premium economy or economy plus. When you're
on a plane, you probably don't. But if you're in
first class or if you're on a private plane, I've
seen you post those.
Speaker 3 (48:15):
See Now I would do the opposite.
Speaker 12 (48:17):
I would do the opposite because I don't want people
being like you're so bojane.
Speaker 3 (48:21):
Look at you on your private plane.
Speaker 1 (48:23):
Like here, I am an economy.
Speaker 3 (48:24):
That's what I want people to see. You know, I'm
living your life. I am living your life.
Speaker 2 (48:29):
Isn't it funny how some celebrities will jump on a
part private plane just to take a photo. There you
go down to the Southwest terminal. But now Danielle is
saying a shift, it's the opposite. Yes, before you get
on your your private jet, you gotta run over to
Southwest and take a photo jet.
Speaker 3 (48:48):
Here I having a regular lounge.
Speaker 6 (48:53):
How do you use a role bathroom?
Speaker 2 (48:54):
Okay, so this is This is my point. This is
why lesson Americans, according to this study, are posting, because
maybe they're starting to understand that the importance of the
post isn't as high as they.
Speaker 4 (49:09):
Used to think.
Speaker 5 (49:10):
Yeah, it's all garbage.
Speaker 2 (49:11):
Yeah, well that said, We've got one thousand dollars free
money phone tap all the way, take that money upgrading
the first class.
Speaker 11 (49:19):

Speaker 1 (49:42):
The free money phone Tap.
Speaker 2 (49:44):
You know, we were talking about the importance of chewing
gum yesterday. This is something we don't talk about a
lot on our show, but it so happens. We're about
to get into the thousand dollars free money phone tap
and you want a thousand dollars thanks to our friends
at five Gum. What was it you said about chewing
gum gandhi oh.
Speaker 5 (50:00):
It increases your ability to retain information. So if you're
trying to learn something, you should be chewing gum while
you do it because it helps the blood flow and
oxygen get to your brain and it's important.
Speaker 2 (50:14):
And I also read that it's great to chew gum
right before you're about to do something very important or
something that's stressful.
Speaker 5 (50:23):
I could see that.
Speaker 3 (50:24):
And it's good for your breath if you do a
little minty one there's that chew okay.
Speaker 2 (50:29):
Chewing gum after meals stimulates saliva flow, which washes away food,
neutralizes cavity causing acids, and helps prevent toot decay. It
also boosts alertness and memory by increasing blood flow to
the brain because you're like right, and can reduce stress
and curb cravings for weight management or maybe if you're
a smoker. Look at that, you thought we're just gonna
(50:54):
talk about five gum, Well five gum. You could just
chew it because it's refreshing and it wakes you up.
They have these incredible four flavors that we were standing by.
But it also does all this other stuff. You get
that little spark of spearmint and the winter mint, the
watermelon flavor, especially summertime it's watermelon season.
Speaker 4 (51:12):
Hello.
Speaker 2 (51:13):
Yeah, So if you need just a little something just
to help you break through the day, I say to
a piece of five gum, and thanks to five gum,
here comes one thousand dollars. It's all yours. It's a
thousand dollars free money. Phone tap be called a one
hundred right now with diamond on her phone in there,
call her at eight hundred two four to two zero
one hundred, don't answer the phone.
Speaker 1 (51:30):
Elvis Duran, the Elvis durand phone tab.
Speaker 2 (51:33):
Of all the years we've done phone tabs, some of
my favorites have been these phone taps where we actually
record someone talking and we play them back to them
and they don't even realize it's them talking to them.
Does that make sense? Scary as a new one, what's
it all about? Scary?
Speaker 9 (51:48):
So a twist on that Tara wanted a phone tap
her husband, Preston. Now, Preston has been anxious to resolve
this credit card issue he's been having. So Kara's thought,
I should pretend to be the credit card company at first,
but really I'm playing the can you hear me?
Speaker 4 (52:02):
Scam?
Speaker 2 (52:02):
That's been going around and hitting America. Okay, here we go.
It's the can you hear me scam that's hitting America? Yes,
in today's phone tap here, let's listen in part one. Hello,

Speaker 2 (52:27):
Does this volume work for you?
Speaker 10 (52:29):

Speaker 15 (52:29):

Speaker 2 (52:31):
May I double the volume?
Speaker 1 (52:33):

Speaker 6 (52:34):

his wife called him back a half hour later, and
let's see what happens.
Speaker 15 (53:36):
Well, Preston, I just got this really creepy phone call
giving me your voice that says you have just ordered

Speaker 6 (53:49):

Speaker 1 (53:52):

That's quite all right, Is it okay?
Speaker 4 (54:28):
If I take three thousand dollars out of your account
and transfer it to wire transfer services?
Speaker 2 (54:32):
Yeah, that works for me.
Speaker 4 (54:33):
I also understand you have a three thousand dollars television
from US Maxim on back order. Do I have your
permission to send the television to US but charge your card?
Speaker 2 (54:41):
Yes, you have my permission, go ahead.
Speaker 4 (54:43):
Maybe you'd like to order two televisions.
Speaker 1 (54:45):
Yes, I do double the volume.
Speaker 4 (54:47):

Speaker 1 (54:49):

I'll take the shock in rather than calling someone of Karen,
call him in Elvis. I'm okay with that. I'm going
to absorb. I'm going to absorb the hatred.
Speaker 4 (56:48):
Karen.
Speaker 2 (56:48):
Good news for you. You're the luckiest Karen in the world.

Speaker 2 (01:00:30):
Hey, I know it's not food News Thursday, but Froggy,
there's a big story today. The big headline today is
it is National Macaroni and Cheese day. Yeah, how do
you like your Do you like it baked? Or you
like it stove top? Anon, stove top? You like the
craft with the orange powders?
Speaker 6 (01:00:50):
Yeah, no, I like the real cheat that cheese packet
you squeeze out when you get to the bottom and
goes like oh yeah, yes, yes, yes, I like it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
I like it and I like it crunchy around the top,
So any of those crunchy pieces anyway, So I implore
you please find a place that has mac and cheese
for your lunch today. Uh wow, Deanna Banana. So Deanna,
of course is everything everything video with our show and beyond.
It's because of Deanna, and today's your last day well
for a while, right, tell her them what you're doing. Yeah,
(01:01:21):
it's my bachelorette trip. I'm leaving tomorrow to go to
key West. Exciting. Yes, I love key West. Make sure
you stop by Sloppy Joe's.
Speaker 6 (01:01:32):
Sounds good.
Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
I love it key I haven't been. I haven't been
to Key West in a long time. Has anyone else
been in a while?
Speaker 6 (01:01:40):
It's great?
Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
Yeah, cool in a while? When's least of me were there?
Six years ago? I went and I was barefoot in
the sand and it was fun. Well, there's a lot
of barefoot people in Key West. Oh yeah, there's a
lot of leathery skin. So we brought this up in
the room a second ago Deanna and we said, oh
my god, Diana's her last day before she goes out
on her bachelorette already and the countdowns onto the wedding
(01:02:01):
and everything, and uh, Scary says, that'll be great. That's
a great place for Deiana to go because that's really
her kind of people.
Speaker 9 (01:02:10):
What I just feel like, if you're going on a
bachelor a bachelorette party, it should fit your personality.
Speaker 5 (01:02:18):
And and so so she's trashy, leather yeah, hello.
Speaker 9 (01:02:22):
I just so yeah, the Margaritaville down there, the Jimmy
Buffett like listen, wearing nothing but T shirts.
Speaker 2 (01:02:30):
And like like, you know, your flip flops. That's that's
kind of you. You're you're with your element, you know, you.
Speaker 6 (01:02:37):
Carry You said it right after I said, man, that's
a lot of leather skin and dirty bear feet, and
you're like, yes, that's exactly where Deanna should go.
Speaker 5 (01:02:49):
He said, I don't mean this to be offensive, but
that's perfect.
Speaker 9 (01:02:53):
I just feel like you strike me as either like
there or like Nashville, Like that's like you like I,
I don't see you going Miami.
Speaker 2 (01:03:03):
You we we were specifically talked about how Key West
does attract a certain element. By the way, I love
going to Key West. It's it's fantastic, it's relaxed. It's
so relaxed that scary feels like you're like that relaxed
kind of person. I feel like there's no shoes in
leathery skin, and I don't know, it's also giving, Like
(01:03:24):
do you think I'm like slutty?
Speaker 4 (01:03:25):
I don't know. No, no, not at all.
Speaker 2 (01:03:27):
No, I just I just don't. You're not like a
Hampton's person. You're not a You're not a Miami girl.
Speaker 4 (01:03:33):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
You're more like, let's just hang out because you know,
you know, Key West is so relaxed. It keeps going Florida,
you know, but like it's the it's the East. You know,
it's the East. It's the It's not East. You're not
You're not a South Beach Cheeica. You know, you're more
of you girls are gonna get down. You're gonna get
down and dirty.
Speaker 9 (01:03:53):
You're gonna have my cheap drinks and shots and everyone's
gonna have a blast, and I think you're gonna have
the time of your life, you know, like, do you
have any friends with tramp stamps like that?
Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
Maybe we went last this weekend.
Speaker 1 (01:04:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 12 (01:04:10):
Scari Are you saying the places that you go to,
like the more expensive hotels and stuff, Deanna wouldn't be
going there.
Speaker 2 (01:04:18):
Yeah, I run, you know me. I go everywhere high low,
It doesn't matter. But you're saying the Key West is
low is what you're saying.
Speaker 3 (01:04:25):
Yeah, that's what you're saying, which is perfect for Dianna.
Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
But back but back it up with no offense, with
all due respect. I just don't see you're staying in
like a five star hotel. You're more of like a
winshiple shot kind of girl.
Speaker 9 (01:04:40):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
Tax brackets also scary you.
Speaker 9 (01:04:45):
And I.
Speaker 2 (01:04:47):
I don't in the best way possible. Okay, Well guess
what you're The best way possible for me is all
the great money.
Speaker 5 (01:04:56):
It's not equal class and Deanna is classy and scary.
I don't even know what will call you, Danna.
Speaker 2 (01:05:01):
Let me just say I love Key West. It's it's beautiful,
it's it's it's a lot of fun. It is very relaxed,
and that's what is appealing to me and a lot
of people. When you want that kind of place relaxed,
that's where you go. People are cool. It's like live
and let live in Key West. You know. Look, I
love it and I think it's a perfect place for
(01:05:22):
everyone to go, except for Scary.
Speaker 5 (01:05:24):
Right yeah, I mean him from Key West.
Speaker 6 (01:05:28):
He just did.
Speaker 9 (01:05:29):
I'll give you a great brunch spots as well, but
you're not having a five star dinner. You know, You're
not having like a bougie brunch. You know, a boozy brunch, yes,
but like not bouge Scary.
Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
You know, there there are some very very excellent restaurants
in Key West, and there's like use your hands to eat.
They don't have forks and knives at those restaurants. Giving
of which, I know how you feel about the QR
code that we share for like buy the drink by
(01:05:58):
the bride and drink do you think.
Speaker 5 (01:06:00):
That also if I share that also adds to my
trash Marie.
Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
I want to do it for you too that right now, Dana,
I would happily buy you a cocktail, Okay, I just
like this.
Speaker 5 (01:06:17):
Scary is like, you know, people travel to you know,
like places like them, which just makes me wonder when
you go around the room, where should all of us
be traveling?
Speaker 2 (01:06:25):
I mean, give me some time, I'll write a look
that I don't want it. Let's I don't want to
go down that exercise. Thank you for your suggestions. Kandhi
like you wouldn't have a good time.
Speaker 9 (01:06:34):
You would not have a good time if you guys
went to like, uh, you know, Sanchope or something.
Speaker 13 (01:06:39):
I do like it.
Speaker 2 (01:06:42):
I think she would have a great time in Central Beautiful. Yeah,
all right, we're going to move on now.
Speaker 4 (01:06:47):
But thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:06:48):
So have a wonderful time at Key West down there.
The words of Scary have a white trashing.
Speaker 3 (01:06:55):
Time, Gary throwing one hundred dollars or something.
Speaker 1 (01:06:58):
Lot of time.
Speaker 4 (01:06:59):
You know.
Speaker 13 (01:06:59):
I'm good on.
Speaker 4 (01:07:02):
You.
Speaker 2 (01:07:02):
I love the texts that are coming through. I sort
of get what Scary is saying. The next text he's
actually like a douchebag. What's that?
Speaker 6 (01:07:08):
What's wrong with him?
Speaker 2 (01:07:09):
I'm just speaking my.
Speaker 6 (01:07:10):
Truth, of course you are.
Speaker 2 (01:07:12):
That's exactly what you're doing. We appreciate you speaking your truth.
Look at Nate over there about to pass out, laughing
you constantly. You you're like human emoji is somebody putting
their foot their mouth.
Speaker 6 (01:07:24):
That is scary.
Speaker 9 (01:07:25):
No, it's not from brook. I say what I mean,
I know what I say apologetically mean.
Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
Okay, all right, okay, we're moving on now. Okay, I
have spoken. Dianna.
Speaker 4 (01:07:37):
We love you.
Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
Have a wonderful time in key West. Thanks, watch, I
will not be don't we try to beat trash a.
I love Key West. You know what when it's when
it we're closer to winter, I'm heading on down. I'm
gonna go on the Deanna the Deanna Tour perfect. I'm
(01:08:01):
going to key West. All right, let's move on, shall we.
Let's go to Let's go around the road. I think
Scary's pretty much told us what's on his mind today.
I got, uh, yeah, you do? What about you? Beautiful,
beautiful Danielle and gorgeous Philadelphia at Q one O two
studios getting ready for it. Hey tell her one while
(01:08:22):
you're there again.
Speaker 12 (01:08:23):
So we're here for All Star week All Star weekend.
Last night was the home Run Derby and it was
at Citizens Bank Park where the Phillies play, which was amazing.
And then tonight the All Star Game, celebrating actually an
early twenty first birthday for my son Spencer. So our
friends at MLB were kind enough to give me tickets
for these events and it has been absolutely fabulous. I
(01:08:43):
just want to say thank you to everybody here in
Philly that has been taking such good care of me. Honestly,
I walked through the door this morning and it was like,
juny coffee, can we get you this?
Speaker 3 (01:08:53):
Can you do?
Speaker 12 (01:08:53):
Here's the bathroom, here's I mean, the nicest people ever.
So thank you, thank you, thank you. I mean I'll
say my thank you again tomorrow after I leave here.
But gosh, it is the city of brotherly love.
Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
They're lovely people. Don't get used to it. You got
to come home eventually.
Speaker 3 (01:09:07):
I think I might stay here for a while.
Speaker 2 (01:09:09):
Okay, thank Gandhi, what's going on with you?
Speaker 5 (01:09:12):
Well, we know that there's a heat wave coming to
the northeast and it is going to be intense. We
were talking about how Philly's going to hit triple digits.
So Danielle, prepare yourself. Yeah, that means a lot, not
just for you. Please keep your pets in mind. If
you have animals that are outside, take care of them,
give them water, bring them inside because animals can get
burnt just like people can and you could get burnt. Kids, adults,
(01:09:32):
Everybody pay attention to what's going on right now because
it could be really, really bad if you don't take
it seriously.
Speaker 2 (01:09:38):
Thank you for that public service. Hey Froggy, what's up
with you today?
Speaker 6 (01:09:43):
You know not that Danielle needs proof of how much
my wife loves her, But I want to make something
very clear. I have lived in towns where the Major
League Baseball team was in a run for the World
Series and actually won that World Series. And I have
known Lisa for thirty years, and we were together during
the Sami so So Mark Maguire home run chase years ago.
(01:10:03):
Lisa's never watched one ounce of baseball in her whole life.
Last night she watched the entire home run derby looking
for Danielle and her family. I have never seen my
wife watch baseball ever, but she will watch it to
look for Danielle.
Speaker 1 (01:10:18):
Danielle.
Speaker 6 (01:10:19):
That's the effect. She's also watching soccer in World Cup
and pulling for England only because of Danielle. Whatever you're doing, Danielle,
you're doing it right with Lisa.
Speaker 2 (01:10:29):
That's a tribute to you.
Speaker 3 (01:10:31):
It is Lisa is you know one of my best
friends in the entire world.
Speaker 9 (01:10:35):
I love her all right, scary, I don't know, man,
I think I'm in love with this cold Stone Oreo
Reese's Cookies and peanut butter ice cream taco that they have,
did you, guys?
Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
Sounds awesome?
Speaker 4 (01:10:49):
Good?
Speaker 9 (01:10:49):
What a collapse and they have to get all these
companies to come together to do it. I gotta go
in there and get it. I'm not using the guy
to stop by for ice cream, you know, in a
place like that, because if you know I, I'll eat
the whole place. But this is something that looks so
special and decadent, and I can't wait to get my
hands on one.
Speaker 2 (01:11:05):
I don't know who's tried it yet. You should grab
one today. I'm gonna here on Mac and Cheese Day,
the Meccan Cheese ice creaming. Hey, what about you, straight Nate?
What are you thinking about? Okay, if you've lived in
an apartment building or currently live in an apartment, here's
a question.
Speaker 6 (01:11:21):
What is quiet time?
Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
At what point do you expect it to be quiet
and not play music or or or be loud?
Speaker 6 (01:11:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
Apparently, apparently, apparently you're speaking for yourself. I am I
am so it probably right after ten. Okay, so weeknights. Yeah,
on weeknights, so at midnight probably not a time to
be blaring music.
Speaker 6 (01:11:43):
Not on my road.
Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
Okay, yeah that was last night. The person above me,
shut up, turn it off. Oh my god, I couldn't sleep.
So yeah, please just be respectful of your neighbors. That's
just a reminder. If you share a wall or you know,
you're in an apartment building or something, just be respectful.
I did you bang your broom on the selon? I
was very close to it because he It's one point
(01:12:06):
turned the volume up and hit repeat on a song
because I could hear the same rhythm in the same beat.
I was going to go up there and and just
my my socks and underwear. But then I was like,
you know what, it just just you know, calm down, relax. Well, hey,
what time was this? This is midnight? Yeah, okay, well
he's still asleep. He's not hearing this at all.
Speaker 6 (01:12:26):
That's my assumption too.
Speaker 5 (01:12:28):
Also, if your socks and underwear, are you crazy?
Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
Yeah? I wanted to make an impression, okay, and that
definitely would Yeah, all right, well there you go. Yeah,
living in an apartment, especially if it is it a
pre war or a postwar? About it's it's pre war,
So it must have been exceptionally loud, because those walls
are actually pretty thick, right, So that's crazy. All right? Well,
(01:12:50):
welcome to New York City apartment the way it works.
Not saying it's right. Let's get into the three things
we need to know from Gandhi and get on with
the day. Gandhi, what's going on?
Speaker 5 (01:12:59):
All right? One person has been killed in an ICE
involved shooting in Maine. In a statement, Governor Janet Mills
said that she was briefed on the shooting and that
state authorities were working with federal officials related to the incident.
It happened in Midford, south of Portland. The Main Immigrants
Writs Coalition said the man killed was a twenty six
year old from Columbia who had been authorized to work
in the US. It comes after a man was shot
(01:13:21):
and killed by an ICE agent in Houston, with reports
saying he was not the intended target. The US is
sending out more in terior free funds than it is
bringing in at the moment. Nearly fifty billion dollars was
sent to businesses in June, the second full month of
payouts after the Supreme Court struck down President Trump's sweeping
blanket tariffs. The country brought in about twenty four billion
dollars in tariff revenue over the same period. According to
(01:13:43):
the Treasury Department, the country issued about twenty two billion
dollars in refunds in May. And finally we talked about it,
but it is happening tonight. The semifinal round of the
World Cup will take place later today. Killing Himbappe and
France will take on Lamina Malls Spain squad in Arlington
the Square. The sides are squaring off in the Euros
(01:14:05):
two or squared off I'm sorry in the Euros two
years ago, when the Spanish team edged the French team
to one in the Semis. Elsewhere, Lionel Messi and Argentina
resumed their World Cup title defense against England from Atlanta
on Wednesday. And those are your three things.
Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
You know what I've noticed ever since I started watching
these games, I'm drinking beer.
Speaker 3 (01:14:25):
Look at you.
Speaker 5 (01:14:26):
That's what. Britt Brandan drank so much beer. I've never
seen him drink beer, and he was just getting hammered
on vacation watching these games.
Speaker 2 (01:14:32):
Yeah, there's something. I don't know those they bring out
the beer drinker in Mere.
Speaker 3 (01:14:36):
Yeah, maybe it was the Toton Army Scotland.
Speaker 5 (01:14:40):
Well kind of beer? Do you have a favorite?
Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
The coldest beer?
Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
You know?
Speaker 2 (01:14:44):
I really love going into a bar that has the
draft that's so cold it hurts to drink it. Oh
did you burp it? That stinks? I love it? Anyway?
Am I the only beer drinker now anywhere? No beer?
Speaker 3 (01:14:58):
That nice cold one?
Speaker 13 (01:15:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:15:00):
You know what, I would have a cold woman dead? Yeah,
I love it anyway. So yeah, beer also making rowing noises. Yeah,
I'll tell you what that folks, that's plenty nice.
Speaker 4 (01:15:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:15:17):
Oh yeah, that's the time of the day.
Speaker 1 (01:15:19):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (01:15:21):
Join the Tunnel to Towers Foundation on its mission to
do good in honor of America's heroes. Donate eleven dollars
a month and amplify your impact with a car or
Land donation. Go to T two t dot org. That's
t the number two t dot org. Gandhi's three thiets.
Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
Paul Elvis in the team at two four two zero
one hundred.
Speaker 15 (01:15:47):
I can't even believe him on right now.
Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show, Hey, Danielle.
Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
When you were growing up, did your mama dad have
a garden?
Speaker 1 (01:15:54):
Ah?
Speaker 12 (01:15:55):
Yeah we did sometimes we had like tomato plants and
stuff like that at times.
Speaker 2 (01:15:59):
Yeah, just a few, just to here and there, just
a few. What about you, Gandhi, did your parents ever
have a garden?
Speaker 4 (01:16:05):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (01:16:05):
My mom was a gardener. She loved it.
Speaker 2 (01:16:07):
What would she what would she gardens?
Speaker 5 (01:16:08):
She was much more flowers, some vegetables, but lots of
lots of flowers, right, I.
Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
Know that, Nate, your your grandmother had the big garden
in your father Yeah, yeah, lots of always had something.
There was corn growing, you know, and you gotta you
had to space out the corn. You can't plant it
all at once because otherwise it's all ready to harvest
it once. So you got to like space it out
like we you know, plant it on. There is a
science to that is there, you know. I So we
(01:16:35):
were talking during the song about our garden and it's
you know, it's a learning process, it's a learning curve.
We every year we plant too many tomatoes. And this
year I said, well I can't let them do this.
I mean, because we waste a lot. We donate as
we donate some we eat as many as we can't whatever.
So I had a friend of mine go out yesterday
(01:16:56):
and start pulling out every other tomato plant. We had
to annihilate them. Wow, there's no where, there's nowhere to
replant them. No tomatoes are growing yet. But in order
for you know, some of them to be healthy, we
have to we have to stop planning them so close
to each other. So this year it's tomatoes, and it's peppers,
and it's oh we have basil and lettuces in rosemary,
(01:17:19):
got peppers with all sorts of stuff out.
Speaker 5 (01:17:21):
There, Well kind of animals are going to come help
themselves to your garden.
Speaker 2 (01:17:25):
Well luckily, luckily they really can't get in. I mean
we built really far down into the dirt and you
know whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:17:33):
Okay, but.
Speaker 2 (01:17:35):
Is gardening kind of a dying thing?
Speaker 5 (01:17:38):
I feel like it's starting to become more popular than ever.
Speaker 6 (01:17:41):
Oh, talk about it.
Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
I like hearing this.
Speaker 5 (01:17:43):
I just I have so many friends of all ages,
I mean between like twenty and sixty who are all
about gardening and starting to grow their own things and
take care of their their own sustenance. Because you know,
all the chemicals that are in the stuff that we
buy at the grocery store, and I have a garden
inside my apartment.
Speaker 4 (01:17:59):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (01:18:00):
What are you growing in there? Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:18:01):
I have all kinds of stuff. I have butterhead lettuce,
I have onions, I have peppers, some tomatoes. I have
a whole column full of flowers. I'll send you guys
a picture.
Speaker 2 (01:18:09):
They are throving butterhead lettuce. You know the old the
old joke, She's got a great body, butter head.
Speaker 9 (01:18:18):
Hey.
Speaker 2 (01:18:18):
Uh so that's the thing, you know, when the story
came out last week about you know, this explosive diarrhea
thing going on, they're saying, do not eat, you know,
the packaged lettuces and salads from the grocery store. So
I got I gotta, I gotta lettuce. I got a
salad growing right out front.
Speaker 5 (01:18:32):
That's nice.
Speaker 2 (01:18:33):
I'm assuming no one's you know, pooping on my on
my lettuce throwing it right now?
Speaker 13 (01:18:37):
That's what?
Speaker 4 (01:18:38):
What was it? Nate?
Speaker 2 (01:18:40):
So it's breaking into my garden and crapping on my
cross paper. Maybe not a human being, but you know,
deer out there. It's just gonna go. A deer can't
get in there. Okay, okay, oh, Nate, get out of here. Yeah,
what's scary.
Speaker 9 (01:18:56):
After hearing all the stuff and seeing all these TikTok stories,
all the pesticides and all this, my algorithm is serving
me all this crap.
Speaker 2 (01:19:04):
I wish I had a garden.
Speaker 9 (01:19:06):
My great grandfather had a fig tree in the backyard
on a two by two concrete slab.
Speaker 1 (01:19:11):
He grew in that.
Speaker 2 (01:19:12):
In that little space, he had a.
Speaker 9 (01:19:14):
Grape vine, the fig tree, tomatoes and cucumbers and basil
bossily go every seasons.
Speaker 2 (01:19:21):
It was amazing and I wish I could go back
to that. But well, do you know how the gardens gary.
It's a daily thing. That's why I had. Alex was
kind of curious, why are you ordering knee pads on Amazon? Well,
because you know you're on your knees a lot in
the garden. One of those big sun hats, I know,
(01:19:49):
but I have bucket hats, gloves.
Speaker 6 (01:19:51):
With a little with a little U flowers on them,
little gloves, little gloves.
Speaker 2 (01:19:56):
Do you own a hoe? Yeah, I have a home.
But you know that's the thing. You know, it's so
satisfying to prepare a dinner or a salad or whatever
from stuff that you grew.
Speaker 5 (01:20:10):
It is It's also just, isn't it satisfying to watch
it grow and be like, oh, look at you it is.
I raised you. Now I'm gonna eat you.
Speaker 2 (01:20:18):
I'll bring in some of these tear drop tomatoes in
this year. I think I brought him in last year.
They were super sick.
Speaker 3 (01:20:23):
Oh they were so sweet, they were so good.
Speaker 2 (01:20:25):
I love that. Nate, Come on, you need a garden.
I would look at it. Did you are you grown broccoli? No,
I'm not growing broccoli. I've never grown brocco. My uncle
grew broccoli one time and it wreaked. It smelled so
incredibly bad. He gave me some and I had it
in the car and you had to roll the windows down.
I was gassing myself with this broccoli. Leave it to
(01:20:49):
Nate to blame the broccoli. I don't know what broccoli,
what kind of broccoli strand was, but oh my god,
that I was like gas getting gassed out. Well, if
we need to talk to anyone about being a gentleman farmer,
it's Scotty Bee. Yeah, Scotty Bee's living the life. I mean,
you're out here at the farm. Hell, how often are
(01:21:09):
you out here?
Speaker 7 (01:21:10):
I go about every other weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:21:12):
But you it, what do you do well? I mean
I helped.
Speaker 7 (01:21:15):
I actually helped plant the Christmas trees this year, which
was really cool. You got to dig them and space
them a certain amount of part and whatnot. But even
before I was a real farmer, I always had a
garden at the house. Like I grew up, my parents
always had a garden in the backyard. And it's funny
because they don't do that anymore.
Speaker 2 (01:21:31):
But now I do.
Speaker 7 (01:21:32):
And for the last probably fifteen or twenty years, I've
been growing vegetables in my backyard. I'll experiment with something
different every year. This year I'm doing spaghetti squash. I'm
gonna see how that works out.
Speaker 2 (01:21:42):
Yeah, people, a lot of people are texting in a
lot of Chicken Cooper's out there. They're also raising chickens,
and you gotta get dogs to keep the animals out
eating your chickens. I mean, it's a you know, it's
a circle of life happening.
Speaker 4 (01:21:57):
Now.
Speaker 7 (01:21:57):
We want to do chickens, but there's an ordnance we're
not all out to. I wonder if we could hide
them somewhere.
Speaker 2 (01:22:01):
They make noise. Though they make noise, I think, Okay, Yeah,
it's like a we get in trouble. Well line too,
is Jen? What the hell is going on here? Lind too?
(01:22:23):
Is Jen calling in from beautiful Monroe, New Jersey, and
she's with Gandhi, thirty three years old, on her third
year of having a garden in her townhouse. Are you
obsessed with your gardening? Gen talk about it.
Speaker 10 (01:22:34):
I'm like, I'm obsessed. This is my third year doing it.
I started your one with just like tomatoes and peppers,
have slowly grown into like lettuce, beans, zucchini. It's a
small you know, I live in a town home, so
it's a small garden. But I'm obsessed with how much
I'm able to produce and provide, and I'm obsessed with
what I eat and grow. And it's amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:22:56):
I love that.
Speaker 5 (01:22:56):
It's pretty great and it just sneaks up on you
right like for it started with one little cute, succulent
All of a sudden, there are plants everywhere.
Speaker 1 (01:23:03):
That you turn.
Speaker 13 (01:23:04):
Literally, when we lived in our apartment, it was like
little plants. I was on a one in, one out
rule with my husband. Now that we're in a town home,
that rule has expanded, thank god. So hopefully with a
bigger home.
Speaker 10 (01:23:14):
We'll see what comes. But I'm obsessed I love it
and highly recommend. It's a good way to get outside.
It's a lot of fun, you know what.
Speaker 2 (01:23:22):
A lot of people are texting in let's hear it
for the balcony gardeners out there. I love that.
Speaker 1 (01:23:30):
It's amazing.
Speaker 10 (01:23:30):
It's such an easy way. But the arrow garden is
a big way to do it too. If you're into like,
if you want to do it indoors, that's a great
way to do it inside and gros summers and stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:23:38):
Yeah. Wow, So congratulations gardeners and those who are thinking about,
you know, gardening, Get out there. Garden. It's it's it's
it's it's daily. It's it's a lot of work.
Speaker 4 (01:23:50):
It is.
Speaker 6 (01:23:50):
Listen, yes, yes, she is every day.
Speaker 10 (01:23:52):
I think so much. No, thank you, guys. I'm so excited.
I love you guys. I listen every morning as always.
Speaker 6 (01:23:57):
You guys hear it every day.
Speaker 10 (01:23:58):
But I can't say it enough. And I'm so excited
to be on the air with you guys. Have a
great rest of your day.
Speaker 2 (01:24:02):
Well, I'm excited, and raise your garden. This sounds dirty.
Thank you, Jim. I have a great day. I can't stop.
I have an idea scary and I will be chickens. Danielle,
I want you to be a cow. Let me hear,
Let me hear your cow. Okay, you can do that? Wow, Gandhi?
(01:24:28):
Do you know how to sound like a sheep? Okay,
and goats and sheep kind of sound alike, don't they?
I mean, Scottie, can you be a goat? What do
you need me to be a goat?
Speaker 5 (01:24:42):
Don't they scream a lot?
Speaker 2 (01:24:47):
What are you gonna do?
Speaker 4 (01:24:47):
Mate?
Speaker 2 (01:24:49):
I could be a chick because there's normally one more
than one chicken. I could be the cock. Be the cock.
Yeah you usually are. What about you, Froggy, I'll be
a big halfer along with Danielle. Okay, here we go.
Welcome to our barnyard on your market set. Go oh,

Speaker 2 (01:25:58):
Well, at least here on the East coast we got
more World Cup action. So excited. Yeah, talk about it, Danielle.
Speaker 4 (01:26:06):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:26:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (01:26:06):
Today we have Spain and of course we have France
going at it and we'll see what happens. I mean,
whoever wins that game goes to the finals on Sunday.
And then tomorrow we have England and Argentina and same
thing there. And yeah, I can't believe we only have
three games left.
Speaker 3 (01:26:21):
Guys, three games, that's it.
Speaker 2 (01:26:24):
That makes me sad yea, to be honest.
Speaker 3 (01:26:27):
Went so fast. I feel like it went so fast.
Speaker 2 (01:26:30):
In the world of science, I know you love the
science stories, Gandhi see you know me, I only read
the headline, so I don't know what the story's about.
Here's the headline from the New York Times. Scientists find
sugar in the Milky Way interesting? Are we curious?
Speaker 4 (01:26:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:26:48):
Let's read more, shall we? Thanks to New York Times,
it's the first time a sugar molecule has been detected
in interstellar space. The discovery provides tantalizing new clues into
how life may have arisen on Earth. Wow, So for
the first time, scientists have spotted sugar out there, way
out there, providing this important clue about the origins of
(01:27:10):
sugar on Earth, impossibly the rise of life. It's a
real bonafide sugar, they're saying inactly know the people up
they're tasting what's going on?
Speaker 5 (01:27:19):
I know, I don't know. That's really cool though, So.
Speaker 2 (01:27:22):
They're saying that sugar's origins on Earth are mysterious. Scientists
know it must have been present very early on because
it's a necessity for life to arise, but lab experiments
to create the necessary chemical conditions have repeatedly failed to
create these molecules. So how did sugar get here? Scientists
think it could have been delivered to Earth by asteroid
(01:27:45):
and comet impacts early in the planet's history, because several
kinds of sugars, including glucose and rebos. I guess ribos
have been found on asteroids and meteorites. I didn't know
that they're shooting sugar at us.
Speaker 4 (01:28:00):
Not bad.
Speaker 5 (01:28:01):
What if it was brought here by the aliens who
started Earth? What if?
Speaker 2 (01:28:06):
What if I'm not you know, I'm at a point
in my left where I'm not questioning any of that anymore. Yeah,
you know that that intergalactic conspiracy theory going on, meaning
beings from other planets have been in our zone for
years and years and years. That kind of that story
(01:28:28):
died down?
Speaker 4 (01:28:29):
Did it just?
Speaker 2 (01:28:29):
Did our algorithms just get tired of reading it, so
they just kind of died away?
Speaker 5 (01:28:33):
Maybe?
Speaker 2 (01:28:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:28:35):
It still pops up online all the time, but that's
because I'm always diving into that, you know, conspiracy nonsensical
alien stuff all the time. Maybe not so nonsensical to me,
but I understand that people feel that way. I think
this stuff is so cool and it all I know,
we were talking about Project Hell Mary the other day,
but it all has to do with that. Watch it.
Speaker 2 (01:28:53):
What a great film, Daniel. Have you seen it yet?
Speaker 4 (01:28:54):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:28:55):
Not yet?
Speaker 2 (01:28:55):
On the list You're gonna fall in love with a
rock very long left. I'm not spoiling anything way too.
You see, it's so beautiful, not the rock a rock,
a rock, Yeah, it's a particular rock. Different.
Speaker 5 (01:29:10):
So like when you think about the planets and how
different each one of them are, and they say that
it you know, rains diamonds in certain places and others
are all gas, and you know, we have oxygen and
all this here. It's so cool to think about what
could be out there and the stuff that could exist
out there. And now I'm not shocked that they found
sugar just floating around in the milky way.
Speaker 2 (01:29:25):
That's so cool. Well, there you go, science doing this thing. Also,
let's get back to conspiracies for a second. I know, Gandhi,
you are always always at the forefront of the latest.
What what's the The last time we talked about this
that you were talking about the lizard people? Okay, okay, yeah,
(01:29:47):
what's new? Like what what's what's popping now in the
conspiracy world.
Speaker 5 (01:29:51):
So I don't know how new it is, but I've
been reading a lot about the rise of the seedless
fruit and how that's a whole conspiracy from what's okay?
You know, you go to the grocery store now and
you see all of these different types of seedless fruit
because people don't want to dig the seeds out. It's
very easy to just have a fruit with no seeds.
But there's a theory that pretty much suggests that agriculture
(01:30:14):
giants are keeping the seeds out of fruit to eventually
prevent us from being able to grow it all on
our own. And even when you look at manicured landscapes outside,
they plant the versions of the trees without the seeds
to control the populations of what is able to be grown.
Speaker 2 (01:30:30):
So this is all done by big fruit.
Speaker 5 (01:30:33):
Big fruit culture. They don't want to see.
Speaker 6 (01:30:38):
What big fruit.
Speaker 9 (01:30:40):
Why would they want to from growing because they want
to make the money.
Speaker 5 (01:30:45):
Yeah and on, you know, the broader scale of the conspiracy.
There's a lot of chemical stuff in the fruits that
we eat that makes you sick, and then big Farma
can come in and make you better. So if you
can just grow your own and always be healthy with
what you're growing, vicious cycle.
Speaker 2 (01:31:01):
Yeah, yeah, so that's big fruit. How's big Vege doing.
Speaker 5 (01:31:04):
They're all on the same page, Big.
Speaker 2 (01:31:07):
Veg, Big Edge, the big Vegg companies, Big Vege. There's
so many big companies out there there out to just
rip us. Everyone didn't Big Veg used to dance at Stiletto's.
Speaker 6 (01:31:24):
Very close in name, but no not her.
Speaker 2 (01:31:26):
Okay, Hey, someone just said a text in and I
totally forgot a lot of stuff happened while we were
on a vacation. They said, speaking of aliens. Did you
see James Franco's TikTok account? Yes, what's going on with him?
Speaker 5 (01:31:40):
I think it's promotion for a movie. He keeps saying
that he's being stocked by an alien, and he has
proof that he's being stocked by an alien, and he's
acting all worried, and then he flips his laptop open
and you see it pop up, and it looks like
the fakest thing I've ever seen.
Speaker 2 (01:31:52):
Those videos are creepy, though.
Speaker 5 (01:31:53):
Okay, but I don't think it's real.
Speaker 2 (01:31:55):
It looked real to me.
Speaker 5 (01:31:56):
I don't think it.
Speaker 3 (01:31:57):
They all look real that I saw.
Speaker 2 (01:32:00):
I woke up this morning. I'm like, maybe it was
because it was like dark out.
Speaker 1 (01:32:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:32:04):
I think if you watch it right now, you're gonna
be like, please, James.
Speaker 2 (01:32:06):
Well, I mean, so I was watching the news a
little bit while I was on vacation. I try to
stay away from it, you know. Of course, the explosive
diarrhea story was the huge one, and of course Taylor
Swift's wedding, you know, and I noticed and Nate brought
this up as well. We really haven't talked about it,
but I think we were also oversaturated with the stories
coming out of that wedding. What else is there to
(01:32:27):
talk about?
Speaker 5 (01:32:28):
You know, I mean I don't really think anything so.
Speaker 2 (01:32:31):
But also, a skyscraper in New York City buckling. They're
saying it looks like he's about to topple down over
Gotham City.
Speaker 1 (01:32:42):
Remember that.
Speaker 2 (01:32:43):
Did you see that story?
Speaker 5 (01:32:44):
My dad was asking me that the other day because
he wanted to know the proximity to all of us
if and when this thing comes down.
Speaker 2 (01:32:49):
I was like, I don't know. Yeah, I mean, I
think they're renovating this this really tall building here in
New York City, and some of the beams higher on
the higher floor started to buckle and they were just cracking,
and they evacuated that area of the city quickly.
Speaker 5 (01:33:09):
I mean, that's I'm surprised it doesn't happen with more.
Speaker 2 (01:33:12):
Well, yeah, look, you know, we we were witnessed to
what happened on nine to eleven when the World Trade
Center towers came down, and you see it happening before
your eyes and you just can't believe it's real. Right,
But an awful day, right? Oh yeah, And there were
people who brought those buildings down. But we're talking about
an engineering fault in a building, you know, and in
(01:33:35):
New York City, you wonder if one goes this way
to it hits another one does that one go down to?
Speaker 4 (01:33:40):
Is it like?
Speaker 2 (01:33:41):
Is it like dominoes? I mean, what does it? How
does that work?
Speaker 5 (01:33:44):
Whenever there are new buildings being built around me, and
it's constant right now, scary loos kind of near me.
So he sees all these apartment buildings coming up. I
just sit there and watch them, and I am fascinated
because the bottom floor, the weight that the bottom floor
of an apartment building has to hold between the people,
the furniture, everything that's up there, every floor above. I'm
just like, wow, how does it hold all of that?
(01:34:06):
And I know the architects figure it out. I quiz
our architect here all the time about it. It's just
interesting to watch.
Speaker 3 (01:34:11):
You know, the ones that they build on the bridges,
like you know, or a tonne of like you go
under it with your car.
Speaker 2 (01:34:16):
And then the apartments.
Speaker 12 (01:34:17):
Yeah, there's a whole apartment complex sitting on top of that.
I'm always like, oh my gosh, how is that. I
don't even I don't even know. If I could live
in that building, i'd be so I'd be nervous.
Speaker 2 (01:34:27):
Well, you know, engineers, I'm surprised. Look, if I was
an engineer, I wouldn't wouldn't even let my dog live
in a doghouse that I engineered. You really need to
know what you're doing.
Speaker 6 (01:34:36):
Yeah, I always worried about that on a bridge, Like,
I know, bridges are fine as cars are driving over them,
but like when traffic is stopped and there's two hundred
cars sitting on a bridge. Was that bridge designed to
hold two hundred cars just sitting at one time? That's
a lot more weight than cars driving. And I get
all nervous driving over a bridge when we have to stop.
I'm like, cause makes me really nervous knowing that it's
(01:34:56):
most of the time nothing's gonna happen, But it's that whole,
all this weight at one time.
Speaker 5 (01:35:01):
And even like the mechanics of a tunnel under a river,
how the halland tunnel. Every time we're driving through it,
I just think what going on here? And want a
piece of like a droplet of water hits the car.
I'm like, where's that from?
Speaker 4 (01:35:12):
Why?
Speaker 5 (01:35:14):
How did they build that under the water?
Speaker 2 (01:35:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:35:16):
Like, how did I know?
Speaker 2 (01:35:18):
It's actually fast? It's actually fascinating hold on, Scary. It's
actually fascinating how they did it. And you can actually
see videos about how they went down there. And they
had these machines that just go in circles and just
eat the land like a worm going through dirt. Oh wow,
Scary is dying to talk about the building that's at
one sixty one Maiden Lane. It's known as one Seaport.
(01:35:40):
It's downtown Manhattan. It tilts three inches to the north.
It's it's a tall building, sixty story tower, completely abandoned
since twenty twenty. This is this the one we're talking about.
Speaker 9 (01:35:56):
Yeah, you pointed it out to me once and I've
been fascinated with it ever since.
Speaker 2 (01:36:00):
They just so six years ago. They're done with the construction.
They're just sitting. It's the suits there. It's a sixty
story building, a tower. They don't know what to do
with it. I remember there was a big hotel in
Las Vegas that we were sleeping next to you. We
were at the Aria, remember that, and there was a
building next door. Towers. It's a tower of condominiums, totally
empty because oops, we misjudged and they had to take
(01:36:22):
that down. It's like, it's crazy, But these engineers. Thank
God for them, you know, truly, they actually get it
right more than they get it wrong. Oh yeah, another
story we haven't talked about that happened while we were
on vacation. The couple that climbed the Empire State Building
with a big class the flag that we all commandeered
had made it our own. What has since happened to them?
(01:36:44):
Do we know?
Speaker 1 (01:36:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:36:46):
They were arrested right at first.
Speaker 2 (01:36:47):
But I mean, and apparently they've done this before. This
is not a new thing. Wow, it seems like every
time we go on vacation the most fascinating things happened. Sometimes,
Verry said, a lot of celebrities die when we're on vacation.
Speaker 5 (01:36:59):
There's a documentary about those two that came out a
couple of years ago on Netflix. I think it's called
Skywalker's about how they do it and how they met
and she was sort of a fan of his before
it all started, and then they started doing it together.
Speaker 2 (01:37:11):
It's interesting. Let me play a song for you. When
I hear a little Taylor, little Madonna, sabrena little Charlie Pool,
Charlie Pooth, I mean, he's starring at our summer bash
and we have all the announcement up and running at
ze one hunter dot com. It's a totally free concert
at Hudson Yards where the buildings are still standing, so
feel free to come down and feel safe. Charlie Poof
(01:37:32):
this is reply to this. I love this song. All right,
shows done, Let's get out of here until next time.
Say peace out everybody. He's out everybody.
