Good morning. Yeah, it is Friday. It's January ninth. Welcome
to the day. We survived another week and we're gonna
get into some brand new music from Bruno Mars. Now.
Lots going on around this song. It's called I Just Might.
I'm gonna play it right now. But he's kicking off
a global, a global tour, and he's gonna start it
off in Las Vegas, where he's been living for several

(01:32):
several weeks I think decades. It's speaking of decades. We
haven't had a global tour from Bruno Mars in about
a decade, nor we have music from him either. You
ready to hear I just might? Yeah, yeah, here we go,
brand new Bruno Mars. Right here. Listen to this Bruno Mars,
I just might, brand new. We just heard it together

(01:52):
for the first time. I love that.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
None of us like snuck in a listen before the show.
We waited until we could all do it together.

Speaker 8 (01:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
That was awesome. I'm gonna have to accidentally play that
again in a few minutes. Yeah. So it's brune O

while you were holding on?

Speaker 6 (02:22):
Yeah? It was good.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah, he's awesome. He's awesome.

Speaker 11 (02:25):
He's the best in concert too. His concerts are insane.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
There we are, right, He's good. You should send me well,
I know we really should, you know. And Bruno Mars
is so talented as far as dancing and performing and energy.
And if you don't believe what I'm saying, ask him,
he'll tell you he is anyway. So you get up
this early every day, Brian? Why what's going on? Why

(02:49):
you up so early every day?

Speaker 12 (02:51):
I knew, well, I commute. I'm in Lincoln, Nebraska, I
commute up to Omaha. So this is the only hour
of the day that I get to listen to the radio.
So gotta get my news, music and everything in the
first hour.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Oh wow, all right, look at that. We'll try to
give you all of the above. That's interesting to me.
I think more people should have moments to themselves and
us before the day gets started, you know, before the
craziness of your job starts kicking in. So I'm glad
you're with us. So what do you do? Why do
you drive so far every day? Why do you love

(03:23):
driving up to Omaha every day?

Speaker 12 (03:26):
I'm working in construction and that's just where I got
moved up.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Right now, we want to know what you're building.

Speaker 12 (03:32):
Yeah, uh, it's actually a project for a client.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Okay, well no, no, no, there's no Danielle. He can't
talk about it top secret. He'd have to kill you.
It's informing, okay, we keep it that way. It's informing. Wow,
do with that as you may. Well, Brian, you are
the first call of the day. It's so good to
hear your your your laugh and your energy. What do

(03:59):
you have for our friend, Brian? Well, it's the full
Elvis Dran apparel line.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
You're gonna look great in the new year, Brian wearing
that that wonderful apparel.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
How about that thank you you apparel?

Speaker 12 (04:11):
Because I need to wear high this.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Oh sure, we'll put some reflective stuff on there. Scotty Bee,
take care, Scotty Bee. Can you apply the reflective tape?
Thank you?

Speaker 6 (04:22):

Speaker 12 (04:23):

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Oh wow, you do listen, don't you you know? Yeah,

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Oh wow, there you go. People all around the world
tuning in? Do we still tune in? Is that an
old word?

Tune tune?

Speaker 6 (04:50):
Well?

Good morning, Daniel, how you feeling You're good?

Speaker 6 (04:52):
Good?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Thanks Scottie B and Master control over there. Hello there
see producer Sam made it in today. And there's Gandhi. Hi, Gandhi, Hi, Hello, Garion,
Good morning, Froggy. How you feeling warning, I'm good? And
then Bueno, just get into the three things we need
to know from Gandhi? What's up? Gandhi? All right?

Speaker 13 (05:14):
Following a shooting by federal agents in Portland that wounded
two people, Oregon's governor says Homeland Security is destroying trust
in the federal government. Governor Tina Cotec says that when
the president endorses actions that tare families apart, it bosters
an environment of lawlessness and recklessness. She's calling for a
full and transparent investigation that involves Portland police and County
District Attorney's office. Homeland Security says agents were attempting a

(05:36):
traffic stop on an alleged Venezuelan gang member when the
driver tried to run over an agent and shots were fired.
The House is now passing legislation to extend expired Obamacare
tax credits. The bipartisan vote passed two hundred and thirty
to one. Ninety six, with seventeen Republicans crossing the aisle
to join every voting Democrat in support. The move, which

(05:57):
would extend the COVID Enhanced Affordable Care subsidies, will now
head to the Senate. It's a blow to Mike Johnson,
who had argued for weeks that the majority of House
Republicans were opposed. This could be good news for a
lot of people who are relying on those subsidies. And finally,
when it comes to finding love, apparently there is one
thing that lots of people lie about to seem more desirable.

Speaker 8 (06:19):
An he guesses no.

Speaker 11 (06:21):
One money money coming in.

Speaker 13 (06:23):
Yes, they're lying about finances, and apparently in pretty major ways.
It's not the kind of lie that is like booking
a fancy restaurant or wearing expensive shoes. A Credit Won
Bank survey of one thousand young adults revealed that fifty
one percent admit to faking their wealth or exaggerating financial success.
Gen Z is leading the way with fifty four percent.
Millennials forty eight percent are lying. Additionally, a staggering thirty

(06:46):
seven percent say they'd be willing to overdraft their account
or plunge into debt just to impress somebody on a date.
They're flat out lying about how rich they are, and
they're so invested that they're willing to put themselves into
debt just to keep.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Up the roots.

Speaker 8 (06:58):
And those are your free things.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Until those days were over. They're not well. All right,
let's try not to do that. Are you ready for
your Friday kids?

Speaker 6 (07:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Sam, get into your horoscopes. What are the stars saying today?

Speaker 4 (07:13):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Brought to you by Grainberry Cereal. We are so addicted
to Grainberry cereal. Amazing taste, so healthy for you. Grainberry
has lower sugar and it's packed with antioxidants. Pick up
a box of Grainberry brand flakes raisin bran, honeynut, apple, cinnamon,
or Grainberry cinnamon frosted shredded wheat.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
This is Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Hello, Hi, So did anyone watch The Pit Season two?
I say, the series beginning last night? So not serious,
but the series no season beginning. There's so many, so
many things you have to remember. Did you watch it?
What'd you think?

Speaker 5 (07:56):
I loved it? I loved it, good, good, good good.
Hate to say it's kind to become a comfort show
for me. Whoa, But that's the most uncomforting show you
can watch.

Speaker 14 (08:05):
But there's so much.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
Humanity and compassion in each episode, even last night it
was the first episode of season two. Can you just
see these little vignettes of life that happened, you know,
I imagine if you're in an emergency department, you see
this kind of stuff all day. You go there when
you're having the worst day of your life, but these
people that work there, that's.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Just another day to them.

Speaker 15 (08:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
Right, So it's you see a lot of that, and
it's it's it's great to see.

Speaker 11 (08:31):
I saw the commercial and I got excited for you guys.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
You got to watch it. Well, no, you got to
watch the first the first season. You got to get
into it. It really is great and thank god, this
is another thing I gotta say once again, thank you
Nate for turning me onto that.

Speaker 16 (08:42):
Now.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
The world's loving it, and I know last season, a
lot of people who work in er said, yeah, it's
very it's the most accurate they've ever seen on TV before. Yeah,
it's so.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
It may granted, they compile and compress a lot of
drastic things into one, you know, one day, but at
the same time, it's all stuff that's happened in some
ere someplace sometimes so well, you know, look at us,
we're here working in our own pit.

Speaker 8 (09:09):
Same.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Yeah, we've got four hours of intensity every day, this studio,
the pit. Yeah, I think I left my headphones in
the pit. I'll be around back basically. Wow. So also
I caught it with Landman last night? Do you want
to watching Landman behind?

Speaker 6 (09:27):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (09:28):
So good, it's so great. Now in search of a
new show. So we're looking there's I bet there's something
on the horizon. We gotta keep her eyes up for it.
So let me know if you think.

Speaker 11 (09:38):
Times on the way.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
So bring him on, baby, let's get into the horoscopes. Producer, Sam,
it's Friday, it is. We need someone who knows what
they're doing to assist you.

Speaker 11 (09:47):
Who is that, Danielle? Do you feel like you know
what you're doing to? No, I try, I'll do it anything.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Oh great, she'll be fine. All right, let's go.

Speaker 11 (09:54):

Speaker 11 (10:12):
Your day's an eight, hey, bi, see's a small sweet
moment restores a hope you didn't realize was missing. Your
date is a seven Aries.

Speaker 17 (10:18):
You are ready to step into a new version of yourself,
quietly but unapologetically.

Speaker 11 (10:23):
Your day's a ten Taurus. If you let go of
a small resentment today, it's going to free up way
more energy than you expected. Your day is an eight Ooogemini.

Speaker 17 (10:31):
You'll be drawn to a conversation that will reveal way
more depth than you saw coming your days of five Cancer.

Speaker 11 (10:37):
You hear something today that reminds you of your own strength,
the quiet, lasting kind. Your day is a seven.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Hey, Leo.

Speaker 17 (10:43):
You are more grounded today than usual, and someone will
take note in a way that feels validating.

Speaker 11 (10:48):
Your day's an eight Virgo. You currently have more control
of your story than you've had in a while. Your
date is a five Libra.

Speaker 17 (10:54):
A certain connection of yours is not fading, it's just shifting.

Speaker 11 (10:57):
Your day's a nine Scorpio. You are so tempted to
keep something to yourself, but sharing it creates an unexpected opportunity.
And your day is a seven.

the kind that comes from making peace with something final.

United States again.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Oh okay, really, can we talk about that now? Do
I have to wait for that?

Speaker 11 (11:32):
We can talk about that now if you would like.
Do you want to?

Speaker 1 (11:34):
I don't want to ruin your story? But she said,
what would make Britney Spears say I never want to
appear in concert in this country ever? Again?

Speaker 11 (11:42):
I mean, I think it's maybe everybody poking fund at
or constantly.

Speaker 8 (11:47):
Maybe are they only doing that here?

Speaker 11 (11:48):
She said, yeah, Well, she says that she'll do international shows.
So now I think there's a Copa Cabana beat show
in Brazil that they're trying to get her to beat,
perform out or something. But I don't know. I maybe
people are are sure here than other parts of the world.

so much going on. Let's happen.

Speaker 11 (17:31):
All right, Let's talk about the twenty twenty six iHeartRadio
Music Award nominations. They came out yesterday. Taylor Swift leads
with nine nods, ahead of Bed Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter and
Alex Warren with eight each. The show will air March
twenty six live on Fox at eight pm Eastern Time,
and we'll also be heard on iHeartRadio stations and the
iHeart Radio app. And of course, it celebrates the most

(17:52):
played artists and songs of twenty twenty five. There's some
new additions to the show like Favorite TikTok Dance, Favorite
Debut Album, Favorite KPO Collab. Social voting is running up
to March nineteenth, with more categories and details to be
announced later. I'm excited because my favorite category, the Favorite
Broadway Debut category, is there. So it's a fantastic category.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
I saw you on line talking about that yet.

Speaker 11 (18:15):
Yeah, it was so excited. I know how I voted
for but it was hard because there's so many great
people on that stage. So vote for your favorites now.
The Puppy Ball is coming back once again. It is
set for February eighth at two pm Eastern Time, with
a kickoff show starting at one pm Eastern. It's a
three hour event. It will feature one hundred and fifty
dogs from seventy two shelters from the US, Puerto Rico

(18:37):
and the British Virgin Islands. Fifteen special needs dogs will compete,
and senior dogs will be spotted for the first time
in a team Oldies versus Team Goldies exhibition.

Speaker 22 (18:51):
So cute.

Speaker 11 (18:52):
There's gonna be fan favorites like you know, the kitten
cam and all kinds of stuff, So get ready for that.
We are so excited. We love the Puppy Ball. So
Bruno Mars revealed yesterday a lengthy tour in support of
his upcoming album The Romantic that will come out February
twenty seventh. Then last night he released the first track,
I Just Might. We are loving it. It is such

(19:14):
a great song, So Bruno. If you want tickets pre
sale begins at noon on Wednesday, January twelfth, and then
general ticket sales will happen the next day.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
He must be so so so exciting. Oh yeah, he's
going back out on the road, his first global tour
in about a decade. When can we play that song again?
I gotta play it again. I want to hear it.
I need to hear it. Okay, anyone does anyone know
when we're can play it again? What about maybe twenty minutes?
Oh yay, good sounds. I'm gonna I'm gonna pop.

Speaker 16 (19:40):
It all right.

Speaker 11 (19:41):
Britney Spears was on Instagram yesterday saying she will never
perform in the US again. All she was saying it
was for very sensitive reasons, That's all she was saying.
She still leaves the door open for international shows. So
there's the organizers of the annual Copa Cabana Beach Concert
in Brazil. There have been rumors of Britney wanting to
perform there, and and we'll see. Lady Gaga had two

(20:02):
million last year. I remember Madonna played to like one
point six million there in twenty twenty four. So we'll
see if Britney signs on for that. And this weekend Avatar,
Fire and Ash is expected to earn another twenty million
in top the box office for a fourth consecutive week.
There's some new arrivals, there's some buzz around Primate. It's
got ninety one percent fresh on rotten tomatoes. So there's

(20:25):
a bunch of stuff if you get out to the theaters.
But there's a lot to watch at home. You've got
US Figure Skating Championships. Of course, there's the NFL Wild
Card games going on. People we meet on vacation as
a new romantic comedy on Netflix. You also have the
Golden Globe Awards going down Sunday night. So there is
a lot happening. And that is my Danielle report.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
That's a lot going on, Danielle, Yeah, so much. And
how much of that? What percentage of that did you
make up? And what percentage was accurate?

Speaker 11 (20:53):
I would say I made up ninety ninety point four
was accurate.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
That that that's very high for actis, especially for this
for this place. Really, it looks like everyone got their bagels.
It's bagel Friday. Everyone's loading up, carbon up for the
big race, a big puppy bowl. So what's our favorite
flavor today? Is it the everything bagel. You can't go
along with everything. It's got everything on it.

Speaker 13 (21:20):
Everything is the hot hot commodity. Everyone grabs them.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Yeah, you guys are you know? You can always tell
when it's bagel Friday because there's no one in the room.
It's it's a ghost town in the in the pit.
The pit is empty. All right. You know what I think?
I think maybe it's time for us to tune up
the show a little bit. Maybe we need to do
a little Let me speak to the manager.

Speaker 11 (21:43):
Oh what happened?

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Well, we were about to find out. We don't know yet, Daniel.
That's why we do. Let me speak to the manager.
Some people can speak to the manager and tell us
what happened.

Speaker 8 (21:52):
There's another thing we're supposed to be doing today too.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
What's that?

Speaker 23 (21:55):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (21:56):
Oh, we got to kick that off next, all right,
tell you what. Let's do that next. Today's Today's the
day we put our phones down.

Speaker 13 (22:07):
Andrew has a little device too, the brick. Have you
seen this little brick? All you do is tap it
and it locks your phone.

Speaker 11 (22:12):
Oh yeah, huh yeah, we have alas.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
We talked about this yesterday morning. If you missed it.
We're spending way too much time on screen, and so
what we'll do, Okay, you have fifteen minutes basically to
catch up, and at the top of the hour, right
around there when we come back whatever, we're gonna put
our phones away and you can't check it for an hour.

Speaker 11 (22:34):
I thought it was the whole show.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
No, no, no, no. The rule was you can check
it for like an emergency text or whatever every top
of the hour. We did say that, did we not?
Am I crazy?

Speaker 9 (22:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Yeah we did, Danielle. Don't say that, Danielle. If you
want to be the one that does it, it doesn't
get to look at it, then you can do that, right.
Are you going to play along?

Speaker 6 (22:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (22:53):
I'm fine.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
All right. So we're gonna put our phones down because
we think the phones are taking up way too much
of our attention, way too much time and passion from
our lives. So we'll get into that coming up, and
then a little after that we'll speak to the manager.

Speaker 6 (23:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
That in the morning, Elvis Duran in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
Show brought to you by Grainberry Cereal. We are so
addicted to Grainberry cereal. Amazing taste, so healthy for you.
Grainberry has lower sugar and it's packed with antioxidants. Pick
up a box of Grainberry brand flakes, Raisin Brand honeynut
apple cinnamon, or Grainberry cinnamon frosted shredded wheat.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
Elvis Duran in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Show, you know we're about to put our phones away,
and you're thinking, okay, big deal. Well have we not
discovered that so many people are so so so into
their phones they start sweating at the thought of putting
them away? Are you one of those?

Speaker 6 (23:59):
Nate?

Speaker 5 (24:00):
Last night, here's an example of how addicted to my
phone I am. The Pit finished at nine fifty seven
or whatever, right, and then I'm like, I'll just go
scroll on my phone. Do you know what time I
went to bed? I actually got up off the couch
and went into bed.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
Nine Wow, almost an hour doing nothing.

Speaker 11 (24:19):
And you don't even realize it. The next time you
look up, you're.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Like, what the yes, Well wait, let's let's analyze why
you did it. So, Okay, the Pit is very intense.
I haven't seen this episode, but I'm assuming as all
other episodes of The Pit, it's it's intense. Did you
need to maybe use your phone to calm down, ramp
down a little bit and just go look at like kittens,
you know, kittens and things amaze. That was that part

(24:43):
of it. Not really, I think I just do that
mindless scroll. Have you guys caught yourself.

Speaker 11 (24:50):
Doing the scroll?

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Absolutely? But I think I do believe there is a
triggering aspect here as well. It's the same. It's the
same as if you're having an intense moment. You if
you're a smoker, you pick up a cigarette, you light
it up. Does that make sense? Yeah? And I do
think that the phone has replaced a cigarettes for a
lot of people. You're right.

Speaker 5 (25:08):
And the other thing I noticed was that the hour
I was watching the Pit the show, I wasn't on
my phone. I made a conscious decision to put it away.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Good. See, that's good. But that's good.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
The bad thing is that I'm like, Oh, I had
a whole hour I wasn't on my phone.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
What did I miss?

Speaker 5 (25:24):
What happened in the last fifty seven minutes that I
missed out on?

Speaker 1 (25:28):
So then I spent the next.

Speaker 5 (25:29):
Hour trying to figure out what that hour I missed
out on happened? What happened during that hour?

Speaker 1 (25:35):
Wow, I do think it is a nervous habit for
a lot of us, this phone thing.

Speaker 11 (25:40):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Where you know, if we need to be, it's almost
the same as going to the refrigerator and grabbing a
carb or something to eat. I really do believe it's
that way for some of us. Yeah, gandhi do you
think so?

Speaker 6 (25:50):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (25:50):
Definitely.

Speaker 13 (25:51):
I find myself reaching for my phone all the time.
Even when I say I'm gonna put this down and
not revisit this phone for an hour, I will just
subconsciously be sitting there reaching for it.

Speaker 11 (26:00):
Gross.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
All right, Well, look, I was reading in the New
York Post this morning about this British war veteran who
lost both of his legs in Afghanistan, and it has
become the first double aboveney amputee to summit the highest
peaks on every continent in the world.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
If he can do that, we can put our phones down.

Speaker 6 (26:22):
People.

Speaker 8 (26:24):
The bar is low for us. We can cross it.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
All right? All right?

Speaker 11 (26:29):
So when are we doing it?

Speaker 14 (26:31):
Not yet?

Speaker 7 (26:32):
What not?

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Why do you do you have unfinished business? Do you
have to go to an Instagram real quick? In post?

Speaker 14 (26:38):
I have I have unfinished business?

Speaker 1 (26:40):
Yes? I do? I do?

Speaker 9 (26:41):
So?

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Yeah? Please, Well we've been talking about this. You had
another you have ten minutes.

Speaker 24 (26:46):
Okay, this so seven o'clock on the dot. I got
the top of the hour on the dot.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
We're ready to go. But finess, yeah, you're not doing
it now, you're not doing anything.

Speaker 24 (26:55):
Well, I'm I'm waiting for us to go to commercials
because I do research with some of.

Speaker 11 (26:59):
Our musicsarch search.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
Are you doing research for? What?

Speaker 2 (27:02):
For?

Speaker 1 (27:02):
What do you research it?

Speaker 24 (27:03):
I have lists of things about music of all the
songs and what's testing?

Speaker 11 (27:08):
Why are you doing that now? You do that after
the show? No, you're so full of crap. It's ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
You're out of your mind. The music, the music is
on this computer right over here. It's ready to go.
You don't know what, just like being I'm making excuses.
I'm sorry. Okay, okay, okay, scary, you have music for this.
We need music for this. Okay, hold on, we didn't
put it away music something I asked you for earlier.
You really are all over the road today. He's got

(27:34):
to research it on.

Speaker 8 (27:37):
You do.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
It's scary. You are so nervous about putting your phone away.
I think this is so telling.

Speaker 11 (27:42):
I'm shutting mine off totally. Oh wow. Wow, By the way, Diamond,
everyone has your phone numbers, so you might be getting something.

Speaker 24 (27:49):
Telephone by Lady Gaga pulled up and I didn't like it,
so I went somewhere else.

Speaker 8 (27:54):
Are you locked up?

Speaker 1 (27:55):
All right? It doesn't matter, Scary, Can you just put
it down. I'm at the end of my rope here, scary,
let it go, Scary, let it go, Let it go.
It's gonna be okay, Scary, We're here for you. I
tell you what if you find yourself in need of
picking up your phone, any of us say something out
loud to the rest of us so we can help
each other out. Can we be okay? Can we kill

(28:15):
we group support support? We can be group and team support.
It can be great. Yes, all right, scary here like
a minute.

Speaker 22 (28:25):
I'm good.

Speaker 14 (28:26):
No, No, that's it.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Putting it away? All right? Are you turning it off?

Speaker 22 (28:29):
Turning it off?

Speaker 14 (28:29):
You guys with my witness?

Speaker 13 (28:30):
Okay, Now, what happens if we see somebody reach for
the phone? Is there some sort of accountability like the
studio taser we were talking about.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Well, I would say give them a moment because they
may realize what they're doing because it's habit.

Speaker 11 (28:42):
It's habit, it's his studio taser.

Speaker 8 (28:44):
Yes, Scotty said he.

Speaker 11 (28:44):
Bring it in.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
Scotty, did you bring in a studio taser? I forgot
to bring it.

Speaker 6 (28:50):
You know what?

Speaker 1 (28:51):
There is no follow up on this show.

Speaker 25 (28:52):
Gandi didn't remind me, and you need a reminder. Why
it's a stun gun. You're not allowed to own a
taser her, it's a stunt go.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Okay, okay, okay, I'm gonna turn mine off. How do
I do this? I've never turned my phone.

Speaker 14 (29:10):
Buttons on each side?

Speaker 1 (29:11):
Okay, thank you, thank you? And here we go. Oh
here we No, I can push medical ID or emergency call.
I can do that here all right, boom, it's off
here there he goes.

Speaker 6 (29:19):
Bye.

Speaker 11 (29:19):
I feel it. Actually it felt good to do that.

Speaker 19 (29:22):
It's like, you know, liberating.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
All right, And so you can see my phone it's
right here. Okay, yep, yeah, okay, so you can always
see where my phone is. Do we need to have
constant viewing of others phones as well?

Speaker 11 (29:37):
Keeping view?

Speaker 8 (29:39):
Okay, I head mine, take it out.

Speaker 6 (29:44):
Now?

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Are you? Are you starting to think of backups? Like
how you can start communicating with others?

Speaker 8 (29:48):
No, no, my apple, my.

Speaker 24 (29:52):
Computer and then do a little FaceTime action to somebody
if I need to during the show, maybe my dad, whoever.
But come on, we allowed to use our laptops for communication. Hey,
here's a question.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
I mean, knowing full well that this is your job,
your career, why don't you just like think about that first? Okay,
can you do it?

Speaker 14 (30:14):
Yes, it was just a question, that's all.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Well, the answer is no.

Speaker 8 (30:19):
We're all gonna have to pay attention to each other.

Speaker 11 (30:21):
This is exciting.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
Wow, we do all right? So we do. We all
have each other's phones insight, yes, yes, okay. And by the.

Speaker 11 (30:31):
Way, my watch will not work now either. It's actually
my watch is saying that it needs you know, the
phone's not there, So.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Does that bother you?

Speaker 11 (30:38):
No, I've already.

Speaker 8 (30:40):
Noticed a stain on a shirt. This is going to
be a good day.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Okay, nope, okay, okay, let's take a break. We go
to take a break here, right, yeah, and let's see
if we can do this for three hours? Okay, all right,
I have faith in all of us. All right, hear
me as already exhibiting withdrawal. We got thank you, scary,
It's gonna be okay. We'll be back maybe.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
Every single day to you guys. Oh hello, lover, you
just make my morning writer. I absolutely love your show,
like how amazing is wet enough?

Speaker 18 (31:15):
Honestly it's got a big one and guys are hilarious.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. This is Elvis Duran
in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
All right, we're ten minutes then without having any phones
at all. Okay, so far, so good. Even I've got
the munchies. I've decided to get through these three hours.
I'm going to eat.

Speaker 11 (31:38):
That's good.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
I've got snacks.

Speaker 11 (31:40):
That's a good way to do it.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
To do it, you get over an addiction by replacing
it with something.

Speaker 13 (31:44):
I don't know that this is a healthy way to
do it.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
It is it? Well, no one of my snacks is healthy.
We'll get into that in a minute. We're good there,
I told Alex, said, Alex, we're putting down our phones.
If you need to get me, text me on the
fifty five lines. So now, and I'm thinking I shouldn't
have said that now, you know, just listeners are gonna
text say hey, it's all just love you. I'm gonna
look at the number. I know it's not you. I

(32:09):
know his number. You can't mess with me. So okay,
So other than snacks, how else can we get through this?

Speaker 8 (32:14):
Talk to each other?

Speaker 6 (32:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (32:16):
Yeah, do our jobs?

Speaker 8 (32:17):
Maybe do our jobs research?

Speaker 6 (32:19):
Maybe?

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Yeah. I noticed that as soon as as soon as
we were done, uh putting our phones down, scary, ran
outside and got something to eat and brought it back in.
What's what's in the plate?

Speaker 6 (32:29):
Oh?

Speaker 14 (32:29):
I got everything? Bagel from pop up bagels, other things.

Speaker 24 (32:32):
I promised myself I would swear off bagels for January,
but I guess not.

Speaker 14 (32:37):
I need something to replace my phone.

Speaker 11 (32:40):
I don't know what bagel replaces your phone.

Speaker 1 (32:43):
You could just eat your.

Speaker 14 (32:43):
Phone in the meantime with my hands.

Speaker 11 (32:48):
So we know, no comment?

Speaker 5 (32:50):
Well please, you know what I without doubt, we know
that we use our phones for much more than just
going online and and you know, trolling around. We we
also use our phones to like I need a timer,
you know, because when we're done with the break, we
have eight minutes before we have to get back.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
I always push you know, set time or eight minutes? Right?
I can't do that? Oh yeah, done that? Scary. When
it comes time to do the weather, where are you
gonna get your weather?

Speaker 14 (33:12):
Well, I didn't have my phone, so I improvised stuff up.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
I think you do that anyway, you're right, you made
the weather up.

Speaker 14 (33:20):
No, I haven't memorized.

Speaker 8 (33:21):
Actually, you memorize weather.

Speaker 14 (33:24):
Yeah, cloudy and dreary all weekend and rain off and
on in the northeast. Okay, but high fifty one today though.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Okay, that's okay, that's enough, thank you. Thank god we
don't have barometric pressure coming out of you. That's good.

Speaker 8 (33:35):
We spend some time getting that stain off his shirt.
That was good.

Speaker 11 (33:37):
Yeah, I still don't know what that was. I don't
want to tell you what I thought it was.

Speaker 1 (33:42):
Well, he has to do something with his hands. Yep,
all right, I think we're gonna be okay, Okay, we're
gonna be okay, we're gonna get through this. But it
does make you stop and think about how much we
rely on our phones for just absolutely nothing, nothing that
serves us, not you know, m I don't know.

Speaker 26 (34:03):
I don't know what we do.

Speaker 13 (34:05):
I wanted to look something up, and usually, you know,
I could just pull up the thing on my phone
and look for it, and looking for it on my
laptop was just more difficult.

Speaker 8 (34:14):
Paint in the butt.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Oh wait, you had to go to Google.

Speaker 13 (34:17):
I wanted to door dash a stun gun and I
could do it on my phone easily.

Speaker 8 (34:21):
But if I look up, you know, online.

Speaker 11 (34:23):
Do we trust her with a stun gun? I mean, guys,
come on, no, thank you.

Speaker 8 (34:27):
It will never get used if we don't touch our phones.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
Okay, tell everyone why you want to door dash a
stun gun? Can you door dash his stun gun in
New York City? I didn't think that was possible.

Speaker 8 (34:36):
Well, we'll find I don't.

Speaker 11 (34:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 13 (34:37):
It's too tough to figure this out on my laptop
because we were talking about what is the accountability if
somebody actually goes for their phone or picks it up
and starts using it. And I have been saying for
a long time we need a studio taser or a
stun gun in here for multiple reasons. And I think
this would be a really good start to the new year,
starts the new policies.

Speaker 5 (34:56):
It'll be great.

Speaker 11 (34:57):
Fu he's gonna.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
Scotty B would know, Scotty, isn't it illegal to have
Is it illegal to have a stun gun in New
York City? I mean it wasn't when I bought it.
It could be now. I mean I've had it for years.

Speaker 11 (35:12):
So what did you buy it for?

Speaker 1 (35:13):
For you know, home protection apparently illegal in New York
now the state and the city. Wow, I think, well,
definitely everything's illegal in New York City.

Speaker 8 (35:25):
AI is telling me it's not illegal.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
A is never wrong, ever, A I should be illegal
in New York State? Have you noticed that scary still
sounds nasally today?

Speaker 11 (35:38):
You don't scary, and you're sucking on cough drops? So
how about that?

Speaker 8 (35:41):
And your face is swollen and you have brain.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
Fog, so I'll listen.

Speaker 24 (35:44):
I know some of you didn't here snowflakes, and so
I got a cough drop, just so I prevent that.

Speaker 14 (35:49):
I don't want anyone here to think that part of
the problem.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
You're just gargled. You just gargled.

Speaker 11 (35:55):
We just heard it sounds so congested.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
Let me ask you questions. Scary, why do you refuse
to want anyone to believe that you're a human being?
Human beings get cold, it's just the way it is.
Why why can't you just do that because you are?

Speaker 6 (36:09):
Don't?

Speaker 1 (36:10):
People are texting? And how I used that all congested?

Speaker 14 (36:13):
Oh, I don't feel under the weather though it.

Speaker 11 (36:15):
Doesn't mean anything. You could still have a head cold
and feel fine.

Speaker 13 (36:18):
I guess also can we acknowledge not wanting to get
sick with the flu a flying around and RSV and COVID.
I don't think that makes anyone a snowflake. It kind
of makes you a butthole for coughing on us.

Speaker 11 (36:30):
And you need to be careful because we do have
someone pregnant now on the staff, understood, and she really
cannot get sick.

Speaker 13 (36:36):
Dan has gotten COVID like eight times from you. It's crazy.

Speaker 24 (36:39):
I am not going near producer Sam. Okay, I'm not
going to her root. But you guys, I just feel
bad because I just want you to focus on what
we're doing here and not worry about little old me
hanging out with my little mini cough.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
No, no, no, no, we're we're we're no, no, no, We're
worried about little ol us. Yeah, I don't want to know.

Speaker 11 (36:56):
You're little whatever that is.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
You're like a water sprinkler of all sorts of disease,
and you're shooting it level of the room because you
do have a tendency of spinning when you speak and yell.

Speaker 8 (37:06):
He yells a lot, so that's coming out at us.

Speaker 11 (37:09):
Oh, everything's coming out of his mouth is in our area.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
All the germs are in us that see now now, okay, now,
let's stop down and figure this out, this conversation out.
We're without our phones for sixteen minutes now, and we're
all we're all like yelling at each other if.

Speaker 13 (37:24):
It makes you feel better. We were yelling at him before. Yes,
So that's just a continuous.

Speaker 14 (37:28):
The office has one, all right. And it's the people
that are like, no, no, no, not me.

Speaker 24 (37:33):
I'm just I'm just living my life here in the
middle of January with this the but little things are
going around a lot of different like bacterias.

Speaker 8 (37:42):
Are going around too.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
I'm not bacterias and funguses where so.

Speaker 14 (37:47):
But I personally am. Okay, if I was feeling under.

Speaker 24 (37:50):
The weather, if I had a sore throat or a
runny nose, or I had symptoms.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
You would not tell us. Now, you would not tell
us because that would that would admit that you are human.

Speaker 22 (37:59):
Dude.

Speaker 11 (37:59):
We found out that you were going to underground raves
during COVID to party with people were so I don't
trust anything that comes out of your mouth, that's for sure.

Speaker 13 (38:09):
We already decided if there were ever a zombie apocalypse
or some sort of like fungus that did take over.
We're killing him immediately with or without sign that's right,
just because you can't trust them.

Speaker 1 (38:18):
All right.

Speaker 5 (38:18):
Well that said, has this stunge gun arrived? No, I
feel like a stun gun on me?

Speaker 1 (38:25):
All right? Okay, So as we as we told you earlier,
if you're just turning us on, we are doing without
our phones today, and it's it's driving everyone kind of crazy.
I can tell, because we're now realizing we rely on
our phones for so many things other than mindless crap
that we look at online that gets us nowhere in life.
We do rely on our phones for way too many things, right, Nate?

Speaker 5 (38:48):
Think of how many devices it replaced you when we
went to commercials just a second ago, You're like, how
am I going to know when to come back?

Speaker 1 (38:54):
Because you set a timer on your Zune?

Speaker 14 (38:57):
You use it for an alarm.

Speaker 5 (38:59):
Clock, a kim uh what other calculator? How many other
devices has that replaced in your daily life when you
don't have.

Speaker 11 (39:08):
Even your walling because when you go to the house,
you can pay from your phone.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
Yes, absolutely, all right, Well, luckily there's nothing for sale
in this room, so we're good for that, all right.
But One of the things I'm doing and we're talking
about this is well, snacks. We got snacks for the road.
I feel like we're on a road trip. I need
a bag of combos now, so a slim gym would
be nice.

Speaker 5 (39:28):
But I do have some cereal. I' gonna talk about
that in a second. You want to talk about that, Yeah, okay,
we'll get into that. Plus, I do believe we have
three things we need to know from Gandhi that'll keep
her busy. For three things. You don't have to worry
about that, all right, Gandi, what's going on?

Speaker 13 (39:42):
All right, let's start with I'm sorry now that my
computer wants to freeze.

Speaker 4 (39:46):
Okay.

Speaker 13 (39:47):
Minnesota Governor Tim Walltz is authorizing the state's National Guard
to help support local law enforcement following tensions in Minneapolis
after that ice involved shooting where a woman was killed
on Wednesday.

Speaker 8 (39:57):
A Press relief press release.

Speaker 13 (39:59):
From his offic says that the support will be to
help protect critical infrastructure.

Speaker 8 (40:03):
And maintain public safety.

Speaker 13 (40:04):
The statement went on to thank Minnesotans for having met
this moment, saying there's every reason.

Speaker 11 (40:10):
To believe that peace will hold.

Speaker 13 (40:13):
Luigi Mangioni will be back in court today the twenty
seven year old we know is accused of fatally shooting
a healthcare executive on a New York City sidewalk. He'll
be in a Manhattan court room for a pre trial hearing.
Mangioni is facing nine counts, including second degree murder, and
is pleading not guilty. In today's hearing, his lawyers will
be asking the judge to toss out too of the

(40:33):
four federal counts against him, including one count of murder
through use of a firearm. And finally, we've been talking
a lot about GLP ones. It seems so many people
are taking them and have a lot of questions, and
a new study says that people who stop taking the
weight loss injections are very likely to regain their weight
within two years. New research published by the British Medical

(40:56):
Journal looked at the weight loss medications sold under the
brand name's Ozempa, we Go, viat Moncharro and Zepp found
It found that those who take the drugs off and
start regaining weight within a month after stopping that medication,
and that all of the user's weight loss will likely.

Speaker 8 (41:10):
Be regained within two years.

Speaker 13 (41:11):
Because many people are not making lifestyle changes and they're
seeing the lifestyle change with taking it is what makes
the biggest difference, and those are your three things.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
Giving up your phone doesn't help with this weight gain.

Speaker 8 (41:22):
Either, not if we're replacing it with food.

Speaker 5 (41:24):
I know, all right, I think we have a phone
tap coming up in it's a couple of minutes, all right,
hanging out.

Speaker 6 (41:31):
Was going on.

Speaker 11 (41:31):
This is terrazzy track and it is Stemmy Levaro with
Elvis Duran in the Morning show.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
Hey, so while we were at jingle Ball in Miami,
we met this incredible guy, Peter Harris from Grainberry Cereals.
I've seen Grainberry's Grainberry cereals for years, and I know
that Daniel says, oh my god, we love Grainberry in
our house, right that my.

Speaker 11 (41:50):
Husband Sheldon is so obsessed with this cereal. He was
so excited that we actually got to meet him, the
guy that makes the cereal. He was so happy.

Speaker 1 (41:58):
And now they're giving us the key to the grainhouse. Yeah,
because now we're talking about how much we love Grainberry.
I am enjoying my Grainberry cinnamon frosted Look at this
Whole Grains shredded wheat cereal with onyx sorghum. There's a
lot of stuff going on in this box to tell
us about how healthy this cereal truly is. Yeah, we're

(42:20):
talking about plant based fiber and antioxidants, lower in sugar.
This is heart healthy stuff. You know, you grew up
with big brands like Kelloggs and stuff like that, Danielle, Yeah,
of course. And I like this brand because it's like
a homegrown brand.

Speaker 11 (42:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
They went to Texas A and M and they used
their agriculture department to tell them, please help us come
up with the best ingredients for the most healthy cereal.
And it was good.

Speaker 11 (42:45):
And yeah, exactly, I was gonna say that, like, not
only is it healthy for you, it's good. Like we
have the original toasted oats at home. That's our favorite,
and it is so delicious. So you don't realize that
you're doing better for your body, you know what I mean,
because you're loving what you're eating, which is great.

Speaker 1 (43:01):
So join us as we continue to tell our our
story about how we're making the switch to all things grainberry.
They have amazing cereals to choose from toasted original toasta
notes and bran flakes and cinnamon frosted apple, cinnamon, shredded.

Speaker 5 (43:14):
Wheat, honey nuts, grainberry raisin bran. They got everything for
everyone and it tastes great. So look for grainberry in
the cereal aisle and pick up a.

Speaker 4 (43:22):
Box in the morning show.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
So frustrated, Why why oh are we on? Yeah? I'm
trying to. I'm trying to sign on on my laptop
to my email account and I can't because it's telling
me it sent a code to my phone.

Speaker 11 (43:48):
Yes that's right.

Speaker 1 (43:50):
So I'm finding a different way. Find another way, try
another way. Ah, all right, okay, we'll figure that out.

Speaker 5 (43:57):
Okay, no doubt we'll figure that. Yeah, we're phoneless. We're
phoneless for another two and a half hours. Okay.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Liberating. I feel like I could take on the world.

Speaker 11 (44:07):
I love this.

Speaker 1 (44:07):
Well, well, I'm liking it too, But I'm trying to
do a show here. I'm trying to do things. Gani says,
I got a great new game. It's part two of
the joy Germ game. Remember the joy Germ of Music
we played yesterday. I mean, oh my god, that was
a big thing. People love that music. It made him
feel good, all right, So I said, where is it?
She said, it's in your email box. So I'm looking
for it. Can't get to it because I gotta sign

(44:28):
on my phone to get into my email box.

Speaker 13 (44:30):
But then there's another way we could do it, but
then that would involve me touching my phone to get
it to you that way, So I don't know if
I could do that.

Speaker 1 (44:37):
It's so it's not in your email at all.

Speaker 8 (44:40):
Uh yeah, yeah, yeah it is.

Speaker 1 (44:41):
Then you can't you sign on on your email and
your laptop.

Speaker 8 (44:44):
I can do that, but then where do you want
me to send it?

Speaker 1 (44:47):
Oh? You could put it in the slack.

Speaker 11 (44:48):
But I can't do that on my laptop and I
only see the slack on my phone.

Speaker 1 (44:52):
Yeah, okay, here's what you do. You go to Okay,
maybe I got it. I got it. Okay, you go
to your You go to the email on your lab top,
get the list, print it, hand it to someone in
the back, like like Andrew, who's not doing this phone experiment,
and have him take care of it.

Speaker 8 (45:10):
Okay, Andrew, come in here. Okay, we got this.

Speaker 1 (45:14):
Don't text him because he can't. Yeah, all right, Now,
can I go back to something else we heard during
the break there during the song, we're talking to Scotty
B about his jumping jack routine. Yeah, god, yes, all right,
so he does. Right, he turns his shower on to
get the water and icon hot, and wile it's warming up,
he does jumping jacks naked. I need an exercise naked naked. Yes,

(45:37):
So the question we have is is it like like
we're all wondering, is it flopping around and slapping your stomach?
What are you doing?

Speaker 25 (45:44):
It's cold in the bathroom, so no, okay, it doesn't
even get to your stomach.

Speaker 1 (45:50):
A little bit.

Speaker 11 (45:51):
Yeah, first.

Speaker 1 (45:56):
The parts that droops down. So having jumping jacks do
you do? Is this a morning ritual?

Speaker 6 (46:02):
No?

Speaker 1 (46:02):
No, I do.

Speaker 25 (46:03):
I shower at night, so as the water is heating up,
I will do jumping jocks until it's hot, so usually
about twenty five or thirty okay, just to get the
blood flowing. So yeah, and then when I come out,
I do that. I do that slap on my ass,
the naked slap. I don't know why. I just look
in the mirror as I put.

Speaker 1 (46:20):
The towel on, and you slap your ass. Oh yeah,
I don't know why. I just do it.

Speaker 11 (46:24):
And then can we talk about the other thing he
does or not?

Speaker 1 (46:27):
No, I don't know what I'm talking about. What else
does he do. We don't talk about it. Don't talk sure,
I just look I like to dab that's oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, here,
they're right. We shouldn't. No, we took a vote, Danielle.
We can't talk about it.

Speaker 11 (46:38):
Anytime I think like I have a lot of issues,
I just think of him.

Speaker 1 (46:42):
Yes, if I make you feel better about yourself, you
really do.

Speaker 11 (46:46):
Thank you, Scott.

Speaker 1 (46:47):
Daniel did that.

Speaker 8 (46:49):
I not tell her any more things about you're super
weird guy.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
He's just a weird guy. All right, Danielle. Let's get
some Danielle report in here and we have a phone
tap on the way. Daniel Europe. First, what's going on?

Speaker 11 (46:59):
So teller swiftly. He's the twenty twenty six iHeartRadio Music
Awards nominations with nine nods, ahead of Bad Bunnies Sabrina
Carpenter and Alex Warren with eight each. The show airs
March twenty six live on Fox at eight pm Eastern,
and we'll also be heard on iHeart Radio stations and
of course the iHeart Radio app And it celebrates the
most played artists and songs of twenty twenty five, and

(47:20):
of course there's a lot of new categories like favorite
TikTok Dance, favorite debut album, Favorite K pop collab. Social
voting will run up to March nineteenth, and it's so
great because you know, the fans get to vote, which
is awesome. My favorite category, you know, the favorite Broadway Debut.
So many good ones in there. But vote for your
faves now. The Vevo Bureau of Prisons released Fetiwop this

(47:43):
week to home confinement after serving three years. He'd been
sentenced to six years after pleading guilty in twenty twenty
two to drug charges. He released a statement yesterday saying
I want to thank my family, friends and fans for
the love, prayers and continued support. I'm committed to moving
foe with purpose. So you know he got out early
why due to good behavior we have? So let's talk

(48:12):
about Bruno Mars. We are all loving Bruno's new song,
which when are we playing it again?

Speaker 1 (48:18):
Like?

Speaker 11 (48:19):
Okay? It's called I Just Might and it is from
his new album The Romantic and that is coming out.
When did I say? That's coming on in February, so
that's on the way. And also he's going on tour
to support this. His first date is in Vegas on
April tenth and then he's gonna go all over the
place and presale begins at noon on Wednesday, January twelfth,
and then general ticket sales happened the next day. Also,

(48:42):
Britney Spears says that she will never perform in the
United States again. She said that it's some sensitive reasons,
but she's open to performing other places. So now Copacabana
Beach Concert in Brazil is hoping to get her. So
we'll say. Cardi b is running up the budget for
the Little Miss Drama tour. She kicked off rehearsals in
La this week and she was talking all about it

(49:03):
and she says, yeah, I'm a couple of million on
my budget over my budget. So she said that she
may have to dip into her own pockets to cover
the difference if the investors won't. But she is promising
to give all of her fans an amazing show and
their money's worth. So there you go. And why are
we watching this weekend? There's so much on. You've got
a lot of NFL Wild Card games, of course, people

(49:24):
we meet on vacation of Romantic Comedy on Netflix. Don't
forget the Golden Globes are on and figure skating is
on as well, and that is my Danielle report.

Speaker 1 (49:33):
We need someone let me speak to the manager. Coming
up in like twenty minutes, so along with by the way,
the new Bruno Marsong. So if you have a little
question for us, you have a comment about the show,
we can take it. We can handle it. So that'll
be coming up in twenty minutes. You want a phone tap, yeah,
don't answer the phone.

Speaker 4 (49:51):
Elvis Duran, the Elvis Duran phone tap.

Speaker 1 (49:54):
Today, Garrett doing today's phone tap. Dear Elvis. My daughter
Nicole has been waiting and waiting for a furniture delivery
over six weeks. Every day she waits by the window
for ups to arrive with it still no furniture. Why
don't you say you're from the furniture store call her
up and say, eh, there's no furniture on the way. Sorry,
Watch her go nuts? All right? So mom Maria is

(50:17):
playing a phone tap on Dotter Nicole, along with her
husband Eddie getting in on the action. The call starts
out with our Garrett calling Nicole to let her in
on the bad news. Hello, Hey, is Nicole there? Please?

Speaker 2 (50:30):
Hi, This is justin from the furniture Your husband just
gave me your number. Yes, okay, we kind of misplaced
your order.

Speaker 23 (50:39):
You're kidding me, right.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
The good thing is we do have other couches we
can offer you for now now. Unfortunately the ones that
you did want have been shipped out to another family.

Speaker 23 (50:49):
This is ridiculous. Then I want to cancel the order.

Speaker 2 (50:52):
The company policy is that once the payment is made,
we cannot refund you. And that's why I'm trying to
help you out with a new order. You're blaming the messenger.

Speaker 23 (51:03):
I don't understand that.

Speaker 15 (51:04):
You know what.

Speaker 23 (51:05):
I'm laughing because I'm gonna go ballistic in a minute.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
But we do have a nice little dark lavender and
one red couch we can.

Speaker 23 (51:11):
I'm dealing with it. I don't want your lavender couches.
I don't want your green couches, orange couch.

Speaker 1 (51:17):
I just want to, like I said, we have a
lavender and a red.

Speaker 23 (51:20):
Day You're not getting it.

Speaker 1 (51:22):
I'm trying to help you here. I'm trying to be
your ambassador.

Speaker 23 (51:24):
Okay, if I can't have to catch it orders, I
want my money back.

Speaker 1 (51:27):
There's our problem.

Speaker 23 (51:28):
Well, then I'll call my credit card company and I'll
cancel it.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
We're giving you a couch, but you're not willing to
accept it.

Speaker 23 (51:34):
You're right, I don't want a purple couch. Would you
want a purple couch?

Speaker 1 (51:37):
I have no problem with a purple couch.

Speaker 23 (51:39):
A purple couch doesn't go with my motif, and I
don't want a purple couch.

Speaker 1 (51:43):
Please don't use big words.

Speaker 23 (51:46):
God Heaven, I don't. I don't want the couches.

Speaker 1 (51:49):
Okay, hold on.

Speaker 2 (51:50):
My manager's back in the room. I'll see if I
can get your money back. Now she wants to put me.

Speaker 10 (52:01):
Hello, colonel, are you talking to I was.

Speaker 1 (52:04):
Just speaking with my manager. Unfortunately, will not be able
to get you your money back.

Speaker 23 (52:07):
I don't know who you are, but you're you're you're
not very professional. I want to go. I'm gonna have
my husband go down there and take care of it.
Thank you.

Speaker 10 (52:16):
Hello, Nicole. Yeah, the guy from the furnish store is
calling here.

Speaker 23 (52:21):
He's been calling me too. I don't want red catches.
I don't want orange catches. I want a money back.
That's what I want.

Speaker 10 (52:28):
He said, that's not happening.

Speaker 23 (52:31):
What did I Why did he come from him?

Speaker 10 (52:34):
I did say something to him?

Speaker 23 (52:36):
What you said? No problem to.

Speaker 10 (52:40):
Your your catch you're the one that started this, not me.

Speaker 23 (52:45):
I don't give it. I want my money back, and
if I don't get it back, I'll get somebody to
get it back from me.

Speaker 10 (52:51):
He's on the line.

Speaker 23 (52:52):
So the line, how did you get him on the line?

Speaker 2 (52:56):
He understood where we're coming from, and he understood that
our couches that we are willing to give you are
more expensive than the cheap things.

Speaker 23 (53:03):
Don't care if they're ten thousand dollars. I don't want
purple pouches.

Speaker 1 (53:08):
Mister Sanchez is she always liked this?

Speaker 10 (53:10):
Unfortunately, Are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (53:13):
I feel sorry for you, sarh.

Speaker 23 (53:14):
Yeah, I have to go. I'm not going to entertain this.
I don't know who you want. Where you come from?

Speaker 2 (53:19):
You know where I come from. This is Garret from
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. Hi, you got phone tapped?

Speaker 23 (53:30):
Got me mom?

Speaker 11 (53:31):
I'm tying hearing about those catches Elvis.

Speaker 4 (53:35):
Duran's phone tap.

Speaker 25 (53:37):
This phone tab was pre recorded with permission granted by
All tart Sperience the.

Speaker 18 (53:41):
Elvis Duran phone tab only on Elvis Duran in the
Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (53:48):
On nine eleven, We vowed to never forget Help America
keep that promise by donating eleven dollars a month to
the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T two t dot org.
That's t the number two t dot org. Across the question.

Speaker 2 (54:04):
Listening, Listen, listening, see it out, Good morning listening.

Speaker 4 (54:12):
I am here in New Jersey listening from Sunday. Good
morning guys, from Billy.

Speaker 3 (54:17):
From Virginia, from Ohio.

Speaker 6 (54:25):
George, I love you guys.

Speaker 5 (54:33):
Good morning Alister in What a busy day we have
ahead of us.

Speaker 4 (54:37):
I feel like I'm hanging out with my best friends.

Speaker 1 (54:45):
Let's have a show, keep on, keep it on. Thank
you very much on the morning show. Turn turn it out.
I love him so much.

Speaker 27 (54:58):
Put an album anyway. Welcome to Friday, Welcome to the weekend.
And uh so we have got we have gotten ourselves
through one hour of being cell phoneless.

Speaker 4 (55:09):
Oh good for.

Speaker 8 (55:09):
Us, We're already at an hour.

Speaker 1 (55:11):
Yeah, and I realized something. I was telling you this
to everyone during the song there. I don't miss it
because we're usually so busy during the show. I don't
have time to start, you know, thumbing around on Instagram
or whatever. I don't. I don't. Isn't that funny? Scary?
Is one of the busiest guys in the room and
he finds the time to do it. That that's that's
very telling to me, just saying how are you guys

(55:34):
doing though, how are you feeling?

Speaker 8 (55:36):
I think it's right now a whole real conversation you did.

Speaker 1 (55:43):
Yeah, it was with the wall.

Speaker 8 (55:47):
To say yeah.

Speaker 1 (55:49):
Anyway, we do have coming up in a moment. We'll
have a moment to go check your text if you
really want to, I'm gonna I'm gonna go without. I'm
not gonna do it neither neither. I'm not gonna do it.
By the way, people are confused. If you text us
at fifty five one hundred, it doesn't go to our phones.
It goes to our laptops. So that's why we can
read your texts. I'm about to play the brand new

(56:10):
Bruno Mars song here on New Music Friday. We love it.
You're gonna love it too. That's coming up in a second.
But now it is time for us to do another
very important thing we do. Let me speak to the manager.
So you have a complaint or you have a question
or a suggestion. By the way, can we go back
to turn it down? Scaries? Wait? You a lite if

(56:32):
you have a complaint. Keep it gentle and don't be
an ass. Yeah you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 11 (56:36):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (56:37):
Just be polite and you know, find a way to
give us constructive criticism if you need to, or if
you have a suggestion that could help the show. We
would love to hear it, because God only knows. We
could always use some help, don't we all need help
from time to time? All right, so you can text
us at fifty five one hundred, or you can call
Diamond now, better way, just call her. We want to

(56:57):
hear your voice. Eight hundred two four to zero one hundred.
Let me speak to the manager at eight hundred two
four two zero one hundred. Brand new, Bruno Mars, I
just might Bruno Mars, brand New, I just might. And
we kind of think it sounds a little like this,
but better, let me just say, much better than this

(57:19):
old song. Listen to it? Okay, here we go. Can't
you hear it a little bit?

Speaker 14 (57:34):
A little bit?

Speaker 11 (57:36):
Just stop up?

Speaker 1 (57:45):
Sort of that funny?

Speaker 6 (58:00):
All right? All right?

Speaker 1 (58:00):
Right? So yeah, okay, so it's that and then it's
this right here, Bruno Mars and his new song. Yeah,
there's deafinitly shades of it but Bruno Mars so much better.
I'm sorry.

Speaker 22 (58:17):
You step the sad above a.

Speaker 1 (58:22):
All right, all right, right, there's no lawsuit there, but
I mean but you can hear little shades.

Speaker 11 (58:27):
Of it, right, I mean, yeah, it's awesome.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
Yeah, there you go. Anyway, brand new from Bruno Mars is.
His tour begins in Las Vegas at is it amerind arena,
I believe, allegiance, state allegiance. It's one of those A
words that has an arena. The tenth in April and
a month and then he's doing a global tour. And

(58:52):
it's been about ten years since he's done anything like this.
So we're so excited to get Bruno back out on
the road. I hope he comes to see us, all right,
So you know, without you, we're nothing. So it's time
for let me speak to the manager. Complaints, suggestions, anything
that's on your mind, or it's time to talk to compliments. Hey,

(59:16):
you know what, let's not forget that compliments. All right,
let's go talk to Jimmy Lyne too. Maybe a compliment,
maybe a complaint. I don't know, Jimmy, what is it?
Speak to the manager?

Speaker 21 (59:27):
Go right ahead, Hello, lady, Good morning everyone.

Speaker 1 (59:30):
He's in a good mood. This could be good. All right,
go ahead.

Speaker 21 (59:35):
Yeah, this is for Danielle. I just have to thank
you so much because I have taken myself off of
social media for about a week and a half now
that means everything, Instagram, Facebook, X, you name it, and
I have just been feeling so good about everything. I've
been getting more in touch with nature, and I've been
doing crossword puzzles and I just wanted to thank you

(59:58):
so much.

Speaker 11 (59:58):
Oh my gosh, your well, that's so awesome. I'm so
happy for you because I'm telling you it really doesn't
I mean, even just now with us putting our phones
down for the last hour, it makes such a difference.
And I'm so glad you're enjoying yourself.

Speaker 21 (01:00:11):
So maybe since.

Speaker 1 (01:00:15):
Let me ask you a question, Jimmy, maybe we need
your help on something. Maybe it's not the phone, it's
the social media exactly. I mean, we could still use
our phones for all the things and tools that we
depend on. It's wasting time on social media that's the problem.
Would you think to be it.

Speaker 21 (01:00:33):
Jimmy, Absolutely, I would spend like I would say, seven
hours a day on social media, just like drowning myself
going down rabbit hole out the rabbit hole, and I'm like,
it's not a way to live, really, But like I said,
I've been feeling great. I might not even go back
on for a whole year.

Speaker 1 (01:00:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 11 (01:00:51):
Yeah, I love all right.

Speaker 1 (01:00:55):
If it's just a good feeling.

Speaker 21 (01:00:56):
I've been getting back in touch with everything, you know before,
like we had smartphones and we had all all this
social media and everything. Like I missed the oldies. You know,
I'm a nineties kid, so I miss all that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
Yeah, all right, Jimmy, that is so well put. And
you made us think about this. Let's rethink this lack
of phone thing and think more about lack of social
media thing. Jimmy, thank you very much for calling. Let
me speak to the manager.

Speaker 7 (01:01:18):
You guys, I.

Speaker 21 (01:01:18):
Love you so much. You guys are amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
Oh, thank you, Jimmy, thank you so much. All right,
let me speak to the manager. Continues. We go to
Amy in Bangor Maine. All right, this may be a
complain all right, music, goodbye music, goodbye e scary music.
All right, Amy, go right ahead, speak to the manager.

Speaker 28 (01:01:41):
It's so funny because I actually usually am the manager.

Speaker 21 (01:01:43):
People are asking to speak to.

Speaker 28 (01:01:48):
My complaint is that when I text into the show,
there's no response. I don't want expect you guys to
respond to everything that's ridiculous, But even just a hey,
you've sexted Elvis rand in the Morning Show, there's nothing
like that. So I have this constant fear anytime I
text in that the random person is getting these little

(01:02:09):
like snippets of conversation that mean nothing to them.

Speaker 1 (01:02:13):
Huh, fine, well that's not the case. Let me tell
you how our system works, and maybe this will shine
some light on this. So we all have our laptops open,
and when we have a moment we can we can
look at social media and texts. Okay, I know Diamond
is in there looking at texts. I know that some
of us are looking at them off and on. And
when we can catch one and answer them, we do,

(01:02:36):
and when we can't, we can't. So we may see
the things you say ninety percent of the time. Is
that accurate? Maybe we can't always take the time to
respond because this system is antiquated. It takes it takes
like fifteen different things to just answer one one text
step process. It's it's it's ridiculous. So can you tell

(01:02:57):
us some of the things that you've texted in that
you did not get a re sponse on that you
felt you should have.

Speaker 28 (01:03:03):
Oh gosh, well see, I'm not I'm not an entitled person,
so I'm not somebody that's sitting there going I should
have gotten a response to that.

Speaker 1 (01:03:11):
Well wait, but you just did that. You just didn't.
You just did say that you texted, and you get
no response.

Speaker 28 (01:03:17):
I guess I just want confirmation, but I'm not texting.

Speaker 13 (01:03:22):
Okay, Gandhi, what do you think said some sort of confirmation?

Speaker 8 (01:03:26):
I thought we did.

Speaker 13 (01:03:29):
Ok yeah, okay, so hopefully she got that one at
some point.

Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
It's not totally that's automated one. Yeah, the one you're
talking about, Gandhi's automated. It's like, thank you, thank it's
not human at all. We're trying to be more human.
We're trying to be more human around here.

Speaker 28 (01:03:45):
I didn't even get that one, which tells me that, yeah,
I've probably actually been texting.

Speaker 8 (01:03:50):
You're texting someone else for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
Okay, so if we had someone that solely devoted to
texting back, that would be nice. If we can find
that in the.

Speaker 11 (01:04:01):
Let's hire somebody.

Speaker 13 (01:04:03):
It's kind of fun, though, that every now and then,
like anyone can text back, because you can send something
snarky and then no one knows if it was you
or somebody.

Speaker 5 (01:04:09):
Else exactly, Not that I would ever do that, no never.

Speaker 1 (01:04:14):
All right, well, excellent, you know nice nice. Let me
speak to the manager. Entry from our friend Amy and
bangor Maine, And all right, why do we try to
figure this out? We have a better system of responding
to texts? Okay, yep, all right, who's responsible for that?
If we all pitch in, I think we can all
that's no, no, no, I think one person needs to be responsible.

Speaker 11 (01:04:38):
He's gonna love that most.

Speaker 1 (01:04:42):
All right, thank you very much, any food for thought,
and thank you for listening. Have a great weekend. Let's
see Michael from Richmond listening to Q ninety four. Right, Michael,
good morning, Hello lady, Well, hello lady, and well come
to let me speak to the manager. Go right ahead,

(01:05:04):
what's going on?

Speaker 20 (01:05:06):
I would love if you guys talk more. I love
the music, don't get me wrong, but when you guys
talk and you laugh and giggle, it is the funniest
thing and it makes my drive home so much better.

Speaker 1 (01:05:18):
So if we had more talk breaks and less music.

Speaker 20 (01:05:25):
Yeah, like love the music, love the music, but I
also just love like I love hearing Danielle's laugh, I
love hearing Gandhi poke fun at everybody.

Speaker 1 (01:05:33):
It's just so much fun.

Speaker 20 (01:05:35):
Okay everything it's high school and I'm thirty now.

Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
So like.

Speaker 8 (01:05:41):
You, he wants us to walk more. I appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (01:05:44):
I like that. And what you're saying is nothing but
a compliment. So here's the thing. Think that through, be
careful what you wish for.

Speaker 11 (01:05:52):
Maybe we should ask mister program director what he thinks
about that.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
Mister program director, what would happen if we just didn't
play all this music and we just talked the worst
idea of all time? Like perfectly? Today we got the
brand new Brutal Bos and you want to play that?
It is? Yeah, so you're saying we can bump. So

(01:06:16):
you're saying, here, Michael, we could talk and go, oh
my god, let's talk about the new Bruno Mars song
and then we play it then come back to talking. Okay,
I would listen to that. I would turn this off
and listen to that. I think that's a good idea
for a show. Then, but we have to take pee breaks.
We urinate a lot to show a lot, drink a

(01:06:37):
lot of water. We need microphones at the urinals. All right,
all right, so we have heard this complaint before. People
say we'd rather hear you talk than we can get
the music anywhere, is what people say. The course always
says that, right, all right, Uh, all right, let's think
that through. So we need response to texts and we

(01:06:58):
need to talk more and play less music. Okay, mister
program director is against it, but everyone else is kind
of thinking about it. Mister miss program director, can you
rethink that? No?

Speaker 11 (01:07:08):
Okay, don't answer so quickly.

Speaker 1 (01:07:13):
Okay, thank you very much, Michael. Line three is Taylor
up in Connecticut, and uh she's got a complaint. Oh
my god, let me speak to the manager and make
a complaint. All right, go right, head right ahead, Taylor,
what is your complaint?

Speaker 26 (01:07:27):
So my complaint is I called probably two to three
weeks maybe around Christmas. Diamond picked up. She was fantastic,
She said I was going to play a game. She
was going to call me back. She never did.

Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
Oh, can we turn on the diamond microphone and see
what's going on? Diamond, Diamond, we have a complaint against
you and you put her through which I find very interesting.
What's going on?

Speaker 29 (01:07:52):
Well, I don't remember this. I don't recall.

Speaker 6 (01:08:00):
It.

Speaker 1 (01:08:01):
Is it possible that we wanted her to do a
game and we're going to call her back and then
we ran out of time and didn't do the game,
or mostly.

Speaker 29 (01:08:10):
She sounds like she's given good energy, so I would
love to get her on, but you know, I don't know.
We must have run out of time.

Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
Okay, Gandhi has an idea, yes, gone, Well, I.

Speaker 13 (01:08:19):
Also think this is actually just stepping in for Diamond
a little bit. Something that is ruining her life at
the moment is the call screener that everybody now has
on their phone, because we call and it shows up
from an unknown number or a number that you you
don't have in your phone, so they don't go through.

Speaker 8 (01:08:33):
They don't even get through.

Speaker 13 (01:08:34):
So when Diamond tries to call people, she has to
call multiple times and leave messages and hope that someone answers.

Speaker 1 (01:08:38):
So it's kind of there is that. I have an
idea though, we do have a game coming up, right, Yes,
who's eating cereal?

Speaker 6 (01:08:45):
All right?

Speaker 11 (01:08:46):
That's me, my fingers in the thing.

Speaker 1 (01:08:48):
In the cereal. We're doing it on our phones today,
So we're eating. We've got to we're all eating snacks.
Some of them are louder than others. I get it,
you know, totally understood. I tell you what we're gonna do.
Let's just have her do the next game. I have
to Taylor to do the next game.

Speaker 11 (01:09:08):
Service.

Speaker 1 (01:09:09):
Are we all okay with that? All right? All right,
all right, we're gonna call you back, all right, and
if you're available, we'll do with the game with you
and I. If we can't get through, then you know,
you know, sol, but we're gonna do that next Okay, okay,
we also have to do around the room. We have
to get that going here. We'll figure it all out,

(01:09:31):
and thank you for being part of Let me speak
to the manager and look a solution. We finally have
a solution for one of our many complaints. It's all good.
Let me speak to the manager. Everyone. Fabulous job, fabulous job.
Still we're phoneless. We've been phoneless for over two hours
now or one hour? Yeah, god, it seems like longer.

Speaker 14 (01:09:47):
I can just imagine the text pilot up right now.

Speaker 11 (01:09:50):
No texting, you don't want to.

Speaker 1 (01:09:51):
They'll get into the three things we need to know.

Speaker 5 (01:09:53):
We have to go around the room coming up and
we will do a game with our friend Taylor up
a Connecticut.

Speaker 1 (01:09:59):
All right, hang on for all that, Let's get into
the three things. What's up? Gandhi?

Speaker 4 (01:10:02):
All right?

Speaker 13 (01:10:02):
Tensions are high and a couple of American cities following
a pair of high profile incidents involving federal agents. Protests
have not stopped in Minneapolis since Wednesday's deadly shooting of
a thirty seven year old woman by an Ice agent.
The Feds have claimed the victim was attempting to harm
the agent with her vehicle, while video from the scene
appears too many to contradict that version of events. In Portland, Oregon,

(01:10:23):
Homeland Security agents say they were attempting a traffic stop
on an alleged Venezuelan gang member yesterday when that driver
tried to run over an agent and shots were fired, sending.

Speaker 8 (01:10:33):
Two people to the hospital.

Speaker 13 (01:10:35):
Governor Newsom of California says homelessness is going down. It's
down ten point three percent in La County, nineteen percent
in Riverside County, and thirty four point eight percent in
Contra Costa County. Last year, the nationwide homeless rate went
up more than eighteen percent. He is crediting state initiatives
like care Court, which connects people with untreated psychosis to
court ordered services, as well as housing. Newsom also credits

(01:10:58):
voters for passing props on, which created nearly six point
four billion dollars in funding to address the homelessness there.
And finally, this is very on topic for what we've
been talking about all morning. Half of Americans say that
they are more disconnected than ever, but in a good way.
According to new research a survey of two thousand Americans,
over fifty percent said that they've made a point to

(01:11:19):
disconnect digitally and spend less time on screens for their
well being. Young Americans are trailblazing this trend, with more
Gen Z and Millennials getting offline than Gen X and
Baby boomers. The study was conducted by Talker Research on
behalf of Thrift Books and revealed that Gen Z and
Millennials are also more likely than Gen X and Baby
Boomers to have a designated screen free time in their day.

(01:11:42):
If you are wondering why, respondents said that being digitally
disconnected makes them feel more productive, more present for their
loved ones, and aware of the goings on in their
daily lives and when they notice, Yeah, I mean we're
all saying that even within just a couple hours, right,
they're also saying that when they notice they're spending too
much on time. One people reported feeling overwhelmed, anxious, irritable,

(01:12:03):
and unsatisfied with their lives. So maybe get off the phones, everybody,
And those are your three things.

Speaker 1 (01:12:09):
We've been off our phones for an hour and fifteen minutes.
I don't feel more satisfied. I just don't not at all.
All right, coming up, we've got to go around the
room and we'll get Taylor back on here to play
a game. So good, I think we're solving solving problems.
This is good with me.

Speaker 4 (01:12:26):
The Morning Show on Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (01:12:32):

Speaker 4 (01:12:52):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
Whoa so much going on? First of all, we're working
without phones. We put our phones away. Yeah, and we
have since found in this past hour and twenty five minutes,
of having no phones that it really isn't about all
the stuff we use our phones for. It work because
we use our phones a lot, look things up, to
send each other messages about the show, and this and that,

(01:13:16):
make notes from ye you know, read notes from yesterday
for the show today. We need our phones for those things.
It's the social media that really bogs us down at night,
in the afternoons when we're not doing the show. This
is crystal clear now it is with me. I don't
know if it is with you guys as well. Yep,
very much so exactly like I need to do things.

(01:13:37):
I need to make an appointment for my dog and
in a vet appointment, I got to look this up
and that up, and timers and you know, I can't
can't use it, can't use it. But we'll get our
phones back. So people wondering why, well, because there's an
addiction to phones in this country and around the world.
We know that. I'm reading some texts here, this one
after listening to you guys yesterday talking about how you

(01:13:59):
were going to do a show with no phones. I
also did that in my own home. I made my
entire family, three girls and their teens between ages of whatever,
and ever put their cell phones away for the entire morning.
They thought it was torture at first, But I can
confidently and one hundred percent say that our morning went
much smoother and was less overwhelming than it's ever been.

(01:14:20):
Good That policy is going to affect full time, thanks
to you and your advice. Here's another one on the
topic of no phones. I'm forty one years old. When
Facebook came out, I was addicted, posting all the time,
always checking. Over the past few years, I realized people
don't need to know my life. I'll post here and there,
and I really even go on. I'll go on maybe

(01:14:40):
a minute here and there, all social media just for
a moment. I'll use the phone for games and shopping
and reading up. I realized social media isn't all that great.
It makes more problems for me than not so lots
of it's just useless information, stupidity and immaturity and trolls
in bad opinion. Yeah, and there you go, which contributes

(01:15:03):
to your algorithms, which forms you into the person you
are without you knowing it. Right, I added that that
wasn't from the text. I ended that parmises anyway, So yeah,
think about how you use your phone. It's not the
time you you're on your screen, it's what you're reading
on your screen, how you're participating, participating with your screen.
I guess that's it. Any of the thoughts on that, No.

Speaker 8 (01:15:23):
It's one hundred percent true.

Speaker 13 (01:15:24):
If they talk about how you know, like a cluttered
desk is as a cluttered life, and then imagine what
your feet is like for your brain.

Speaker 11 (01:15:30):
Also, oh forget it.

Speaker 8 (01:15:31):
You clutter up with junk and you think junk.

Speaker 1 (01:15:34):
Yep, right, scary. We're about to go around the room
in a few moments after the game, yep. And he said, well,
my around the room segment was in my notes on
my phone. Now I have nothing to say.

Speaker 24 (01:15:44):
I go throughout my day, I write stuff down in
my notes section on my phone, and I don't have
that with me.

Speaker 14 (01:15:49):
So I'm gonna come up. You know, I have something.

Speaker 24 (01:15:51):
Actually that I want to say. Well, you think I
wouldn't have used, but I'm gonna use this because okay, okay,
we'll get to that.

Speaker 1 (01:15:56):
In a minute. You're gonna You're gonna get to that
in a minute, I promise. But anyway, right now, let's
get back to our friend Taylor here's the thing. Taylor
called let me speak to the manager segment and said, well,
I don't feel like you guys ever respond to me
when I text the show at fifty five one hundred.
I don't feel like I get any communication with you. No,

(01:16:19):
that wasn't Taylor's. That was a different one. That was
a different complaint. Oh I know what it was. Taylor
was supposed to play a game or something, and Diamond
said she called her back, and Diamond never called her back,
and she I'm mad. All right, that's that one. Well,
so we said, well we'll screw it. We'll do a
game with Taylor. Taylor, let's do a game. You ready
to do it?

Speaker 11 (01:16:36):
I'm so ready.

Speaker 1 (01:16:37):
Okay, I'm Taylor. The I have the game on my
phone that Gandhi sent me. I don't have my phone
on so I don't know what the game is.

Speaker 8 (01:16:44):
I'll hold it up to the screen here.

Speaker 1 (01:16:47):
Okay, ready, we're going to get through this. So, as
we learned yesterday when we played part one of this game,
there are what are these things called germs? Happiness ms,
joy germs. Did you hear that the game yesterday? Taylor?
Did you hear us do that?

Speaker 26 (01:17:04):
I heard the laugh little bit of it, all.

Speaker 1 (01:17:07):
Right, explain it to Taylor and everyone else, gandhi.

Speaker 11 (01:17:09):
All right.

Speaker 13 (01:17:10):
So, joy germs are little seeds that get planted to
spread joy, and when it comes to music, there is
some science behind songs that make us all happy, make
us want to dance, and just kind of lift your mood.
So yesterday we did ten of them. People loved it,
so we decided to do ten more today. These songs,
according to science and joy germs, are supposed to make
you happy.

Speaker 1 (01:17:27):
All right. Now, we had requests yesterday from people that
wanted us to get the playlist out to them, and
we posted it. Can you do this one today too?

Speaker 8 (01:17:35):
I don't have my phone to do.

Speaker 13 (01:17:39):
I can run down to Abby or Andrew. If you
could give Abby the list, that would be great.

Speaker 1 (01:17:43):
Okay, we'll figure it out. Okay, So you just have
to give us the title of the song, the joy
germ title. Yeah, okay, Okay, here we go, Taylor. Here's
a game that Diamond screwed you out of months ago,
and now you're getting back at her with this Gameoid
Germ Clue number one And I'm a walk and I
strong myself and I'm so strong. Oh, my God, remember

(01:18:09):
that one.

Speaker 26 (01:18:11):
No, No, I knew that.

Speaker 21 (01:18:14):
Listen, I knew.

Speaker 11 (01:18:14):
I told Diamond, I said, I've been trying for.

Speaker 26 (01:18:16):
Years, and I said, I know when I get picked,
I'm not going to.

Speaker 21 (01:18:18):
Know what the songs.

Speaker 1 (01:18:20):
Okay, this could be a lot of fun. Then you
may get some of these though everybody always does this. Okay, no, no, no, no,
you're gonna be okay, you're not gonna get all the songs.
That was blister in the song.

Speaker 30 (01:18:33):
My God?

Speaker 6 (01:18:37):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:18:37):
Right? Uh does it read me a lot of joy?
That song? I don't know. So here we go. Here's
Joy Germ Song number two.

Speaker 6 (01:18:48):
They follow each other a moment.

Speaker 1 (01:18:52):
All right, say God, excellent song. What is that.

Speaker 26 (01:18:57):
One Man in the Mirror?

Speaker 14 (01:19:00):
Yes, it's.

Speaker 1 (01:19:09):
Excellent. Okay, that's a that's a joy Germ song. Definitely.
Here is Joy Germ number three. Oh, okay it one
more time.

Speaker 5 (01:19:25):
Yeah, that's I mean, I know who it is. I
remember the song. Do you know who it is?

Speaker 1 (01:19:37):
At least? My God? Okay, here it is? Uh? What
song is that?

Speaker 22 (01:19:56):
My soul decision?

Speaker 1 (01:19:58):
Okay, it wasn't who I thought it was.

Speaker 26 (01:20:00):
All right, all right, So Elvis doesn't know, so I
should get like half a.

Speaker 1 (01:20:03):
Point no, no, no. To be fair, I'm not the
all knowing so I mean I don't know every song.
I remember the song. Now, okay, here we go. Here's
Joy Jong Joy Germ song number joy Jong Yong Joy
Germ song number four. Oh god, here he goes? Uh,

(01:20:24):
here we go. I'm trying to hit it, scary, can
you hit it?

Speaker 22 (01:20:28):
I'll hit it?

Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (01:20:33):
You captivated?

Speaker 17 (01:20:37):
Mm hmmm, suddenly I see?

Speaker 1 (01:20:47):
And what show was that huge on?

Speaker 7 (01:20:49):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (01:20:50):
I don't know what was that from? I know it's
from something.

Speaker 1 (01:20:52):
Was it that Emily and Paris? They played the hell
out of that song?

Speaker 4 (01:20:55):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (01:20:55):
Oh?

Speaker 11 (01:20:55):
I don't even know that.

Speaker 1 (01:20:57):
Maybe I'm wrong. I don't have my phone. See done,
we are without our phones. I think they did play
it on there a lot no no, no, no, no
no no no. Devils product, yes, okay, Devils product. All right,
here we go. See you got that right though? See
you do know something, Taylor. Here is Joy Germ. I
know it's for all of us. Joy Germs song number whatever?

Speaker 26 (01:21:20):
Is it called?

Speaker 1 (01:21:30):
Headstrong?

Speaker 14 (01:21:37):
Headstrong?

Speaker 4 (01:21:39):
Hmmm?

Speaker 1 (01:21:41):
Good good song?

Speaker 6 (01:21:42):
Though?

Speaker 22 (01:21:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:21:43):
Uh strong?

Speaker 1 (01:21:50):
It sprung? You're close?

Speaker 6 (01:21:53):
Will you?

Speaker 1 (01:21:53):
At least you got head You know what I'm saying, okay,
Joy song number.

Speaker 14 (01:22:01):
Six, give me that, let me give you that, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:22:06):
I love that song. I played it times, don't even
know the name of it.

Speaker 26 (01:22:13):
Remixed ignition.

Speaker 30 (01:22:14):
Yeah, that body got everything. I'm like, so bum it's

Speaker 1 (01:23:00):
No old school delivery of musical content.

Speaker 11 (01:23:15):
Put your records all.

Speaker 8 (01:23:21):
That song, all right, that song, put your records on.

Speaker 1 (01:23:25):
Put your records on, all right. Here's Joy Germ song
number eight.

Speaker 11 (01:23:31):
Let's Go Girls.

Speaker 1 (01:23:33):
Okay, what is it?

Speaker 21 (01:23:35):
Let's go girls?

Speaker 1 (01:23:36):
I queen, well, well yeah, that was a line from
the song Scary is very buzzer happy.

Speaker 11 (01:23:52):
It's really hard when you're on the phone right now.

Speaker 16 (01:23:56):
Every day I.

Speaker 26 (01:23:57):
Know all the songs, and everybody says this, Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
There's no way to know all the songs. I'm proving
it to myself right now. All right. Here is Joy
Germ song number nine, whoa.

Speaker 22 (01:24:08):
Cup the London Us to Do?

Speaker 4 (01:24:10):
You found myself.

Speaker 6 (01:24:11):
From the sitting.

Speaker 1 (01:24:13):
Great song, huge hit.

Speaker 19 (01:24:15):
What is it?

Speaker 26 (01:24:18):
One more time?

Speaker 1 (01:24:19):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (01:24:20):
Whoa cup?

Speaker 4 (01:24:21):
The London Us to Do?

Speaker 22 (01:24:22):
You found myself from the sitting.

Speaker 1 (01:24:28):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 6 (01:24:30):
Is it good life? Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:24:41):
There you have it? All right? One more you got
that one. Here's joy Germ song number ten's bye. Okay boy,
then love it, love it all right? Okay, you know what,

(01:25:11):
you were doubting yourself a lot, but you actually pulled
some out. How many did she get out of ten?

Speaker 8 (01:25:17):
You're fine.

Speaker 5 (01:25:23):
We've had a lot worse, yes, correct, I mean not
the bare minimum it takes to get a price here.

Speaker 1 (01:25:27):
But you know I liked your spirit and energy. How
about the Elvis Dran apparel lot? Yeah, you go touchdown,
you got it, you got it absolutely. Congratulations, you did
very well, and I'm glad we finally got to call
you back after Diamond screwed you over several months ago.
All Right, I have a great day. That was a
lot of work, but you made it pay off. Taylor.

(01:25:49):
Good for you, Taylor, everyone Taylor, all right, Hold on
a second, Okay, So I was so excited abut playing
Ignition by R Kelly Now everyone's complaining.

Speaker 11 (01:25:59):
Basically, it just sucks that it's such a good song,
you know, it's such a jacka.

Speaker 1 (01:26:04):
The song didn't do anything wrong.

Speaker 14 (01:26:07):
Exactly exactly. That is one of the greatest songs of
all time.

Speaker 13 (01:26:11):
I think we've talked about this before. Why should we
get punished for what he did?

Speaker 5 (01:26:18):
Let's find out and break them off with the little
previews of the remix?

Speaker 1 (01:26:22):
Are we on now?

Speaker 22 (01:26:25):
Kelly?

Speaker 9 (01:26:29):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:26:29):
Scar, I got a headache, I need my phone? All right?
That was our Kelly? Yes, we did play our Kelly.
Is it true that when we do play our Kelly,
his victims get money?

Speaker 8 (01:26:39):
That's what a lot of people are saying. I will
look it up on my.

Speaker 13 (01:26:42):
Laptop to see if that's true, because if it is,
that opens a hole.

Speaker 11 (01:26:45):
Yeah, that's awful new door for us.

Speaker 1 (01:26:47):
Yeah. Yeah, we're thinking, you know, why should we be
punished because he did awful, awful things? But the song
was good, so, you know.

Speaker 11 (01:26:55):
As long as he's not making the cash.

Speaker 13 (01:26:57):
It says that his victims are receiving his royalties.

Speaker 1 (01:27:01):
Play again, right, so you should be thanking us for
playing that song. Thank You're welcome. You're you know you're welcome. Yeah,
It's so funny how everyone remembers those words. We haven't
played that in a long time, right, but they all
came back. Uh, And there we have it. We have
to go around the room. We haven't gone around the
room yet. We'll do that in a few minutes. Also,

(01:27:22):
we've got to get some sound on. It is new
music Friday. Bruno Mars is one of the songs we're
loving today. But there's more than that going on today.
We'll get to that coming up with Garrett's a few minutes.

Speaker 18 (01:27:32):
I'll hang out not very hosts Death Pathologists Assistant Nicole
and Jemmy and daughter Maria Q Kane dive into the bizarre, creepy,
and fascinating side of death crime in the human body.

Speaker 9 (01:27:43):
This guy was cleaning his shotgun and laid it down
on his bed for a minute. His dog ended up
jumping on the bed, causing the gun to go off
and accidentally shot him.

Speaker 18 (01:27:50):
Open your free iHeartRadio app search Mother Knows Death and
listen now.

Speaker 4 (01:27:54):
Elvista ran in the morning show.

Speaker 1 (01:27:57):
You know they all say you got to get more
or protein in your diet. You know, fiber is a
very very important part of that diet too, and if
you're looking for a healthier food option for yourself and
your family this year, do like we're doing, make the
switch to Grainberry cereal. It's healthy, it's delicious, made with
you and your family and mind. We love our friends
at Grainberry. We got to meet our friend Peter, whose

(01:28:18):
father started Grainberry years ago, and it's so great talking
to someone who started this little family business and they're
going up against the giants, right to the Kelloggs of
the world in the posts. Yeah, and Danielle, of course
you've been eating grainberry in your house for a while
now and now I'm doing it. I love it.

Speaker 8 (01:28:34):
I love it.

Speaker 11 (01:28:34):
And it's so crazy because my husband is the one
who first said have you tried this? And I'm like no,
and he brought it home and it really is delicious.
We have the original toasted oats that's his favorite. It
is so good. And like I said, you just feel
better when you know you're eating something that's better for
you and it tastes good, so it just makes you happy,
you know what.

Speaker 1 (01:28:54):
And it goes to the science. There's you know, the
whole grain onyx sorgum that they use in there, which
helps low sugar absorption. But all that cares about it
tastes good, right, Yeah, I mean you can go into
the science. Every box will tell you the story about
how they went to Texas A and M. And they
use their agriculture department to come up with these incredible
cereals and everything they put in them. But it has

(01:29:16):
to taste good.

Speaker 11 (01:29:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:29:17):
I love my heart healthy choice this morning as I
ate my shredded wheat, my wheat wheat wheat squares, they
are so good.

Speaker 11 (01:29:24):
Well when you when you feed it to your kids,
you just don't tell them that it's better for you.
You just tell them to taste delicious, and they eat its.

Speaker 1 (01:29:30):
It and it's better for them. They're getting their fiber
and everything they need, and they're the antioxidants. They have
bran flakes, original toasted oats, the cinnamon frosted and animal
cinnamon and animal apple, cinnamon, shredded wheat, honeynut, grainberry, raisin bread,
everything something for everyone. So when you're on the cereal aisle,
you'll have a thousand things to choose from. Do like
I did yesterday, get your grainberry, grainberry and huge letters

(01:29:53):
on the top. You can't miss it. So promise me
you'll get a box or two. I got two. Are
we cool with that?

Speaker 11 (01:29:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:30:00):
I may have another bowl. Man, I got so much
fiber going on text.

Speaker 18 (01:30:04):
Us at fifty five one hundred standard data and messaging
rates may apply Elvis Duran at the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (01:30:11):
All right, the social experiment continues. We are approaching our
number three of not having access to our phones. I'm right,
I have mine right here, I'm holding mine. Look, it's
in my hand.

Speaker 11 (01:30:24):
I haven't touched mine in the two hours.

Speaker 8 (01:30:26):
Yeah, line's been in those same spot.

Speaker 1 (01:30:30):
Scary, You're you're doing really well over there, you're.

Speaker 11 (01:30:32):
Doing okay, thank you, good job, scary, good.

Speaker 1 (01:30:35):
Job, scary.

Speaker 14 (01:30:36):
Can't wait for ten one?

Speaker 15 (01:30:37):
Oh my?

Speaker 1 (01:30:38):
Really? Okay, what's the first thing you're going to do
when you turn your phone on?

Speaker 24 (01:30:41):
RSVP to this event that I said that I would
rs VP too early this morning that I haven't done
yet for It's an event for tonight that I'm going to.

Speaker 1 (01:30:48):
So, okay, what's the first thing the rest of us
are going to do?

Speaker 11 (01:30:51):
I have to be the eye doctor, make an eye appointment.

Speaker 8 (01:30:53):
Yeah, gandhi, I think I'm going to try to let
it keep going.

Speaker 11 (01:30:56):
Oh that's good.

Speaker 1 (01:30:57):
Yeah, okay, you have I have to call the vat
and make it of that appointment, this and that. But
look at that none of that involved social media. Oh okay,
and we all kind of agree that's the issue. That's
the thing that's kind of thrown us off in life
and taking up so many hours of our of our
day and night. Like what happened in eight last night
after he watched the pit. Yeah, he immediately went online

(01:31:19):
for an hour over an hour he just tuning around
doom scroll. Do you remember anything that you nothing landed
on after the one thing? Not exactly, So therefore nothing
was good or bad in your in your mind anyway,
m hmm. Subconsciously it could have destroyed you. We don't know. Yeah, okay,

(01:31:40):
let's get a let's get going with around the room.
See what's on the minds of people in this room. Danielle,
we're starting with you today. What's on your mind?

Speaker 11 (01:31:46):
So Monday, we came back from England and as you know,
there's a big time change, like England is five hours
ahead of us, and this jetlag thing is serious, like
the other direction, it's worse. But coming home, So yesterday
it was four kl and I'm like, hey, Sheldon, when
are we watching our shows, because you know, every night
we watch like shows together and like sitting on the

(01:32:06):
couch and relax. He said, honey, it's four o'clock. He said,
four o'clock. It feels like nine o'clock. I'm gonna be
four o'clock. And I just kind of walked around in
circles and I wound up going to bed at like
eight pm because I'm so jet lagged, and I really think,
like I'm so confused. Like timing just is like I
can't even figure out whether the hell I am or

(01:32:27):
what I'm doing. Why is a problem?

Speaker 1 (01:32:29):
Yet it messes with your mind. It does. It measures
when your clock is messed with. It's nute minus too.
There are people who get jet lagged just in the
same time zone because if they're on vacation, they're sleep
times change as well. Yeah, any little change can screw
you up. So hang in there, Yeah, gandhi, what's up
with you today?

Speaker 22 (01:32:49):
All right?

Speaker 13 (01:32:49):
Speaking of us, all trying to say off our phones
and understanding you can use your phone for stuff that
isn't social media. Andrew has a little device it's called
a brick and it's connected to an app, and when
you tap your phone on this little brick. It will
disable the things you want it to disable. And I
think maybe we should all kind of take a look
at this thing. Yeah, and I went and I looked

(01:33:10):
it up online. It's at getbrick dot app.

Speaker 8 (01:33:13):
Which is kind of funny. Get brick but if you.

Speaker 13 (01:33:15):
Just tap it, it says it's a physical device that
temporarily removes distracting apps and their notifications from your phone.
Designed for simplicity, no subscriptions, no complex setups, just more
time for what matters. So you can decide to keep
yourself locked out of all your social media and use
your phone for all the other things.

Speaker 8 (01:33:30):
I think that's kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (01:33:31):
That's awesome, Okay, I mean notifications aside. Let's say I
want to brick out of Instagram, right, I can still
pick on my phone and bypass it and go to Instagram.

Speaker 8 (01:33:41):
Obviously you can, of course you can.

Speaker 13 (01:33:43):
But I think that those extra steps that you have
to take to get around it are gonna stop you,
or at least make you think twice about it.

Speaker 1 (01:33:50):
Yeah maybe, okay, all right, all right, brick the brick, Yeah,
a brick, a brick, brick, All right? Done?

Speaker 5 (01:33:57):
Deal the fact that we have to do that sort
of interesting, is it not? Yep, Nate, what's up? It's
that time of year in New York City. You walk
around and what do you see on the sidewalk tree?
Christmas trees everywhere?

Speaker 1 (01:34:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:34:10):
Question for you Elvis, because I know you live out
in the country, and Scotty Bee because he lives on
a Christmas tree farm from Makaya from.

Speaker 1 (01:34:17):
Time to time?

Speaker 5 (01:34:17):
Can you do anything with old Christmas trees? Is there
any use for an old Christmas tree? I don't know, Scotty,
can you address that?

Speaker 25 (01:34:24):
I mean there are places that will mulch them, yeah,
and you can then put them back in your garden.

Speaker 1 (01:34:29):
Okay, some people just burn them too.

Speaker 11 (01:34:31):
But I felt bad, Like I saw somebody throw one
into the garbage truck yesterday and I thought, like that
poor tree, it lived its life. Now we use it
for like a month, and now look at it being
eaten up by that garbage truck. I feel bad for
the tree.

Speaker 13 (01:34:44):
Well, in Philly, which we love our people in Philly,
they have something called the Tree Cycle Festival where they
recycle all the trees and you can have goats go
eat them and then, like Scotty said, they'll turn them
into mault and all kinds of other stuff.

Speaker 11 (01:34:54):
So well, that's nice.

Speaker 25 (01:34:55):
A lot of municipalities will also just come pick them
up and they'll moulch them for you. But you can't
have any tinsel or anything on them.

Speaker 1 (01:35:00):
No lights.

Speaker 11 (01:35:01):
Oh yeah, all right.

Speaker 5 (01:35:02):
I just felt all those lonely trees there lying on
the right. We just take hours out back to it
in the woods. I guess this is the same thing.

Speaker 1 (01:35:12):
I mean, what are you gonna do? Make it your own? Bulg? Yep,
what's going on in producer?

Speaker 6 (01:35:16):
Sam?

Speaker 1 (01:35:16):
How are you?

Speaker 11 (01:35:16):
I'm doing great.

Speaker 17 (01:35:17):
I think this question that Nate asked me earlier might
be a curiosity for a lot of guys. I am
wearing a romper today, a one piece jumpsuit, and he
comes up to me and he goes, can I ask,
is that like annoying to go to the bathroom with?
How does that feel? And to be honest, you feel
so fabulous. I think when wearing a jumpsuit or opera,
there's something a little extra like jaggy about it.

Speaker 11 (01:35:36):
You love it.

Speaker 17 (01:35:37):
You go to pee and it is the most humbling experience.
Even though you're alone, you're very vulnerable. You're holding a
pile of your own clothes and your elbows are on
your knees and you're just kind of sitting there questioning
your life choices. And so yeah, it's not a feeling
you get used to. It's not a good feeling. Oh
if it's a cold bathroom, forget about it. Then I'm
just ashamed. I'm alone in an ashamed.

Speaker 22 (01:35:59):
That the hatch of it back.

Speaker 1 (01:36:03):
You need a ramper hat. You know, I would love
to wear rampers. Is there a way that we can
find those? For guys? Is as a.

Speaker 17 (01:36:10):
Matter of time, It's we're just a couple of years
behind that Elvis. So I fully support this. I think
dudes will start to wear rampers. They eventually they had
a moment.

Speaker 13 (01:36:18):
They were called jump hymns instead of jumpers, and they
did have flaps in places.

Speaker 11 (01:36:25):
Oh good, I throw this though.

Speaker 1 (01:36:27):
Yes, all right, we're looking finding your ropper. What about you? Scary?
What's going on with you? So tomorrow, So tomorrow.

Speaker 24 (01:36:34):
Is my mom's birthday, and she would have been seventy nine,
and you know, I lost her two years ago around
the holidays, and I meant to tell you guys this
before we broke for.

Speaker 14 (01:36:43):
The New Year, and we went on vacation.

Speaker 24 (01:36:46):
I wanted to thank you guys for being there because
the Hollias are particularly tough for my family and I
and it's just so great. Each and every one of
you was awesome and just it's just it's nice to
have company. It's nice to have friends around you. I know,
lot of people are going through this. Some of them
in our iHeart company have lost parents recently, and you know,
I'm just thinking of all them, and it's just nice

(01:37:07):
to be there for people in these times, that's all.

Speaker 14 (01:37:11):
And you guys were all there. You didn't even know it,
but you are.

Speaker 24 (01:37:14):
So you guys kept me in great spirits all through
the holiday season, that's all.

Speaker 1 (01:37:19):
Wow. I'm glad you shared that with us. And we
talked about that a little bit. I think over the
holidays we've talked about it, right, yeah, me, And it
got me thinking about all those people we've lost along
the way, you know, and as long as we have
each other. That's why human connection is the most important thing,
or one of them that you can you can hop
into it NonStop. I mean, you've got to practice it.

(01:37:41):
You have to rehearse it, you have to always like
just reapply it as much as you can reaching out
to other people because when you reach out to that
you're helping them. But when you reach out to other people,
their response to you is helping you. So it works
both ways. I love that you brought that up, scary,
Thank you very much. You're well, let's get into sound.
It is free, not free, but new music Friday, and
it's totally free. We're not gonna send you a bill

(01:38:03):
at all. What's going on?

Speaker 6 (01:38:03):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:38:04):
Well, we started the show and played it throughout the show.
So far, Bruno Mars, I just might album come out
next month.

Speaker 1 (01:38:10):
Sounds like this.

Speaker 19 (01:38:11):
What a great.

Speaker 1 (01:38:30):
You know, Bruno Mars has this this way of doing
music and songs. He could have like four different songs
in one song. Have you noticed that they go back
and forth between each other. It's it's it's quite an
interesting thing. He comes up in the laboratory of music.

Speaker 2 (01:38:47):
But anyway, excellent, all right, So before we move on
to new music, I want to play a talk back
that we got on the iHeartRadio app from our listener
Cheryl listening to us on casey one O one.

Speaker 1 (01:38:56):
She's a big Bruno fan but has a complaint to us.

Speaker 3 (01:39:00):
Good morning.

Speaker 4 (01:39:01):
I'll listen to Rand Morning Show, I have a bone
to pick.

Speaker 3 (01:39:04):
Yesterday, all day I listened to Bruno Mars, I listened
to Mars Old, I listened to Bruno Mars with Sexy Red.
I finally get to hear the Bruno Mars song. I've
been waiting for his new music and now all I
have stuck in my head is you need me be.

Speaker 4 (01:39:18):
Lengthy than.

Speaker 1 (01:39:24):
Sorry? Yes, all right?

Speaker 2 (01:39:25):
So Olivia Rodrigo enlisted David Byrne from Talking Heads to
do a cover of her song Driver's License and it
sounds like.

Speaker 22 (01:39:33):
This just kind of my lodging how you could be
song about me.

Speaker 16 (01:39:48):
Because you said forever now I drive along past your street.

Speaker 2 (01:39:52):
So they teamed up back on GUV Ball and became friends,
and now with her album werecoming out there he is,
she enlisted him to do that. So Zach newly married
Zach Bryan over the Break has a new song called
Plastic Cigarette.

Speaker 1 (01:40:03):
Sounds like this.

Speaker 16 (01:40:04):
Simm you're adding on pasta singer make you Swim talk
still with all right?

Speaker 2 (01:40:18):
Kid Larroy has new music as well, a new album
and this is called Rather Be.

Speaker 6 (01:40:28):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:40:35):
So that that album was supposed to come out six
months ago, but he didn't like the way it sounded,
so he stripped it down and redid the whole second
album and then came out today Steve Aoki teaming up
with sound Rush. There are DJ Duo and enlisted Hubastang
to redo the Reason and this is the remix.

Speaker 31 (01:40:51):
Okay, wow, there is kind of different right now.

Speaker 2 (01:41:12):
Yeah, and then finally I'm gonna play this. This sound
it sounds like a concert. It sounds like a sea
a concert, but actually this is the Dark Championship. Stephen Bunting.
He is the top of the dart throwing league in
the UK. Listen to the crowd singing. See his titanium
as he walks to the stage.

Speaker 1 (01:41:49):
Darts, Wow, darts are pretty big over We're watching this.

Speaker 11 (01:41:56):
Championship in the pub. When we were in the UK,
were you thinking, yes? But I cannot believe how huge
this thing is. And I couldn't believe how excited people
get for those these guys were signing autographs. It was crazy,
It was nuts.

Speaker 1 (01:42:10):
I was like, you know what, throwing darts and pubs
over there is just a whole of the thing. They
were in arenas for the championship, an arena. I wish
we had more dart throwing pubs around here were we
were playing darts all during the holidays. We have a
big old dart board in the game room or whatever
room that is in the house. We were darting until
three am almost every night. Which what's your wall.

Speaker 2 (01:42:30):
Look like though? Behind the dart door? Because I have
a wall that has so many holes in it.

Speaker 1 (01:42:35):
Yeah, that's yeah, that poor wall. It'll never be the same.
But that's cool that they are so into it. We
need we need more things like darts in this country.
Can we darted up studio?

Speaker 11 (01:42:43):
Oh yeah, that's good. I'm not trust you with dart
over there. Give me the darts.

Speaker 1 (01:42:49):
You're a good American, all right. I wouldn't mind hearing
a little titanium. Do we have time for this?

Speaker 5 (01:42:54):
I think all right, okay, but give your dartst mister
Ran and the America's heroes need your help. Do good
in their honor by donating eleven dollars a month to
the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Go to T two tea
dot org. That's t the number two T dot org.

Speaker 4 (01:43:19):
Elvist.

Speaker 11 (01:43:22):
I know we've been talking a lot about eating this
morning because we put our phones away so every day
and then we're like snacking.

Speaker 1 (01:43:28):
I kidicking.

Speaker 11 (01:43:29):
Yes, I've snacked a lot this morning. It's ridiculous. But
we were talking about some of the stuff that we
were snacking on and our Greenberry cereal, which we are
absolutely loving. When we were in Miami, I know Elvis
and I got to hang out with Peter who he's
basically one of the guys behind Greenberry. His dad actually
developed this cereal from scratch when he was eighty two

(01:43:52):
years old because he wanted better quality cereal and healthier
cereal for people. How crazy is that?

Speaker 1 (01:44:00):
I love it. I was on the cereal owl yesterday
to pick up some grain Berry, just the name Grainberry, Hello, Grainberry,
you go. You know all these cereals who have been
eating for years, like bran Flakes and Raisin brand they
have those those are from like the calogs of the world. Well,
they took that idea which was good and made it better.
They made it a lot better, lower in sugar, it's hard,

(01:44:20):
healthy and making the switch to grainberry. You'll feel it.
You'll feel it. Texas at A and M. Texas A
and M is where they went and they with them
developed their own whole grain Onyx sorghum to help slow
sugar absorption. And the thing I care about is it
tastes good. So when you lost dressed, need a grainberry infusion,
it's there and you don't feel like you're cheating yourself.

(01:44:42):
And look at all these flavors.

Speaker 11 (01:44:44):
They have, I know, delicious apples, cinnamon, grainberry, cinnamon, frosted
high like grainberry, honey nut, so many great flavors. Delicious.

Speaker 1 (01:44:52):
Make the switch for you and your family to something
that's healthier. It's healthy, it's delicious, made with your family
and you in mind. So this is the perfect time
of year to make the switch to grainberry. Do like
we're doing, and we're gonna do it every day. I'm
gonna be grainberrying until the end of the year.

Speaker 11 (01:45:09):
Good good for you.

Speaker 1 (01:45:10):
I'm gonna be so fit and so so handsome.

Speaker 11 (01:45:12):
I'm gonna say, did you grainberry today?

Speaker 1 (01:45:15):
Look you look like you've grainberried today. So do like
we're doing. It's a must have cereal for your year.
It's grainberry pick up. All right, shows done, Let's get
out of here until next time. Say peace out, everybody.
He's out. Everybody
