Speaker 5 (04:29):
All right?

Speaker 11 (04:29):
Luigi Mangioni is headed back to court today. The judge
has ordered pre trial hearings in New York State's case
against him. He's pleading not guilty to murdering United Healthcare
CEO Brian Thompson in Midtown Manhattan last December. Mangioni's lawyers
are arguing that certain evidence collected by Pennsylvania police when
they arrested him should be suppressed because they searched Mangioni's

(04:50):
backpack without a warrant. They also claim police failed to
read him his miranda rights authorities in Hong Kong say
at least one hundred and forty six people are now
dead after a massive fire swept through a high rise
housing complex last week. I don't know if you guys
saw any of the pictures of that. It was devastating.
Officials raised the death whole Sunday, noting about forty people
were still missing. Search crews found more bodies and stairwells

(05:13):
and on rooftops where residents tried to escape those flames.
Nearly a dozen arrests have been reported as Hong Kong's
Corruption Commission investigates whether unsafe and flammable materials were actually
used in renovations that helped spread that fire. And finally,
today looks like it's going to be the day. Federal
health officials say time is nearly up for anything left
from your Thanksgiving leftovers. The US Department of Health and

(05:36):
Human Services points to the Monday after Thanksgiving as the
last day to safely eat refrigerated food following the holiday.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Oh yeah, a good week.

Speaker 11 (05:45):
I'm delivering the NS guys.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
You know, please, I'm still eating last year's leftovern'.

Speaker 11 (05:50):
You know way, But don't say I didn't warn you
you know, something happens. Food that was placed in the
freezer can be safe to eat indefinitely, but quality declines
over time. The USDA says, for and leftovers begin to
lose moisture and flavor within two to four months. And
those are your three SAMs.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Please, it is just now getting good. Gotta be honest.
Are you ready for your Monday? Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Okay, so you're saying that the professionals are saying, today's
the last day you can eat your Thanksgiving stuff?

Speaker 11 (06:57):
Really, yes, Food and safety people are saying, just be careful. Well,
if you're going to refrigerate things, today's your last day
for refrigerated. But if you toss it in the freezer,
you do have some more time.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
I thought things less at least a week.

Speaker 11 (07:08):
Give it a shot.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
As long as they're brown, they're still good, right, the
brown food is still good.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
Well.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
The thing is, we had Thanksgiving Saturday as well, so
I have a few extra days for that. Okay, So
Saturday was my Thursday. Then Wednesday it is my down day.
I guess I'm done.

Speaker 11 (07:26):
Yeah, yeah, five days. But I'm with Danielle. I think
a week is probably fine. But I'm not a food
and health you know, administrator in any way, So.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
What I would do? Look at us and all of
a sudden, all of a sudden, we're the scientists. We know,
we know better than anyone else.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
They just want us to buy more food.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Probably it was so good I can't believe. So I
counted up to the Thanksgiving meals we had here at
the station and added it to the two I had
this weekend. I think we had a total of five, right,
we had three at work?

Speaker 18 (07:57):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Yes, yeah, and two yeah. I had five Thanksgiving?

Speaker 11 (08:01):
Oh my god, are you Thanksgiving down? Or are you
still enjoying it?

Speaker 10 (08:05):
I got a refrigerator for kid, I've gotten too technically Wednesday,
so I'm gonna keep eating it.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yeah, thank you, because we are the scientist. Let's get
into the horse copes. Producer, Sam, who are you doing
that with?

Speaker 11 (08:18):
I'm gonna do them with Gandhi.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Okay, okay, let's do it. Let's go all right.

Speaker 11 (08:21):
We're kicking off December. So if you celebrate today December, first,
you are celebrating with is it robbery?

Speaker 5 (08:27):
Owen?

Speaker 11 (08:28):
Is it? It's definitely robbery. No, it's Robert Robert Erwin,
Zoey Kravit's Janelle Money and Bet Middler. Happy birthday, everybody. Sagittarius,
you are ready to turn a corner you've been staring
at four months. The first step will feel the hardest.
Your day is an eight Capricorn.

Speaker 9 (08:42):
You're getting an urge to rebuild something, but first it
will require you tearing it down.

Speaker 11 (08:46):
Your day's a six Aquarius. You're done watering one sided connections.
Watch how quickly your garden thrives without them. Your day's
a nine.

Speaker 9 (08:53):
Hey, Pisce's emotional intuition is a superpower, but also a
liability if used improperly, So thank first.

Speaker 11 (08:59):
Your day's an eight Aries. You're finally done tiptoeing around
other people's comfort. Let your truth land where it needs to.
Your days of nine, Hey Taurus, you'll see who actually
shows up without being invited, and let that inform your heart.
Your days of six, Gemini, you're currently unlocking a version
of yourself that doesn't need to explain or impress, but
it takes time. Your Day's of ten, Ooh, Cancer, you
are not imagining it. Something is shifting.

Speaker 9 (09:20):
Out of your favor behind the scenes. Your days of seven.

Speaker 11 (09:23):
Leo, you're about to get the recognition you stopped chasing.
Stay humble, but don't shrink Your days of nine.

Speaker 9 (09:29):
Hey Virgo, you are reassessing what actually deserves your energy
and you'll realize you're giving too much away.

Speaker 11 (09:34):
Your day's of five, lee, Bra, Today will bring a
new wave of confidence. Take action while it's at a peak.

Speaker 9 (09:39):
Your days an eight and finally, Scorpio, you let a
situation drain you for a long time, but now you
should start reclaiming that power.

Speaker 11 (09:46):
Your days of seven, and those are your Monday morning horscopes.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
All right?

Speaker 2 (09:49):
So whouh had to go through the Thanksgiving garbage to
try to find something they couldn't help Okay, I was.
I was arm deep in garbage all night last night
looking for my wedding ring.

Speaker 19 (10:04):
No, I mean it was bags and bags of cold,
mushy food, right, I found it.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
I found I actually found that. I went through three
bags of nothing but cold mushy, gross food.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
It was in the trash.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
It was in the trash bag I found.

Speaker 9 (10:23):
Wow, babe, we need to resize that thing for you
right off.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
No, it was. It was just on the counter, so
you know, I was doing dishes. I took it off.
You know what I'm saying. It happens, but it's so funny.
I just knew where it was and I knew what
I had to do to get it. It was the grossest.

Speaker 10 (10:40):
Feeling that noise it makes when your hand is going
through thing.

Speaker 11 (10:50):
When you have the close captions on it says squelching, squelching.
If you had a raccoon, it would have helped you out,
just saying what. It would have gone through the tracks
for you.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Yeah, but I didn't know what it's looking for.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Would have gone through the trash, it would spread the
trash all across the var the wedding ring out of raccoon.
Oh so fun You gotta make that anyway. Wedding ring found,
So what do you have coming up? Danielle your first
report of the week.

Speaker 20 (11:20):
Taylor and Travis might be switching up their wedding plans,
and Mariah Carey makes a fortune from guess which song?

Speaker 2 (11:27):
I heard it fifteen times this week?

Speaker 17 (11:29):
And the Mercedes Benz Interview Lounge with Cardi b.

Speaker 20 (11:34):
You seem like this type of person that has fun
and you'd want to hang out with. Oh well no, no,
I'd just like to be in my bed and gossip
all day.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Despite wintry conditions and heavy traffic, the holidays have to

Ran in the Morning Show. This is Elvis Duran in
the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Boy, it is okay, it is She's right, Thank you, Lauren,
You're absolutely right. This is Elvis Strand in the Morning Show. Hey, so,
welcome back from your weekend. It did go by fast?
Am I just alone on that? Or did yeah too fast?
It was good though scary? How was your weekend.

Speaker 7 (12:23):
It was awesome.

Speaker 12 (12:24):
Spent Thanksgiving with my brothers in laws and it was phenomenal.
The turkey was amazing, the food was great. Went out
to party with some friends, spent time with my girlfriend.
It was a nice balance.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
I did notice Scary posted something it's a bunch of
dudes at a table, and he says it was men's
night out. Yes, it wasn't guys night. It was men's
night out.

Speaker 12 (12:46):
Because when a couple of the guys get together, we
post a picture to the group chat and we always
go men are out, men are out, so meaning like,
here's a couple of us, the rest of you should join.
That's the cue. But we had twenty of us because
that was the Thanksgiving eve.

Speaker 7 (13:02):
Men are out.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Did you see that the men were out? It was
all men.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
I didn't see that.

Speaker 16 (13:07):
Took it up.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
It's up right now. I don't think it was a story.
I think you posted it. I think no.

Speaker 7 (13:11):
I think it was my buddy coasted it.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
But anyway, if it was a story, the men are
no longer out. Men are out, But it was. It
was just a table full of a bunch of guys.
You probably never want to hang out with. You anyway, Okay,
you had a good night though. You had a good
night with the men, phenomenal, great night. Yeah, anyone else

(13:35):
hang out with the men, just the man.

Speaker 11 (13:37):
I did not have a men's night out.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Daniel How was your weekend?

Speaker 20 (13:40):
How was your I did lots of movies, you know,
kicking off the Christmas season with movies of cooking and
baking and family time and relaxing, and it was just
it was.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
It was really good.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
I think I'd rather be I'd rather be with Danielle
than Scary's men out dinner. What about you? Oh gone
to you were traveling? How was your travel weekend? Was
it was hectic? Was it crazy?

Speaker 18 (14:01):
No?

Speaker 11 (14:01):
It was very easy. All the flights that I was
on were on time, even with a little bit of
bad weather. It was great. The airports were easy. I
did notice nobody took the advice to dress nicely.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Everyone is you were hanging out with the dapper travelers there.

Speaker 11 (14:17):
I didn't see any dapper travelers. There were a lot
of two piece sweatsuits, which you know, I appreciate. It
was a good weekend though, you know, Ohio State walloped
Michigan and that is always a good time.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Look at that smirk you when you talk about that.
She's so excited.

Speaker 11 (14:31):
It is because, I mean it was we had been
winning for quite some time and then we hit this slump.
No matter how good we were, and we were number
one in the country, they were beating us for a while,
and now we came back. So it's good. We're happy.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Yeah, well, welcome back, welcome back with that smirk on
your face. We have lots to cash up on. Let's
just start with Danielle. Danielle, what do you have on
what's your headline? What's the big headline you can't wait
to share?

Speaker 20 (14:56):
Of course, Taylor and Travis they're you know, getting ready
to you know, plan that wedding. But apparently they may
change it up a little bit, including a larger venue,
a bigger guest list.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
They still may have that.

Speaker 20 (15:09):
Little intimate Rhode Island ceremony, but there might be a
second celebration.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
Now.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
This is according to page six.

Speaker 20 (15:14):
They're thinking maybe someplace in Tennessee, maybe a private island celebration.
So they're weighing their options and they'll figure it out.
I'm sure they're gonna let us know as soon as
they go out. Sure they're gonna be invited. I bet yeah,
and call us up on the phone.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
I hope my mail man doesn't writ me off.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
Hope they don't.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
I need to see that invitation.

Speaker 20 (15:35):
Jelly Roll did something pretty cool at the Metro Davidson
County Detention Facility in Nashvilley brought a little Thanksgiving to
three hundred inmates who weren't able to spend time with
their families this year.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
He provided them turkey and all the.

Speaker 20 (15:47):
Fixings because he knows where they are, because he was
there not too long ago, and so he wanted to
give back. Mariah Carey has recorded hundreds and hundreds of
songs across our career, right, but she could basically retire
very comfortably on the one song that You're gonna hear
wow over and over and over all I want for

(16:07):
Christmas is You. Apparently she makes more than two and
a half million dollars in royalties every year, guys, every
single year.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
That is insane.

Speaker 20 (16:19):
So yeah, Mariah is definitely sitting pretty.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
With that one. The Mazy Thanksgiving Day Parade did we
all watch it?

Speaker 11 (16:26):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Loved it absolutely?

Speaker 20 (16:28):
This year it is set an all time record a
call across NBC and Peacock thirty four point three million
viewers for the biggest combined audience on record. So congratulations.
That was the ninety ninth parade. Next year will be
their one hundredth parade, so it's gonna be something special.
I'm sure they're gonna do something incredibly crazy. Wednesday night,

(16:48):
we kicked off a brand new season of Stranger Things.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
We waited a long time for.

Speaker 20 (16:52):
It, but minutes after season five, Volume one dropped, users
took to social to blast Netflix. Netflix, fix yourself right now, bro,
I've been waiting three years. Apparently there were issues with Netflix.
Then it bounced back and then fans were very very happy.
But if you were one of those pissed off fans
for a few minutes, we understand because.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Uh wait, did you just call Netflix?

Speaker 13 (17:15):
Bro?

Speaker 20 (17:15):
Yeah, yeah, that's what That's what they said. That's what
the tweet said.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
It wasn't me.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Those from you?

Speaker 20 (17:23):
And what did I watch over the weekend? Well, a
lot of good stuff. There's a really cute movie rom
com on Netflix with Minka Kelly called Champagne Problems. It
is said in Paris and it's awesome.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
You're gonna love it. It's a really good one. The
Wonderful World.

Speaker 20 (17:37):
Of Disney Holiday Spectacular is happening today. Derek Kuff is
your host. You also have the streaming premiere of Guns
up on Paramount Plus with Kevin James and Christina Ritchie.
And My Next Guest Needs No Introduction on Netflix with
Adam Sandler sitting down with David Letterman.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
And that is my Danielle Report.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
So was Gandhi the only one here in the room
that saw that show Heated Rivalry over on Max? Right
on Max? Anyone else see Heated Rivalry? The two professional
hockey players, the guys?

Speaker 11 (18:09):
You see it?

Speaker 18 (18:10):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (18:10):
I did.

Speaker 5 (18:13):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
I mean it's you definitely don't want to watch this
with your mom and dad, oh God, or children or
children or anyone. I mean it's hot.

Speaker 11 (18:22):
I mean I didn't know what I was walking into.
I heard it was really good, so I was like, okay.
And then I watched episode one and I was like,
oh whoa okay, and I was really into the plotline.
And then episode two was a little different.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
You know, here's the thing. You're not used to seeing
guy on guy sex on TV. You know, you're you're
used to seeing everyone else or doing it whatever, and
it can get kind of really steemy. But this is
a new thing. I've never seen anything like this on
my TV. It was so strange, it was wild.

Speaker 11 (18:58):
I also so I was kind of thinking thing from
that angle, what you were saying, like this is this
is very realistic and very steamy. I think even if
that were straight people, that was intense like that would
have been quite an intense uh couple episodes.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Yeah, no, it was. The sex scenes were very intense.
The whole thing about it. In heated rivalry, it's two
professional hockey players not on the same team sort of anyway,
but not on the same hockey team, and they you know,
they they go on the road and they travel and
they only meet up, you know, when their teams are
playing in this in this city they're in and then
they hook up these two guys, and you know, and

(19:35):
I gay, gay people in sports is such a weird
different thing. It's it's it's just now really being shown, right,
I mean, people believe it could be it could be true.

Speaker 11 (19:48):
There are a lot of things that are being highlighted
I think that are that haven't been before with this series,
which was a fascinating thing to see. I just I
wasn't I apologize for recommending that show to my boss.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
Geez it was it was amazing. Oh yeah, scary. What's
your question question? Straight guy questions?

Speaker 12 (20:07):
I just want to know if this steamy guy on
guys scene, is it imperative and necessary to the plot line?

Speaker 6 (20:12):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Or is it purtuitous? Oh no, no, no, it's it's imperative. Okay,
So you gotta okay, gotcha? I mean, I think they
just want to they want to hammer at home. They
they just want you to know that, you know, it's
possible for people to be of the same sex and
play professional hockey, and they just want you to know
for a fact there's something going on there, and there

(20:33):
is you should see it. I think all straight guys
should be forced to watch this thing, you know.

Speaker 11 (20:38):
Okay, So I almost recommended it to one of my
friends because I wanted to be like, does this I mean,
it's impossible to not get turned on by this. I'm
a straight woman, and I was like, well, hello, oh.

Speaker 10 (20:48):
My god, crazy it's called yeah, yeah, come on, why
do you have that look on your face?

Speaker 6 (20:57):
Nate?

Speaker 5 (20:59):
I don't get that.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Look of face.

Speaker 10 (21:00):
Want to think if you hadn't said I'm going mentally
going through all of the guy on guy scenes I've
seen in films and TV. I've got Broke Back Mountain,
I've got some scenes.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
That was nothing. That was nothing, No, really no nothing.
Now this is like it's it's yeah, it.

Speaker 5 (21:15):
Is what it is.

Speaker 10 (21:16):
They don't show it a lot. It's really not, I
mean unless you're looking for it. I guess right, so,
oh no, this is right there.

Speaker 11 (21:22):
Anyway, there are like elements of like fifty shades of
gay maybe involved in this.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Yeah, fifty shades of gay. Yes, Anyway, I thought this.
I thought it was tastefully dnes just to be honest.
And it's just it's not just one scene. It's it's
lots of scenes.

Speaker 11 (21:35):
Yeah, like all of episode two.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
So episode one, episode two are out. So now we
have to wait for episode three. I don't know when
that's coming on, but anytime soon maybe if it's if
it's out this morning, I gotta take take some time
out episode anyway. Hey, so we don't have a free
money phone tap. We do have a phone tap coming
up in like thirty minutes. Uh, what do we have?
You have a game? You want to play something fun?
We do?

Speaker 11 (21:56):
We have a game of feel good movies I know
it's the holiday season, but there are other movies that
make us feel good. So can you guess them?

Speaker 2 (22:02):
You want to do it?

Speaker 11 (22:03):
I'm down.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Let's go sure, all right, these are feel good movies.
So you need to know your movies. If you don't,
don't call Diamond will she will be very, very disappointed
in you if you don't get these right? Are they easy?

Speaker 11 (22:16):
I think they're pretty easy. I think people in the
room will get them for sure.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
All right, we could all use a feel good movie,
and now we're gonna explore more. So if you know
your feel good movies, called Diamond at eight hundred two
four two zero one hundred.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
We're not normal, hell, mister, ran in the Morning Show.
Our Audible pick.

Speaker 20 (22:34):

bestselling author Nora Roberts concludes her compelling Lost Bride trilogy
as two Women, one dead, one alive. Prepare for a
terrifying final showdown. Listen when you sign up for a

Speaker 17 (22:58):
Got something to say it one two four two zero
one hundred, Elista ran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
Yeah, we're just talking about shopping and actually Danielle up
at five thirty Friday mornings, but like Friday and you
were in the walmart by six o'clock and it wasn't
crowded at all.

Speaker 11 (23:15):
No, it was.

Speaker 20 (23:16):
It was so fabulous. I went with my girlfriends. We
had the best time and we had I mean, it
really was not crowded. And then we wound up at Target.
Then we wound up at one of the malls and
by noon we were done. And that's when it got crowded. Well,
you were leaving. It was ridiculous. I'm like, oh my gosh.
So people were not getting up early. Well, we got
up early, at the crack of dawn.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
It was great. We had so much fun.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
Are you Gandhi? Did you go shopping at all?

Speaker 11 (23:40):
We went to one store that had zero Black Friday deals,
so I was like boo, and then we left and
that was it. We wanted to get some Ohio state gear.
So there are Buckeye stores all over, yeah, but they
never have sales, like there are never things on sales.
So I thought maybe this is the day. No, it
was not.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Well, I tell you, Black Friday came in went and
I had a few friends who went to the mall
just to say they did. Oh, I mean I think
I think they had like lunch or something. I mean
they just wanted to feel that energy. So there because
it is it's it's it's the day to go. I
mean that's when people were like people are out there,
like really hitting it hard. You know, there's a vibe.

Speaker 11 (24:19):
Were they happy with their results from going?

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Yeah, they didn't shop for one thing, didn't buy one thing,
They went for lunch. They just walked around, you know,
by the Santa Live. The Santa line was, you know,
through the mall.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Santa's in this mall. Now it's nice.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
Here we go. So today's December first, you know that?

Speaker 6 (24:33):

thought early in the month, let's get to them.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Well, the big movies this month coming out anyway, is
I think Avatar, Fire and Ashes coming out, and the

Flat Iron of New York City from four to six.
We got jingle Ball tickets sold ou jingle Ball tickets

a playground for me. You want to talk about knocking
out your wish list. Go there and you will just
want everything in the store. My eyes pop out of

(32:55):
my head like a cartoon camera.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
I want to see that. Yeah, we when we were
in Rwanda, we had go pros on our on our
heads while we were hanging out with the gorillas. I
still have that go Pro footage of me about to

You're the executive producer on don't you come up with
an idea?

Speaker 18 (33:23):

Speaker 2 (33:23):
Sure, how about we have some fun and frivolity of this?

Speaker 7 (33:27):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (33:27):
That is yeah.

Speaker 10 (33:29):
You know, you know we've got some stuff that we're
going to be talking about with Saint Jude here coming up.
You know, we're doing a big partnership with them this week,
so I think we should get into that a little bit.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
Okay, we'll get into that. And also, do you have
any more money to give away?

Speaker 10 (33:39):
I mean not today unless pockets that are not coffee makers?

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Can we give away like some delay. We can give
away something there. Yeah, just a reminder is December first,
I can't believe?

Speaker 5 (33:52):
Can you believe?

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Sorty in December.

Speaker 17 (33:55):
Another episode of Sauce on the Side.

Speaker 11 (33:57):
I am here with Ray Manifest, the dream Man.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
Someone disciplined.

Speaker 14 (34:02):
I really need that, someone who loves music but they can't.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
Be a wrap up?

Speaker 11 (34:07):
Is no love? You not a rapper? Okay? Oh Ben,
you're free.

Speaker 17 (34:12):
iHeartRadio app search Sauce on the Side and listen now
Elvis Duran in the morning show, Elvis Duran and in
the morning show.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Hey, you want to come with us as we escape
winter on Norwegian Joy. I can't wait for us to
get together. It's cruising out January thirtieth, out of Miami.
We're gonna take you out to Stirrup k and Nasau, Bahamas.
Just a little getaway. I mean, are you guys excited
to have a little little weekend bag? Absolutely dream You

(34:44):
don't even need anything with wheels on it, just a
little weekend bag. Don't you love a weekend bag? Getaway?

Speaker 7 (34:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (34:51):
So we'll be together on Norwegian Joy, one of our
favorite ships at Norwegian If you want to win, you
can go to Elvis Duran dot com to get the
rules and to enter, or just book your own cruise.
You can just go with us, Tammy on line eighteen.
I think she wants to come. You want to come
with us on Norwegian Joy of the weekend of January thirtieth.
Are you available?

Speaker 3 (35:11):
Hi?

Speaker 25 (35:12):
Oh my god, I'm so excited to talk to you, Elvis.

Speaker 6 (35:15):
How are you? Well?

Speaker 2 (35:16):
We're great, but I mean, do you want to go
on a cruise or what do you want to do?

Speaker 6 (35:20):
I do.

Speaker 25 (35:21):
Actually, my cousin and her partner just invited me on
one and it's the Norwegian Prima and it's next November.
I was talented diamond that and it's like they invited
me to go they I think they just booked theirs.
I haven't booked mine yet. I haven't been committed to
it because I was like, I don't know anything about cruising.

(35:41):
I've never ever been on a cruise. I'm like so
excited to go with them. They said we would have.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
A laugh, but I'm just like, you're like me. You know,
you're like me and a lot of us, Tammy. I
never ever had any any desire to go on a
cruise whatsoever. And you know our friends of Norwegia. They
don't mind me telling the story because it's the same
as yours as well. I'd rather be in my own
car and drive and you know, have control over my sleeping.
So when we first we first became partners with Norwegian

(36:09):
and I took my first cruise. Wow, it changes your
perception about cruises totally. Do you guys agree?

Speaker 1 (36:17):
It's honestly like.

Speaker 20 (36:18):
A city on the water. It's crazy, like, yeah, so much.

Speaker 25 (36:23):
My cousin and her part My cousin and her partner
have cruised many times and we talk about it all
the time. And this is a cousin of mine that
we kind of lost connection for a while, and then
we've just started to hang out more and go to
Maine more to see her mom and all that stuff.
So we're trying to reconnect the family. And they're like,
you need to cruise with us, you need to cruise

(36:43):
with us. But they would be a blast, and I'm like,
I've never done this before. So this one is seven days.
It's like, oh, that's a long cruise for.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
My first life is perfect.

Speaker 26 (36:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 25 (36:53):
I was like I can't do this.

Speaker 15 (36:54):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
Well, okay, here's the thing. So that that cruise on Prema.
About it. Prima is a beautiful ship. I mean we've
been on Premium several times, but that's not until November.
We're going in January. I think they're saying that this
will be the coldest weekend of the year, so we
decided to go to the crib. If you want to
book to do it, book book it now, go to NCL.
You can book it at elvis Duran dot com I

(37:17):
think and link over right now.

Speaker 7 (37:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (37:19):
Absolutely, And you should just do a trial run, do
a cruise with us to break it, break yourself in
and kind of get used to the routine so that
when you go with your cousin, you're not like a
fish out of water, you know what I'm saying, right,
And I just didn't.

Speaker 25 (37:32):
I didn't know like how to get discounts, how to
get you know, the best price, Like she gave me
the price, and I was just like, I don't know
if I can do this, So I'm trying.

Speaker 15 (37:41):
You can't.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
You got to know that that's a done deal. Book
Prima gets that done today. Are you fishing for a
free cruise? I feel like you're kind of you're kind
of you're kind of beating around the dish a little bit.
You want to come back this time? Do you give
her a cruise? Can she come with us?

Speaker 5 (37:58):
Yes? Or no?

Speaker 2 (37:59):
Okay, you're okay, it's it's my ship. I guess. I
have so many ships. I'm up to two now, Norwegian
Enjoy and Bliss Norwegian Bliss. If you want to come
with us, I'll give you a cruise. You got to
bring someone fun, Okay.

Speaker 6 (38:11):
Tammy, Oh my god, you're serious.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
Absolutely absolutely, thirtieth January thirtieth through February second. We'll go
out to Great stir Up k together and go swimming.
We'll hang out with our pigs involved. I'm sure.

Speaker 10 (38:24):
If there's pig sun, there's always well, there's always pigs.
Either you're swimming with them or you're eating them.

Speaker 5 (38:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
But please come with us. I'd love for you to go.
We'll see you, will warm you up for your November
cruise in January. It'll be great. Hold on one second,
I'm gonna get you all packed up. Okay, Yeah, I
love it. I love it. Hold on a second. What
are your thoughts gone? Do you want to say something?

Speaker 11 (38:49):
I think it's gonna be fun. I can't wait. That's
going to be such a miserable week, especially because it's
like we're all on a holiday high right now, and
then you come back and it's January boom. But no,
we get to have some fun.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
Yeah, I'm I'm ready for it. You can enter to

Speaker 11 (39:11):
I was with all my family and friends in Columbus,
and I had such a great time. It was just
good to be with everybody.

Speaker 23 (39:18):
You know.

Speaker 11 (39:18):
My mom and dad were there, and they were crazy people,
but it's always good to be around them. And I
got to see people that I haven't seen in a
very long time. And I got to watch the buck
Eyes take down Michigan and it was glorious. So I
had a really good weekend.

Speaker 7 (39:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
What about yours, Daniel? You went shopping?

Speaker 5 (39:32):
Oh? Y?

Speaker 1 (39:33):
I did the Black Friday?

Speaker 2 (39:34):
You ate like a pig.

Speaker 1 (39:35):
I ate like a pig.

Speaker 20 (39:36):
I watched, of course, Daddy's Home too, and Scrooge, which
we always do.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
Thanksgiving night, I went.

Speaker 20 (39:41):
To a Christmas craft fair, I baked, I decorated the tree.
It was a fabulous weekend. We had the best. A
lot of family time, which was the best.

Speaker 18 (39:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
So yeah, we went out on Thursday and had a
dinner together and then we woke up Friday and Alex said,
I want more what MORTI, I want to read it.
I want another Thanksgiving. So we had another one. So
Saturday we had make ten people around and just we
just blew it out. It was insane. I'm still cleaning up.
I'm still washing dishes two days later. But a lot

(40:13):
of people didn't leave, so a lot of people just
stayed over. We had a slumber party Saturday night. It
was awesome. I think we went to bet around four.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
Oh nice, it was It's fun.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
To stay up. I mean, when you get older, you're like,
you know, okay, I'm I'll be in bed by nine,
No up till four.

Speaker 6 (40:30):
No.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
In vacation, you can't go to bed at nine.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
It was great. It was pretty awesome. It's pretty awesome. Hey,
what do we have coming up this week? Do we
have any guests or has it kind of a slow week.

Speaker 10 (40:38):
It's a slow week and then it builds up. We
have Pentatonics coming in later this month. We have a
couple of other people that I know.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
I'm so excited. When's Leve going to be in the week?
Next week? I believe yes, next week is Oh my god, next.

Speaker 1 (40:53):
Week is I don't forget Alfy from Emily in Paris's coming.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
Oh that's right, Oh my god, it's insane all right.
So we have a good December all the way.

Speaker 13 (41:03):
It is.

Speaker 5 (41:03):
Jingle ball.

Speaker 17 (41:07):
What was that Elvis dan in the Morning show?

Speaker 11 (41:18):
Oh my god?

Speaker 17 (41:19):
What is Elvis Duran in the Morning show?

Speaker 2 (41:23):
I'm gonna wondering how this Thanksgiving is landing a little
different than other Thingsgivings because of like trisepetide and you
know the shots people are taking GOV and zet bound
and all those. I mean, when we sat down to eat,
I noticed that I just couldn't eat like I did
least Thanksgiving, right, I mean, you get full faster, you

(41:44):
just the thought of eating more as a bolt. And
then I looked around the table and look look like
no one was eating, Like have we totally changed? I
don't know, it's scary. Did you eat like a hearty
hearty Thanksgiving? Did you like mound it up like a
mountain and eat it all.

Speaker 12 (42:01):
I did, because I'm not on any of this, any
of these shots. But my brother, on the other hand,
halfway through dinner, his stomach started gurgling and he goes,
what that's my cue to stop? And I said, well, well, Steven,
what's going on with this? What do you What happens
if you don't stop? He goes, if you don't stop,
there's problems. So I got the signal and now I'm
stopping and that was the end of it.

Speaker 10 (42:23):
Any problem, No, I mean, if you keep eating and
you crap yourself, what do you do?

Speaker 7 (42:28):
I don't know. I don't want to know what's going on.
I just know that the results are bad. So he
decided to stop eating and he was he's not hungry.

Speaker 2 (42:36):
They said, well that's what it is. I mean problem,
The problem is just you're not when you don't want
to eat anything else, you don't crap your pants. I
don't think. No, I haven't hold on, have I? No?
I haven't.

Speaker 1 (42:50):
I thought you did that one time.

Speaker 15 (42:53):
No.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
Nothing because of that. But what were we talking about next?

Speaker 16 (42:58):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (42:58):
Scottie b did something really cool this weekend. He actually
worked on a Christmas tree farm. I did.

Speaker 24 (43:05):
How fun was that it was magical. It really was
as a jew magical. Yeah, jew boy from Long Island
pulling Christmas trees up and bailing. I mean it was
a lot of fun. And they put me to work.

Speaker 2 (43:15):
You know.

Speaker 24 (43:16):
People would come, they would get a saw they cut
that no chainsaws allowed. They would cut down their tree
and then they would drag it up the hill and
we'd have to put them through these balers that like
puts netting around them so you can put them on
the top of your car. And you know, we had
to put them up there. I wouldn't tie it up though,
I'm not being responsible for that. Somebody that actually worked
there did that. Yeah, but yeah, that it was. It
was a lot of fun. Did you get any sap

(43:38):
on your hands? There was my gloves, My car heart
gloves were covered in sap. A car heart guy, now, you.

Speaker 1 (43:45):
Know, oh the guy? Yeah so cold?

Speaker 2 (43:49):
Yeah, Oh hold on, I'm a car heart guy. A
second ago you were a jew boy from Long Island.

Speaker 10 (43:55):
Yeah, well that's all changed, and now you're a car
heart guy at the Christmas tree place.

Speaker 2 (44:01):
And it was snowing there yesterday. It was so beautiful.
It was, you know, but I don't have far from
from that farm. And no, it was snowy. It was
a beautiful snow day because it didn't stick. It was great. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (44:11):
I love how happy you are, Scottie. It makes me
so happy.

Speaker 24 (44:13):
You Sawyer was running around and playing with the goats.
I mean, it was just it was such a such
a wonderful weekend.

Speaker 2 (44:19):
Your life has changed in such a wonderful, wonderful way
in this past year. It has. And I'm just gloriously excited,
if that's a word.

Speaker 1 (44:28):
Extra hug when I see her.

Speaker 2 (44:30):
Well, hold on, did you just say I'm gloriously excited? Yes,
it doesn't make sense, but I'm that What was this
text that just went by? Did I see a text
roll by? Someone saw a fistfight at hobby lobby over
the weekend? Area code two two nine.

Speaker 12 (44:44):
My daughters and I went Black Friday shopping and there
was a fist fight in the hobby lobby of all places.

Speaker 7 (44:49):
How can you be mad a hobby?

Speaker 1 (44:51):
What the hell were they fighting over?

Speaker 2 (44:53):
You would fight at hobby lobby?

Speaker 11 (44:55):
Apparently they do.

Speaker 10 (44:56):
They're throwing down hobby lobby fight. Did you see the
big hobby lobby fight over the weekend? Oh God, oh lord,
all right.

Speaker 2 (45:06):
Uh, we have a phone tap. It's not a free
money phone tap. It's just a phone tap. Are you
okay by that? No money to give one?

Speaker 18 (45:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (45:12):
All right? Who's the phone tap? Today's Gary?

Speaker 18 (45:14):
Got it?

Speaker 17 (45:14):
Gott don't answer the phone, Elvis Durand. Elvis Durand's phone tab.

Speaker 2 (45:19):
Let's do it. A brand new phone tap from Garrett.
What's it all about?

Speaker 6 (45:22):
Garrett?

Speaker 22 (45:22):
All right?

Speaker 2 (45:22):
David wants to play a phone tap on his dad James.

Speaker 10 (45:25):
Now, David's family just moved into a new development a
few weeks ago, and Dad James wanted to get a
start on the holiday season a little early.

Speaker 2 (45:31):
So we put up the Christmas decorations.

Speaker 10 (45:33):
So I'm gonna call from the development saying, hey, can
you take those down?

Speaker 2 (45:36):
It's a little too early for Christmas. Very touchy subject.
Let's listen in to Garrett's phone tap.

Speaker 5 (45:42):
Here we go.

Speaker 6 (45:44):
Hello, this is James.

Speaker 10 (45:45):
Hi, my name's Christopher Robin. I live down the block.
As I know that you guys just recently moved in.
I'm calling on behalf of the association.

Speaker 13 (45:56):
Association.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
Yes, we've been talking and on.

Speaker 10 (46:00):
Un Fortunately we came to a vote last night that
we need for you to take down your Christmas decorations.

Speaker 6 (46:07):
But it's almost Christmas.

Speaker 13 (46:08):
Why do you have a rule against Christmas light.

Speaker 10 (46:10):
We don't have a rule. We do encourage it around
the month of December. We just came to see that
and everyone kind of forgot about Thanksgiving and kind of
rushed the holiday and people people.

Speaker 13 (46:20):
We're just Chris. We're just getting a jump start on Christmas.
I'm a big Christmas fan. I like to get the
season started early, right around Thanksgiving weeks away.

Speaker 10 (46:29):
That's great, but if you could take it down, that
would be greatly appreciated.

Speaker 2 (46:33):
You know, once December around, we do welcome your Chris.

Speaker 13 (46:37):
Chris, let me get a word in here. It's going
to be snowing soon. I like to put up my
Christmas lights before Thanksgiving, so I'm not out in the
snow trying to put up my life. I'm a big
Christmas fan.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
I'm gonna have to take it into my own hands,
along with.

Speaker 13 (46:50):
The associations, into your own hands.

Speaker 2 (46:52):
We're going to take down your decorations this year.

Speaker 13 (46:55):
Are not going to talk to anything on my house.
That is my property. I ca to live there. You
have no right to touch anything on my house.

Speaker 6 (47:02):
Okay, So well, do you understand.

Speaker 2 (47:05):
Well, do you understand what it is about our by laws?

Speaker 6 (47:09):
I don't. Do you have something against Christmas?

Speaker 18 (47:11):
Sir?

Speaker 6 (47:12):
Do you have something against Christmas?

Speaker 10 (47:14):
No, we don't have anything against Christmas. I too am
for the Christmas.

Speaker 6 (47:17):
I see no problem here. So you will not touch
a sing on my house.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
I will touch you will, I will touch, and I
will bring down.

Speaker 13 (47:26):
Sir, you will not.

Speaker 6 (47:27):
That is my house. I pay to live there. You
will not touch a sing on my house. Have a
very merry Christmas.

Speaker 2 (47:35):
Sir, you will not have a house because you broke
the laws.

Speaker 6 (47:38):
I own the house. I can put up Christmas lights
in July. If I want to put up Christmas lights
in July. There's nothing you or your association we'll be
able to do about it. Do you.

Speaker 2 (47:48):
I'm going to walk over to your house right now
and take.

Speaker 6 (47:50):
This walk over to my house. That is my house.
You on my fib.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
I will have your resident have a nice day.

Speaker 6 (47:56):
Don't you hang up on me. Don't you hang up
on me. I'm not finish this.

Speaker 16 (48:01):
Hello, Hello, are you there for David?

Speaker 2 (48:06):
You there?

Speaker 6 (48:06):
Yeah? For this?

Speaker 10 (48:07):
All right, Let's call him back in a few minutes.
And I'm going to stop by the house and take
away the decorations.

Speaker 13 (48:13):
All right, okay, hello Dad, David? Yeah, what's going on?

Speaker 6 (48:20):
David? You all right? I just had this guy call
me at work. He's up my asses. That the same
guy outside our door.

Speaker 13 (48:28):
Why is he taking down our Christmas decorations?

Speaker 6 (48:31):
Stop that guy. Do not let him touch anything on
our house. I can't get to deal with this guy
to keep harassing me at work. Get out there and
tell him that he can't touch this thing on our Oh,
they just deflated Frosty. Get out touch Frosty. Get out there.
Stop now. Excuse me, Sara there?

Speaker 13 (48:52):
Yeah, what are you doing to our Christmas decorations? Yeah?

Speaker 10 (48:57):
I spoke to I believe your dad before and he
said I could take them down only because of my laws.

Speaker 6 (49:03):
I told him that I never told him he could
take us down everything. Why did you tell him to
take him down? I didn't tell him he could take
them down. Do not let him touch any of them.
Call nine one one, tell him he is feeling from us,
and get them there now, don't you him? Leave?

Speaker 10 (49:19):
Hey, James, my name's Garrett from Elvis Duran in the
Morning show. And you got phone taps?

Speaker 6 (49:24):
What you're calling from that Elvis show? Yeah, are you
kidding me? Did you do this?

Speaker 13 (49:31):
I'm sorry, Dad, It was just too funny, which is
not funny.

Speaker 2 (49:36):
This is unbelievable Elvis.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
Duran's phone tap.

Speaker 24 (49:41):
This phone table was pre recorded with permission granted by
Ali Party Space the.

Speaker 17 (49:45):
Elvis Duran phone tap only on Elvis Duran in the
Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (49:49):
Aw, there you go, thanks, Jarret. Sorry, no money they
were calling it. Look, it was calling these think Oh,

It's a free phone tap, That's all it is. It's free. Okay,
you're listening to the free tap.

Speaker 11 (50:07):
That's the gift.

Speaker 2 (50:08):
It's the free tap. All right, Well, have another one
worth absolutely nothing tomorrow. Hey Danielle, where do you want
to start? All right?

Speaker 1 (50:14):
Let's talk about Sabrina Carpenter.

Speaker 20 (50:16):
She reflected on the end of her fourteen month long
Short and Sweet tour in a post to Instagram. She
said it was lightning in a bottle and saying how
it was everything she dreamed of since she was a
little kid. She thanked her team, she thanked her fans,
and she was very happy by the way the tour
raised one and a half million for nonprofits. So that's
pretty damn cool. So congratulations to Sabrina Carpenter. Millie Bobby

(50:39):
Brown was talking about working with her Stranger Things dad,
David Harbor. Now, if you remember there was a report
last month that Millie said that he was bullying. Well,
she said, David and I have a great relationship. It
makes me want to bring my a game every single time.
She also said that she felt safe filming even the
toughest emotional moment, so she's putting those rumors to rest.

Speaker 5 (51:02):
Uh.

Speaker 20 (51:02):
Mike, Oh, if you guys are a fan of Creed,
you'll be excited to know that.

Speaker 1 (51:06):
Michael B.

Speaker 20 (51:06):
Jordan said, Yes, Creed four is eventually definitely happening eventually, definitely,
we just don't know when, but it is on the way.

Speaker 1 (51:16):
So if you're a fan, there you go.

Speaker 20 (51:18):
Also, I don't know if you saw the really cool
Duncan Ad with Cynthia Arrivo and Jonathan Bailey. It is
so adorable and Duncan really knocked it out of the park.
Now Ben Affleck is directing and acting in another Duncan
commercial for the Super Bowl. You're gonna get a lot
of names that you know from the past. Jennifer Anison,
Matt LeBlanc, Jason Alexander, Alfonso Robero, Ted Danson, They're all

(51:41):
going to be in this commercial.

Speaker 1 (51:43):
Uh z utopia to anybody.

Speaker 5 (51:44):
See it yet?

Speaker 11 (51:45):
But I really want to.

Speaker 1 (51:46):
Hundred and fifty.

Speaker 20 (51:47):
Six million bucks over the weekend came in at number one,
beating a wicket for Good, which came in at number
two over the weekend. Also, hold on, I'm gonna get
my paper. Oh are you guys ready for Shipper Bowl
sixty February eighth in California. So the NFL announced that
Bad Bunny will be you know, the halftime performer. But

(52:08):
then Charlie Pooth will have the honor of performing the
national anthem. Brandy Carlisle will sing America the Beautiful, and
Coco Jones will do lift every voice and sing. And
those pregame performances will be available on NBC, Telemundo and
Peacock and what are We watching? Well, if you want
to watch a fun holiday movie, you can watch Champagne
Problems with Minka Kelly. It is set in Paris. I'm

(52:29):
telling you it is so beautiful and it's it's just
a fun movie. Also Daddy's Home too. I don't care
what anybody says. It is one of my favorites. And
Screwed to the you know that's a fun one too.
Also tonight the Wonderful World of Disney Holiday Spectacular.

Speaker 1 (52:45):
Derek Cuff will be your host. You have guns up.

Speaker 20 (52:47):
On Paramount Plus with Kevin James and Christina Ricci. My
next guest needs no intro with Adam Sandler and David
Letterman there. And also, I know Elvis is liking Heat
and Rivalry on HBO Max. You want to as well,
and that is my Danielle reports.

Speaker 2 (53:02):
Gandhi said too, she liked it.

Speaker 11 (53:05):
Episode three. By the way, Elvis, that one comes out
December fifth, So it's.

Speaker 10 (53:09):
Thursday, right, Yes, yeah, I can't wait. Oh my god,
I can't believe we saw that on Yeah. I felt
like it was Friday, yea Friday.

Speaker 7 (53:19):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (53:20):
I can't believe we sent her and watched those guys
going at it like that on my TV. I'm like, whoa,
I host the TV down. It was all it was all,
it was all hot. It was crazy. Speaking of hosting
down the TV. Oh, you know what, I don't know
if you have one. You know, you were just talking
about your talking about Cynthia Rivo a second ago. I

(53:41):
don't know if you have one, but I want one.
I want a friendship like Cynthia Rivo and uh A.
Cynthia and Ariana, I mean they basically just kind of
there as one.

Speaker 6 (53:57):
Yeah, you do.

Speaker 2 (53:59):
You know, had to explain that they.

Speaker 1 (54:01):
Cry a lot too. I noticed, like they cry about
each other. Yeah, they want to cry, and.

Speaker 2 (54:05):
They save each other from fans.

Speaker 11 (54:08):
They released like a whole statement and I don't remember
what the full term was. I'm going to have to
find it, but it was like a non curious but
don't let me get it wrong, I'll find it.

Speaker 2 (54:19):
Okay, they but they made a statement about their friendship.

Speaker 11 (54:22):
Yes, okay, because everybody's been questioning it. So many people
are saying it's almost like Ariana Grande is dying and
Cynthia Rivo's the only one that knows why, so she's
just protecting her all the time. Like there's a lot,
you know, there's a lot of talk about them.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
Isn't it just a little awkward sometimes?

Speaker 5 (54:37):
Though?

Speaker 11 (54:37):
I mean, like I was holding hands.

Speaker 2 (54:41):
Do you think it's cute?

Speaker 20 (54:42):
I think they had this really deep emotional connection on
the on the movie set, and I think that you
know they've they've they have this, they formed this bond,
which I think is very special, very sweet.

Speaker 2 (54:54):
I want one, That's my point. I want one of those.
I want the relationship that Ariana Grande and theory. I
feel like I'm just lacking in that department. I got
to get working on that. So if anyone wants to
be my really good friend, call me now and Okay,
what else is going on today? Oh, we just got
this text they said. I want to give a shout

(55:15):
out to Garrett. I went to see him at Crayola
Experience this Saturday. I'm a huge fan of the show.
I wanted to go, couldn't make it. He mentioned to
my daughter that they should FaceTime me, so I was
so excited to have him take the time to say, Hello,
what a great guy representing your show. Thank you, Garrett,
says Donna. Yea, yay, Garrett. Catch him doing something right?

(55:38):
All right, So if you ever see us out in public,
make sure you say hi. Just say hi. Don't be creepy.
It's weird coming on Monday morning. Oh guy, I saw
you all the week and I sat right next to
you at the bar for fifteen minutes and heard you talking.

Speaker 10 (57:27):
I know I did, and that's I missed them my
Pammy withdraw Actually, yeah, it's good, it's good.

Speaker 2 (57:33):
Hey. I want to talk about Saint Jude children Features Hospital.
You know, we talk about them a lot because they're
so important in the world.

Speaker 5 (57:39):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (57:40):
A woman in particular I want to talk about is Madeline.
Madeline actually has run in several runs to raise money
for Saint Jude, not knowing that one day she would
need Saint Jude to help her with her daughter Sally.
She looked down and as moms do know, they just know,
she looked down at her daughter Sully and saw something
was going on with her eyes. Went and checked it out,

(58:01):
and sure enough, her daughter Sally had raided brain cancer.

Speaker 7 (58:05):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (58:07):
And she went through all sorts of treatment. In December
of twenty twenty four, a scan came back and said, yeah,
the cancer had spread. So she had to go through twice.
But she had fun with all the radiation oncology people
and everyone at Saint Jude just made her feel really
really good. And her mom Madeleine, of course, you know,
at her side the entire treatment and through in and

(58:29):
out in the hospital. This that just understood what the
community at Saint Jude is all about. Just more than
just taking your kid in and having them healed. It's
about the community of other parents and other kids and
everyone who used to beat patients at Saint Jude actually
working there to help Sally and her mom, Madeline, And

(58:50):
it's so important, you know. And now she's doing great,
she's doing awesome. You can actually give and then here's
what we set up. I set this up for you.
I bless you. You can text the word Elvis to
sixty two sixty two sixty two and become a what
we call a partner in hope. Uh. And you could
actually get a music Gives to Saint Jude Kids T

(59:11):
shirt as well. But if you want to give, it's
really simple. Just text Elvis to sixty two sixty two
sixty two. I'm gonna do it now, sixty two sixty
two sixty two. Hold on, let me see if I
can do this to sixty two. I'm doing it live.
We should be love sixteen sixty two sixty two. Okay,
I'm typing Elvis ELVs. Okay enter go oh look, Saint Jude,

(59:33):
thanks for your support. To complete your donation, click here, Okay,
here we go. I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna join it.
Now so again, if you want to do it, become
a partner in hope and just understand what people like
Madeline and all parents are going through when you find
out your child has cancer. Can't imagine. And at Saint Jude,
they don't pay a bill. At Saint Jude, they don't
pay one penny. I mean, talk about it. No one

(59:55):
knows Saint Jude better than Froggy and Froggy Seriously, the
miracle they pull off every day, it is truly incredible.
You do not pay a bill.

Speaker 26 (01:00:02):
And that's what's great is you see that a lot
of the kids that we've spoken to and gotten to
know over time is that most hospitals feel like a hospital,
but at Saint Jude they do their best to make
it not feel like a hospital. And those kids go
there and they said a lot of times when it's
time to leave, they look at mom and dad and
they don't want to go. They've made friends with other
patients there, They've made friends with the doctors and the nurses,
and it really is such an uplifting experience. And like

(01:00:24):
you said, parents do not get a bill. We've heard
stories of where parents have shown up in the middle
of the night, there's somebody that are waiting on them
at the door. They take them in, they take the
child and they're like, well, where do we go for billing?
And they're like, there is no billing department, there is
no insurance department. Your job is to be a parent.
We will take care of that and we will help
do all we can to help help your child be

(01:00:46):
healed again. And that's all that that's all they want
you to focus on, is the child. It's amazing and
you can do it now. Type my name, Elvis, that
is my name. Type Elvis in your phone and text
it to sixty two, sixty two sixty two.

Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
And we love you, Saint Jude. It's it's so great
to have you as as a partner here at our show.
Let's go around the room. What's on your mind today?
I want to get deep into your head. We're starting
the jingle ball season is officially here. It's December, like
it's a whole new frame of mind, especially you know,
Thanksgiving kicks it off. And even though she says Halloween's

(01:01:20):
her favorite time of year, I don't know. I think
you're kind of like Christmas too, right.

Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
I love the Hoday season.

Speaker 2 (01:01:25):
Yeah, here, she goes, Yeah, we'll start with you. What's
on your mind today?

Speaker 20 (01:01:28):
So I did something this weekend that I haven't done
in a while. I took a forty eight hour break
from social media, so I how they go, It was amazing.
I didn't check it, I didn't post, I did other things.
I had more time to bake, I had more time
to prepare my breakfast for this morning, more family time.

(01:01:49):
I felt like I was more in the moment with things,
and I didn't reach from my phone every time I
there there was like a boring moment, like I did
something else to fill the time, and it was so fantastic.
And then I looked at my screen time like after
and I'm like, wow, this is amazing. So I am
definitely gonna do this more often. And I think on

(01:02:10):
a daily basis, I'm going to put it down more
often and not be on it as much, even if
it's just not a full cleanse, just kind of like,
you know what, put it aside. If I don't look
at it, I'm not gonna grab it.

Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
And I loved it. It was awesome. Everybody needs to
do this for themselves. You're gonna love it.

Speaker 2 (01:02:26):
I read an article over the weekend. I'm going to
try to find it so we can I can try
to sound somewhat intelligent about the topic. The topic was
how our brains are being rewired because of our lock
locked in mode with social media. It rewires the way
you look at things where you sit in the world,
and it's bigger. The impact is bigger than we ever

(01:02:48):
ever would have guessed. I'm gonna get into that in
a minute. So hearing someone say they took a forty
eight hour break from social media even though Scary missed you.
He wondered where you were monitoring. Yeah, something, something devastating
must be going Daniels, not on social media. Hey, what's
up with you today?

Speaker 26 (01:03:05):
Fraug So, I thought I found a way to save
some money during the holiday season, but I got caught.
I was making the trek to the mailbox before Lisa
could get there every day and taking the coupons that
are coming, so therefore she couldn't then go and be
encouraged to do shopping. That she figured me out. She
went to throw something in the garbage in the in
the garage and saw all these Wait a second, where

(01:03:28):
did all these go? So kind of backfired, but It
is a good plan if you if your significant other
likes to shop, just make it to the mailbox first
and throw out all those by ten percent.

Speaker 20 (01:03:37):
Get this differ if she pays full price anyway, and
because she doesn't have a coupon.

Speaker 26 (01:03:41):
I heard the worst girl math of I've ever heard
over the weekend. Lisa said to me, you miss one
hundred percent of the sales you don't take part in.

Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
No, there you go, No, no, and no. The numbers.
The numbers don't lie with her.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
I agree, I mean, of course you do.

Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
I found it over the weekend. I found out over
the weekend that Alex throws things away behind my back
all the time. And someone told me, he said, they said,
you know he throws these things away?

Speaker 6 (01:04:10):
What?

Speaker 2 (01:04:10):
So I said, I confronted him, what are you throwing away?

Speaker 10 (01:04:13):
The list is long, and the thing is no offense
to me or him or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:04:19):
I don't miss whatever he threw away. So I just,
you know what I'm saying, I.

Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
Don't know who was there in the first place.

Speaker 11 (01:04:24):
You kind of like, you know, it's not just the
thing you accept once you're married, that your significant other
is going to throw away your stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
You should never you should never throw something away that
doesn't belong to you really except to them. But what
was it? Look producer Sam, are you are you throwing
some of will stuff away?

Speaker 11 (01:04:40):
You know what if it's.

Speaker 9 (01:04:40):
There for a month and a half and I tell
him it's not the spot, it might disappear around month
two or three.

Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
It's happened.

Speaker 11 (01:04:46):
This happened.

Speaker 2 (01:04:47):
Wow, Wow, all right, what's on your mind today? What's
on your mind to sneaky, sneaky throwing stuff away? Thing?
You really shouldn't throw stuff away.

Speaker 11 (01:04:56):
I hope he's not listening right now.

Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
It's great.

Speaker 9 (01:04:58):
So I've been accused of being a little hippity dippity
in mind, and that's kind of hard to contest today
because it is the first of the month, which means
I encourage all of you to put a little ground
cinnamon on your palm. Don't worry, Gandhi, it's not for eating,
and you blow it into your doorway, and it's supposed
to be something for it.

Speaker 11 (01:05:13):
It's a ritual.

Speaker 9 (01:05:13):
It's for prosperity, abundance manifestation, and you're supposed to give
yourself a wish for the month, and it's really supposed
to help out. And if you look it up, people
swear by it, so do it and then you just,
you know, dust up some cinnamon. Then tomorrow morning.

Speaker 11 (01:05:26):
It's not a big deal.

Speaker 9 (01:05:27):
But good luck to you, and I hope you have
ground cinnamon ready for good wishes.

Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
Nice?

Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
You know Gandhi loves cinnamon.

Speaker 11 (01:05:35):
Just picturing the wind just attacking me with all this
cinnamon flying.

Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
Why do you hate cinnamon? Did something happen as a child?
You just don't like the flavor.

Speaker 11 (01:05:41):
I don't like the flavor, but more so than the flavor,
I really hate the smell.

Speaker 1 (01:05:45):
I love smells like cinnamon at the holiday.

Speaker 11 (01:05:48):
Yeah, I know a lot of people love it.

Speaker 2 (01:05:49):
Yeah, what's on your mind today other than your hatred?
For all right?

Speaker 11 (01:05:54):
I found one of my favorite quotes again over the
weekend and I wanted to share it with you all.
To fall asleep, you must first pretend to be asleep,
and that's how everything else works.

Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
And I'm thinking say that again.

Speaker 11 (01:06:05):
To fall asleep, you must first pretend to be asleep,
and that is how everything else works. And I love
that because there are so many things in life that
that applies to, where sometimes you really do just have
to fake it till you make it, Act confident, you
will find the confidence. If you go into a job
maybe you aren't so sure. Be confident in yourself. Act
like you've been there, and you will learn along the way.
So keep that in mind.

Speaker 20 (01:06:26):
Okay, I use that bake Itty. You make it a
couple of times this past weekend with people.

Speaker 11 (01:06:30):
Yeah, I think it works unless you're like a surgeon.
Don't do that, but you know.

Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
Don't please don't do that, Nate. What's on your mind today?

Speaker 10 (01:06:39):
If you play the New York Times games, I'm talking
about that word and connections every day.

Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
Do you have hips? No, I haven't done pitts.

Speaker 10 (01:06:47):
I've been doing pips for months now, and it has
gotten insanely hard. I did the hard level. They have easy, medium,
and hard. It took me twenty seven minutes and forty
eight seconds yesterday, half hour of my time trying to
line up dominoes to be in the proper place.

Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
My problem, the problem at all. So that's not much more.
That's great, that's that's good for your brain. It's good.

Speaker 10 (01:07:11):
It's fantastic for your brain. I agree with that, But
I think the person behind it is making them purposefully
extra hardly.

Speaker 1 (01:07:18):
Of course, they are. Yeah, you figure it out right away.

Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
It was impossible yesterday. I just I almost a half hour.
So I know, was your level, What was the level
of satisfaction when you finished?

Speaker 10 (01:07:30):
I mean, was so pissed off. I was so pissed off.
I used to be proud. You should be happy. I
should be, but I just because it tip took me
so much less time. Prior weeks ago, I could get
the difficult one done in two minutes.

Speaker 2 (01:07:45):
Now it's taken me a half hour. I think they're
doing something behind the scenes there. All right, well they're
supposed to. I'm in. I'm gonna I'm gonna start pips
this week. Hey, scary, what's up with you today?

Speaker 7 (01:07:55):
You know, just like everybody in this room.

Speaker 12 (01:07:56):
I also waved the flag of radio anywhere any chance
I get.

Speaker 7 (01:08:01):
However, I have to call it like I see it.
Parades don't play well on the radio.

Speaker 12 (01:08:07):
Our local news radio station was like promoting, make sure
you tune in to listen to our coverage of the
Thanksgiving Day parade.

Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
But how do you do that? You have to use
words to paint pictures of the floats.

Speaker 12 (01:08:20):
It's all descriptions. And you do the same thing on
the fourth of July with the fireworks. It's like tune
in for the fireworks. So I guess you can hear
the crackles.

Speaker 7 (01:08:27):
But at least but you can't see the.

Speaker 20 (01:08:29):
Float, see the SpongeBob, Like, how do they just got
the SpongeBob float?

Speaker 1 (01:08:33):
Here comes the big yellow SpongeBob.

Speaker 6 (01:08:36):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:08:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 12 (01:08:38):
I think radio should stay out of the business of
broadcasting parades.

Speaker 10 (01:08:43):
No, there's money there.

Speaker 2 (01:08:46):
They will go where there's money. I loved watching the
Macy's Thanksgiving parade. Loved it, and I was in bed
with the dogs fireplace roaring, and it was just it
was as great to watch it, and it was great
to see on NBC again.

Speaker 1 (01:09:01):
That was so cool to see her.

Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
I love that, and of course the whole thing. I
just I loved the musicians and you're right, Gandhi, a
lot of the people in that parade have been to
our show recently.

Speaker 11 (01:09:12):
It felt like the parade of Elvis Durant guests. I
was like, Oh, they were just here, they were just here.
We had e J from K Pop, Demon Hunters, we
had Matteo Butcele, we had Callum Scott, Little John Shaggy,
I mean, it was like.

Speaker 2 (01:09:26):
Everyone it was the Elvis Duran Morning Show parade. I
loved it. We'll take we'll take ownership bus the rockets.
Look at that the phones are bulging. Let's go to
line fifteen. Talk to Kelly. Kelly uh is going on
week three without social media? Week three? What made you
unplugged social media?

Speaker 6 (01:09:45):
Kelly?

Speaker 8 (01:09:46):
Ok, Oh, my gosh, I'm from nervous right now. I'm
so sorry. Perfect So, I don't really know. I just
I decided one day that I was spending way too
much time on my phone when I could have been
doing literally anything else. You know how like on Sundays,
I think, well, for me, it's Sundays you get that
notification pops up and tells you how long you spent

(01:10:08):
on your phone this week. It was like just it
kept being a ridiculous amount of time, and I realized
I was not even accomplishing anything. I'm just scrolling and
like doom scrolling, I guess, and just kind of staring
and closing the app, opening the app, closing the app,
opening the app, and I just decided I'm also with it.
I'm going to do something else. So I just I
deleted Instagram. I deleted snapchat. I got rid of everything

(01:10:31):
that I had, and I've just been without it ever since.
And I just like I believe you were saying it,
like the difference it makes is just crazy.

Speaker 20 (01:10:39):
You just didn't even realize it until it's gone, and
I feel like you feel clarity, Like it's weird.

Speaker 1 (01:10:44):
It's like this weird.

Speaker 2 (01:10:45):
Yeah, the thing that's that article. Okay, the article. I've
got to find that article. I'm gonna find it in
a minute. They do say that, as I said before,
it rewires your brain. It rewires where you think you
are in this world. It's kind of kind of a
kind of a heady thing. Yeah, but uh, you don't
realize it until after you unplug from it, like you've
done on three weeks now. Jeez. Yeah, I guess. I

(01:11:07):
guess it's the same as if you if you drink
every day, if you if you get a buzz every day,
you don't really understand what's going on until you stop
drinking every day and you're like, okay, yeah, okay, it's obvious.
So but comparing social media to alcohol or drugs, I
guess I guess you can there are similarities there.

Speaker 8 (01:11:27):
So crazy for sure, Yeah, absolutely, how long are.

Speaker 5 (01:11:30):
You going to go?

Speaker 2 (01:11:31):
I mean, are you just are you just on?

Speaker 5 (01:11:32):
Hold?

Speaker 2 (01:11:33):
Are you ever going to turn it back on? I mean,
what's your plan?

Speaker 8 (01:11:36):
You know, I haven't decided yet. It's actually so funny
because my boyfriend every day I'll be like, well, who
am I supposed to send these funny videos to that
I'm working at? And are you going to get Instagram
back yet? When are you going to get everything back?
And my friends for the first like three days, I
was getting texts like, what's wrong? What happened? Why can't
I find you on Instagram? What's going on?

Speaker 15 (01:11:55):
Nothing's going on.

Speaker 8 (01:11:56):
I just decided to kind of take a break.

Speaker 18 (01:11:58):
Yeah, so we'll see.

Speaker 8 (01:12:00):
I can put back on eventually.

Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
But right now it's scary.

Speaker 5 (01:12:04):
Hold on it.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
Look at Scary's face. You look like you just saw
a ghost.

Speaker 12 (01:12:08):
I'm breaking out to Colt sweats here for her And
it's not even my social.

Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
Media Gary, No, no, but listen to what she's saying.
And now Gandhi sent an article from the New York Times.
Study finds mental health benefit to one week social media break,
and I'm quoting from the article Young adults who engage
in a social media detox reported reductions in depression, anxiety,

(01:12:32):
and insomnia, though it was unclear how long the effects
would last. I'm gonna read this article. I gotta get
through this thing. Did you see anything else in the article?
Did you read the whole thing?

Speaker 11 (01:12:41):
Yeah, it was basically saying what you were saying, that
it's like a detox, like actually detoxing from alcohol or
something else that you're dependent on because it has rewired
our brains to just seek constant gratification in a lot
of ways. You want something, you can search it and
find it. You get that gratification from the likes and
the shares of people trying to talk to you, and
that it does have the same impacts as some addictive
other substances in our lives.

Speaker 2 (01:13:02):
Wow. And so you can see a clear difference after
going on three weeks right of social detoks.

Speaker 8 (01:13:08):
Oh yeah, one hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (01:13:09):
It's like, what, like, tell me, tell me what what's different.

Speaker 8 (01:13:13):
I feel like I just spend more time actually being present.
I'm not worried about what's going on on my phone.
So I've just you know, throughout my day, I'm paying
more attention to what's going on around me, which is great.
Picking up different hobbies. So instead of being on my
phone all the time, I got back into reading a lot,
which is something I used to do all the time,
but then I just kind of I kind of fell off,

(01:13:33):
and now I'm back into that. So just doing different things,
being more aware of being present, not worrying about scrolling
on social media, because what's the point anyway, I feel.
So it's just been it's been good, and I never
really thought I would feel that much of a difference,
but you do. It's just kind of wild.

Speaker 2 (01:13:49):
All right. You may be sitting there listening to this
from our friend Kelly and like I would never do that. Well, okay,
then don't.

Speaker 5 (01:13:56):
You try it?

Speaker 20 (01:13:57):
Honestly, I did it just for two days, and I
felt like it made the biggest difference in the world
just one day.

Speaker 8 (01:14:02):
I definitely recommended at least for a little while.

Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
Scary, you're gonna do it?

Speaker 5 (01:14:07):
No, I can't.

Speaker 12 (01:14:08):
How am I gonna promote my appearance at Margaritaville Wednesday
if I don't on social media?

Speaker 7 (01:14:14):
Don't doing this a jiggle ball ticket rate there?

Speaker 2 (01:14:16):
Okay?

Speaker 7 (01:14:16):
All right, social media?

Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
All right, Margaritaville is awaiting your arrival.

Speaker 8 (01:14:23):
I suggest it for anybody else all.

Speaker 2 (01:14:26):
Thank you so much, Kelly, thanks for spending time.

Speaker 8 (01:14:28):
With us, Sasure, Thank you guys. Have a good day.

Speaker 2 (01:14:32):
Yeah, thanks for not deleting us from your day. That
would I gave up. I gave up radio for two weeks. No,
don't do that. What are you crazy?

Speaker 5 (01:14:41):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (01:14:42):
Over the weekend we were talking about Scotty actually living
in a Hallmark movie. Uh, he went out to a
Christmas tree farm out in the in New Jersey and worked.
He worked the Christmas tree farm. I did they put
me to work?

Speaker 23 (01:14:53):
It is?

Speaker 2 (01:14:54):
It is a Hallmark movie. How much fun was that?
It was so much fun.

Speaker 24 (01:14:57):
I mean It's something I've never experienced before. I mean
I've been on the farm playing with the animals and stuff,
but to actually, you know, cut a tree down and
bring it up to a car and bail it and.

Speaker 2 (01:15:07):
Put it on top of the car. I mean that
was really cool. I enjoyed it.

Speaker 1 (01:15:10):
I be doing this every weekend.

Speaker 24 (01:15:12):
No is this They're only open for two weekends, so
I'll probably go back and help out this weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:15:17):
Yeah. A lot of people we've heard from are there
are seasonal. Of course they're seasonal. They loved the seasonal work.
But it's festive. We have a Who's a Beth Bath
from Lancaster, a teacher also works on a Christmas tree
farm during the weekends from Thanksgiving to Christmas. How many
years we've been doing this, Beth?

Speaker 27 (01:15:36):
Probably about twelve years?

Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
Wow? Now why why did you start doing it?

Speaker 5 (01:15:40):
Well?

Speaker 27 (01:15:41):
I knew somebody that was working there and they just
needed some extra help. And that's kind of how I started.
And then it just kind of kept evolving. It's like
we start Black Friday and then go right up until
right before Christmas on the weekends, and it's just it's
just something different. I'm a teacher, and it's just something
different outside of you know, working in the classroom and

(01:16:04):
being on the computer and stuff all day.

Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
Well, I'm taking you have to be in a really bad,
bad mood to be in a bad mood at a
Christmas tree. I mean, I don't know. I would love to.
I want to come back to the farm next weekend
if you're working, Scottie, maybe I'll find a tree. What
do you think, Gonda, you want to go?

Speaker 11 (01:16:21):
I would love to go. But I also want to
know how many people do the thing where they buy
the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve? Is that still a
thing and then you decorate it?

Speaker 5 (01:16:28):
Right?

Speaker 27 (01:16:31):
I think there are still people that do that, but
we don't sell them right up to Christmas Eve. But
some people will get them and you know, maybe just
have them undecorated in their living room and then I
know some people have like Santa comes and decorates the tree.

Speaker 8 (01:16:47):
I've heard that before.

Speaker 1 (01:16:48):
Those people are lucky. Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
I'm quitting ready. I'm going to working at a Christmas
tree car.

Speaker 27 (01:16:58):
Yesterday too.

Speaker 2 (01:17:00):
I mean we had snow. It snowed at a Christmas
tree farm. I mean, hello, h yeah, Nate.

Speaker 10 (01:17:04):
I love the concept of Christmas tree firms because here
in New York City they have the little stands where
they have the poor, sad already cut Christmas trees and
it's just so. I passed one every day on my
way home, and it's just so sad. It's like those
those ducks hanging in the window in Chinatown. It's like
these poor things are dead, just laying there, like God.

Speaker 5 (01:17:24):
Have you?

Speaker 2 (01:17:25):
Can you pee all over Christmas just a little more.
What I'm saying is I love a Christmas tree farm.
I feel bad for these poor trees that get cut
cut down preemptively, and some of them don't get an order.

Speaker 20 (01:17:36):
I was gonna say, so, if you don't get somebody
to adopt you, and you don't get an owner, then
you just die on the side of the road.

Speaker 1 (01:17:43):
Exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:17:44):
Okay, we have gone from the most fascinating festive Christmas
conversation too.

Speaker 5 (01:17:50):
Like this sad?

Speaker 2 (01:17:51):
Sad, I'm sad.

Speaker 11 (01:17:53):
I found out today that all Christmas trees are priced
the same. I didn't know that you get a little
one or you get a big one and that same price.

Speaker 2 (01:17:59):
Some places, a lot of places will charge by the foot.

Speaker 11 (01:18:02):
Is it your place?

Speaker 2 (01:18:03):
No, my girlfriend's place is.

Speaker 24 (01:18:04):
It's seventy five bucks a tree, no matter what size,
either a four footer or a twenty five foot or
whatever possible.

Speaker 2 (01:18:10):
It just is. What was it Taytor Swift that have
has a song called Christmas Tree Farm? It was Tater Swift. Absolutely,
I'm gonna play this. I'm gonna play it for Beth.
Can I play a song for you? You want to
hear it a Christmas?

Speaker 6 (01:18:23):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:18:23):
Absolutely, I would love it.

Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
I would love it.

Speaker 2 (01:18:25):
How old is this? I mean this song? She sounds
like she's like ten years old.

Speaker 7 (01:18:28):
Well, no, I was thinking to the other one. This
is from like six years ago.

Speaker 2 (01:18:32):
Oh nineteen. All right, do you want to give the
name of your Christmas tree farm, Kelly Sory Metzler.

Speaker 27 (01:18:39):
It's Metzler Tree Farm. It's a family run business. Yeah,
it's an awesome, awesome group of people to work for.

Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
Yeah, there you go, we'll see you this weekend. It's
Christmas Tree Farm.

Speaker 24 (01:18:48):
Are you gonna work again this weekend's goottie, Yes, I'll
probably be there on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (01:18:52):
What's the name of it? Can we give the name?
I don't know if I want to do that.

Speaker 24 (01:18:55):
Why because they don't probably don't have enough inventory for
everybody that some trees?

Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
Yeah, no, there's okay, it's a very it's a very
top secret.

Speaker 10 (01:19:04):
Yes, it's like a like a what do you want
to call it? The secret Christmas tree.

Speaker 2 (01:19:10):
It's way up the hill. It's the one. It's the
one on the hill.

Speaker 5 (01:19:15):
That one.

Speaker 2 (01:19:17):
It's like a boutiquey Christmas tree farm, just only only
a select few can know about it. All right, Oh,
here is here's Taylor Swift Christmas tree Farm. There you go,

(01:19:38):
there's your Christmas tree farm. Is it fade? Is it
a fader?

Speaker 5 (01:19:43):
No, I'm not just.

Speaker 2 (01:19:48):
It's a fad. I love that song. And let's get
into the three things we need to know, Gandhi, what's
going on?

Speaker 5 (01:19:55):
All right?

Speaker 11 (01:19:55):
Luigi Mangioni, who we know was accused of killing United
Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, is due in Lower Manhattan State
Court did day for pre trial hearings involving evidence. His
defense attorneys are trying to get evidence thrown out of
the trial related to Mangioni's arrest in Altoona, Pennsylvania, last December.
His defense team says law enforcement violated his Fifth Amendment
rights and illegally searched his property. They want the gun

(01:20:18):
and manifesto evidence found in the backpack tossed from that case.
Mangioti has pleaded not guilty to federal and state murder
charges related to the killing of Thompson nearly one year
ago in Midtown Manhattan. The CEO of Google and its
parent company Alphabet wants national AI regulation that allows America
to better compete with China. On Sunday, Sindharpachai stated that

(01:20:41):
different laws in different states is absolutely the wrong answer.
He argues that a national policy on AI can help
the industry grow while also creating safeguards. And there's a
whole list of things that they would like to be different.
And finally, the Powerball jackpot is now up to seven
hundred and forty million dollars. Nobody matched all six numbers. Yes,
you're gonna go.

Speaker 2 (01:21:02):
I'll be on jack pocket if you need me.

Speaker 11 (01:21:05):
Nobody matched all six and Saturday Nights lottery drawing for
seven hundred and nineteen million dollars, so the grand prize
will grow by at least twenty million for tonight's drawing.
So good luck everybody, And those are your three things. Hi,
this is Ariana Grandeya.

Speaker 2 (01:21:19):
Hi, this is Harry Styles.

Speaker 11 (01:21:21):
You're listening to Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

messaging rates may apply. Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (01:21:57):
Yeah, text us at fifty five one hundred. We had
an interesting text weeks ago from Alex in Yonkers, New York.
He well, I'm gonna read the original text. Can we
get him on? Is he on the line? Hell, Alex
Elder Alex? There you are, Hi Alex. How are you
feeling today?

Speaker 5 (01:22:14):
Hey?

Speaker 6 (01:22:14):
Elvis? How you doing?

Speaker 22 (01:22:15):
I'm feeling great.

Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
I'm going to read the original the original text you
sent us. How long ago was it? You went into
surgery the day you sent us, So it wasn't a
last Friday, oh last right? Okay, dear Elvis, I'm about
to leave for the hospital to get surgery on my hip.
I of course I'm scared. I'm nervous, but somehow I
know deep down everything's gonna be okay. I'm just wondering

(01:22:39):
if you could additionally speak You're amazing calming Elvis words,
the way and manner that you speak them. It's a
gift that you have and would love to be blessed
with your calmness right now before surgery. Thank you so much.
So really you you find this rhetoric, this crazy show? Calming?

Speaker 22 (01:22:59):
Yeah full again? Good morning guys. Yeah, So I've been
listening to you guys for forever and when it comes
like so all of a sudden, when certain things come
into your life like that are completely like like wow,
this is actually happening, and it preached you out. I
don't know, you guess you just kind of like go
back to certain things that just calm you. And yeah,
you guys, your voice, Elvis, something about you. You have

(01:23:22):
that gift that you talk, and I'm like, wow, like
everything's gonna be like think in my mind, everything's going
to be all right. I just keep that in my mind.

Speaker 2 (01:23:33):
I remember what I said to you. Do you remember
what I said on the air about how you just
on the replay?

Speaker 15 (01:23:39):
Yes?

Speaker 22 (01:23:40):
Yeah, it was just like just let them, you know,
they're in the driver's seat.

Speaker 2 (01:23:44):
The surgeons. The surgeons, I mean, they are scientists at work.
They're really great at what they do and they will
take care of you. But you just have to submit
and just let them take charge. And then you find
yourself more calm if you just understand it's out of
your hands, right, you can't come.

Speaker 22 (01:24:01):
Right doing The one thing that happened was because I'm
doing great though, I mean, but the thing the issue was,
so I had this surgery schedule for the end of December,
so I was mentally preparing for that. But then so
I mean, I was telling Diamond how my hit dissocated
four times, so the last two times happened within a
week and a half, and that's why I had to
push it for the you know this of the last broader.

(01:24:24):
So I wasn't there. You know, mentally, I was like, oh,
I got until the end of December. I'm gonna be good.
When if fast tracked it, that's when I kind of
like started freaking out. And that's when the night before
I was like, I don't know how am I gonna
get through this? And for some reason I was just
I just throw to you guys, and I was like,
let me text in the morning and just maybe throw
that out. And when Diamond called me and said, hey,

(01:24:45):
we're gonna try to get you on and just just
talking to Diamond by the way down its awesome. That
calmed me enough. That called me enough. And then when
I heard on the replay you guys are talking, I
was like, that's so cool, and just it just really
just I was you just have this this gift and
all you guys, you just the way you guys talk
to how the Mounty. You talk and just the things
you say, it's just it's just amazing. So I just

(01:25:06):
wanted to say thank you. I just wanted to say
thank you. Yeah, it really did it help me, even
though like just Diamonds talking to me and like that,
like and then and then when I heard you talking me,
I was like, oh my god, it's so cool, but
it really did help me.

Speaker 2 (01:25:16):
So I, well, thank you. That's very kind. We don't
really hear from people saying that we call them down, but.

Speaker 22 (01:25:26):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean it was awesome to hear.
I'm just talking to you right now. It's kind of
surreal that I'm actually speaking to you because I listen
to you guys every morning everything when I drive to work.
You truly do make us such a difference in so
many people's lives. Again, yes, I'm one of those teachers.
I'm a teacher that you know, listen to you guys
religiously every day, and you guys truly do help us
get through these these days every day just to work.

Speaker 2 (01:25:49):
And Alex, it's just an honor to speak with you
and and and thank you. I don't know there'ssari thank
you people crazy.

Speaker 22 (01:25:58):
Nuts if you don't have to like family. You know,
we love you. Sometimes you got freeze recent times. You know,
it's like it's all over the place. But I could
not imagine my life without listening to you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:26:09):
Like, thank you, thank god you're listening. We have someone
listening to this mask well look, continued health and healing
and then whenever you need us, we'll be here for you.
I don't know what you can do other than just
you know, be us. That's what we do.

Speaker 22 (01:26:24):
But I appreciate you guys so much.

Speaker 2 (01:26:27):
Thank you, thank you, and you know that makes the difference,
and you know, reaching out. But the way, thank you
for your call Alex and you're we're here if you
need this is Texas, okay.

Speaker 22 (01:26:35):
Thank you so much, Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (01:26:38):
You know we come in and do this thing every
every day. What do you do for a living that
where people actually stop down and look at you in
the eye and say, you know what I want to
tell you right now. I appreciate you very much. It
feels good, it feels awesome because you know, usually I
don't even know what what this thing's about, what is
this show about? Anything? I don't know. Sometimes Danielle is
coming up in a few minutes. We have sound with Garret.

(01:27:00):

her birthday a golden ticket to go see their Radio

Speaker 10 (01:27:50):
All right, let's talk about some of the music during
the halftime shows on Thanksgiving. Old play a little clip

Speaker 2 (01:28:27):
Out of all the artists we play, he's one of
my favorites always. I love post mom anyway, go ahead
and then something pretty cool.

Speaker 10 (01:28:33):
On Saturday night, Benson Boone actually performed at the Kennedy
Space Center between Two Rockets and it was on Visa
and iHeart Radios TikTok channels, and it was on iHeart
Radio as well.

Speaker 2 (01:28:43):
And here's a little clip of Mystical, Magical, my last

can feel like more than ice cream taking.

Speaker 16 (01:28:57):
Or feel good.

Speaker 5 (01:28:58):
Gee it's dancing?

Speaker 2 (01:28:59):

And ah and it breaks all skeletons.

Speaker 2 (01:29:48):
I mean, they're human, They're gonna have issues, all right.
Don't we should read anything into that?

Speaker 22 (01:29:53):
Right?

Speaker 18 (01:29:53):
No?

Speaker 10 (01:29:54):
No, and his wife knew about this this song too,
so it was more of a you know ed, Sharon's
very open about just his life and his relationships. So
this is just another level of that. That's on his
his new deluxe album that's out. Finally, this is coming
out of Red Bank, New Jersey. So a big family
was getting together for Thanksgiving. A twelve year old was
giving a speech and all the food that ant their

(01:30:15):
aunt worked on for about weeks. According to this twelve
year old was on an antique table. So listen to
what happens after the twelve year old gives her speech,

on the sides after they salvaged the turkey.

Speaker 2 (01:30:57):
Crazy God. All right, I'm gonna look that up. Thanks
for the sound. You're a good man, Garrett. Look at that, Garrett,
America's favorite god. Come on, Danielle, what are you coming up?

side of death crime in the human body.

Speaker 2 (01:31:37):

Speaker 1 (01:31:38):
How long did she have the head?

Speaker 20 (01:31:40):

It's a scary number. Thirty minutes. Every thirty minutes a
child in the US is diagnosed with cancer, and I
just can't imagine what it's like being a parent getting
that news. So we're talking forty families, forty families a
day are getting this diagnosis read to them. That's where

(01:32:16):
Saint Jude comes into play. Saint Jude Children's Feet startch hospital,

them so special. They wear caps and gowns full of joy.
They loved it, and you know, right there in the
middle of could what could be the scariest place ever,
they were having the best time ever. Thanks to Saint
Jude and the Imagine Academy by Chili's kids can keep

Elt surround in the morning show.

Speaker 2 (01:33:37):
Okay, we're just talking about mister Fantasy. I don't know
if you know who mister Fantasy is. He was up
here at the studio not too long ago, uh not
with our show that I wanted to find out more
about mister Fantasy. And I'm trying to figure out who
he is or what he does. I don't get it.
But so maybe you were watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade

(01:33:58):
and all of a sudden, Odas says, and now welcome
mister Fantasy. And he had his own float. He was
singing a song. It looked kind of awkward. He started
climbing up the side of his float. I thought he
was going to fall off.

Speaker 18 (01:34:11):
But what is he?

Speaker 6 (01:34:13):
What?

Speaker 2 (01:34:14):
Do we need him on our show? I feel like
we should have him on.

Speaker 20 (01:34:16):
He was a pericle actually a couple of weeks ago,
and everybody was taking pictures with him.

Speaker 1 (01:34:20):
They loved him.

Speaker 9 (01:34:21):
Yeah, they said I want him.

Speaker 2 (01:34:22):
On our show, though, can we get him on?

Speaker 11 (01:34:24):
Probably?

Speaker 2 (01:34:26):
And then talk about what.

Speaker 11 (01:34:27):
Well, well, apparently not one person had a normal human
interaction with him, which I think is exciting. Every single
person was like, yeah, I don't know what happened there?

Speaker 5 (01:34:34):
Does it?

Speaker 1 (01:34:35):
Bostin powers a little bit to you powers vibe.

Speaker 11 (01:34:39):
A lot of people think he's the well he's supposed
to be the alter ego of kjy Appa from Riverdale.
Really yeah, they say he's a mysterious musical artist.

Speaker 2 (01:34:50):
He is, but he made somehow, He made it on
the parade, He was on NBC on National t.

Speaker 11 (01:34:56):
TV making everyone laugh and probably yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:35:00):
But Hodah was talking about him, and then he came on.
He sang his song and then you know, he was done,
and they looked at each other like what the hell
is that? Yeah, and they just kind of moved on.
Nothing to see here.

Speaker 20 (01:35:11):
You know, I don't, well, we can get him on
because our friend Sharon is like basically who.

Speaker 1 (01:35:15):
He reps himself. Really, if we want him, we'll call Sharon.
She'll bring him up.

Speaker 10 (01:35:19):
I think I think we need him. I think I
don't know, it's just an odd thing.

Speaker 2 (01:35:24):
Mister fantasy. All right, let's see if we can get
mister fantasy up here.

Speaker 16 (01:35:27):
Danielle, you're up, all right?

Speaker 2 (01:35:28):
I see what you got going on today.

Speaker 20 (01:35:30):
I let's talk about Ed Sheeran since we were chatting
about him before and everybody's like, what's going on with
Ed Sheeran and Teller Swift?

Speaker 1 (01:35:36):
Are they not friends anymore?

Speaker 20 (01:35:37):
And he was talking to Access Hollywood about it, and
he says, I'm really not self conscious about this. He said,
We've been friends for many years, and when we see
each other, we see each other, we're mates.

Speaker 1 (01:35:48):
And when I see her, I'll see her.

Speaker 20 (01:35:49):
You know, a lot of us have relationships like that,
where when we see somebody, you know, we catch up
and it's like we never lost touch, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:35:57):
You can't see people constantly.

Speaker 11 (01:35:59):
He just doesn't work that way.

Speaker 20 (01:36:01):
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey are reportedly, by the way,
considering a different plan of action for their wedding, like
a bigger guest list, a larger venue. They may still
have that intimate Rhode Island ceremony, but I'm hearing maybe
BlackBerry Farm in Tennessee or a really cool place in
a private island in the Caribbean or something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:36:22):
So let's we'll just look out for the invitation like
we said before, and when that comes.

Speaker 2 (01:36:26):
Way where to go, right, Yeah, it'll have the address exactly.
No question. What do you and someone actually sent this textan?
What do you get them for their wedding gift?

Speaker 16 (01:36:36):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:36:36):
God, you donate to charity because they have everything. There's right,
That's what I would think.

Speaker 11 (01:36:41):
It would have to be sentimental. Yeah, like you can't
purchase them something that they actually care about. I don't
think they have a registry.

Speaker 1 (01:36:46):
Do you think that I would not?

Speaker 5 (01:36:48):
But maybe?

Speaker 1 (01:36:49):
I mean, I don't know who knows.

Speaker 20 (01:36:52):
So Jelly ROLLD did something really cool, You guys know
that Jelly Roll spent a lot of time in a prison,
so he went to the Metro Davidson County Detention in
Nashville and.

Speaker 11 (01:37:01):
He did a little thanksgiving drop three hundred inmates.

Speaker 20 (01:37:04):
Who weren't able to spend time with their families this year.
He provided turkey and the fixens to the men who
are there, and you know, he just loves giving back.

Speaker 1 (01:37:12):
So I love that. Mariah Carey.

Speaker 20 (01:37:14):
We know she has recorded hundreds of songs across her career,
but she could basically retire on one. All I want
for Christmas is you, because every year she makes more
than two and a half million dollars in royalty on
that one song.

Speaker 2 (01:37:31):
Why really song?

Speaker 5 (01:37:32):
Guys?

Speaker 1 (01:37:33):
How insane is that? Yeah? That's it for her.

Speaker 7 (01:37:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:37:36):
I heard that song eight thousand times this past week
and eight thousand more. And am I the only one
who just still loves that song?

Speaker 6 (01:37:43):
No?

Speaker 11 (01:37:43):
I still love it. My sister's favorite song maybe of
all time.

Speaker 1 (01:37:46):
Yeah, it's great and you know.

Speaker 5 (01:37:49):
Me and it's so funny.

Speaker 20 (01:37:51):
The video for that song was actually filmed in the
Bronx at a place called it was the Garabedian House,
and it's like a really famous Christmas House in the
Bronx that I grew up going by every single year,
so it's pretty cool to see that that's where the
thing was a film if you ever see the video.
So Macie Thanksgiving Day Parade, the ninety ninth one happened

(01:38:12):
this year, so next year will be the one hundredth
and it's at an all time record. People watched a
thirty four point three million viewers for the biggest combined
audience on record, So congratulations, Jane.

Speaker 2 (01:38:22):
I loved it. And then, and as we do every year,
as soon as the parade's over, here comes the dog show. Yeah,
the National Dog Show in Philly, and I could not
stop watching it, and my dogs were watching it. They
were loving watching the dog show and of course in
the terrier division the miniature Schnauzer one.

Speaker 5 (01:38:40):
Yeah, oh there you go. Okay, thank you.

Speaker 20 (01:38:43):
Also, Monday Night Football gives you the Patriots and the
Giants tonight. If you want a fun holiday movie, Champagne
Problems with Minka Kelly.

Speaker 1 (01:38:51):
It's set in Paris. It's really beautiful. That's on Netflix.

Speaker 20 (01:38:53):
Also, Derek Huff is hosting the Wonderful World of Disney
Holiday Spectacular. You've got the streaming premiere of Guns up
on Paramount Plus with Kevin Jane's and Christina Ricci. Also,
you've got my guest needs no Introductions. That's David Letterman
and Adam Sandler's on that with him today. And I
know that you and Gandhi are loving Heated Rivalry over
on HBO Max. If you want to check that one out.

Speaker 2 (01:39:14):
O, my god, be careful. Yeah, be careful who you're
watching that one?

Speaker 1 (01:39:18):
Grandma.

Speaker 2 (01:39:20):
Grandma would love it.

Speaker 1 (01:39:22):
And that's my idea report.

Speaker 2 (01:39:24):
Yeah, but it was so it was so funny. We
were just sitting down to watch episode one and Gandhi
sent me a text. You says, by the way, have
you seen this heated Rivalry series? Out of it? What
we pushed play just then? And then what did you say?

Speaker 11 (01:39:37):
You said, I just sent you the black moon emoji?

Speaker 2 (01:39:40):
Yeah, the black Moon emoji. But it's it's it's yeah,
it's intense. I'll leave it at that. Did you like
it though, I mean other than like the crazy sex.

Speaker 11 (01:39:50):
Yeah, listen, that part is highly entertaining too. I hope
that they get back to more of the actual plot
line and it's it's a story like I want it
to be. The full story because I know it is
based on a book.

Speaker 2 (01:40:02):
Yeah it was. It was great.

Speaker 10 (01:40:03):
Okay again that is heated rivalry. Watch it if you
need Oh, there goes to Elvis.

Speaker 1 (01:40:09):

Speaker 2 (01:40:40):
Well, a lot of people were texting, and we've got
a lot of respons here.

Speaker 17 (01:40:42):
Right, standard data and messaging rates may apply. Elvis Duran
and the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (01:40:48):
I love these texts. We're all getting them. I'm sure
you're getting them too. I got one yesterday and said, hey,
it's Karen ready for coffee. I'm thinking, oh God, my
friend Karen wants to have coffee. Yeah, something away asked
me for coffee the other day. Did Cynthia ask you
for coffee?

Speaker 7 (01:41:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:41:05):
I wasn't available. I already had plans. Okay, no, okay,
so you're not supposed to answer these at all.

Speaker 1 (01:41:11):
No, I don't think so, Well why not?

Speaker 2 (01:41:13):
Why can't you say no, I'm not having coffee with
you today?

Speaker 1 (01:41:16):
Well, what happens if you do answer? They get your stuff,
they get your info or no.

Speaker 10 (01:41:20):
No, I don't know what sort of relationship are they
trying to get into here. I also had plans with Tina.

Speaker 1 (01:41:28):
Oh had that go on?

Speaker 2 (01:41:29):
Tina? I don't know. I don't remember making plans with Tina.
But Gandi, remember you you had someone send you a
text and they want to take you out for curt Yes.

Speaker 11 (01:41:38):
It was very specific. Hey, I made curry tonight. I
was like, well, this feels targeted. Okay, but apparently you're
not supposed to respond to them because then it lets
the other side know that it is an active number.
So it makes you a more valuable target for than
the phishing scams when they call your phone and your
spam calls based on this stuff too.

Speaker 1 (01:41:56):
Don't answer, Tina, and eight don't.

Speaker 2 (01:41:58):
Answer, okay, Tina empted though, I'm low. I've got Christina
online nineteen not calling about this at all? Are you real? Christina?
Is this a real you?

Speaker 6 (01:42:08):
It is?

Speaker 2 (01:42:09):
Okay? Good? Hey? Bittersweet day for You want to tell
everyone what you're doing. You want to share, share with
the class.

Speaker 15 (01:42:15):
Oh yeah, I just dropped my son off to go
to Basic for Air Force.

Speaker 18 (01:42:20):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:42:21):
What was that like dropping him off today?

Speaker 15 (01:42:26):
Bittersweet? It's very exciting that sad. He's my oldest so
he'll be twenty one in a week and he'll be
in Basic for his birthday and for Christmas.

Speaker 2 (01:42:38):
So Mom, this is this is a rough one, isn't it.
This is a rough one.

Speaker 15 (01:42:43):
Yeah, yeah, but I'm excited. I'm excited. I grew up
in the Air Force. My dad was Air Force, so
I know how good it can be. So I am
very excited for him. He has a good hat on
his shoulders, so I'm excited. But it's also my.

Speaker 2 (01:42:57):
Baby, so he'll always be your baby.

Speaker 1 (01:43:00):
Anytime you'll see him, Like how many months are?

Speaker 15 (01:43:05):
Like about eight weeks?

Speaker 1 (01:43:06):
Okay, you can you can do it, believe me. Look,
I know it's not the Air Force, but.

Speaker 20 (01:43:11):
I have not seen Spencer in three months because he's
in the UK, and it is it kills you. But
when you hear that he's happy and he's thriving and
he's doing what he loves, that's what makes it easier
for you, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:43:25):
Oh yeah, imagine being a parent. I just cannot imagine
being a parent. I keep asking, gandhi, gandhi, let's have
a kid. Let's do it now.

Speaker 11 (01:43:33):
No, they're all crying. All these people are crying.

Speaker 2 (01:43:36):
With Christina. Congratulations and tell your son we say congratulations
and thank him for his service. Here he comes twenty
one years old in the Air Force. All right, you
go have a good bay, Christia, take care of yourself. Okay,
what's up, Nate.

Speaker 10 (01:43:51):
I was gonna ask Christina if she tried to prep
him for basic, because it is unlike anything I've never been.
But I've seen movies and it's they're rattling garbage cans
at four thirty am.

Speaker 2 (01:44:03):
All right, drop your blanks and grab your socks.

Speaker 7 (01:44:06):
It's time to get up.

Speaker 5 (01:44:07):
Now.

Speaker 1 (01:44:07):
Do they come back like jack?

Speaker 2 (01:44:09):
Like really like you know you that you don't. My
buddy went to a marine basic training at Parris Island,
and his mom when he got back, had to tell
him to put on his socks because he has told
literally what to do every second of the day. Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:44:25):
Wow, wow.

Speaker 2 (01:44:26):
Yeah, he was just like a robot. You know that
we need that here. Why do we need more the
military type management.

Speaker 1 (01:44:34):
He quick, who would be in.

Speaker 11 (01:44:37):
Charge of that?

Speaker 18 (01:44:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (01:44:38):
Who's the most drill sergeant like person?

Speaker 6 (01:44:40):
We have.

Speaker 7 (01:44:44):
Like full metal jacket, you know that. That's what it's like.

Speaker 11 (01:44:48):
Socks full of pennies, private pile.

Speaker 20 (01:44:51):
Don't you have to have your like bed made a
certain way? Yeahs and yeah corner my.

Speaker 10 (01:44:56):
Dad lost his weekend passing basic training because he didn't
make his bed the right way.

Speaker 7 (01:45:00):
Yeah. Is that a form of bullying?

Speaker 10 (01:45:04):
Oh no, no, no, maybe, well it's it's a relative
of bullying maybe, but it's very it's very important. It's
very Look what it's creating.

Speaker 6 (01:45:14):
You know.

Speaker 11 (01:45:15):
It's not like you go to basic training then just
go home. You go to basic training and then you're
enlisted for a certain amount of time. You need to
be on your toes. I'm ready to go at any second.
It's kind of important.

Speaker 2 (01:45:26):
Let's see the weekend. We're just talking of getting notes
together about what we did over the weekending. Is anyone
watching Pluribus?

Speaker 5 (01:45:33):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:45:35):
How many episodes in our.

Speaker 11 (01:45:36):
I'm two episodes in. Andrew was raving about it. Then
you said, oh my god.

Speaker 2 (01:45:40):
Pluribis Yeah, I've only seen the first episode and it.
I was by myself watching it. I got really anxious
of my anxiety levement. WHOA, it's interesting, pluribus you describe it.

Speaker 11 (01:45:55):
So it's about I mean, I don't think you're ruining
anything by saying it's about a mind virus that takes
over the world quickly, I mean hours, like quickly quickly,
and then what happens from that point? I think. I
don't want to give anything away, but I think it's
an interesting thing to think about, like who's who's living
the better life? The people with it or the people

(01:46:16):
without it?

Speaker 2 (01:46:17):
Exactly? I mean the people with it. I mean it's
the majority of the people on earth that can catch it,
and maybe like thirteen people that don't have it, right.

Speaker 11 (01:46:26):
Wow, yeah, I think it was like twelve, yeah, eleven
or twelve yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:46:29):
Okay, But but that first episodes of like what is
going on? I don't know, Danielle, I bet it is
it a book? Was it a book originally?

Speaker 1 (01:46:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:46:38):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (01:46:38):
I'd have to look it up.

Speaker 15 (01:46:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:46:39):
It sounds like something daniel wouldn't think.

Speaker 11 (01:46:41):
Get it it was because I know it's it's from
the same day that created Breaking.

Speaker 2 (01:46:44):
Bad Okay, Yeah, I'm okay, I'm into episode two today.
What else do we watch it?

Speaker 1 (01:46:50):
And they're good All Her Fault on?

Speaker 20 (01:46:52):
Well, I'm watching it on Peacock. I think you might
get it on Prime as well. But people were raving
about it. Somebody posted it. Then my husband actually watched
it before me.

Speaker 1 (01:47:01):
It's so good.

Speaker 20 (01:47:02):
It's about a child that goes missing and then you
find out how it unravels who took the child and why,
and the ending blew my mind and it's it's really
really good. It's called All Her Faults, Like I said,
some Peak. I think it's like eight episodes, so it's easy.

Speaker 22 (01:47:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:47:19):
Is it anyone watching Malice?

Speaker 1 (01:47:21):
No, it's not.

Speaker 2 (01:47:23):
Uh, it's supposed to. It's supposed to be great. I
don't know. It's all I knows. It's on Prime.

Speaker 5 (01:47:29):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:47:30):
It was created by James Wood. What is Malice about Me?

Speaker 6 (01:47:33):
See?

Speaker 2 (01:47:33):
Malice is a Prime video psychological thriller about Adam, a
charismatic tutor who manipulates his way into a wealthy family's
life with the hidden agenda of destroying them. Okay, just
what we need, Okay, someone in our family trying to
destroy us.

Speaker 11 (01:47:51):
Perfect for the holidays.

Speaker 2 (01:47:53):
Danielle was actually crying. What was it the Lexus commercial
you're talking about?

Speaker 1 (01:47:56):
Oh my gosh, I want to see this commercial.

Speaker 2 (01:47:59):
What what makes it? What makes you cry? When you
see this?

Speaker 1 (01:48:01):
Fall Landslide is playing?

Speaker 23 (01:48:03):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:48:03):
So that song gets me every single time.

Speaker 20 (01:48:05):
And then it's all about like growing your kids growing up,
and it's they open the door every holiday and the
kid is older. Like it starts out the kid being
a little kid and he's your baby, and then they
get older and it ends up with them having their
own children. And I'm like, I cannot watch it. I
go in another room now when it's on. They know
what they're doing, these Lexus people.

Speaker 2 (01:48:26):
Seriously, does it make you want to buy elections?

Speaker 6 (01:48:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:48:28):
No, but it kills me every time commercial.

Speaker 11 (01:48:31):
I know what commercial talking about. There's a dog in
the back Sie, Yeah, that's the one that got me.

Speaker 10 (01:48:37):
There's got to be a dog. I mean, these are
the things you check off on your make me cry list? Seriously,
people getting older and dogs getting older.

Speaker 11 (01:48:43):
Yes, the dog does get older.

Speaker 1 (01:48:45):
And then and that's the whole song.

Speaker 6 (01:48:48):
Dog.

Speaker 2 (01:48:49):
Okay, I'm gonna watch out for this commercial. Let's get
into the three things we need to know Gandi. What's
going on?

Speaker 11 (01:48:54):
A retired FDNY deputy chief who died from a nine
to eleven related illness recently will be laid to rest today.
Funeral services are being held for James Riches. He passed
away on Thanksgiving from the nine to eleven related illness
at age seventy four. He spent months after the September
eleventh terror attacks assisting with rescue and recovery operations at
Ground Zero and searching for the body of his firefighter's son.

(01:49:18):
His son's body was finally found in March of two
thousand and two. Family members say he suffered from a
variety of health issues for the last twenty five years,
and he spent thirty years with the FDNY until his
retirement in two thousand and seven. Luigi Mangioni, who we
know was accused of killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson,
is due in a Lower Manhattan state courtroom today for

(01:49:40):
pre trial hearings involving evidence. His attorneys are trying to
get some evidence thrown out of the trial related to
his arrest in Pennsylvania. His defense team says law enforcement
violated his Fifth Amendment rights and illegally searched his property.
They want the gun and manifesto evidence found in his
backpack tossed from the case. Mangioni has pleaded not guilty
to federal and st eight murder charges relating to the

(01:50:01):
killing of Thompson nearly a year ago, right out starter,
right outside our studios here in midtown Manhattan. And finally
it's gonna be big tonight. The powerball jackpot is now
up to seven hundred and forty million bucks because nobody
matched all six numbers and Saturday Nights lottery drawing which
was seven hundred and nineteen million, so that grand prize
will grow by at least twenty million dollars for tonight's drawing.

(01:50:25):
And those are your three things.

Speaker 10 (01:50:26):
Our friend Tommy Jadario hosts I've never said this before.
It's a podcast where he interviews our favorite actors and artists.

Speaker 2 (01:50:34):
Tommy Who's on the podcast this week? Hey Elevis.

Speaker 6 (01:50:36):
Today's guest is the one and only Matt Rodgers from
Las Cultury Stuffs.

Speaker 5 (01:50:40):
With Bow and Yang.

Speaker 2 (01:50:41):
He is opening up about finding love, his Christmas tour.

Speaker 16 (01:50:44):
His awkward moment with Mariah Carey, and so much more.

Speaker 2 (01:50:47):
Get ready to laugh. You don't want to miss this.
I've never said this before. New episodes every Tuesday.

Speaker 10 (01:50:53):
Listen on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.
All right, I was done. Let's get out of here
until next time. Say peace out, everybody, piece out, everybody,
