Speaker 9 (04:37):
Have a good day you too.
Speaker 6 (04:38):
Hold on one second, y'all have a good day too.
Oh there's a Texan, y'all. I remember when I moved
to New York I used the word y'all. People looked
at me like I had seventeen heads.
Speaker 12 (04:47):
Really, it's actually proper English though, it's you and all together, y'all.
Speaker 6 (04:51):
Okay. Well, when I moved here, they said, don't use
the word y'all. You use the word use. So rather
than say y'all, what are y'all doing, you say what
to use doing? This is the same word, basically right
on the interchangeable light, they are depends on where you
are on the globe. All right, let's roll it into
the three things we need to know from Gandhi and
get on with our day. Y'all, what's going on?
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Gandhi?
Speaker 4 (05:12):
All right?
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Dangerous storms across the Midwest on Tuesday left at least
three people dead. Two of the deaths were in Indiana.
A four year old boy was killed when a tree
fell on his home in Jennings County. Another person killed
in a house explosion believed to be storm related. One
more person died in Ohio. Also in Ohio and Grafton,
sixteen people were struck by lightning at a prison and
(05:33):
taken to local hospitals. Meanwhile, the National Weather Service confirmed
three tornadoes touched down near Chicago yesterday. As well, gender
transition procedures four miners will no longer be funded by
Medicaid after a new move by the Trump administration. In
a truth social post, President Trump wrote, we are not
going to pay for our innocent children to undergow the
undergo these barbaric procedures and practices which result in unthinkable
(05:56):
and irreversible harm to their young bodies. The Centers for
Medicare and Media Services announce the funding will be available
for a tapering off period of up to six months
for children currently on hormone therapy. And finally, if you
are a YouTube content creator, pay attention because it looks
like creators are going to find it a little bit
harder to earn money on YouTube. In order to get
ad revenue, creators now need to have eight thousand qualified
(06:19):
watch hours over the past year or twenty million qualified
shorts views over.
Speaker 13 (06:24):
The last three months. That is double the old requirement.
And those are your three things?
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Are you ready for your Wednesday? Yeah, let's do it.
What's up y'all?
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Ambiance? Hi, this is Taylor Ski, It's Lady Ganga. Hey,
it's dojakat.
Speaker 13 (06:39):

Speaker 3 (07:09):
God, almost didn't make it back. Hi everyone, Oh, I
got my cappuccino. I'm ready to go.
Speaker 6 (07:15):
Yeah, my crappuccino. Let it kick in anyway, Welcome to
the day. How was your night last night, Danielle? What
did you do?
Speaker 7 (07:22):
I went to the New York Yankee game because it
was K pop demon Hunter's night.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
Oh, of course.
Speaker 7 (07:28):
It was so awesome. The whole uh stadium was in purple,
and they played all kinds of K pop music and
up on the screen every time they put the Seattle
Mariners faces where they put the you know, their picture.
They were dressed like the Soga boys the demons.
Speaker 6 (07:43):
Oh wow wow they thought they thought that through. Did
you get a bobblehead?
Speaker 4 (07:47):
I did?
Speaker 7 (07:48):
I got my roomy bobblehead. Who is when she's wearing
a Yankee jersey and I'm very happy?
Speaker 3 (07:53):
Thank you? You know what.
Speaker 6 (07:55):
You gotta love her, But Danielle, she is the queen
of Chopsky's. I don't times she goes anywhere in this world.
She brings a little thing home like a figurine or
a bobblehead or a stuffed animal.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Where do you put all this stuff?
Speaker 7 (08:07):
So if you want to come to my house, I don't.
I when we go away somewhere, we will and we
find something really cool. You will find it in my
living room on display. I don't care what the rhymeal
reason is in my living room, as long as it
brings us joy and it has a memory to my family,
it has a place in my home.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
I thought Danielle was about to say, when you come
into my house you won't fit in that.
Speaker 7 (08:29):
That is not true.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
That is Gandhi. How was your night last night? What'd
you do?
Speaker 13 (08:32):
It was great? I just I really didn't do a ton.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
I got to work out in it was incredibly hot
and sticky, and outside of that just relaxed.
Speaker 13 (08:40):
It was great.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
Uh what about you, frog? Would you do? Did you
grill on the big red egg or big Green egg?
And everything? I did not? Last time?
Speaker 12 (08:47):
I got a nice, good and nice long walk in.
But then I also made tacos here at home last night.
It was Taco Tuesdays.
Speaker 6 (08:52):
Taco Tuesday too. You know what we used to do
Taco Tuesday every week? I guess especially during COVID. But
I haven't had a Taco Tuesday some time.
Speaker 7 (09:01):
No, I might do Taco Wednesday this week because I doesn't.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
Have a tea in It makes no sense. And what
about you, Scay? What did you do last night?
Speaker 14 (09:09):
A couple of sanitation workers have a podcast called The
Brooklyn Stoop and I was a guest on that podcast yesterday.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Wow, how far?
Speaker 15 (09:16):
What did you do?
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Did you go eat some Brooklyn food?
Speaker 10 (09:18):
Well?
Speaker 14 (09:18):
Yeah, well, so we do part one sitting on the Stoop,
and then part two was reviewing the reviewer, where we
see if they got paid and you got played. So
we did Danny and Cook's cheese Steaks, and we did
another cheesesteak spot, and then we did Veniro's the dessert
spot on.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
The Oh yeah, the East village that's been there for
a billionaeres. Yeah, Venios. And how was your night there? Nate?
Were you a study boy with a date last night?
I was not.
Speaker 11 (09:43):
I actually stayed in and I finished a book I've
been reading because I realized I normally read I don't know,
a dozen two dozen books a year. I've only read
three so far. Whoa, what did you finish it?
Speaker 3 (09:55):
I did? I finished it? Power through in that nice.
You guys wouldn't care.
Speaker 11 (10:01):
It's about captain journey to visit about what about what
Captain Cook?
Speaker 3 (10:06):
You guys know who Captain Cook was.
Speaker 11 (10:08):
Of course he discovered ah while discovered Hawaii, the first
European there had been around sumbled he stumbled across it exactly.
He actually did kind of stumble across it. They didn't
know it was there. How crazy is that?
Speaker 6 (10:19):
Hey, You'll notice that in reading books versus watching TV
shows and watching movies. In books, you have more of
a finality. The story has a great pot I mean
like it's there, the ending is there, it's done. When
it comes to a series of TVs or TV shows
or movies, I feel like I always need more. The
book always closes it out for you.
Speaker 7 (10:40):
Book is always better. I always feel the book is
so right.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
I never thought of it like that. I didn't want
a sequel.
Speaker 15 (10:46):
That was it.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
Great book. Yeah, we watched another episode of Sterling Point
last night.
Speaker 6 (10:51):
We're really getting into it. I like it, all these
rich kids living in Canada. It's a long story. You
got to see it for yourself. But anyway, I hope
you guys had a great night. Whoever whoever was calling
me lest I was getting a weird call from a
blocked number and my phone usually don't let block numbers
come through. I know you're listening. I'm never going to
enter your call ever. I don't wonder who be I.
(11:17):
I don't wonder anymore. I don't care. I really don't care.
It's getting to the point now where I'm finding things.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
That I used to care about. I don't care about
it anymore. Is that good?
Speaker 13 (11:25):
Depending on the thing?
Speaker 8 (11:26):
Sure could be.
Speaker 6 (11:28):
Well, I mean, yeah, the things that the irritating things
that used to irrit I let irritab me, do not
irritate me anymore.
Speaker 7 (11:33):
Maybe it's that's a good thing.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
Block callers, How does that block? Block calls don't come
through phones anymore?
Speaker 12 (11:39):
Do they?
Speaker 16 (11:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:40):
They do, but so on mine. I have that spam
blocker on, so they have to tell you who they
are to even get through.
Speaker 13 (11:46):
And it is always my dad blocking your number. Dude, Like,
what do you do when.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
You turned your dad blocker on? Yeah? That's not good.
All right, let's get into the horoscopes. Who's doing them today?
Speaker 13 (11:59):
Danielle and I are. Oh it's on the other side,
other side.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Always thought that was a weird, a weird phrase. Take
it on the chin?
Speaker 13 (13:36):
Yeah, hello? Is that we all know?
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Well do we?
Speaker 10 (13:42):
No?
Speaker 13 (13:42):
Isn't it? It's like boxing, right.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Isn't it.
Speaker 6 (13:44):
It's like I see a fist hitting you on the chin, Like,
just take it on the chin? All right, well are
you looking it up?
Speaker 3 (13:52):
So you're looking it up? Take it on the chin.
It's the boxing thing, like Gandhi said, yes, okay, just

Speaker 7 (13:57):
I love how once is take it on the chin

Speaker 6 (14:52):
So it's got a great text from Matt online three
rather than I'll read it to you, Matt, read your
text to everyone listening. Yeah, go ahead, guys, people are wild.
I got a gun pulled on me yesterday because I
didn't let someone over in traffic. I would like to
wish diarrhea on their whole family.
Speaker 8 (15:13):
I'm mat.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Is diarrhea enough for someone who pulled a gun on you?
Good God? Man? Are you? How are you doing today
with this going on?
Speaker 15 (15:23):
You know what? Such as I stresed about it the
whole night. I just I felt like I had a
different headitude yesterday. I don't know. It just I don't know. Man,
it really frustrates me. It bothers me.
Speaker 6 (15:33):
It should you know what, You have every right to
be frustrated. You know, it's so crazy in this world
of ours, you know what. Okay, so I you know
I don't want to let you into traffic. Okay, well,
let's move on with our day. But pulling a gun.
Speaker 13 (15:45):
On you, that's crazy. It should be more than diarrhea,
like legal action.
Speaker 7 (15:49):
Yeah, that's ridiculous.
Speaker 15 (15:51):
I was on the phone on my day. He was like,
you're calling the con I was like, no, because I
didn't really have proof. He said, because he never got
I never got his life to slit on my camera.
I just got his car and kind of him.
Speaker 6 (16:02):
Wow, but it is it's such a I'm sure you
felt violated and your heart skipped a beat. I mean,
how did you feel when you realize he was pointing
a gun at you on traffic?
Speaker 15 (16:14):
My whole body singles, Yeah, I guess I got scared.
I ain't gonna huh.
Speaker 6 (16:19):
No, no, you should no having a gun pulled. If
you don't get scared with a gun pulled on you,
something's wrong with you.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
So what did you do? Go ahead?
Speaker 15 (16:29):
Well, the worst part is I'm about to be at
work in about thirty minutes, and that's where it happened.
To a work on the street to my work.
Speaker 6 (16:37):
Wow, well, just hope you don't see this person. Just
keep looking forward and just get to work and get
out of the car and get in so white. Uh yeah,
I know it makes you paranoid that that maybe they're
waiting for you or something.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
I get that, you know, but well, man, thank god,
you're okay. What's what's that?
Speaker 15 (16:54):
Even my wife thought that. She was like, you think
he's gonna look at your plate and find out where
you live? It. I was like, well he does, he
doesn't looking I could do think he probably didn't.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
He Nah, he did? What do you think, Gandhi?
Speaker 2 (17:04):
Well, with all of these flock cameras that we're talking
about now, is there any chance that the police will
look at something like that and be able to get
the information and go after this person.
Speaker 15 (17:13):
When I get down, and I'm going to look and
see what cameras are around where it happened deck, and
then I'm gonna make my decisions. I'm also gonna look
my camera up to the computer at work and see
what I can find on the end.
Speaker 7 (17:22):
Yeah, because you know, I know it happened to you also,
but you don't want it to happen to somebody else,
and then it could even be worse with this thing.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
You know.
Speaker 15 (17:29):
You know I used to have my three kids with
me in the car because I got a seven month
old to eight year old and seventeen year old, and
seventeen year ain't with me much anymore because he drives,
but I usually have my other two kids with me.
Speaker 7 (17:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (17:40):
Wow, So it really that moment in time changed your
outlook on life. Look at it, and and now we're
talking about it's changing how everyone listening to us is
feeling about a situation like this. Well, Matt, first and foremost,
you know, getting from point A to point B in
your car should not be frightening you shouldn't be frightening
for your life. So you know, if someone gets aggressive
(18:02):
in traffic, just he got and let it go.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
You know.
Speaker 6 (18:06):
Just they're crazy people out there, Matt, and we we
need for you to be safe.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
You know. That's that's the bottom line.
Speaker 15 (18:14):
It is. It is specially for the kids. Yes, I
guess I don't want anybody else to have it to
anybody else. I don't think if they have a kid
in a call with them, think about the kids.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Easy, Absolutely, all right, Matt, Look, thank you so much
for listening to us, and you stay safe on the road.
Hold on, you really want to wish diarrhea?
Speaker 6 (18:30):
Yes, if you want to, all right, But you want
to wish it on this person? Is it a guy
that did it? It will okay because it could have
been Daniel. I wouldn't be surprised if she had guns
in the car. Absolutely yeah, crazy crazy. Okay, So it
was a guy, But you want to watch diarrhea on
his entire family? Yea, come on, Daniel stopped trying to
(19:01):
stop the diarrhea.
Speaker 9 (19:02):
I know.
Speaker 7 (19:02):
But what if it is like a cute old ninety
year old grandma who didn't.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
Do it it?
Speaker 6 (19:08):
Don't pull a gun if you want grandma to have
a nice drive, feecal drop, you know, Come all right, Matt, Matt,
it will get better today. You'll feel safer today. But
take care of yourself and think, thank God, you're okay.
That's all I can say. Thank you for.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
Listening to us.
Speaker 15 (19:25):
Thank you. Love you guys.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
I love you too, Matt. Matt in Roanoke, Virginia. There
you go, scary. So that's it.
Speaker 6 (19:34):
People think they're in their car, they're playing some kind
of video game.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Sometimes it's not a video game. It's not.
Speaker 6 (19:41):
It's not. You need to be safe. You need to
be driving safely. You need to if someone is aggressively driving.
If you notice when you're on the highway and you're
driving speed limit or maybe a little faster, and someone's
zooming in and out of traffic coming behind you and
they pass you going one hundred miles an hour, it
makes everyone speed up a little bit if you notice that.
Because people's anxiety, your anxiety. Everyone's getting anxious on the
(20:03):
road collectively, and it's not good for the community on
the road. I truly believe when you see people acting
like a holes on the road, you've got to go
the other way. You've got to slow down, let them leave,
forget they existed. So be careful out there.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
Man.
Speaker 12 (20:18):
Nothing's better, nothing's a better feeling than when somebody is
being a jackass on the road and they go flying
around you and they're doing everything and hawking to people
and everything else. And then a couple of miles up
you see them pulled over, yeah.
Speaker 13 (20:32):
The red light at the same time, and just look
at them like, well, hello, no, don't do that.
Speaker 6 (20:35):
Don't look at them, you know me. You know what
I always say it about. Oh god, there's never a
copper revenue, need one. I never ever see that.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
Only one time have I seen someone trying to pass
in the uh in the side of the of the
road and they ran up on a curb and the
car almost flipped over. They totaled their car probably, and
I was like, good bye, anyway, please, let's all be careful.
Speaker 6 (21:01):
Let's move on and get into Danielle's report. See what's
going on in the world of Danielle. Danielle.
Speaker 7 (21:06):
All right, it looks like Spiderman Brand New Day will
continue to dominate the box office with another maybe sixty
million dollar weekend. We also have previews starting tomorrow afternoon
for Paul Patrol the Dino movie. I know a lot
of people want to see that, and the end of
Oak Street. That's the Anne Hathaway you and McGregor won.
So that's on the way. Olivia Rodrigo released the all
women acts for the Daisy Chain Fields Festival and their
(21:29):
schedules set times on the two stages are staggered, which
is a good thing, which means they will not overlap,
so if you're going to the show, you'll be able
to catch every act if you want to. You've got
Olivia Rodrigo with special guests Stevie Nick, Sarah McLaughlin, Chapel Rone,
Doci Kat's Eye. I mean, that's just some of the
people that are going to be there. I'm pretty sure
(21:51):
tickets are sold out and there's a wait list right now,
but it's all happening Saturday, August twenty ninth. Nonprofit is
dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls and
it will benefit from one hundred percent of the net proceeds,
so that is amazing. Next week in Ariana Grande begins
a ten night run at London's O two Arena. Those
shows will be filmed for a concert special, So that's fun.
(22:15):
If you can't get to the show, you get to
see it that way. And this fall, Taylor Swift will
be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. She's
going to become the youngest ever inductee, and of course,
she said, I wanted to learn with and from the
best and get to immerse myself in a community of storytellers.
To be honored by this city I love so much
(22:35):
is a beautiful thing and I'm very grateful. That's according
to Rolling Stone Magazine. So Harry Butter and the Cursed
Child is still on Broadway and we're loving it. And
Tom Felton he has decided to extend to January third.
You know, he plays Draco Malfoy and a lot of
people were worried they weren't going to get to see him. Well,
you will get to see him because, like I said,
he is extending his run, so you can see him
(22:58):
until January third. Oh, we've seen Ray and Michael B.
Jordan kind of running around together. They were at six
Flags over the weekend and everybody's like, Oh, are they
a couple? Are they dating? What's going on? Well, Tamz
is saying that they're actually working on a soundtrack for
a movie project of Jordan's together and that they're just friends,
(23:18):
even though they look a little bit cozy. So I
don't know. I guess, you know, take it. What do
you think you're gonna read into it anyway? Even if
you know whatever? So I don't know. So ninety year
old Julie Andrews will not be in Princess Diary story.
And it's not because she's ninety. It's not like she's
sitting in a rocking chair and she can't get up.
(23:38):
She says, she just doesn't feel like she needs to
be in front of the camera anymore.
Speaker 15 (23:42):
She did.
Speaker 7 (23:42):
I think the absolute truth is that I am really
past all of this. I'm not completely retired, but it's
a different kind of work that I do these days.
I do a lot of books, a lot of recording podcasts,
a lot of voiceovers. And I mean, I guess she
can just make her decisions, right. She's made enough money
and she's ninety.
Speaker 17 (24:00):
What's that?
Speaker 7 (24:00):
Mumford and Son. They were performing at the Garden and
their theme song, the ted Lasso theme song, is actually
performed by them, so they surprised the audience by bringing
ted Lasso on stage Jason Sedakis and he performed with them.
By the way, if you want, a brand new episode
of ted Lasso dropped last night at nine, so you
can see that today. And one of my favorite books
(24:23):
from Colleen Hoover is Verity. It's a very dark book,
but it's a fantastic book. And the first trailer for
the movie is out. It's Dakota Johnson and Ann Halthaway
movie set to hit theaters October second. So what are
we watching? I know your love and sterling point Elvis?
Speaker 6 (24:40):
Oh yeah, we watched another episode and tonight another episode
of the Shards will be drapping.
Speaker 7 (24:44):
Oh yeah, I think that's number one right now. I'll
where it's streaming.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
So I'm loving it. I'm loving it. It's great.
Speaker 7 (24:52):
Yeah, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Episode two? Like
I said of ted Lasso season four on Apple TV
and the fourth season premiere of Reacher on Amazon.
Speaker 16 (25:00):
Don't you like that?
Speaker 4 (25:01):
Oh yeah, this is Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 6 (25:11):
Don't you love when people go that extra mile to
take care of you, you know what? Like for instance,
Andrew every morning, you know what, even though he's officially
the operations manager of the morning show. He's like, you
know what, I have a few moments. You guys have
to work in the microphone room. I'm gonna go get
you some coffee. Let's give that boy a raise. We
love a wow. It's the same thing when you're a
(25:32):
person who owns a business and people are applying for
a job you have that's open, and they go that extra.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Mile to go, Hey, I really want this job. And
I'll tell you what.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
I've been studying up on what you do in your business,
and I think I can help here and here. You
know what, that's someone who's very interested in the job

ZipRecruiter dot com slash Elvis.
Speaker 4 (26:47):
Oh my god, Elisa around in the morning show.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
You know what, It's fun being single, But sometimes when
you're single for a.
Speaker 6 (26:55):
Little while, you're like, ah, I think I want to
meet someone. I mean, ask Nate, Nate sal there poking
and prodding, a lot.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
Of prodding, not as much poking as I would like.
Speaker 6 (27:05):
But Paul is online three uh, listening to us in
Pembroke Pines, Florida.
Speaker 3 (27:11):
Good morning, Paul. Hi, Well hello, So Paul sent a
text saying I'm going to my first singles meet and
greep group dinner tonight. Are you a little nervous about this, Paul?
Speaker 6 (27:25):
Just a little bit, just a little I can see why.
I mean, you know, getting in getting out there with
total strangers. Do you know anyone who's going to be
get this meet and green.
Speaker 8 (27:35):
No, and then that's the point of this dinner. You
just put your.
Speaker 18 (27:38):
Name in the hat and this they plan the dinner
for you, and then you show up and Hi, you
have a conversation. If you like them, I guess you yeah,
if you like them, I guess you tell the woman
in charge, and then they plan accordingly, exchange numbers, and then.
Speaker 8 (27:56):
You go from there.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
Okay, yes, the woman in charge. Is it like the
madam It sounds.
Speaker 8 (28:04):
Like madam No, no, Madam president.
Speaker 7 (28:07):
Does it have to be a match?
Speaker 11 (28:09):
Like?
Speaker 7 (28:09):
Do they also have to show an interest in you
and tell the woman in charge that yes, I like Paul.
Speaker 8 (28:14):
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
Okay, yeah, so there's a woman in charge on.
Speaker 15 (28:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 18 (28:20):
Yeah, it says it online that at the end of
the dinner. I guess you fill out something that you
like this person or I didn't like that person, and
then I guess she tallies at the end of it,
and then if there's a match, then you go from there.
Speaker 10 (28:32):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
Okay, what do you think, Gandhi, Paul?
Speaker 13 (28:35):
What are you looking for?
Speaker 8 (28:39):
Preferably long term relationships?
Speaker 18 (28:41):
I am I just turned thirty nine in June I'm
about to be forty, so I really haven't been in
a relationship yet, and I'm just trying to find the one.
Speaker 13 (28:51):
No, no, I mean like quality is in a person.
Speaker 8 (28:54):
The quality is in a person.
Speaker 13 (28:55):
Yeah, what's important to you in the dating work.
Speaker 8 (28:58):
In the dating world. And that's a serious question, GANI
oh know, I am talking serious us, Nate.
Speaker 7 (29:07):
He's gonna say breathing, so you know.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
Take it alive and then we'll go, well, hold on,
He's trying to tell us, listen, ahead, go ahead, Paul.
Speaker 18 (29:16):
Pulse is always nice, breathing is good and okay, someone
that that makes me laugh and is and is romantic,
someone that's not outrageous. Like I like the music scene
to an extent, but I don't need to go to
a nightclub every single night. I'm truly okay with the
whole Netflix and Chill thing. We could just stay home
(29:37):
and bingch watch a series that's perfectly fine with me.
Speaker 8 (29:40):
I love cooking, so.
Speaker 5 (29:42):
I like this.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
This is good.
Speaker 6 (29:44):
Yea, I may show up tonight and find you well,
So you know, that's the thing. It's so easy to
to say, Okay, here's the list of the things I'm
looking for, and I really want a long term relationship.
You really don't know how to make any of that
to be until you meet someone and you get started, right,
So it's first first impressions versus what you want in
(30:07):
the long term. So first impressions, what are you thinking?
Speaker 8 (30:12):
First impressions?
Speaker 18 (30:13):
I think you should put yourself out there right in
the beginning and just let them know upfront what you are.
Speaker 8 (30:20):
I think the big thing with me is that I'm
an epileptic, so I left them.
Speaker 18 (30:24):
So I love letting anyone know up front, Hey, I
have an epilepsy. This is what you're getting in and
if you're okay with that, then let's move forward. A
lot of the times they say yes. Sometimes they say
no because they're scared of it, and then you go
from there wow.
Speaker 6 (30:40):
So be direct in the very beginning, like, Hi, good
to me. My name is Paul. I have epilepsy.
Speaker 13 (30:45):
I like that.
Speaker 3 (30:49):
If you came up to me and said that, oh,
really okay.
Speaker 6 (30:52):
But if you came up to me and said that,
I would go okay, let's talk about this. The fact
that you came out of the shoot with that was
the first thing you told me you have eple I
think I want to talk to you.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
Let's go find out more interesting.
Speaker 18 (31:04):
Oh no, definitely, yeah, because it also shows your true
colors that you're here for the long term or not
just here.
Speaker 8 (31:10):
For something short.
Speaker 12 (31:11):
Yeah, you you.
Speaker 18 (31:13):
I personally want to know up front what the person's
about and what their past was, what their future intents are,
what their present intents are all about.
Speaker 3 (31:22):
So yeah, like, hi, glad I met you. It's so
good to meet you. I have no gag reflex.
Speaker 15 (31:36):
Ya.
Speaker 13 (31:37):
No, I just think that's great.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
I think it's important to put that's about there first
and not hide anything. What about like physically is there?
Do you have a type?
Speaker 18 (31:47):
I mean, I can't believe I'm saying this on the air,
but I'm more of the sun figure looking for his
daddy figure.
Speaker 8 (31:52):
Is that wrong? Okay?
Speaker 13 (31:54):
No, I think it's important to identify these things. You're
looking for a daddy. I'm into it.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
You're talking, You're talking to a room of daddy's right now.
All right?
Speaker 8 (32:08):
Do you identify yourself as daddy all the time? Elvis
and I just.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
Look my leg? Yeah, I remember. I remember when I
was as I was starting to mature and get older,
people called me a daddy and called me a bear
like I'm not your daddy.
Speaker 6 (32:26):
I'm not a bear. You know, stop it, leave me alone.
But sometimes you just got to fall into these categories
and live with it. Yeah, scary, what's up? I think
you should just go for the gust o.
Speaker 14 (32:35):
You want somebody with some money, somebody who could have
all these experiences with. I mean, just put it all
out there, because you don't want to be someone else's
financial provider. Better for you to share this with somebody.
I'm sorry that shallow, but okay, but.
Speaker 8 (32:49):
But see, not scary. I'm thirty nine.
Speaker 18 (32:52):
So I in my earlier twenties I had that era
where I was like, oh, I want my sugar daddy.
I did the whole app thing. I had to get
into it, and no, no, no bueno. It just wasn't
working out for me. I was like, no, they just didn't.
They were looking for their own thing. And from not
to get off not to get off topic, but just
(33:13):
from so social media and stuff. You have this identifier
of what a quote sugar daddy is and I.
Speaker 8 (33:20):
Just did not find that it's not.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
I didn't like it.
Speaker 8 (33:23):
Once they slid, I was like, this isn't what.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
That's not what you want. That's what scary things everyone wants.
It's a lot of fun.
Speaker 6 (33:30):
Look, you know this is interesting, Paul, And tonight's the
night an any other follow up before we we we
move on.
Speaker 7 (33:36):
Yeah, Paul, you said that you cook. Do you have
like one dish that you're really great at cooking?
Speaker 8 (33:43):
I left Penna Alavada like, that's like.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
Oh my god, Danielle your sugar daddy.
Speaker 5 (33:48):
I mean that's.
Speaker 12 (33:51):
Wrong plumbing.
Speaker 6 (33:57):
Well, look, so best of luck to you tonight, and
just go in there and have you know what, if
you go in there with nothing to lose and air quotes,
you know, like I've got nothing to lose. Let's get
in there and just have fun, to meet people and
if something connects, great, If nothing connects, I tried, you know,
I hope you do great tonight. Would you mind texting
us tomorrow morning and let us know how you're doing
or breathing a line?
Speaker 8 (34:19):
Yes, of course. I listen to you guys every morning,
so yeah, of course it will.
Speaker 6 (34:24):
You Just kind of funny we're getting texts here, Paul. Hey,
I'm in Fort Lauderdale. Where is this dinner? Is Paul
a taurus? I need to meet Paul?
Speaker 3 (34:35):
Look at it?
Speaker 6 (34:36):
Check it in so everyone basically is rooting for you, Paul,
and as we are too. Please get in touch with
us in the morning. We're looking forward to hearing from you. Okay,
I will all right, thank you, Paul.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
Paul going to dinner tonight? Yeah? What what I think.
Speaker 13 (34:55):
That's kind of the goal at some point he's he's
looking for a long term relation.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
Yeah, that's a nice the benefit right there getting it.
Speaker 5 (35:01):
You know.
Speaker 6 (35:02):
But you know, it's not kind of funny how we're
all coming from our own perspective of where we are
in life.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
What we're looking for.
Speaker 6 (35:08):
You're getting in scary is like you gotta got a
rich sugar Dottie, and that's but it's kind of funny
that what you both said, because it says a lot
about you.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
And where you are. I don't ask for much.
Speaker 6 (35:22):
Daniel's like, what do you want to eat?
Speaker 7 (35:25):
Cook for me?
Speaker 6 (35:26):
I mean, and God, he's asking some questions like what
what what question did you ask that you really wanted
an answer to but you didn't get one.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
Oh well, I just want to know, like what what
he's into, what he's looking for, and I kind of
want to know why he thinks he's single.
Speaker 3 (35:39):
But you know, he said he'd never been in a relationship.
Did he say.
Speaker 7 (35:43):
That he did?
Speaker 6 (35:45):
All right, Well, we are sending some great vibes to Paul,
and great vibes of anyone out there that's on the hunt,
including you, Nate.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
That is so stupid.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 7 (36:01):
I cannot believe I'm tucking guys.
Speaker 12 (36:03):
Good morning.
Speaker 9 (36:04):
I love you all.
Speaker 7 (36:06):
I love you guys. I listened to you every morning.
Speaker 4 (36:09):
Morning Mistering and the Morning Show.
Speaker 6 (36:11):
Yesterday I was all Antie. I said, come on, Alex,
let's get out of the house. Let's go do something.
What do you want to do? I mean, what is
there to do? I said, let's go do something. Let's
just go around people. I mean we're just I mean
we're gonna sit here and just watch TV and doom
scroll all day.
Speaker 3 (36:29):
Let's get out of the house. It's a nice day.
Speaker 13 (36:31):
You're doing the thing, the new thing.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
What is that?
Speaker 13 (36:34):
Your sab?
Speaker 3 (36:34):
Sab? What do you mean?
Speaker 6 (36:38):
How do you suppose sab sing s A B S
What is it? What is sabs?
Speaker 13 (36:43):
You are seeing and being seen?
Speaker 3 (36:47):
Okay, wait, what is that saying?
Speaker 15 (36:50):
Now?
Speaker 3 (36:50):
Is that what all the kids are doing? Seeing and
being seen?
Speaker 13 (36:53):
Yeah, they're sabs, Yeah, explain this to me.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
So apparently there's there's now a movement I guess if
you would call it that, to get back to normalcy
and anti apping and just getting out and you know,
sitting on the centralawn at campus, going to a coffee shop,
actually going out to see real human beings and meet
people that way.
Speaker 13 (37:14):
And I'm all meeting them on apps.
Speaker 3 (37:16):
Yeah, I'm all for it.
Speaker 6 (37:18):
Yes, put down the phone or at least take it
with you, CNBC while Doom's crowing, well, I mean, yeah,
get out of the house. I totally understand this movement,
but you're making fun of it because it's a quote
unquote movement, right.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
I think it's funny that there's a name for going outside,
so stupid sabsng and you know, it's great. But apparently
like a big part of it was that the meat
cute from like rom coms, you know, where you just
bump into someone and oh my god, we had this connection.
It doesn't happen anymore, it doesn't exist. So people really
are trying to find that, and the only way to
find your meat cute is by sabsying.
Speaker 7 (37:53):
It doesn't happen where I'm carrying my books down the
hallway and we just bump into each other and I
drop all my books and he picks them up.
Speaker 13 (37:59):
No, it doesn't happen now, he just takes a picture
and keeps it moving.
Speaker 3 (38:03):
Okay, So did anyone go sapsing yesterday?
Speaker 1 (38:05):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (38:05):
Yeah? Okay, Danielle, where'd you go?
Speaker 7 (38:08):
Said?
Speaker 3 (38:09):
Do you go?
Speaker 7 (38:09):
I was saying with lots of people.
Speaker 6 (38:11):
You were in the stadium of SAPs Yes, sabs yeah,
and Gandhi, did you go sap sing yesterday?
Speaker 13 (38:17):
I did.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
I went to the gym and then I went on
a five mile walk slash run.
Speaker 13 (38:21):
I saw and was seen all over the place.
Speaker 6 (38:24):
We went sabsing twice yesterday, Now that I think about it,
that was great. Went on to lunch, went to Cryon's
set at the bar, had some pizza with our friend
favorite bartender Pete. Then later we went down the down
the hill and had to cocktail with friends that were
at the bar, and it was great. Sab sing Yes,
But maybe I should sab seeing. I mean I should
(38:47):
be sabsing outside bars. I should go to the out
door venue.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
Yeah, I mean your chances of bagging something. I don't
know how you add that into the acronym in anyway.
But yeah, outside of bar for sure.
Speaker 11 (38:58):
Okay, yeah night. I just google it and it says
the approach what is sapsing. The approach is lingering in
visible spots instead of rushing past. Are they going to
think you're a hooker standing somewhere? Probably yeah, ice cream hooker.
So I see what you're saying.
Speaker 6 (39:16):
So rather than just getting from point A to point
B outside, so you need to like linger on the way,
maybe kind of hang out and like soak it up.
Speaker 11 (39:24):
It also says you're supposed to have approachable body language.
Speaker 3 (39:27):
I don't know what that means. What is a poachable
body lank? So this is about meeting people or just
getting out of the house, which.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
Meeting people outside of the house instead of using an
app and getting your little meat cue because you're sitting
at a coffee shopp or on the central lawn, whatever
it is that you're doing. You're available to meet in person.
Speaker 3 (39:43):
Right, Froggy's always sapsing?
Speaker 12 (39:46):
Oh yeah, But what is what is approachable body language?
Speaker 3 (39:48):
Like?
Speaker 12 (39:48):
What does that mean?
Speaker 13 (39:49):
I think no cost? Arms probably?
Speaker 3 (39:51):
Yeah, legs open, yes, very approachable. Maybe Bendover's pride.
Speaker 7 (39:57):
Tee, resting face, take your pants off? You can help that,
maybe get.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
Your face out of your phone and actually look up
and look around so that you are seeing the important thing.
Speaker 6 (40:11):
Look, you can walk into a restaurant, or walk down
a street in the park or sidewalk in the park,
and you can see immediately if that person is open
for meeting people and observing the world, or they're just
down in their phone and they're just it's like they're
not there really.
Speaker 13 (40:28):
Probably eye contact, a little bit of a smile.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
Scaries as SAPs are.
Speaker 14 (40:33):
Yeah, I was sabs in all over the East Village
yesterday and it's all about being It's about being loud,
not over the lid, but like, let's say you're with
a couple of people and you're talking with them outside
on the street and there are people walking by, it's
easier to pull people into the conversation. I found myself
getting into all kinds of conversations yesterday afternoon. I was
(40:55):
with a bunch of loud people and we looked like
we were just having a good time so well, and
we were kind of stop saying inadvertently.
Speaker 6 (41:05):
Okay, okay, however you choose to do it, whatever your
method is, get out there, let's sab.
Speaker 3 (41:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (41:17):
You gotta find something to do, get out of the house.
And I really think we definitely, without doubt, it's not
even worthy of conversation. We have buried our faces in
these stupid phones. All right, it's it's SABS Wednesday. I mean, so, Danielle,
you know you were at the Yankee game yesterday, speaking
(41:37):
of getting out and seeing people. Did you hear about
what the Mets are about to do. They're hosting They're
hosting singles nights the Mets.
Speaker 7 (41:47):
Wow, Are they trying to get people in the seats?
Speaker 2 (41:50):
No, they're trying to help people. I mean, I'm sure
that's part of it, but they want people.
Speaker 12 (41:53):
To meet the Mets are Yeah.
Speaker 13 (41:58):
Let me tell you.
Speaker 2 (41:58):
I thought Diamond was going to be all about this
because she loves the Mets and she's single.
Speaker 13 (42:03):
She said, and I quote, hell, no.
Speaker 3 (42:05):
We'll get on here, Diamond.
Speaker 6 (42:08):
Really, Diamond, you wouldn't be up for going to a
singles night at a Mets game.
Speaker 13 (42:12):
Sorr, It's not.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
It's just not for me.
Speaker 1 (42:16):
Just a whole bunch of no's. I just know, like
I can't even come up with an actual reason.
Speaker 7 (42:22):
You guys have a lot in common. You love the
same team. You know, that's a good start.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
Yeah, I don't know. It's just not something that I'm into.
Singles events. I'm like, no, thank you. My best friend
tried to trick me into going to one a few
months ago, and I have given her a crap about
it ever since.
Speaker 6 (42:42):
I don't know, it's not it, okay, Look, singles events
aren't for everyone. I get that, you know, but you
know a lot of people actually meet people through friends,
and so to do that you need to be out
with friends then doing something. I mean, it is about
getting out of the house. It's about getting out of
your circle and doing things with other people.
Speaker 1 (43:03):
I get that, But also I don't want to tie
it to something that I really like. Right, So, like,
if I go to this Mets singles event and I
meet someone who tries to destroy my life.
Speaker 13 (43:14):
I'm gonna be upset and never want to go to
a Mets game ever.
Speaker 7 (43:16):
Again, why would I ruin that?
Speaker 13 (43:18):
You've really thought a lot?
Speaker 7 (43:19):
Yeah, I overthink everything, can't you tell?
Speaker 5 (43:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (43:24):
So you know, what are you gonna do?
Speaker 5 (43:26):
Not happening?
Speaker 8 (43:27):
All right?
Speaker 3 (43:27):
So you're not into the sab singing approach.
Speaker 13 (43:31):
It's something I'd be open to but not at a.
Speaker 3 (43:34):
Like, it isn't that difficult of a thing.
Speaker 11 (43:38):
I called maloney on that because I would see Diamond
if somebody approached her, she would.
Speaker 3 (43:42):
Look at the guy and go like, get the hell
out of here. What are you doing talking about?
Speaker 1 (43:46):
No, I'd probably be thinking that, but I wouldn't say it.
Speaker 7 (43:50):
I'm just like, let's start it cool.
Speaker 6 (43:54):
You know, well, well, yeah, everyone's been out with Diamond
in social situations. Does she usually seem outward or inward
when she's out and about.
Speaker 2 (44:04):
I think when she's out and about, she's outward. She
has a good time. She has a couple of drinks.
I've seen her on bars singing into a microphone that
wasn't even on.
Speaker 13 (44:12):
So yeah, I think.
Speaker 8 (44:13):
That she's a good time.
Speaker 13 (44:15):
Why would you say that, I mean, I never saw that.
That didn't happen.
Speaker 6 (44:19):
So, oh my god, you were singing into microphones that
weren't on. This is true, Dom, It was on at first.
Speaker 13 (44:25):
They turned it off.
Speaker 3 (44:28):
Okay, well, okay, you know, at least she had a
moment there.
Speaker 8 (44:34):
It's fun.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
Look at that.
Speaker 13 (44:35):
She's a good time. Yeah, she's not. She's approachable when
she's out, she's not unapproachable.
Speaker 3 (44:40):
Cheers, So sabing c and be seen.
Speaker 6 (44:46):
Yes, it is a concept, but I love that it's
a concept that it's what all they're all doing, right,
It's it is a term for just getting out.
Speaker 13 (44:55):
I love you, I'm glad. I'm glad.
Speaker 2 (44:57):
People are getting out and people are saying, put down
the apps, put down the phones, let's go live a little.
Speaker 6 (45:01):
Yay, Okay, all right, well Diamond, we love you and
good luck in your your world of not sap sing.
Speaker 3 (45:08):
You're not going to any Mets singles yet.
Speaker 7 (45:10):
I think she just doesn't want to meet any one period,
right now.
Speaker 3 (45:13):
That's probably that's fine. I mean that's if Look, you
don't have to meet someone just because there's pressure on
in your circle, like right here, right now.
Speaker 6 (45:22):
So a singles night at Mets. Yeah, that the Mets came,
What would that babble ahead look like?
Speaker 3 (45:27):
Well, hello, I don't know, I don't know, just a thought.
Let's get into three things we need to know.
Speaker 6 (45:33):
We do have a thousand dollars free money phone tap
on the way, all right, what's going on?
Speaker 3 (45:37):
Gandhi? All right?
Speaker 2 (45:38):
Rescue teams are continuing the search for survivors, with more
than three thousand people still missing. In the aftermath of
that seven point four magnitude earthquake in western Colombia, at
least two hundred and fifty people are dead. Many residents
are also using social media to track down missing people.
The country is declaring an economic emergency, which gives President
Abalardo de Espriella.
Speaker 13 (45:58):
Some whose term again.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
For Friday, actually brand new president, the ability to more
aggressively address the disaster. The Red Cross is already on
the scene, so if you can and you want to help,
as we always say, Redcross dot org. A federal judge
is blocking the US Postal Service from enforcing a Trump
executive order that restricts voting by mail. The order, assigned
in March, gives state sixty days before the midterm elections
(46:21):
to provide a list of eligible voters, or the Postal
Service would not accept their mail in ballots. On Tuesday,
a US district judge in Boston ruled in favor of
a lawsuit brought by voting rights groups and said Trump's
order was threatening an erosion of trust in our democracy
and that there's a critical need for an injunction to
prevent defendants from changing election rules on the eve of
the election and Finally, a billion bucks is up four grabs.
(46:44):
In tonight's Powerball drawing, the jackpot hit the mark after
there was no grand prize winner and Monday Night's drawing,
the cash value of the grand prize if you win
is four hundred and thirty three point one million dollars.
Speaker 3 (46:56):
So good luck, God, I need that you do.
Speaker 13 (46:58):
Absolutely, you're out of money. This is your moment.
Speaker 6 (47:00):
I'm out of money. I need I needed to pay bills.
I've spent that much. I spent a billion dollars. I
need to pay it back.
Speaker 13 (47:05):
And those are your three things.
Speaker 6 (47:07):
I'm getting nervous, all right. An emergency call on line nineteen.
Diamond Charlie on line nineteen. He is single. He wants
to get hooked up with you.
Speaker 1 (47:16):
Oh Charlie, Charlie, Charlie, Charlie. Are you ready for this?
Speaker 3 (47:22):
Charlie?
Speaker 15 (47:24):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely, I'm ready. I'm one hundred percent in.
Speaker 19 (47:27):
Oh my god, Charlie, I'm forty five.
Speaker 7 (47:32):
Oh, Harley, I'm mature man.
Speaker 1 (47:35):
That's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 12 (47:38):
Yeah, yeah, Charlie.
Speaker 13 (47:40):
How do we find you?
Speaker 3 (47:41):
Well, we found him, now, how do we connect you to.
Speaker 10 (47:43):
Yeah, Charlie, Oh yeah, I live down on the Jersey shores.
And uh, you know, I'm I'm I'm pretty much available,
so pretty.
Speaker 3 (47:52):
Much pretty much.
Speaker 4 (47:53):
What does that mean, Charlie?
Speaker 3 (47:54):
Somewhat?
Speaker 10 (47:56):
You know, so you know, any anything can happen.
Speaker 3 (47:59):
You know, what do I you? Diamond? Are you a Jersey? Sure?
Speaker 20 (48:01):
Girl?
Speaker 1 (48:02):
You actually notoriously hate Jersey?
Speaker 3 (48:07):
Why do you hate the Garden State? What's wrong with you?
Speaker 13 (48:09):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (48:10):
It's people from Jersey. They can't drive. They're very loud.
Speaker 3 (48:13):
It's just wow, you're out of your mind.
Speaker 7 (48:18):
Okay, very loud. I hate to tell you.
Speaker 3 (48:21):
I know, Charlie, Charlie, Charlie, are you loud? And do you?
Are you a bad driver?
Speaker 15 (48:27):

Speaker 10 (48:28):
Actually I'm I'm not that loud, and I am am

trying to get Jersey drivers to be better. I mean,
this is all kind of working out, isn't it?
Speaker 17 (48:44):
Oh God?
Speaker 3 (48:45):
All right, all right, I'm into this.
Speaker 7 (48:49):
What's your favorite baseball and football team?
Speaker 12 (48:53):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (48:53):
Man, I actually don't watch baseball or football.
Speaker 3 (48:57):

Speaker 3 (49:09):
Absolutely, absolutely, All right, well we'll get to that next time.
I think.
Speaker 6 (49:13):
Well, listen, Charlie, thank you. See here's what Charlie's got
going for him. He actually was proactive. He reached out,
he's seen and we were trying to see him. And
look it's it's working. So Charlie, you're a great example
of what a lot of people need to be doing,
even if you're not in the single world looking to
hook up and just getting out there and meeting people
so you can learn new perspective, you can learn about
(49:35):
new people.
Speaker 4 (49:36):
You know.
Speaker 3 (49:36):
I like you, Charlie.
Speaker 13 (49:37):

Speaker 3 (50:01):
Wow? You know, want to waste our money on her?

Speaker 6 (58:26):
Songs that make you just take it easy. Yeah, like that,
it's so easy. I happen to love that song, but
I've loved it like five thousand freakin times. Can we
play like the like a rhythmic version of that song?
Can we mix it up a little bit?
Speaker 3 (58:41):
Hells?
Speaker 6 (58:42):
Yeah, That's what we used to do. When songs would
get a little fried, we would add a B to
the background.
Speaker 3 (58:50):
It was like whoa Okay?
Speaker 13 (58:51):
Was there like a dance version of Hello by Adele?
Speaker 15 (58:54):
Yes? There was? There was.
Speaker 3 (58:55):
There was, Oh yeah, because we got me really fried
on that.
Speaker 13 (58:58):

Speaker 2 (01:04:09):
Okay, so Monday, August tenth was National Lazy Day where
we were all supposed to just take some time and

he does he actually he stole your your accent.
Speaker 3 (01:11:39):
Let's get into the three things we need to know, Gandhi,
what's going on?
Speaker 20 (01:11:42):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:11:42):
Let's start in Colombia, where rescue teams are still continuing
the search for survivors. Over three thousand people are still
remain missing in the aftermath of that seven point four
magnitude earthquake that hit western Colombia.
Speaker 13 (01:11:54):
At least two hundred people.
Speaker 2 (01:11:56):
Fifty people are dead so far, a lot of residents
using social media to track down those missing people. The
country is declaring an economic emergency, which gives the president,
whose term began only on Friday, the ability to do
some more aggressive searching and rescuing with this disaster. The
Red Cross, we know, is already on the scene if
you can and want to help, as we always.
Speaker 13 (01:12:17):
Say Redcross dot org.
Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
Dangerous storms across the Midwest yesterday left at least three
people dead. Two of the deaths were in Indiana, where
a four year old boy was killed when a tree
fell on his home in Jennings County, and another person
was killed in a house explosion that officials believe was
storm related. Another person also died in Ohio and in
Ohio in Grafton, sixteen people were struck by lightning at
a prison and taken to local hospitals. Meanwhile, the National
(01:12:43):
Weather Service confirmed three tornadoes touched down near Chicago yesterday
as well, and they are expecting some more weather to
roll through this week. And finally, a new study shows
that belly fat actually predicts a person's heart disease risk
more accurately than BMI. Researchers at Johns Hopkins University of
Medicine or School of Medicine I'm Sorry, looked at two
(01:13:04):
hundred and sixty thousand adults over twenty years and found
that waste and waste to hip ratio was a much
better indicator to forecast both heart and brain events. They
say that's because body mass index can't tell whether a
person has more fat sitting right below the skin or
visceral fat, and that's a dangerous kind that surrounds internal
organs inside the abdomen. Their message is that we all
(01:13:25):
need to reduce our obsession with BMI and body weight
and focus on your core. The findings are published in
the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. And those
are your three things, all right?
Speaker 6 (01:13:36):
Hold on, So my heart and my lungs are way
above my belly fat. So there I feel fine.
Speaker 13 (01:13:42):
Oh, okay. I mean, hey, whatever works for you, if
that's your own research. I know people love to do that.
That's cool.
Speaker 3 (01:13:48):
Watch for lunch, you know what I'm saying. All right.
Speaker 6 (01:13:55):
By the way, a lot of response of the text
messages from that last game we played doing they're all great, no, no, no.
You know, we were looking for the answer man in
the mirror, and I didn't hear her say it. I
don't either, but she said she said it, so we
went with it, and then we.
Speaker 13 (01:14:15):
All just buckled, just buckled. You said it. Oh, okay,
I believe you.
Speaker 3 (01:14:21):
Please. I thought I thought it was kind of funny.
Speaker 11 (01:14:24):
It's a dangerous precedent. We just said, no, it's not.
Anytime you do a game now, somebody's gonna say I
said that, okay, but we don't have to agree with him.
I just thought I was going with the moment, and
I thought it was kind of funny. Okay, it's your
agrievance with me, because I was the one that made
the determination. Go right ahead, Yes, go ahead.
Speaker 13 (01:14:40):
I'm launching an official a grievance with whom do I
launch it?
Speaker 3 (01:14:43):
I can take it, because you know what, I don't care.
Speaker 6 (01:14:45):
I don't excuse me, go ahead and hate all you
want whatever. She won five hundred dollars, fair and square.
According to me, it was a good contest. But I
love that the uproar people texting in the meanest things.
You see these things, Oh yeah, because they heard what
(01:15:06):
we heard nothing.
Speaker 2 (01:15:08):
I really try to pay attention because I know sometimes
they do mumble or the song is still playing when
they say something.
Speaker 13 (01:15:12):
So I felt like I was listening and I didn't
hear anything but to be wrong.
Speaker 7 (01:15:18):
But she kind of admitted it though, Like five minutes later,
she said, Well, if I can't win, I'm going to
guess like you.
Speaker 6 (01:15:24):
She basically said, or listen to this, listen to this text.
I request a replay to see if she actually said it.
We all want to hear it. You will not send
her the money.
Speaker 3 (01:15:33):
Okay, thank you, thank you for your text, but we're
sending her the money.
Speaker 13 (01:15:39):
Yeah, so you got my text, and yes I did.
Speaker 3 (01:15:42):
So everyone's going to just get the hell over it.
We're moving on.
Speaker 7 (01:15:48):
Next time, we won't be so stupid.
Speaker 3 (01:15:52):
No, we're not stupid. No one's stupid here, el was
his decision is final. Next time, my decision is final.
Next time, he might not give him the money. That happens.
Speaker 6 (01:16:01):
Next time, they may have a clean sweep of saying
all correct answers, and I'll say, eh, that's not correct.
We're just going on vibes now, I know, but you
know what, the rules are different in our little world
to we think.
Speaker 13 (01:16:16):
Z your consistency.
Speaker 3 (01:16:17):
I love that for us, all right, thank you, thank
you for noticing.
Speaker 7 (01:16:21):
We're not normal.
Speaker 6 (01:16:23):
Elster in the Morning Show, join the Tunnel to Towers
Foundation on its mission to do good in honor of
America's heroes. Donate eleven dollars a month and amplify your
impact with a car or Land donation. Go to T
two T dot org. That's T the number two T
dot org. Danielle, I thought you knew everything there was
(01:16:47):
to know about baseball, and no, so you went to
the you went to the Yankees game, and you you
learn something about it.
Speaker 3 (01:16:54):
What what'd you learn about baseball that you never knew before?
Speaker 7 (01:16:56):
No, it was crazy. So one of the Yankee players
was up to bat, and then all of a sudden
the inning was over right, And then the next time
the Yankees were up to bat, that same player was
up to bat, and I go, I don't I don't
understand how does that happen? And my son explained to
me that if the base runner is thrown out or
(01:17:18):
picked off to recur record the third out of an inning,
the batter at the plate does not receive an official
plate appearance or at bat for that action. Therefore, the
next time they're up, he can bat he bats and
he's up. I was like, I don't one's inning was done.
Whoever was up there was done.
Speaker 3 (01:17:36):
But that's not how it works.
Speaker 5 (01:17:37):
I did.
Speaker 7 (01:17:38):
Oh, I learned something yesterday.
Speaker 6 (01:17:40):
The way you described it, the wording sailed as if
you were reading it from a law journal.
Speaker 10 (01:17:44):
I was.
Speaker 7 (01:17:46):
I didn't want to I didn't want to explain it wrong,
so I looked it up to make sure I.
Speaker 3 (01:17:49):
Explained it right. You were reading from a law journal.
Speaker 7 (01:17:53):
I get it, though, Yeah, but I had no idea.
I honestly thought that once you're up and the inning's over,
you're time is over. I didn't realize that if it wasn't,
you weren't the cause of the out or whatever you
get you know, I didn't know. I was like, WHOA,
I was how old when I learned this today?
Speaker 5 (01:18:10):
Years old?
Speaker 4 (01:18:11):
Years old?
Speaker 7 (01:18:12):
So yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:18:12):
Interesting?
Speaker 3 (01:18:13):
You love baseball so much.
Speaker 7 (01:18:15):
I do love baseball. I just like the atmosphere and
being there and just feel it's just I don't know,
and it brings my family together.
Speaker 13 (01:18:21):
I love it.
Speaker 20 (01:18:22):
You know.
Speaker 7 (01:18:22):
It reminds me of my dad save as a Yankee fan,
growing up and growing up in the Bronx. It just
it's has a lot of meaning to me. So it's nice.
Speaker 3 (01:18:30):
I wasn't at this time.
Speaker 6 (01:18:31):
Yesterday we were talking about the Nude Steakhouse in Hollywood, Florida.
Speaker 7 (01:18:36):
Yeah, I think so.
Speaker 13 (01:18:38):
Class Okay, Steakhouse.
Speaker 3 (01:18:40):
Have we given away this stuff yet? It's coming up
on Why one hundred Yeah, but so it's coming up.
We haven't given it away yet. Correct.
Speaker 6 (01:18:46):
No, okay, So if you're listening to Why one hundred
point seven in Miami, you're about to have an opportunity
to win a dinner for two at the Nude Steak Night.
Speaker 12 (01:18:59):
It happens. It happens every Monday, once a month on Monday.
So I mean, there's plenty of time for you to
go other times if you don't want to take your
clothes off, but if you win this thing, you need
to go and participate.
Speaker 6 (01:19:10):
Yes, don't be a street Yeah, So this is exclusively
for people listening to Why one hundred point seven that's
coming up in a few minutes for you. So yeah,
and the rule is if you win, you got to
call us the next day and let us know what
you saw, what's your experience.
Speaker 3 (01:19:23):
And even though Froggy says it's a it's limited, is
only like four times a month right on Mondays?
Speaker 12 (01:19:28):
Yeah, twenty people each night.
Speaker 6 (01:19:30):
Yes, so I'm sure if they get a great response,
they'll do it every night. It'll be an all nude steakhouse.
Speaker 3 (01:19:36):
Yes, well, they said it.
Speaker 12 (01:19:37):
They they said it started because there was a company
that came in and purchased the restaurant for an evening
and they did a nude night and it was a
closed night, and the guy said it was such a
success that he opened it up to the public and
started doing it once once a month.
Speaker 3 (01:19:52):
There's got to be a lot of people that love
to eat meat well naked.
Speaker 11 (01:19:55):
Yeah, Nate, Well, we're gonna curious as to what kind
of lighting is at this table. Is a lot a
soft lighting. Candle light may handle it because it's a
lot of bright fluorescent bulbs. I'm not going to be hungry,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 6 (01:20:08):
Okay, well we'll find out, well, you'll have one. We'll
figure it out. Once we they'll they'll go to the
event and then they'll get back to us.
Speaker 3 (01:20:19):
I'm so excited here we go.
Speaker 6 (01:20:27):
I was reading yesterday and I thought this is only
something you would see on those candid camera type shows.
There's a police department in what town is this?
Speaker 13 (01:20:37):
It's Jersey. Let me look up the exact that far from.
Speaker 3 (01:20:40):
Us, Garrett, which town is it. It's next to your town?
Speaker 6 (01:20:42):
Yeah, over by watch hung okay where the cops in
the community actually dress up as shrubbery and lay in
wait until they see an infraction occur and they run
up as a bush and they directed you.
Speaker 3 (01:21:00):
It's a cartoonish do you have You have the story
in front of your gandhi.
Speaker 2 (01:21:04):
Yeah, it's actually it's in dun Ellen, which is in
Middlesex County. So they're looking for distracted drivers and they
don't want you to see them, so they're dressed as shrubbery.
They hide, they wait until they see people on their phone,
and then they pop up and they get you dressed
as shrubs.
Speaker 13 (01:21:18):
It's wild looking, brilliant.
Speaker 3 (01:21:21):
Video. Yeah you think that?
Speaker 7 (01:21:24):
Yeah, seriously.
Speaker 13 (01:21:25):
They issued seventy four citations within six hours.
Speaker 6 (01:21:29):
WHOA Well, yeah, you know, if you don't see a
cop center in there, it's just a bush. You just
try buy on the phone.
Speaker 21 (01:21:34):
So the one, the one part is the guy dressed
as a bush will see you, and then he'll radio
to the guy down the road, and then you'll get
stopped by a cop not knowing like why am I
getting stopped? And they'll be like, well, we caught you.
Speaker 3 (01:21:46):
Oh no no no no no no no no no no.
I need the bush to chase me down.
Speaker 13 (01:21:49):
The bushes stand up and point at things, so.
Speaker 6 (01:21:54):
The bush is physically active in catch the perpetrator. I
love to see this. The good news is you can
see it. It's on video. So you search for bush cop.
Speaker 3 (01:22:04):
You know whatever you liked thing, I give you a line. Okay,
let me stop everything. What's that name?
Speaker 12 (01:22:13):
Give you a great line?
Speaker 3 (01:22:14):
Use that line? Okay, what's the line? You go ahead
and give it to them. It's the long limb of
the law.
Speaker 13 (01:22:19):
Hi, you stopped everything for that A great line.
Speaker 3 (01:22:24):
It was a great line.
Speaker 6 (01:22:26):
I thought it was a good line, but you definitely
delivered it much better than I could.
Speaker 3 (01:22:32):
Brands of the Police Department is.
Speaker 4 (01:22:36):
There.
Speaker 13 (01:22:37):
I go a ruin full of dads.
Speaker 3 (01:22:44):
Here we go.
Speaker 6 (01:22:46):
It's the Nate and Scary Show. You know, I always
love I always love these moments on our show.
Speaker 3 (01:22:51):
Moving on around the.
Speaker 6 (01:22:52):
Room, let's find out what's on the minds of the
imbeciles in the room. We'll start with Nate imbecile number one,
guy scar Can.
Speaker 3 (01:23:00):
We got to get into this. You need three email addresses.
Are you ready? Here are the three different email addresses.
Speaker 11 (01:23:08):
You need a personal one for anybody that wants to
just email you that you want to reply to, one
for business so that it looks professional, and number three
for anything you purchase or sign up for. I don't
want any of those Lululemon things in my personal email.
I don't want good ideas. Seriously, think about it. If
you have a kid that's like two and you need
to start them on email addresses, get them three that
(01:23:31):
they will have for the rest of their life, and
don't one for personal, one for business, and one for
the ads and the bids and purchasing marketing.
Speaker 3 (01:23:38):
Yeah, how many every day do you have to delete
and try to unsubscribe?
Speaker 7 (01:23:46):
I don't even try anymore. I just don't like forget it.
It's not worth it.
Speaker 3 (01:23:50):
Hey for aug you know what's up with you today?
Speaker 12 (01:23:51):
So you know, my son has been in Scotland for
two and a half weeks. He comes home Friday night.
Yesterday he said to me when he went over there,
he was like, Hey, do you think we could pay
for the international phone plan. I'm like, no, it's expensive.
We don't need your phone, just like you'll be able
to have Wi Fi where you're staying when you need
it to call us. He was upset about it. Yesterday
he said to me, this has been the most freeing
(01:24:11):
thing ever.
Speaker 3 (01:24:12):
I love it.
Speaker 12 (01:24:13):
I go out, I leave my place and the whole
time i'm out it's just me and nature. I'm enjoying myself.
I'm more present. I've really taken everything in, he said.
It has been life changing not having my phone and
notifications every four seconds.
Speaker 3 (01:24:27):
And I love it.
Speaker 12 (01:24:28):
When i get back to the house, I see what
I missed and I'm.
Speaker 3 (01:24:30):
Done so good. It really is a good thing. Detaching
is pretty awesome. And to hear Twin gets when you
gets home. I hope he sticks with it. You know, yeah,
me too.
Speaker 6 (01:24:39):
To actually, and a great way to communicate with everyone
overseas is what's happened.
Speaker 3 (01:24:43):
What's happened? That's the best. Well, I hope he had
a great time. That's so cool he got to do that.
I'm excited for see a month's Friday, Danielle, what's up
with you?
Speaker 21 (01:24:53):
So?
Speaker 7 (01:24:53):
I would like to apologize to anyone I made throw
up the last couple of days because I know we
talked about it obsession and a scene in there that
made me vomit, and I know I got a lot
of people in my DM saying, well, I had to
go and watch the movie and I'm throwing up as well,
and I'm and there's so many I can he has
stuffed counting. So I apologize for making anyone heave and
(01:25:15):
throw up the last couple of days because of the
movie obsession and my problem with throwing up and dry heaving.
Speaker 3 (01:25:21):
A lot of people were vomiting because of you.
Speaker 7 (01:25:23):
Yeah so yeah, so I loved it. Thank you for doing.
You bring me so much. You know, my throat hurt
that entire day because you guys made me gag and
throw up so much.
Speaker 2 (01:25:34):
Oh we never posted video of it either, did we have?
So much I'm gonna send it to your approval.
Speaker 3 (01:25:39):
She can't wait yeah, yeah, she throws up all over Nate.
It was great.
Speaker 6 (01:25:45):
By the way, it is Wednesday, and I know, but
he the splatter goes beyond the garbage can onto his let.
It is Wednesday, which means Gandhi has another sauce on
the side.
Speaker 2 (01:25:54):
Oh hello, I do yes, wherever you find your podcast.
Today Diamond and I discuss a lot of stuff. We
talk about Ray and Michael Jordan, We talk about Diamond's lovelife,
all kinds of great stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:26:03):
So beautiful, thank.
Speaker 2 (01:26:04):
You sauce on the side. But something really exciting is
happening tonight. If you like space like I do, the
universe is putting on a show. There's a new moon,
which means it's great lighting to see the percied meteor
shower that is fifty to one hundred meteors that you're
going to be able to see per hour starting around midnight.
But also as the morning approaches, you're going to have
(01:26:25):
a planet parade, which is six planets lined up across
the sky and it's supposed to be incredible. So go
outside if you can and see it, because this stuff
is amazing.
Speaker 3 (01:26:35):
So what time don't need to be outside to see
the planet parade.
Speaker 2 (01:26:38):
The planet parade is as the dawn approaches, so we'll
all be awake for it. We can go out and
see it. Probably not here in New York City. That's
maybe the only thing about living here that's really toughest.
We never get to see stars and that cool stuff.
But maybe out by you, Danielle, you might be able to. Maybe,
but the meteor shower should be pretty visible starting around midnight.
Speaker 3 (01:26:55):
Okay, excellent scary what's on your mind today? Saying if
you see something, say something.
Speaker 14 (01:27:01):
Well, I saw something and I didn't say anything, and
I'm sorry I didn't. I was in an uber and
the driver was wearing headphones, like big ass headphones, listening
to his own music as he was driving me. And
I'm sitting there and I'm like, I don't know what
I should do here. I don't know because I didn't
want him to give me one star. And I was
(01:27:22):
more concerned about that than you know, if I was,
Oh my god, it's the writing, you know what. I
don't want to die with a d I just don't know.
I just don't know, and and and I should have
said something, and I'm such an idiot. And now I
don't know if I can go back, I mean I
can go back and you know now and check it
out and like, yeah, don't you give at the end
of it, I.
Speaker 3 (01:27:40):
Remember who he was? Did I didn't know? No, I
did not.
Speaker 14 (01:27:44):
I didn't give any I didn't rate him at all.
But anyway, it's just so dangerous. I can't believe people
will drive their cars and just have these just giant
headphones on their head.
Speaker 3 (01:27:53):
Well, I can't believe you would write in a car
and they're they're there to keep you saying. Should I
said something to him on the spot? Should I said? Hey,
by the way, wait, do you mind turning those off?
I mean I want a short dish? It's illegal. I
don't think you're allowed to.
Speaker 13 (01:28:06):
Yeah, you should have driven them by those cops dressed
as shrubs.
Speaker 6 (01:28:10):
I know, winned more shrub cops. This is it we
need and pleasure. That's more greenery to our cities. You
go back and give him a bad rating. All right,
let's get into We got everyone in and I think
yes we did. I'll let's get into sound with Garrett.
He's got lots of stuff today.
Speaker 3 (01:28:23):
What do you got going on?
Speaker 21 (01:28:24):
All right, let's start with Jimmy Kimmel last night. Anthony
Anderson is filling in this week for Kimmel, and he
was talking to Magic Johnson. So Magic Johnson talked about
his first ever shoe deal where Nike wasn't as big
as as we know them now, so he turned down
Nike back in the day. And listen to what he
turned down.
Speaker 3 (01:28:41):
Converse offered me the most money. Adidas came in second,
and fil said, Hey, I can't give you the same
amount of money as Converse because we just started our company. Yeah,
but I can give you something cost stop.
Speaker 5 (01:28:56):
How much would that stock be worth today?
Speaker 3 (01:28:58):
IRV almost two billion dollars? Ooops, two billion dollars in
Nike stock.
Speaker 21 (01:29:08):
Well he's not doing all that awful, but still all right,
all right, So Scary came across this Instagram account. His
guy's name is David. It's spelled weird with the number
eighty seven in the middle. But he was talking about
single guys needing to go see Olivia Dean this weekend
in New York City and here's why.
Speaker 3 (01:29:28):
Oh and this is a player's advice, right yeah, okay,
And gentlemen, understand the environment you're entering. Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:29:35):
These women listen to music about yearning. Okay, they believe
in romance.
Speaker 19 (01:29:39):
They have probably spent the last three years saying dating
in New York is actually impossible.
Speaker 5 (01:29:45):
So you're walking into favorable market conditions.
Speaker 3 (01:29:48):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:29:48):
I'm not saying by a ticket exclusively to meet women.
Speaker 19 (01:29:51):
I'm saying, if you already like Olivia Dean, which you should,
and you're a single man in New York, I generally
don't understand what additional information you're waiting for you yet
thousand a single women, one location, shared interest, no dating
app required.
Speaker 5 (01:30:04):
This isn't a concert anymore. Okay, it's a career fair
for boyfriends.
Speaker 3 (01:30:10):
Okay, okay, so there you go.
Speaker 13 (01:30:12):
It's not the worst advice.
Speaker 1 (01:30:13):
Now.
Speaker 13 (01:30:14):
Also a little creepy.
Speaker 6 (01:30:15):
This is sound a little creepy. Yeah yeah, it's a
good looking guy, but sounds something scary would say. You
know you've got you. We'll look at all the hunting
you can go take part it. Oh my god, they're
gonna show up all the hundreds just for you.
Speaker 3 (01:30:31):
Nature go this weekend. Then I thought about it. All right, God, I.
Speaker 13 (01:30:34):
Love podcast where men talk about what women want. Those
are my favorite.
Speaker 21 (01:30:37):
All right, let's move on to some talkbacks we received
on the iHeartRadio app. So earlier in the show, we
were talking about Diamond wanting not wanting to go to
the met game because they were doing a singles night.
So our listener from Q and O two wants to
throw himself out there for Diamond.
Speaker 20 (01:30:52):
How you doing, Diamond. My name is Mike Force from
chero Hill, New Jersey. Like I mentioned, single, looking for
a nice lady, take out for coffee or a nice dinner,
or go to the beach.
Speaker 12 (01:31:04):
I'm sorry, but I'm a Phillies and Eagles fan.
Speaker 3 (01:31:07):
Hopefully we can go out on a date Diamond, Right, Diamond,
what say you?
Speaker 1 (01:31:11):
I would never date a Phillies or an Eagles fan.
Speaker 3 (01:31:17):
I'm sorry, No, you can, I know, but you can.
You can be in a household with opposite teams, you
know what I'm saying. Not the Phillies rather, thank you.
Oh my god. All right, so we move over to
this clip. We all know Danielle for this, of course, right.
Speaker 7 (01:31:39):
Is so stupid?
Speaker 3 (01:31:41):
All right? So we got another talk back from our listener, Lilian,
and she has this to say.
Speaker 7 (01:31:47):
Oh my god, you guys are their goal.
Speaker 4 (01:31:51):
Listen to my love. It sounds like Danielle's.
Speaker 3 (01:31:58):
Love you guys, thank you Lily and she does close
she does.
Speaker 21 (01:32:05):
And then finally I just want to say a big
shout out to the Westfield and Cranford Fire Department EMS
and Police Department. So last night around eleven thirty, my
wife woke me up and said, hey, I need some
help outside. The house across the street is burning. And
the family got out safe. But watching what everybody did,
(01:32:26):
coming together, all three departments from two different towns working
together and saving the house and making sure everyone's safe
and going into fire was just just seeing how they
can work and you only see it on TV and
movies and getting to see it in real life, it's
it's something incredible and kudos to them and anybody that
works in that line of work.
Speaker 3 (01:32:46):
Thank you for keeping us safe and the bottom line
and you got to see him in actually, So if
the family's good, you said, and is that the house
was saved? Yeah, house is saved.
Speaker 21 (01:32:54):
I'm sure they got to, you know, open some windows
today when when they get back in the house. But
it was it was something to see, especially in the
middle of the night too.
Speaker 15 (01:33:01):
So wow.
Speaker 3 (01:33:03):
Is which today's date? Twelfth? August twelfth?
Speaker 6 (01:33:07):
Isn't today the day that the Earth will lose gravity
for seven seconds.
Speaker 3 (01:33:12):
What you seen this memes?
Speaker 6 (01:33:14):
And so a texture just reminded me of this. It's
been It's been out there in the memes for months now.
Speaker 3 (01:33:21):
Okay.
Speaker 6 (01:33:21):
The rumor is that Earth will lose gravity today, August twelfth,
for seven seconds. They're saying it's a viral internet hoax.
NASA confirms that Earth's gravity cannot switch off like that.
Gravity is tied to the planet's mass, which doesn't change overnight.
So let's gill events like solar eclipses have no impact
on it. The claim is social media post claim Earth
would lose gravity for seven seconds due to a supposed
(01:33:44):
gravitational anomaly.
Speaker 3 (01:33:46):
You guys haven't seen these memes.
Speaker 13 (01:33:48):
I've seen that one. I've seen the are we supposed
to also have like a blackout for eight minutes? Sometimes?
Speaker 3 (01:33:55):
Is that today?
Speaker 2 (01:33:56):
I think it might be today. Look and the Earth
ends today too. Today's another yeah to the list.
Speaker 6 (01:34:03):
So they're saying, no, it cannot be paused as far
as gravity goes and turned off unless the planet loses
its physical mass. There's no threat life will continue completely
normally or will it.
Speaker 13 (01:34:16):
We'll find out.
Speaker 6 (01:34:17):
So today's day, keep an eye on that if you
start floating around, you'll know that, Oh my god, they.
Speaker 4 (01:34:20):
Were right bizarre, creepy and unsettling.
Speaker 3 (01:34:24):
That's just so disturbing, like he used his mouth as
a weapon.
Speaker 4 (01:34:27):
The Mother nos Death Podcast. Open your free iHeartRadio app
search Mother Nose Death and listen today Elvis Duran in
the Morning Show. This is a grazy I love radio
Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (01:34:44):
I'm sorry, I'm totally thrown off with what just happened.
Speaker 13 (01:34:45):
Here because it's a room of pigs fun I have.
Speaker 6 (01:34:49):
I have these great Beats headphones on. I can hear
every every sound that you put into your microphone, and
Nate and.
Speaker 3 (01:34:59):
Who else who.
Speaker 6 (01:35:02):
You guys are burping in like these five hundred dollars
microphones into my three hundred dollars headphones, so everything is
crystal clear. I can hear every little bubble, I can
hear every little gurgle. I hear everything. Okay, don't do it, Nate.
Speaker 3 (01:35:16):
Okay, I won't do it now.
Speaker 2 (01:35:18):
I'm concerned about them though, because Nate just has this
like the burps that he lets out, they're not normal burps.
Speaker 13 (01:35:24):
They seem like there are things in them.
Speaker 3 (01:35:26):
Yeah, but he says, I can hear the things.
Speaker 2 (01:35:28):
Yeah, he's never eating anything that should cause the gas,
so I'm worried about him.
Speaker 3 (01:35:32):
Oh no, it's acid. It's acid that remains in your stomach. Absolutely.
If they're around the clock.
Speaker 11 (01:35:36):
Yeah, it's churning and bubbling down there. But sometimes they
just come out and you're not supposed to keep them in,
right frog. But you no, no, no, no, but you guys, no, no, no, no,
you're putting your lips up to the microphone and doing it.
Speaker 13 (01:35:47):
Yeah, Nates perform.
Speaker 3 (01:35:49):
You don't even move your head away from the microphone.
Speaker 13 (01:35:52):
You lean into it.
Speaker 12 (01:35:53):
Oh sorry, you could get you.
Speaker 8 (01:35:56):
I'm sorry, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:35:58):
I feel like it's slightly entertaining.
Speaker 15 (01:36:00):
No, no, wh.
Speaker 12 (01:36:02):
Lisa does this. She's like, I don't know why you
have to make such a production lift your leg when
you fart? You have to make it a scene. I'm like,
you know, it's the same outcome either way, Like I
don't make a face or lift my leg, it's the
same outcome. Who cares? Why are you mad?
Speaker 1 (01:36:17):
Me?
Speaker 21 (01:36:17):
I care?
Speaker 13 (01:36:19):
I'm just discussing to cut it.
Speaker 7 (01:36:20):
In the time that you have to lift your leg,
you could walk out the damn room.
Speaker 6 (01:36:24):
And well, no, Danielle, he'll lift his leg and he'll
put his fist in there and pull it down like
he's pulling second kind of lever.
Speaker 12 (01:36:33):
It takes timing, so I will say that, yes, got
you go ahead.
Speaker 13 (01:36:38):
Well, no, I get it.
Speaker 2 (01:36:39):
Like Nate doesn't care about anybody in this room, right,
he doesn't. He's not trying to have sex with anyone, so.
Speaker 13 (01:36:43):
He just is gross.
Speaker 2 (01:36:45):
But Froggie, you do care about Lisa in that way.
You want this woman to still want to have sex
with you, and you're walking around lifting your leg and farting.
Speaker 3 (01:36:52):
I gave up on that. Okay, does it make sense?
Speaker 7 (01:36:55):
Does it make sense now why he doesn't get it?
It makes sense?
Speaker 3 (01:37:00):
Okay, make it starting to make sense? How it doesn't
make sense? You guys are disgusting. They they really are scary.
They are revolting. And what's worse, My burps are scary
chewing your Oh no, they're they're they're they're bad, but
your your burps. See when he choos, he's oblivious because
he's you know, he's oblivious. I'm crazy.
Speaker 12 (01:37:24):
When Scary is eating, you don't need glasses.
Speaker 6 (01:37:25):
With Scary doesn't know when he's chewing with his mouth open.
You know exactly what you're doing when you put your
mouth to the microphone and you belch out that nasty volcano.
Speaker 3 (01:37:35):
Well, that was the last one. Was the last one.
You're not getting another one. I don't want to listen
to your gird heerber gird.
Speaker 6 (01:37:47):
Okay, Look, I'm not without fault. If you had Alex
on the phone right now, he would tell you something
I did yesterday. It was that was pretty bad.
Speaker 3 (01:37:54):
Right now, you want me to call let's get him on.
You can try to call him if you want. I
don't know if he's an answer.
Speaker 13 (01:37:59):
Was it the same thing you texting me about when
you were on the plane.
Speaker 3 (01:38:02):
Yes, oh god, but we were in a car.
Speaker 4 (01:38:07):
Oh god.
Speaker 6 (01:38:09):
All right, he's calling out. They're very busy there at
the zoo. Did you know they're having coffee. I think
it's coffee break time.
Speaker 3 (01:38:17):
These are things couples do.
Speaker 14 (01:38:18):
In front of each other because they're relaxed and they're
okay with it.
Speaker 13 (01:38:22):
I do not do it.
Speaker 3 (01:38:24):
Luckily he's not on the line. Okay, sir, I think
we're good. Damn what you do?
Speaker 12 (01:38:29):
You can't tell us I may.
Speaker 3 (01:38:31):
Have passed gas?
Speaker 16 (01:38:34):
What do you mean?
Speaker 3 (01:38:34):
May have pretty good chance it happened.
Speaker 13 (01:38:39):
Did you roll the windows down first or did you
drop him in the car?

But anyway, happy birthday, Nancy. All right, will be done.
Isn't the show over? The show's over? Can we just
play an album or something a whole album?
Speaker 13 (01:41:15):
If you had to play one album, which one would
it be?
Speaker 6 (01:41:18):
I would play something old from Queen you know, something
because they had those long songs. Okay, like Bohemian Rhapsody
and stuff like that. What would you play a whole album?
Speaker 13 (01:41:30):
Maybe, Amy Winehouse back to Black. I love that album.
Speaker 7 (01:41:33):
Let's play that one.
Speaker 15 (01:41:35):
La.
Speaker 3 (01:41:39):
Do we need something exciting?
Speaker 1 (01:41:41):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (01:41:42):

Speaker 7 (01:41:44):
Oh, yes, that's good to play that too.
Speaker 13 (01:41:46):

nine minute nine minute young Blood song?
Speaker 4 (01:41:55):

Speaker 3 (01:41:56):

Speaker 7 (01:41:59):

Or do we do it next?
Speaker 19 (01:42:04):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:42:04):
No, maybe next.
Speaker 6 (01:42:07):
It's going to be a controversial a lot of the
stations that have a soumer God, why'd you play that
nine minute young Blood song?
Speaker 3 (01:42:11):
Because it's a piece of art. It's a work of art.
I love it. Well, hold on, let's se if we
can get it in next.
Speaker 4 (01:42:19):

Two four two zero one hundred. This is Elvis Duran
in the Morning show.
Speaker 3 (01:42:58):
Okay, so it was about this time.
Speaker 6 (01:43:00):
A little bit earlier yesterday we were talking about this
steakhouse in Hollywood, Florida called Class Soire Steakhouse. M Yeah,
I'm looking at photos of the dining room. It looks
very nice. So what they're doing are these cloth seats?
Hold on, well, what you're doing.
Speaker 13 (01:43:18):
What you're gonna get at the nude one is a
sanitized leather seat.
Speaker 3 (01:43:22):
Okay. So the reason why you're wondering, well, why would
I need that? Well, I'll tell you why.
Speaker 6 (01:43:27):
Four Mondays a week or a month, four nights a
month month on Mondays rather they have nude steak night.
Speaker 3 (01:43:34):
Will you come in.
Speaker 6 (01:43:36):
It's supposed to be a nice little setting and you
have a towel on or a robe. Then you sit
down at the table to enjoy your nice steak dinner.
And then you take the robe off and enjoy it
the nude. So we said, yesterday, our friend Tommy Chuck said, hey,
here's some here's some tickets. They're hard to get tickets,
by the way, so we got them. Tommy Chuck came
(01:43:58):
to the rescue and so we did a contest at
Y one point seven in Miami and caller ten was Kim,
Get Kim on the line. Here she's on nineteen. Hello Kim, Hello, Kim,
are you there?
Speaker 8 (01:44:15):
Kim?
Speaker 11 (01:44:15):
Is that?
Speaker 3 (01:44:16):
Can you hear me?
Speaker 16 (01:44:17):
I'm so excited to be talking to you.
Speaker 21 (01:44:19):
There.
Speaker 6 (01:44:20):
You are, Kim in beautiful Plantation, Florida. You're you're going
to this event, and can you talk about it?
Speaker 3 (01:44:27):
What you're feeling right now?
Speaker 16 (01:44:31):
Well, you answered one question. I was wondering what kind
of seat I was going to be sitting on or
could I bring my own little lactile? Shall we say, yeah,
on other people's nakedness?
Speaker 3 (01:44:43):
Exactly. No, that's a good good thing to think about.
So I'll tell you what. So what they're doing is
it's set up in like a long form table and
they have, as Gandhi described it, special seats just for
you and you you walk in with your robe on,
and then everyone seated at the table, get ready for
(01:45:04):
some steak, and you take your robe off.
Speaker 5 (01:45:07):
Okay, that was my.
Speaker 16 (01:45:08):
Other biggest con concern was everybody standing around getting naked
next to each other. Yeah, I think that sounds reasonable.
Speaker 3 (01:45:15):
Now, do you partake in nude beaches and nudity anywhere
else in public?
Speaker 16 (01:45:22):
I've been to Fantasy Fast a few times.
Speaker 3 (01:45:31):
That's held every year.
Speaker 16 (01:45:34):
That's for my birthday. They do it every October for
my birthday. It's in Key West, and it's a huge
show where most people walk around, not me, but most
people walk around painted naked.
Speaker 15 (01:45:47):
And just have a great time.
Speaker 3 (01:45:49):
So you're into the nudity and all that, that's cool.
Speaker 16 (01:45:53):
Yeah, I love being with my friends I met down there,
and then the bris lesque shows and it's just a
lot of fun. Sorry, I'm not not anticipating this being awful.
Speaker 3 (01:46:03):
Well perfect, Kim's the perfect winner. You're the perfect winner
for this all this night out last sare steakhouse.
Speaker 9 (01:46:12):
Now.
Speaker 16 (01:46:12):
They say when you put a robe on and walked
out together, that took exactly.
Speaker 3 (01:46:17):
They say that you don't have to disrobe. This is
what they say. But I'm hoping you go for it.
Speaker 16 (01:46:22):
Yeah, so really pretty panties?
Speaker 6 (01:46:28):
Oh, Pretty Panties. I'm hoping she'll be there too. That's
her name, right, Pretty Panties. Anyway, well, we want you
to call us the next morning and check back with us.
We'll stay with you on this.
Speaker 3 (01:46:38):
Okay. Is that good? Kim? And congratulations? Okay, thank you.
Speaker 16 (01:46:42):
I'm excited about the steak.
Speaker 3 (01:46:43):
Oh wow, I know a good steak dinner. It's you
got that?
Speaker 6 (01:46:48):
That's all yours? All right, thank you, Kim. We'll check
back with you after your evening. Okay, thank you very much.
There you're Kim. Everyone wait to hear all right. This
song by young Blood is called Hello Heaven Hello. It's
long form song.
Speaker 5 (01:47:01):
You know.
Speaker 6 (01:47:01):
Young Blood comes from a rock background. He grew up
listening to rock in his house. But also he came
from a stage production background. He loves musicals. He used
to go to the West End all the time, and
so this is his own kind of rock opera. It's
nine minutes long.
Speaker 3 (01:47:20):
Can you deal with it?
Speaker 4 (01:47:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:47:22):
Listen to this song from young Blood. This is Hello
Heaven Hello. You made us laugh, you made us smile.
Speaker 4 (01:47:38):
This is Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
