Hey, guys, welcome to Hot Takes and Hangouts. I am
here with Jacob Anderson. How are you, my man? I'm good.
I'm very good. I am good too, because we just
had an amazing conversation. So if you all haven't heard
the full interview, that's the episode before this, so go listen.
It is absolutely incredible. Jacob shares some interesting things he
has never said before. So no spoilers here, but you

gotta listen. And now we're gonna do a very fun
hot Takes round. Nice okay, yep. So to kick it off,
this might be a hard one. Top four movies or
most rewatched movies?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Okay, well, there are two movies that I watch three.
There were three that I watch every year. So I
watch The Apartment every year on my birthday. I watch
Love and Basketball every year like Christmas time. It kind
of gets me to the spirit. It's not Christmas film.
I don't know why, but it's just a film that
I love. It's like a safe like thing. And Jurassic Park.

(01:00):
I don't have like a specific time to watch it.
There's never a bad time to watch Draassic Park.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
That's three.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
The ones that I rewatch. And I say that maybe
you kind of have to be in my top four,
right the things that I watch every year.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yeah, and maybe i'd.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Add into the Spider verse Squider malad choices.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yeah, you know in Jurassic speaking of Jurassic Park, in
the Island Kawaii and Hawaii, they still have the production
polls that were the original gates and we off roaded
like three and a half hours to go see them
in the middle of nowhere in the jungle. And it
was one of the most magical moments of my life.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah, that's like a that's a real quest. That's like
a I want to do that.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Almost I had five times, but it was worth it.
It was great.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Well, do you know one of the other films I
was going to say was Sorcerer, perfect film, but that
if you've never seen Sorcerer, maybe don't watch it because
it might be triggering, like.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Of that time.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
It's about like people carrying, like driving trucks full of
nitro glycerin through the jungle.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Okay, so sign me up to the list. We're doing it. Okay.
What would Louis's favorite Beyonce song or album be?

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Hmm, Well, because I'm gonna have to separate this slightly
from my favorite. My favorite Beyonce album is four. Louis's
favorite Beyonce song would be maybe cough it m or
Move from Beyonce's Renaissance album. But I think Lemonade feels

(02:46):
very Louis.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
It feels like a very Louis album. Yes, with the
baseball bats smashing a bunch of shit. Yeah, yeah, I'm
here for that.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
But maybe actually he thinks of himself as Beyonce in
that situation. But I don't know if he's the Beyonce
who is beyond?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I mean, if he's the other guy. Can anyone be
beyoncewer but Beyonce? No? No, sorry, Lewis, there's only one.
There's only one. Are you learned a bit of tap
dance for season one? Right? So? How much of a
dancer are you in real life? I love dancing.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I'm definitely I'm like a free dancer, you know, like
I can learn choreography if I need to. But I
am like i'd really like dancing around the kitchen. Yeah,
I'm very loose. I'm a loose mover.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Are you learning ballet because you're doing the movie Blazes? Right?
I am here, So you're in ballet? Yeah, I have.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
I probably shouldn't say this. I don't want to ruin
the film. But there's like a particular dance. There's like
fifteen minutes long, the dance itself that I am in
the process of learning at the moment. May me just
it's just watching on YouTube again and again and again
and again and again.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Ye can trying to condition my body. Something tells me
you're going to get it. I think you're going to
be just fine. It's very exciting. I think you're gonna
be just fine. On average. How many cups of coffee
do you consume on a night shoot?

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Oh, on a night shoot, like five or six?

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Okay, what's your go to coffee order?

Speaker 2 (04:20):
It's cold brew with like half measure milk, so like
half cold brew, half milk strong two Splendords, two Splendors.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yeah, it tastes a bit like chocolate. Okay, but it
feels aggressive. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not sure I
could do that.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
It's really yeah, it's really it's like horrible for my microbios,
for my spirits.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Okay, there you go. You only live once. You gotta
be hat.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
But I have one coffee a day in like my
normal life. It's weird how that works. Yeah, because I
fall asleep after like coffee makes me normally during the day, well.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Night, shoot, all rules are out the window. I get it.
If you could collab on a song with any singer
in the world, who would you pick? Edith Pf.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
I don't know why. She was just that was the
first I've been listening to an Edith Pf. So I've
been listening to Lavia and Morose a lot recently, and
she's just I was. I was not familiar with Edith
PF's game.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Okay, really, I'm not either. I'm gonna have to go
look her out. It's pretty great.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Great, she's very long gone, but oh got it good
to know. I didn't want to say anybody living because
I don't want to jinx it.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Besides Beyonce, I don't know if I could, Oh, if
she called, you could don't even play that game.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
I think I would freeze, okay you and then like smash.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Well, then we'd have to get you back together, and
you need to go create a song because it would
be amazing.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
She's like, she's that person. I'm like, I can't meet
I can't meet Beyonce.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
She's I know she's Beyonce. Okay, what is Louie's favorite
weapon of choice? Sword caine or machete? Words? Words? Yeah, fair,
fair enough, Okay, good one. Okay. If list That and
Louis were in a horror film, who would be the
first to die?

Speaker 2 (06:32):
I think list That would die first because I think
he'd like like if he was if he was more
and if he was less indestructible than he is, and
he would die first because he probably put himself in
front of Louis to be honest, and Louie would let him.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
LOUI would feel like yes please, yeah, yeah, that's so wrong. Okay.
What's more vulnerable? Releasing a song or performing an emotional scene? Releasing?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Oh, I think they kind of they have a similar thing.
But I think with a song you get all of
that that all comes out when you record the song,
where you write the song and then you record it.
I feel like that's when you get all of that
stuff out and you've kind of processed it by the
time you've done mixing and mastering and and like and
sort of intellectualize the song. Whereas I think with acting,

(07:24):
you're being caught, like if you let yourself go and
you're just like you're being present or whatever. You're just
like you're you're not one hundred percent sure what's going
to happen in an emotional scene. There's sometimes the camera
will catch stuff that you don't even know it's catching,
and I think that's that feels very vulnerable. I have

(07:46):
all of the control of my music, whereas I don't
always have the control of like what the camera sees.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
It's very interesting, Okay, if you more what is the
role that one day you hope to play?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
I don't know. I like being surprised. There's like there's
filmmakers that I would love to work with more than
like specific characters. And I also want to like I'm
like actively looking all the time for like things that
aren't like things have done before. M m was one filmmaker,

(08:27):
One filmmaker. Can I give you like three you can?
I just watched is God Is Alicia Harris genius. I
would love to work with her. Celene Skiama is amazing,
like like she just makes perfect stories. Aliti Rawalker again,

(08:57):
same kind of thing, but like there's like a hardness
to what she does. Rain Alan Miller, who directed ry Leane.
I think she's like has this like play for I
think she's like she's got some like Agnes Varda vibes
about her, and she's very exciting, very cool.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Yeah, yeah, you've thought about that, never iris as never
another one. Yeah, so you have your list. I love that.
I love that, Roland said Florence Welch loves the shell Yeah,
and wants to play a vampire on it. So, since
you're a musician, what was it like hearing praise from
a fellow musician. It's very cool.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
I mean, like she's outstanding. She's just like she's I'm
not sure. I mean she is, but I'm not sure
she's humans. Like, I'm not one hundred percent sure. She's
like I feel like she's like in contact with some
like ethereal o the worldly thing.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
So yeah, to get any kind of praise from from
from her somebody like her, it's very cool.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
