Speaker 1 (00:01):
Can you hit us together.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
We're gonna start and party party.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
I'm ready to party the Elvis Duran after Party.

Speaker 4 (00:10):
It's the After Party podcast. Look, Daniel's putting makeup on
just for the podcast.

Speaker 5 (00:15):
You look great.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
It doesn't look broken to me.

Speaker 5 (00:18):
They're very kind. Right today, Jason Darulo came in and.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Nobody told us so we would not get ready.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
Okay, let's talk about that. Yeah, Gandhi and Danielle are livid.
So Nate telling the story. This has been in the
works for about five days.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yeah, not even like a Friday afternoon.

Speaker 5 (00:41):
I think it was.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
We got an email that said, hey, Jason's gonna be
in town. He'd love to stop by play his new song.
Would you guys be open to having him? So I
got in touch with Elvis, and Elvis said, well, you know,
we love him, but how can we make it special?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Right?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
How can we make it different? Because we've ad Jason
on the show.

Speaker 5 (01:01):
A million times.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
It's like family now, so we're like, well, let's make
it a surprise. He just busts in and it was
a lot of timing, right, and I think we even
we were you know, we played a song when we
probably should have gone a commercial because we were trying
to time out his arrival to just walk into the studio.
So he just comes in here, plays his song and

(01:23):
did anybody have any clue?

Speaker 5 (01:25):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:25):
No, no, no.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
No, no no.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
But doesn't matter. They are so mad at us because
God Gandhi's like, well, I wouldn't have worn this, and
Daniel's like I would have worn this.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Jason drive.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
Homeless today. This is my homeless outfit. I asked, you.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
Have another outfit, your homeless.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
This is not the one. So Garrett actually picks me
up today.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
And when I got in his car and he starts
pulling away, I was like, oh, man, I actually forgot
my makeup because I had a backpack issue this morning.
My backpack exploded all over the place, so I was
in a hurry. So usually I just bring it with
me doing the car. No problem. He's like, do you
want me to turn around? I said, yeah, no, nope,
just forget it.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
There's no one coming in today. What I said, and
then you turns excellent.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
That makes it even better.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
I love it even more.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
I had to tell her I go, I had no idea.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
I swear to God, I was being nice. I was
being nice asking if you wanted to go back.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
When he surprised you, it's like, oh my gosh, it's
such a great surprise.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
And at the same time, it's like, oh my gosh, I.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Walking with Jason and he sits down and he's so
he's trying to hug everybody, and I just see Danielle's
face and gun face.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
They are stupid, they were mad. What's up?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Frog? I do want to ask, so Nate, Scottie, Garrett Scary, myself,
would any of us have borne anything different if we
knew Jason is coming out? Absolutely not.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
This is why, you know what, because we always dress
our best everything.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
If Zara Larson was coming in here.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
For the unplanned moments and breaking of the routine and
when a surprise.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
You know, kind of like come in like the room
the way it did.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
I didn't even know anything, and I'm running the controls
of the board.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
I'm like, you just roll with it.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
You have a girlfriend, single Scary.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
You wear the same ragged shirts every day.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
I don't what he's wearing.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
He's wearing a crazy eddy, his prices.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Are He's all prepared well anyway, So sorry about the surprise,
but not sorry. And Nate, Nate and oh my god,
they're here, Nate and I. I think we're gonna play
some more surprises.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yes, you just be like, hey, guys, we're gonna take
some pictures today, don't last night.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
I'm like, do I warn them?

Speaker 2 (03:45):
But you know how this place is. You know how
this place is, like, oh, why are we getting dressed up?
You would know there's no heads up on these pictures.
There's got to be something brewing.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
You can't tell his clients are coming through. Don't look
like a bull.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
No, yes you can, because you come in you're like
you don't care.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Sometime with clients you're like whatever, you guys can't sacrifice
makeup for a good surprise, something fun.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Clearly we did.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Choice.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Why couldn't you just say like exactly, like, hey, there's
something something you may want.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
I'll tell you. I'll tell you what. I'll tell you why.
Because you can never take just the that as your
answer and move on. There would be twenty questions after
we just gave you.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
So many easy ways to do it. Because it it
wasn't Jason Derula walking in. I didn't even see him
at first. It was the freaking camera crew. I can't
wait some sort of documentary.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Look, camera, the camera crew.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
The camera crews always with Jason Drulo. Okay, here's the thing.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
There were more.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
We will have more guests that will be planned.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
Well, I did not say it's not in my contract.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
And you'll have some some that may just kind of
just drop it out of nowhere.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
So they never booed No, I mean I still have to.
That's my favorite story. He went, he went upstairs to Pooh,
came back with Jason.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
He still managed to ship all over Dan yelling me
was great. We loved it.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Jason Drea has the song of the summer. We love
him anyway. It's sexy for me is the name of
the song.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Make sure you listen to it. You'll hear it. I
actually used to get dressed up and like when we
knew something was happening.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Now I just don't care.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
Sometimes I do put effort in. I'll wear a shirt
with buttons. Sometimes you guys would be look, I know,
I don't want to hear it.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
I'll dispute that because when we had her two years ago,
I always wearing some raggedy hood because you had.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Your guys. Guys, guys, bottom bottom line, bottom line. I've
made a decision. You from time to time will be
surprised with a guest from time to time.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
This emotional terrorism in the workplace, all right.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
So so when you get dressed up every day now
and put makeup on, just in table still you know
what you no just be you just be yourself in
your fight.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
We got to get out of here. Thanks for being here.
