Speaker 1 (00:00):
What are we even doing? What are we even doing?
Hello there, it's Kyle. We're here at Kyle's Corner, and
we're going to get to your questions, and we're going
to talk about music. But I also want to discuss
this little item right here. This is a little pad
(00:20):
put together by my crew. Isn't this amazing? Look how
they built that with the tape and everything. Incredible. But
this has some pins on there. Look, there's David Lynch
right there. There's the log lady. And here is an
original pin from Blue Velvet that David Lynch had made
for all the cast and crew. And I've still got
it right here. Pretty awesome. Yeah, David Lynch. Pretty special.
(00:40):
You remind me today of a small Mexican chihuahua. What
are we even doing? Hey, everybody. We're going to go
to some questions right now from you, our viewers. And
you know who we're going to bring in. That's right.
The one, the only... Lyle is here with us. Yes. Hey, wow.
(01:05):
You're all dressed up, Lyle. You look very nice. What's
the occasion? I decided it was only right and proper
that I wear something special as we are coming to
the end of our season. And it just felt right
to wear black. This is not mourning by any means.
This is more celebratory. But it's the only suit I had, actually.
I see. And tell me about the tie. It's a fish,
(01:27):
if you can see. You see the fish right there.
I happen to love the fish. One of my favorite
things to do. Just be real careful with the fish
around the coffee. That's all I can say. You know,
you have a different look. What's going on with that?
I thought maybe a little hair on the face could
(01:50):
present something a little different, maybe. You know, do you
like it? Well, should we get down to some questions?
All right, question number one. What's your favorite place in
the world? My favorite place in the world is right
here at the studio. My second favorite place in the
world is right here in the studio. You know what
my favorite place in the world is? Sitting at dinner
(02:14):
at the table with my wife, with Callum, having a
meal together. That's my favorite. That's my happy place. If
you would dye your hair, and I'm not saying you do,
what color would you dye it? And that's D-Y-E, not D-I-E. Well,
if I were to dye my hair, and I honestly
(02:34):
have never dyed my hair ever in the entire world,
it would be really fun to have gray hair someday.
And I would maybe dye it gray. Maybe that would
be the choice. Oh, here's one of those would you
rather questions. I love these. Would you rather swim in
a pool of fries or nuggets? Is there ketchup involved?
(02:59):
I'm the ketchup. I am like the walrus. I'm the
egg man. Cuckoo, cuckoo, choo. I would swim in fries
for sure. Something about fries. I think I would fill
up on nuggets too quickly. And fries, I could eat
the entire pool full of fries. Would there be salt involved?
You have to have salted fries. Okay. And which fries
(03:23):
would these be? Would these be McDonald's fries? Would they
be In-N-Out fries, would they be? All shapes of fries,
all different kinds of fries. That would be fun because
then you wouldn't know what kind of fry. Like if
you were drowning and you had to chew your way
out and you could eat fries, that's a great idea. Now, Kyle,
how do you keep that youthful glow? That youthful glow.
(03:44):
I carry around a flashlight right under my chin and
it scares the hell out of the kids. Like this one.
Come on. See how youthful that looks? I'm saying you
all got to try this. It's very, very flattering. Is
there anything that David Lynch told you about Cooper that
(04:04):
you kept secret to the people? And by people, I mean, well,
I don't know who I mean by people, but by
the people. Well, I can't reveal the secret, can I?
That would be cheating. I'm going to let you in
on a little secret. What is it? What is it?
What is it? Is it future or is it past?
(04:25):
Question mark? It's both. Your question was in the past,
and now it's the future. It's so weird how that works.
What are some of your favorite plays slash musicals? So
I guess one of each category? Well, I really like
The Crucible for a play. I know, it's a little
bit heavy. Because it is my name! Because I cannot
(04:52):
have another in my life! And in terms of a musical, oh,
you know, I remember seeing Sweeney Todd in New York
many years ago, and I really liked that musical. But
my favorite favorite is probably Oklahoma, because I played Will
Parker in Oklahoma. Will sings a particular song about Kansas City,
(05:17):
and he sings, I got to Kansas City on a Friday.
By Saturday, I learned a thing or two. For up
to then, I didn't have an idea of what the
modern world was coming to. And it's modern, not modern.
Very important. I tap danced in cowboy boots. Oh, my. Oh,
(05:39):
that's something to behold. Yeah. There's, you know, the few
people that saw that performance will never forget it. Well,
I never. Eisenhower Senior High School. Well, how does it
feel to be the best actor never nominated for an Oscar?
You were never nominated for an Oscar? Well, that is
surprising to me. Oh, Pasha. Yes, so many wonderful performances.
(05:59):
Particularly that Showgirls. I love that one. That's so nice
of you to say, Lyle. Oh, it's not. You didn't
say it. It's from the question of one of the people. Sorry.
Really a missed opportunity, I think, for the Academy. Just saying.
That's right. But I was nominated for Razzie. I believe
Pauly Shore won that year. Very, very... challenging competition difficult
competition because he's very special if you could live in
(06:28):
any movie what would it be and why well i
can tell you a movie i wouldn't want to live
in and that's alien can you imagine being stuck on
that ship with that thing running around I would like
to live in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. That
(06:50):
would be really fun to me because I love sweets.
You could eat the flowers and, you know, you could
spend time with the Oompa Loompas, hear their story. Well,
that's all we have today. Well, it's really great to
see you. You did a wonderful job. I'm going back
out now. Are you going to keep the look? Because
I'm not sure it's working, actually. I think I might shave. Guys,
(07:11):
we did it. We did everything. I'm out. But before
I go, a little bit of music to soothe your soul.
