I did very shy relatives, but there are a few
fruit relatives. They're visiting me in New York and so
I thought, what a better way to my sister and
my nieces.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
We're gonna the very private people.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
So we saw the Statue of Liberty and Elvis Duran
pretty quick.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
That's there.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
It's kind of funny when people come to visit New
York they do the things that we never do. Statue
of Liberty never been. It's great. I mean, really, can
you talk in where were you last the Statue of
Liberty when I was sixteen? You have you been since
you've moved here? I floated by it on the stage.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Okay, class trip thing that you go to like, would
you live here?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Of course I did.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Fifty two years living in New York City.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
I've never been inside the Statue of Liberty.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
I said, this summer scary.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
We're gonna take you gandhi have you I have.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
I have friends coming in all the time, and you
can also see it from my apartment.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
So if you have family coming in, that's a good
thing to do.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
She has a great bottle.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
You become a tourist. Yeah, she looks.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
She's very curvid like. She looks.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Okay, you got to get the Crown tickets. Garrett and
I went up in the Crown.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Is it's still yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:38):
It was? Then Is it a premium to get into
the Crown. No, it's just different tickets, special tickets, cause
they only allow a certain number a day. I heard
they closed the Crown. I don't know never they never
reopened after covis a crown really? Oh and then the torch.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
You can't get into the You should be able to
go into the onto the torch.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I don't trust her. Lady Liberty has been around for
a while. Yeah, and I always keep seeing those those
movies where they intact New York City and Theberties on
our side drowning in the river.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
You can still visit the Crown, it says, not the
torch it's an exclusive experience, was tightly controlled access.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I think you guys got to go to the American
Museum of Natural History. You gotta, you guys gotta go there.
But my one criticism, as you know Elvis, they need
new dead animals.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
They need to the new animals are on the date
the whale they shriveled in.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Bleach. I never say.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
I was just there and I thought the animals looked great.
Remember they might have done a little reforce, have done something. Yeah, animals,
you know where outside? I think you should go Rise
Up New York. Have you ever been?

So it's down by uh Car Carnes and Time Squat
and it's all about New York. It's like like the
Fashion District, and it's about Broadway, and it's about movies
made there. And the end of it is an actual
ride like the world. Oh, it's very cool. It's called
Rise Up New York. Elvis is in it because the

Radio Hall of Fame and Elvis is in there.

Then it's a musk.

It's a very good history of New York.

We are pretty.

It's like a like a little well seeding area. Did
you enjoy it?

I ran out of there, but like a nice little
pink couch. Oh, I wouldn't make this. It wasn't real.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Okay. While we're on the subject, give me some more
examples of what we should do in New York, because.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
We're going to go to the theater so big Broadway family.
We love music, grew up singing and dancing, so again
and see maybe Happy Ending, which I think when the
Tony last year, and then the next day going to
go and see a Tony winner from this.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Show rag Time, which is my favorite.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
GHI great show.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
I love the original rag Time.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
I love that. Remember twenty years ago it was great.
And so we're gonna go and do great book. It's
a real treat being ith. We got got some fancy dinners.
I'm going to go to now boo. I'm not paying
very expensive. My sister can pick up that chair.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
So I like this. I feel like we should all
be a tourist in our own town from time to time.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
What I'm thinking of doing too this is going to
sound really odd, but I'm a bit of a lazy
walker and they have buzzes that drive you around and
you sit on a double decker bus. Well, I'm not
jumping people.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
That's like on the upper deck.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
I might go upstairs and sit upstairs with my family
and with around the city. So that's that's a possibility
to you know.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Remember when we did that in London. Greg Tea was
with us who used to work here, and he took
the microphone and he made up the entire tour.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
To the py believe it, and they all believed them.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
They would have stopped. Nobody's not the drive, nobody's nothing.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
You can say that I have learned close your ears family.
You can point out buildings and say Madonna lives there
or Hugh Jackman lives there. They won't know what the different.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
So we've seen lots of celebrity apart. They would be
so impressed that you knew where they live.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Because I have so many people that come in and
out of town all the time and they're always asking
me the same thing. I just made a map that
I send to all of them things to do, what
you should do, and I'm like, you're on your.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Another building too that we did go to see and
it was a mob scene and it was amazing. We
went to carry Bradshaw's house. Yeah every time. Don't you
wait a second. I heard they put chang. Furious they
put change.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
I'm stupid. Why would you ever buy that place? I mean,
I'm sure it's a nice piece of property, whether she
lived there, film there or not. But here's my thing
about New York City and tourism. I detest Times Square.
I just do. I know there's an energy. I know

it's the crossroads of the world, whatever the fuck you
want to call it. I do not like Times Square.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
What is it about Time?

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Because it's just full of tourists. Oh can you tell me?
It's like going to picking in the circus? Do you
go there when you're in London? Every time I go?
You do not? Yours? Do you go down by this?

Speaker 3 (06:31):
You do not?

Speaker 1 (06:32):
I got to know.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
No, I think I kind of like Times And Madonna
was there a few nights.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
I was there Whendonna. I had no idea she was there.
It was packed, we were going to a show. I'm like,
what is happening? And it was Madonna?

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Best she is?

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Yeah, bless you hate it. But if you're coming to
New York, would you tell somebody that they have to
stop by Time Square if they've not been here.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Before on your way to meet me downtown or in
the East Village for dinner.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Tell everybody looks and you got to see it once
and then never again.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
See I don't I must be weird. I love it.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
You're not weird. A lot of people, a lot of
people love times.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
I just when I get there to see all the
different people from all over the world and just the energy,
it just it makes me so happy.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
I don't know why.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
You know what you just explained why around the world.
It is the It's what New York City is about.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
It makes me happy.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
I won't go near him.

But I like to see him.

Froggy, what about you as a tourist in New York City?
You've seen it all? Yeah, every time we go. Lisa
loves to go to Brian Park.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
She loves to go to the little the markets that
are there, and then her and Daniel always like to
go down and shop in those places where you have
to go down in the holes and.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Buy as you say, you know, as we say down
there where I live in near Canal, it's see anal
how you spell it?

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Every now and the sea goes out.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
I love it or hate it. Look, I love New
York City, but I like where the tourist art. And
I know that. But I know the tourism is.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
What keeps the ould. Guys, I know, I know. So
my favorite stuff is your apartment where I shall be
