Well, I got a couple of TV shows, and I
got three things to watch in theaters. The first one,
let's start with something from Prime Video, Spider Noir with
Nicholas Cage and the titro role of Spider Noir. If
you guys like the Spider Verse movies, you've been introduced
to the character already. Well, now Nicholas Cage is playing
this character in live action. You can either watch it
in black and white or you can watch it in
beautiful hue color. So you have two choices to watch

it there. I prefer black and white because it fits
the neo noir vibe and Nicholas Cage just is going
full send into the role of Spider Noir.

theater because they're all on his level. And that's why
my son, who's twenty one, he and all his friends
went to the theater for the first time in a
while just for that movie.

on this new style and these new producers were breaking
all the rules on the come up. No offense to
the spielbergs.

Well, yeah, well, I'll say this, Like Curry Barker, the
director who made this movie, he's a good friend of mine.
We both came up on TikTok and social media together,
mind you, so like we've been knowing each other for
a good while. And to see him rise from like
comedy skits to doing his uh horror short films on YouTube,
the man's always had to him and when you talk
to him, he really knows his horror, He really knows film.

So for me, it's no surprise that this movie is
getting all the love that it is, especially with Focus
Future being behind it.

To get a movie made now what people are watching,
I think this is charting a whole new way forward
because not only is Curry Barker killing it with Obsession
back Rooms, Came Parsons, who's twenty years old, is also

talk about like the Flippos who started off on YouTube
and did talk to Me, and now they're doing talk
to me too. You know, YouTubers and smaller creators are

business and never given their chance, and here they are
with a platform and now finally some financial backing because
they're getting all this notoriety.

And seriously, that movie frickin' rocks. It rocks. I watched
it three times.

then you start thinking about the movie and how you

I've got to see Obsession.

I enjoyed that when I got a lot of enjoyment
out of it. I do think that the concepts of
what he was trying to do is bigger than what
the execution would allow.

It is almost like Coreline neat Blair Witch Project, which
I really appreciate. Performances are really solid, really made me
afraid of hallways. Not gonna lie, But the way I
described it, it was like a very pretty paper airplane
that you threw it did a cool looty loop, you

Then it hit the ground with a thud, and I
was like, okay, yeah, that was the nicest.

My son went to see it and he was so
excited because everybody was talking about it. And then when
he came home, I go, what'd you think? And he
goes kind of the same as you. He's like, well,
I liked some of it, I didn't like the other
you know, same thing.

So yeah, he was probably like on the internet when
that photo of the back rooms like first came up,
so he's probably like part of that fan base.

for you because Obsession made a buttload of money off
Gama and heated Rival where you had a lot of
butt stuff, So you incorporate the word butt in your
next review.

Actually the next movie that I had scary movie, fair

if you liked Saving Private Ryan, this is about this
considered this a prequel, but it's a bunch of people
talking about the weather and whether or not they should
inded and they make it very, very intense, So it's
it's a very tense movie. The pacing is really on point,

the acting is really on point. It's a sleeper hit
in my opinion. So I'm telling everybody to go see
Pressure and just got Brendan Fraser.

It's a different type of war movie.

But if you watch this and Saving Private Ryan back
to back, it would just blow your mind, honestly.

It talks about aging, it talks about lost chances, it

And seriously, that movie frickin' rocks. It rocks. I watched
it three times.

I have a friend that went and saw and said
their just mine was blown by the whole concept. And
then you start thinking about the movie and how you
would apply it to your own life. And so, uh,
I've got to see Obsession.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
Did you see the other one, the one the twenty
year old made the back rooms? Yeah, what do you
think of that?

I saw that one.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
I enjoyed that when I got a lot of enjoyment
out of it. I do think that the concepts of
what he was trying to do is bigger than what
the execution would allow.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
It is.

It is almost like Coreline neat Blair Witch Project, which
I really appreciate. Performances are really solid, really made me
afraid of hallways. Not gonna lie, But the way I
described it, it was like a very pretty paper airplane
that you threw it did a cool looty loop, you
said whoa, and.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Then it hit the ground with a thud, and I
was like, okay, yeah, that was the nicest.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
My son went to see it and he was so
excited because everybody was talking about it. And then when
he came home, I go, what'd you think? And he
goes kind of the same as you. He's like, well,
I liked some of it, I didn't like the other
you know, same thing.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
So yeah, he was probably like on the internet when
that photo of the back rooms like first came up,
so he's probably like part of that fan base.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
And then the movie came out.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
I was like, okay, yeah, Juju, I have a challenge
for you because Obsession made a buttload of money off
Gama and heated Rival where you had a lot of
butt stuff, So you incorporate the word butt in your
next review.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
So okay, okay, so this is okay for sure.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Actually the next movie that I had scary movie, fair
amount of butt stuff.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
So is that the rating system? Now I'll get this
one four out of five butts?
Speaker 5 (09:29):

one more thing there, Juju.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Oh I got two more things, and I'll just go
really quick Pressure with Brendan Fraser and Andrew Scott. It's
if you liked Saving Private Ryan, this is about this
considered this a prequel, but it's a bunch of people
talking about the weather and whether or not they should
inded and they make it very, very intense, So it's
it's a very tense movie. The pacing is really on point,
(09:55):
the acting is really on point. It's a sleeper hit
in my opinion. So I'm telling everybody to go see
Pressure and just got Brendan Fraser.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
It's a different type of war movie.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
But if you watch this and Saving Private Ryan back
to back, it would just blow your mind, honestly.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
And then the last I said.
Speaker 5 (10:09):
That, I'm so excited to see that movie because I'm
a history nerd.
Speaker 6 (10:11):
Do you wait, did you shoot see that first?

Or Saving Private Ryan first?

like everything leading up to Saving Private Ryan. It's it's
kind of its kind of insane.

Funny in saving Ryan's privates, but.

That was good? That was a lot of pressure.

Power Ballot. It's directed by John Carney.

It has Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas in a movie
that's very reminiscent of Big Fat Liar, but it's about
Paul Rudd who makes the song with Nick Jonas, who's
a big movie star, and Nick Jonas steals the song
and nobody believes that this is his song. So it's
It's a great movie. It's an amazing movie, very soft.
It talks about aging, it talks about lost chances, it

talks about pressure.

It talked pressure but stuff.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
It talks about where music comes from more often than not,
So I would say Power Ballot, please go watch it.

It is a sleeper for me.

It's one of the best movies that I've seen this
year because I love John Carney. He also did one
of my favorite movie, c Street. So that's that's all
I got to say about that. Those are my movies,
those are my picks.

Wasn't there another one like that with the Beatles where
the guy they thought he made.

Me yesterday, Yesterday Yesterday.

That's a great movie too, really really great movie that
one is like groundhol Day, but it's like what if
you woke up in the world where the Beatles didn't exist,
so you have to sing the Beatles songs to people.

I was like, that's a really great concept.
