All right? So Joanna works at doctor Miller's office and
they're looking for a new receptionist and she's getting all
kinds of crazy people calling and applying for the job.
So I figured i'd call and apply for the job.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
I hope you don't get it.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I hope so Daniel's phone.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Tap Doctor Miller's office.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Hi, this is Martha Vineyard. I'm calling about the job
for the receptionist position.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
How can I help you.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I saw in the paper today that you had an
opening for a receptionist.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Yeah, yeah, we do. Actually, but the confess for you know,
someone twenty one and up.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I'm fifty two.

Speaker 1 (00:47):

We're looking for something a little different, and we've already
got a whole lot of applications in and.

Speaker 2 (01:18):

can I help you? See? I'm good at that.

That one was really lovely, But I'm sorry, I just
don't think that. I think that we have a lot
of applications already and they came in first, and I

Speaker 2 (01:37):
All, you can put my application on the top of
the clok.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
There's just no way that you can answer the phone
at this office. It's not gonna happen. Why you have
a really you you have a very high register on
your voice to say, you have a very high pitch
that might work for their things. For this office, we
need somebody who's calm, sortive, uh you know there, not you.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Essentially, I'm an assertive what Hello, Doctor Miller's Office. Thanks
for calling. How can I direct your call? That's common assertive?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
All right, I'm gonna have to let you go. I
really appreciate your calling, and you have a wonderful day.

Speaker 2 (02:28):

Speaker 2 (02:48):
You told me before that you thought I was a
little kid. Well, would a little kid say ten face lucky?
