Speaker 2 (00:03):
Hi, Andrews got Serial Killers who podcast?

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Where We Eat Cereal? Try it? Review it and then
and then you you yeah, you you see it?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Okay, buddy, I have a feeling you're not going to
be trying the one that we're eating today. I've been
dreading this one, but it's new, so we have to
do it. Why I don't like it?

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Wait? So why am I dreading something that you don't like?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
No, I'm dreading it. I don't want to do it.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
But you phrased it that I wouldn't want to do it.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I don't think I said that.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
No, you did.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
I wish we could just start this whole thing over again.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Now, well, oh, because you started so terribly usually I started.
I won't let somebody take muspt night. No, I didn't
say that, Andy.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
All right. Well, our good friend secret squirrel Joel sent
me there's a couple of days ago, but I've had
it in the hopper for like a month already. The hopper,
the sack, the table, the thing, the table okay. Yeah.
And also our other good pal, farmer Matt, sent me
a picture of it yesterday. I just start letting him. Know,
we already have because he buys stuff for us and
sends it and I've got it already. He did you

(01:05):
see the video he posted with the horse pull and
the tractor the horn?

Speaker 1 (01:08):
I did not. I would love to see that.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yeah, I'm gonna hang out with farmer Matt. Okay, we
should be farmers together, farm tips. Yeah all right, Andrew,
So this one, yeah, I don't. I just it's Lucky Charms,
three new unicorns, Andrew, But it's cotton candy. Ill. Yeah,
it's gonna be too sweet, too sweet. We've done three
other cotton candy cereals in existence of this podcast. Yeah,

(01:30):
you know what, I'm just gonna I'm gonna go back
to cereal KILLERSPC dot com.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Okay, and I'm just curious to see if we've ever
done this.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
No, no, no, I know we didn't do this. We
what we rated cotton candy? Do you remember any of them?
Any of them?

Speaker 1 (01:43):
I feel like there was like a tricks cut can No,
that never happened. I feel like there was a rice
Crispies cut maybe. Oh the Captain Crunch Catton Crunch, Oh sorry, captain, Yeah,
there was Captain Crunch Cotton candy and uh, let's see.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Oh that's a fun picture. You're choking me. We they
it got a bowl from both of us. You gave
it a bowl and a spoon. You were being generous
that day. And then there was the Three Wishes cotton candy,
our friends, the Wishing Grads, and somehow you liked it.
You gave it three balls.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I mean, if it tastes more like rainbow sprinkles, like
rainbow confetti icing or something, then I like it.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Yeah, I think that's the thing. And then and then
this one's a shocker. This one was back in When
was this one? Oh, you weren't even here. It was
Danielle and Spencer in twenty twenty three. Wow, it was
Walmart's cotton candy cereal and Danielle gave it four balls,
Spencer three bowls in the spoon, and meet three balls
in the spoon. I think it didn't taste very much
like cotton candy.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
I think this might be the same. I think it
just might be a little sweet, and they might just
be like.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Oh, unicorns, but this one has marshmallows in it. Fine,
Look how many unicorns around the back?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Handy, how many unicorns?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
What would her name?

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Be Tracy.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Okay, yeah, this one's not tied into a movie or
anything like that. It's just cotton candy.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
It was just the fever dream of one employee. Yeah,
like who came to the table and was like, guys,
you need like at least five new Lucky Charms flavors.
And the person was like, hear me out cotton candy,
but unicorns are the shape, and there's fifteen new ones. Yeah,
I mean there are four different unicorns in here.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
It's just three.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Oh, this smells like cotton candy.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
I don't think so. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
I think this was like grape, which is basically cotton candy.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
It's not at all.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Percent of cotton candy is just great flavor.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
No it isn't. It's just pink pink. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Oh no, this smells like cotton candy like a lot.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Gosh, getting older, pal, No, no, no, I'm just getting fat. Okay,
So we're gonna use two percent lacked head plus calcium milk.
Andrew well, I'm oh damn it, I just dropped it
on my balls.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Oh god, gosh, Okay, did you go oystering oystering?

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Oh no, that's the that's the beach by my house.
That nice. Yeah. I went there over the weekend and
one of our listeners, one of our very good listeners,
was there, Danielle. Oh yeah, she was sitting next to me.
And d m me said, I think I was sitting
next to you at the beach and there she was. Huh,
oh my god. I hope her name is Danielle. I
feel like an idiot. It was one two.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Mm hmm. Nope, nope.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
I don't really taste cotton candy yet I do. It
is overly sweet. That's the marshmallow medicine, medicine.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
And the texture of the marshmallow. No, absolutely not, that.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Is a marshmallow. No, you're just saying marshmallow. They're in
every lucky.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Charm something's I don't like this, This isn't it. I'm
gonna give this a bowl.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Colors from natural sources.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Well, maybe the colors are off putting to me, but
it just it tastes like medicine. The crunch of the
marshmallow makes me just eugh.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
No, No, I think that this is magically delicious. Andrew
not for me, wow, because I don't really I don't
like like artificial cotton candy flavor. I don't that this tastes.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Is there ever an actual natural cotton candy flavor? Yeah, oh,
you've had all natural cotton candy I have. Oh, must
be on the farm. Yeah, I don't know the chickens
lay it or something. Well, it does say artificially flavored
the sweetener to make the cotton candy.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Whatever the dust is on this look. I don't think
it's terrible because I don't think it tastes like cotton candy.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Again, it tastes like medicine.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
I'm giving it three bowls.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
This was worse like so there was a very specific
pink bubblegum medicine.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Like yeah, the amoxisillin.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
But sometimes that the generic it didn't taste good, right,
this is the generic version of that. Really it's more
bubblegum than it is cotton candy, and I dislike it.
I don't like this. This is gum cereal. Okay, yeah, sorry, Lucky?
Why's he wearing a scarf? You don't like me, Lucky Charms?

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Why's he wearing a scarf in the summertime.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Because he's cold?

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Huh?

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Because he's a leprechaun. It's cold. I guess heat rises,
you know.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Well, in this marshmallow cotton candy world that he's living
in here. It's probably chilly.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Yeah, I mean the grass looks like glass, so maybe
it's like sharp. Who can say?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
I think you should try this if you're a fan
of Lucky Trumps, you know whatever, the marshmallows are Lucky Trumps, marshmallows.
I don't know what Andy's saying there, and I don't.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
I don't think you should. This is not worth it. It
tastes like bubble gum who listen to off brand bubble
who you're going to listen to? It almost is like
stale Bozuka and you're chewing it and you're just like, hut,
I remember when you get the huzz over that.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
I remember when Bazuka was three cents at the five
and dime cool. I was alive for that.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Wow, what was that like the eighteen forties?

Speaker 2 (06:35):
No, it was the eighties. I used to ride my
bike up to the distationary store and buy Bazuka for
three cents apiece. Then it went up to five and
whoa bruh. If you could dig around and find the
old three cent ones because it was printed on there.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
The comics and there were my favorite and Buzuka gum oh.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
I used to send away for all the stuff in
the comics. Fine, we've actually talked about this before. I
got a camera one time. It was a one twenty
six camera. What's that?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Literally?

Speaker 2 (06:58):
What is that? That was the kind of film it took?
What's film?

Speaker 1 (07:02):
I know what film is?

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Dope? Okay? Can you name four types of film that
used to go on cameras from back in the day.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Thirty five millimeter that's one I've talked about though, Polaroid
that technically went in a camera.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
I guess that that's not really film though, but I'll
give it still. I'll give it to you, but it's
not once. I mean once that you have to take
to get developed. That's film.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
The thirty five millimeter.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Right, I just said it. I literally I just said
the numbers. Really, I literally just said it. Eighteen No,
I just said it. Seven yeah, one ten disc those
are four?

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Whoa dingy nang? Congratulations you win nothing.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
That just proves I'm old. All right? You ready for
the next one, Andrew, Okay, let's just say yes. Yeah.
So this one also came from Farmer Matt, thanks pal.
Although that one I bought that one right there, I
bought that Lucky Charms I bought Oh thanks, magic spoon.
Is you know they're doing granola now? Fine, because we
don't like the Magic spoon cereals, so now they're doing granola.

(08:13):
This is protein granola, grain free, honey, almond, almond, almond.
This bag looks like it should be some kind of
coconut pineapple, which I thought it was. And I think
I'm having days of bou because I feel like I've
said that before.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
I mean, I don't really love the drops of honey
on this. They look kind of inappropriate. Okay, but okay,
keep going because high protein, high fiber, high honey almond.
Greg and Gabby are the co founders protein Granola. Here
we go with the proteins, packed with complete protein, filled
with fiber, and perfectly sweet with no added sugars, made
with real nuts and siege. Each bite powers your day

(08:48):
with the satisfying crunch granola that tastes amazing and keeps
you going without the usual crash. We think that's pretty magical.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
I think I might be getting a tiny bit of
a headache from the cotton candy Lucky Charms. You had
a bite, No, I had a lot. Look my cups
almost empty.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Well, I mean that's what happens when you have bubblegum cereal.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
I'm not gonna like this. I'm telling you right now,
I guarantee you granola. How could it be because it
has some kind of weird sweetener in it? I can
tell you right, smell it. It's got one of the
see the stevia, or it's got monk fruit, or it's
got one of those stupid things.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
They've gotten better with it though. No, we've had magic
spoons that I've.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Liked, almonds, sunflower seeds, tapioca fiber. There you go.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Let me tell you something. The approachingly cereal that actually
advertises on podcasts is magic spoon. We never do is
say we like a magic spoon monk. You know why
we're so broke is because we go after the cereal.
But it shows goes to show you we will not
jeopardize our integrity. Truth. Did that just it? Did it exploded?

(09:47):
Is there like carbonation in the milk?

Speaker 2 (09:49):
I don't know. What do you mean?

Speaker 1 (09:50):
You don't know?

Speaker 2 (09:51):
There shouldn't be, Andrew, it's milk.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Okay, So this is magic spoon, honey almond granola. Let's
get into it.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Yeah, I tasted some flower seed mm hmm. But I
also taste the monk fruit and I don't like it.
I don't taste it. I do. No, some flower seeds
are helping it along. Yeah, because for whatever reason, I

(10:19):
like some flower seeds in cereal. I don't.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Granola I think is less off putting than a normal
ring or O or loop from magic spoon. Yes, it
just the granola is able to hide a lot. I'm
gonna give it this three bowls. I don't think this
is bad. This tastes like pretty much any other run
of the mill granola.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Disagree there the monk fruit kind of.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
I don't get the monk fruit on this. Usually, you know,
I'd spit it out. When these first came out, we
were constantly throwing up yes you were. Yeah, that has
stopped because I think they've gotten better at hiding it.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
That was probably a very.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Big piece of feedback, is that if you're reverse to that,
you're not really enjoying it. But yeah, this isn't the worst.
I don't mind it.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
I'm gonna do two bowls and a spoon middle of
the road. It is not horrific, but I probably wouldn't
buy it. So there's that, Andrew. Let's take a quick
break and we'll be back right after this. And when
we're back, Wow, that was nice. Yeah, I'm gonna turn

(11:28):
this off because if I get an email to come
through and you'll yell at me. So I just wanted
to was just gonna do like a basic thing. Okay,
do you mind?

Speaker 1 (11:34):
No? Basis great, we went super sweet, we went kind
of blah, and now we're on the I guess even more.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
This is very blow also from Matt, Thank you, sir.
Tops the supermarket chain.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Yeah, Krispy Rice Okay, Krispy right, that's just your fake rice.
Chris Y have bananas that we can mix and mad
we don't do that. Oh I love rice Krispy and banana.
That's one of my absolute favorites growing up.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
I can't. I just can't picture bananas. It's serious.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
It is so delicious, Like I would look forward to
my mom making that all the time. When I say
make it, I mean literally cut above banana and put
rice chrispies with it.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Worst bag opening ever ever.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Thank God it was you and not me, because I
would have never heard the end of it if I
did it.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
No, it doesn't matter. I'm putting this right into the
cereal hopper out front when we're done.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Cereal hopper?

Speaker 2 (12:20):
What the cereal hopper? Why do you call it a hopper?
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
What do you call it a dispenser?

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Curtis Sliwa calls them silos?

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Okay, does he eat the cereals?

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Oh? Yeah, Oh he goes out. He just puts his
hand right under it.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
You know what, I actually do know that because he's
come around and been like, it's been crap cereals lately,
and I've been.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Like, okay, Curtis, let me know what. One's still in
there for weeks already. What is that? The Greek brand
flake one? It's just sitting there. That's how bad that
thing was.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Yeah, I mean it didn't taste very good, not very yasas.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
No, all right, here's tops Crispy rice and most of
the knockoff rice Chrisperies are just all the same Crispy rice. Yeah,
it actually smells like Rice Crispies.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Oh, it's making the same. Oh, I can hear.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Not snap crackle popping though, it's like boom kaboom, crashed bam. Yeah,
I'm just picturing three off brand and the mascots eyes
cross eyed. Just tastes like rice crispies to me, and
I love a rice schrispbabe. It's pretty good. Yeah, although

(13:29):
I just got a slight chemical taste.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
It tastes like sunscreen a little bit. Yeah, I'm gonna
give it four balls. This unscreen kind of turned me
off a little bit, but for the most part, Yeah,
that's a rice Krispy treat. It does have a weird
a rice crispy Yeah, not a treat because there is
no sugar.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
I'm going to give it three balls. Yeah, because it
does have a little bit of an odd taste. Speaking
of odd taste, this morning, I was in the bathroom
on five and I had just had coffee, so I
just wanted to rinse my mouth because the coffee, so
I put it. I just swished it around on my
mouth and it tasted like chemicals, like plastic toxic. The

(14:05):
water the water. Oh, and I know you're not supposed
to really drink the bathroom water from the sink, but
you people brush their teeth with that all the time,
which I think is the weirdest thing at work. But
my throat started hurting after I spit it out. And
I'm telling you I emailed the building. I did. They're
doing water tests.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Cool, what I what?

Speaker 2 (14:28):
I have to be the guy that looks out for people.
You are so dramatic, Like no, because then I came
up here and used the same water from the from
the sink and it was fine. So something ro They're
taking everything apart, the filters, flushing everything.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
So you did it. You said it's weird to do.
Then to run like another experiment, I'll try upstairs, and
then did it again, and then we're like, see there's
a difference. My throat doesn't hurt.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
No, there was, there's a there was an obvious issue
with the water. There there was something wrong with it.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
To you, No, it was why would you ever like
try again with a different water source if it's bad,
You just basically poisoned yourself.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Twice Because it's a different floor.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
That means nothing. It's all the same water building. I
would say if you went to the building next door,
then I'd be like, oh, see their water tastes different.
Why would you think on God's green earth? After you
just said yourself, people who brush their teeth at the
office are weird. Yes, you then went and did the
same thing on a different floor, and then we're like, ah,
water quality is different. I knew it because I was

(15:29):
testing you poisoned yourself twice like you potentially could have.
That makes no sense. That's not how experiments are made.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Yes it is. No, it's not all right, dude. I'm
not going to argue with you. Thank you much.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
You yourself had the bad logic.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
By the way, I like your little I like the
clips that you're putting up. Oh thanks, I enjoy them.
It's the ai is it? Yeah, that I don't like them.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
It runs through it and then it just cuts it
for me. Sus why I don't have to do it myself.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Actually, I meant to say, I don't really like that
last one because I got cut off at the end.
I was saying something and it just cut off.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Yeah, you know, when I had to do it myself,
if it would take like a lot of extra time.
But now it cuts it.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
It's great.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
What's the problem these kids, It's gonna be a problem.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
It's gonna be a problem these kids. So they got
no brains, mush mush, you're raising kids, I know, mush brains.
I don't let them use that stuff, you know.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
They are though.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
I know.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
Again, you can't make definitive statements when you are wrong.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
I'm not wrong. I don't want them to use it.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Okay, So that's one thing. Then you say I don't
want them to use it, but I know they do.
Instead you're like, I don't let them use it.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
This whole world. Man, we're in trouble. We're raising a
generation of idiots again, Who who is we? Everything's I
don't have a kid. Everyone idiots with the AI.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
You need to get the brick.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Hey, AI, just do my report for me. Okay, done?

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Well, I mean that's insane. Yeah, genuinely it's insane. Yeah,
especially like yeah, idiots, well maybe brick on their phone anyway,
I don't know what that means. It's great, my phone
at seven pm every night shuts off the Internet, and
it shuts off Instagram, and it shuts off the TikTok
and it shuts off one other thing and read it
on my phone. So then I just basically can text

(17:12):
and that's it.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Okay. Children up today would literally have a.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Stroke that happen, Well, then they should get a brick.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
It's a problem.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
It's wonderful.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
You need to figure it out. From Young, I want
that on a shirt. Figure it out from Young that
we haven't had shirts in a while. We get some
more shirts, but it's true.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
Make sure you get your figure it out from Young
shirt comic Zoom to the serial killers you see dot com.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
The problem is is once you give your kids too much,
it's very hard to take it away. See go in
reverse is because.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
You literally are just I don't know.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
It's the same with the no cell phones in school.
You know if you're gonna take it away grandfather.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
No, there is no grandfather.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
It needs to be No.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
You are again supporting the problem by saying, my kid
is special in NY can they need to be grandfathered in?
But these news Jennifer is stupid. No, you are generating.
You raise them. You can't grandfather them into something now.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Just like the kids that used to be able to
drink when they were eighteen and nineteen and they changed
the age and then they had to wait three years again. Okay, well,
terrible grandfather.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
You can't just say grandfather no. Yeah, then how it works.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Okay, we'll save this for a bull chat. Okay, anyway,
thank you for listening to Serial Killers's where we talk
about cereal, Eat it, try it and rate it for you.
