Speaker 1 (00:01):
Can you hit us together and we're going to stop
and party.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
I'm ready to party the Elvis Duran after party.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Yeah. Okay, so you heard that ya that we're all
screaming in the microphone.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
If the microphones weren't on and we weren't here, would
we do that?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Probably not. Here's my point. When we're here, we are
quote unquie, we're on in here quote we are on
a different level of crazy, a different level of energy.
But when we're out of here, we shouldn't be. But
if if those lines cross are blurred, we're looked at

(00:45):
as if we're freaks. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
I did this not too long ago. You know, when
we're in here, if somebody tells a story and they're
going a little too long, we'll be like, all right,
wrap it up, wrap it up, or you know, land
the plane. We say that to each other, and it's fine.
That's not okay to say to people outside of this room, apparently.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
But in the room, you know, we have clocks ticking.
We have deadlines to make and things like that. We
have to hit marks in life. We don't have those
clocks ticking, but I do. In my head at all times.
So if a conversation with a frame goes on too long,
you'll see me do that, and I'll look at my watch.
I don't even I want to watch, but I look
at my imaginary watching. Is this ever going to end?

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Watch a lot and I'm like, oh God, I'm not
supposed to do that, okay.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
And when Scary starts telling one of his long scary stories,
I'll interrupt by going TikTok tiktalk.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
Yeah, but I understand that and the need for that
kind of discipline when we're on. But if I'm hanging
out at the bar with you, guys, you should not
be treating me with those same but we're used to it.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
It's like if I'm at a bar and a song
on that's playing ends and another one doesn't start immediately,
I'm like, we've got dead air here, guys. I mean,
we're lose listeners and no, we're in a bar, So yeah,
what other examples are you? Are we thinking about? Like
things we do here we really shouldn't take, oh to
the world.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
I'll tell you go ahead that we went to dinner
with some of Lisa's friends and I don't really know
that well and on the way there, she's like, remember
these people don't know you and they don't play the
same way that you do. I'm like, all right, fine.
So we're there and the one of the guys orders
a drink, orders a drink and they said, do you
want to end the can or in the bottle? And
I said, oh, I'll take everything in the can. This

(02:29):
is like, that's what I'm talking about right there, you're
not at work. That's a good joke, though it is.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I like to so that's a mic on joke and
not a mic cough joke.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
I guess I don't know. I get told I need
to timper the things that I say that when I'm
not around the people that I work with.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
We do things here to make it sound fun, infested,
bigger than life. This six o'clock break is a perfect example,
because we're when we start to show.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
When we start the show, it's five point fifty eight.
If you actually heard this room, it's silence. It's silence.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Maybe a little bit of grumbling, some groaning, but it's
six o'clock.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Turns on. Okay, but that's part of the performance. Yeah,
it is. But also, to Gandhi's point, sometimes we bring
some of this out into the real world, and it
just doesn't really merge into traffic that easily.

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Right.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
You need to decompress a little bit after you leave here,
I think, And sometimes we don't give us ourselves enough
time to decompress.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
So we're just like.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Everywhere we go and we touch each other like sometimes
like I walk by, like tap somebody somewhere. I probably
shouldn't tap them. Can't do that in public.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
No, our jobs are exactly opposite of everything else where
we take this outrageous no Hr mentality into the real
world and people are like, oh my god, don't do that.
Whereas a lot of people shut that off before they
go to work, we're reverse. And I find myself sometimes
if someone's telling a story and I find it boring,
this is the one that got me in trouble. I
say boring, Well I should People were like, don't do that,

(04:01):
that's so mean. I was like, oh, shoot, I am
not at work. I shouldn't be doing it right.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Maybe I should think, though, to watch myself outside of
these walls. Sometimes I go to other floors and I realized,
wait a second.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Even though we're all in the radio.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
Business, we're all in the same company that doesn't the
rules don't apply in this room versus like say, the
sales floor. I can't talk to some of these people
the same way I talk to all of you.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Okay, So here's my assumption. We feel these microphones give
us license to be the real us. Yes, I really know.
I think that. Maybe not you. I'm just speaking for
me though. Howard Stern actually talked about the difference between
Howard on Mike and Howard off Mike. He is a
different person. We're all different. These microphones give us license

(04:48):
to rev it up. You're hearing I think you hear
more of the truth from us here than you do.
Yeah out of here.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
I think that's true of you and the two girls,
Danielle and Gandhi. But for Scary myself, we're like, we
get like a small and froggy too. We gets like
a small portion of airtime. So then you just hear
us in the background way, But.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
That is scary in real life.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Have you ever been around them if you just.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
Randomly shouted out, I'm sorry, but froggy is inappropriate always,
and that's.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Why I love it. That's true, and there you have it.
So yeah, if you're wondering if this is the real
US or not. It is. In my opinion, it is
the real life.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
See here, I grab Diamonds butt.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
At home, I grab my husband's.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
But you know there's always an ass around the Walmart.
You can't do that, Daniel, illegal again.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
I can't go down to the sales floor and grab
Amanda's butt, although she might like it, but I can't
do that.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
I can't do it all right now, you know the
microphone changes everything.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
