Speaker 1 (00:00):
You pay for the storage on Snapchat. Plus yeah, difference
between gen z and.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
And I can see where I am on other people's
best friends.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Plus oh okay, hey bestiees. Welcome back to another episode
of Uncut with Diamond. Today we're joined with Celia again.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
She's making her triumphant return. Hello.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
I'm so excited to be here.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
So the Summer House finale was the other day, and
I thought it would only be fitting to have Celia
chat with me. And I think that we're gonna do
this for the next few weeks because we have to
talk about the reunion. I may change the days that
we drop because there's so much coming up. We have
the Summerhouse three part reunion, we have Love Island UK starting,
(00:48):
and we have Love Island USA starting, And so I am.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
I'm in my glory. I don't think you understand. I'm
so excited. Atlanta's back. Atlanta's good.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Shout up to Andrew for last week's episode because that
was hilarious.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Rhode Island is very good.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
I think we're gonna give Rhode Island a week or
two because this last argument, I want to see how
it unfolds before we really chat about it. You guys
can obviously send me your thoughts on Instagram, but yeah,
for now, we're just talking about the Summer House finale.
Almost have reunion. I'm jumping the gun.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
I'm too excited.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Any thoughts Before you actually watched the finale, what did
you think was coming?
Speaker 4 (01:34):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:34):
I want to know.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
So obviously I saw the preview of West and Sierra kissing,
and that just really tugged at my heart strings.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
I was really upset.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
It's really hard and kind of painful to watch someone
do something in the past knowing what's happening now, Like
it really hurts my feelings and so I can't even
imagine how she feels. But I was expecting them to
hook up, and I thought that maybe it would come
to fruition like something else.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
I didn't think.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
I wasn't expecting West to kind of act the way
that he did in the finale.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Okay, you know the conversation about like or the comparisons
between this and scandalbal yes, and why this is so
much bigger than Scandabal when Arianna and Tom Sandibal were
actually in a long term relationship. I think that the
reason why this was so shocking to everyone and just
like hit. Like the way that it did is because
(02:31):
we didn't see Arianna and Tom like making out.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
Like you know, like they were in a relationship.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
But I think that we all knew that it was
just like, Okay, they've been together for a really long time,
Like this isn't whatever.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Same thing with like Kyle and Amanda.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
If it would have come out that she cheated on
him with anyone else, I don't think that anyone would care,
unless it's maybe like Carl, I think we would be like, WHOA,
that's weird.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
I think everyone would be rooting for her.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
Yeah, I mean like we we would do the same thing,
you know, like women's women can do what they want.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Ye.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
But because she made this terrible decision, yeah, of this child, then.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
She fucked herself over.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
She could have been having the Ariono Madix edit and
she handed it over to Sierra.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
She did, And good for Sierra.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
I go back and forth about like feeling bad for Sierra,
Like I feel bad right that this happened to her
and that this has caused like pain, but I'm also
really happy for her.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yeah, because like I'm happy for you. You're about to
live a great life.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
I know that like clearly what we see on the
outside and what we're happy about, like the fact that
she's getting all these brand deals and stuff is probably
not how she's feeling on the inside. Like at the
end of the day, it was a huge betrayal. Also Amanda. Okay,
when I say betrayal, I'm talking about Amanda.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
But also like the worst betrayal was.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
I mean, I'm pretty sure that we'll find out that
things have probably like died down between them. I know
that there are rumors that they may have hooked up recently,
but like I think that he people online are upset
about this, but I think he did a good job
voicing his concerns to Ben.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Yeah, like saying that he didn't want to date her,
and he's not a boyfriend because he's.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Not he's not well according to Miha the Pony, Yeah girl,
Uh he was a boyfriend for over a year, but well,
who do we believe?
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Like that's the thing.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
And also the thing is that Wes is a man,
so inherently he thinks with his dick. Amanda had a
brain that was very girl's girl apparent to us, because
it seemed to us for a very long time she
her being a bed bug and have always having Sarah's
(04:42):
back with West and everyone else and Austin Kroll.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Member, please don't mention him, I know.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
So the fact that I think that's why I was
such a big betrayal in her part, because she switched
her narrative so intensely.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
She did.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
And Okay, one day we're really going to have a
talk about Amanda and I am not. I have nothing
to do with psychology, psychiatry, anything.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
That has to do with the human brain.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
I don't really know much, but I do think that
there are reasons why she did this, and she might
not even know what the real reasons are behind it,
you know what I mean, Like she's saying, oh, we
saw the clip from the reunion where she says, well,
Wes was there for me and stuff, and that is
that's something completely different in itself, but in her head
(05:34):
that's why or that's how she ended up falling for him.
I think that there are way deeper things that someone
who actually has the knowledge and education and maybe license
to talk about this can But it it does make
me feel bad for Amanda, but not enough to be
like I just yeah, like she's forgiven. I mean, it's
(05:56):
not my job to forgive her, but like I could
understand where why she would never speak to her again.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
I will say that in the finale, when she said
to Mia and Sierra that if she leaves Kyle, she's
scared that she will never be enough for somebody else,
that was really interesting to me because I don't think
I've ever heard her say something like that, Like I've
heard her talk about her ambition and how like she
(06:22):
wants she has a lot of creative ambition and she
doesn't have anywhere to put it. But this was different
from me, and I think kind of opened my eyes
to how insecure she is and how little she thinks
of herself, which is crazy because before this whole thing,
I thought so highly of her. And I think that
that also plays into why she chose wes As over
(06:47):
Sierra because he probably is He's a great gaslighter and
can make her feel like she is something amazing. And
I have to say that seeing him like kiss her
on the forehead and like hug her and try to
protect her, like I would be feeling the same way,
Like I would be like, Oh, this man loves me
and he's willing to do anything. He's willing to fight
(07:08):
fight his guy friend for me. Like, then, yeah, I
would feel the same way, especially if you're already feeling
compromised that you don't feel enough.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
I also thought that the little monologue moment that Kyle
had in the in the Closet.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Was this week's episode. I think it may have been
last weeks.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Where he talked about the fact that he felt like
she wasn't happy, she wanted to leave him, but she
was scared to or she never would because she has
never done anything on her own, right, even the breakup
or separation whatever you want to actually call it. I mean,
it's a breakup now, but like, she didn't do that
(07:47):
on her own. Now we know that she didn't do
that on her own. She was pushed by her feelings
for someone else. Yep, that says a lot. It scares me,
I don't think. I mean, have you been watching Watch
What Happens Live?
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Of course, So if.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
You guys are not watching Watch What Happens Live, I
think that that's the telltale sign of all.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Of these shows.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
You have to watch Watch What Happens Live. I have
a friend who like skips it. She doesn't like the
fact that now on Bravo. Watch what Happens live feed
is like in this show. I love that I need
to watch it right after because these people get.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
On there with Andy.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
First of all, Andy's asking all the questions that we
wanted on I mean, he literally pulls it off the Internet.
But they are really showing their true colors. They're answering
these questions before we had, Like we don't have to
wait for the reunion to get a lot of these
answers right now.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
I love it, and I like that the questions that
we have in real time as they pop up can
be answered in real time as they pop up. Like
on the Watch what Happens with Kyle and Lindsay after
the finale, when Kyle said that he got the joint
statement on camera with Lindsay like they were together, that
was like I was, I love hearing that because that's
(09:01):
exactly what I want to know. I want to know,
like every situation. I loved how Lindsay talked about this
is last week. I think how she was at dinner
with Jesse in Canada and he was like, something's going
on with Wes and Amanda, Like I enjoy hearing all
the background things that they don't have time for they
cut in their reunion.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
You know what, someone needs to make a timeline of
when each quote unquote family member, cast member started changing
their story of like, there's no way this could happen,
and then oh, maybe something is up because you know
how like Jesse says that Sierra is the one who
(09:41):
tipped him off, and he was like, no way. And
then he went to what Miami, I think with the
group and he with the yeah with Amanda and West
and he thought something was up whatever. Then he starts
he says something to Lindsay and Lindsay's like no way,
and then like how did it spread?
Speaker 4 (09:58):
And like also hearing everybody say, oh, like West texted
me or Amanda texted me, and I want to know
what they did they say?
Speaker 2 (10:06):
What were in the text? Was it apology?
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Was it like yeah, they were apologized.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
Yeah, But I'm saying, like, you know how each of
them kind of said that West Amanda reached out after
the reunion.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
What were they say Yang? Was it?
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Like did you see when kJ read the text on
Watch It Happens Live. Also, I'm gonna say this disclaimer.
I thought that that was a little invasive. I thought
that like I didn't think that he should. I wouldn't
have read it. I was just put it like that.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
I would have read it to Andy, maybe not to
the whole world.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
I would have because I want to know. I want
to know what all these texts saying.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
We want to be nosy. But like I if I
hate that, I'm about to say this, Oh God, I
think that Wes did deserve a little privacy with that. Unfortunately,
no you what he did. It doesn't make anything that
he did right. But I think that some of these
(11:02):
things should be worked out behind the scenes. I know
as a viewer, I would be pissed if, like they
start filming this summer right and West and Jesse are
back at it.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
I'm like, how did I would be like, how did
we get here?
Speaker 1 (11:17):
But as like someone who does feel like people are
owed a little bit of privacy, I don't like that.
I know that Jesse says that he also got a
text from Wes that was basically a copy and paste
of what Wes said to kJ, which is insane, But
I do think that there should be a little privacy
to that.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Like, can I switch gears for a second?
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Sure?
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Do you think that at the end of the finale,
that was Amanda and Kyle leaving the show.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Absolutely, which is why they were all crying.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
I thought to me, it made sense, like, Okay, they're
leaving this house. It's probably Amanda and Kyle and Lindsay's
last summer there, which made sense as to like people
are saying, you saw when Sierra and Amanda hugged. They
were both crying and Amanda says, nice, it was nice
(12:09):
working with you.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
People are like, oh, that was so shady.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
No, it literally was like they were done, probably not
going to work together anymore.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
I was sobbing for two reasons. Two reasons.
Speaker 4 (12:20):
One, I felt personally victimized by Amanda Batula because watching
them cry together hug say I love you, and Siah
saying you're beautiful and you have a voice pouring and yeah,
and that just made me feel sick as a woman
to see that happen. Two because, no matter what, Kyle
(12:43):
and Amanda are such a root or like a root
role in this show, and I'm really sad that they're
going to be gone, and I don't I'm not here
for in the city. I'm gonna watch it, but I'm
not here for it. I don't know who any of
these people are. I don't need to know who they are.
I don't feel inclined to like to pay attention to
(13:05):
their storylines. But I obviously still want to see Kyle, Amanda,
and Lindsay. But like I'm really sad, Like I'm really
sad this is the end.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Well, the crazy thing is is that this would have
been the end of Summerhouse as we knew it anyway, That's.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
What I was gonna say, Say that West and Amanda
never did anything.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
None of that happened.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
When Sierra and West kissed, we all would have been happy. Yeah,
we all would have been so happy. And same thing
with the ending of the finale, we all would have
been so sad. Yeah, because we love these people and
we loved who they were for nine years and then
they turn around and they fucked us in the house.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Okay, I was gonna go straight into in the city,
but we also need to talk about the conversation that
Amanda and Kyle had on that stute.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
That was heartbreaking that it needed to happen.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
It did, but it hurt really bad.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
It hurt my I just wanted to scoop Kyle up
and give him like the biggest hug.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
This is sorry to say this, This is probably the
best thing that will happen for.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
Kyle because.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
We I was team for Kyle, we all were in
this season, and the things that he was saying throughout
this season really made me feel like, oh my god,
this guy is going through a lot and he is
saying the things that he's dealing with. And if this
wouldn't have happened, I don't think we.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Would have paid attention to it. And like he was
losing his shit.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
And seeing at the last party that Amanda he was
trying so hard to just hang out with his wife. Yeah,
god forbid. Yeah, and she was such a bitch. Yeah,
like she was a bitch.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
She was. But also, I mean, like not even to
her credit, we also have to realize that, like she
was fed up with him, and so like, yeah, I
don't give a fuck about you wanting to hang out
with me now, Like I don't want you to keep
apologizing to me, like I'm over you, and like I'm
leaving you years to figure it out and now I'm
just like I don't want to do it anymore. So
(15:04):
like I get her too, because like this breakup was
inevitable but like, girl, nobody told you to go do
the most.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
And she was just whimping around, whining, And it's just
it's been too long now, Yeah, like you needed to
have broken up with him or divorced him.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
She got married, Yeah, two years ago. That should have happened.
I mean, it's ridiculous, but it.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
All ties back to what Kyle said in that closet.
People weren't talking about that part.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
I agree.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
For me, I agree, and I said out loud when
I watched it, I was watching alone. I said out loud,
he's right. Yeah, he is not wrong. She is so codependent.
She's I don't want to say lazy because she does
have mental health problems that I can understand that, Yeah,
but I could see how she could be viewed as
lazy by someone who doesn't understand the mental health aspect
of it. So I think that it's hard as viewers,
(15:53):
like as a whole, to kind of gauge what she's
really capable of.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
But from what we've seen, it isn't much.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Also, okay, so we're gonna switch gears for a second
and just move on to I guess chronologically. Yeah, how
the night went when we both were watching the show
right after the season finale of Summer House.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
We now go into in the City. Now.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
Celia has said maybe five minutes ago that she doesn't
give a fuck about the city.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Don't really want to watch it, but.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
I thought it was interesting that they kicked off the
entire series with It's not technically foreshadowing, it's literally what
is going on in real time. Right Amanda and Kyle
are sitting in his apartment, their apartment.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
I don't know what it is anymore.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
I don't either talking about the big shit storm that
she's caused.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
And I thought it was insane that she.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Basically gave her like she gave herself an hour or
an excuse. She tried to use the excuse of, like, well,
you cheated on me, and also I have video of
you kissing someone, like just leave him, Like also, it
will just take Sierra out of it for a second. Right,
you are married to this man. You feel as if
(17:14):
he's cheated on you, whether you have proof or not.
You did not leave, which is your prerogative. You can
do whatever you want, but to now cheat on him
or start dating, because she's making it seem like it's
not cheating if they were they were grated. I think
it was because you're doing this with his friend.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
I also think that what do you think that it
was happening before they got something?
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Absolutely, but she she claims that it wasn't, So we
have to take that for what it is.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
We can we can well, she's a big vaut lawyer.
We know that now. But like, if it wasn't, let's
just throw that out there.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
You know.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
If it wasn't, it's still wrong.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
That was his friend and hers And like the way
that she said in their group, hug family, bitch, you
broke up the family. Even if you and Kyle had
separated and done that, the family would still be together. Yeah,
but you went and fucked West, which then fucked the
whole family.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
It's sad.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
And just the clip of I know I said that
we were onto in the city now, but just the
clip of everyone basically crying in the I feel terrible
for them because they all feel betrayed. Yes see, Yeah,
I never thought that I would feel bad for him ever. Again,
that was sad. I did feel bad for him. But
(18:28):
back into in the city, what.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
Are we saying about the fact that she stopped paying rent?
Speaker 2 (18:34):
No, I can't she stopped paying rent.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
Hey, listen, I'm not married.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
I don't know what it's like to feel like, oh,
my husband can take care of it whatever. Like, I
can't speak on married people's business like that. But for
you to stop paying rent, you're making money, and then
you know that your husband is paying what fifty thousand
dollars a month whatever debt he has for his business
(19:02):
that is technically yours, by the way, she has said
it multiple times on this show. Yep. And you don't
think that you should help, not even a little bit.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
What's also crazy to me is that when this whole
Commanda thing went down, it was revealed that she charges
a pretty obscene amount for her brand deals. Yeah, and
it's something that she is not big enough to charge
those numbers in my opinion.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
But she was about to, she was about to take off,
we know that, Yeah, it was about to.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
And charging that much and then stopping paying rent when
this man has probably got you a job, yeah, is
quite literally insane. And I just think this whole situation
is showing her true colors. And it's a little late.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Like we all loved her so much, well I did,
I really liked her. I enjoyed her.
Speaker 4 (19:58):
I thought that she was pretty relatable as someone who
also struggles with mental health, and like, I think that
she was a really relatable character. I think her Page
and Sierra, all three of them combined, was a realistic
woman who lives in New York.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
And you know, which also confuses me as to why
they weren't on the show. Like I know at this point,
Paige probably turned down being on the show, I get it,
what about Sierra didn't scream in the city Like, I
don't stand that and mea too, But like a nurse
who decides that she doesn't want to work in healthcare anymore,
(20:37):
she's living the city life. She's about to start dating.
I mean, like I felt like to me, that was
the I don't get it. I would have I would
have been glued to my seat watching that every week.
I don't understand that. Casting directors call me, yeah, if
you want somebody's input, But the star of the show,
we already know. It's not Lindsey.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Emma, yeah, my queen, Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (21:02):
And Jemma knew not to trust Amanda and that grocery
store oh yeah, oh yeah, she knew, she knew she
is her mother's daughter.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
Do you have any thoughts on anyone else on the show?
Speaker 4 (21:13):
I mean I kind of like Yvonne, Okay, I mean
I like Andrea from the past, but I also don't
really think he's entertaining enough to be a reality TV
show versonality.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
I don't know how he ended up on there also, sorry,
go ahead, I.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Don't want to know.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
I mean that was really it, Like, I have no
interest in any of these people.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
I mean, so sorry me either.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
I hope that they do like a deep dive into
Danielle's situation as season goes on. Yeah, I loved that
Lindsay was like Shady in the beginning ten out of ten.
I need to find out what month of the year
Lindsay was born because I identify she's Leo.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
Okay, Oh she is her and my sister of the
same birthday. Okay, And remember that's when Carl's brother died.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
I know, why isn't Carl on the show?
Speaker 2 (21:59):
Literally? Why isn't my king on the show?
Speaker 3 (22:01):
Literally?
Speaker 1 (22:02):
But you know what, maybe maybe that was a stipulation
for Lindsay, like I need to be away from I'm
leaving the show for a reason whatever, But I don't
see it I think that Scamanda, as you called it,
is like the thing that will make everyone watch in
the city this season.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
That's why with that, because they knew that would drive
the numbers.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
I don't see it unless they shake up the cast.
But I also felt like that with the Valley in
the beginning.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
It's giving the Valley like all those characters who we
didn't care about in the beginning, who now.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
We do, except for Janet.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
I cannot can't take, can't take, and I feel like
that's I feel like we're getting a bunch of Janets,
do you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (22:40):
Okay, yeah, and I just need to get it.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
I'm not interested, but we'll see. I'm gonna keep watching
it and maybe my mind will change.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
I hope our minds changed. I am so tapped out.
I don't care. I am ready for Love Island.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
Okay, me too, me too, me too.
Speaker 4 (22:57):
I'm ready for the back to back Reunionand I mean
