Speaker 1 (00:01):
Get your hair together.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
We're gonna start and party party.
Speaker 3 (00:05):
I'm ready to party the Elvis Duran after party.
Speaker 4 (00:10):
The party's over. Tons for the after party podcast. Ready
to go kids. Yeah, Oh, Froggy's here for the podcast.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
I love that Froggy is being stirred into the show
more and more. You're back, You're back.
Speaker 5 (00:21):
Can't get rid of me.
Speaker 6 (00:22):
I'm like a bad fungus. That's what your wife keeps saying.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Oh God, I was enjoying having you here until now. Well, anyway,
everyone else is here, A bunch of fungus, bunch of
fun guy. There's Danielle, and there's Gandhi, and there's a
Straight and eight and Sketty Scotty Beezy in the house
and Froggy. Hey, so excited about August twenty fifth here
at MetLife Stadium. I'm gonna take some friends to go
(00:49):
see Bruno Mars in concert. Oh my god, have you
ever seen Bruno Mars in concert?
Speaker 6 (00:56):
I have. I think he's one of the best concerts ever.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Even if you don't like his music, which I can't
understand how that's possible, but he puts on such a
good stage show that it's like.
Speaker 6 (01:06):
Oh my god, this is a concert.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
I don't know how he does it. I mean there's
a lot of energy on that stage. Maybe we can't
handle the truth, but he is amazing. Danielle, you've seen
Bruno Mars. Your thoughts please.
Speaker 5 (01:16):
He is a performer. He like, he doesn't just get
up there and sing like. He brings his a game
and it is a full on show. It's amazing.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
You hear about people going to see shows in Las Vegas,
and shows in Las Vegas have been going on for
years and years and years. My parents used to go
to shows in Las Vegas. They would see you know,
Tony Bennett in, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis Presley. Well, so
when Bruno Mars was doing his residency, he still is
in Las Vegas. That's the show. That's the show of
(01:48):
this this decade.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
They're saying you have to see him in concert.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
So I cannot wait to see him in August here
in New York or New Jersey. Jennifer saw him last night.
Let's see if she's still alive. Jennifer, are you still breathing?
You're still alive?
Speaker 4 (02:02):
How come you're not asleep? You were up with Bruno
Bruno all night what's your deal?
Speaker 1 (02:08):
So I'm actually at work two on four hours of sleep,
so this will be interesting today.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
Well you saw it, by the way, have you seen
him before? Had you seen him before? Last night?
Speaker 1 (02:19):
No? This was a total bucket list concert, and I
see why everyone raves about him. No, my first time.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Well, you're fresh from it. I mean you still smell
like Bruno.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
You know, And I'm okay with that. I'm okay with that.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Well, remind us while it's fresh on your mind and
in your heart, remind us about what you felt and
saw last night.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
So the energy in the venue was unprecedented, And the
thing that really stood out to me is the amount
of fun that he seemed to be having on stage.
His band is exceptional, second to none. They were having
the best time, and it just radiated out into the crowd.
(03:04):
I mean, we we can definitely, we all know he's talented,
but I after last night, I think he is so underrated,
Like we should be talking about him so much more.
He is an exceptional talent. He is a special talent.
He is incredible. He was incredible.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
Jennifer hit you hit the nail on the head head?
Is that what you hit the nail? On the head.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
But okay, even when he rolls down into his ballads,
because his ballads are so powerful. What's it like when
you're expecting energy from the stage when a ballad hits
you feel an energy there as well, right.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
But you're feeling the emotion in it too. I mean,
I couldn't even like cry because you were so emotional
and you were just so in awe at his voice
and just how smooth he is and just the range
that he has. But the emotion came through with those
ballads in such an incredible way. I Mean, we know
(04:03):
his music's fun, but man, those those love songs and
those those ballads, you know, they just they get you.
They get you right in the chest. But you can
feel it. Everyone saw it in the entire venue.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Am I the only one with goosebumps? Right now?
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Am I?
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Really?
Speaker 6 (04:16):
I think I'm gonna get tickets to one of his
shows here?
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Okay? So can I please tell you guys? Though he
did not stop moving, with the exception of those ballads
where he was on the piano plane, he moved and danced.
His band moved and danced the entire time. Two hours,
two hours. Who plays for two hours? Nowadays.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
You know what, Jennifer, He's always been like that. We
saw him in concert years ago at at the at
the Garden.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
I've seen him, I think at Radio City. He always
has that energy. And this is.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Why, in my opinion, this is why Bruno Mars has
the best, most softest ballads.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
It gives him a chance to relax during his concert.
Speaker 6 (04:55):
That makes sense.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Yeah, do you know, I know we're not we're talking
about Bruno, but you know who else I think is
incredible in concert?
Speaker 6 (05:02):
Pitbull.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
He is just so good up there. He is an entertainer.
He's all over the place. It's NonStop. I didn't understand
half of what he was singing because it was in Spanish,
but it didn't matter because he just is such a
performer that I loved.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
Every minute of it.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
That's right. Danielle wanted to know who his friend Dale
was the day. It's Dolly, you know what.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
But there is something about that kind of performer. You
can't always figure out what the secret sauce is that
makes them so dynamic, but they just they have that Jews.
Speaker 6 (05:36):
It's crazy.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yeah, I've never heard that they were wonderful.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Well so, yeah, so the romantic of course is Bruno Mars.
His latest album is something I Know, Gandhi and I
cannot stop listening to it.
Speaker 6 (05:49):
Man, I want to see Risk it All live.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
I'm so I think I'm just gonna go to the
show just for that because I love that song.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Risk it All was amazing, something serious. All of those
songs that he has that kind of have that and
vibe it just I mean, you can only imagine the energy.
But like again, the fun. They were having so much
fun and they were putting little twists on songs that
we love. The people that I were with that I
was with a few of them said I don't know
(06:16):
a lot of these new songs. Well, but I still
had so much fun. Like I loved watching it even
though I couldn't sing along with everything.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
Right there you go, Well, hearing it from you makes
us even more exciting excited about going to the show.
And thank you so much for sharing. Jennifer, And I
can't believe you have all this interview. I think you're
awake because you're still kind of vibing from last night.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
You're still tripping.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
I think, yes, I'm on a Bruno Mars high. As
we said walking to the car, Peace love and Bruno
and I've got some coffee this morning, and yes, I'm
ready to go. I'm going to ride this wave into
the day and take a long nap when I get home.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
So and look at that, and keep in mind, Jennifer
isn't like a Bruno freak. She doesn't follow him around
the country and go to all of his shows. But
listen to her. She's a little more.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Freaking out than she was two days ago after seeing
that show.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Put it on your list. Put it on the bucket list.
Put it on the bucket list, one hundred thousand percent.
It's excellent.
Speaker 6 (07:11):
Where did you see him?
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Columbus?
Speaker 2 (07:14):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Okay, hey, yes, oh iiow.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Isn't that where the university is located?
Speaker 6 (07:23):
State University?
Speaker 4 (07:24):
See you?
Speaker 6 (07:24):
Absolutely all right, there you go.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
It's all right. Stadium. It was at the stadium. It
was It just was incredible. I can't stop talking about it.
Highly recommend. He's amazing.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
Well, we're going to see it. We're going to see it.
Thanks to you.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
You nailed it in.
Speaker 3 (07:36):

have the best day ever. Go home and get some sleep.
Speaker 1 (07:39):

all amazing and you get us through the day. But
just thank you so much for calling. It was a
