Speaker 1 (00:01):
Put your hand us together and we're going to stop
and part.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
I'm ready to party.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
The Elvis ran after party. Bye, Abby, I broke me.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Sorry.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
I think she was fine actually, just like this all right?
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yeah obviously, so everybody, we've all done it doing mornings.
We've all had that day where we just slept through
the alarm. Ye. Yeah, today was Abby's turn day. And
do you want to tell everybody how many calls you
missed from your mother?
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Yeah? Forty six.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
That's a worried mom. I get it. My sister does that.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Well, my mom and I get up at the same
time every day, and so we always text each other
like good morning to check in because make sure we're
both awake. And so when I did not answer her
good morning text, she called me forty six time. I
get it.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
Wouldn't you do the same though?
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Like I have?
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I have done the same. There was one time she
didn't answer me, and I just called her over and
over and over until she finally woke up and she
was like, oh my god, thank you. I was almost late.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Like your kid does something at the same time every day,
you say aha to them every day. I mean, that's
how every true crime docuseries started.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
My mom is already crazy, so like normal things worry her.
So something that would maybe worry everyone.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Oh yeah, I have you know, we all have our well,
a lot of us have our location turned off for
each other. And my sister has my location and it
doesn't stop her from panicking. Ever day my mom has
my location, she'll call me and if I don't answer
because I'm sleeping. Yes, you know you.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Just didn't wake up.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
That's the natural causes.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
You could be done in your apartment, apartment. I need
you to be in constant contact.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Oh my god. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
The last time everybody slept through the alarm that they
missed work. I think that brain was the day that
Wax gave me the we Oh damn the lemonade. It
was lemonade, lemonade read and he said one drop and
I put two in there. I tell you what that was.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
He was gone.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I might as well have had doctor Conrad Murray.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
I'm surprised it took me this long. I'm thankful it
took me this long, and I'm thankful it wasn't that bad,
Like it could have been way worse. I could have
woken up hours later. But I woke up and I
looked at the time and it was six fifty five,
and I said, oh, this is usually the time I'm
walking in.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
I mean, I don't think it's in a bad way.
All nobody noticed.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Yeah, sure, like nothing was happening today. To me, that's great.
I love being invisible. I don't want anyone to know
that I'm here. Ever, and I was able to, like,
don't tell I was. I was able to work on
the train, so in a way, I was only like
fifteen minutes there.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
An asshole, but here comes Oh god, who on the
show would we notice least like if they were here
like me?
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Probably me, no, because well, because everything I do for
the show really unless if there's no guest on today from.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Home and I'm like sure.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Out there, yeah yeah, yeah, I say that. When I
walk by and I don't see.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
You, I'm like, oh today, I feel like I yeah,
I don't know. I guess everything I do for the
show usually happens when the show ends, because that's when
all the clips are cut and the posting begins, unless
there's a guest, but otherwise I feel I'm not really needed.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
No.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
I think it might be Josh, and only because Josh
only because Josh a lot of times comes in later.
And also when he comes in a lot of times
he stays in his studio doing his work, so we
don't even see him. Sometimes he's in there and I
don't even know he's in there.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
What Josh does is you can't really turn on creativity,
you know what I mean. So, like he'll be working
at eleven pm, he builds an open for the following day,
and then he sleeps in so whatever, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (03:49):
Yeah, I think it's Andrew, you have. The only time
we would know that he's not here is on Friday,
if the bagels don't show up. That's that's it.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
Everyone knows what a little bit late, Everyone's like, where's Andrew.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
At the amount of times I've been asked to check
Andrew's location to see where he's at. People know when
he's not here.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Not me.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
You're just being You're just being hateful because you have
no problem with and.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
I just have to say, you notice every single time
when he can't do the podcast with you. So this
is why I say, you're just being hateful.
Speaker 5 (04:20):
Well, because he never wants to do the podcast with me,
does would mean he's here?
Speaker 3 (04:23):
No, he's not.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
I will tell you. I don't think it's Andrew. Because Andrew,
if we don't have our coffee, I'm like, I get
that's irrationally angry, especially when there's days where Andrew is
supposed to becoming a myscary and then at the last
second he says, I'm taking the train in. Yeah, that
means we don't get coffee. That's what happened today.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
I like that, Yeah, I do, but I think, yeah,
but I think it's there's other reasons. I mean, Andrew
does a lot.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
I mean, up until recently, Andrew was getting Sam was
getting the coffee all the time. So I just I
don't know. I just noticed it Andrew when Andrew's got
here because I like him.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
I'm pretty sure that we realize when everybody is not here. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
everybody does something.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
I will never forget that day that I'm it was
twice I've missed my alarm And the first time was
like twenty fourteen, and my phone rings at like six
oh three, and it's scary, going, hey, buddy, that is
the worst phone call in the world to get.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Yeah, I'm like, hey, you coming in?
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, yeah, six fifteen, And I.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
Feel like it must have been a few years ago.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
You did the same thing to me.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
Yeah, you called me at five point fifty seven and
you're like, hey buddy, yeah, you coming in.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
I'm like, I remember that in your chest the worst.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
I have a recurring dream that I am late for
work and I wake up and it's light outside and
I look at my phone and none of you have
called me, and I'm pissed. I'm like, wow, nobody called one.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Hey Nate during the winter time, when he gets dark early,
you should call scary one afternoon round and if he's sleeping,
hey buddy, be coming in. Hey buddy, Yeah, that would
freak me the hell out. Is a real idea. It's
six oh four. I'm gonna call him PM on December
(06:16):
twenty fifth or whatever. Okay, well, this is Abby, So
I'm very happy that you could join us.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
Yeah, me too.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
It's what's weird is that me, Deanna, Andrew, Steph and
Ben I believe all had a conversation yesterday about this.
I was talking about me sleeping through alarms and how
I came really close to doing that one time, and
I was like, but thankfully, like I haven't done it yet.
Knock on on yeah, I didn't knock on thing.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
You just said it.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
You just said before.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Never done that.
Speaker 5 (06:44):
But the only time that I ever wasn't here was
during sandy and there was no power in the hotel. Otherwise,
I've never overslept.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
That's why I come in so much earlier than everyone,
because I'm like, somebody will notice before you actually realize
I'm late for work, and it's Garrett. Garrett's got me
a couple of times. Love you, Garrett is great.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
I do have one final quest. Was it a RESTful sleep?
Did you I slept for that?
Speaker 3 (07:05):
I don't understand. I went to bed early last night.
It's not even like I couldn't fall asleep. I fell
asleep before nine pm. It was very RESTful.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Yeah, great, I've done that.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
No, I've like snoozed it and it was going off silently,
and I don't know. Thankfully, I know that I would
never sleep in two terribly because if it had gone
on any longer, my mom would have called for a
wellness shock. Well, she would have called my roommate first
and been like can you is she alive? And then
my roomate would have woken me up. So no rest easy,
knowing that I'll never be that late. Okay, if this
(07:34):
ever happens to me again, hopefully it doesn't.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
Okay, tomorrow morning.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
At yes, I know, and I was, thank you. We'll
see after party.
