Speaker 1 (00:01):
Brooklyn Boys podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Reactions. This podcast all depends on you, baby.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Free.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
It's Brooking Boys Slice Time for episodes.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
Three sixty three and beyond. Does that sound fair? Yeah,
I mean it's not three four.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
We didn't get there yet.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
No, No, we're.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Almost but but daa two we will. So yeah, we're
on our way.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
We're well on our way.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Uh, thank you.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
This is the show about the show.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
This isn't the exact show, but you'll be hearing people
commenting from time to time or actually every comment will
be from listeners based on the last episode and then
some and they all listen to the iHeartRadio app. That's
how you that's how you leave it talk back, and
that's how you get to interact with us here on
this version of the Brooklyn Boys Slice Time. Slice Time
(01:10):
the show that was created for you, and it has
nothing to do with us. Well, it's a little to
do with us.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
We really need to pre record something scary and then
just play it.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yeah, before what you're about to hear, it's got to
be very dramatic. Though.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Maybe in the world of yeah, of listener feedback, maybe
you can get your maybe you.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
Get your shitty trashy AI singers to do something for us.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Took they don't do voiceover work. I'll get a voiceover model.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
A voice over you're about to hear is not the
Brooklyn Boys.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
All right, here we are.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
I see who's left us feedback this.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
Week Brooklyn Boys was good bed from Upstate happy and
Mary Christ install that bullshit. Brody is definitely the man
and the people Scary is a boogie bastard which is
entitled to be, you know, rocking his red bottoms and
thirty five dollars peanut butter and all that extra bullshit.
(02:05):
But again, he's more coming.
Speaker 6 (02:07):
So.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
However, a lot of us don't live that same lifestyle
and can't afford to, so Brody, even though he plays pickball,
represents us. You treat her great, but you gotta continue
to treat Robin and like a freaking queen because I'll
lose Herly hit the jackpot with that one I did.
Ninety percent of us couldn't get away with the ship
that you do in your relationship. That was a bad thing.
(02:28):
Like I said, you earn your vacation, but I mean
you're away on all your vacations. How hard would it
have been? Just to stick around a couple more days
for Robin life. Sure, just kind of consider it, you know,
if she's cool with it, and so be it. She
was mad, she deserves to be mad. But she's cool
with it.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Life to the max, because you know, one day it'll
be your last.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Yeah, you know. Robin is too bright for you, too
attractive for you, too smart for you, and too forgiving
for you. That's all I have to say all.
Speaker 5 (02:59):
That, especially going back to your anniversary when you couldn't
stay still for a couple of days. I'll be there
on the actual date. That's cool, But I'm sure it
would have meant a lot to her for you to
have just said, you know what, I'm going to stick
around for a couple of days just to be with you,
and even if you're not doing anything, just to say
(03:19):
I'm here with you for the week. No, even if
you do just little dinner in the house or Chinese
food or whatever the fuck it is. But little things
like that matter.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
I think Robin learned AI and is putting these voicemails out.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
I think Robin is behind that you're not real.
Speaker 5 (03:39):
But again, if Robin is cool with it, your relationship
is really none of our business.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
So are you to do what you do? My bro,
it's all your business, it's what we do.
Speaker 5 (03:49):
Hope you all had a great vacation, even though Brodi
didn't really go anywhere. I feel you, bro. My last
few vacations have been staycations. But glad to have it
all back. Jamie from Queen's It. You can go back
to being Jamie from Queens. You don't have to be
some bitch from Queen's again.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
That's there, you go back to Queens. Okay, scary, We'll
try to remember your name.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
But he's trying to say, is that you've beat the
dead horse.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
No, we don't need to say what he's trying to say. Well,
that's what he said, what he had to say, all right, No, No.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
I'm interpreting him. I'm not saying that I'm not commonly I.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Love I know, I don't. Yeah, So I I played
pickleball with a guy who went on vacation to Puerto
Rico last week. Are you done? No Puerto Rico. He
has not been on vacation in sixteen years, so he
(04:46):
very much enjoyed his vacation.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Good.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Yeah, I'm just saying that some people vacation. Yeah, that's correct.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
By the way, Brooklyn Boys has been from the state,
if I remember correctly, scariest little bitch on the Big Show.
Know you don't like us talking about the Big Show, Brody,
but this is in your defense. Brody. You were talking
about paper manus sitting right next to you when you
guys went out to dinner or something like that, and
Scary agreed with you. Put on the Big Show. Scary
brought it up and he put hisself in a situation
(05:16):
about an event he went to with straight Nate and
they sat next to each other, and he said, yeah,
I been from a state continuation. Yeah, so Scary on
his around and road segondent. He put hisself in a
situation saying that he sat next to straight Nate at
an event they went to. But he said that Brody
(05:36):
said that they were wrong for that, that they made
it seem like as if they're on a dates and
they should have sat across from each other. But he
didn't mention that he actually agreed with him. He just
threw Rody under the bus. If I remember that correctly,
that's how it went. So, yeah, I I apologize.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
No, Brody did disagree. Brody did feel like it was
on a date. But Elvis asked. Elvis asked, why when
I say, because I said that Nate and I were
sitting adjacent to each other because we were in a
corner booth. I said, this happened with on the Brook
and Boys podcast. Oh, corner booth is different.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Corner booth is different because one side of the booth
is open toning room. You can't sit across. Well you can. No, No,
in this case, you could have, but we chose both.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
We both wanted our asses on a banquette like we
both chose comfort because it was an L.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
See the L the bank.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
If it's a you, if it's a U shape, yeah,
then you could go across across. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
No, no, I'm not I'm not pulling no punches here.
I did say that. I said punches, Yeah, Brody said.
Brodie said, you know, it's it's like you're on a
date unless you sit across from the person.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
And that's when Elvis said, I was homophobic. How'd that go?
Speaker 7 (06:46):
No?
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Nothing, He didn't come an either way. Oh, okay, I
didn't have time to get into it. It was and
around the room segment. It's thirty to forty five seconds long.
I get it, but it's not it's not a forum
for me to have as a hundred long conversation.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Like you should have brought it up. You should have
brought it up as a full blown topic. And what
a great way you should have said.
Speaker 8 (07:06):
You know.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
On the Brooklyn Boys podcast, Brody said as that you shouldn't.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
Go to be doing that always promoting. We're always going
to always be promoting. That's a always abbe always be promoting.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Okay, yeah, this is MJ from MJ.
Speaker 9 (07:18):
I am commenting on the.
Speaker 10 (07:21):
Louder Well alone again?
Speaker 9 (07:24):
You left Robin alone again? Yes, I just was a
good option.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
She could have brought her stuff to the.
Speaker 9 (07:30):
Hotel, but maybe there wasn't going to be Wi.
Speaker 6 (07:32):
Fi for her laptop.
Speaker 11 (07:34):
But no, you could have thought.
Speaker 9 (07:35):
Her something else. She could have cleaned your apartment. Why,
I know you have a cleaner, but you could have
like rearranged.
Speaker 12 (07:40):
A clause or or something.
Speaker 13 (07:42):
Wait for her.
Speaker 9 (07:42):
You got so many big I don't blame her for
being upset. I think this was episode grade sixty two.
I would be pissed. I understand she doesn't have as
many months vacation as you co wait as well, and
I know you have those options. But once again, you
could have gone to something else. She had to fly
(08:05):
by herself. Shame on, you don't.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Play the next talk back?
Speaker 14 (08:09):
Jo, I'm out.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Okay, she's out. Great talkback from MJ from NJ. Now
does she is? She don't say, don't don't look? Will
she be the next talkback repeating everything she just said? Yes, okay,
play the next talkback?
Speaker 10 (08:28):
All right, this is MJ from the NJ.
Speaker 8 (08:30):
And finally finished watching I mean listening to the three
sixty two. So last thing was about the aeroplane thing
and Gary had a switch, but he didn't have to
chose to switch. They gave him an upgraded and then
they you know, bull shooted him and lied to him
and did all that kind of crap. You free to
begin with, I understand, but I know he had time
(08:56):
and aggravation that was met again, uh, I mean, like
I said, it was free to begin with. I Oh,
I don't know. I probably I hate No. I probably
would have just took it and just and left it
at Dad. I know you waste your time to do it,
but I kind of agree on scary on this one.
(09:18):
Just leave it alone. I know I've gone through things
like this and it's not worth it.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
I would just leave it. Yeah, gots you fifteen hundred,
all right, it's always worth it.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
Brooklyn Boys been from up state. If that went through
just now, I apologize. It's a whole bunch of noise. Anyway,
listening to this slice time the last one and scarletroon
New Jersey you just mentioned why isn't the Brooklyn Boys
on the Elvis Ran network. I know it's not any
of you guys fault, but why the fuck do we
need eighteen clips of shit that we don't care about?
And the Brooklyn Boy's not there? I want Elvis Ran
(09:52):
to get all this money. Love the guy, but what
the fuck nobody cares about a bitch Bob.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
Let's not diss podcast on the Elvis Elvis Durrant Show Network.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
But we should be. We are working on it.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
We're working on it.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Yeah, Scary and Brodie appreciate the love. God by good
misshul will you okay? Thank you?
Speaker 15 (10:16):
Brooklyn boyd.
Speaker 10 (10:17):
It's DP from.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
By the way, that was left randomly at two fifteen
in the morning.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
I love how somebody just decided I'm gonna I'm gonna
leave a talk back for the brooking boys.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
It's not gonna really make much sense, but I love it.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
I love it. I love the random comments done the leaf.
It comes mister background noise.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Borklyn Boyd. It's DP from NC here with the background
noise and ship.
Speaker 11 (10:39):
I want to know when the funk that I've become
CJ because the last lifetime I was being called CJ
and being referred to as CJ to the entire episode.
Speaker 14 (10:50):
So I mean, I'm cool having.
Speaker 10 (10:52):
A different personalities or whatever, but I mean.
Speaker 14 (10:54):
I'm not not schizophrenic.
Speaker 16 (10:56):
EC from NC come on now, goding's scary talking about
the swingers in the villages doing that.
Speaker 17 (11:07):
So long YouTube channel called Pier Something by Pier something
ellow and he went to the villagers to interviewed a
couple there.
Speaker 14 (11:16):
It's a kids in the house I think or something,
uh and all that.
Speaker 18 (11:19):
But they said that that rumor is kind of false, like, yes,
they exist, but it's like one area of the villages
and it's not a big one.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
So we're talking about the I guess the Palm Coast
of Florida. Somewhere in Florida where there's a there's a
place called the Villages, which is a senior community where
there's a lot of swinging going on. And apparently if
you put a pineapple upside down outside that means you
want to swing. And it's all like it's a fifty
five and over community. And but I'm hearing from several
(11:48):
people all the rumors are true that I hear. You know,
we talked about this on the air once on the
Big Show, and we had it was a big call
in topic. So I don't know, flo, I don't know, well, uh,
he's continuing along.
Speaker 14 (12:06):
But they said that it doesn't exist.
Speaker 18 (12:08):
But it's kind of more of a rumor that I
got famous because it made them the villages on the map.
Basically they got them. It gave them exposure. Yeah, so
definitely exists.
Speaker 17 (12:22):
There, but definitely not the biggest people think. If you
watch the documentary, you're pretty much do what.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Kind of exposure we're talking about it?
Speaker 4 (12:27):
And by the way, if it's shined a light on that,
don't you think it would attract more people that are
into that.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
I would say yes, I think more people move there
because of it.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Hey, Brock, is Jamie from Queen's here.
Speaker 19 (12:41):
You guys are talking about bad customer service, the gum
chewing cashiers are annoying, and that lollipop sucking cashiers helps annoying.
But I know a type of cashier that's even worse
than that. The cashiers who were glued to their phones.
That is so annoying.
Speaker 20 (12:56):
There is a cashier at a local grocery store who
I avoid like the plague because of that. And I'll
tell you why my next hak pack head.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Let's go on.
Speaker 15 (13:08):
He said it on the most time.
Speaker 12 (13:10):
Yes, Sara Rebarbarino. Whoa you know, Brodie, I'm gonna have
to agree with you.
Speaker 15 (13:15):
This old scooty, you know, he is a real sucker,
is he is?
Speaker 12 (13:19):
You know, First he's buying the reds hold squeaky shoes
off the clear and track. Now he's buying cars up
the clearance wreck.
Speaker 15 (13:28):
He let ain't nothing, you know. But I agree with you,
you know because uh.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
All right, that was not a clearance rack car. Let's
let's clear the air on this left over in the showroom.
Speaker 12 (13:40):
I used to work get a new car dealership, you know,
and as far I can remember, the new year model
vehicles would come out mid year of the previous year,
uh you know, around June. So if that's the case,
that new vehicle that old scooty gots suckered into the
(14:00):
has been sitting there for over six months.
Speaker 15 (14:03):
Seven. I guess it hasn't moved. Now, do you not
think bulls? That's bullshit.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
I was at twenty six and I bought it at
the beginning of twenty six.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
That Oney six is come out in September. September, come
out in twenty six. It all depends on the car
company and the model. He told me that car was
not going to be on that lot by the end
of the weekend if I didn't take it, Yeah, because
they were gonna sell it and for junk a scrap, Jamis.
Speaker 19 (14:31):
And quets again.
Speaker 20 (14:32):
So a couple of years ago, I had to get
six stitches in my finger. My finger was wrapped with
bright white gauze held together with surgical tape, so looking
at it, clearly there's some kind of injury. So I
go grocery shopping and the cashier doesn't bother helping me
with anything, doesn't help me bag the groceries, doesn't help
me put the bags in the cart.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
She's just staring at her phone.
Speaker 20 (14:55):
And I had to do everything with my one non
dominant hand to make sure I don't pull a stitch.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
You know what curses curses on the cashiers, especially the
ones on their phone.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
All right, it be better. I'm sure we got more
trucker coming up right after this too.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
Sear and Rody, All right, now he was truckers next.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
I'm gonna assume they coordinated and alternated.
Speaker 15 (15:19):
I don't know how many.
Speaker 12 (15:21):
People go in and out of these dealerships on a
daily basis. I'm thinking hundreds. I don't know how could
be wrong, but that would mean that thousands of people
have seen this vehicle. And the Brooklyn grade did not
catch your eye.
Speaker 15 (15:35):
Nobody liked it.
Speaker 12 (15:37):
But along comes old Boogie Colorble Scooted Do Do, and
then old Tyrone's over.
Speaker 15 (15:43):
There with a suit and a tie.
Speaker 12 (15:45):
And then Scooty feels sorry for him and he buys
the car off the clear clear A real sucker. I'll
tell you what. But you know, there's one question that
we must ask, and I'm pretty sure you did, but
I still got to ask.
Speaker 15 (15:59):
Didn't you get the terre paggage?
Speaker 12 (16:01):
Then you get the car's been sitting there for over
seven months, all the weight to the vehicles, sitting on
both tires. You're gonna need the Terre package and don't
forget to call your old buddy on the fat bed
truck so they can ship it over to west Chester already.
Speaker 15 (16:17):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
I sure did get the tire package. It's a run flats,
so and it's worth it. It's I live in pothole Riddle,
Jersey City.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
I can't you know. It's like like war torn Iraq
at this point, you know, is it even more torn anymore?
Speaker 6 (16:34):
No?
Speaker 2 (16:34):
That was years ago.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
But anyways, it's probably a little torn still.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
It's the score.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
It's just you cannot travel on these roads and not
get a flat. It will pay itself off after the
first couple of flats, all right, and in run flat
you can't patch up, all right?
Speaker 1 (16:49):
All right?
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Moving on, I don't want to get into this debate again.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
By the way, don't pick on Scary and his tires
before someone claims you're hoping his car breaks up.
Speaker 10 (17:00):
Hi, this is mish from upstate.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
Two things.
Speaker 21 (17:03):
First of all, I have to say, when Brody you
were telling Scary to go get his toothpaste, I really
thought it was just going to be to prove that
he had a bougie brand of toothpaste when the rest
of us were using Crest, Colgate whatever. So when he
came back and it was he definitely delivered on that.
Speaker 5 (17:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 21 (17:20):
Second thing being on the cashier at Staples sucking on
a lollipop. I kind of have that a little bit beat.
So anyway, the cashier at Staples sucking the lollipop. I
am a foster parent and several years ago some of
the foster children I had got a new caseworker from
the county and I met her at court for the
(17:40):
first time. And we met at the court office in
June for a court hearing in front of a judge,
and she was sucking on a candy cane the entire
time and had like a sharp, pointy like weapon in
the court room.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
So unprofessional.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
That's hilarious.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
That's terrible. Yeah, it's great, right and terrible at the
same time.
Speaker 9 (18:01):
Hey, but good boys.
Speaker 22 (18:02):
Jamie from Queen's Again Scary proved he really is a man.
Speaker 14 (18:05):
Of the people.
Speaker 22 (18:07):
He spent all that money to have the bedroom of
his apartment painted that lovely earth tone shade of scam
bony basement white for the new people who will be
moving into that apartment after he moves out.
Speaker 20 (18:23):
That's right, I mean, that's so generous, scary. What a
nice person spend all that money to paint the room
for them.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
Thank you, Jamie.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
I'm taking that as a compliment all the way, all
the way to the bank.
Speaker 11 (18:35):
Brody and scary, never scary and brody. It's well from CTT.
First off, I just want to get out the way, like,
come ah, dudes, I've said this before, Can you guys
please put a fucking cap on the talkbacks? Man?
Speaker 10 (18:50):
Like three maximum?
Speaker 11 (18:52):
I mean, the first three four is funny, but once
it starts getting into six seven A, it's like, come ah, dude,
fucking move on. Slices annoying, like I don't care who
is doing to talk about it on you.
Speaker 15 (19:05):
Hey god, it's me again, you know, the old cowboy trucker.
Speaker 12 (19:08):
One more time speak out, you know, mister d P
from I surely do apology from the butt on my heart.
Speaker 15 (19:17):
I had no idea that your birthday had.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
Passed in December.
Speaker 12 (19:20):
If I would have known, I would have surely sent
you a happy belated birthday shout out there. But as
you well know, old man uh brody there. You know,
mister kermudging there doesn't want any more shout outs, so
I can't do it okay and scary.
Speaker 11 (19:35):
My boy card plays definitely had your number, man, I
guess it's true what P. T. Barnham said. They really
are born. Every minute they saw you coming, man, they
definitely worked you.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
Over like no, they did.
Speaker 10 (19:50):
Hey boy, you are extremely colored.
Speaker 15 (19:52):
Boy.
Speaker 10 (19:52):
If anything sounds remotely convincing, you are way in anything.
I want to thanks for having an uber pick me
up at that home depot.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
The uber. Oh what about it? Oh that's a different will.
Speaker 11 (20:09):
Yeah, that driver was a dick, he was, but whatever,
he left me at home depot. You had an uber
come get me and we had a good time. Right,
That's right, That's all that matters. Maybe this is just me,
but that's wilfrom JC.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (20:24):
I don't really give a fuck or care what the
other person on the other side of the counter is doing.
Like I don't care, just wring my shit up and
I want to go. I don't care for a fuck
what you're doing, all right, I just want to get
my shit in. Go exactly shit him in and hold on.
Speaker 12 (20:37):
I say, you know who we're talking about here, We're
talking about the cowboy Tucker. He don't get a shit,
So you know what, happy belated birthday, mister d P
from Enci. Hope you hit a lot of doctor peppers
on your birthday and you had a great date. I'll
see you later, Bro, will be expecting your tuckbecks there.
Speaker 15 (20:55):
And then go ahead and do the noise. We like
the noise. I like the noise. It adds to the
whole talkback thing. It's your signature.
Speaker 12 (21:03):
Man.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
Come on now, slices are out of sick.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
Today we got you know, we got like competing back
and forth, back and alternating. Yeah, they didn't coordinate, or
did they or maybe they did just to throw us off.
Speaker 15 (21:16):
Hey god, it's me again, Part seven.
Speaker 14 (21:18):
Uh.
Speaker 15 (21:18):
You know, I'm usually not much of a flip flopper.
You know, I stick to my guns.
Speaker 12 (21:23):
But this time I'm gonna have to flip flop because, uh,
you know concerning Scooty leaving his girl behind for warmer climates.
Speaker 15 (21:31):
Because about six years ago, we had.
Speaker 12 (21:33):
A similar situation here in Dixas. We got this killer
winter storm, you know, and we're not near enough for
this stuff. People were without electricity for weeks at a time.
It was bad, I tell you what. Uh, And we
had this politician. You know, I ain't gonna s hand
any names, but they call him can Kun Cruise. Actually
his name is not Cruise, it's Excrewis, but he just
(21:56):
makes it sound white that way.
Speaker 15 (21:57):
They don't ask for his papers.
Speaker 12 (21:59):
I guess what a anyway, he was trying to get
to warmer climates, just like you. He didn't care about
his constituents, just that you didn't care about driving there. Yeah.
Speaker 15 (22:15):
Yeah, And I know you say that she could.
Speaker 12 (22:17):
Have gone with you and worked by the fool remotely,
you know, but you don't know, you know what all
her job involves.
Speaker 5 (22:24):
You know.
Speaker 15 (22:24):
Apparently she's a very.
Speaker 12 (22:25):
Responsible person, you know, and she wanted to stay behind
and make sure her job was done properly, because what
if she would have lost her signal roller and couldn't
work on her computer, her job wouldn't have been done right.
And if she was here close by and something happened
with a computer, sit cowboy truck here Part ten.
Speaker 23 (22:43):
You know.
Speaker 12 (22:44):
The bottom line is that, in my opinion, I think
it did the wrong thing. You know, you could have
stayed back with her and tucked it out with her,
and then when her job was done on Earth and
she could have gone with you, nice and tranquin, she
would have been sure that her job was done.
Speaker 15 (23:01):
But that's why I'm gonna start calling you from now on.
Your new name is Sarah Sota Scootie. What's going on there,
mister Sarah Soda scooting Who.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
I would think South So Flow so Flow Jones might
be better.
Speaker 23 (23:18):
Hey, Brody and Gary Kelly from Long Island here. Fine
that you mentioned Arios from bay Ridge. Let was just
talking about that place with my husband, how much we
missed that place as we used to go there.
Speaker 15 (23:28):
Love that.
Speaker 23 (23:28):
That was the time when we first started dating, and
then we would talk about how the chef left there
to open up another restaurant in Bay Ridge.
Speaker 3 (23:36):
So I guess now he's in Florida.
Speaker 23 (23:38):
That's about I feel like when I go to Florida
and Network got I go check it out?
Speaker 4 (23:43):
All right?
Speaker 1 (23:44):
Definitely you must is an accent from the neighborhood. Love that,
Brooklyn boys. Michael from Sullivan County, New York. Hey, Hey,
the towothpaste thing there, Brody, listening to the podcast. I
think it's because things are printed left to right. Maybe
that's why they printed left to right on the tubes.
Speaker 24 (24:02):
I never thought about it, so you brought it up
and Uh, maybe Scary has that bougie toothpaste that automatically
flips when he puts it in his hands.
Speaker 10 (24:10):
I don't know, kind of like his car. I think
you're right about him being set up.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
But whatever, No.
Speaker 15 (24:19):
Originally Jersey rumors.
Speaker 18 (24:20):
Brody, I know you don't smoke, but the toothpaste conversation
reminded me totally of a Gandhi High conversation.
Speaker 10 (24:29):
But it cracked me up.
Speaker 5 (24:31):
Yeah, Plice for life.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
One of those things that you notice only when you're
like floating on clad nine or feel like tripping on
some shrooms.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Now I notice things because I'm observing.
Speaker 25 (24:41):
Welcome back here, and I get a Brodium'm talking about
you're talking about the toothpaste and the ketchup. I don't
find those to be the same thing. The ketchup bottle,
it's like that on display. Usually toothpaste you have it,
you know it's in a box or laying down, it's not.
But the ketchup that's the right side up. So of
(25:03):
course they're going to turn the label. The toothpaste doesn't
sit on your table or on your counter, because if
it did, then the label should be vertical. It has
nothing to do with how you squeeze it out. But
to make a difference how you squeeze it out, I'm
a writy. I use my left hand to squeeze it.
I got to look at the thing to see how
it's writing on it. Taken notice of that, but uh yeah,
(25:28):
I don't think that's relevant at all to the direction
of it.
Speaker 15 (25:32):
It's usually I would assume.
Speaker 4 (25:33):
Well, maybe the best thing to do is to print
it twice on the label, once upside down and once
right side up, so this way you could face it
in the direction that you want.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
No, because the back has other stuff on it.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
Oh well, I'm sorry. I can't solve all the problems.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
Unless you made the logo smaller, in which case, you know,
make it, make it twice.
Speaker 25 (25:54):
No, you know I would have left. The direction of
the writing has to do more with how you read
to right, right to left or whatever it is.
Speaker 10 (26:02):
Uh, not so much.
Speaker 25 (26:04):
Yes, that's my point. How you squeeze it out. You're
not reading it while you squeeze it out. This covering
most of it. I mean, how small are your hands?
If you can read the two mine, I can you
know cover it all?
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Freaking issue? I think this one, this was definitely an issue.
It's it's lightening up Twitter these days, trending topic for
a week, Brody.
Speaker 25 (26:25):
I would love to buy some of those earbuds that
that translate in real time to hear what the Uber
drivers or the nail text at my wife's nail salon
or whatever it is. I'd love to hear the ship
that they're talking about us, because you know they are,
of course they are.
Speaker 10 (26:41):
I mean, fuck Uber and all that.
Speaker 25 (26:43):
I used to drive for Uber. I hated it, but it's, uh,
get funck that man, even the Uber eats and all that.
You spend all this fucking money. Hey, you spend all
this fucking money with Uber eats.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
Yep.
Speaker 25 (26:57):
And then half the time they don't get the order
for I know that's on the restaurant or the guy
forgets to take the drinks or whatever it is, and
there's no there's nothing you can do about it. And
it's not like you just called the restaurant and say, oh,
you fucked up my order. They're like, oh, we can't
do nothing. It's over each we can't even refund you.
It's it's such bullshit. Well, fighting with them is horrible,
(27:19):
it is.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
But I use them all the time.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
And that's where all my salary goes, if it's not
going to church or our presence for my girlfriend. Bribe
the bribery, all right, continuing along, Why is there a
question mark here next to this one? Not available for playback?
That's a new one, all right? Sorry?
Speaker 26 (27:41):
Jimmy carresta Bacon from Sarasota, Florida. Scary Brot is correct.
Between September and August is when the new martitors come out.
If you had waited six more months, you'd have at
a twenty twenty seven BMW. That one was also test driven.
I'm going to ask you with four miles. Yeah, I'm
also a BMW to drive a drive a twenty twenty
(28:01):
three G eighty comp.
Speaker 5 (28:02):
Okay, show me.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
All the times you know?
Speaker 4 (28:07):
I heard that the convertibles in the VMW BMW world
they come out more toward October November. I'm just saying,
I don't know that that car was released in August. Brody,
maybe you're a car guy.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
I'm a car fan. Let me look it up.
Speaker 27 (28:22):
Hold a Brooklyn boys als from Philly.
Speaker 14 (28:24):
I usually agree with Brody, but in the topic of Scary's.
Speaker 27 (28:28):
Car, I looked it up. I think the color is nice.
I think it's a really nice car. Thank you, And
it's scary lights is scary lights. I do cares what
the dealership's motives were. Congratulations on your new car.
Speaker 28 (28:41):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (28:42):
The first slice to congratulate me and not rip me
for a choice I made.
Speaker 10 (28:48):
Michael for Selvan County again, brody and scary. Hey, I
think she, by the way, just became my favorite Slice.
Speaker 24 (28:54):
I think he just thought everybody with his last four
talkbacks and uh, I heard of leave talkbacks and let's
into the show religiously.
Speaker 10 (29:01):
But man, that's just crazy.
Speaker 14 (29:04):
And scary.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
You do drop a lot of names for a lot
of shit.
Speaker 10 (29:08):
But whatever, Man, that's the business you're in.
Speaker 4 (29:09):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
And Brodie still is the man of the people, that's right.
Speaker 10 (29:15):
But that's all cool.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
Well, I disagree with you on that, but I agree
with you. Yeah, and I do drop a lot of names,
and it's all good. Lose weightnow, dot Co. That's lose
weight now, dot Co.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
All right, blah blah blah blah blah.
Speaker 10 (29:29):
The Brooklyn Boys Podcast.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
We will be right back.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
All right, let's do another shet of of positive talkbacks.
Speaker 4 (29:37):
What do you think they're brody?
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Yeah, fun and positive love that you go.
Speaker 28 (29:43):
Hey, look good, what's going on? This is the You're
from California, scary, you know. Man, don't worry what Brodie's
hands or anybody else.
Speaker 8 (29:54):
Man.
Speaker 15 (29:54):
You you know you got a good deal there. Man,
you should be glad about yourself. Man, happy with you?
Speaker 14 (30:00):
Man?
Speaker 28 (30:01):
Uh and uh, you know you got a good deal
and and it makes you happy. That's all that matters,
you know. So you know, just be on the highwayman,
let the top down.
Speaker 4 (30:12):
And uh yeah, he continue, I think he does.
Speaker 15 (30:18):
Yeah, man, and turn up in the radio. You don't
turn up the radio. Yeah yeah.
Speaker 24 (30:24):
Man.
Speaker 28 (30:24):
Let the wind float through your hair, man, let your
scarf fly back like that, you know, and enjoy your car.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
Mann counts.
Speaker 15 (30:33):
Okay, you're number one, remember, take care of you. Okay,
but man, that's a great color.
Speaker 7 (30:39):
Man.
Speaker 15 (30:39):
But I'll tell you the truth.
Speaker 11 (30:40):
Man.
Speaker 15 (30:41):
To me, it looks more like palm springspewter. Oh well, ok.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
Bye, all right, of course I had to guess I
would say angels car bounces.
Speaker 4 (30:51):
Yeah he's got hydraulics for sure.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
But yeah, thank you.
Speaker 4 (30:54):
Yes, I am very happy in it despite what Brody things.
Speaker 29 (30:58):
That's all right, Hey, Brooklyn boys is Maria from Union City.
First off, congrat's scary on your new car, on your
off white car.
Speaker 28 (31:08):
Very nice.
Speaker 29 (31:08):
I had to go on Google, Brooklyn Gray. Also, they
were totally prepared to sell you a car. That's what
always happens. You should know this by now. Anytime you
go in for service, they are ready with a car
for you. Happens all the time. You should know that
by now.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
Scary love y'all.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
I know well eligond I would have had to turn
in the blue Beamer, you know, sooner than sooner or later.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
Anyway, it was coming up to the end of the
lease anyway, so it was time. It was time to
go shopping.
Speaker 29 (31:38):
Hay Brooklyn boys. Mary Again, in regards to what Brody
was saying with the toothpaste, I never noticed that. I
had to go into the bathroom to realize this. And Brody,
it doesn't matter. You already know it's Colgate or Crest
or whatever. I never noticed until today. These are the
(31:58):
things you help us notice, the things that don't really matter.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
Thank you, Brody. What would we do without you? That's sarcasm.
They're very welcome some sarcasm. I help you notice useless things.
Speaker 13 (32:09):
Hi, Hey, Brooklam boys. Sarah from Hoppack on New Jersey here,
long time listener, first time talkbacker listening to episode Tuck
and Suck, and I had to say, I was really
grossed out listening to you talk about Brody the cashier
chewing gum. I've worked at Shop Right for over twenty
years and it was part of our training when I
(32:33):
worked on the front end to not chew gum while
checking out. Sarah from Hapaka again, to not check out
people while chewing gum, because as you chew, you're actually spitting,
and for food safety standards, it is against everything that
(32:53):
you're supposed to do when you're dealing with anyone's food,
or when you're dealing with anything of anybodies and particularly
so I just wanted to comment on that and say
that was gross and your cashier should not have been
doing that.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
But you know, you take the help when you can
get it these days, because most people don't want to
work to begin with.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
So yeah, but you can tell people not that you're
going or have a lollipopping your mouth. That's not difficult,
I know, but the quality has gone down, Let's face it,
I don't know about that.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
These kids today dak dammit, Hi is.
Speaker 13 (33:24):
This Sarah from hepaka on calling again? It really is
like earlier and I completely lost my opportunity to tell
you guys how much I love you and how awesome
I think you are and how helpful your podcast has
been and just getting me through days that I didn't
think i'd be able to get through. So thank you
for what you do and keep up the also work well.
Speaker 1 (33:44):
Thank you, and we're glad that we could be here
for you. And I got to find a podcast that
helps get me through the days other than this.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
One, Sarah, we appreciate that, love that kind of a feedback.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
It's amazing.
Speaker 4 (33:55):
I love the I love it when they we just
they're the first time that they're participating, but they've been
listening forever.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
Love hearing new.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
Voices, not that I don't like the old voices.
Speaker 29 (34:07):
Hey Brooklyn boys, Maria Frenian City again. I just finished
listening to the latest episode, And congratulations Scary on your
possible new apartment. Are you still in Jersey City? Please
don't leave because we like you here. I know you're
from Brooklyn and it makes sense that you go to
New York, but you've been here just stay here.
Speaker 2 (34:29):
I'm going on.
Speaker 29 (34:30):
I just assume you're leaving because people leave.
Speaker 10 (34:33):
No love, y'all.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
Nope, nope, just expanding a stone's throw, as.
Speaker 14 (34:39):
They say, Hey, Brooklyn Boys, Johnson CT long hiatus. I know, Periyo.
Speaker 6 (34:45):
I got to know what you're thinking when you take
these GLP ones where you're saying, oh, I would rather
inject myself with a theorem of unknown long term effacts
than actually do what people have been doing for all
of human history and working out and eating less than
eating less calories than.
Speaker 14 (35:03):
They burn in order to get back in shape. Where
does that sound better to you?
Speaker 4 (35:08):
Well, I mean I am going to continue at the gym,
and I am gonna try and do a modified version
of that fat loss program, which I've already employed.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Both of those things. I've been going to the gym
four or five days a week. None of that will change.
I just kind of need in my mind. I need
a little headstart.
Speaker 4 (35:28):
I need to get back. I need to drop that weight.
And I don't think you can outrun a bad diet.
Speaker 10 (35:35):
Now.
Speaker 4 (35:35):
I know he's telling you me to put it myself
in a calorie deficit. That's that's harder to do when
you know, you know, you have the lifestyle and you
don't want to well. I mean, for instance, we're headed
on a cruise this weekend with the Big Show with
some listeners on a come along cruise to the Bahamas
on Norwegian Joy, and I gotta tell you, I'm gonna
(35:56):
be eating, I'm gonna drinking, ied, socializing, and I will
be back in the gym when you know, when the
weekend's done.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
But you can't, you know, especially the older you get.
It's harder. It's easier said than done.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
So I want to try this.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
It's not gonna be the the eternal. This is how
I'm doing things from now on, and I'm not gonna
be doing this the rest of my life. I just
want to be able to get, you know, drop a
couple of lbs and keep it that way if I could,
you know, And and but I'm gonna continue. That may
come to an end, but I will continue with the
(36:32):
relatively better diet and exercise because that.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Is the one thing I've never done to this point.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
Look, if it was so easy for humanity to just
say I'm gonna lose weight, I'm gonna work out need better,
it would be no large people in the world. Correct,
But there's large people in the world because not everyone
can do that. And if this offers health, hope, never mind,
you're gonna say, well taking a short cut whatever. If
this makes you a healthier person because it helps you
(36:59):
control your Wait, it's not I'm not a doctor, per se.
It's it's curbing your appetite. That's right, it's an appetite.
So that's what this does. It's not speeding up your
metabolism and hurting your heart. It's it's helping you curb
how much you eat. So that's scary. We'll eat less
(37:19):
less of cake, even though he's going to eat pieces
of cake.
Speaker 4 (37:22):
Correct, all right, moving he can do.
Speaker 6 (37:25):
You've already been working out multiple days a week, which
is good for you.
Speaker 14 (37:29):
That's awesome.
Speaker 6 (37:30):
And you clearly have the ability to cut foods out
of your diet for an undefined amount of time.
Speaker 27 (37:37):
Fair.
Speaker 6 (37:38):
Why not just work on self control as opposed to
just potentially screwing yourself over later in life? Why would
an injection seem like a viable option to you?
Speaker 1 (37:49):
Why doesn't everyone who smoke quit smoking immediately and use
self control? Why doesn't everyone who drinks stop drinking? Why
doesn't anyone who uses a iccotine patch on their arm
to help them stop smoking, not use the patch and
just stop smoking. Because people need help. We're an imperfect humanity,
We're imperfect race of creature, and we do the best
(38:12):
we can. Some people take pills for their hair boulding.
Some people get breast in plants, some people get plastic surgery.
People do everything they can to improve their lives the
way they can. And if Scary can make himself healthier,
because he has not been able to do it always
consistently the way he normally does. For all you people
that always tell me I'm bashing Scary, I am defending Scary.
(38:34):
He's going to try something new, and if it helps
him be a healthier person and live longer, I'm all
for it. Would I like to see him eat a
little less than he does a little healthier. Sure, and
maybe he will when he starts feeling good about himself,
But right now, this is what he's gonna do. Lawyer, you,
my attorney, you might have everything.
Speaker 14 (38:53):
No, I.
Speaker 1 (38:55):
Think this is probably better than some of the other
things you've tried over the years, and I'm hoping, but
hopefully you have good success.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
Some people would would argue that, but we'll say.
Speaker 6 (39:03):
We'll say, I understand the appeal of a shortcut and
the fact that you can just go ahead and stand
a shortection and you don't have to worry about it.
Speaker 14 (39:12):
But as soon as you stop taking that injection, unless
you plan on being medicated with this for life, that's
not true.
Speaker 6 (39:18):
Your body is probably going to be screwed up or
it's going to have an adverse side effect that you're
not going to like, which is getting bad again.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
Well, you know, also with a transeeppetide, it's going to
help me with my sleep apnea allegedly because I'll be
losing some weight on it. And you know, people have
a lot of people that do sleep tests. They get
prescribed zep bound which is a trzepetide, and it works
for them. And so you know, you just decide do
(39:52):
you want to die in your sleep from stopping breathing.
I mean, you know, you pick your poison here, and
this is this is preventative in my case. You know,
I don't think he's poisonous. Check to the continue back
to the continuing along, all right, but I do appreciate you,
uh I's looking out for it. Yeah, No, no, absolutely,
(40:14):
thank you for the constructive Scary dies you are right.
Speaker 5 (40:17):
Give you.
Speaker 14 (40:21):
Again. Yeah, so many good topics. As for the vacation
for Scary and leaving Robin behind, I agree with Scary.
Speaker 6 (40:30):
I think that if if Robin had the ability to
be remote, she should have gone on that gun with
Scary on the plane. And that's her problem if they were.
If you were married, Scary, I'd say, that's a completely
different situation. That you guys are noncommittal for a reason.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
That is correct. That's why. That is why I am
able to get away with this.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
They all committal. Let's let's no, no, no.
Speaker 4 (40:52):
He's talking about living in the same house and having
the sacrifice day in and day out like a married
couple does.
Speaker 1 (40:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (41:00):
With that being said, Jerry gives Brody your merse.
Speaker 6 (41:04):
I mean, my god, Brody, come on sit in her
apartment and cuddle and wait for her to come home
so he can cuddle her. No guy in the history
of guys with a man card whatever say that I
love my wife to death. I would never just be like,
you know, I'm gonna stay home tonight, onion, Let's just
cuddle up with a good book.
Speaker 14 (41:24):
Come on, take that merse and wear it around your neck.
Speaker 1 (41:29):
Well, Scary is laughing, But in essence, what John is
saying is the merse is a sign of anti manhood.
Speaker 10 (41:40):
You merse.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
Okay, First of all, I didn't want to be disrespectful
and tell Scary to wait till she comes home and
bang her from behind. What I was saying was cuddle
with her, because that's a polite way of saying the
other thing. However, that being said, I would say, some
of the best times of my life we're cuddling with
my wife on the couch watching television. So uh, if
(42:06):
I have to wear immerse to admit that, then I'll
wear AMers to admit that.
Speaker 2 (42:09):
Right, you can wear it as an albatross around your neck.
Speaker 15 (42:12):
Scary and body never bote in Scary see from.
Speaker 10 (42:15):
The box over there.
Speaker 30 (42:16):
Oh my god, Brodie, it's such a cheap, bastard on
you condescending. It doesn't make a shit different in your life.
What car freaking scary buys. If you going to buy
a car, your body gets a car you wants, can
put out your fucking commentary body listeners.
Speaker 31 (42:31):
Bastard. He's so cheap it's not even funny. It is
your license and your cheek, what carries a back thirty
thirty bucks more or whatever? Geary and Body never Brody
is scary seed from the box. Body is so frigging annoying.
Speaker 30 (42:47):
Okay, is the only reason why I'm doing and I
listening to this podcast anymore?
Speaker 1 (42:51):
Okay, frigging constant Bye, you know what I want to
I want to stop down for a second because this
episode is slice time. I'll be honest. We don't normally
do this. We had to edit out a few different
people who went personally and attacked Scary and Me for
(43:13):
different things that they don't like about the podcast. Now,
then one of the number one shows is it Netflix
Scary Heated Rivalry. Heated Rivalry. It's a it's a TV
show about two young hockey players who are gay and
love each other. Well, I think one's Russian ones American.
I don't watch the show, but that's the gist of it,
and I guess it's like forbidden love because they're athletes
(43:34):
and their run's Russian ones American. Whatever. If you watch
Heated Rivalry and you're upset that the characters are gay
when that's what the show is about, you probably shouldn't
watch heated rivalry. Would that be fair to say Scary.
Speaker 2 (43:49):
I would say that would be fair to say, yeah, okay,
And I.
Speaker 1 (43:53):
Don't think it would make sense to attack the actors
on Twitter or the creator of the show. Oh I
fucking I like hockey, but I don't want to watch
a show with gay guys playing hockey.
Speaker 10 (44:03):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
So using that analogy, if you don't like the way
Scary buys expensive things, or my sense of humor, or
Scary's relationship or what happened to me at a department store,
if you don't like those stories, that's totally fine. But
that's this show. This is a show about that stuff.
(44:30):
So if you're gonna call up with hate and anger,
and I'm not talking about Steve just now, although you
know Steve, come on, I'm talking about people who left
talkbacks with violence and hate and anger about content on
this podcast. Look, we do this part time. We do
it to make you laugh. We're too normally very nice individuals.
(44:52):
We're good people. We do nice things for people in
real life, and we started doing this because we're like, oh,
let let's see we can make people laugh and have fun.
So if you like this, that's awesome and If you
like what I talk about, what Scary talks about, that's terrific.
If you don't like what we talk about, that's unfortunate.
Speaker 4 (45:13):
And if you want to disagree with us, you can
absolutely do that, right and you could lightly no in
a comedic way.
Speaker 1 (45:19):
Is fun.
Speaker 2 (45:20):
I know, we don't mind some of the ribbing and
the stuff that.
Speaker 4 (45:23):
You guys.
Speaker 1 (45:25):
If she if, if somebody wants to say, look, I
like to think of myself as smart with money. But
if you say I'm cheap or Scary's bougie, that's what
we are. And it's probably, to be honest with you,
it's a little exaggerated because you only hear the stories
that we bring to the show.
Speaker 2 (45:40):
You don't hear that I'm coming.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
I'm not coming in with stories about how I left
a big tip, right, that's not fun. It's the big tip.
Speaker 4 (45:48):
I made a sandwich today, I made a sandwiches.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
Scary has has ordered normal food at normal restaurants. Occasionally,
Scary has bought clothing that isn't designer brand. But I'm
not going to talk about, Hey, Scary, that's a nice
Haynes T shirt you got. I'm gonna talk about is
two hundred dollars tied dight shirt because that's funny.
Speaker 4 (46:09):
And I also want to say I do I do
love the fact that people can get a little talk
about you the way you rag on your friends at
the bar.
Speaker 2 (46:18):
I love that and don't and don't end that type
of stuff. But there's definitely a way.
Speaker 1 (46:24):
Of long and delivery left the messages. You know who
you are. I would hope that you would still listen.
But again, if you don't like a show about gay
hockey players, don't watch a show about gay hockey players.
I don't call up sports talk radio and tell them
to talk more or less or change what they're doing,
because that's the show they're doing, right. You don't call
(46:47):
up friends and say I don't want you guys to
be single. I want you all to be married and
have kids. That's what the show was about. So this
show is about what this show is about, and we
love the people to participate. And if you don't like something,
you are like, hey, Brodie, you know what that take
you had. I disagree it was kind of stupid or and.
Speaker 2 (47:05):
You can make in front of us. We love that stuff.
We love the humor, we love I do love you want.
Speaker 1 (47:10):
To write a song and it's like about but if
you're gonna like no, no, when it comes off malicious,
that I'm not the ship that you guys left today
about both of us and last week is uncalled for.
That's look. I understand social media has built up this
this world where you can go on Twitter and curse
people you don't know, and and you can go on
(47:32):
TikTok and and and slam people, right, but we like
to believe that we're We like to feel like we've
been friends of yours, that that we share moments with
over the past eight years, and hopefully you've been along
for the ride and you understand what we do and
not everything's a home run. I may talk about toothpaste.
(47:53):
You're like, what a dumb topic. Yeah, well, you also
may go into your bathroom and like, oh my god,
I just realized that they're not all home runs. We
don't know until we say it. Nobody's perfect, nobody plays
baseball gets a hit every time. So that's all I
wanted to say. Try to be a little more calm
and also understand what human beings with families and a
(48:16):
life and we're just people doing a podcast and kudos
don't like it. You know, that's fine to the people
who off. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (48:23):
So if you heard your your your your talk back,
that means we work. Although Steve cut me some slack.
Speaker 30 (48:29):
Brody body and everybody's scary rock and team from the
boxing air perhapsode three sixty three. What the fuck is
wrong with you today? Body, which fucking way too on
page game is upside down inside out.
Speaker 1 (48:43):
That's the podcast.
Speaker 10 (48:43):
And then your fucking mouth and brush the teeth.
Speaker 3 (48:45):
That's all you gotta doka.
Speaker 14 (48:47):
Oh my gosh, something again.
Speaker 10 (48:48):
My im is bad today.
Speaker 30 (48:50):
I do apologize for coming down you so hard, but
they're fucking annoying. You must be on your period or something.
Body over there, they guy against in the box.
Speaker 10 (49:02):
I never do the poor.
Speaker 30 (49:05):
But he talked me about the uber ride carry and
the body said, well, now he lost his job. The
driver is gonna come and kill you. However, add for
your story and what the driver said, he didn't have
your address in the system at that I was going
straight to the city, so I'm also be able to
find you after he gets to lose his job.
Speaker 1 (49:23):
That's true.
Speaker 14 (49:24):
Here he shot the fuck up chow over there.
Speaker 4 (49:27):
All right over there, all right. I think this is
a good time to just take a breather. L Steve's fine,
take a break, all right, just the last set for
today and then uh, and then we're running behind in
the week. We got to issue a Brooklyn Boys podcast
at some point, so all right, all right, we'll we'll
(49:49):
bang one of.
Speaker 1 (49:49):
Those out this week for sure.
Speaker 14 (49:50):
Hey, Brooklyn Boys.
Speaker 6 (49:51):
John again, figured I'll give you a little bit of
a break between my last you talk back.
Speaker 10 (49:56):
Thanks, Jerry.
Speaker 14 (49:57):
Another place.
Speaker 6 (49:58):
I'm giving you a lot of crap on the cardboard
box kid, but you did the right thing. People today
just treat kids like absolute pansies, and then those kids
grow up to have the thinnest skin in the world.
You can't take any adversity. You did the kid a
favor by teaching him a lesson about how the real
world actually works.
Speaker 14 (50:15):
Yeah so far.
Speaker 6 (50:16):
Now, I've got two kids and one do next month.
The thing I do my best to try and instill
in my daughter is that she needs to take pride
in her work, and the most important thing is merit.
Nothing else should matter. Kids need proper guidance and encouragement,
not coddling, and I feel like they get a lot
more coddling today than anything else.
Speaker 14 (50:36):
Other than that, that should be it for this week
for me.
Speaker 6 (50:38):
Gentlemen, great podcast, Love you both, take care of Scary
and Brody.
Speaker 1 (50:43):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (50:44):
Hey.
Speaker 1 (50:45):
I'll agree with John and the kids who but maybe
not ridiculed. I think Scary cross the line into anti
coddling into ridiculing.
Speaker 2 (50:55):
Sometimes a little bit of that.
Speaker 1 (50:58):
I'll make it public ridicule.
Speaker 2 (50:59):
No, I'm still living in the age, Damny p from.
Speaker 7 (51:04):
Bay On, New Jersey. Bro it's always Brody is Scary
more right? As far as what's on the showroom for
it is the oldest inventory and typically a high end
car that they're trying to unload and they don't want
to leave in the parking lot. Govern bit some star.
Speaker 1 (51:23):
Warter YEP what I've heard.
Speaker 7 (51:25):
And last note, Brody would love me. I'm we're going
to Dodge Dealership. I'm not going to tell you which one.
Speaker 1 (51:31):
Oh look at this, he's gonna leave you guessing. Oh,
DM me.
Speaker 30 (51:35):
Scary Brody, never body scary rock and see from the
box over there going back episode three sixty three and
the Basil.
Speaker 3 (51:42):
Under the MUDs on the Palm Chicken Farm.
Speaker 30 (51:45):
I don't know how I feel about that, eh, I'm
kind of I got to try it, I think first,
see how I was I like it or not. I'm
not a against greens like Brody is, but Basil and Parsley,
I gotta try it. Then I'll cast my versee once
I'm done over there, Scary and Brody never Brody and
(52:05):
Scary call him back episode three sixty three again and
graduations on a new place. Scary and the pool. Like
you said, Body never invited you. So Body can go
fuck himself if he thinks he's flimentting that pool, that's right.
And if he does, Scary I will come there personally
and drag his super ass right out of that pool.
That's what I'm going to do. Body is not gonna
(52:28):
in the pool. He's a fool. That's rock and Sieve
over thesut for now.
Speaker 1 (52:32):
That's right. See Brody's coming back to bite you. You're
not swimming my Olympic size slap. Let's not play. Let's
not play tit for Tat.
Speaker 2 (52:40):
Let's not all right.
Speaker 1 (52:43):
He doesn't have a song. I don't get tit for Tat.
It's called tip for tat.
Speaker 3 (52:48):
Reggie here.
Speaker 28 (52:50):
So I couldn't leave any talkbacks until now because I
couldn't find my phone anywhere, but just found it while
I was cleaning out the litter box.
Speaker 3 (53:00):
So Scary, I don't think the issue was that you
asked Nate to scratch your back.
Speaker 14 (53:06):
It was all the oral you asked him.
Speaker 32 (53:10):
Oh and also because while you were asking him to
scratch your back, you were doing that tongue noise.
Speaker 3 (53:16):
You do do that noise for Brody?
Speaker 1 (53:18):
No no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
I'm kidding.
Speaker 2 (53:20):
I didn't do that.
Speaker 1 (53:21):
She's by the way, have you noticed that in the
past week, we've learned that Scary asked Nate to scratch
his back and also sat next to him at a restaurant,
did Patty Corner? Yeah, it's going on, Scary. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (53:32):
Maybe I have a secret to take that new apartment
with Nate. Maybe I just have a secret to reveal
on Brooken Boy's episode number three sixty four.
Speaker 10 (53:40):
And so was Brodie Scary?
Speaker 2 (53:41):
Scary?
Speaker 15 (53:42):
You got fucked, We don't fuck feel good.
Speaker 2 (53:45):
We gave you the d dad, so I google it.
Speaker 28 (53:51):
I'd be in Dublin colors white, black, blue, and number
three hundred fifty five.
Speaker 2 (54:01):
It's broken grat So I hope you liked it. From there,
you know I love it, Hey Brooken, PSI and it's.
Speaker 15 (54:08):
It's purty, scary, a scary.
Speaker 1 (54:11):
Have you tried to trunk it up?
Speaker 33 (54:12):
Und leaning from Ohio, Brody with the pool of scaries,
who plays it?
Speaker 5 (54:19):
Might be?
Speaker 10 (54:20):
Take a ship in it. I promise you'd do it
pissed like a ship. I don't care. Dos so crazy?
Speaker 33 (54:27):
Leaning from Ohio generally toothpaste. Brand I care about is
charcoal and baked so the brand no fluoride. You don't
need none of that, notsoever. And the car thing, I
have a camera hybrid. The thing's been at beast. Now
I got the title, I don't have to worry about
paying it off. And I'm going towards a RAT four
(54:48):
later down in the future. Hybrid powerful their engine and
their generated itself. Looking from Ohio scary. Does the BMW
have a C seats for the summer, Brodie, because this
summer is the worst with men.
Speaker 10 (55:06):
I'm telling you.
Speaker 33 (55:07):
Back in the back in the day they hide the
little Honda Civic with a little vet for the driver
right there near their balls, and everybody left it. Back
in the day they got rid of that. I'm just saying,
do you have it, because I'm going for the rat
four that does have that.
Speaker 4 (55:23):
But you got what you what you fucking wrap for
to push a fucking rab for Brody, do you have that?
Speaker 33 (55:30):
No, they don't have it, righty, but Brody scary enough
with the food talk. Just email you the food. I'll
check it out. Let you know, by the way, scary Birdie.
Speaker 7 (55:43):
Uh.
Speaker 10 (55:43):
With the higher bred vehicles, they're their own generator.
Speaker 33 (55:46):
They can actually while coasting downhill, charge up your battery breaking,
charge up your battery. This you can drive up to
eight hundred miles in one tank in coasting city on battery.
Speaker 2 (55:59):
But just let you know, amazing, well, this is making
the case for the hybrid vehicle.
Speaker 34 (56:05):
All right, Welcome back, Brooklyn boys. This is Jody from
the three one six living in the four to ZHO two,
episode three sixty three. Scary. This salesman knew he had
you from your body language and your facial expression when
you saw your Brooklyn Gray BMW. He reeled you in
like the prize catch of the day. Dealer SHOs don't
(56:26):
like cars sitting on their floor plans more than thirty days.
Forty five days is pushing it. This is Jody again.
If you did your research, Scary you probably could have
gotten a better deal. Brody, you need a job. You're
too critical toothpaste tube label. Really, I think he should
open Brody's Grammar and Etiquette school. Then go to your
(56:47):
favorite shopping places, speak to the manager and get them
to pay for your services to teach customer service. This
could be your new profession. Glad you're back, Brooklyn boys.
Speaker 4 (56:57):
Thank you, Jody, glad to be back. She sounds like
she wrote that out and then read it like she rehearsed.
Yet now that was proms totally fine though.
Speaker 1 (57:06):
I love it, Yeah, Brody and Scary, it's dees scary.
Speaker 32 (57:10):
I love the fact that you got a new car,
and you know what, fuck it even if the dealership
saw you coming, like Brody says, which is very well
possible possible, I still think that as long as you
like it, who cares?
Speaker 1 (57:23):
I love right?
Speaker 32 (57:24):
I mean Brooklyn gray, man, it might as well wear
your Brooklyn industrial inside of your Brooklyn great car. You know,
And now you can move into your new apartment and
painted Brooklyn gray.
Speaker 1 (57:36):
Maybe I can.
Speaker 32 (57:38):
The other really big question, guys, is when Scary is
ready to move into his big, new bougie apartment complex
with a fucking bell hop and people parking his car
and shit, he flicks a coin and then all of
a sudden, you know there's someone like kissing his feet
or fucking rubbing his toes and shit getting off on
fucking polishing off his shoes. Will at some point if
(58:00):
Brody be able to jump inside of this pool that
you have there, I know Scary has said no. So
I think eventually Brody's gonna show up with chicken parm
There's not gonna be any basil or any other green
shit on top, right, and then.
Speaker 2 (58:15):
He's gonna go in the pool.
Speaker 32 (58:17):
And then when you guys are done at Scary spool,
then you should go to Brody's place. He doesn't have
to clean it anymore. There's no reason why you can't
go to his pool, right, and then you show up there,
then you guys.
Speaker 1 (58:28):
Might go out for a steak dinner maybe just maybe
maybe everything, but the last part I'm still waving at
steak dinner. By the way, I invited to come to
come to the pool here two summers in a row.
Speaker 2 (58:40):
Yeah, but you weren't gonna be home.
Speaker 1 (58:42):
Well that's why, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 17 (58:46):
Here Brody's scary as always, But I still love the
Scary So what I would always be bored When I
was younger, I would with my dad say if he
just liked to.
Speaker 14 (58:55):
Read the paper at the table and on board, what
are we doing on board?
Speaker 17 (58:58):
And you would just say let's be lost my knock
against the wall, look that board and I would and uh.
Speaker 7 (59:06):
One time I did for fun and I hear my son,
I was like, really, are okay?
Speaker 27 (59:14):
Know?
Speaker 18 (59:16):
Jo?
Speaker 1 (59:17):
Call home on?
Speaker 4 (59:24):
What is it?
Speaker 5 (59:25):
You damn straight? Brooklyn boys? Or nice?
Speaker 2 (59:31):
Is that like a promo for us?
Speaker 1 (59:34):
Was that our wrestling intro?
Speaker 24 (59:35):
I don't know?
Speaker 1 (59:36):
All right, here come the last.
Speaker 10 (59:37):
Three Brooklyn boy?
Speaker 3 (59:40):
Is John your mailman from Long Island?
Speaker 27 (59:42):
Here?
Speaker 3 (59:42):
Uh?
Speaker 35 (59:43):
First and foremost, I want to say, I'm very proud
of you, Scary. You channeled your inner Brody. It took
you a little bit, but you got it done. Congrats
on getting the flight vouchers.
Speaker 5 (59:52):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (59:53):
My question regarding the matter is usually based on how
this usually goes.
Speaker 14 (01:00:00):
They scale it.
Speaker 35 (01:00:01):
They start low and they progressively go higher and higher
when they don't have people to take.
Speaker 3 (01:00:07):
So my question to you is did you sweat it
out and wait for it to keep going up and up?
Speaker 35 (01:00:14):
Or did you jump at the first opportunity when they
said fifteen hundred. Something tells me you jumped at fifteen
hundred and he might have been able to get more.
May so a lot of money, but just general curiosity.
If you actually waited it out, or if you Brooklyn
graded with your BMW and just took it immediately when
it was.
Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
Presented spontaneous, I probably could have waited a little while
longer and maybe gotten five hundred more for it.
Speaker 35 (01:00:40):
Also, I wanted to ask, Yo, Scary, did you buy
any chance tell Brody about your current sofa couch debacle
that you were telling the big show. Oh, something tells
me you didn't. I didn't because I feel like Brody
definitely would have talked about this. Well, so if not,
Hey Brody, ask him about his sofa and tell him
not to miss any details.
Speaker 3 (01:01:01):
Give all the fine prints. Carry You're gonna love this one.
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
Love you guys, And that's a great hit on the Boys.
That's a great setup. But we didn't talk about my sofa.
Speaker 4 (01:01:11):
No, I just know that you're not taking it with you.
Oh yeah, we got things to talk about. Thank you
for your talkbacks. A new Brooklyn Boys episode will follow
very shortly.
Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
Reactions this podcast all depends on you, baby,
