Brooklyn Boys Podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Reactions.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
This podcast all depends on you, baby.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
Welcome to the Brooklyn Boys Slice time for episode three
seventy six and beyond.
Speaker 5 (00:34):
I'm David Brody, I'm Security Jones.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
You know, we got new promos running on the radio
on the Elvis Durand Morning show.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
Promost for what promost for the Brooklyn Boys. That's it.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
I was not aware of.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
And now our friend Lauren who used to be doing
the show with us, and she's been in Boston. We
have friend TJ And does the voiceover for the Elvis
Durant show and all the sweepers and stuff. She's a
she says, does the Brooken Boys with Brody and Scary.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
That's my girl right there. Yeah, and I think that
one who hired her three times. And then there's the
next one that says the Brooklyn Boys with Skiy and Brody.
So I think she gives us a perfect a little change,
you know, switches up a little bit.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
I'd nice. I appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Yeah, yeah, I'll have to have to have a word
with her because the proper title of the show is
in the logo. Okay, if you had any doubt, just
look at the logo.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
To this.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Look at little Look at the logo to the podcast. Yeah,
huh yeah, it's the name of the show. Be easy
to switch that that logo.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
This is the show about the show, This is the
show behind the show.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
This isn't the show, right.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
These people left talkbacks audio feedback of the real episode
and the other episodes on what we talked about. Yea,
And sometimes we give homework assignments and I say, slices,
what do you think about this? I needed to know
about the take dinner situation I had. Hopefully people left
talkbacks about that, And of course the only way to
(02:04):
leave it talk back is listening to the book and
the boys to the iHeartRadio app and clicking on that microphone.
All right, if you listen other ways, we appreciate it,
but you can't leave it talk back there. So you
have to eventually come to the iHeartRadio app. Come to
butt Head.
Speaker 6 (02:21):
Hey, Booken boys, it's Caitlin.
Speaker 7 (02:24):
So I know someone else has commented about this for
about like tipping on like the kiosk I'm not the
Kioskite like turnaround thing out like Starbucks.
Speaker 6 (02:33):
I have no problem tipping.
Speaker 7 (02:34):
What I do have a problem with is that these
people don't say thank you. Like when you hand them
a dollar, they'll say thank you. But when you flip
the screen and they say, answer this question, how about
you say thank you for tipping you?
Speaker 6 (02:48):
How about you say thank you? They don't have to
get tipped up. They see And I have worked many.
Speaker 7 (02:53):
Tip jobs I've served, I've been a cashier. An session,
Sam Mandra calls him, like, when people tip, you need
to say thank you. That's the problem is people don't.
They don't tip, they tip, and then we as consumers
aren't thanks. I don't know, and you know, you're not
supposed to do things nice looking for things back.
Speaker 6 (03:16):
But and I say thanks, appreciate that would be nice.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
Okayah, no argument there.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
I don't know if you leave a tip amount if
the employee can see it, and if you don't leave
a tip and they say thank you, then it gets weird.
So I don't know either they should be alerted to
what the tip is. But if you don't give a tip,
maybe they shouldn't know. Then that's awkward. I don't know
if there's a good way around this.
Speaker 8 (03:39):
Hey, Brody and Scary can like from Long Island here
listening to episode three, seventy five, Scary is going on
about the Sweet sixteen and it being over the top scary.
For some time now, sweet sixteens have been like mini
weddings for young women who are coming of age, especially
in Brooklyn, New York, at the El carib there and
(04:01):
also on the Bay. Places like that, you will see
over the top sweet sixteen, especially if your friends live
in that area, the Mill Basin Burgen Beach area, that
is the money area of Brooklyn.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
Oh oh, I know, you know, we were born and
raised in Brooklyn. Maybe it's because I haven't really been
to a Sweet sixteen in about twenty five years. I mean, yeah,
I mean I've been aware of what's been going on,
you know, especially several years ago on MTV when they
had my Super Sweet sixteen.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
I get it over the top stuff, But you feel
like this happens in like rich suburbs. I never thought
in nice, blue collar Brooklyn you would you would get that,
but uh, you know, I guess I guess you do,
especially in the money areas.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
As you put it.
Speaker 8 (04:50):
Hey, Brody and Scary from Long Island, and again I'm
still on episode three seventy five. Brody's talking about bringing
back the books and I'm the extra sixteen dollars. I say,
great job, Brody. I think I would have gone the
same exact thing, hoping that I would. First I would
have research how much they were worth on bonds and
(05:10):
noble to see how much they were, and then would
have brought it back to the store. Great job.
Speaker 9 (05:17):
Also, times were tough. We need the extra cash in
our pockets. Gas prices are through the roof. You take
your sixteen dollars and you go buy what you want.
Speaker 8 (05:31):
Hey, Brody, Scary Kelly from One Again. Brody, sorry, I'm
like listening on and Brody just said that his friend
bought a computer from the Better Purchases place. If they
were small enough, they would check serial numbers on the
boxes and with the computer to know it wasn't the
(05:53):
same computer if they wanted to do. But sometimes you
have chi. Hey Brody and Scared Kelly from One Again
discuss how Scary got into his phone. Brody, Apple devices
do the same thing. As long as you're signed into
the same user name, Apple ID and password on your devices,
(06:16):
you can get all the same information from all your
of course apps, as long as you upload everything to
the eye.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Now I have a backup iPad thanks to David Brody,
where I'll always be signed in.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
Yeah, so if I talk about episode, we will the
story behind that, the story behind many how many talkbacks?
Speaker 10 (06:34):
Brody?
Speaker 1 (06:34):
That was six?
Speaker 5 (06:36):
Yeah, but you know what, it was flowing and there
was sure the song ready to go.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
She didn't.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
She didn't want use thirty seconds. She used like fifteen
second bursts, which was right. It kind of saved her
a little bit.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
That's why I was I'm not in Plantagenle okay, and
we didn't use up the herd drive space from broken.
Speaker 10 (06:55):
Brody.
Speaker 11 (06:55):
I just want to apologize.
Speaker 12 (06:56):
I did not hear you say a coded version that
makes perfect sense.
Speaker 13 (07:01):
But yeah, I was talking about this straight up writing,
because I do have friends that did that.
Speaker 10 (07:07):
They used to do that like email themselves.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Or oh yeah just outright.
Speaker 12 (07:11):
Write it in their notes or whatever it is, but
never anything anyhow.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 14 (07:19):
What are we not playing the jingle on his DP?
Speaker 15 (07:22):
Too much?
Speaker 8 (07:23):
Noise?
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Dude?
Speaker 10 (07:26):
That was only four talkbacks?
Speaker 16 (07:29):
Who's on eighth one?
Speaker 10 (07:31):
Goddamn?
Speaker 17 (07:33):
Are we not doing this?
Speaker 1 (07:35):
No, we're doing this. We're doing doing it right now.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
No, don't do that, don't don't test us don't test
our patience. We don't want to play the jingle unless
we have to. This is not like him, right, brothers.
Speaker 18 (07:54):
And sisters, slashes slash sense some all ages. I come
to you today to proclaim that the boys, the boys
have laid down the law.
Speaker 10 (08:16):
They put their foot down yesday.
Speaker 19 (08:21):
Long corner, Today's of five, seven, eight, twenty six copects
at one time, and mister one ball that is going
on and on and on, and Liam from Wisconsin and
his chirping burden and his muffled runts, and the trucker,
(08:42):
Oh lord, don't forget about the trucker.
Speaker 18 (08:47):
Going on and on about how they take this shit
and how you utilize this toilet paper. But I know, yes,
I know, you asked yourself. You know sending multiple talkbacks
is not half as bad.
Speaker 19 (09:07):
As returning a peepee stained inflatable retrospect to target with
seeming stains.
Speaker 6 (09:15):
And Whatno, but we must not o orload.
Speaker 18 (09:20):
The imaginary server, for if we overlord the sermer, we
will not hear MJ from NJ.
Speaker 10 (09:27):
Or Jamie from Queens. But if you find yourself in
the need to do.
Speaker 19 (09:33):
More than four talkbacks, more than four talkbacks, remember to
always say, play.
Speaker 18 (09:43):
The jingle, bitch, Play the jingle, bitch, play it, Brody.
Speaker 10 (09:48):
I know you had your finger on the trigger all
the time.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Yeah, but we said that if you're in the middle
of something funny, we're not going to count.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
And then he's continuing, and he's continuing.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Along and he't think he has a couple more here.
He's testing our patience. But you know he said, he said,
play the jingle.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Playing the jingle, bitch? Are you playing it?
Speaker 10 (10:21):
Brody? I know you had your finger on the trigger
all the time. You're just sitching to play that damn jingle.
The two of them play him. I want to hear it.
Play those jingles. Let everybody know.
Speaker 18 (10:38):
That the server must not get overloaded.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
It will be the end.
Speaker 18 (10:46):
If you haven't played the g No my now, I
just want to let you know that there was a
wise man that once said.
Speaker 10 (10:59):
We can do whatever. And this talk back was.
Speaker 18 (11:06):
Not only a talk beck, twas a drunk back brought
to you five.
Speaker 10 (11:12):
But let not a sponsor.
Speaker 5 (11:15):
By the way, Okay, that was entertaining, that.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Was very entertaining. That doesn't get the jingle.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
No, No, I only played the jingle because he said,
play the jingle.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Right, exactly all right, continuing along.
Speaker 20 (11:31):
Excry and Brodie c from the box over there, episode
three seventy.
Speaker 15 (11:34):
Five, The phone Debacle. That's why people.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Make fun of me.
Speaker 20 (11:38):
While I carried two eyes for shizzles the same I
apple like d just in case some shit should go down.
I got the deuce seventeen and sixteen, just in case
something happens. You never find me in that predicament, because
I don't have to worry about it. Got to two
(11:59):
Cass now got.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
His back up, Sure he's got his back up, playing and.
Speaker 20 (12:02):
Body from the boxing again over there. This time I'm
calling about the Walking Dead books. Body did nothing wrong,
thank you. I actually admire the move. Body, admire it,
admire it. Wow, And they all to.
Speaker 6 (12:19):
Call the proper precautions to make sure he's at legit.
I will not legit, but a bake legit situation.
Speaker 20 (12:25):
It looked legit. I gotta give clad clad for body.
Body was right chaffing, now.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
Wow, Rocking, Steve, that hold on, that's that definitely deserves
a pause. Right there, Rock and Steve would leave four
or five five complimentary Brody is right talkbacks.
Speaker 5 (12:53):
I would allow it.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
All right, we're up to a areing start. You haven't
really had anybody have to play the jingle on yet.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
We will though, I'm sure so No, everybody's.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Been respectful and understanding of the situation. We don't want
to get to people's talk backs deleted So.
Speaker 16 (13:13):
So so good, aren't can now? So blow jew Roady
is scary talk about three all with the mediums and
serious sister or whatever.
Speaker 10 (13:25):
I'm with Rody.
Speaker 11 (13:27):
These guys, these.
Speaker 21 (13:28):
These people there, they don't learn how to fucking talk
to the sixth sense or whatever the fuck they say.
They learn how to generalize so much that they are
that they are able to convince people that they know
what they're It's just like those people that go on
stage age and do like they know how to convince
(13:49):
people to do things type of thing, and like they're like, oh,
I knew they were going to do that.
Speaker 16 (13:52):
It's like, no, like they just know how to tap it.
They learned psychology essentially.
Speaker 21 (13:57):
That's all they're doing, is they're learning psychology and how
people should react to things, and that's what they're doing
and not actually.
Speaker 22 (14:03):
Talking to the fucking other side.
Speaker 21 (14:05):
Like nobody's like it's not you can't do that, Like
I'm religious and I know you can't see that, and
I was brought in.
Speaker 16 (14:11):
The only way you can actually actually prove it to me.
Speaker 21 (14:14):
That these fucking people can do it is like them
telling me, hey, your grandfather Harry Porter. Uh, he's saying
hi to you, and I never told them their name.
That would actually convince me more than telling me that
my theorial on is fucking Adhd, which I already knew,
like every fucking kid at Adhd today, Harry.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, all right, the Sorcerer's
stone canal.
Speaker 5 (14:43):
So flow you all right?
Speaker 21 (14:48):
And then now now getting now scary talking about a
mentalist That's what I was looking for, Yes, exactly, a
mentalistism tradition. Like the way he does that is amazing,
Like that's that that's proved that he knows what he's doing.
Speaker 10 (15:01):
These fucking mediums.
Speaker 21 (15:02):
Or whatever is not proof they know what they're doing
when they just blurt out general shit like Brody said, right,
uh yeah, all right.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
All right, that was four by.
Speaker 23 (15:12):
The way, Brodie's scary, scaring, Brody's dead.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 23 (15:15):
Before I started my life into the world of criminal
justice in the court system, waited tables for a very
long time and the weirdest thing I ever got tipped
with besides cash was a scratch ticket so lotto, a
winning one. Obviously, the person's like, hey, really sorry, I
didn't think my check was going to be this much,
but uh, this is a twenty dollars winner.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
Here you go.
Speaker 23 (15:38):
And it actually happened to me more than once.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
That's kind of cool.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
I mean, if it's a guaranteed winner, if it's been
scratched already, yeah all right, I mean I wouldn't take
I wouldn't want to take my chances on one that
hasn't been scratched yet.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
That here here's yeah, this I listen, it could be
worth like could be it was it? It was it
great t gave you a birthday present many years ago.
It's like this.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
This could be worth a million dollars. Happy birthday. Happy birthday,
could be worth a million it was not.
Speaker 24 (16:05):
No.
Speaker 25 (16:06):
Hey, this is Jim the twin dadd from Goshen.
Speaker 15 (16:10):
We started at zero.
Speaker 25 (16:11):
Now I'm here. I wanted to talk to you guys
about the weird AI because it made me think of
my mom. When I post things on Facebook, she always
is like, I hate that. Damn meta al making suggestions
meta she reads weird meta AI is meta al and
it made me think of that.
Speaker 15 (16:30):
So love the show.
Speaker 5 (16:32):
Love You Guys is funny.
Speaker 10 (16:36):
Pizza delivery guy here.
Speaker 14 (16:40):
Yeah, I've been tipped in other stuff pre road joints, nice, mainly.
Speaker 26 (16:49):
A big nugga weed, things like that. I think the
older smokers, they think it's cool to tip and stuff
like that, but I don't smoke. So I just gave
it to somebody, one of our buddies that does.
Speaker 5 (17:05):
Well, that's nice.
Speaker 14 (17:06):
You get him and the joint might have not been
licked necessarily because a lot of people are messing with
the pre rolls that you buy.
Speaker 15 (17:24):
At the stores that sell we.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
Okay, you know, I do think that for some people
it's more valuable to like play into their hobbies and
tip them in with that or something that they vibe.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
But he doesn't like, he doesn't. If he doesn't partake,
then then it's worthless.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
Listen, if you're a vegan and they tip you in steak,
you gotta be like, yo, I don't want you steak.
I'm a vegan, so for me if they if I was,
you know, I many years ago I drove delivery. I
drove delivery for a place, and I delivered food, and
if somebody tipped me in something I didn't, I would
like I want to do with that now if they
told me it's either that or nothing. You know, they
(18:09):
gave me broccoli, like I don't want your broccoli?
Speaker 1 (18:12):
You would love? You would love to get tipped in
a steak guarantee you?
Speaker 2 (18:17):
Yeah, well, I got a better chance of that than
you buy me a stake, didn't What about if someone
sent you Omaha steaks not.
Speaker 5 (18:23):
The same as the steak.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Didn't you own me?
Speaker 2 (18:25):
But I love Omaha steaks. They're not a sponsor. They
should be lame from Ohio the steak issue.
Speaker 17 (18:32):
Yeah, so a meetium rare is the right way you
need it to keep the nutrition.
Speaker 5 (18:37):
If you go over, that's you got nothing?
Speaker 6 (18:41):
Yea?
Speaker 1 (18:42):
And why they take an hour?
Speaker 5 (18:46):
How big is the room?
Speaker 1 (18:48):
The service?
Speaker 19 (18:49):
Hi?
Speaker 5 (18:50):
How's all that? Brodie?
Speaker 17 (18:57):
If you don't want to feel shameful, then you shouldn't
have had a sandwich of a steak which just had
a steak that's not cut that keeps all nutrition in it.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
I wasn't there, Electrician. You heard about that bacon? You
heard apparently if you make it into a sandwich, you
take all the nutrition out.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Yeah, I don't think that's the thing.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
But anyway, I wasn't ordering my steak sandwich because I
was looking for a protein and nutrition. I was looking
for a steak sandwich, and I got it. You just
didn't want it, Raly, he didn't want it wrong.
Speaker 5 (19:34):
Eventually, nobody's commenting on what I should have done, though.
Speaker 27 (19:39):
Pickleball douche skidding karma story reminds me of.
Speaker 6 (19:42):
Something that happened to me in school.
Speaker 27 (19:44):
When I was in high school, during lunch, I used
to play this trading card game and there were other
kids who played that game or different trading card games stuff.
Speaker 28 (19:53):
There was one guy who was a higher skill level
than I was who would always beat me no matter what,
and I could not figure out how he always beat
me every game.
Speaker 6 (20:04):
So a different guy.
Speaker 27 (20:05):
Who's an even higher skill level than the guy who
always beat me, said that that guy's cheating. He's making
place that I don't know he can't be doing. So
the guy said, I'll watch you guys play tomorrow when
I guarantee you you'll win because he knows he can't
do those plays, because I know he can't do them,
(20:26):
And sure enough, I won the game and that dude
never played me again.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
Oh you beat him far at square. Good for you, you win.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
We don't like cheaters. Cheaters never prosper well, I don't
know about that. Sometimes they do, but karma eventually gets them.
Speaker 29 (20:48):
Brooklyn Boy, it's Friday and fucking sucks.
Speaker 12 (20:53):
But anyway, I'm listening to the new episode of Brooklyn Boys.
Speaker 29 (20:57):
And y'all talking about top Dog Law Bulldogs and all
the other shit in the commercials.
Speaker 12 (21:02):
But anyway, I always thought that top Dog wall was.
Speaker 29 (21:06):
Like a New York City thing because I always heard
it when I was listening to the Big Show live.
Speaker 12 (21:10):
But I've just seen to add on TV, like commercial
on TV last night down here North Carolina for top
Dog Long.
Speaker 24 (21:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (21:17):
The second thing, if someone tips me a joint, i'ma
be a damn happy man.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
Let me just put it like.
Speaker 29 (21:26):
That, boss man come out here and say you doing good,
hand me warn barmber, be real happy.
Speaker 15 (21:31):
Let me tell you that much.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Anyway, I know an old man that does that.
Speaker 12 (21:34):
He walks around with a pocket full of fucker's joints
and hand them the people instead of a fucking tip.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
And you'd be surprised how far.
Speaker 29 (21:41):
This motherfucker has got off a hand of somebody a joint.
Speaker 5 (21:45):
But like down here in the South, I haven't.
Speaker 29 (21:47):
Noticed that a lot of people don't tip very well.
So if you hand somebody a joint, you handed them something.
Especially down here where I'm from, you hand them. These
motherfuckers are.
Speaker 12 (21:57):
Beating the goddamn hell out of something.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
Jesus Christ.
Speaker 29 (22:01):
I don't even know if y'all heard any of that,
but anyway, yeah, joint will get your long ways down
here in the South.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
You hand that motherfucker or somebody.
Speaker 30 (22:07):
I know.
Speaker 29 (22:08):
If you out at the beach and you hand the
parking guy free joint, dude, you're getting free parking all
day before.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Giving out a free joint at the beach is my
number one move for free parking.
Speaker 29 (22:18):
You swing by the biscuits and porn, gets your newdi magazine,
some rolling papers, and a biscuit, head on down to
the beach.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
Hand that motherfucker pre roll joint. He'll have a good
day and you have a good day too because you.
Speaker 29 (22:28):
Ain't got to pay twenty five dollars for parking and
you got your toes in the water and ask him
saying amen.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Right, hello, uh yeah, second, hold on boys all left,
he's all left a minute apart, produces looks so good
for these c from NC with the fucking noise behind him.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
This is my fourth top bat. You cut the fifth wife.
Speaker 6 (22:52):
You want to?
Speaker 1 (22:53):
I kind of just want to hear the jingle? May
I hope y'all boys have a good weekend? Amen, have
a good one. I don't know why I said that,
damn country anyway, Are you playing a jingle yet?
Speaker 5 (23:04):
How about now you notice before nobody loves you more?
Speaker 3 (23:16):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (23:17):
Oh no, he continues. You know, I'm sorry about that,
but you know what. Fucking five talk back dog mother?
Speaker 2 (23:26):
No, that's six a jingle, bitch hit that I was
talking back number four.
Speaker 5 (23:33):
Number six you do not get anymore.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
Number five is on the cunning road floor.
Speaker 10 (23:40):
We tied to the sun on the four.
Speaker 8 (23:46):
Already.
Speaker 5 (23:47):
Maybe you got a couple, get another one ready, This motherfucker.
Speaker 8 (23:53):
Here.
Speaker 31 (23:54):
It's never been a server, but absolutely have tipped with
things other than money. That one I caressed the nipple
of a female waitress for around six to eight seconds
in lieu of a tip. Once I reached my hands
down the pants of a male waiter.
Speaker 32 (24:16):
Before I even ordered a tip.
Speaker 8 (24:18):
But I feel like that should have been in lieu
of the tip.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
Okay, readie hanky panky on the job.
Speaker 31 (24:26):
I fluffed up remnants of mashed potatoes on my plate,
added slices of the broccoli to make it look like trees,
and then took a calamari from my friend's plate, you know,
the looking one with the legs, and I put that
right in the middle and offered that there has been
(24:47):
so much oral, so much oral under the table, on
the table. None of it was in replace of a tip,
though actually I think I tipped the more and gave
them an oral. My god, I didn't reciprocate, though.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
Thank you reg Hi. That was four.
Speaker 6 (25:11):
Hey, b boys, it's Rifka. Okay, let me see how
people record this ship base, but I'm gonna.
Speaker 12 (25:18):
I'm gonna buy one with a bigger can you go
base in your face?
Speaker 33 (25:22):
Bace space space, kdi boys, it's Rifka again. I did
this one a few weeks ago, but it never played,
so I wanted to do it again.
Speaker 5 (25:36):
The space between your eyebrows and I have two again.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
Weeks ago.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Rifka knows space joined the party. Rifka.
Speaker 33 (25:53):
Also, I have been home, not working for the last
two weeks. Remember I told you as I was training
for a half marathon. Lol, I have a stress fracture
in my tibia. So I've been listening to a shipload
of old episodes and I just wanted to say that
I love you guys so much. You you guys make
(26:16):
me laugh and you're bringing a little joy into my
life because there's none currently.
Speaker 5 (26:21):
So love you by all other positives going on besides
this mess of a show.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
But you know what, I'll sit here and I'll bask
in the afterglow of those compliments. Thank you so much.
That's beautiful. We love you. See all this crap that
we spew, it's it's it's not all or nought. Brodie.
Speaker 5 (26:42):
Yeah, by the way, you said bask in the in
what in the afterglow? Okay, it's cheron the Brook Glynn
Boys podcast.
Speaker 6 (26:50):
We will be right back.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
I didn't even know that it's Sheer and Sonya were
talking about. Is this so called bask in the after glow?
Speaker 24 (26:57):
No?
Speaker 5 (26:58):
Just after glow?
Speaker 16 (26:58):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (26:59):
Okay, I don't even know that. One must not have
been it.
Speaker 24 (27:06):
From watching State. I haven't been on here for a
long time, but after I heard that story, I had
to get on here. That is so wrong, and it's honest.
Speaker 1 (27:14):
Which one which you did wrong?
Speaker 24 (27:16):
With Barnes and Noble you lied the entire time and
he admitted it. That's ridiculous, dude, I have no respect
for person.
Speaker 15 (27:24):
I'll do that.
Speaker 24 (27:25):
You put people through that kind of stuff. They're questioning you,
you're lying and lying.
Speaker 15 (27:29):
Yeah, no, No, that's messed.
Speaker 24 (27:30):
Up, dude.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
Hold on, I only lied about the bag right and
when I bought them. But that being said, they were
brand new and I didn't know they would give me
more money. I just wanted my own money back. So
I do feel like on a scale one to ten
for bad. But I think I think he thinks it's
more like I said.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
I still think. I still think it took advantage of
a situation.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Was my intention, though. I just want to return the
comics because they were unopen, unused on new. I mean,
you know, still new things have an expiration dates on
them right now. Comic books don't. Yeah, I mean the value.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
Decreases, I don't know. I don't know. I think they
lost money on that deal.
Speaker 5 (28:12):
No, they didn't lose money. They raised the price, which
means they didn't lose value. Now they can sell them
for more.
Speaker 24 (28:17):
Brody Shawn from Washington State, Sean, I'm sorry, Brody.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
Shawn from Washington State.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Are you serious?
Speaker 1 (28:24):
You did nothing wrong?
Speaker 24 (28:26):
Scary after direct If you would have done the same thing,
you would have ripped him to shreds.
Speaker 16 (28:30):
You freaking know it. You're trying to.
Speaker 24 (28:33):
Maybe make it sound like it's not that big a
deal and just went over a little bit of sixty days.
Speaker 21 (28:37):
Dude, it went it blew by sixty days, years and
years and years.
Speaker 19 (28:41):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
That's ridiculous. Thanks stole money because you got more money.
Speaker 10 (28:45):
Even paid for it.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Yeah, I didn't right, You're wrong, man.
Speaker 24 (28:48):
You you have no play on this one.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
Thank you. There's a man with a lot of sense.
Speaker 5 (28:53):
Sean's making points.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
Speaking of sense, I made like a few hundred sense.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
You robbed them of their money, took money out of
their register. Hold on, did not.
Speaker 5 (29:04):
But I understand Sean's point showing you're you're definitely right
on some certainly okay.
Speaker 28 (29:11):
Hey, but good boye Jamie from Queens Again, Broy, I
told my dad.
Speaker 6 (29:15):
About the raw steak story at the restaurant.
Speaker 27 (29:19):
It worked for the New York City Health Department, and
his recommendation is that you call your local health department
and file a complaint because that's not an okay mistake
for them to make. Like people can get legitimately sick.
It can got from them cooking food, especially meat raw. Personally,
I just wouldn't go back to the place.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Right, Well, yeah, I may not.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
Kind of difficult because he loved the place. So no, No,
it's not that place. It's another place you love, another place. No,
it's another place I've been to a couple of times.
It's not one of my top places.
Speaker 11 (29:56):
Is justin from Iowa.
Speaker 22 (30:00):
Jerry normally on your side, definitely overside ninety nine point
ninety nine a time. Brody's just wrong. A lot get
around that. There's no getting around that. Yeah, But a
play of business is able to play wherever the fuck
they want. They want to play volleyball, that didn't play volleyball.
(30:23):
They don't have to play the next game just because
you're a fan of the Knicks.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
Well, I think they do because they want to please
the customer. They want the customers. It shouldn't be a
personal preference. It should be like what is best for
this business at this time, And at that moment, on
that Saturday night, there was a very big game on.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
It was it was a playoff game, it might not listen.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
It's about any other team to any other playoff game
that was going on. Any big event game like that
big match is going to be more important than a
random college women's softball game.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
That's all i'may saying, Brody.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
I agree with you when you said it, Okay, you
should not put your personal preference ahead of the possible
preference of possible customers, or unless they were trying to
drive people away and go back to the casinos, or if.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
You're angry because your team lost and you didn't want.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
To see this other entirely possible that management told them
don't put the next game on. We don't want people
gathered around the TV watching when they need to be gambling.
Fair enough, but the casino is not a different owner
than the people that own the steakhouse.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
I'm just saying that.
Speaker 5 (31:35):
Maybe there may be rules. There may be rules you
don't know.
Speaker 30 (31:38):
All right, Heather and Cincy here, me and Bertie are
mellowing out while the rest of the world is getting angrier.
I think you definitely should have said something to the
manager the second time it happened.
Speaker 6 (31:51):
But in the moment.
Speaker 30 (31:54):
I don't agree with Scary. I think you should have
said something, but I wouldn't call corporate because then I
do agree with Scary. That might, you know, make the
restaurant mad. And if you want to keep going there,
you got to get to that free dessert broke. Also,
I love how you guys keep slipping in the song
(32:17):
quotes to your conversations. It's much better than when Scary
slips in an inappropriate product endorsement.
Speaker 1 (32:25):
Keep thank you, okay, thank you.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
That is a fantastic talkback right there, touched all the bases,
got to the point one and done boom.
Speaker 5 (32:33):
That was awesome. And she's got a cute voice too,
she does, which is no.
Speaker 32 (32:38):
Scary about the sandwich situation.
Speaker 15 (32:42):
You do not let it go.
Speaker 32 (32:43):
This is why customer service is going downhill everywhere because
people are doing exactly that. They're letting stuff slide more
and more and more. Nobody's saying that anything about any
except the occasional karen as we call them. And this
is why customer service everywhere is going downhill. This is
why people full and ac are not putting on the
Knicks game for their customers exactly that enjoyment from Instagram.
Speaker 5 (33:07):
All right, I'm enjoyment, you know what. You know what
he's saying there. You need me on that wall.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
You want me on that wall because I help customer service.
I keep people in line. And I don't know what
I was thinking. I got soft that night. What happened again?
Speaker 24 (33:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (33:24):
I don't like upset n Apple car, but I totally
understand there are you that doesn't need Yeah, there's a.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
Need to be better. I get it.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
I uh oh, I'm I guess I'm torn on that
one too, Okay, Natalie brilliant.
Speaker 32 (33:43):
And also as far as as who's the better person,
who's an asshole or not? What about the employees at
the restaurant making poor Brody sit there for half an
hour twice waiting for his food, not improving the second time,
and not comping him anything. Who's a whole there while
he paid full price for that experience? You're I think
(34:03):
they're the asshole Simon with Brody here the lord.
Speaker 1 (34:08):
Enjoyment. I'm actually ma I'm actually very entertained by his talkbacks.
It's good.
Speaker 16 (34:16):
Let me be made brooking boys.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
Whoa ct whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa? What happened there
that was me keep playing? Oh that was you? Oh okay,
I phone, I phone. I thought two of them came
in at once.
Speaker 16 (34:28):
No made Brooklyn boys Johnson CT back after having my
third kid over in February, and that was a baby girl, scary.
I'm just waiting for the no. I don't think anything
you said was wrong. It is a little late for
a woman and her who used to be having her
third kid as well, but God bless her. Hope everything
(34:48):
is healthy and I hope she has everything goes smooth
with the pregnancy.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
So far, so good.
Speaker 16 (34:53):
Hey, brooken voice, Brody, you got to cut this politically
correct crap out their garbage p people. They're the exact same.
They're not sanitation professionals. Don't them Just call people what
they are, servers or waitresses and waiters, stewardess is stewards.
It's all is the same thing. Let's not make someone
(35:15):
else to be more than they are. What are we
going to start calling cashiers currency transfer agents?
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Okay, So just just to be just to be clear
in case you haven't noticed, I'm old school. I was
being facetious.
Speaker 5 (35:29):
Yeah, the garbage men, garbage people, got the garbage garbage.
They aren't garbage. But they're the garbage men.
Speaker 16 (35:37):
The garbage men, I guess the really contentious stuff. Brot it.
For the longest time, I was on your side with
the steak dinner owed by Scary when it was about
spending quality time with a friend at a restaurant, enjoying
the time together. But once you shifted the goalposts, and
now Scary feeling the financial pain and it's all about
(35:58):
being that scary that the feel. Jerry, I'm on your side.
Screw Brody at that point, keep your dinner. You did
enough with the dinner that was paid for by the restaurant.
And one hundred dollars, that's right, and one hundred dollars ten.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Let's not forget I came out of pocket. My pocket
was hurt by one hundred dollars. Oh, one hundred dollars
is nothing to you. You spend it on gas while
your engines run and getting gas and you call stop it.
And the second time that I paid for your dinner
with Greg pay nothing. The second time, yes, we paid
for your dinner. That second time, no, you did it.
We had a party usually did. There was other people
in the room, so.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
It didn't count. Fuck you.
Speaker 5 (36:32):
It didn't count. You didn't buy me dinner.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
We paid for that dinner I got.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
I got a ten fifteen dollars thing, and you were like,
oh the greag t and I will split it. So
you you paid for half of my shitty meal. It
wasn't a steak dinner.
Speaker 5 (36:46):
Stop it.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Stop it.
Speaker 16 (36:49):
As for the restaurant that you can't seem to cook
a proper steak sandwich or cook it at all, frankly,
for you, Brody, you need to say something to corporate, Yes,
something for that, because that's a logan bread.
Speaker 24 (37:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (37:00):
Why are you now the bad guy because you say
something when they're not doing their jobs properly? Cookshops know
the difference between aware state an uncooked steak, a medium
rare or whatever.
Speaker 15 (37:11):
Done this you want?
Speaker 16 (37:12):
Brodie, you're in the right on You're you should be
in the right on that one. I don't even know
who you are anymore.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
Wow, there's two people now saying that you got so
can't I can't turn a new page when it comes
to that, because I wrote the book so to speak.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
All right, consumers nineteen eighties commercial, Oh yeah, consumers, they
wrote the book. Hey listen, I knowing the place you
went to, and how do you want to frequently do
I know the place I went to. It is not
a place that I go to a lot, but it's
the place that you're going to go in the future
a lot.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
So you don't want to you don't want to really
place out. This is a place that you're getting to feel.
You know, you're feeling it out and you kind of
like the vibe A couple of times. I went a
few times in the last two times. You don't want
to write it off so quickly, so you're little careful
about what you're saying and to whom that's all No, Nope,
I I just thought it would be. I just was like,
let me see about walking out and not let me
(38:07):
let me see how that feels. It felt terrible. It
felt terrible walking out and paying for my It was terrible.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Never again. You're starting to come back, Brody, thank you.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
It's like when when Marty McFly, you know, the pictures
fading or the family, all of a sudden, they're coming
back into the picture. It's becoming the pictures, putting itself
back together again.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
Brodie's becoming Bernie's becoming himself. He's starting to feel a
little bit more stronger every.
Speaker 5 (38:34):
Day, not more stronger, a little bit.
Speaker 1 (38:37):
More strong whatever, whatever, dude, right, see.
Speaker 15 (38:42):
From the box, what's going on? Body and scary scary
and brody.
Speaker 20 (38:49):
Calling about Jamie from Queen kind as a.
Speaker 1 (38:55):
Name Jose.
Speaker 20 (39:00):
And I always hope here murdy, but uh yeah, she's
get pretty annoying as well. On say a blasted and
we know scary gow one more and then I'll be
all for me today Steve from le Bronx again, scary Brody,
so my rest well talk back at Wan valve bed
that his name is Kade. Me for a minute, I
think Jamie's words in Wan valve Beds. And now she's
(39:22):
on and it's the talk back episode of like our
fourth fucking Paul about how over who scary is fucking annoying?
Speaker 11 (39:32):
Really?
Speaker 20 (39:34):
When about me the way I used to be? Now
these people are like fucking vultures. We should be shot
from the tie.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Oh my god, thank you, Steve, thank you. We love
all serve, all of our slices.
Speaker 4 (39:49):
You know, it's okay, it's it's a I appreciate you
coming to my rescue, though I know I got Steve
in my corner. Who needs top dog law when I
got Steve from the Bronx over here.
Speaker 6 (40:00):
Yeah, Hi Brooklyn, boys, Jen the group.
Speaker 34 (40:04):
We're from Pumpino Beach here. Just checking in on episode
three seventy six about the tipping and getting a joint
for a tip. As someone who works in a service industry,
I am grateful for any tip I get. Quite honestly,
cash is king as always always, But if you want
to give me a little extra joint because you know
I smoke, or a lottery ticket because you know I'm
(40:26):
a gambler. I have received many kinds of tips over
the years, so some of them unusual. I once received
a whole ham right before Christmas at Christmas Ham, I
have received, like I said, lottery tickets, cash, brownies, Starbucks.
I'm just grateful you appreciate my work and you took
(40:48):
the time to think about me. So if you're gonna
tip me anything, thank you.
Speaker 26 (40:53):
Hi.
Speaker 5 (40:54):
Hey, Scary, what should you do with that ham?
Speaker 1 (40:55):
She's great?
Speaker 4 (40:56):
You should toss that ham in the frying pan, Expam
the lights the lights are blinking. I'm thinking it's all
over when I go out drinking.
Speaker 20 (41:06):
Oh carry Body, Body series. See from the box over there,
episode three talking about biased and biased different episode, another
one that's been burning my ravioli is all of a sudden,
A lot of people are saying based off of when
the fun did that happens?
Speaker 15 (41:25):
Isn't it based on? Based off?
Speaker 20 (41:27):
How about based off my balls? How about that based on?
Not based off? Am I am I crazy? Let me
know if I'm out of whack, and I know I'm
ot a whack, but let me know a matter on
this over there?
Speaker 1 (41:38):
No, No, I think you are correct?
Speaker 15 (41:39):
You are?
Speaker 1 (41:40):
You are correct? Shir you are?
Speaker 2 (41:41):
Oh, I've got a grammar police for the next episode
of Brooklyn Boys. I heard somebody call the radio station
and say something. I'm like, what the hell are they
talking about?
Speaker 9 (41:49):
The boy podcast?
Speaker 5 (41:53):
All right?
Speaker 1 (41:54):
Let me breaks? We got left we have. I think
this is the last one. I think I bringing on.
Oh it's a long one though.
Speaker 15 (42:02):
Broad him.
Speaker 6 (42:02):
Man, you sicking me returning those books?
Speaker 15 (42:06):
What a disgrace.
Speaker 6 (42:07):
But this is even worse.
Speaker 15 (42:09):
You have daughters.
Speaker 1 (42:12):
In a dress, a wire dress, larger than life.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
All right, Backstreet Boys, Backs Boys, I'll tell you why
I missed its.
Speaker 1 (42:29):
Playing Backstreet Boys larger than Life.
Speaker 2 (42:33):
I have three kids, but my kids were born, they
were not they didn't grow up as Backstreet Boys fans.
Speaker 1 (42:40):
There.
Speaker 2 (42:40):
They were too young for that. They was born after
he said, he just said daughters, all right, Pearl Jam
that's not nope, Pearl Jam is daughter all right?
Speaker 1 (42:52):
All right, John Mayer. So obviously Backstreet boys there.
Speaker 6 (43:00):
And here's a bet, Middler, scary miss.
Speaker 5 (43:02):
Doesn't hurt pickle ball usually, especially from a distance. From
a distance, that's great, that's a great tash.
Speaker 15 (43:17):
Tell the rest of the story.
Speaker 6 (43:18):
What happened the guy got you didn't say how he reacted,
did he care?
Speaker 15 (43:23):
Did he yell at the guy?
Speaker 1 (43:24):
What happened after.
Speaker 2 (43:27):
It turned around and like glared and then realized it
wasn't on purpose, you know, but he was. He was
more embarrassed and he got nailed in the back of
the head because he turned around too fast.
Speaker 5 (43:37):
By the way, I'm scary.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
Scary.
Speaker 35 (43:39):
Scary is wrong, Okay, scary. You have a tire package
for your car. You have an interior designer taking care
of your new apartment. You get bottel service when you
go to the club. You have white glove furniture service,
when you have furniture delivered. You pay people to install
shower doors and lightning fistures and shells and whatever else
(44:03):
you want.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
Where are you going with this?
Speaker 6 (44:04):
You look at the lime washed walls and you don't
have Apple Care.
Speaker 35 (44:08):
You put your password in the note section.
Speaker 4 (44:11):
Yeah, I fucked up, not gonna lie. I cut corners
in life and AppleCare is then where at the end
of the line. That's what the joy of the line is?
Sand without how you?
Speaker 5 (44:22):
How have you not hired a password professional that you
can call up to give you your password?
Speaker 2 (44:27):
Listen, never again? I guess what this phone right here,
this's got Apple Care on it. Not fucking around anymore?
You know what, You'll never take it again? What You'll
never break your phone again now that you have Apple Care.
Speaker 35 (44:41):
Thirty I think that some credit is due. I think
that it was a really good thing that you went
and returned those books. They were unused. I know it
was past the sixty days, but I'm sure that somebody
is going to get good use out of those books,
no matter how old they are. But I'm a little
concer learned about you, because it's not like you at
(45:02):
all to walk out of a restaurant and not get
free dessert after you've been wronged, not once, but twice.
Speaker 1 (45:09):
Feeling okay, that's the third person asking if you're okay.
Speaker 5 (45:13):
I feel like I'm slipping.
Speaker 2 (45:15):
I feel like, yeah, I'm gonna I think corporate needs
to be contacted and I need to work this out,
so to speak.
Speaker 31 (45:25):
And that's not Uh, you're trying to be a better person.
We don't want you being a better person.
Speaker 10 (45:32):
Go get that pres art.
Speaker 1 (45:34):
Yes, ma'am.
Speaker 5 (45:34):
Okay.
Speaker 8 (45:35):
So here's what you do, Brodie.
Speaker 31 (45:38):
You email corporate, You get the gift card they're going
to give you, go back to the place, order the
sandwich again.
Speaker 9 (45:44):
This time, say.
Speaker 31 (45:47):
Like to the water, who are worked whoever's taking it? Listen,
they messed it up the last two times. If they
mess it up this time, how about it's on the house.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
I shouldn't have to say that in advance. It better
be it this point right now. He broke for this,
and she cut off. She had cut off.
Speaker 13 (46:05):
Brody, he broke for this, and it's always Brillian scary Brody.
Who is this person you are becoming?
Speaker 36 (46:13):
Now?
Speaker 13 (46:13):
Don't get me wrong. I understand every story is not
a rant, and I understand you cannot blow up every time.
But the second time around, you didn't say anything. What
grape soda has still left on the French at this time?
Speaker 6 (46:27):
What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (46:29):
No dumplings for you?
Speaker 15 (46:31):
Where do we draw the line?
Speaker 1 (46:32):
Where is the brook before this?
Speaker 13 (46:34):
And is always brilliance?
Speaker 10 (46:36):
Scary scary?
Speaker 13 (46:37):
Who the kids you're always talking about or too or
whatever it is you talk about the kids all this
kids out the Who are the kids?
Speaker 1 (46:45):
Your nephews, your your your? What kids? These days? Who
are the kids?
Speaker 10 (46:50):
Kids?
Speaker 13 (46:52):
And always carry Uh it's not that I'm only leaving
so many talks about He said that you guys don't
ask us to comment un stuffed. So unless you ask
us to comment in seven different sting, then I will
definitely leave seven talkbacks. Don't tell me, don't tell me.
I'll send you the dog top Dog.
Speaker 1 (47:17):
That's four.
Speaker 13 (47:17):
So I have a shout out for you guys from
a little ray of Sunshine.
Speaker 1 (47:21):
She is a listener.
Speaker 13 (47:23):
She's gorgeous, but she's married, so stay back and uh,
she just listens. She sometimes comments on the Facebook page,
but she doesn't really leave any talkbacks.
Speaker 15 (47:34):
So she wanted me to deliver a shout out.
Speaker 13 (47:38):
Shout out to Bridian and Scary or its better known
as Bridi in Scary and Scary and Bertie.
Speaker 1 (47:43):
All right, what's her name?
Speaker 5 (47:44):
I have a question. We didn't tell her name. Good
shout out.
Speaker 2 (47:48):
I like it the way he says, she's really attractive
and she's cute or whatever he said. He goes, but
stay back, she's married.
Speaker 1 (47:55):
Who is he talking to I don't know, not this podcast.
Maybe you know he's fighting it enterdeement. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (48:05):
He's talking to himself. All right, Well, neither one of
us is going after whoever she is. So I I'm
glad she's married. Oh she's happy.
Speaker 5 (48:13):
Good far.
Speaker 1 (48:15):
Is this number five?
Speaker 6 (48:17):
No?
Speaker 1 (48:17):
I don't think.
Speaker 10 (48:18):
Hey God, it's me again. You know, Scooty.
Speaker 19 (48:21):
Concerning your little ring around the ceiling there, you know,
I think that's on you, buddy, because if you wanted
those lap fixtures lowered and painted underneath you or above them,
you should have discussed that with Marble Mike before he
started doing the painting. You know, he probably would have said, Okay,
I'll do it, but it's gonna be a little bit
extra charge. Or he would have said, no, I don't
(48:42):
do that because it's electrical and you know, it's a liability.
And you could have made a decision on either mar
or Mike continuing with the job, or you know, you
could have hired somebody else to do it, you know,
maybe like the guy that's gonna replace your light fixtures,
slippery peat or whoever.
Speaker 10 (48:58):
You're gonna have to do it, you know. But anyway,
you know, if you ask yourself one question, what color
is the ring? Why? Right?
Speaker 19 (49:06):
So if you wouldn't be so boogie and wanting to
reproduce the Sistine chappel on your ceiling there and pack
your ceiling white like everybody else in the world, you
wouldn't have this problem that you're bitching. No, you're right,
you know, but I could see it if you know,
marble Mike got paint all over your lack textures when
he was trying to paint around him. But he didn't
(49:27):
because you're not bitching about that, So that means he
did a nice clean job.
Speaker 10 (49:31):
He did his job. It's just you that you didn't
specify exactly.
Speaker 1 (49:34):
What you wanted.
Speaker 19 (49:35):
But you know, anyway, the ring is white, So all
you got to do is get some big old cotton
balls and put in white paint and then blot it
all over your ceiling, you know, and it'll look like clid. Hey,
you know, make the best out of that situation. You
know you can get the old one Beldad to go
over her and do some paintings up on your ceiling there.
Speaker 10 (49:56):
I'm pretty sure he'll go with her and get you
a good price. And you know, ask Clorin.
Speaker 19 (50:00):
I'm pretty sure she can find it in your bank
account there somewhere where you can afford it to get
all that done there and reproduce the Sistine chapel on
your ceiling. Right, but anyway, you know, be positive about it,
and remember next time, specify exactly what you want.
Speaker 4 (50:15):
Thank you, mother Trucker. That was for I appreciate that,
and next time I will. Next time, I will.
Speaker 5 (50:23):
Next time you move after twenty years, right, I think
I'm gonna be here a.
Speaker 15 (50:27):
While, Brooklyn boys t way, I'm a few episodes. It's behind.
Speaker 36 (50:31):
But talking about the comics, return to Barnes and Noble
doesn't even register on the list. If returning the Mattress
was at seven, this is like a zero doesn't even register.
Who cares, we're going to sell it for whatever they
gave it to broken. I wouldn't have thought to return it.
I would have just been like I missed out here.
But that's a genius move, and a man of the
people doing additional research for the Walkers and Talkers podcast.
Speaker 2 (50:53):
I believe at least the mattress was current and still
in stock. This is shit that they haven't sold years.
That's not true.
Speaker 5 (51:01):
People buy comic books all the time, but this is this.
Speaker 1 (51:04):
Is out of print. These are what's not the comics.
Speaker 5 (51:08):
It's not scary, it's scary. Here's way you pull the ripcord.
Speaker 2 (51:11):
You don't know anything about comic books, you don't any
but they're walking dead. People buy them all the time.
These a paperback.
Speaker 4 (51:16):
Versions, right, they're collectibles, right, Yeah, they're just they're yellowed,
the pages.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
Are yellowed everything. No, they're not brand new perfect tea
White continues.
Speaker 15 (51:26):
But I do have a similar situation to both of you.
I broke an Apple Watch.
Speaker 36 (51:31):
It was twenty eighteen, right after seeing Avengers Infinity War,
I remember, and I reached out the window to wave
to someone in my car and it snapped off and
the whole thing shattered.
Speaker 15 (51:41):
Had it for less than.
Speaker 36 (51:42):
Thirty days or whatever it is, but I still had
the opportunity to add the Apple Care. So I added
the Apple Care for one hundred bucks, waited a week,
brought it back to the store.
Speaker 15 (51:51):
And said, all right, Broke, I have Apple Care and
they sent me a brand.
Speaker 1 (51:53):
How good. I agree with that.
Speaker 2 (51:56):
I think that's better than what Brody did. No nobody
talk about he committed insurance fraud.
Speaker 1 (52:02):
No he didn't.
Speaker 5 (52:03):
He had insurance right the definition of insurance fraud.
Speaker 1 (52:07):
He wasn't faking. He didn't break it on purpose to
click money.
Speaker 2 (52:11):
Lied about the watch being in good condition, and then
put an insurance policy on it and then claimed it
was broken after the insurance that. Look, I'm not judging you,
t White, I'm just saying that is the definition of
insurance fraud. I give him a six on that.
Speaker 16 (52:28):
Lit bitches.
Speaker 19 (52:29):
I waited half a day before him did another talk pack.
Hopefully it counts and I can do another one. But anyway,
you know, I wanted to go back a couple of
episodes when Old scootered and lost his home because he
lifted on top of his car. You know, my family
had something similar to that happened to us. You know,
we used to be cat people. Now we're dog people.
But anyway, we used to have this real nice cat.
Speaker 10 (52:50):
His name was Jojo. He was bringing White. Kind of
reminded me of a real nice cat.
Speaker 19 (52:56):
I loved that cat. You know, we rescued him over
from the animals, got him over at pitt Smart not
a sponsor, by the way, But anyway.
Speaker 10 (53:03):
You know, we used to have an STUV and we'd
park it underneath the car port.
Speaker 19 (53:08):
And then you know, time came around and my wife
had to go pick up our daughters over at school,
you know, in the afternoon.
Speaker 10 (53:15):
You know, by the way, I got three daughters, just
like you, brot. I think you have two, but I
have got nothing but daughters. That's we got that in
common there.
Speaker 19 (53:22):
But I don't think we can be friends because because
I wear flip flops and you don't care for people
that wear flip flops.
Speaker 10 (53:29):
So I guess we can never be friends there body.
Speaker 19 (53:31):
But anyway, you know, back to the story, you know,
So it just so happened to my wife and in
the rush, you know, to go pick up our daughters
at school, and then she took a turn, you know,
kind of fast, and she says, he just saws some
fly off of the roof of the truck room.
Speaker 10 (53:45):
So it bah after that we couldn't find old Jojo anymore.
Speaker 19 (53:50):
So I guess he was napping on top of the
truck you know, come on, yeah, we love that old
fort anymore.
Speaker 10 (53:56):
I love that get After that, we just gave up
and we game dog people. But anyway, you know, before
before you cut.
Speaker 19 (54:03):
Me off and play the jingle, you know, I wanted
to say, Brody, I recommend when you go back to
that restaurant and gave you the raw steak, you know,
next time try and order it medium instead of medium rare.
Speaker 15 (54:14):
Maybe you'll get.
Speaker 10 (54:15):
Exactly what you want. Black Scootie says it replace does
it different?
Speaker 19 (54:19):
Okay? And uh oh hold on, wait a minute, hold on,
forgot come oh boy?
Speaker 4 (54:42):
All right you ready for the final talk back? Sorry chucker,
we cut you off on that one. Uh all right,
here we are.
Speaker 20 (54:51):
Yo.
Speaker 11 (54:51):
Ol ways, Brody and Harriet Danny P from BAM. I
work in the automotive industry, service manager to Dodge Dealership.
Brodie would love me, but I checked tips all the
time in marijuana clicker. Money doesn't really matter. I'll take anything,
all right.
Speaker 4 (55:12):
Thank you so much, And see, I guess that this
wasn't a far fetched idea, as you know, as much as.
Speaker 5 (55:19):
We thought a lot of a lot of people like
tis no that I was really.
Speaker 2 (55:23):
Curious to know because at first, I'm like, oh, is
this is really a tip to tip someone a joint?
Speaker 1 (55:29):
Then I thought about it.
Speaker 4 (55:29):
I'm like, you know, it's going back to like medieval
times when there was no currency, so there was just
people would trade like objects with each other. But yeah, no,
that's great, barn the Barner system, is that right? The
Barner system that was called Yeah, but I'm I mean
as far as paying someone in something other than money,
(55:50):
I guess it's more popular than we thought. All right,
who knew?
Speaker 1 (55:56):
Oh brody, Oh that was a long yawn? That was
a yawn? All right, that'd bean. It's time for Betty byes.
I don't know about that. I might be going to
the Yanked game tomorrow night. Could you imagine that?
Speaker 3 (56:12):
