Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi Grenny.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
Shehell, good morning, Luke.

Speaker 1 (00:02):
How are you yeah? And start contrast to that, are
you getting into these Winter Games?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
I have to be honest with you, I am. I'm
loving the highlights because that's all I seem to be
getting time for. It's sponsorship, time for the Hocken and
Feshion awards on sort of busy doing other things, and
I haven't. I have not been sitting down watching it
like i'd love to. Very interested in the highlights of
the news and things like that, and just listening to

(00:28):
you this morning, catching up with everybody. It just it
sounds amazing. Adam's away in Japan at the moment, and
he's going to be skiing over there, and it's hard
to believe, like when we're he here and it's here today.
I'm just getting ready to go out to Wye Murmur
and it's cool. He is, it's Bobby, but it's going
to be twenty seven degrees.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
So we've got struggle.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
It's my dilemmas of today.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
A lot of locals down at those field days. What's
going on with your phone?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Oh? Sorry? Can you know?

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Hear sounds like you're a mid wrestling match or mid.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Ski sorry, Sorry, Is that better?

Speaker 1 (01:07):
I think it is.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
That was my fault.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
There's been a lot of drama away from the sport,
as there always is with an Olympic Games. There's been
protests in Milan and Russian hackers trying to get into
hotel rooms. But did you hear about the Norwegian guy
who won bronze yesterday?

Speaker 2 (01:24):
No? I didn't hear about that.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
So he was up on the podium accepting his medal
and on international tally confessed that he'd been cheating on
his girlfriend and begged for her to come back.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
You've got to be here.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
So he's full tears, and he described her as I
had a gold medal in my life, but now she's
gone three months ago, made the biggest mistake of my life.
Told her about it a week ago. It's been the
worst week of my life, he claims. I assumed that
the incident might have been at the games, that he

(01:58):
was prowling around, but no, apparently it was, Yeah, a
few months back, because I imagine there's got to be
some hanky pinky that goes on in that village, Oh, without.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
A doubt, Well don't they There isn't the hundreds and
thousands of condoms.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Supply you ah not surprised. Well, here's an observation.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Hell, the summer almbak, they's gotta be a bit cold
at night.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Load. Well, maybe it exacerbates it even more. Here's an observation.
How beautiful are all these winter athletes. You see it
from the summer games too, you know, people in the
peak physical condition as you would expect. But these Winter Games,
my gosh, they're stunning. It's like they've been chiseled from
the hand of God himself.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah, I have to I do have to agree that. Yeah,
it will be cold at night though, so that could
put it down from things. But yeah, I can't believe
that guy though. Seriously, what if you hadn't won the medal.
I'm absolutely godsmecked that he would do that.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Like, I mean, it's a very emotional time when you're
up there, you know, I can't believe that.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Oh my goodness, I'm going to have to go back
and watch that.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Do you think she'll take him back? Oh?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Would you?

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Well maybe not for bronze, silver or gold.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
I'd consider it exactly exactly. No, I wouldn't be having
a bar of him. Oh my god, I can't believe
that his parents will be so proud. Good God, you
know I will have to go back and watch that. Definitely, Yes,
hopefully I'll catch it because it was a few more
days to go years, am I right?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Yes there are, and our record for a Winter Games
as three medals, as we mentioned before, Ellis Robinson could
well get to that tonight, and then we've got so
many more hopes to come. I mean, it's just wonderful.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
I was really I kept playing the footage of the
of the forty one year old with the injury for
falling and breaking your.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Leader did acl and then and then got back up
on the slopes. That was a hard watch.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
That was and at forty one, Like seriously, what was
she thinking? I mean, that could be a slow recovery.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Yeah, yeah, but we're all guilty of that, aren't we.
You know, when there's a game of golden all they's
footy and we haven't been out on the field in
a couple of decades, and pre appreciate goes all right,
I'll give it a nudge and then ACC know about
it pretty quick.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yeah, I know, most definitely. But now I definitely intend
to catch a bit more of that if I can,
and yeah, Milan looks amazing.
