Yeah, good morning, Hello. How's your start of the air
being for you? Well into it now under week number six.

I was thinking just before this is the first Friday
I think I've worked this year because it's been so disjointed.
So I've been put to.

I mean he is the strength of the pack absolutely
so yeah, but we've gone into a weekend and it's
all this sort of weird crossover time where there's cricket on,
there's the winter sports, and Super Rugby's back.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Super Rugby back starts tonight seven o five at full
sized bar Stadium in Dunedin, Great South Island Derby as
it always has been, between the Crusaders with thirteen all
blacks in their twenty three man squad against the Islanders
who have lost their till the ron promising rising stars
and Dylan Pledger and Fabian Holland for the season. So yeah,

the Crusaders will start his favorites. But this is the
time that the Highlanders do want to get away to
a good star and maybe just create somewhat of a surprise.
Not being sort of laden with all blacks means that
they've been able to train together a lot more over
the summer time than what the Crusaders have, where some
of their rock stars have probably had a bit of
a well deserved rest, but we'll wait and see. It'll

be a packed house tonight for the Zoo at the
end with university students back in town. Great atmosphere, weather
conditions in the Deep South much better than what it's
predicted to be further north, so great way to start
the Super Rugby competition, followed by the Waratahs and Reds
later on this evening, the Drew of play Moana pacifica
tomorrow afternoon over in Fiji, the Blues play the Chiefs

tomorrow night in Auckland and then the Force take on
the Brumbies later on tomorrow night. So five matches of
Super Rugby to look forward to if you're into a
bit of exercise or if you're into supporting people, plenty
of people at the Coast to Coast started way back
in nineteen eighty three. This is the forty fourth running
of it. No goat passed for the two day event
today because of that weather prediction that is coming in

with that storm coming across the west, so they're going
to take an alternate route over the tear Of Viaduct
and then of course the one day the longest day
is in action tomorrow, so Alex Hunt from Australia and
Devlench from New Zealand, a defending champions, so we'll wait

that double super over. I mean that was unbelievable stuff
in that match. And then they take on Canada on
Tuesday six thirty a bit more friendly New Zealand time
should get through into the top eight for that. Winder
Olympics continue. Kiwi's doing well. Cam Melville Ives is in

action tomorrow morning in the snowboard half pipe final. He's
a metal prospect in the Big Year on Sunday morning
and the qualifying Sylvia Trotter and Ruby Starr Andrews in
action that seven thirty Sunday morning, and then Alice Robinson,
who didn't perform as well as she would have liked
overnight in the Super g She's into the Giant Slaleer,
which is a favorite event, and that gets underway on

Sunday evening ten o'clock. She is a real hot prospect
in that. But as we know, certain things can happen,
and there are a lot of surprises when you see
people like some of Lindsay Vaughn sitting up in a
hospital bed with a fractured leg. Yeah, she hope you're

Come on, it's got to be on the Crusaders. I'm
a bit Upsee you mentioned the wealth of talent that
we've got, that our Dallas McLeod hasn't been able to
find himself a place in the midfield.
