Speaker 1 (00:00):
Relay for Life, which gets under wag ten am on
Saturday morning at the Showgrounds. We'd love to see you
down there, either participating. Today's your final chance to register
reteem through Relay for Life dot org dot nz or
just as a supporter. Now we've been talking some of
the fundraising efforts and no doubt you've been roped into
something around town over the past month. Grantie Sheel had

(00:22):
some great ideas at the end of last week and
then we were talking with Amy Cosgrove before about the
likes of property brokers doing the cheese rolls and also
the good Oil fundraiser. I like that because it's a
practical thing that you need. Q Hawgner we walkie talkies
and our genius idea which is no doubt going to
clean up quite literally. And to help us with this,

(00:44):
we've got Rob Glinney from christ Clean Morning Morning Luke
Uncle Rob Uncle Rob. Yes two you know in this
town which is pretty much most people. And Rachel O'Reilly
from Elscow Uniforms Fresh and Clean. Hello to you, Hello,
how are you? I'm wonderful things because you've come and
armed me with toilet paper. You know what everybody needs?

(01:10):
Toilet paper. I remember and where all this came from.
Back Ashburton Intermediate days. One of the best fundraisers that
I was ever part of was toilet paper sales, although
I do often reflect it was a bit weird dropping
off these bulk packs to teachers that placed in order
after hours. So you turn up to the door and hello,
you know miss whoever it was, he's a fifty pack

(01:32):
of TP that should keep you going for a while. Penny,
what's on venue? So cue the good sorts from Crest
Clean and Elsco uniforms Fresh and Clean, Rachel, We've you
got the sales pitch for us. What are we looking
at here?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
This toilet paper is talk advanced toilet paper.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
This is dust and strength.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
It is definitely it is the same as the cotton
soft that you get at the supermarket. And then with
oil prices and things, that's going to affect the transport
and getting things to the grocery shop. So now's the
best time to actually purchase this because it might be
like COVID and no toilet paper on the show.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Well, that's true. Buying the gas are the natural next
best thing and you can be stocked up here. So
we've got it in a mega pack of forty eight
rolls here. Correct that t keep is going for a while.
What I like is they're individually wrapped.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
They are, and they've got pretty leaves on them.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
And actually esthetically pleasestatically, please.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
No fingers go through this one.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
No, Jim Morrison's here, We're not breaking on through to
the other side. Would which I can't help. But notice
Rach it says two ply.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
It does say to reply on it. But because it's
an advanced one, it is actually a little bit thicker,
and normally it's for corporate commercial it's not sold on
the shelves, but it is pretty much the equivalent to
the three pie that you get. Won't clog your toilets
and block them.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
So it's not that heavy duty. No, it's not that
heavy say.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Good brand of toilet paper. It's made in New Zealand,
Nor Island, so brilliant and the company actually so our
supplier has actually sold it to Olscow Uniforms Fresh and
Clang for half price and we are donating the rest
of it.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
So that's incredibly generous of you.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Purely donation. At the moment, we've got twenty packs sitting
here yes, we do, and we can get more sale.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Sarah in the office would like to see them moved
because real estate for her around the desk has got
rather tight. So I was thinking, here, let's talk some business.
If you work it out at a dollar a roll,
that's what's that? That's forty forty eight bucks. I don't
know why that took me so long? Done with this,
but then that annoys me because if we sell all

(03:48):
twenty that we've got, there's nine hundred and sixty. I
want to break a grand.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Oh why not?

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Because it's for such a great cause. Right, So round
up to fifty bucks? Is that still fair?

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Is that is? Absolutely? Sell it to a lot of
places for over fifty dollars.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Okay, Roch, So you are on the winning ends bargain.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
It's a toilet paper bargain.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Your rear end is getting a winning deal here. This
is a popular pack among your clients, rob because it
is the only.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
One that we sell to cres clean ones.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Why would you bother with anything inferior? Right? Yeah? Nice? Okay,
So how this is going to work? I've got an
order form that I'm working on and that'll be going
up on the haw. Can it we ashburt and Facebook
page tonight and that's we can go and place yours
and every cent of that thanks to the wonderful crew
at Elsco uniforms fresh and Clean and cris Clean is

(04:37):
