Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the Flavor podcast Network. You're listening to Staycissura and
Charlie's off the record.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
What's your record?

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Off the record now? And I realized that my kids
there was stuff I thought was off the record, and
I put it on the record. So the other night,
I've got three kids and there's seventeen, fifteen, and eleven,
and it came up that they went, uh, you know,
Mama replies quicker to one of them, and the others

(00:32):
they reckon. So my daughter's going, well, you know, if
you don't answer, then I have to talk to papa.
I'm like, I never not answer. The only reason I
wouldn't answer is if my phone's on silent and I
missed it, or I'm in a meeting where I really
can't have my phone. But honestly, I'm pretty good. And
then my son decides to jump in the seventeen year
old and go. Mama always answers me straight away. Look

(00:54):
at this first thing this morning, I Miss Schutan said
could I have you know, some money for lunch? Because
he wasn't able to take his and he goes in.
Three minutes later, she says years and they're like way,
And I said, hang, on a minute to the fifteen
year old.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
So because I have this discussion right in.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Front of us and crazy and alleging of course that
I reply more quickly to one than the others. But
then I go to the fifteen year old, Okay, let's
have a look at how you never reply to me,
and she goes, what do you mean? She looked at
one from last week? This is big heartfelt message from me,
No reply, Another one going asking a question and suggucing

(01:32):
something she could do the next day because she was
in camp for the Kupaka Nationals. No reply. So five
hours later I go, poor Mardia, courts it or love
you like? You know, good night, love you and she goes,
love you like. So that's all I got back in
six hours.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
So I know you really want a daughter, Charlie. But
this is what happens fifteen years later.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
You know what, It's funny you mentioned this, say, because
my boys a similar You will send them a message
and sometimes in the morning when I'm at work and
I know my kids are sleeping, so I try to
send them something positive in the mornings, or I make
a phone call and to me, I'm like, I'm making
an effort here to send them this message, but I

(02:16):
missage them via Instagram, you know, so then when I misses.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Them, it's not actually Instagram age.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
But anyway, yeah, when I miss them on Instagram, they
give me the scene I know, and like for me,
I'm like, bro, well why because I'm pouring my heart
out here boys, and you know, when I leave home
and I give them a kiss in the morning, bro,
their faces are nice and warm. Meanwhile I'm getting into

(02:42):
my car and it's cold. But then again, I'm like,
this is my wife, and I gotta message them and say, guys,
enjoy school, have fun, learn heaps or this whole carry on,
and I get a scene.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Yeah, exactly, because they go, we go here, we are
going out to work for you, and they go, what
you do for job is talk.

Speaker 1 (03:05):

Kingdom of Fraud

Kingdom of Fraud

It’s the unlikeliest of criminal partnerships: a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect joining forces with a shadowy Armenian tycoon from LA. The result - a billion dollar fraud conspiracy. In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
