Speaker 2 (00:17):
Welcome to you, boo, Hello, Hello, how are we to not? Oh?
Pretty good? Actually? Yeah, what's your story?

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Well? I was living in Sydney, the suburb called above.
The above man he is called fear Light and Peter
used to well his his mum used to stay just
four doors down from me. So I used to see,
you know, quite often, this Peter.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Garrett, Peter Garrett from Midnight oil Ah Wow.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Then every now and then across the road was the
fourth Square store. Every now and then I bump into
him and there, mate, what a tour. He's so taught,
I thought, you know, I felt like a little man
and in next to him. But yeah, you'd just be

(01:14):
in all of them. I went. I went to his concert, mate,
you wouldn't believe it. It was the best concert I've
ever ever been. I've been through quite a few concerts,
but I'll tell you what. I went six months later
to the Pink Floyd concert, the Pulse Concert. What a
big disapointment.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Oh dear, okay, that's not good.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Nothing's nothing's come anywhere close.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Now, This is interesting because he is very tall, one
point nine to three meters tall as Peter Garrett.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Six for six foot three, six foot four, six foot twice.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
He's very tall for his height. Yeah, now tell me,
was there a four square? Did you say? In Sydney?

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Four square straight across the road on Sydney Road, fear light?

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Good lord? I didn't know they had four squares overseas.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
There you go, that's where it started.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
I thought four squa was a New Zealand thing.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
No, it's not.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Okay, I had no idea. I just always thought it
was a New Zealand quintessential.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
You know. I'd be saying, make your dream.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
And you dream and made.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah. No, that's so.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
What did you yarn with when you saw Peter Garrett?
Did you have a bit of a yarn when you'd
see him in the four square?

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Well, it's just like a normal like good at hell's
it going? Like Pete, here's it going? Yeah, that's sort
of you know, oh, hell're we going? You know? And
that's like little fellow. Yeah. But yeah, they went and
did that power and the passion. They did that underneath
the wool and the lou rail Bridge.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Oh yeah, okay, it's an interesting story, but I do
have to see the research team. They're very quick and
they've come up with a fact here that the Four
Squaars did start in New Zealand, but they did have
some stores in Australia. So all when you're in Australia,
you think everything's started by Australians, things like you know,
Minty's Crowded House week Books, but yet the four Square

(03:17):
is a New Zealand tradition. I didn't realize they had
stores in Australia. Brilliant corboo, How good was that to
be looking up into the eyeballs of Peter Garrett at
one point nine to three meters tall, very tall, indeed,
great dancer and that makes it even more exceptional for
him to move as dynamically and with the speed he
moves with on stage or did quite incredible.

The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
