Speaker 1 (00:02):
Good afternoon. I'm Jody Gill and this is Rman Dane
Newsfax for Tuesday, the seventh of July. The Supreme Court
has overturned the convictions of two men jailed for the
killing of the publican of the Red Fox tavern nearly
forty years ago. In twenty twenty one, a jury found
James Henry Wilson and Mark Joseph Hoggart guilty of shooting

(00:23):

Mara Mareuer in nineteen eighty seven. Jordan Dunn has more.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Open Justice reports. The Supreme Court finds the Crown failed
to establish the necessary standard of proof to find either
accused guilty during the trial. It also failed to prove
the shooting wasn't caused by a third possible suspect, Lester Hamilton,
who has since died. The Court has set aside the
men's convictions, entered judgments of acquittal and there won't be

(00:52):
a retrial.

Speaker 1 (00:54):

Zone and China's action goes directly against the intent of
that treaty.

Of the fundamental things for us and during a people
can move if they need.

to stay off the road. Elsewhere, heavy snow has been
leving people stranded at Lake Techipo and black ice has
been affecting White Taki District. The Media Minister is encouraging
companies to go out and make deals, similar to a
newly signed deal between Microsoft and Australia's Nine Media Paul

(02:12):
Goldsmith sex New Zealand Media Company should be hustling for
similar deals or if.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
That doesn't work then maybe the government can get involved.
