Weather on the country with Fiji, where happiness comes naturally. Okay,
let's wrap it with Phil Duncan from where the watch
on a Monday field day's forecast for this will take
all of two seconds. It's just gonna be fine. That's
the one good air word. The bad air word is fog.
Could there be some issues at the airport this week?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Yeah, good day, Jamie. Yeah, I'm just looking at the
fog forecast, would have got at ruralweather dot co dot
zen and it certainly looks foggy. The risk of fog
around Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and so that could be
a problem at Hamilton Airport. Hopefully it's not. It's likely
to break up at some point in the mid morning,

(00:41):
but yeah, that could be a problem. And it's gonna
be quite cold at night, especially for Wednesday night going
into Thursday, overnight low of one, so there could be
a frost around.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
So well, there could be three airwords there, you go, fine, foggy,
and frosty.

Sha Karra has a press release from the METS Service.
Want to return strong winds, hazard as swells, frosty nights.
But if we're going to get winter early June's not
a bad time to get it exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I think there'd be quite a few regions that are
saying it's finally arriving because we've had such a setled,
mild kind of end to autumn in a number of regions,
especially in the North Islands. So yeah, it's a kind
of a return to where we should be. But there
is a very strong high pressure zone almost what OULD
class is powerful. It's going to be around ten thirty
seven ten thirty eight hectopascals later this week, so that's

kind of what we had in mid to late May,
brought all that settle, dry weather, so there could be
a few showers around, but it's going to be pretty
settle going into this weekend and going into next week,
where all this high pressure around. There's still be some
showers here and there, but the winds will be light.
That's why we're seeing fog and frost in the forecast.
And it may be, you know, not until later next

week that we get another change coming through. We're technically
still in neutral, so anything can happen, but that al
Nino is building, and maybe a word tomorrow about that
one about it being closer to.
