Speaker 1 (00:57):
Bloody good stuff for there, pugsn. Look three days into
me and you're broadcasting together. Man, do you feel like
we're developing as a team? Yeah, man, yeah, yeah totally.
I was about to say our chemistry is better than ever,
and then you've just got to sort of ruined it there. Well, no,
what I said, Yes, I don't understand.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
How are you man?
Speaker 3 (01:16):
You're going all good?
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, man, I'm yeah, yeah, No, I'm going good, brother,
And no doubt, by the end of this three hour
period we will be warmed up, our chemistry will be missing,
and of course the listeners too will be able to
wrap their ears around some of the Big Show's greatest hurts.
What have you coming up there, Pugshan, what's happening on
the Big Show with old tags?
Speaker 3 (01:42):
I'm bringing back one of the most requested segments on
the show. Really, it got made redundant, maybe like four
years ago now, and it's about bloody time. Every live
show we go to they say, can you bring it back?
Can I bring it on back? Can I guess?
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Can I guess what it is? I think it's either
is it chat chat?
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Good? Chat chat?
Speaker 3 (02:05):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Oh my god?
Speaker 3 (02:07):
I thought it was time.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Man, we got to kick off with a bang. You
know the people want shit chat. It's got to be
absolutely thrilled. You're telling me that. Every single time we
do a live show, someone comes up and asks if
you could do the sigmaz? What on my life?
Speaker 3 (02:22):
Okay, it's either it's at the live show or it's
in the Hockey Big Show Instagram, DMS. I'm getting requests
for people from people to bring back chat Chat.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
So here we are, man, this is that. This is
what you ask for, Man, I'm looking forward to it, Pugs.
Hopefully it'll remind me of why we guess that segment
in the first place. Well, also, we've got another opportunity
to get yourself from the drawer to join us in
Wellington for beer, Varna, flights and accommodation. Listen out for
the qu to call Reeburg of ourchers galore, and of
course today's Daily Goat match up. Yesterday, the Daily Goat Matchup,
(02:52):
of course celebrating the Goat, which kicks off on Monday,
was our greatest of all time. Love songs, Pugs, what
is what is today's theme? Today's theme?
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Well, yesterday I was pretty subdued and romantic and honestly
pretty erotic. So today I thought we'd pump it up
a notch and go our wrestling entrance songs.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
Yeah, okay, so if we were to enter the ring
and WW what song would play? If anyone's got any
good suggestions, give us a text on three, four eight
three the bedtime, it's rips of uneshugs. Yeah, let's go
into the stone age.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
I don't know, man, Yeah, you do The Hierarchy Big
Show week days from four on Radio Hot.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Thursday afternoon on The Hidicky Big Show. But a vervepipe
for you there, Keezy and Pugs with you. Another best
of the Big Show moment. And as I said before,
this is one of the most requested segments that we
put away up on a very high shelf at the
request of our boss. But I'm bringing it back for
you for one time only. This is the Hidaky Big
Show shit Chet from twenty twenty two.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
Oh god.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
The previous voice break, we were talking about our gym
workouts there, Mike, Mianog, you and I we're doing some
serious weights. Yeah, there's no question about that. You've had
a bit of a blow Well, you haven't had a
blow out, you're just a bit sore.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Yeah, I've had.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
I had a bit of a blow out in the
old neck there, which actually begs the question, when was
the last time you shot yourself?
Speaker 6 (04:14):
Yeah, well, the prolapsed anus that I had as a
result of the league press and I just gave it
too much that was touching cloth.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
No, no, so you lie down on your back sort
of thing. Oh yeah, you're pushing a way away from you.
But yeah I sort of got a bit.
Speaker 6 (04:34):
Yeah I got a bit squashed there, but genuinely my
pant you're saying shit.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
Yeah yeah, yeah, would have been recently.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (04:45):
You never go that long, Never go that long. I
don't like to go too long without shading myself.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Yeah yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
It just it keeps you real, you gets you down
to this.
Speaker 6 (04:54):
Yeah, I mean, what kind of you know up them
cell pompous, arrogant goose goes around with clean Andy's twenty
four seven.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
Know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
It feels like you've you know, you've done a proper workout,
doesn't it? It does seriously for me. Last time I
shut myself it was GM related in the sauna. Oh yeah,
because you get so you know, when you're doing those
sort of weights, you get very relaxed, you know what
I mean? And I just totally unwound and then bo douge?
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Did do? Did do?
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Was that the noise of it in the Fortunately I
was wearing a towel, which caught my what about you keys?
Even when was the last time you ship yourself.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Is this really what we're Okay, it's going to be
over fifteen years ago, longer twenty years ago.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
I look, if you're gonna lie about it, there's no point.
What do you mean.
Speaker 6 (05:43):
You're you're not going to be honest about to make
what we're here as you know, as men trying to
create an open dialogue.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
You know, men have got to be more honest. Keys,
And if you're just going to bullshit this.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yeah, well there's no point his name point, But how
do you know? I know that if I if I
went to the text machine three four eight three, we
get some honesty there, you know what I mean? But
fifteen twenty years ago, well.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
I didn't realize I was supposed to prove myself so often.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
Are you telling me you share yourself when you're fifteen.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Now, it would have been oh here we go.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
Yeah yeah, yeah, interesting.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Probably I don't know, because that's right you were saying
when you were primary school and stuff. That was the
old shitter keys.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Yeah, poopy, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I can see while
we get rid of that segment, pug Son, you know
what last lastly back to it?
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Yeah, letsten back. I also kind of get it. But
at the same time, you know what you got to
You've got to give the people what they want. Man, Well,
let us know three four eight three was that great content?
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Or should it be put back into the storage cupboard
never to see the light of day ever again? Shat
chat great shout.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
If we get heaps of texts, we might read something
out and also everyone on the drawer for a fifty
to rebiog year.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
Actually we want to hear from you good stuff, pug Son.
This seriously, this is an epic shune valve? Is this slither?
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Yeah? Wasn't this one of your throbers quite recent?
Speaker 7 (07:04):
Yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (07:08):
The hold Aking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Hod Acual Link two on the Huducky Big Show Thursday
afternoon with Keezy and Pugshan.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
The Daily Goat Red May CAZy O p.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
That's right, The Daily Goat celebrating and getting fizzed up
for the fact that the greatest of all time countdown
is just a few days away. It gets underway eight
am August seventeenth. Still plenty of time to vote. Text
the word goat right now to three four eight three
follow the link. You can also hit the haduky dot
co dot m zid now. Yesterday's Daily Goat, it was
Pugs and Me going here to hear putting forward our
greatest of all time love songs, wasn't it, Pugs?
Speaker 3 (07:48):
That's exactly right, Kezy and I've got the pole results
right here.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Okay, So do you want to hear what the winner was?
Speaker 4 (07:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (07:54):
Had me? Who was the winner?
Speaker 3 (07:55):
The Goats the Goat love song? Ah Green, that's right, man,
And that's mishal right there.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
That is a post special. I love that song. It's
actually that's a fun fact about the big shows. I
think all four members really love that song. I what
I'll say to you is that was our closest poll
maybe ever. It was literally a five percent difference. Wow, Okay,
I went Barry White, so to lose out for Barry
White to lose, I went more sixy yeah, Whereas I
(08:25):
feel like that our green song is sixy but can
also be a love song, whereas Barry White's just straight
up on the nose. You know you know what, man,
maybe Nick some if we do goat sixy song, you
can pick that one. I will, I will, indeed, no,
I usually go song two by Blur that's real sixy Yeah,
it's also a minute fifty long. Okay, So today's today's
(08:45):
great daily goat head to hit. The theme is wrestling
entrance songs. We asked people to tix through on three
four eight three. If they were wrestlers and they had
to choose the song, what would the song be? Just
look at the text machine now, pugs, it's all go
a lot of people in the drawer for fifty dollars
with the reburger. James ticks through walk by pan Terra.
But I wouldn't walk. I'd sprint out at full speed.
Speaker 4 (09:09):
Oh yeah, that's terrifying.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
That is terrifying. This bit here and then boom, just
sprint out full speed. There's straight to the ring.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
That's the right kind of song with the right kind
of build up for a wrestling entrance.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
It is.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
You'd have to really back it up though, you know
it's it's a real statement. Absolutely, here's a great text
on three four eight three. I don't have a nomination
for myself, but I've got one for Hoidi j he
should come out to gravel Pit And that's from ta
I've watched from the land of the looks behold the
fair Horse.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
If you've ever been on the hot Achi Big Show
and Swer and you've seen clips of Jace dancing, it's
usually to this tempo. You know, he does that like
weird hand wavy thing.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
He's a big Wu tan guy, and I love the
idea of Wu Tan playing and then Hoidi j running
out his you know, five of his steps equaling the
same amount of stif that a regular man would take
in his homeman's boots, yeah, and his woman's boots. That's right. Look,
I'll go first today, Okay, yeah, yeah, Now, I am
aware that my goat wrestling entrance song is kind of
(10:13):
similar to a very very famous and well known current wrestler. However,
I don't give a shit because the song rules. It's
by Metallica. Play it, I know, I know.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
That's where everybody in the crowd looks to the entrance.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
The lights go up. That's right, and here's old kesy
oh Keysy's there.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
He's on all fours. He's looking back over his shoulder.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
How did he do that so quickly?
Speaker 3 (10:41):
Wait?
Speaker 4 (10:41):
How's he going to get to the ring?
Speaker 1 (10:43):
I'll just crawl down backwards, slowly down the ramp towards
the ground shoulder. That's terrifying. That is for whom the
bell tells. And that is my nomination for the daily
Goat Wrestling entrances.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
Very very theatrical choice. Keysy, Well, I've gone for something
that I quite like.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
This is Limp Biscuits. Stay your way, mother.
Speaker 7 (11:04):
It's just one of those days.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Because that's what I'm gonna do to you when I
get at the ring.
Speaker 7 (11:12):
What does it?
Speaker 1 (11:12):
Break stuff? Yeah, break stuff on Limp Biscuit. It's an shune.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
No matter what you think about Limp Bisket, that song
absolutely rips nus.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
It does once again. Both of those songs are huge
tunes and we bit of back it up when it
comes time to throw it down in the ring. Watch
one Do you prefer? Text us three four eight three
every text and the draw fifty bucks Reburger The.
Speaker 5 (11:31):
Hdiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune in
week days at four on Radio hold ikon.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
It's the Hidarchy Big Show, Oasis wonder Wolf for Thursday afternoon.
You've got Kezy in Pugs Full Show back together Monday
and the Goat Countdown gets underway then as well. But
in the meantime, Caezy, we are diving deep, deep into
the archives here of the Hidarky Big Show.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
And just a reminder, you can actually hear every show
the Fellers have ever done. So you can hear this
stuff for yourself by searching a Hodaky Big Show where
you get your podcasts from.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
But this nigs.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
But look we're getting what are we eight months into
the year now, it's probably time to start thinking about
your summer board. And this time two years ago on
the Hodocky Big Show, Hoody Jay was doing exactly that, you.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Know, Fellas. I look outside and it's a beautiful day
here in Auckland City and hopefully it's like that around
the country, and of.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
Course except it's raining there.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Well it will be let's be honest, with windy airs
and you'll be freezing your arself. It'll be gray and
dismal walking the streets, just going why am I living here?
Speaker 4 (12:28):
This is just hell on earth?
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Sorry, but I don't know about you, guys. What I
know about you, Maggie because I I'm sitting here in
the studio looking across at you and your magnificent tight
white T shirt. You've just had a bowl of rice
and a boneless breast with no skin on as opposed
to a breast with boone bony breast. They call it
(12:52):
piece of checking out. I know you're back on the
fitness Campaignram, You've got rid of the daries, You've got
rid of the booze, You're going hard and you go.
I'm in the same frame of mind because I look
at that beautiful weather and I.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
Think summer's coming.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Some's coming, man, And so I've got right back into
my fitness campaign. I downloaded a yoga app today. No,
a yoga app.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
Oh yeah, that's a good right that down. It's a
billion dollar idea that.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
You do with a straight back chair, and I'm really
looking forward to hanging in that tomorrow. Also, of course,
I've been going to the gym every day, sometimes twice
a day. One of the things I haven't done because
I need to work on my cardio vascular and so
I went, Jesus, been while since I've been for a run.
So I went for a run today, and boy, what
(13:38):
a rude awakening that was for old hoardia j tim
k in I'm rooted.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
How long is sorry? How fun are you usually run?
Because ten k is quite a run.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Back in the like for a Reagan. When I was
doing it regularly, probably twenty five thirty k would be my.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Standy sort of, so you do a half marathon daily.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
But yeah, I got to ten k, and I mean
I was part of I mean, I could have probably
gone another four or five, but I was like, oh,
I'm going to have to call it here. And it's like, gee,
this is what happens when you ignore your body for
a long period of time and you you get back
into it.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
Yes, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, it's.
Speaker 6 (14:16):
It's a different kind of fitness, isn't it. And it
takes you a while to warm back. And how many
minutes are those caves taking you?
Speaker 2 (14:22):
Generally four and a half five?
Speaker 4 (14:24):
Oh god, that's shocking. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Well I just wanted to take it easy because I
had to blow a hamstring or you know, I'm a
bart on my calves or anything like that. It's just
a gentle joe, like I say. But even that gentle
jog I was rooted. Yeah, absolutely rooted.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
I're in three k's today. Yeah, And I was quite
tired after that because i'n't been running for a while.
I'm going to have been doing it for the last
the sort of three weeks and I was knacked after
three caves. Right, yeah, So the fact that you can
come straight back into it for how long have you.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
Been off it?
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (14:54):
I haven't run for five six years.
Speaker 6 (14:56):
But the thing about Jose's got a natural Runners build
a little bit shorter, you know, natural, that's the truth.
Or the greats are a little bit smaller. Have you
not watch the Olympics, keyzy, you know, great pictoral muscles,
strong upper body, strong arms to really swing them through, right,
(15:17):
massive head, a massive honkre at the front to sort
of cut through the air.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
But also you're missing out my massively muscular ass.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
Oh yeah, that's true. Powers through.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
No I've seen Joe. I mean I can show you no, no, no,
I've seen everything Jason has to offer. Yeah, I'm portraying
like a you know, a runner like Mo Farrah.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
Oh you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
And I just feel like he's built very differently to Jason.
Speaker 6 (15:40):
Well, I mean I think, yeah, we don't want to
get bogged down and appearance is kezy.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
They'll get you in trouble with podcasting standards.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
The point I will hang on.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
The point I was trying to make was that you know,
I understand that a lot of people are probably going
through this process themselves at the moment he is. I
want to know if people out there on three four
eight three text I sat, leave us a give us
a call. Have you started your campaign to look buff
for some question? What are you doing and what are
you doing with that campaign? Because I'm curious to know.
Speaker 6 (16:10):
You're absolutely right, mate, We're only a couple of a
couple of weeks away from spring, and once you're in spring,
you better have a workout regime underway. Otherwise you're in
deep trouble come summer unless you don't care, you know.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
And I'm perfectly happy, happy to help people with their campaigns,
you know what I mean, like a mentor. But I'm
going to get back to my mince and cheese pie.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
The thing about Jason Pugs is that he bangs on
and on about doing all sorts of gym work, going
for runs, doing shuttle sprints, doing cheer yogat and he
looks exactly the same every single day, no changes. I agree.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
I do think he's lying about most of those workouts,
but I know that he's not lying about doing chest
day because those buzzies are consistantly huge.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
They are big buzzies on a small frame. And that's
coming from a man like yourself, Pugs. Now, when you
say that, what are you saying? I've got huge buzzies?
Speaker 3 (17:00):
What's that?
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (17:00):
A queue to call?
Speaker 5 (17:03):
The hold Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
Speaker 4 (17:08):

Speaker 1 (17:53):

we talking there, Chris?
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (17:59):
Very low level education?
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Yeah, in terms of the quality or the agent's heads.
Speaker 6 (18:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:08):

because I'm a huge fan of mums.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
So I'll just put a little esterious.
Speaker 1 (18:31):

to hold the line in the drawer. Been a safe

That's all I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (19:39):

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Yeah, oh yeah, Pugs.
Speaker 4 (20:04):
Hello.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Last night I watched not one episode, but three episodes
in a row, and it was my wife, who was
the one saying we need to keep watching it. The
third season of Australian romantic comedy Colin from Accounts.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
Oh, I thought you were going to say outrageous Fortune,
but yeah, you've raved about this one before.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
So it's a really great show. It's on TVNS in
plus the half an hour episodes. It's about a guy
and a girl and they accidentally have a bit of
a car crash and the dog gets hurt in the
very first episode, and they adopt the dog together, and
so basically the thing that keeps them together is the
fact that they kind of both injured this dog and
now it's their dog. That's very cute, that sounds very wholesome.
It's super cute. And the dog's name is Colin from Accounts.
(20:44):
That's the name of the TV show.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
So ah.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
And in real life too, these two people write the show,
the two lead actors, and they are actually married in
real life, which is super cool.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
I think that's very cute when you get those really
like and they actually come out decent, these projects that
are a collaboration by a couple.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
Yeah, And so first two seasons are really good. The
second season was pretty good. The third season is the
funniest season by far. It is so good. And usually
shows like they start to sort of, you know, taper
off slightly. But the first and second episode of season three,
it was, had some of the funniest stuff I've like,
(21:20):
certainly out of Bossie that I've seen in a long time. Yeah,
very very very good show. It's a good show to
watch with the partner. Half an hour, good laughs, very funny.
Highly recommend Colin from accounts tving Zi plus and I
give honestly, I give that show like four point two
buzzies out of five. It's all really good too. That's
very very highly rated. Well done.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
I'm going to find out something good like that, especially
that your wife can enjoy as well. And now I
went to a gig last night, but on the weekend
I got into a franchise. I got into a franchise
that I was really into when I was in high
school and I rewatched them.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
What's the anime? One again that you're into something? No,
which one is it? This is the Step Up franchise?
Do you remember those movies? The Step Up, the dancing,
the dancing movies. So when I was like thirteen, all right,
like I had.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
I think I had like a step sister that was
like madly into like hip hop and stuff, and she'd
like put me onto all these tunes that they and
then they'd play them in the movies. And my sister
was a fan, and so I got into the Step
Up movies when I was a kid. Right started off really,
so we watched three in a row. So you went
to Step Up to the Streets, Step Up one, Step Up,
Step Up to the Streets, and Step Up three, whatever
the hell it was. Step Up to the Streets is
(22:30):
my favorite because that's got all that like old school
like two thousands kind of production, like the Timberland and
the Loop stuff, and it's honestly pretty pretty dope. It's
pretty dope. But then the third one off a cliff shit. Yeah,
So I gave Step Up a good like three Busy,
Step Up two, three Busies, Step Up three one Buzzy.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
Pugs by the way out. Of all the people listening
right now to Radio Hodarchy, what percentage of them do
you think would be interested in your rating of the
Step Up dance movies.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
I know that they've got the air right up to
the to the what do you call it?
Speaker 1 (23:04):
The wireless, the speaker, Yeah, the wireless. Yeah. If you're
a thousand years old, good work man, watching three.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
I was pretty hungover here.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
God goes without saying these days, doh. Hey, if you
don't want to watch three terrible movies in a row,
but you'd like to go and see a good movie
at the theater, there is a brand new mystery thriller
from jj Abrams starring you in McGregor and and Hathaway.
It is called The End of Oak Street. You can
jump on YouTube, take a look at the trailer see
if you like it. It's in Cinema's Today. Looks me
(23:36):
it does look it looks great. If you like a
double pass to go and see that, we've got a
few to give away, so just text us on three
four eight three. Let us know who you'd take to
go and see that movie, and it could be yours.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
The Hurdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
in week days at four on Radio Hodachy.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
That's right, it is the Hurdarky Big Show for Thursday,
the thirteenth of August twenty twenty six. You've got Kezy
and Hugs with your full show back on Dick this
coming Monday, can't bloody weight in the meantime, This show
right now and every single show ever brought to you
by the good barstards at Reburger, crave worthy street food,
freshly made at Reburger.
Speaker 7 (24:17):
I'm sorry, I I really need help. I just, I
just I think it's really important that everyone knows just
how delicious Raeburger is, because obviously there's stop handcraft and
then like to release load of fries and go my ete.
I just know that fable light and they're changing the
game because it's sad.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Oh god, I hate it when that happens. Reburger delicious. Actually,
I'm gonna go to Reburger to morrow.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
Pugs.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Well, it's an emergency, keezy, so the center to better
put it that way. I'm supposed to be playing golf tomorrow,
but the weather is absolutely terrible. So I was like,
instead of playing eighteen holes of golf and spending like
five hours at the golf course, I'll go to Reburger
and have like a way bit of time. That's right, Yeah,
a way a bit of time. I've been playing five
five hours worth of golf with my mates there. What's
coming up on the show Parks. I understand you'vet another
(25:06):
best of the Big Show moment for us, and it's
quite a pivotal moment in the history of the Big Show.
That's right.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
About three years ago we all decided to put the
Honker jokes to rest.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Obviously that hasn't worked out, but back then we thought
that we were going to put it to rest.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
And then we decided that we would get an actual
cosmetic surgeon and to measure our noses in the way
that he would before doing a rhinoplasty or whatever. And
so this is the moment before the nose results came out.
We're be getting your productions on three four eight three
on who you thought would have the biggest nose, and
then on tomorrow show, I'll spin back the best bit
of the actual results.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
That's right. And also, yeah, well the hang on the
thing about the nose jokes is that it's sort of
permeated throughout the Big Show since it's almost since its inception.
And the reason why it's okay is because myself, mainly,
Mogi and Hoody j massive noses on all three of us. Really, yeah,
so it was just like an open it was just
what's it? It was open season. You could just say
(26:01):
whatever you wanted. If you've got a nose joke, it
was good to go. And I still remember the nervousness
of finding out who had like scientifically the biggest nose yep,
and obviously the relief that it wasn't me. But we'll
play that audio tomorrow. Did you say that specific audio?
Speaker 3 (26:16):
So the results tomorrow, but next it'll be part of
that build up in like Pegele's predictions on who they
thought it would be. And also another thing, I'm a
bit worried I'm turning into Hoidy j but we can
get into that a bit later.
Speaker 5 (26:28):
The Whodarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
in week days and four on radio.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
Hold on Black Keys on The Hidarky Big Show Thursday
Afternoon with Keezy and Pugsan.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
One of the most historic moments in the Big Show's
history was the Great Honker Measuring of twenty and twenty three.
There was a huge anticipation, a big build up and
weeks and weeks of jokes, and so we decided to
get a cosmetic surgeon in. But before that we wanted
to get your predictions on three for eight three of
who in the Big Show has the biggest honker.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
Doctor Juline who is a place of Sgio and he
will be doing an official measuring of the Big Show
noses to decide who takes out the coveted title of
biggest schnozz.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Yeah, we're hoping to put this into bed once and
for all, figure out and have definitive proof that yes,
Mogi does have the biggest nose out of all of us.
A lot of texts coming in on three four A
three vibey To be honest, it's just everyone going in
on all three of us.
Speaker 4 (27:25):
It has It's all over the show. Yeah, that is
that sort of.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
Evenly split the abuse? Or is it is it favoring
one or tother?
Speaker 4 (27:36):
Or is it is it pretty even?
Speaker 1 (27:38):
No, it is pretty even. Mike has the biggest schnozze
cheers Keezy for sure. Minogue the biggest schnozz for sure.
Hashtag Gonzo Mike Minos Keezy aka Grover.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
I haven't heard any haughty jays in there, to be
honest with.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
You, Oh you want some haughty j if we're don't
get by volume, surely it's hoity j It's like a
deformed spud happy to.
Speaker 4 (28:06):
Tell you what snoid it.
Speaker 6 (28:07):
Is, the moving fleshy monolith reported by the astronauts on
the International Space Station.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Are you happy?
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Well, I like the fact that mine have got a
bit more detailed, a bit of pinash about.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
The per is so big it has its own gravitational pull,
making other noses come closer to him.
Speaker 6 (28:25):
Bet Hoities was one of those into the window of
the school bus when he looked out in shame and
the resident bully pushed his head into the wind.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Why was Keesy's nose anoyed at basketball practice? This is
a joke, by the way, Okay, go because it didn't
get picked.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
Speaking of basketball, old keys, let's keep it on nose
Easy had a game last night making yeah shambles.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
Look, keep the text coming in on three four eight three.
The Ducky big Show, Big Pole is already up and
just quickly to what three minutes? You want a quick update? Sure,
Ja's forty five percent of the vote. Holy hell, Kezy
thirty two that could be like three votes. Mike, you're
coming third on twenty two percent?
Speaker 2 (29:12):
Yeah, okay, so hardy j looking like the front runner.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
Wow, good by, No.
Speaker 6 (29:18):
Let me say it is so evening split split on
the on the text machine here, yes, and it's evening
split in the room like it could go anyway.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
Do you know what's weird about that is that it's
evenly split, but your facial features aren't, because like fifty
percent of your face's nose.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
Yeah, I know, and that is that is a weird thing.
Speaker 6 (29:35):
The only thing weirder than that is that you've chosen
to underline that massive hunger of yours with that patchy
shit house.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
I've got to miss this.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
Well, we need to we need to get this sort
of really quick. She's bubbling. Now, she's bubbling.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
I completely forgot that the whole point of getting the
plastic surgeon and was to stop the nose jokes. They
haven't stopped at all. They've just intensified over the last
three years.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Is Yeah, Well, the point was if we knew who
had the biggest one, then that would take out the
open season playing field, and then it would be one
person that might be vulnerable to it instead of just
shots being fired left, right and center.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
Yeah, but you know, why stop a good thing? The
nose jokes continued, And I'll tell you why. It's becoming
an integral part of our show. Pugs hey, speaking of
integral parts of our show. Must have a good tune
to go into here, right, Aha, what about some pil
jam b Yeah.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
The hold Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Speaker 4 (30:32):
Tune in on radio your Daily Goat red Ma CAZy.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
That's right, the Daily Goat and the lead up to
the Greatest of All Countdown, which is back here on
radio Hodarchy kicks off Monday eight am. You can still
vote text, so we'd go to three four eight three
follow the link or it's hood uky dot co dot
z Today's Daily Goat. It's where I put forward a song,
pug puts forward a song, and we're trying to find
the goat of a particular category. Today's category the Goat
(31:06):
Wrestling entrance music song. So if I was to run
out to be part of WWE Wrestling, this song from
Metallica would play, Ay, Yeah, here he comes, and then
all the lights would go down. That's right, Oh keys,
he's there. He's in his job strap. He's jogging down
(31:30):
to the ring.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
So you wouldn't do any of the sort of semantics
at the top end, you know, a little dancy dance
or some you're.
Speaker 1 (31:37):
Don't do any I just I don't do any of
that four play stuff. I'm just straight down to business.
You kind of give that vibe when it comes to
getting in the ring. That's how I operate. Hang on, Pugs,
I know when you get in the ring you like
to fluff around quite a bit to sort of make
up for what the display you're about to put on
in the ring. What song did you choose?
Speaker 4 (31:56):
Again? Man your way mother. It's just one of those.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
Days, Limp Biscuit, because if I'm in the ring, I'm
breaking everything.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
Yeah, nice man, Limp Biscuit.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
There.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
I chose from the Boalto's Metallica. You can vote at
the Huducky Big Shows Instagram story. Now, we've had a
few great texts on three four eight three Pugs, every
single one of them in the draw for a fifty
dollar at Reburger voucher. Great suggestion first of all from Steve.
Mama said knock you out from l ol COOLJ. Don't
call it a comeback, it would be such a great song,
(32:36):
great shout.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
This is l our cool J.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
Before he was on n c I S or whatever
show he was on, I can't remember. Probably his best
song to be honest. Another great shout here. This is
from Andy, who by all accounts must be an angry man.
He's gone for some turnstile. Good Lord, just fury, pure
(32:59):
un adults.
Speaker 7 (33:00):
Fury.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
I'm always advocating for more turnstile on Hodak. We don't
plan it enough.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
I love this. They do, they do rule. And this
is a great suggestion too from Mark. If you're a
fan of the Simpsons, shout out to Homer playing why
can't we be friends? As he walked out to fight
Drideric Tatum. That is an all time throwback Simpson's reference
from the good old days of the Simpsons, the glory days.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
Pugs doesn't get me super jazz, but I get it.
I get it.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
But that was what was great about at home, Simpson
walking out with Mo most his lackers, trainer, keep those
ticks coming three four eight three, feeling it yourself and
the draw fort Reeburger vouchers also Pugs. Just before we go,
I was giving a lovely shout out to make Can
I make a shout out? Is that all good?
Speaker 2 (33:46):
You know what?
Speaker 1 (33:46):
Keysy?
Speaker 3 (33:46):
This time around?
Speaker 1 (33:47):
You can have it, brother, Thanks, I was gonna do
it anyway.
Speaker 4 (33:50):
Thanks.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
Pugs. This one goes out to a bloke by the
name of Jerry. He's a project manager and Todunger. He
works on landscaping. Just a lovely message from his part
and the Petra saying love you doll and keep up
the good work. Didn't you date Petra for a while? Pugs.
Speaker 5 (34:07):
The hood Achy Big Show with Jon, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days on Radio hod Acale.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
Tune there from Push Push and the Hdaky Big Show
Thursday evening with Kezi and pugsh.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
I've been diving deeper and deeper and now I'm sub
what is it the Mariana Trench, Maranara Trench. Yeah, it's
the Marnara Trench. Now that's my dream kind of trench man.
I've been diving in there finding best bits for your
listening pleasure. And I've gone all the way back to
twenty twenty two now, so I've gone even further back
to this time four years ago. And you can hear
(34:39):
the difference in sound for the show. But it's all good,
It's all gold. This is a classic hold Acke Big Show.
Speaker 4 (34:44):
Yaana.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
When Jason Mike used to work together out.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
On the sea, I was just thinking to myself. You
remember the time you and I we used to we
used to deliver yachts, super yachts, that sort of thing
from one country to another.
Speaker 4 (35:00):
That was some of our best times. I reckon, mate,
it was a Yeah, it was bloody good, wasn't it.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
It was such a free kind of life.
Speaker 4 (35:07):
Just you and me and the ocean and a brand
new boat.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
And what I mean by that, you know, someone would say,
say in the UK or something like that, that have
a yacht that they want to deliver it to New
Zealand and we'd go over.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
To the UK generally quite wealthy, Yeah, generally.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
Speaking, that fly us over there and we'd sailor across
the seas there.
Speaker 7 (35:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
It was very good, very accomplished sailors. Probably people don't
know that about us, That's true.
Speaker 6 (35:30):
We were very good, No, we were, and it was
It was one of those things where you know, as
time goes on, now it seems like the wall will
get smaller and smaller. You totally mean, But when it's
just you and your mate and a boat that you
don't care if it gets damaged versus mother nature, I mean,
(35:50):
you feel pretty small, don't you, mate?
Speaker 2 (35:52):
Yeah, you do you look out that horizon there curling
into the distance.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
It's very humbling, actually it is.
Speaker 1 (35:58):
And you're right, you know.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
The great thing about is that you know, we we're
in charge of delivering it, but I've got beaten up
along the way. I mean, it's neither hend nor there.
Speaker 6 (36:05):
To yeah all here and no responsibility. Yeahs as the
official term, but really it was.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
No cared reviews or you couldn't really review it.
Speaker 4 (36:16):
It was just yeah, this is here, it is man,
yeah exactly.
Speaker 2 (36:21):
And they weren't really sort of doing reviews back then.
Speaker 4 (36:24):
No review action, no, no, no.
Speaker 6 (36:28):
But you remember when we came back and it was
quite good because we're trying to get it back, this
particularly yacht for these people to hit, you know, snobby
bastards if you're honest, totally to have a summer holiday.
But we got back ahead of schedule because we had
a tailwind, which served us well. So Jason and I were.
Speaker 4 (36:45):
Doing sales, I remember, and that a yeah, And so
we went down to the South Islan.
Speaker 6 (36:53):
They have a little geeze around there, as we had
a bit of time up our sleeve and sort of
pested it around up and down a couple of rivers.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
Yeah, yeah, and beautiful.
Speaker 4 (37:05):
And it was a bit weird.
Speaker 6 (37:06):
I remember somebody from Old Dock is that what they
call it, Department of Conversation just went bloody mad at
us one day because we hadn't cleaned the hull.
Speaker 4 (37:18):
We hadn't cleaned the whole. Yeah, like we would ever
do that?
Speaker 2 (37:22):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (37:22):
How am I going to do that? You want me
to go on the water, mate? Yeah, I'm not a
fish totally. I'm not a boat. The boat's the boat.
I'm a person.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
Right, So you got in trouble with Doc, So did you?
Speaker 3 (37:35):
What was it like?
Speaker 6 (37:35):
Stuff on the boat? Well, the thing is, when we
left the boat was as clean as when we got there.
It was covered in this green snot sort of stuff
like an algae. Yeah like that yeah, yeah, like rock snot. Yeah,
that's probably what it looks.
Speaker 4 (37:52):
That's what he said it was.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
And I mean and when it when it was covered
in it, she was covered in it, right, I was
going right up how everywhere?
Speaker 6 (38:01):
Yeah, so he is going, all right, calm down. So
we left and went to a different river, another river,
and then another river and another river. And there's always
these things like clean the home of your moon. And
that's the thing. That's why I sort of yearned for
the old seafear and days, because there was never any
signs anywhere saying clean your bat.
Speaker 4 (38:19):
Yeah, shoes, yeah, carry on.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
Was this like early two thousand and four five year
around there?
Speaker 7 (38:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (38:29):
Yeah, So you guys introduced did he moo into New Zealand?
Speaker 4 (38:32):
Did he moo meet Altero? Yeah? I guess we did. Yeah, right, And.
Speaker 2 (38:38):
I'll tell you what, There's nothing like going to a
beautiful lake down in the south arm of the beautiful
crystal clear water and seeing that rock snot just glistening
in the in the water there. It's lovely, isn't it.
Speaker 4 (38:53):
Yeah, you think to yourself, I did that.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
Yeah, isn't it like an invasive species?
Speaker 3 (39:00):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (39:00):
Yeah? Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
It's everywhere easy.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
Bit a Dinny Mode chat from twenty twenty two. There,
every show we've ever done is available wherever get your
podcasts from. Just search Hiducky Big Show wherever you listen,
and you can listen to classic clips just like that
one Pugs.
Speaker 5 (39:15):
The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
in on.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
Radio Hold Radio hit there on the Hidarky Big Show.
It's almost six PM. This glorious Thursday evening, you got
Kezy and Pugs filling in while Hoidy j and Mogi
are away on holiday. The full show is back in
full this coming Monday, and the Goat Countdown will officially
be underway by that stage too, So it's all happening
Pugs while Horny Jay's away. He's currently up north as
(39:42):
a weather bomb has hit the northern part of the country.
He's up there enjoying it. Yeah, but he's actually got
you house sitting for him. How's it been going.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
Yeah, it's not the first time, but the last time
I did it was a couple of weeks ago and
it was only like two days. This is a bit
more of an extended period. So last it was my
first night last night, and I'm going right the way
through to Saturday. So obviously he has his cat there, Jizz,
So you're looking at his cat, Jizz, So I'm looking
after his jizz. Yeah, and my partner will be there,
(40:10):
but also I have some time where it'll just be
me in the place. She's going away as well. Right,
And there's something different about the last time I did it.
The last time I did it, I think I was
so paranoid about, you know, making sure the doors were
locked and everything was right and the oven was off
and it's not my house and don't touch this and
don't touch that. But because it's my second time around,
I'm getting kind of a different feeling and I'm not
(40:32):
one hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (40:33):
Sure what that is. Is it starting to feel like home?
Speaker 3 (40:36):
It is starting. I'm way more comfortable put it that way. Like,
you know, like, wait, I'm sleeping in Haughty Jay's bed.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
That's interesting, isn't it. It's really interesting.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
But you know, I get up in the morning and
this morning, for example, never done this before in my life,
turn like put my little legs over the bed, and
I just went, Really, you had.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
A big site, and that's interesting. So was there anything
particularly bad you were steering down the barrel of Well,
not really.
Speaker 3 (41:01):
Honestly, not really. I've got a great life, so I
don't know what i'd be complaining.
Speaker 1 (41:03):
Yeah, that is that's Hoidy J. That's Toidy J. Yeah,
because you know, and I had a mate around at
my place the other day. He's a builder who's done
some work for Haughty J as well. Yeah, and he
was saying that, you know, while he was at Haughty
J's place working on the house. He'd just be looking
through the window and Jason just be wandering backwards and
forwards to the fridge, opening it, sighing, closing the fridge,
watching Telly and doing pretty much nothing and having a
(41:25):
great chill existence. Yeah, and then doing a few hours
of radio, and he'd still be sighing and iffing and
jeffing the whole time.
Speaker 3 (41:31):
Mate, I've like halved my commute. I literally live like
in the central CBD.
Speaker 4 (41:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (41:37):
So I don't know what.
Speaker 1 (41:38):
I don't know what my problem was, but I got
up and I just had an air of grumpinis about me.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
So then I go, you know, I go to the ketchup.
I have a coffee machine at my usual place, and
so I figured that I can probably run Jason's one.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
I don't know, it seemed pretty similar to mine. Managed
to burn the milk. Oh really, you did burn the milk. Yeah,
managed to.
Speaker 3 (41:53):
Burn the milk.
Speaker 1 (41:54):
I really really annoyed the messes there. Who was staying
with me?
Speaker 4 (41:58):
Did you?
Speaker 1 (41:58):
Pecka said when you sort of mentioned it. I haven't
talked to her since. Yeah, good, she complained about it.
Speaker 4 (42:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:04):
And also I was looking up at her mess of
because she was wearing these massive boots. Anyway, so I thought,
I've got a bit of time. Obviously, I don't have
to be in here till the AVO. So I was
walking and I just found myself and the WAPs of
Auckland CBD wearing my partner's boots and city wops. Okay,
the WAPs of Auckland CBD, you know what I mean.
Like a ways away, I was on my way to
work and I managed to get lost. I ended up
(42:26):
at a hot pot restaurant around the corner with my
hands behind her back looking at the menu there.
Speaker 1 (42:30):
Wow, okay, did you partake in the hot pot? I did?
Speaker 3 (42:33):
I did, and it was nice and spicy, And now
I'm going to go tell everyone about it and not
shut the IF up.
Speaker 1 (42:38):
Yeah, okay, okay, Well this is this is answering a
lot of questions because I did notice, and I was
gonna have a chat to you about this. Before we
came on here, you were saying quite a lot of
racist stuff.
Speaker 5 (42:49):
The hold che Big Show with Mike and Kyzy tune
in week days at four on Radio Hold I Can.
Speaker 1 (42:55):
It is the big show for Thursday. The thirteenth of
August twenty twenty six. You've got key is he in
Pug's son? Hoiy jam Magi. We back on deck come Monday. Regardless,
the Big Show always brought to you by Reburger.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
Seven Good Times and good food, dining or take away
Rebig Gear today.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yah yah yam yam, Pugs.
At this time of the show, we usually discussed what
is for dinner. I'm not sure if you were around yesterday.
While I was trying to choose a restaurant to take
my parents out for dinner, no, because basically they are
very aware of all the restaurants around us, and I'm
trying to pick one right, and so I was like, well,
why don't we go here for dinner? And I've got oh,
(43:34):
that's not very good there anymore. I'm like, okay, what
And then I was like, Okay, I've booked to go here.
It has really good reviews and I feel like eating Mexican.
And then they were like, oh no, no, don't go there.
We went there a few months ago and it was
really bad, and I was like okay, and they booked
another restaurant. They were like, oh, we went there last week, so.
Speaker 3 (43:50):
You were never going to win.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
At what point do you just say, okay, well you
guys pick well because it's meant to be for my birthday. Yeah,
so I just said, well, look how about this one.
Here's Italian. It seems nice and oh yes, we love
that restaurants. Okay, great, Okay, we found it. It took
four goes, but we found the restaurants. We're gonna win that.
They're block walling you from your own birthday choice. It's
what it's what parents are allowed to do. Pugs. You know,
(44:11):
they've got their little quirks, and to be fair, the
reasons are all pretty valid. They were like, oh they've
got a new owner now a new ship, but it's
not as good anymore, that sort of stuff, you know, right, Okay,
fair enough Italian? What are you because you're your house
sitting houghty J So you're in the CBD.
Speaker 3 (44:26):
Yeah, I'm in the CBD. But I did go out
for dinner last night. I had a beautiful mushroom dish.
These sort of they were kind of dumpling dumpling shape,
sort of ravioli things. But tonight it's just a quiet
night and at the Ji's Palace so I'm going to
have a past to sell it with my partner, but
a pisto, but of ravioli and some cause shit things
(44:48):
like that.
Speaker 1 (44:48):
Yeah, it would be good. It's lots of greenery, lots
of edge. Should it be young? That sounds delightful, Pugs?
Speaker 4 (44:53):
It does?
Speaker 1 (44:55):
It weirds me out, like it's fine? But what like
I can't imagine sleeping in hoidy j bed or sleeping
in Mogi's bed, or me sleeping in your bed or
vice versa. Like it's a bit weird, don't you think?
You know what? Man?
Speaker 3 (45:06):
I have been doing my best not to think about it,
so maybe we shouldn't either.
Speaker 1 (45:10):
Okay, you what you know? You're getting up to any
mischief from their bed, Pugs? Or is it just like, no,
this is haughty Jay's you know it's all above board.
I am not at liberty to say, ah, Pugs, you
daddy Ben, excuse any Jay's bed? Excuse me?
Speaker 4 (45:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (45:27):
You Stallion, you Stallion.
Speaker 4 (45:30):
God.
Speaker 1 (45:30):
Hey, this song goes out to Pugs. She hard, she
real hard? My right, Pugs, No, you Stallion.
Speaker 5 (45:38):
The Hiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
Speaker 4 (45:41):
Tune in on radio.
Speaker 1 (45:44):

Hoduki dot co dot nz. Now we've reached the final
(46:04):
best bit of the day.
Speaker 3 (46:06):
Obviously there'll be more tomorrow when we come back here
at four pm, but I wanted to finish with a
real banger, and it wouldn't be right if I didn't
bring back arguably the great well at least top three
Big Show improvs of all time, one one that my
partner still quotes to me to this day. And I'll
let you listen and figure out exactly what that quote is.
Speaker 4 (46:28):
Why not It sounds free lines, camera action. Now it's
time for the Big Show prom So good, yeah, man,
that's really good.
Speaker 1 (46:42):
If you don't know what this is, basically a segment
where Jason Mike, with their decades of acting experience, teach
me how to to the hot indeed, Yeah, between you
one Actor of the Year award, which is pretty cool,
so bad. Yeah, but you teach me about improvising because
that's pretty important in the acting game, isn't it.
Speaker 2 (47:00):
It is? It is.
Speaker 4 (47:01):
Hearing is the most listening, Jase is the most important thing,
isn't it?
Speaker 2 (47:05):
Indeed?
Speaker 6 (47:05):
It is so before you've got in your head are
the words that you've read off the page and memorized,
and you're just waiting for your turn to say the thing. Yeah,
and your scene partner says something in a completely different
way than You're not reacting to that, are you. You're
just waiting to say your thing. You need to listen, right,
and improv is all about listening.
Speaker 4 (47:22):
Listening. Huh you ready, fellas?
Speaker 1 (47:27):
Yeah, so me and Mike today is yes, you and
Mike okay, keasy?
Speaker 4 (47:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
Upon awakening, notice is a groady looking mole on his body.
Looking into the mirror. He becomes very concerned and decides
it's time to go and see his local doctor, doctor
Murgi duk d Doc Doug.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
Knock knock and come on, in course, what's the mina?
Sorry knock knock, come on? Oh sorry, I couldn't hear you.
I thought that was okod Sorry Dr Mogi. My name
is CAZy.
Speaker 4 (48:05):
I know who you are, mate, I'm being your doctor.
Speaker 2 (48:10):
CAZy.
Speaker 4 (48:11):
Concentrate please, Sorry, I've got this good mate, You've got
a problem.
Speaker 1 (48:16):
Sorry, doctor mogis has been so long I forgot.
Speaker 4 (48:19):
I've got a bit of an injury over the weekend
playing rugby got heaven throat?
Speaker 1 (48:23):
Oh doctor Moogi, are you like sixty four?
Speaker 4 (48:26):
You're talking really weird, mate? What's the problem? You only
got fifteen minutes? Is going to call you? Hang Max.
Speaker 1 (48:32):
Sorry, I woke up this morning and I was looking
in the mirror and I noticed a mole that looks
just a bit off.
Speaker 4 (48:38):
Take your pants off, but it's on my chest off?
Speaker 2 (48:46):
Okakezy begins to get undressed. Not only does he take
his pants off, but he takes his shirt off as well.
Dr Magie is shocked by his burnt meat. Patty nips
All right, wait, I'm just going to take.
Speaker 4 (49:02):
My pants on.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
Hell, why do you need to take your pants off?
Speaker 4 (49:06):
Don't worry about it.
Speaker 1 (49:09):
God, that's stupid. What year was that from Pugs? Three
years ago? That was no, that was two years ago?
Four ran about this time of the year. Yeah, we
should get back to doing improvs where Mogi just suddenly
has a ridiculous voice because it always threw me off
every single time. And you've got to be fast when
you're in the acting game.
Speaker 2 (49:29):
Man.
Speaker 1 (49:30):
You have to listen the Big Show back in full
this coming Monday. In the meantime, if you want to
catch up on every single episode ever for some reason,
sit Hkucky Big Show. We'll get your podcasts.
Speaker 5 (49:42):
From the Hidarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio.
Speaker 1 (49:48):
Hodaki two on the Hidarcky Big Show Thursday evening with
Keezy and Pugs. Right now it's time for We're after
Fast Brewery. Beautiful Pugs. I left your solo there, mate,
and you did not disappoint today's brewery. Liberty Brewing Co.
(50:09):
These guys, Yeah, well, these guys have been around Beer
Varner a lot. In fact, we've been to Liberty's headquarters
quite a few times, had a few drinks there, enjoyed
a few delicious meals. Liberty Brewing Co. They've been cranking
out some of New Zealand's most loved beers for years,
and they've built their reputation the old fashioned way. By
making bloody good beer. And at the end of the day, Pugs,
that's what it comes down to, at the end of
(50:30):
the day. You know, I just met about the marking
and the this and the that, and we used these
mark blah blah the marketing. What are they marking? Hey,
I mean marking of a good beer. When they're marking
the judge.
Speaker 3 (50:41):
Yeah, so when the judge is getting marked, that's how
you're worried about.
Speaker 1 (50:45):
You're marking the judge. Yeah, it just what what Pugs,
What it comes down to is making good beer. All right, Pugs,
can you clap this one off? Cheers brother Liberty? Oh
you're seeing it to Liberty authors sitting it to the
radio Woods from a humble new plumber shed to their
home in Helensville. Master brewer Joe Wood and the Liberty
Crew have become legends of the Kiwi craft beers seen,
(51:05):
especially when it comes to big hops and beers packed
with flavor. Pugs, yeah, flavor, man, me stuff? Do you
do like stuff packed with flavor?
Speaker 7 (51:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (51:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (51:16):
Yeah, good stuff. Hey, this actually this reminds me of you, Pugs.
No gimmicks, no nonsense.
Speaker 3 (51:21):
Yeah that sounds like me, man, Just straight, straight, to
the point, no messing around, just good quality.
Speaker 1 (51:26):
Just bog standard.
Speaker 4 (51:28):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (51:29):
No, I don't know if Liberty's bog standard, Mate, I
would say they excel the old Pugs son.
Speaker 1 (51:34):
If they did have a gimmick, it would be making
delicious beer, quality brewing, plenty of passion and some seriously
award winning drops. Of course, they're going to be at
Beer Varner which is next Friday, and Satdy Down and
Wellington at Henry Stadium. Get your tickets now from Beer
Vanner dot co, dot n z. The Big She'll be
down there to make stually you come, say gooday.
Speaker 5 (51:51):
The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
Speaker 1 (51:54):
Tune in on Radioky It's a Chili's on the Hidarchy
Big Show Thursday evening with and pugshn Pugs play the sting.
What's on the news with me Kizy that's right, the
important news stories from around the world and Pugs this
(52:15):
want to fix all of us, mate. Shrink Flation.
Speaker 3 (52:19):
Oh yes, we've talked about this on the show before.
Shrink Flation. Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 1 (52:22):
Shrink Flation is where you know, to combat inflation and
the fact that everything's more expensive now, companies make their
products slightly smaller and hope that you don't notice. Yeah,
and then usually charge you more for it at the
same time, one hundred percent. Like for example, and I
was at the supermarket the other day and I saw
all Snickers bars are only ninety nine cents each, And
as I got closer to the rack, I went down
(52:45):
and picked one of them up and they were tiny.
Yeah okay, because in my head I was like, man,
chocolate bar for a dollar the good old days. Got
up there and it was like the size of a
tiny little one that you'd, you know, like a baby one.
I'd say it's average size. But yep, sure, man, not
where I come from. Look, the reason I'm bringing this
up was because there was a hoarder house in the UK.
(53:06):
Do you know about hoarding pugs? I'm aware of hoarding. Yeah, yeah,
so hoarding pugs. Yeah, go ahead, people that just don't
throw stuff away and the house becomes cluttered. They're holding
their stuff pugs, right, thank you? Yeah yeah, col weird
that you know. Anyway, So there was a hoarding house
in the UK there and a specialized cleaning service went
(53:28):
around and cleaned it all out. And while they were
pulling out stuff, and sorting through it and helping, you know,
figure out all this admin. Someone came across in the
kitchen a Mars bar from nineteen ninety one. Wow, And
they were literally just going to throw it in the
burn when they reached down and picked it up, and
we're like, wow, that's big, Like that's how I remember
(53:50):
Mars bars, right, And then they weighed it. It was
sixty two and a half grams. They then went to
the supermarket and got the current equivalent and it was
only forty grams. Oh my gosh, over thirty five years
they have secretly got rid of a third of the
amount of Mars bar that you used to get. And like,
this is the proof was very much literally in the
pudding on this one, Pugs, aren't.
Speaker 3 (54:11):
I wonder how much it would have been in ninety
one and what that amount would equate to today, do
you know.
Speaker 1 (54:18):
What I mean? So are you thinking like weight wise
at sixty two and a half grams and weight doesn't
really get affected by inflation, Pugs weights Like it's like,
you know, whatever it weighed in ninety ninety one, it's awagh,
the exact same now. I think you're getting your wires
crossed there. Well, no, because of global warming and stuff,
the gravity changes.
Speaker 3 (54:35):
Right.
Speaker 1 (54:35):
Okay, mate, you've been watching way too many YouTube videos,
are right or were you? Did you mean financially how
much it costs?
Speaker 4 (54:41):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (54:42):
Oh okay, I'm not sure, Pugs. There wasn't a price
tag on it. Great, yeah, yeah, the good news is
good news for Kiwi's Pugs.
Speaker 4 (54:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:53):
In New Zealand, the equivalent Mars bar weighs forty seven
grams instead of forty in the United Kingdom.
Speaker 3 (55:00):
Right, so we get seven more grams.
Speaker 1 (55:02):
We get seven more grams. We've got bootier bars down
here in New Zealand. But it just goes to show that,
you know, secretly, every year if you knock off a gram,
we won't notice. But if you look at it thirty
years on, you get a product from back then. Holy cow,
we've lost a lot of chocolate Pugs. And it's Kezy
that notice us, of course, it's keasy that wow, he
notices the article just literally stealing content from a website
(55:23):
over here. And what was your new story of the day, Pugs?
Oh mine?
Speaker 4 (55:26):
Huh.
Speaker 5 (55:27):
The hold Chy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on Radio hold Ikey.
Speaker 1 (55:40):
That is the big show down and Dustin for Thursday,
the thirteenth of August with Kezy and Pugs and just
one show left to go Pugs and Monday Houghdy J
and Mag You'll be back on deck mate.
Speaker 3 (55:51):
Just what I've got you are.
Speaker 1 (55:52):
We're going to do a throber tomorrow, a throbber tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (55:55):
We're doing the Daily Goat and that's two songs heat hear,
but we're not playing the winner.
Speaker 1 (55:59):
So I feel like we should do a throbber. M
Maybe yeah, potentially that could be interested. Is there a
I remember there was an all time great throbber from
like five years ago that we know. We could do
a throbber if you want, mate, we have gone here
to hear before you and I KEEZYV Pugs Robber, ah
and maybe yeah this is I mean, you've you've asked
(56:19):
me this while we're live on the radio, and it's
really the wheels are starting to turn in my head.
I think we could have some fun with it.
Speaker 3 (56:24):
I'm sort of trying to put the pressure on so
that we do it for the people.
Speaker 4 (56:27):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (56:28):
I didn't want to ask you off here what plan
the show? The good thing too, Pugs. Is what you're
demonstrating now is you're obviously keen to do the trobber
because picking and playing a song is a great honor, absolutely,
and I'll think about it. If we're going to do it,
that's right. And so this illustrates how bullshit it is
when Hoidy J doesn't even try to pick a good song. Yeah,
let's do it. Let's do the throble tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (56:49):
Why not?
Speaker 1 (56:49):
And so you hit it out for tea tonight for
dinner with my parents, my birthday dinner, even though my
birthday is next week. I'm because some Italian You're gonna
have some pasta and a delicious shad with your partner there.
Speaker 4 (57:02):
Yeah, yeah, a.
Speaker 3 (57:02):
Little past the seller, little night and we went out
last night, so it's nice. My partner's actually going away
tomorrow morning, very early, right home to where she's from,
so I'll take her to the airport in the morning,
so probably be in early night, and then it'll be
a couple of days bachelor life in the Jizz Palace
for all Pugs solo in.
Speaker 1 (57:17):
The Jizz Palace, man living the dream. Look, thank you
so much for listening, Pugs, And I'll be back at
four pm tomorrow with more best of the Big Show moments.
Until then, have yourself a bloody great evening. Say later
it right
