Speaker 6 (01:44):
What's coming up?
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Mate?
Speaker 7 (01:49):
What's happening on the Big Show with old PAGs? That's right, Keezy.
Of course we have the daily got pretty soon.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
But first we've got to crack into some more archival
best bits. I've been sifting through twenty twenty two Big Show,
so pretty ancient stuff like our first what is that?
Speaker 7 (02:03):
It was our first year, second year of existence.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
Yeah, I didn't even come in until late twenty twenty two,
so this is even before my time, and it was
the days of let's just say, Mike Minoga and old
Hoody Jay were big time inventors back then.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Okay, sure they were. I've got a feeling this stuff
is gonna have aged quite poorly. You mentioned the Daily
Goat there, though yesterday, of course our Goat Daily Goat
head to Head was the greatest of all time wrestling tunes.
Speaker 7 (02:28):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Today's head to Head is going to be the greatest
of all time karaoke slash sing along tunes. If anyone
out there has a suggestion, text us on three four
eight three, We'll getting into that soon. But every single
text on three four eight three will be in the
draw for fifty bucks with the Reburger.
Speaker 7 (02:42):
That's right, Keyzy Oh straightened us some tunes?
Speaker 6 (02:45):
Is it far out?
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Pugs, you know how to start a show on the
right foot.
Speaker 6 (02:50):
This Nirvana.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodki.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
She had on The Hidarchy Big Show Friday afternoon with
Keezy and Pugs. Full show back together this coming Monday.
Speaker 5 (03:02):
And because we are coming back Monday, it's the last
day of doing our Hot Hockey Big Show best Bits,
I've been diving into the archives all week to find
some of our best moments and moments that we just
haven't heard for a long time. And we've been through
a few eras and one of the big eras for
Mike Manogan and Jason Hoyt in particular was their time
of inventing stuff.
Speaker 6 (03:21):
I've just been going through a few ideas, James, because
you know, I come from inventor stock, yes, you know,
long line of inventing sort of run through my blood.
And I was just thinking just about ways that can
make people's lives easier, and not so much me, but
everybody really. And I was sitting at home in bed
and I was trying to read my book. I read books, kezy,
(03:45):
how about that?
Speaker 5 (03:45):
Right?
Speaker 6 (03:46):
Okay? But it was bloody dark, and we've got one
of those lights where it hangs from the middle of
the room, but that doesn't really help you when you're
up against the wall.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (03:56):
Yeah, So I'm sort of sitting up against the wall there.
I've got my back against the wall because I refuse
to buy a headboard because that's a waste of money
that did go away with that one. And I was
just thinking, how handy would it be to have a
source of light, or a light source that doesn't hang
from the middle of the room. It can sort of
it can. I guess portable would be key mobile mobile,
(04:20):
thank you. Yeah, And it would plug into the wall
down low, not high, out of the ceiling, and then
you just be able to move it around the room
to the areas that don't have the light.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
So would it bloody hell? So it would be like
on a stand or something like that.
Speaker 6 (04:38):
I think it would need obviously it's a stand up. Yeah,
So you could just be a square box, right, Yes,
it's a box, and then you just stick a light
bulb in the lid of it. Right, And then thinking
about that more extrapolating that idea, then what would happen
if it was on a long stick like a broom? Yes,
you could have it on there. In that case, if
(05:00):
was on something skinny like that, you need to be
able to steady that structure. So maybe a tripod, right,
or it'll stand around some kind of stand yea yeah,
because if you how good would it be?
Speaker 8 (05:11):
Right? If you're got your back against the wall and
the bed there, Yeah, and you've got a little mobile light. Say,
I don't know if you've got a bedside table or not,
but maybe like a mobile light that not only was mobile, but.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
That like had a swivel head on it or something like.
Speaker 8 (05:27):
This, so you could direct light directly onto your reading.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
Imagine that, man.
Speaker 6 (05:33):
I mean i'd have to move on the six toys.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
Oh yeah, obvious.
Speaker 6 (05:37):
Somewhere else like that. I like the sound of that.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
If the light bulbs too bright and you could put
something on it like a shade to sort of dim
it down a wee bit and just focus the light,
you know.
Speaker 6 (05:46):
What I mean? And that stuff, you're just overthinking it, right,
because what I've been using for a while now as
a head lamp, right yeah, yeah, yeah, like a coal miner,
that sort of thing.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Same here.
Speaker 8 (06:01):
Yeah, Oh my god, mate, that's a bloody head lamp.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
But something that doesn't a lamp that doesn't go on
your head but instead goes on the bedside.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
Well, if you've got a bedside table, I.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Think that's genius. I'm pretty sure I've reready got one,
though they've already like it's called a lamp, you know, lamp,
head lamp, No, no bedside lamp or just a lamp.
Speaker 6 (06:22):
A lamp? Yeah, what's that?
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Never heard of it?
Speaker 6 (06:28):
You've never heard of a lamp. I've heard of a
head lamp. I've got one. A lamp. You're literally describing
a lamp.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
I've heard of a cave lamp.
Speaker 6 (06:35):
Yeah, No, I've heard of a Geni's lamp like that. Yeah,
it's like a Jenny's lap Yeah right, cool, Well that's
not going to work. Those are fictional, ny right?
Speaker 2 (06:45):
What the hell's a cave lamp?
Speaker 6 (06:46):
Pugs? We heard of that before.
Speaker 7 (06:48):
I've got one in my cave.
Speaker 6 (06:51):
Gross.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
If you want to listen to that break again, or
literally any other episode of The Hidockey Big Show, search
it where you get your podcasts from every show we've

Speaker 7 (07:02):

Speaker 6 (07:05):
Ah?
Speaker 2 (07:05):
But a green day In the meantime, keep those ticks
coming through on three, four eight three the Greatest of
all Time Karaoke tune.
Speaker 6 (07:11):

Speaker 1 (07:13):

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Right now it's time for.
Speaker 7 (07:42):
The Daily got Web May CAZy that will never get
older for me.
Speaker 5 (07:51):
Unfortunately, you watched me make that staying too. You're in
studio here at the time when I was putting it
together and I just read the inspiration was like lightning
through my.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
What I like about it is it's like super heavy
and sick and then the worst voice ever saying our names.
But if you don't know what, sorry if you say worst, yeah,
but I think it best.
Speaker 7 (08:11):
Yeah yeah, the Goat. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
So if you don't know what the Daily Goat is,
we are every single day picking a category. Yesterday's category
was the Goat Wrestling entrance music song. So if we
were wrestler's watch songs would we run out to We
had the voting up on the Daky Big Shows Instagram story.
I chose Metallica Pugs, you chose Limp Biscuits. Time to
reveal who won that match up?
Speaker 5 (08:33):
Okay, winning worth fifty four percent of your votes on
the Big Show Instagram story, another close one.
Speaker 6 (08:40):
Study your way mother.
Speaker 4 (08:42):
It's just one of those days.
Speaker 6 (08:45):
Oh, Biscuits Pugs. Have you won all three so far? Yes?
Speaker 4 (08:52):
I have?
Speaker 7 (08:52):
Actually, well you know I was. I wasn't thinking about that.
Speaker 5 (08:55):
I hadn't even it hadn't even crossed my mind, Keysy,
surely sure it hasn't. Sort of in a row, you know, well,
well done mate, you've got you've got really great taste
of music.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
And I'm not at all bitter, but I can't believe
lym Biscuit beating Metallica. Come on, people, But it's all
about today's daily goats, and today's one is karaoke slash
sing alongs. We've had some excellent suggestions coming through on
three four eight three parks. This one here is a classic,
of course, Living on a Prayer bon Jovi.
Speaker 7 (09:23):
Of course, Yeah, that's.
Speaker 6 (09:25):
A classic, man.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
You see, that's a pub karaoke classic as opposed to
like a karaoke room classic, do you know.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
What I mean?
Speaker 2 (09:35):
And it's one of those ones where you don't realize
how high John bon Jovi is going and it's very
hard to keep up with him. Of course, you can't
have sing alongs without Oasis. This one coming through from Jackson.
Speaker 6 (09:45):
Don't Look Back, an egg.
Speaker 7 (09:55):
That's made for a crowd, Made for a crowd.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
That and Wonder wol Man. They both go off. A
great suggestion from Nikita and christ Church the Cranberries Zombie tune. Man,
when you're steamed and you're singing that song, yeah, you know,
(10:20):
you can really get quite sloppy with it, which is
always a great sign.
Speaker 7 (10:23):
I love getting sloppy with.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
It, man, you know, especially if your mum's there. Hey,
shout out to I shout out to every single ticks
through who sent Sweet Caroline.
Speaker 6 (10:32):
We had quite a.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
Few of them, man, which is one of the all
time great sing alongs. But pugs, I'll go first today
with my greatest of all time sing along tune from Queen.
Play it.
Speaker 7 (10:56):
That's a great tune, Geezy, it's an amazing tune.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Thank you, Queen. Keeping up with Pretty Mercury is tough. Yeah,
it's good, Queen. I thought about doing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.
I thought, you know, that's sort of been done, but
I had not thought of don't stop me now, So
I can't argue with that.
Speaker 7 (11:13):
Man, You've done bloody well.
Speaker 6 (11:14):
There.
Speaker 5 (11:15):
I have gone for a complete pivot from you and
somebody else on the text machine actually shared it with me, Julie.
Shout out, Julie. We both picked this bear Boy absolute
tune that is wheaateest teenage dirt bag?
Speaker 6 (11:37):
Yeah, go karaoke song.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
To be honest, I absolutely love that song as well,
really hard part of the inn Wedges.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
Just I've got to.
Speaker 7 (11:45):
That's the meat. Well, it sounds like it's not half
for you. Brother, You're like an angel.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Thanks bro, thank you. I've got the falsetto down. Let
us know your thoughts. Text us three four eight three
would you rather waateest teenage dirt bag?
Speaker 6 (11:57):
Or don't stop me now? From Queen.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
The official vote happens on the Duck Shows Instagram story,
so head there and don't forget every single text on
three four eight three.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
The Hierarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodak.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Kuducky Big Show Friday afternoon with Keezy and pugsan full
show back Monday and I am bloody fizzed Upkeezy.
Speaker 5 (12:16):
I've been house sitting for Hoody Ja over the last
three days and we're on my final night.
Speaker 6 (12:21):
Yeah, and I'm a little bit sad.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
I've been I'm really enjoying hanging out with Jizz all
night long as cat. Yeah yeah's Cat Jizz at the
Jizz Palace there, And.
Speaker 7 (12:30):
I thought, you know what, it's been a really really
great time.
Speaker 5 (12:32):
My partner's actually just gone away to where she lives
and back home, and so I thought, why not have
a little bit of a just a small git together,
you know, have a few people around at the Jis Palace.
Jase isn't here, he doesn't have to know. We know
he's not listening to the show, right yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
But also even if he does know that it's happening,
what's he going to do about it?
Speaker 7 (12:50):
What he's going to drive all the way back down
from up north?
Speaker 6 (12:52):
I don't know shit though.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
And I reckon I can handle a bit of a shindig.
So I thought I would put it to the people
on the Hidaki Big Show Instagram story and to you
now on three four eight three, with fifty dollars rebig
avouches up for grabs, what would you offer if you
were to get an invite to Hordy Jay's place? What
would it take for you to get that invite?
Speaker 2 (13:11):
And also just on that as well, pugs, you know,
like a show of interest too. Are you keen to
come to the party at Hardy Jay's apartment?
Speaker 6 (13:19):
How many people are you going to bring with you? Yeah?
Just because I want this.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
If we're going to do this thing, because I'm keen,
I don't have anything on tonight, I keep to make
it a massive one.
Speaker 5 (13:26):
No, while I was thinking maybe just like Pugs, you pugs,
just like you.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Can't know you can't have a party at the Jizz
Palace without old Kezy Ben there. All right, so I'll
start packing. I'll be over shortly.
Speaker 7 (13:37):
Yeah, you're right at home in the Jiz Palace.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
A Now, hell's that supposed to mean?
Speaker 5 (13:42):
A few people have got in touch already on the
Hoicky Big Show Instagram page with what they would bring
or offer in order to get an invite. For example,
Ryland said he'd bring a big old hot pot. Now
it's probably well, it's on theme for the Ji's Palace,
but you need to remember Jase's not there. And while
I love hotpot too, it's more of a hoody.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Just so you're saying no to Ryland's hot pot, you
don't want him there?
Speaker 6 (14:03):
No, No, I like the hot pot.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
I'm just saying, like Let's remember Jase is not going
to be involved in any way, right.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Okay, just so it feels like you're sitting a lot
of rules are it just doesn't seem like it's my party? Well,
exactly what do you want to go or not? What
do you mean do I want to go? I know
where he lives. I'm just going to be there. I'm
going to show up there and we'll be kicking down
the door.
Speaker 5 (14:22):
Someone said, Michael said, a beach towel in case old
keys he needs to blow his massive long guy.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Okay, it's not Michael Chance.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
If you're going to be there, yeah, then you should
probably have a tell just in pugs.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Look at this nose right now? Does it require a
beach towel? Just a regular kleenex.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
Sort of more of a top hole on. Somebody said,
Vietnamese darries for pugs and dumplings. Froll kezy, there you go,
mate Kills.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
So someone's bringing me dumplings? Yes, that sounds great. Actually,
does anyone bringing any booze? Or are we just eating?
Speaker 5 (14:50):
Someone said a pitting zoo, a pitting that's a really
nice touch, and Haimer she has said he'd bring thirteen
dollars and sixty nine cents, which.
Speaker 6 (14:57):
Is pretty good because we could put that towards.
Speaker 7 (14:59):
Like one beer or something, you know, one beer.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Okay, so we've got one ber, some dumplings and a
beach towel and a few backbones. We're gonna have to
wrap this thing up. So three four eight three? Who's
coming to the party at Hoidy Jay's house? How many
mates are you bringing? What boozy you bringing? What else
do you want to bring? What do you want to
see there? Let us know every single text in the
draw for fifty bucks worth of reburger. Ah god, this
(15:23):
white stripes?
Speaker 6 (15:24):
Hell. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
The Huriarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hurdarchy.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Guns Roses on The Hurdarky Big Show Friday Afternoon with
Keezy and pugs Son.
Speaker 6 (15:35):
It's chat TV.
Speaker 8 (15:39):
What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
Speaker 6 (15:45):
Yeah, good stuff.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Of course, no Moggi here. That doesn't matter. We're still
gonna review TV. And this is my TV review, Pugs.
Last night I didn't watch TV because I went out
for dinner with my parents and my brother had some
wholesome chit chat and then to my brother and I
are gonna watch two Games of NRL and we're gonna
eat pizza and it's gonna be wholesome as well.
Speaker 7 (16:05):
It's a real boys boys type weekend.
Speaker 6 (16:08):
Man, it is one hundred percent. Haven't done it in
a while.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
We spent a couple of hours today as well, jamming
a classic video game from our childhood, Crash Team Racing.
Speaker 7 (16:16):
One of the great video games of all time.
Speaker 6 (16:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Yeah, And if you know, if you're sort of in
your thirties or whatever, you might have jammed Mario Card
or something along those lines. But whenever I get back
together with my brother, we always have to verse each
other at Crash Team Racing.
Speaker 6 (16:28):
I won't.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
But what have you been watching? The Pugs?
Speaker 5 (16:31):
I watched a movie that was one of my favorite
films that I watched this year, and I watched it
maybe like a couple of weeks ago, but it's about
time I got to talking about it. The Stranger came
out in twenty twenty two, and I'll do the hoodie
Jay and I'll read the description. Two men who meet
on a bus straight up, a strike up, a conversation
that turns into friendship. For Henry Tigue, worn down by
(16:52):
a lifetime of physical labor, and crime. This is a
dream come true that doesn't really get into it without
spoiling anything. Essentially, the whole thing's in operation by undercover
agents to set up a friendship between this agent and
this guy who is accused or allegedly kidnapped a boy
a few years back, right, okay, and he's just got
(17:13):
out of prison and so he's looking for like new
foundations and so he makes friends with this guy.
Speaker 7 (17:17):
It is a real Hoidy.
Speaker 6 (17:20):
J type movie.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
And what I mean by that is, you know how
he likes real moody, psychological you know that kind of stuff,
like the real pence of like, oh, you know troubled Cops.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
Yeah, yeah, this guy's an amazing detective, but he's a
massive alcoholic and has a few skeletons of that sort
of thing.
Speaker 5 (17:38):
Yes, But what I will give full credit to this
for is that it doesn't fall into those tropes like yeah,
the guy's trouble, but it doesn't spend too much time
focusing on it.
Speaker 7 (17:47):
It is totally grounded.
Speaker 5 (17:49):
It feels completely realistic, which is helped by the Australian.
Speaker 7 (17:54):
Actors and stuff like that. Everybody.
Speaker 5 (17:56):
Joel Egerton is unbelievable in that the guy who plays
Henry Tige. What's his name here, Sean Harris. He's in
some of the Mission Impossible movies as a villain. Unbelievable.
It is a creepy, grounded, moody film. I give it
a good I give it three point nine to four
(18:17):
buzzies out of a possible five. I loved it. And
it was on Netflix.
Speaker 6 (18:20):
Wow? Okay? And what was it called? The Stranger? Stranger?
Speaker 7 (18:23):
Joel Egerton is an unbelievably underrated actor.
Speaker 6 (18:26):
Yeah, right, what else has he been in his name?
Speaker 5 (18:28):
He's in The Gift, which is an American movie, another
psychological thriller with Jason Bateman.
Speaker 7 (18:33):
He's in a few things.
Speaker 6 (18:34):
Right, Okay?
Speaker 2 (18:35):
And you described it, you described it as a houghdy
J type film and then you said it was creepy
and moody. Yeah, a hardy J type film. Let's create
how don't You're right on the money there, pugsun well done?
What song were we going into here? Pugsun Ah?
Speaker 6 (18:49):
Is this Pluto?
Speaker 1 (18:53):
The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarkey.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
It's the Big Shows Friday Throbber.
Speaker 6 (19:08):
Do damn it?
Speaker 2 (19:10):
Hazy the Friday Throbber where three of us go head
to here, but there's only two of us Keezy and Pugs.
The full show back Monday. But in the meantime we
don't need Hoidy Jan Mogi to do a throbber. Got
a couple of young fellas throbbing right here right now,
Am I right?
Speaker 6 (19:24):
Pugs, You're exactly right, Casey.
Speaker 5 (19:25):
I would argue that because it's us younger fellas, then
we're almost better at getting a throbber.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Our throbbers are more guaranteed we've got them ready to go.
Those old boys do need a bit of a bit
of notice of working up. Yeah, especially Hoity j he
needs all day to get his throbber ready. All right,
if you don't know what the throbber is. By the way,
we each pick a song, you play a little snippet
of it. You then call us on eight hundred hodaki
and vote for which one of those songs you want
(19:51):
heard in full. And the idea of a throbber is
to get your weekend off to a rip roaring start.
Speaker 6 (19:56):
It's meant to be a big tune. Pugs. I'll let
you go first on this.
Speaker 5 (20:00):
One, mate, Already mate, I have gone with the band
from Wellington, New Zealand.
Speaker 7 (20:05):
This is One Outs Captain cook from Darts.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Down from.
Speaker 7 (20:24):
One Out's Captain cook Man.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
I love that Darts are a great band. We don't
play enough for them to be honest, one hundred percent agree.
We've hit them in on the show a few times.
Lovely boys Love. I know there will be a lot
of people listening right now that are like, what the
hell was that? Which is why I've chosen this song
from Iron Maid and play at Pugs whoa.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
It's the Big Shows Friday throb.
Speaker 6 (20:56):
The Friday Throbber.
Speaker 4 (20:57):
We each pick a tune.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
You then vote on O eight hundred HADARKI which tune
you'd like played in full.
Speaker 6 (21:03):
It's a little head to hear number.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Today you've got Keyesy and pugsn Jason Michael be back
on Monday. You'll have a full show back then. In
the meantime we thought why not just go head to
head Pugs. You got us underway with a great band
from Wellies. I'm a Damned Down Problem.
Speaker 5 (21:23):
From the album the band from Willington, New Zealand. This
is darts one.
Speaker 6 (21:26):
Outs Captain Cook. A bit of modern Pug for your
Friday Throbber.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
There, don't mind it, pugsn and I chose a tune
which is for slightly older generation. I think in all
time one of the greatest guitar riff intros of any
song ever. I believe Iron Maiden the Trooper. Oh yeah,
(22:02):
all timer, they're the Trooper Iron Maiden. But of course, Pugs,
we can't vote ourselves. We have to let the audience
do it for us. Let's go to the lines.
Speaker 7 (22:10):
Sam and Wellington, how are you mate.
Speaker 6 (22:12):
Good mate?
Speaker 2 (22:13):
How you getting on?
Speaker 6 (22:14):
Brother?
Speaker 4 (22:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (22:15):
Good?
Speaker 7 (22:15):
Thanks mate?
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Oh god, Sam, you're from Wellington. Data from Wellington. I
have a feeling I know who you're voting for. But
let us have it.
Speaker 6 (22:21):
Well, it's a no brainer, mate, and I had a
colonize just as much as the next guy.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
So let's go on out.
Speaker 7 (22:27):
You're a good man, Sam, Thanks for your call.
Speaker 6 (22:30):
Have a great weekend.
Speaker 7 (22:31):
All right.
Speaker 6 (22:32):

Sam and Dunedin.
Speaker 7 (22:56):
How are you okay?
Speaker 6 (22:58):
Boys? How we getting on?
Speaker 8 (22:59):
Yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (23:00):
Good Sam?
Speaker 7 (23:00):
How about you?
Speaker 6 (23:02):
Yeah? Not too bad? Not too bad for a Friday
you're running with? Who are you voting for? Sam? Let
us have it mate? Oh well, as much as I
love some darts and I do love a dart, I've
got to go with Keyzy today. Ah the Trooper. Thank
you so much, Sam, You, my friend, are a Trooper.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
That is a big win for old Keyzy there, which
means we're going to hear the Trooper from Iron Made
and played in full.
Speaker 6 (23:26):
Let us know what you think, New Zealand.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
Give us a text on three four eight three. How
do you feel about today's Friday Thrubber.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
The Hurichy Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kezy. Tune
in week days at four on Radio Hdarchy.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
Oasis on The Hurdiky Big Show Friday Afternoon with Keezy
and pugsun Full showback Monday, back.
Speaker 5 (23:44):
To some gold from the Big Show in days past.
This is August twenty twenty two, and I'm surprised that
Jace's marriage recovered after this absolute betrayal.
Speaker 8 (23:56):
Something happened last night, Mike that disgusted me. A key
related no, actually, weirdly enough, just just on there. Can
you stop sending me stuff? Keysy, I'm not interested, all right, right,
just that Instagram or well no, just private messaging me.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
I'm not interested in the stuff you're sending me.
Speaker 6 (24:15):
What's that? Okay?
Speaker 4 (24:16):
God, just just keep it to your going there.
Speaker 8 (24:19):
Twenty six years of marriage mate, Oh thanks man. And
I was in there in the lounge last night with
my wife and just to sort of set the background,
we when we do a sort of weekly shop, we
buy a little box of.
Speaker 6 (24:33):
Trumpets treat for you.
Speaker 4 (24:36):
Yeah, like a tree.
Speaker 6 (24:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (24:37):
Yeah, So there's like four trumpets in the box sort
of thing.
Speaker 6 (24:41):
And boison berry.
Speaker 8 (24:42):
Yes, actually, key, take your shoveling into your throat before
that's out there, quite like the hokey pokey one. Yeah,
that's quite good. But anyway, so there were four and
my daughter the night before and my wife and I
had one each.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
So there was one left. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (25:03):
So I was getting it out of the freezer last
night and there was one trumpet left and I said
to my wife, darling, do you want the last trumpet?
Speaker 4 (25:11):
And she went yes, please. I've never been so disgusted
in my life. I mean, what kind of animal behavior.
Speaker 6 (25:20):
Is that it's shocking.
Speaker 8 (25:22):
I mean I I h oh, mate, Mate, I just
stormed out of the house.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
I had to cool down.
Speaker 8 (25:29):
There was effing and jeff and bloody massively, so mate,
I was so appalled and shocked. It's just not done
in my home. You just don't do that sort of thing.
I hope you threw the trumpet in the fire.
Speaker 4 (25:41):
I actually no, I did.
Speaker 8 (25:43):
Actually I just threw it across the lounge there and
smashed against the French doors there.
Speaker 6 (25:47):
Right, so and what so? What are you furious about that?
She said yes to your question? Yes, Kti. Why did
you ask you the question? Then?
Speaker 8 (25:54):
Well, it's rhetorical, is it's I'm not asking exactly, thank you, Mike.
Speaker 4 (25:59):
I'm not asking her the question. The answer is no,
you have it.
Speaker 6 (26:03):
That is the answer. You're giving her an opportunity to
say no, you have it, right, And she.
Speaker 9 (26:08):
Didn't do that because she wanted the ice cream. She
said yes, thanks right now. If she wanted it, she
should have gone and got it. But Ja's got there
first and asked the question. The social contractors, you say no, thanks,
you have it, okay, and now she is allowed to
then say can I please have a bite. Yeah, because
which Jase is allowed to say shove it? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
(26:29):
totally right.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
And so you stormed out and threw an ice cream
after twenty six years of marriage?
Speaker 6 (26:35):
Yes, right, okay, yeah, cool.
Speaker 8 (26:37):
You've got French doors there, Mike knows what I'm talking about.
Speaker 6 (26:40):
Then give them an man.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
You give them rules and marriage.
Speaker 8 (26:44):
Kesy, You'll find this out when this happens to you, mate, right,
but you just don't cross over the line.
Speaker 6 (26:50):
But filth, filth.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
What I would do is I'd find the ice cream
and say, hey, do you mind if I have this?
Speaker 6 (26:58):
You'd find it. I'd find at first Ohydy did find
it in the freezer, and then I'd say do you
mind if I have this? Not hey do you want this? Yeah?
But she would say yes, I do mind if you
have it? Is it here?
Speaker 4 (27:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (27:10):
Well in that case, boy, yeah exactly. Let me just
pee my pants and storm out of there.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
Some classic Big Show action from twenty twenty two. There
reminds me, Pugs. You the whole archive is available to
listen to, isn't it.
Speaker 6 (27:25):
That's right?
Speaker 5 (27:25):
If you search hold Aky Big Show wherever you get
your podcasts, we recommend iHeart Radio. That's what we gm here,
it's Freddy use Freddy download and if you search Hidaky
Big Show you can literally go back all the way

Speaker 7 (27:40):
Yes, sweet as man.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
I'm just because listening back to all this old stuff
is very triggering. So just go and wife and if
you could, mate, yes it is. Should we go into
a tune here?
Speaker 1 (27:48):
Nah the Hdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy

do for a crust again?
Speaker 4 (29:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (29:21):
Bloody?
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Hey, did you enter the competition to bring a mate
down to Wellington?
Speaker 6 (29:25):
Man?
Speaker 2 (29:28):
You certainly did, Martin. I'm calling to let you know
that you and your mate need to pack your ship
because you're coming to Wellington. Beervarnay boy, That's what I'm
talking about, Martin.
Speaker 6 (29:42):
I'm going to work your brother Martin, who are you
bringing with you? Mate?
Speaker 2 (29:47):
Her name was silent and you can't backwards and it's.
Speaker 7 (29:50):
Normous, normous, normous.
Speaker 6 (29:53):
Brother.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
I like it, Martin. Look, just a couple of things.
I've got a check mate. Firstly, do you enjoy beers?
Speaker 8 (30:00):
I love that?
Speaker 6 (30:01):
Okay? Good? Just that's do you have a current passport?
Speaker 1 (30:07):
I have the current passport?
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Okay, you would actually need it because we're just going
to Wellington. And thirdly, are you free not this coming
weekend but the following one? Ah, bloody beauty. All right, Martin,
you pack your ship mate. We'll see you down in
Wellington next week.
Speaker 6 (30:24):
All right.
Speaker 4 (30:25):
I will pack my shirt.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
I see you.
Speaker 6 (30:28):
Well done, Martin.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
You hold the line there, brother, Actually hold the line
this time, and I'll.
Speaker 7 (30:33):
Be in touch with you in just a moment. That's
good stuff, Keezy.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Oh so what he holds the line here but other
people don't hold I can't understand.
Speaker 5 (30:40):
I choose where that line is, man, and it will
hold it.
Speaker 7 (30:44):
I'm the guy.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
Look, Pugs, is one thing I want to say to
you right now, all right, and it's this, Grab your
crew and secure beer. Var of tickets now at Beervarner
dot co dot in there. All right, That's all I've
got to say.
Speaker 5 (30:55):
Man, if you please play some living color, is this
could a personality?
Speaker 6 (30:59):
Of course?
Speaker 1 (31:00):
The Hiarchy Big Show was Jace, Mike and Keyzy.
Speaker 6 (31:03):
Tune in on Radio.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Lincoln Park on the Hidarky Big Show Friday evening with
Keyzy and Pugs, and in the four o'clock hour there
Pugs set up a bit of an invite situation for
you great listeners. He's got one night left house sitting
for Jas and he's decided to throw a massive party.
Speaker 5 (31:21):
You can not massive, man, it would be a really
responsible get together.
Speaker 7 (31:24):
Okay, nothing but respect for the Jizz Palace.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
The jews perers, Pugs, have you ever thrown a massive
house party before sitting rules and saying well, well respectful
and all that sort of thing. We're having a party
at the Jizz Palace. Why are you trying to keep
it on the like, you know, as a casual affair.
Let's make it a rip roaring party.
Speaker 5 (31:46):
Because then inevitably, when Jace finds out that I've had
the party and he accosts me for it, I can
go back through the audio on this show and just
say and send him a snap and go look, man,
I didn't say it was going to be a big
dang knock out teas.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Response, and so we've done that all right, So I'm
at fault. Holy Jay, if you're listening back to this,
this was my idea. So now that we've done that part,
we have a huge past. Let's get bag responsibly. Of course,
everyone texts through three four eight three if you'd like
to come, who you'd want to bring, and stuff that
you could bring to the party as well. We've already
got a heap of text pugs. This is a great
(32:21):
first one. If I came out off of some baked goods.
If you know what I mean, winky face. I love baking,
Oh like a cake or something? Yeah, maybe winky face
like the sound of that. I offer the knowledge that
I won't turn up as I live in christ Church.
Speaker 6 (32:35):
It's handy.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Luke is gonna bring a couple of his mates and
they're going to bring around a pile of bricks.
Speaker 5 (32:40):
It's sort of a there's a recurring theme on the
Instagram at Hodockey Big Show. I put up a story
there for you to respond to Ollie. He is a
week's worth of hot box, which I think he meant
hot pot and a packet, or maybe a hot box
and camel super longs. Brodie set a pack of arts
and some basil. Caleb said, a sex swing and a
pack of camels. So people are really coming out with
the darts, which, right, I can appreciate.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
Yeah, one hundred percent. I mean, well, I don't understand
this one. I'll bring a truckload of burger sugar. What's
burger sugar?
Speaker 6 (33:10):
Maybe?
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Is that sweets like lollies? Okay, like a new sweet
a sugar? Well, that sounds yummy. I'll be keen for
some of that.
Speaker 6 (33:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (33:16):
Somebody else said, just sort of in the same vein.
They want to bring a mirror so they can cut
up some flour on it. I guess it's for the baking,
maybe to make another cake.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
Flower or do you think that they might mean flowers?
Speaker 7 (33:27):
Why would you cut up flowers on a mirror?
Speaker 2 (33:29):
I have no idea. Why would you cut up flour.
Speaker 7 (33:31):
On an for even distribution amongst the baking dishes?
Speaker 2 (33:34):
Right? Wouldn't you use like a measuring cup or some
sort of way such situation, there's there's tools available, don't
have to cut it up on you know what, I'll
try it when I get home, I'll cut up some
flour on a mirror. Please do Can we smoke inside?
That's from Bruce, He wants to know.
Speaker 5 (33:47):
Well, I mean, I have been since I've been staying there,
so I'm sure you'll be fine. I mean, as long
as you attempt to sort of blow it in the
direction of the window, even if it's shut, it kind
of you know you've.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Done, because I've seen those windows. They don't really open
very much. But you know, we can say, hey, there
was ventilation.
Speaker 7 (34:01):
Oh there is an extractor fan too, so we should
be sweet there you go.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
That could be the smoking here. Is that the extractor
fan above the oven?
Speaker 6 (34:06):
Yes? Yeah, Well what we.
Speaker 2 (34:07):
Could do, Pugs, is we could pull the oven out
and push that into the bedroom and then that could
be the smoking zone. We could put a little like
red ribbon around that area.
Speaker 5 (34:15):
Yeah, and if we stuff the pillows under the door,
then that'll kind of seal it off, you know what
I mean.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
Yeah, hundred percent, so his sleeping pillows, stuff them under
the door. Yeah, VIP smokers area. Like the sound of that.
Someone here is offering to bring a glass barbecue. Does
he have anywhere for a barbecue?
Speaker 5 (34:30):
Well, if we're doing the smoking inside, we might as
well do the barbecuing. Maybe we put the barbecue in
the smokers area and then it kind of gives it
a bit of a smoky So.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
You're suggesting we move the oven out and put a
barbecue where the oven was.
Speaker 5 (34:42):
No, no, no, both in the bedroom. Both are in
the Oh, okay, so we moved the oven and the
glass barbecue into the bedroom.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
I've never heard of a glass barbecue. That sounds fancy,
It sounds expensive. You don't want to break it. Someone's
going to bring the Hoidy j combos from Jeremy cheeseballs,
daries and a stick mag great.
Speaker 7 (35:00):
I mean, even that guy could just come over and
I'd sort of be sortied, you know.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
But it sounds like he's just gonna be snacking and
sort of beaten off in the corner.
Speaker 4 (35:05):
I'm not.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
No one's brought any booze, okay, So I'm trying to
get this party started. Keep the text coming three four
eight three can win yourself fifty dollars worth of reburger.
Who wants to come to houghdy J's house for a
massive party? And what are you going to bring? Should
we go to a tune.
Speaker 6 (35:20):
Park's a bit to be tall or I'm going to
be furious?
Speaker 7 (35:22):
Have I got news for you, Keezy?
Speaker 1 (35:23):
What that'stills The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four
on Radio hod Ike.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Kill on The hid Arkey Big Show just about six o'clock.
You've got Kezy and Pugs on Where Your Hoody, j
and Mogi are back on Monday. But in the meantime,
we've got some tickets to give away, some double passes
to go and see a brand new mystery thriller produced
by jj Abrams. It's called The End of Oak Street,
Star at Oak Street, starring Ewan McGregor and Ann Hathaway.
It's Incinema's yesterday, to be honest, it's Incinemas right now.
(35:54):
If you are keen to get a double pass to that,
give us a text now three four eight three and
just check down who you'd like to take with you,
and that could be yours.
Speaker 7 (36:01):
Some of the.
Speaker 5 (36:02):
Reviews for this thing are absolutely gang bus. There's people
are stoked to see a concept like this, making it
back to the movies like it's not already established IP.
It's like its own thing, its own story. It's a
dinosaur movie with great action. People like Anne Hathaway pointing
a rifle at some velociraptors looks great, just on that.
Speaker 7 (36:18):
The one thing I don't know about it is how
long is the Oak Street?
Speaker 6 (36:21):
Keezy? How long is the Oaks Street? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (36:24):
The Oak Streak? You know the earlier. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
Look, I'm just out here trying to do my best, Pugs,
and I guess I said a word wrong, you know.
And yes, it was in the middle of a sponsored
product like this movie here, and I've literally said the
name of.
Speaker 6 (36:37):
The movie wrong.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
Yeah, And for you to shine a light on it,
it really, you know, it really holds us show back.
That's what's holding the show back from being a top
radio show.
Speaker 5 (36:44):
Look, as long as people text in on three for
eight three and let us know who they want to
go with, then it doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
They could be going to see the end of Oak
Street or the end of Oak Streak. Either way, man,
you take the ticket and you get stuck.
Speaker 6 (36:54):
In the whole.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
Actually, Big Show with Jason Smike tune in week days
at four on Radio HODARKI.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
It's right, it is the Hudarcky Big Show For Friday,
the fourteenth of August twenty twenty six.
Speaker 6 (37:08):
It's almost the weekends.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
Yea, you've got Keezy and Pugs on where you The
full show is back Monday. But of course the big
show is brought to you by Reburger y.
Speaker 5 (37:15):
Beef checking vegan and vegetarian options read big gear, redefining
the norms.
Speaker 4 (37:21):
Scrumbedly obtious.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
It certainly is Scrumblily, I'm scious. Of course, Reburger would
love to have it tonight. However, Pugs, whenever I'm with
my brother, my older brother, we have this tradition where
because we both love NRL, and we have this tradition
where we'll just both get together in the lounge there,
order a whole lot of pizzas and then watch all
the games of NRL that are on. It just so
(37:43):
happens that there's only two games on tonight. Usually we'll
watch the three on a big Saturday. Yeah, we love it.
Speaker 6 (37:49):
Do you know what gets sick of it?
Speaker 5 (37:50):
Do you not go like you get to the third
game and you're like, hmm, I wonder what they'll do
this time?
Speaker 2 (37:54):
And it'sh No, Come on, Pug, do you sound like
you sound like Hony Jay talking about video game handover?
Speaker 7 (38:01):
What do you call it?
Speaker 6 (38:02):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 7 (38:03):
You know when they like have to switch the position.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
Your handover good one straight now. Well, to be honest, Pugs,
you're missing the point. It's mostly about me bonding with
my brother who I don't see that often, So it
doesn't really matter what games are on. And when you're
drinking beers and you got your you know, and your
catching out, it's bloody good times.
Speaker 6 (38:21):
Mat.
Speaker 7 (38:21):
Yeah, that's valid.
Speaker 6 (38:21):
Man.
Speaker 7 (38:22):
Listen, I love it for you.
Speaker 6 (38:23):
I do, I do, No, you don't. What are you
doing tonight?
Speaker 5 (38:26):
Well, my partner has left me house sitting Haughty J's
place alone to obviously gonna have the shindig of it
later the party. You keep those ticks coming on through
for three If you feel like you want an invite,
you've got to have something to offer though, to keep
those coming. But I am feeling some reburger tonight because
it's bachelor night, regardless of what's going on.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
And I, yeah, I worry that you know how you
was turning into horty jail.
Speaker 6 (38:48):
I worry that you're starting to lie about.
Speaker 5 (38:50):
On my life, on my life, I am keen as
for you? Really, yes, bro, you probably want to read
it bit because it's dinner, so I can like put
it on afthletic out, you know what I mean.
Speaker 7 (39:00):
I just look, I was getting donner and it's yeah,
it's been a big week for me. Man, I'm gonna,
you know, get some take and me just chill out.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
All I'm saying is that when Horty Jay's lying about
getting reburger, it's always the Regent read as well. So
I'm just saying I'm just putting it out there.
Speaker 6 (39:14):
I hope you do.
Speaker 4 (39:14):
You know another one?
Speaker 5 (39:16):
What is it a Supernash or something like that that
I really like as well, So it's one of those.
I'll get a burger, I'll get a combo because I
have to get fries, and then I'll probably get a
couple of extra tends as well, like the bits of
chicken with some TDS with some spicy sauce. Heah, whatever
they are, you know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (39:32):
Yeah? What's that? Bro?
Speaker 2 (39:33):
Now you're all g what sounds delicious? Pigs, How what
are you having for dinner in New Zealand? Actually, use no,
we're not. Actually, don't worry about it, but let's go.
Speaker 6 (39:42):
Let's go to a tune. Pugs.
Speaker 7 (39:43):
How about that how about a bit of sound guard men.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
Of course, the Whole Archy Big Show with Mike and Y.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
Speaker 2 (39:52):
Actually the Stone Age and the Hurd Archy Big Show
Friday evening with Kezi and Pugs.
Speaker 6 (39:56):
Pugs Best Bit time.
Speaker 5 (39:58):
We've got two litt in our best bits and this
one is Hoody Jake. You know he's getting older. He's
probably like, what thirty nine now he's nearly forty.
Speaker 6 (40:07):
Yeah, and when you get.
Speaker 5 (40:08):
To that age, certain things start to happen to your body,
and let's just say you've got a bit embarrassed.
Speaker 7 (40:12):
While he was on the.
Speaker 8 (40:13):
Set, I was humiliated today again. Yeah, I mean it's
not something that's unusual for me. Man, you need to
be fair. But I was filming this morning and I
was going you filming late night, big breakfast.
Speaker 6 (40:28):
Oh wow, it's back. Everyone's so stoked. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (40:33):
And I was in the makeup chair now for people
are unfamiliar with makeup chairs. You know, when you're getting
ready and they put all your makeup on the light
that they have in a makeup sort of caravan is
the most horrendously offensive light you could imagine, and you
look in the mirror and you literally look like one
hundred and eighty years old. You see every line and wrinkle,
(40:54):
all the dark rings under your eyes.
Speaker 4 (40:57):
It's it's horrendous.
Speaker 8 (40:59):
But today, as I was sitting in the makeup chairs,
something happened to me which has never happened to me before.
And the makeup lady was sort of tuttling with my
hair and she went, oh, oh, and I was like,
what's wrong? And she said, oh, we may have to
shave your ears, my ears, And I was like, excuse me,
and she said, wow, you just got a few hair
astray here, sort of not poking out, but actually on
(41:21):
the outer rim of my ears.
Speaker 4 (41:23):
Oh.
Speaker 8 (41:23):
I've never shaved my ears in my life. And she's
been a good five minutes literally defluffing my ears.
Speaker 4 (41:30):
Do you shave your ears?
Speaker 5 (41:33):
What?
Speaker 6 (41:34):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (41:34):
Do you?
Speaker 6 (41:35):
Seriously? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (41:36):
I do.
Speaker 6 (41:36):
I've got a little a little machine there, a little
hair tremor. It does inside my mess of honker anyone, anyone, anyone?
Speaker 4 (41:45):
Yeah, and.
Speaker 6 (41:48):
Well you can really get it in there for sure.
Speaker 4 (41:52):
Thanks.
Speaker 6 (41:53):
And then also over not as often, but on occasion,
over the top of the ear, on the outside of
the on the edge of the you say, because it
get it's a bit of fluff on there.
Speaker 8 (42:02):
Yeah, well this is more sort of around fluff my
low b area.
Speaker 4 (42:06):
Youah, I had it all apparently straight straight.
Speaker 2 (42:09):
You get his in your ears, Keezy, I don't think
I'm there yet. You Also, I did notice you have
like and Mike, I haven't noticed yours yet, but you
do have hears coming out from your actual ear holes.
Speaker 6 (42:21):
I shaved those off. Yeah. Yeah. People don't like looking
at that. No, I hate it.
Speaker 4 (42:28):
Are you serious?
Speaker 6 (42:30):
Serious?
Speaker 4 (42:31):
You do not have here coming out of my ear?
Speaker 6 (42:34):
If you have never cut the here out of your ear,
then it is there.
Speaker 2 (42:40):
In fact, I got pugs to mock up a little
sort of just for us.
Speaker 4 (42:45):
That's what you are doing.
Speaker 2 (42:48):
Like this is actually what it sounds like for Jas
when he's doing the big show.
Speaker 6 (42:54):
Or just one in the morning. And so that's all you,
that's all can hear. Yeah every time because of the
sheer amount.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
Of I can't even hear what you're playing well because
it's now doubled for you. Oh right, okay, yeah, yeah,
but they've trimmed it clearly because then I was going.
Speaker 4 (43:09):
To go in my ears. I didn't realize I had
stuff coming out of my ears.
Speaker 6 (43:13):
Go home tonight. Yes, so you make a note of
this Pugs animal, follow it up tomorrow, go homes to
right and ask your wife to check your ears for here,
I ask if there's any straight here coming out of there? Okay,
so do I have here he is? Yeah?
Speaker 8 (43:26):
Because I remember your atrocious he is keezy my.
Speaker 6 (43:29):
Years, oh without full of wax.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
They have like really waxy filthy years is real cool.
Speaker 6 (43:35):
But here he is.
Speaker 2 (43:36):
Oh, it's super embarrassing.
Speaker 6 (43:38):
I forgot I had really waxy ears.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
Actually that was when we were we were sponsored by
like a hearing aid company, and we had our ears
tested to see who had the best hearing. And they
couldn't even do it on me because my ears were
too dirty.
Speaker 5 (43:48):
Is that like leftover wax from your plugs from when
you were swimming? Because you get swimmers in.
Speaker 2 (43:52):
No, I didn't used to wear plugs. Pugs Man, you're
my you're my ally here man, and you you're really
turning against me, simple question. You're really you know, you're
really bringing up things from a childhood and say I've
got a big we're mates.
Speaker 7 (44:05):
Yeah, that's right, that's coret Are you happy now?
Speaker 6 (44:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (44:09):
The hdiarchy big show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.
Speaker 2 (44:14):

Pugs is.
Speaker 4 (44:50):
Brew Brew Moon Brow Moon.
Speaker 7 (44:54):
That's yeah, that's clever.
Speaker 6 (44:55):
I like it. It is clever.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
It's a it's a play on an Elvis song.
Speaker 6 (44:59):
Blo yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
They've been making great beer since two thousand and two.
Pugs earning this spot is one of New Zealand's original
craft breweries.
Speaker 6 (45:07):
Pugs.
Speaker 2 (45:08):
Okay, just make sure you know, man, these North Canterbury
Legids might keep things simple. Quality brews, plenty of flavor
and a lineup that's got something for everyone, from old
favorites to seasonal drops. Pugs O Me, Moomy Me, who
the hell's moomy oh Me? Family owned and still doing
what they love. Pugs. Brew Moon are bringing their bringing

Speaker 7 (45:34):

Speaker 2 (45:36):
Moomy brow Moon are bringing their beers to Beervar twenty
twenty Sex.
Speaker 6 (45:42):
Get your tickets Beervard dot co dot n Z.
Speaker 7 (45:45):
I feel like the South has a reputation for great beers.
Speaker 5 (45:48):
They do, Yeah, they certainly do. It's that whole backbone
like National Pride.
Speaker 6 (45:55):
Yeah yeah, National Pride set to keep done. This is
what happens. Come on, man, what there's a sponsor involved here? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (46:02):
You butchered it. Actually just lose the music, their pucks,
just lose the music. Yeah yeah cool, just between you
and me. Yeah no, I tried an interesting I tried
an interesting tactic driving a toad on it right, which
is a three hour drive. Yeah yeah, I rawed dog.
I didn't have the stereo on it all. I didn't
(46:24):
listen to anything.
Speaker 7 (46:25):
What's wrong with You?
Speaker 6 (46:26):
Three hours just to see, just to see where the
old mind would go?
Speaker 7 (46:29):
Are you serious?
Speaker 6 (46:29):
Yeah? That sounds awful now. It was great.
Speaker 2 (46:33):
I was literally I was literally just daydreaming and thinking
of scenarios and having conversations in my head for three
hours straight. Did you win any of them? Nah, it
was mostly garbage. I thought of a great new name
for our show, though, The Big Show with Keysy and Moomy.
Speaker 7 (46:50):
Black Crows such a shit set up.
Speaker 1 (46:54):
The Hurarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio
hod Akut.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
Keys on the Hurdarky Big Show Friday evening with Keezy
and Pugs and Pugs, I believe it is time to
hear one of the all time great moments on the
Huducky Big Show involving honkers.
Speaker 7 (47:07):
That's exactly right, Keezy.
Speaker 5 (47:08):
This is our final best bit for the week, and
it'll be a while until I dive into the archives again.
Speaker 7 (47:14):
But it's been a great pleasure now.
Speaker 5 (47:16):
Yesterday on the Big Show, we played a bit talking
about our honkers ahead of getting an actual cosmetic surgeon
and doctor Deshlane to measure our noses in the scientific
way that they tend to do that to figure out
who on the Big Show has the biggest honker.
Speaker 6 (47:30):
Well, here you are.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
You have been very patient and this is These are
the official nose results from August twenty twenty three of
the Hudaky Big Show.
Speaker 7 (47:37):
Honkers.
Speaker 8 (47:38):
The measuring has been done by doctor Tristan Lane.
Speaker 4 (47:41):
Here. He's efficient, isn't.
Speaker 6 (47:42):
It Well, he's done a few in his day. Yeah,
the sounds of it, Yeah very much.
Speaker 8 (47:46):
We've got Pugs in with the official results and good
ay Pugs.
Speaker 4 (47:49):
How you going mate?
Speaker 7 (47:51):
I'm feeling tense.
Speaker 6 (47:53):
I've got a lot of power right now.
Speaker 4 (47:54):
Yes, it's a tense moment. But listen.
Speaker 8 (47:56):
The reason we're doing this because we wanted to draw
a line under it, didn't we Okay, cazyre Listeningzyzy?
Speaker 6 (48:03):
What pretty nervous in this. There's a lot of face
in me going.
Speaker 8 (48:09):
I would the reason we're doing because we want to
draw a line on it, because this has been going
on for some time.
Speaker 4 (48:15):
Because this is what the show has been sounding like.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
Fellas first five minutes been spoken to.
Speaker 6 (48:21):
You know, getting through this sets every time I sort
of understand what's he can get help but put a
massive honker and where it's not one toil? What did
you do that job? I tell you what I'm watching
right now, Kezy get interviewed about just winning the world
titles and some third rate racing.
Speaker 8 (48:39):
Before tell you what I'll tell you what have trouble
getting any speed up with that honker?
Speaker 4 (48:43):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 8 (48:46):
What people don't know about me is I'm actually a
very generous man.
Speaker 6 (48:50):
No I know, because they've never seen in the there
is a way to work it out. And then you
get somebody that is an absolute expert specialists and massive honkers,
and that is keys where we go?
Speaker 8 (49:05):
Didn't you get like a table tennis ball stuck up
one of your nostrils?
Speaker 6 (49:08):
But they had to make another rule that if somebody
was throwing the ball kes he couldn't inhale through his nose.
I think if you made it, if you've got the
cash out, you made a big pile of it, it'll
be almost as messive as your honk. Yeah, well that's
not very much. Then they would get you very far.
They didn't ask any question they want. Yeah through three
(49:29):
for three, like how does Keesy stay standing up with
all the way front loaded on that massive.
Speaker 4 (49:36):
I was making television last night.
Speaker 2 (49:38):
Oh, you're embarrassing bodies because of that massive schnozzils.
Speaker 6 (49:51):
Loaded absolute olim so that one there from that it
was a crag. Yeah, so how's this going to work? So?
Speaker 2 (50:02):
I think the first thing we need to give concerned.
Speaker 6 (50:04):
I've got to say that most of that was me
begging Keysy of this. I've got a feeling that I've
got to be the biggest. I really hope it is.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
So obviously, the first thing we need to do is
established who is the smallest nose, right, roll that person out.
Speaker 6 (50:17):
So maybe we'll do that first. Pugs, that are right, absolutely,
that's fine.
Speaker 7 (50:20):
I've got my fault to here. That's his pugs only.
Speaker 6 (50:22):
All right, yeah, out top secret folder. Okay, so I've
got the placing before you just.
Speaker 4 (50:26):
Give us a result.
Speaker 6 (50:27):
Yes, you know them pugs.
Speaker 4 (50:29):
You were You're surprised? Was there anything that alarmed you?
Speaker 7 (50:32):
I can't say that I was surprised.
Speaker 4 (50:34):
Okay, but this one okay, so in third place?
Speaker 6 (50:37):
All right, here we go.
Speaker 5 (50:48):
Well, the deviation of twenty four point six percent from
the normal Keysynoll where knows.
Speaker 6 (51:10):
I got think? Can you smell it?
Speaker 8 (51:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (51:14):
You can?
Speaker 6 (51:14):
I can smell the fake Oh my goodness, so you're safe. Key,
I've got a tiny little nose.
Speaker 4 (51:19):
Was even worried.
Speaker 2 (51:23):
Oh my goodness, this is like winning.
Speaker 5 (51:27):
That was a meagement there, that twenty twenty four point
six percent deviation from what.
Speaker 7 (51:33):
The normal as according to doctor Dishel.
Speaker 6 (51:35):
So it's still above average absolute four. I got the
smallest nose.
Speaker 2 (51:43):
God yeah, all right, ready for the number one straight
who's got a bigger say?
Speaker 6 (51:49):
Yeah yeah, big old drum roll.
Speaker 7 (52:22):
With twenty six point five percent whity j oh yeah,
Captain Honker Hoidy j.
Speaker 4 (52:39):
I just want to say, fellas that are, I'm humbled.
Speaker 2 (52:45):
I can't understand you're so nasally.
Speaker 6 (52:52):
Tearing up.
Speaker 8 (52:53):
I knew when you were sort of your arm was
leaning towards Maigie that you were going to point at me,
and I'm devastated. Yeah, I'm gussid, but I'll take it
on the snores.
Speaker 6 (53:08):
I'd like to say it's nice for you to finally
get a win, brother, one of the all time great
moments on the Hurdarky Big Show.
Speaker 2 (53:18):
Just listening to that and reliving at Pugs, I still
felt the same joy I felt four years ago.
Speaker 7 (53:24):
One percent, and it hasn't quite stopped the Honker jokes.
Speaker 5 (53:27):
But what I will say is there are bigger radio
sessions out there that'll give away like fifty grand, and
they'll have a smaller build up to giving that away
than what we had for deciding who had the bigger
schnoz that drum roll was all time as well.
Speaker 2 (53:41):
If you want to listen to any of the Big
Show episodes from the past, give it a search where
you get your podcast from Hoducky Big Show.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarky.
Speaker 2 (53:58):
That is the Big Show done and Dust said for well,
the entire week actually, Pugs and myself really shouldering a
great load. But Pug's the great news is Moggie and
Houghty jab back on deck Monday and they'll be fit
and firing and fresh and ready to go.
Speaker 5 (54:11):
Absolutely, And you know what, I've missed them, and I'm
sure the people listening have too.
Speaker 7 (54:14):
But it has been a great pleasure holding down the
foot with you.
Speaker 6 (54:17):
Keezy.
Speaker 7 (54:18):
Thanks and I hope you have yourself a beautiful week.
And you've got much planned uh not.
Speaker 2 (54:23):
Going open homing old Keesy Solder's house and now needs
to find a new place, so you know, pretty much
walking into all these open homes and going is this
where I'm going to be living in a few months time?
Speaker 4 (54:33):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (54:33):
So the entire weekend is dedicated to that. Yeah, And
we were supposed to go for dinner with mates tomorrow night,
but they've come down with Nora virus, which.
Speaker 6 (54:42):
Happens that it's highly contagious.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
It's the thing you can catch on a cruise ship
where everyone all of a sudden just gets tummy set
in a very bad way.
Speaker 6 (54:50):
So they whip saying stay away to them, what do
you what are you up to?
Speaker 5 (54:55):
So tonight, final night at Haughty Jason. Howdy Jason, Final
night at Haughty Jason's. I'll probably try to get some
reburger fatigue because it's bachelor night tomorrow. He gets home,
so I'll head back over to mine and it's one
more Bachelor of the night before my partner gets back
on Sunday. So if you plans, there's a couple of
things happening around Tamakimikota where we live.
Speaker 7 (55:14):
Little festival happening on camung A Happy.
Speaker 6 (55:16):
Road up there, I might go check out.
Speaker 7 (55:17):
And I've got a gig tomorrow night as well, so yeah,
it should be fun.
Speaker 6 (55:23):
Bloody good stuff. Pugs.
Speaker 2 (55:24):
Thank you for your work this week, and thank you
to the listeners for tuning in the big show back
and full this coming Monday. Also, the Goat underway eight
am sharp. We'll see you then it's going to be
a hell of a week on Radio Hurdark.
Speaker 6 (55:37):
You see you, mate,
