Up next The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on
Radio Hot Cold Play.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
On The Hidarcky Big Show, it was Wednesday afternoon with
Keezy and pugs Caezy.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
This time two years ago, Hoody j was looking at
doing a bit of house maintenance and he saw it
as a really really wholesome Big Show team bonding opportunity.
Speaker 7 (02:40):
I actually I wanted Pugsund to come in for this
particular voice break because I wanted to talk to the
whole team. But he's he's so paranoid about Connie Chet
that he won't come in.
Speaker 6 (02:53):
Well, because every time he comes in, you play the
Connie Chet sting, and that is a case of.
Speaker 7 (02:57):
Crying wolf once bitten to our Yeah, okay, point, we
weren't going to do Connie chat, but I'll have to
go on without him.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
Now, Fellows got a favor to ask? How big a favor?
Because your favors tend to be messive. Well, it's not
that big a favor.
Speaker 7 (03:13):
But I say a favor, it's also could be a
really fun time and a good team building exercise for us,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
So don't look upon it as a favor.
Speaker 7 (03:23):
Look upon it as us spending time together having fun
and doing something with a purpose.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
If I can phrase it that way, sounds good.
Speaker 6 (03:31):
I love team building exercises.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
And also doingustic exercises. Stuff with a good for a
good purpose. Totally is a charity or something. No, it's
not a charity. Well, I guess in a way, it
kind of is.
Speaker 7 (03:44):
But my backyard is just blown out, fellas. But there's
been a lot going on. There's been a lot going
on in my life the last month or two, and
my backyard is just completely out of control black and
I really and my wife and I are sort of
(04:05):
thinking maybe of selling up and stuff like that. So
we just want to sort of tidy up the whole property.
And I was thinking, this is too big a job
for hoodie j. I mean, I'm a hard worker, don't
you worry about it, But it's too big for me,
you know. And I want to break up some pavements
and stuff as well, and get rid of that and
I thought, well, hang on, why don't I get the
feels around and we all work on it over the weekend,
(04:28):
we all chipping.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
You could bring your trucky, your little trucky, kids, and
we could load.
Speaker 7 (04:33):
The slabs on that, the concrete slabs, and you can
take it to the tip and just tidy the place up.
Speaker 5 (04:38):
You know. I'll make some snacks and stuff like that.
Speaker 7 (04:41):
Keysy can bring a few beersies pugs and can make
his sticky beef. It'll be fun, a bit of a
bit of a slumber party. My wife can go and
stay at her mates. Has came my daughter. Just be
a boy's weekend.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
So sweet Runner, I know you'll be massively involved. You'd
be telling us what to do. Oh you're yeah. I
wouldn't want to put you under any kind of because
sore backs. I wanted to talk to a back sound
about his shagger's back.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
But all right, can I just say, from what I've
heard so far, it doesn't sound very team building. It
sounds very renovate Hoidy J's property completely through him, which
I know is a shambles well and like a massive,
massive job.
Speaker 6 (05:23):
Oh look, it's a massive job. But I just feel
that Cray Senior house. You said as an absolute style.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
Did I?
Speaker 7 (05:30):
The thing is, I think the sense of achievement at
the end of it, you know where we've all worked together.
We've knitted together as a team, and Hoidy Jay's property
looks prem Yeah. We've had a few laughs along the way,
a few beersies, maybe a couple of BUCkies, you know,
a bit of sticky beef, are you keen?
Speaker 5 (05:50):
Well, how about this?
Speaker 2 (05:51):
We'll do that and then after that we do my
place because my backyard needs tining up as well.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
I'm not going there easy.
Speaker 7 (05:58):
It's a horror of the mess around you on mcmogie
was telling me he's seen its is in an absolute
bloody sty.
Speaker 5 (06:05):
Did you say that?
Speaker 6 (06:06):
Oh me?
Speaker 5 (06:07):
Yeah, yeah, Yeah, it's a shocker.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Also, you said loading blocks and concrete onto my truck
instead of loading what's that about?
Speaker 8 (06:20):
You guys started it?
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Geez, all of us there were on a mispronouncing words
bloody spree, won't we.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
Yeah, but at least you stay on track with the
yarn man.
Speaker 5 (06:31):
Yeah, we gave it a crack there.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
It's funny watching Jason constantly get sidetracked by other yards

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Sad it is. It's a lovely song.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
We also had Neil texting and he suggested nine inch
Nails closer.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
I love the song, it's a little less romantic.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
It's not very romantic, is it. I suppose it depends
who you're you're playing it too. That's one A great
suggestion from Justin Robin Hood. Of course everything I do.
Brian Adams, you know that's that is an all time
great love song. Can't play Brian Adams on Hodaki though.
This suggestion from Nick Love bites from def Leppard.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
Funk Back Pugs.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
That's about giving someone a hecky oh no, it's not
I made that up.
Speaker 5 (09:04):
Okay.

Stayed together regards. This is one of my all time
favorite songs. I Don't blame you, so love you.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
That's my greatest of all time love songs it is.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
And I'm gonna be honest that was top two for
me as well. But in the end I was like,
what is love?
Speaker 6 (09:37):
Man?
Speaker 5 (09:37):
And Pugs fied off.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
This is love right here we're talking Barry very White.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Wow, the love's just oozing out of me hearing.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
Oh it feels so good you hear that?
Speaker 6 (09:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Isn't that sixy?
Speaker 5 (09:54):
It's a little sixier?
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Yeah, lying here next to you. One of the all
time great very White songs.
Speaker 5 (09:59):
What's it called.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
It's called I'm Gonna Love You just a little more.
Speaker 5 (10:02):
Baby, that's right.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
I just called it my smush song.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
No, I don't.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
That's which one would you like to vote for New Zealand?

Radio head on the Hodarky Big Show. Reminder to keep
an ear out for the cu to call and you
could be joining Pugs myself, Hoiity j and Margie flying
down to Willington, free flights, free accommodation for beer Barna.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
Another best of the Big Show moment from August past Keezy.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
This time last year we were down.
Speaker 5 (10:35):
Two people of the Big Show.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
The joke the people yearned to get the Fellers back,
but instead, out of that trouble one of the greatest
radio duos of all time was born.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Oh god, hey, it says here that Pugs has got
some amazing stings.
Speaker 7 (10:52):
Yeah, well, while you were away, obviously, Fellers, it was
just a two of us here battling away with two
thirds of the show away.
Speaker 5 (10:58):
And can I just say once again, amazing I was
listening to the podcast while I was in Europe. God, yeah,
you know.
Speaker 7 (11:05):
And the reality is one of the big things we
had to decide our name. We were running with the
Hodaki Big chode for a long time.
Speaker 5 (11:13):
It's a good name. Let's talk us through it. Wow,
just the radio Hodaki big Chode. But why is it?
Because you're sure it speaks for itself? Geezy, you know
what I mean? Yeah, right, okay. But we put it to.
Speaker 7 (11:27):
The people, and the one that got the most overwhelming response,
which we were both a little bit unsure of at first,
was sperm Boy and the Jezz. Now, I've got to say,
after my initial thought, it grew on me. Yeah right,
And so we went with sperm Boy and the Jazz,
(11:47):
and then dra and then of course pugsun made all
these incredible stings for sperm.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
Boy and the going to Save Yeah we can far away. Okay,
all right, here's the first one, Pugs more like Scowboy
of the Jez. So good. How good? So that's what
you guys were playing while we were, well, no, I'll
(12:12):
get to I'll get to the drama. Keep playing the
other one. There's more than one. Screwboy so good, so good,
kick go and the Jews.
Speaker 8 (12:29):
That's my favorite one, the Jews.
Speaker 5 (12:32):
Yeah right right, there's one more. You want to hear
that one?
Speaker 8 (12:34):
Yes, spurb Boy, that's pretty good as well. Yeah, they're
pretty good. Yeah, then drama fellas.
Speaker 7 (12:46):
Then drama management got involved and said, you can't call
yourself spun Boy.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
And the JEZ.
Speaker 7 (12:53):
Yeah, why you know, and Pugs had made all these
four sensational things which we couldn't be play right because
management bogs he up in his eye, fory tie, We're
not having it, So we kind of had to run
with the Hodecki Big chowd for the rest of the time.
But we got sperm Boy and the jis in there sometimes.
Speaker 5 (13:14):
Right, okay?
Speaker 2 (13:14):
And why why were you called Spoonboy and the JS
because I can see where Bogs is coming from.
Speaker 7 (13:19):
Well, it's just that's what the people when they yeah,
they voted when they visualized the two of us working together,
it was Spumboy and obvious. Obvious reasons for old Pugs
are the stallion that he is. You know how many
condoms he goes through, man, And of course I know
I'm the Jezz. It is it makes sense.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Yeah, Actually, Pugs, how you finding It've been back in
the producers both mate.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
It feels really good, man. I'm just happy to have
the full show back.
Speaker 6 (13:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
Yeah, honestly, Spumboy and the JS will stick with me.
Speaker 5 (13:49):
That forever. I'll say that, same here, Pugs, Thanks, Hey,
same here.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
Man.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
I was listening to me, yeah, yeah, ever run in
Europe was talking about it all.
Speaker 5 (13:58):
Sperm boy and the was on everybody's lips.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Do you know what that was saying?
Speaker 5 (14:04):
You simply must listen to it.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Tell you what, when you're on holiday and you work
in radio, you're always thinking, oh, I wonder how the
radio shows go.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
So many people thought that Hoody Jeers, well the ers
in this case, and I spind Boy would be merely
surviving Keyzy, but we were thriving.
Speaker 5 (14:21):
Man, I don't think you were pugs.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
I think I think it was the same as someone
last in the middle of the ocean, desperately trying to
keep their head above water.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
And then Kezy and Mogi get home from Europe, you
simply muster.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
Have you seen the lifeboats? Those four stings that just
played me, those are the lifeboats.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Super So whenever you start sinking quick far off a sting,
that's it.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
That's pretty much exactly what we did.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yeah, And when we're struggling, pugs, you know what we do.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
We played mus The Hodarchy Big show was Jason, Mike
and kezy tune.
Speaker 5 (14:50):
In on radio. Can I get me Buddy of Beer
is a big show Bavana support brew crew.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
A beer that's right, your chance to win flights, accommodation
tickets to be Vanna and also join the Hodarcky team
down at Bethel Woods, which is a great bar in
the center of Wellington. There we are broadcasting on Thursday,
the twentieth of August, eight days away.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
Actually, yeah, it's come up pretty quick.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Certainly has doing a live show four or seven pm.
So you'll be part of the crew for that. And
by part of the crew, I mean Pugs might attempt
to give you some jobs to do, but mostly you'll
just be wearing just be wearing a backbone shirt and
drinking beers and stuff like that responsibly. Of course, all
you have to do is listen out for the Q
to call, then ring our weight one hundred Hodarchy. Let's
go to the lines. Now, get a Paul. How are
you going?
Speaker 5 (15:39):
I'm good? Yeah, good mate. What have you been doing today?
Speaker 2 (15:41):
Man?
Speaker 5 (15:43):
Just working on a compliance officer? Aha? What are you complying? Paul?
We're chicking resource and sent top of them. Yeah cool, yeah, nice,
that sounds like fun.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Paul. Do you think, Paul, that you could check the
compliance that everybody's having beers and a good time at
Beervana at the Support crew show next week?
Speaker 5 (16:05):
Nice Pugs, Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
Good stuff, absolutely of it.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Whats what Pugs was doing there, Paul? Is a good test?
Is he was showing you what someone steamed looks like.
So if you see that and you're part of the crew,
you need to basically kick them out of the pub.
Speaker 5 (16:24):
Is that all good?
Speaker 6 (16:25):
That sounds good to me?
Speaker 5 (16:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (16:26):
You're good on you, mate, if you if you win, mate,
who will you bring with you?
Speaker 5 (16:31):
I think I'll bring my wife? Actually, it would be
nice anniversary outing.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Yeah, she'll be stoked, man, She'll be like, oh, what
do we doing for our anniversary? You're going to go
to the big show at a pub. That's great and
Pugs will be steamed. Paul, you're in the draw, mate.
Speaker 5 (16:46):
You hold the line, all right.
Speaker 4 (16:47):
You don't have to hold the line. Ball, I've got
you in here.
Speaker 5 (16:49):
Brother.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
You hold the line, brother, Love, you hold the line.
Speaker 5 (16:52):

Speaker 5 (17:13):
Playing with the dog.
Speaker 7 (17:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
What kind of dog you got, man, Unaunngle. Oh nice,
pretty active dog man. You have to take it for
lots of runs and stuff.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
Right, yep, she's got a lot of Yeah. Good on

Speaker 2 (17:27):

Wheezer the Hidichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodichy.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
Wheezer On The Hidarky Big Show. Wednesday afternoon with Keezy
and Pugs, it is almost five o'clock, which means it's
time to talk Telly. What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
Yeah you, Mike Minogue's not here, but they won't stop
us from chatting TV.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
Pugs all that you rip in.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
Mate, I watched one of my favorite things I've watched
this entire year.
Speaker 4 (18:36):
Wow, and the top of my list so far for television.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
Gave me two halves, thanks mate, I appreciate that feedback.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
I was actually talked back.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
No, it was Hecks. It's a comedy series, that is.
I think it's got like five seasons. It's just finished
its final season, got about twenty six Emmys to its name.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
It is not the usual show that I would come
on here and recommend to the Hodiky listeners.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
But if you feel like you're listening and you've heard
me before and you think, oh, you know, I feel
like my sense of humor.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
Aligns with pugsun, maybe get around it. Give it a go.
Speaker 5 (19:06):
What is it.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
It's basically about a aging comedian with a residency in
Las Vegas who gets assigned by her agent a young
writer who's just been canceled online. And yes, this is
on tvings It isn't it is this? Yeah, I'm pretty
sure it is two of the seasons, like two and three.
But I watched it on High U, which is like
the thing on Prime which has Below Deck and Real
(19:28):
Housewives on ice Man. But I was like, I want
to give this a go, and it was. It was
genuinely the funniest thing I've watched all yet.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
Yeah, I loved it.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Some people won't agree, but what I like about it
is that whether you have like a more old school
sense of humor or you're very much like part of
the new school, and there's something.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
For you there as well.
Speaker 5 (19:46):
Yeah, Noice, I like it.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
Hecks Hecks on IU, which is an extension on Prime.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
Such a hard or just go.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Tvings in Yeah, it's such a hard place.
Speaker 5 (19:54):
To go and get it from.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
Yeah, it was a but to be feir.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
My partner's a big Real Housewives fan, so we've got
two for one, right Yeah, oh no, Real Housewives.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
She does like blow Dick, No, Okay, I watched another
episode of Outrageous Fortune. Because the way my wife works
TV wise pugs and people that are regulous. As might realize,
my wife likes watching low steaks reality stuff like Grand Designs, Location, location, Location,
and usually because we are making our way through the
first season of Outrageous Fortune. I've never seen it before.
(20:24):
It's really really good. It's all on TV and Z plus.
We'll go an episode about Rageous Fortune in the next night.
She'll go, oh, maybe just something chill tonight aka Grand Designs,
you know, low touch.
Speaker 5 (20:34):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Last night I went to put on Grand Designs. Kevin
McLeod was literally on the screen ready to go, and
she was like, oh, watching Outrageous Fortune.
Speaker 4 (20:44):
Kevin McLeod, the ball guy.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Yeah, the British guy. Wow, crush the pugs. She has
a crush on the New Zealand not every balldrip ball guy.
She doesn't just like balled guys. She she has a
crush on the New Zealand hosts of the New Zealand version.
Although to me here I have a crush on Kevin McLeod.
He's an absolutely legend. Okay, but yeah, so just it's
(21:07):
a testament to the quality of Outrageous Fortune. We're up
to episode nine now of the first season. The characters
are great. I love them and then I hate them,
and that I love them. Shere A West so great, incredible.
Robin Malcolm is just such a great actress, and like,
obviously allegid people know this, but I love her character.
She friggin' rules. And the best part is heaps of
(21:27):
the scenes. Like at one point, Pascal, who's one of
the daughters, she was sitting in a park which is
around the corner from my house and I hate.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
Oh my god, that's the park. Yeah, the park, I
remember the part.
Speaker 5 (21:38):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
And then there's a moment where she gets invited to
her boss's house for a drink and I'm like, I
don know where that house is. I know the outlook
that's on the peninsula. It stuff so much fun to
film Outyeah, it would have. And the great thing is Jace,
who's on the show, was part of filming and he
can't remember anything fantastic because I'm pretty sure he was
steemed coming up after five o'clock. More best of the
Big Show moments plus Pugs. You've got some career advice
(22:02):
you need man.
Speaker 5 (22:02):
Is that right?
Speaker 4 (22:03):
Yeah, from a great actor like yourself.
Speaker 5 (22:05):
Oh, Keeezy, I'm not an actor, Pugs, I do it
on radio DJ.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
Your acting as a radio DJ.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
WHOA The Hdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days at four on Radio hod Iic.
Speaker 5 (22:19):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
It is the Hurdarcky Big Show for Wednesday, the twelfth
of August twenty twenty.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
Sex.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
You've got Keyzy, You've got Pugs and Hoidy, j and
Mogi off on holiday. The full show back Monday. The
Goat Countdown kicks off Monday morning. It is all happening
here on Hurdarky folks. And of course it doesn't matter
who was on the Big Show. It was always brought
to you by Reburger.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Hancrafted Burgers, loaded fries and Gormet eats.
Speaker 5 (22:39):
That will change the game. Rebig good. Yeah, I know
you go.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
No. I was gonna say you remember yesterday when I
was talking about that person that called me a sea
bomb at that party last Friday over a bag of
stolen popcorn. Yeah, onerecent So I saw her mate last
night when I was out for a beer with my
other mate, right, and she goes, hey, popcorn stealer, and
I was like, ah, yeah, as you made okay, and
she's like.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
I don't know what her problem was. Yeah, great, so
she was.
Speaker 4 (23:08):
She was on a real serious vibe that night.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Yea. And it doesn't it doesn't like the fact that
we're dedicating this much chat about it just.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
Didn't line up.
Speaker 5 (23:16):
Yeah, but it was validating. Yeah, okay, well that's good both.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
So these your update on the pugs being a sea bomb.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
What I was going to update the audience on is
the fact that there is a severe thunderstorm warning issued
for the far North potential flooding. Yeah, and the audience went,
know this, But Hoidy J. Today he booked up north
and he's he's literally on his way there right now
to go up north for a few days.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
Yeah, I'm house sitting for him.
Speaker 5 (23:38):
You are house sitting for him, that's right.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
So look, obviously we don't want anything bad to happen
up there up north. But it's just it's a wee
bit funny that the moment Haughty J finally gets a
week off and books a place up north and goes
on holiday, Boom heavy weather issued obvious classic jas. It
is classic Jase stay safe up there? Of course? Oh
(24:00):
is the Actic Monkeys.
Speaker 5 (24:01):
I've heard of these guys, the Monkeys.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
What the Hierarchy Big Show week days from four on
Radio hod Achs.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
Specially Pumpkins on The Hidarchy Big Show Wednesday afternoon with
Kezy and Pugs.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Now this time last year, Mike Minogue took us first
ever trip over to Europe. We lost him for a
couple of weeks there, but one of the biggest parts
of him going overseas was seeing one of the biggest
bands in the world with one of the biggest revivals
in the world Oasis. Oh yeah, one of the biggest
gigs ever, right, like that whole tour. But not only
wasn't it an incredible gig, he witnessed an absolute shocker.
Speaker 5 (24:34):
In the most previously that song.
Speaker 7 (24:36):
Of course, we played Oasis and our man himself, Old
Morgie got to see them live in the flesh at
Wembley Stadium, took us through at Moggie.
Speaker 5 (24:45):
Sure, dude, man, I mean where do you start?
Speaker 2 (24:49):
I guess, well, can you start by saying ninety thousand?
Speaker 6 (24:53):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (24:53):
I think it was the largest concert on their entire tour.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
Yeah, they did three there.
Speaker 6 (24:57):
They did three there, so it was I was at
the last night of the Wembley run, so yeah, ninety
thousand people. I decided that I wasn't going to get
on it number one, number one because I had sign
a sideus and I had done since I got off
the long haul flight, so I was feeling pretty tip top,
but also because I thought the vibe looks like it's
so good from what I'm saying on Instagram, I'm not
(25:18):
sure you need to. So got there and I had
about maybe ten pints, so just cruise.
Speaker 5 (25:26):
So sort of you know, a couple here and there.
Speaker 6 (25:29):
There's a band called Cast that opened you heard them,
Nah garbage open Cast. Yeah, don't bother with them really,
But then Richard Ashcroft came on. We play a few
of his songs here bit a sweet Symphony from the
ver Yeah, a lucky Man, the drags don't work, all
of that great, great warm up stuff. And then Oasis
came on for I think they played for about two hours.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (25:51):
And the reason why I wanted to go over there
was because I wanted to see them in front of
their people. You know, they are working class heroes over there.
They you know, the mother, she was a single mother
raised three sons from the estates over the absolute bones
and there are sort of styles. And then to go
from there to being the biggest band in the world.
Great story. And they're more popular over there than they
(26:13):
are anywhere else. And that was what it was like. Generally,
you go to any kind of a concert, there's always
a portion of the crowd, even if you're down here
at Vector or wherever where everyone's just sitting down or
you know, they'll just be like, you know, kind of
into this band, but not really into this band. For this,
every single person was on their feet for the entirety
of the concert, and every single person was singing every
(26:34):
single lyric of all of it right. And it was
ninety thousand people and it was at Wembley. It was,
without a doubt, the best concert that I've ever been to.
And it was one hundred percent worth the trip and
every single penny that I spent on it. Keeping in
mind that I had pretty high expectations of what it
(26:54):
was going to be, and it lived up to and
exceeded every single one of those expectations on every single level.
Speaker 7 (27:00):
Holy cow, how good man, because you sent through some
of you, you know, you had a few quiets now,
just to settle the nerves. Some pretty phenomenal drinking stats.
Oh yeah from the concert. Yeah, you know, ninety thousand
people there are collipsing all the drinking records previous to
that because I'm pecking and it was unsurprising that the
(27:21):
Oasis fan likes a pint.
Speaker 5 (27:23):
Well, yeah, that's true. But there was no one that
was maggoted right now. You could see ninety well.
Speaker 6 (27:28):
Well yeah, I mean there was everybody around us was
all good, like you always see steamed people at every
single concept, but this was people did It was like
they didn't want to bug it up. There was one
guy that got dragged out who was behind us. That
took about fifteen or twenty security guards to drag him out. Wow,
because it was about halfway through and he was simply
not going to miss that concert. He wasn't trying punches,
(27:49):
but he was not leaving. So anytime a metal pole
came near him, he was clinging on to them with life.
Speaker 5 (27:56):
It took them a long time to get him out.
Speaker 6 (27:58):
One of the great travesty moments of the whole thing was,
and I carry a little bit of gilt around. This
was while we were there a guy who was probably
about forty ish or so proposed, well, while Oasis was playing,
proposed to his girlfriend right right.
Speaker 5 (28:16):
In front of us.
Speaker 6 (28:16):
So we're sort of standing up on a balcony sort
of thing and it was sort of down there, and
he proposed to her. She said no, She said no, no,
and then they started arguing. They were arguing then and
now they're at this Oasis CONTs are arguing for about
ten minutes. He's trying to talk her into it, she's
(28:37):
not having it. And I was shouting out of them,
is another time another planet Oasis is on? You're going
to ruin a bleagon. I just put it away, exists,
get on with it. But they couldn't hear me. They
couldn't hear me. So to get their attention, I put
together a few of the pints, the plastic pints that
(28:58):
I've been collecting at my feet empty now, yeah, and
I bounced them off the guy's head.
Speaker 5 (29:02):
Right just to try and get his attention.
Speaker 6 (29:04):
Yeah right, But he took that as a final humiliation
and he's stormed out of the concert.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 6 (29:11):
And then his fried to be or not chased it
chased him out. So I don't know if they got
to see the rest.
Speaker 5 (29:18):
Of the gig. What a way to ruin Just an
all time amazing gig. I know, Beggar esque huge risk.
If you think you absolutely.
Speaker 6 (29:27):
Getting the years, yeah, yeah, she was more of a
definitely maybe. Anyway, if you get a change, Jase to
see Oasis at Wembley in front of ninety thousand people, use.
Speaker 5 (29:42):
Where where's Wembley againners and the UK? Oh UK? Next
You're to Buckingham Palace. Okay, and UK is not part
of Europe anymore? Oasis Wembley.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
Whenever you hear Hoidy j pretending to write something down,
he just writes it on the piece of paper Pugs
that you print out for us before each show the
show planner does he actually write, Yeah, he writes it
and really scrawled handwriting, and then at the end of
the show screws it up and throws it in the bin,
throws a metis, throws it at you, throws it around
the studio in general. The Big Show back in full
this coming Monday, along with the Goat Countdown which kicks
(30:16):
off as well. It's all happening here on Radio Hodarchy.
Speaker 5 (30:18):
What tune do we got? Ah?
Speaker 2 (30:20):
Is this screen day speaking of Yes, this goes out
to Jas who's in a thunder storm up north right now.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
Pill Jam on the Hdarchy Big Shirt is Wednesday evening
with Kezy and Pugs on full Show back Monday.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
Keezy, I think I need some advice from you man.
Speaker 5 (30:38):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
Obviously, I've been working behind the scenes at the Big
Show for about four years now, and I'm looking to
maybe brunch out a little bit, try something new, and
so I'm looking at signing on to an ad.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
Agency, an ad agency. Okay, So for the listeners, what
is an aired agency going to do?
Speaker 3 (30:53):
So, as far as I'm aware, an ad agency is
somewhat agency is someone that represents you and tries to
get you gigs and stuff in that sort of world.
So this one would be along the lines of TV
commercials or maybe even dramatic acting, okay acting and stuff
like that, and so they would represent me in those
scenarios and try and.
Speaker 4 (31:12):
Find me jobs.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
Yeah while I still do sorry, excuse me, while I
still do my day to day here at the Hot
Achuy Picture.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
Yeah right, Okay, So because you've got a look about you.
You know what I mean, You've got you've got a
look about you.
Speaker 4 (31:25):
Well, yes, you've got one too whole.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
No, but I'm serious, Like you've got a pretty like
you've got a unique look.
Speaker 5 (31:34):
Pugs, thank you.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
And in my experience, and like, you can take this
as a negative if you want to, I would encourage
you to take it as a positive in my experience,
because I've done a bit of a few auditions and stuff,
and every single time I have lost out. Well I've
never begged a single one, to be honest, but every
single time I've lost out to someone who has an
interesting look.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
Right, So you think that gets you along the way
a lot.
Speaker 5 (31:57):
Of the time.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
I think that will make up a lot of your
shortcomings in the acting department. Is like oh if that guy,
oh that goes a little bit wooden or whatever, but
far out the mullet and the mustache, memorable.
Speaker 4 (32:11):
Man, so good. I think.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
Yeah, I'm just curious as to I guess how best
to conduct myself. I mean, you've you've had representation before.
Oh yeah, you know you know how that kind of goes,
because you know you're inviting someone else to basically have
influence over potentially over your career and the moves that
you make.
Speaker 5 (32:28):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
So I would say very important if you have representation
that you know, if they are putting you forward for auditions,
you are open and respond and like you will even
say yes to some just to give it a crack,
just to show that you're keen, especially early doors. So
if they send you one and it's like, hey, Parks,
we want you to do this really punishing sounding one.
Speaker 5 (32:47):
What do you think like early doors?
Speaker 2 (32:49):
Just give it a go, just have a crack, because honestly,
the first and I've only done five auditions for ADS
and then I actually thought, you know what, I don't
even want to be in ads? Really good, yeah, one
hundred percent. I was like, this is not what I
want to do.
Speaker 4 (33:01):
I might get there too. I'm just I'm curious.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
But you'd be better than I am, I think, to
be honest, you would be appreciate that. But one thing
you're gonna have to get used to is, and I
don't think ever will is walking into that audition room
seeing six other dudes that look vaguely like you, like
you know what I mean, and then having to go
and do a make believe scene to a camera or
a person holding a camera and then then being like, Okay.
(33:24):
The other thing too is they make you to do
a self tape where you film yourself.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
I think I'd rather do that at home. Nah, I
think I would rather do that at home. Just and
this is without doing it yet. Yeah, you know, than
be in a room with six other pug souns. But
you get separated from Yeah, tell me about it. You
get separated from the other pug Stuns, so they are
left in the pug Sun pen over there, and they
sort of shepherd you one at a time, shepherd you out. Yeah,
sort of like when the sheep are getting you know.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
A little tap on your barm, that's right.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
Yeah, it's like carving, and you get separated off and
then you get you get moved into the we'll call
this other era the slaughter house. Oh, perfectly, no, but
it should be good, would be great.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hurdich Bush.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
On The Hurdarchy Big Show, it was Wednesday Evening with
Kezy and pog Sun. Full showback Monday.
Speaker 3 (34:10):
Kevin, You're Fab with Moggi and Hoody ja Away. Another
best of the Big Show moment from a couple of
years ago. You just can't keep those fellers from talking
about film and TV. That's their bread and butter, and
they were actually doving into one of their favorite childhood films.
Speaker 7 (34:25):
I was talking the other day Mogi Keezy on What's
on the TV with Mikemanog how I watched one of
the old Planet of the Eight movies and how coy
it was seeing how you know, technology was back then
and the costumes and special effects, and it got me
thinking about that great show back in the day, Charlie's
Angels that you remember Charlie's.
Speaker 5 (34:46):
Angels, Yeah, man, didn't. It was hot. It was really hot.
Captured the world that series.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
Because that was that was like a series what in
the eighties or something, or.
Speaker 5 (35:00):
I think it's a little bit of cross over.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
The since remade it or even I remember, so I
think so yeah, I.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
Think they've really made it a couple of times, to
be honest. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's bood good. You've seen that.
Speaker 2 (35:11):
I haven't seen it. No, I've obviously heard about it.
I've heard the name, you know, good eating. Yeah, it's
good eating.
Speaker 7 (35:15):
Oh yeah, it's basically about For those that haven't heard
of it, Charlie's Angels. Charlie's Angels, because you should go
and check it out. It's worth it's worth a watch.
It's basically about a really poor kid who lives with
his grandparents and parents and a very sort of slummy
little hovel, a hellhole. It's a hellhole, if I could
(35:38):
be so bold. They all sleep in the same bed.
Speaker 5 (35:40):
Yeah, they all sleep in the same bed.
Speaker 7 (35:41):
And the nice thing about it is actually the family
is very close loving.
Speaker 5 (35:47):
It's just very small.
Speaker 6 (35:48):
It's only got one room in it, got a bucket
and the toilet for to deficting.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
Yeah, I mean, okay.
Speaker 7 (35:55):
It was the sort of set up that you couldn't
have a keyesy midnight steamer in there, you know what
I'm saying you because we're ruined it forevery.
Speaker 5 (36:01):
He could but won't be happy.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
Yeah yeah, yeah, but anyway Charlie's Angels.
Speaker 6 (36:06):
Yeah, and so anyway, this little fallery just sort of
wants more for his life and he's got and fair enough.
You know, there's this there's this local fella. There is
a chocolate chocolate tear, isn't it. He's chocolate tar. He's
he's got this humongous factory and essentially, as it turns out,
this fella there is looking for somebody to hand down
(36:26):
his chocolate factory to his old chocolate.
Speaker 5 (36:29):
Empire, an empire estate.
Speaker 6 (36:32):
So he's running this competition and people can win these
golden tickets. Right, you buy this chocolate bar, and anyway,
old granddad there he's given his grandson there. He finds
a little penny that he doesn't goff, you go and
you buy a chocolate bar, and blah blah blah, and
and he keeps on losing, losing, losing. Anyway, eventually he
wins and he goes off and he goes into the
chocolate factory.
Speaker 5 (36:50):
It's about half a dozen winners I think, for.
Speaker 7 (36:51):
Yes, and most of them are not really deserving, no,
you know what I mean, they're wretch and their parents
sort of.
Speaker 5 (36:59):
It's a mean Charlie sort of story. Up to that
point was a bit like me with lotto, you know,
where he just buys something and would never win. Yes,
but then he does get.
Speaker 7 (37:09):
The golden ticket, doesn't he Yeah, exactly right.
Speaker 6 (37:11):
And anyway, all of the other kids that the other
winners of the golden tickets, they're keys, they're all kids.
Because he's looking for somebody to be a successor, right, yeah, right, Okay,
they all die and so through through attrition. Really, isn't
it survival of the fittest through their own that well,
it's it's I'll be honest with you. And this is
(37:33):
kind of the time that the TV show Charlie's Angels
has said, and the occupational safety standards were terrible, didn't exist.
So they're going through this factory and people are getting
killed left, right and center. Their drowning and an action
an action, it's a serious it's bloody terrible.
Speaker 7 (37:50):
But also what was really nice about all the you know,
these kids dying and stuff, it's because of their own greed.
Speaker 5 (37:55):
You a story behind each of them, yes, indeed?
Speaker 6 (38:00):
Yeah Everest Everest yea yes, And so ultimately old Charlie,
you know, to make a long story short, as the
hero of the day, wow, and ends up winning, doesn't
he He becomes a successor, yes, and then for he's
the king, he's the champ.
Speaker 5 (38:18):
Right because basically he's a good bastard. He's a backbone.
That's the thing.
Speaker 6 (38:23):
Like this was before backbones, but Charlie was probably an
og backbone yet right.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
Yes, why is it called Charlie's Angels. Though all those
other kids died, so they went up to heaven? Yeah yeah,
or hell right, some of them would have gone to hell. Actually,
I got nice kids, you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
it's called Charlie Charlie's Angels.
Speaker 5 (38:44):
Oh, I have to look it up?
Speaker 2 (38:45):
Ye do do?
Speaker 7 (38:45):
Man?
Speaker 5 (38:46):
I think your wife would love it. That's a good reminder.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
Actually, pugs some when was that break from two years ago?
Speaker 3 (38:52):
Ran about this time of year, August twenty twenty four.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
And that's the thing is you say stuff like, oh,
check it out, and then two years that I still
haven't watched that film, which sounds like a great films.
Speaker 3 (39:00):
You still haven't seen Charlie's Angels. Nah, serious, man, I
must check it out.
Speaker 5 (39:04):
Have you seen it?
Speaker 2 (39:04):
New Zealand three four eight three flickers of texts give
us a review? Should I waste my time on Charlie's Angels?
Weird plot? Not what I was expecting. Guns n' Roses Now.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodachy.
Speaker 5 (39:23):
That's right, it is the Big Show for August twelve.
It is a win.
Speaker 2 (39:26):
Steve You've got Kezy and Pugs, Houghty J and MOGGI
are on holiday back Monday, and the Goat.
Speaker 5 (39:31):
Starts Monday as well.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Regardless, the Big Show will forever be brought to you
by Reburger.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
Crave with the street food freshly made with read, big.
Speaker 5 (39:40):
Yish, crumbly obtious. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
At this point in the show, Pugs, we always like
to delve into what each member of the Big Show
is having for tea tonight.
Speaker 5 (39:49):
I will start last night.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
I had a slow cooker pork shoulder Dan's right, which
I made, and then we slow cooked throughout the day
and then we pulled apart and made tacos last night.
There was so much pork that and I love it.
When this happened, I sent to my wife, Hey, why
don't we do it again tomorrow? So picked up the
whole pot with lid from the slow cooker into the
fridge overnight.
Speaker 5 (40:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:10):
Back into the slow cooker today on low just as
I left for work to re Yeah. Because have you
ever looked at a slow cooker after it's gone cold?
You lift the stuff in there?
Speaker 5 (40:20):
No, you don't.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
So I'm hoping by the time I get home it
doesn't look like a congealed, disgusting miss and it actually
is delicious again fantastic.
Speaker 4 (40:28):
Yeah, I love a double whammy meal.
Speaker 5 (40:30):
Yeah, what do you have?
Speaker 4 (40:31):
I am going out fatigue again?
Speaker 3 (40:33):
Yes, because I'm house sitting for Haughty Jake and round
the corner from him, there's a mushroom festival happening just
sort of down the road there, So a bunch of
restaurants along one road are doing mushroom dishes in some
reaction of the mushroom festival. My partner's vegetarian. I love mushrooms.
I'm a huge fan. So we're going to go to
a particular spot that I haven't been to before and
(40:55):
try what they're offering up for the mushroom festival before
we go to our gig.
Speaker 4 (40:59):
Are you gonna do any mushroom huh?
Speaker 5 (41:01):
What? Uh?
Speaker 2 (41:04):
How long are you house sitting for till Saturday?
Speaker 5 (41:06):
Are you gonna go to Houghty Jay's Hot pot while
living at Houghty Jay's house.
Speaker 3 (41:09):
I think I will be because my partner's away Friday Saturday,
so I'm going to be a free man.
Speaker 4 (41:13):
I'm going to walk around with my arms behind my back.
Speaker 5 (41:15):
You know what you should do?
Speaker 2 (41:16):
Go to Houghty Jay's Hot Pot, then go to Houghty
J's Frozen Yoga for dessert, and then watch Samsung TV
Fantastic Zoo. This is a tune by the way, Audio
Slave CoA cheese or isn't coach eyes?
Speaker 5 (41:27):
Who cares?
Speaker 1 (41:28):
You're on HADARKI The Hodiarchy Big Show with Jon, Mike
and Kezy. Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodachy.
Speaker 5 (41:35):
Dave Grohl and the Fillies.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
It is the Hudaky Big Show Wednesday Evening with Keezy
and Pugs Head at Pugs. What's on the news with
me Chazy? Interesting stuff happening in China. There was a
one child policy for a long time. They're Pugs yes
as a result, which meant basically they were encouraging families
(41:57):
to only have one child. However, obviously, the male usually
traditionally carries forward the family name, so that meant that
there was a real influx of people keeping male children
and unfortunately getting rid of female children, which now means
there are thirty million more males in China than there
are females.
Speaker 4 (42:17):
That is one of the great backfires of all time.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
It is right, It is a shocker, and what that
means is they're thirty million. That's what how many millionaire
in New Zealand, you know what I mean, that's five
times the amount of people in New Zealand. That is
how many more males there are than females in China.
As a result, there are a lot of lonely middle
aged men who have not been able to find a partner.
So there there has been a new scam that pops
(42:42):
up in magazines and newspapers.
Speaker 4 (42:45):
And basically, girl Man, what actually.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
Happens is a postal pop up on a newspaper and
magazine and say, hey, there are women from this particular
province are guay Yang, which is a sort of poorer province,
and the family is traditionally a poor over there. If
you will allow them to move to your house, give
them a home and stuff, then there are these women
who are ready to you know, be part of a family.
(43:10):
And the trade offers they get to leave their poor
village on the site far flung side of the country,
move to somewhere a bit more you know, modern, and
as a result, you know, you'll have a happy family.
And there's so many lonely people out there that the
pugs you're looking at me weird. Trust me, there's nothing
weird going.
Speaker 5 (43:26):
Just let me finish. Okay, I haven't seen anything.
Speaker 2 (43:28):
Man. It's a scam though, right because what happens, as
the agency says, like the way it works is, you
guys have to get married, so we'll tear you up.
You can meet online a couple of times and then
you have to and it's a big red flag give
all your life savings and then rarely we marry you.
And then the life savings is put together like a
family trust.
Speaker 5 (43:46):
Sort of thing.
Speaker 2 (43:46):
Oh my god, yeah, one hundred percent. But these guys
are so lonely and desperate it's quite sad. And so
this is there's an example here reading on the BBC
News site of a guy called Wang Xuang who was
thirty seven, did this exact thing, meet the lady ts online,
gave the agency his life savings, immediately lost all of it.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
Right.
Speaker 2 (44:05):
Yeah, turns out the lady he met was a former
karaoke hostess who's been married three times, has three children
and I'm quoting here a serious sexually transmitted disease.
Speaker 5 (44:14):
And deeply in debt, and she lied about her age.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
He's now married to her, and the agency has taken
all of the funds, but.
Speaker 4 (44:22):
At least you wouldn't be lonely, right, Oh, or is
she even gonna go over there?
Speaker 5 (44:26):
Don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
I haven't read far enough to know whether she actually
But as soon as you find out all that stuff,
you're just like, oh what Yeah, So all I'm saying
post just be careful, al right, Sorry me, I'm just saying.
Speaker 5 (44:38):
I'm just saying, be careful.
Speaker 4 (44:39):
Me, be careful about what's happening in China.
Speaker 5 (44:42):
Just be careful, POGs, is all I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (44:44):
All right, Cheers man.
Speaker 1 (44:45):
The Hurdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
in week days and four on Radio Hodarchy.
Speaker 2 (44:51):
Harvey Dangel on The Hidaky Big Show Wednesday evening with
Keezy and pugsn Full show back Monday. Right now, though
it's signed four, we're up to five. The Brewery of the.
Speaker 5 (45:06):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
Every single day and the lead up to Beer Varner
down in Wellington, we feature a different brewery, all of
whom will be in attendance. Beer Varner twenty twenty six.
Get your tickets, Beer Vanner dot cot in Z will
see you down there. Today's brewery of the day, Yellow
Monkey Brewing. That's a curious name straight out of Japan.
Oh how good, very cool. A Japanese brewery can't have
to be a ven Yeah yeah, I like. I mean,
(45:28):
I've not had a lot of experience outside of your Sapporos,
your you know, your Asahi's and the one other that
I've had before as well.
Speaker 5 (45:36):
So craft Japanese beer.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
Very interested to get around there. One hundred percent are
they are. Yellow Monkey Brewing are bringing the unique take
on craft beer to beer Vanna this year. There's a
cool key connection as well. Kid brewer kN Go Saito
spent time as an assistant brewer at Wellington's Fork and Brewer,
so he's got fork and brewer clever and so he's
got a bit of altiat or brewing history behind him.
So he's come here, learned how we do it, and then
(45:58):
gone back to Japan started his own Yellow Man.
Speaker 5 (46:00):
Which is pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (46:01):
You can expect creative Japanese craft beers, a plenty of personality,
fresh ideas, and some seriously tasty drops. A reminder Beervana
next Friday and Sat Day down and well into Beervanna
dot Coto indead get your tickets there I will be.
Speaker 4 (46:12):
Looking out for that when we're Beavanna on the Friday.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
There differently, differently if you were going to start your
own craft beer pay or actually if we were starting
a brewery together, yep, what would you want to what
would be specializing in?
Speaker 3 (46:25):
Well, I think going off what I look for in
a brewery when I go there for the experience. Do
you mean like more beer related stuff or just as
like just the whole thing as a.
Speaker 2 (46:33):
Venue, because you've got the convenues part of it, right, Yeah,
So if it's okay, I'd like the venue to have
wood fire pizza.
Speaker 5 (46:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (46:40):
So with the wood fire pizza, man, as long as
I can get some fries in there, brother.
Speaker 2 (46:43):
One hundred percent good fries, and then I wouldn't mind
a beer or a dish or something named after me.
Speaker 3 (46:50):
Okay, see, now, come on, the fames get into your head, man. No, no,
that's not it's getting to you. But it's like, you know,
haven't even got what you've got a business plan?
Speaker 2 (46:57):
Come on, man, But you know how you go to
some places and you get the big breakfast or something
it'll be named after someone.
Speaker 5 (47:03):
Chezy Pizza, the Big Keezy Breakfast.
Speaker 4 (47:05):
The Big keezy pepperoni meat petty.
Speaker 5 (47:08):
One hundred percent.
Speaker 2 (47:09):
There you go, and it's a pizza with just full
meat patties.
Speaker 3 (47:13):
On two massive salamis on it. I'd also love somewhere
that would host live music. I'd love options for a
dark beer, a low card beer, and a just one
options of any different Yeah, yeah, like a good range.
Speaker 5 (47:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (47:28):
You know some places you can't get some of those,
you know what I mean, So I'd like to make
sure we cover all of those. I like the spots
they have the brewing equipment in the background bats yeah, yeah,
but it can't be too cold because it's industrial a
lot of the time.
Speaker 4 (47:40):
That makes them cold there.
Speaker 2 (47:41):
But you could have like a nice separation of like
a cold ear you can see through the glass and
then insides nice and warm. An open fire. You got
the wood fire pizza. There they're making the cheezy pizzas Pugs.
What dish do you want named after you? The fries
the pugsun fries.
Speaker 4 (47:55):
Yeah, man, it's a genius.
Speaker 5 (47:57):
Yeah, it's just a bowl of fries fries ala Pugs.
Speaker 2 (48:01):
But of course, Beavanna dot co dot in zis, get
your tickets and we will see you down there. Pugs,
you know what? Do you know what song we're going into?
Speaker 5 (48:09):
Oh? Is this Metallica? Yeah, the Brewery of the Day.
Speaker 1 (48:12):
Song, the Wold Aching Big Show with Jas, Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
Speaker 2 (48:27):
That is the big show down a dustin for Wednesday,
the twelfth of August twenty twenty six, just Keezy and Pugs.
But Mike and Jas will be back on Monday and
the Goat will be getting underway, so it will be
a good time to lock back in as a show. Pugs,
what are you doing tonight?
Speaker 3 (48:40):
No?
Speaker 4 (48:40):
I want them locked in now man while they're on holiday.
Speaker 2 (48:42):
Yeah, one hundred percent.
Speaker 5 (48:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (48:44):
What am I doing tonight?
Speaker 3 (48:46):
As I said earlier, I'm going out for dinner and
then I'm going to a gig at the town Hall.
Speaker 5 (48:51):
What is the gig?
Speaker 4 (48:53):
It's a singer from over in the US.
Speaker 3 (48:54):
She's got like her name's like Leve or Laofi or
something like that, right, and she has a voice like
those old Transatlantic nineteen twenties type singers.
Speaker 5 (49:04):
Right, like a lounge jerzy singer.
Speaker 4 (49:05):
Yeah, a little bit like that. Yeah, oh cool, yeah, Yeah,
it's a great vite. Yeah. Nice It sounds great place
to have it at the town Hall.
Speaker 2 (49:11):
How many gigs would you go to it a month?
Speaker 5 (49:13):
Four?
Speaker 4 (49:15):
Two to four?
Speaker 2 (49:16):
Yeah, yeah nice, So that's pretty good. I'll probably go
to one gig every six months maybe.
Speaker 3 (49:20):
But it depends on what you define as a gig,
Like a gig is anything live or it could even
be a gig, could be a DJ I want to
go see that's just playing at a bar.
Speaker 2 (49:27):
Yeah, still a gig, right, Okay. The only gig I've
been to is Englebert Humperdink and you were there.
Speaker 4 (49:33):
And what a gig man. But you're covered for gigs
for the year. Brother, that's right, I am.
Speaker 5 (49:37):
What are you up to tonight?
Speaker 2 (49:38):
My wife and I are going to have leftover pulled
pork tacos. We'll probably then watch Outrageous Fortune. She'll go
to beer and no. I want to go on line
with my mates bang and play big walk. Highly recommend
if you've got mates and you want to go online
have it a fun with them. So stupid, but there's
no jeopardy. It's not like you're shooting guns and call
a duty or anything like that. It's so chill.
Speaker 5 (49:56):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (49:58):
Yeah, we'll be back again. Tomorrow with more beer of
the Big Show. We've also got some tickets to give
away to a brand new movie tomorrow called The End
of Oak Street. We've got Reeburger vouchers, all sorts of stuff,
so make sure.
Speaker 3 (50:08):
You tune in now the Daily Goat to and don't
forget to get your votes in on the whole Acty
Big Shows Instagram story.
